“Claire, my dear, can you fetch the oven mitts?” Pastry Puff asked as she peered into the oven. Her last batch of cupcakes for the day were ready to come out and cool. The cheery earth pony smiled as her daughter quickly rushed over and grabbed the near perfect cupcakes from the rack. “Got 'em!” Claire Pipette called out as she pulled the cupcake pan from the oven and quickly removed them from the pan. “Now for the best part! The frosting!” “Haha, settle down, honey bun. I swear, a full grown mare excited over a little frosting on some cupcakes.” Pastry Puff giggled. “Mooooom!” Claire blushed as she hid her face with her long, pink bangs. “Not my fault your frosting is the best...” The blushing mare bit her lip as she spotted the nearby tub of delicious pink frosting. “I know, I know. It's been a family secret for generations, coaxing ponies from all corners of Equestria to come to our bakery for a taste.” Pastry Puff couldn't help but inflate her chest with pride. “It's certainly no secret as to just how tasty it is.” Pastry Puff teased as she reached out and gave Claire's tummy a little poke. “MOOOOOOOM!” Claire's entire head was blushing red with steam pouring out of her ears. “Oh goodness, sugar drop, you know where you get it from.” Pastry Puff giggled as she slapped her own impressive, wobbly gut. “It's in our blood to be bakers and nopony trusts a skinny cook you know.” Claire rolled her eyes. “I knowwwwww...you always say that right after you tease me about being plump.” “Well I think you look adorable no matter what, Claire.” She reached over and smothered her daughter in a tight hug. “And if I know stallions like I think I know stallions, they'll be after that cute behind you've been growing over the years.” “MOM! STOP!” Claire couldn't escape her embarrassment as her mother's laughter filled the bakery. Pastry Puff smiled as she began frosting her cupcakes. “Nothing to be ashamed of, honey bun. You know, your father in particular...” “I'M NOT LISTENING TO THIS! NOT AT ALL SO PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT YOU AND DAD LIKE THAT!” Pastry Puff stuck out her tongue. “Well then, maybe you should open your ears for what I'm about to say next.” The skilled baker had already finished the final touches on her batch of cupcakes and was boxing them up. “I've been doing some thinking and it might be time to step out of the kitchen. Let somepony else take charge of the bakery.” Pastry Puff sighed as she strung a ribbon over the box of cupcakes. “What do you mean, mom? You aren't selling the bakery, are you??” Claire gasped as she slapped her hooves on the counter. “Ahahaha, nothing like that.” Pastry Puff smiled. “I've been watching you improve your skills as my little assistant for years and I think it's time for to teach you one final recipe.” The wide mare was beaming as she wandered to the back of the kitchen. She reached into a drawer and pulled an old, weathered cookbook from inside. Pastry Puff flipped through the pages until she found what she was looking for. “Here it is. The final recipe you've been waiting to learn your entire life.” Pastry Puff set the cookbook down, allowing Claire to peer at the musty pages. “Go on. I think you're ready to learn the final trade secret of our bakery.” Claire peeked at the cookbook and her eyes widened. “This....This is the recipe for the frosting!” A clinking noise pulled Claire's attention away from the book. The bakery's key ring slowly drifted towards Claire. “I think it's time my little baby started baking on her own. Think you can handle it?” “Oh goodness...Mom...are you sure?” The flustered mare rushed over and gave her mother a giant hug. “Is there something wrong? You love baking and making sweets for everypony so why give it up?” Pastry Puff laughed. “Oh dear, nothing is wrong. I simply want you to run the family business now. You wont grow as a baker following your mother around and helping me with everything.” “Besides, I'm only a few blocks away. If the baker bug hits me, I can be your assistant if I need to rush around this tiny kitchen some more.” Pastry Puff smiled at her daughter. “You're going to be an amazing baker someday with skills that surpass mine. It's my job as your mother to make sure you live up to your potential.” “Moooooom!” Claire hugged even tighter as she felt a few tears welling up in her eyes. “I promise....I promise I'll be the best baker ever!” The chime of the bakery door cut the moment short. “Oops, there's my final customer.” Pastry Puff smiled as she grabbed the box of cupcakes. “How about I hand these over and you can clean up back here and close up the shop? Take a little while and relax for the weekend before you open up on Monday as the lead baker.” Claire shook her head. “I'll close up but I think I'll practice making the frosting. I can't disappoint our...I mean, MY customers on Monday, can I?” Pastry Puff beamed wide. “That's just what I expect from such a skilled baker like yourself. I'll stop by on Monday to see if you need any help.” “Bye, Mom!” Claire called out as she grabbed a few mixing bowls. “I gotta be the best baker I can be. For the town, Equestria and for my mom!” Claire dashed around the kitchen, gathering all the supplies and ingredients she needed. “I always wondered what this was for...never ever saw mom using it.” Claire mused as she added in all the ingredients. She began mixing it all up in awe as everything solidified into the creamy, delicious frosting she knew all too well. “Oh my gosh...is it really just this simple?” Claire dipped a spatula into the creamy mix and scooped up a tiny dollop of the frosting. She gave it a tentative lick and moaned as the impossibly delicious flavor hit her tongue hard. “MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmm” She moaned as another dollop of frosting was pushed into her mouth. “This is amazing! Now I can make as much frosting as I want!” Claire giggled as she skipped in delight. “I wonder...can I make EVERYTHING taste as good as mom makes?” More mixing bowls were pushed onto the counters as Claire rushed around the kitchen. Several eggs were cracked, flour was measured and the oven was preheating all while Claire kept a hoof firmly around her bowl of frosting. There was no stopping her from dipping her hoof into the creamy mix and stuffing the gooey treat right into her mouth. “Mmmm...I still can't get over how good it tastes...” Claire sighed as she put a cupcake pan and a cake pan into the oven. She pushed her hoof back into the frosting bowl only to scrape a smidgen of her coveted treat. “Oops...oh well, I can always make more.” Claire grinned as she looked back to the cookbook. “Yesss yes yes yes!” Claire smiled as she nibbled on another bowl of frosting. Another successful batch made just in time for her goodies to come out of the oven. She smiled as her treats cooled down, generously gobbling down her frosting. “Here we go.” Claire smiled as she grabbed a spatula and swished it through the bowl. She dabbed it onto a cupcake and frowned. “Out again? Jeez, why is it so tasty all by itself?” Claire's tummy gurgled in delight, making the baker blush as she forced out a tiny belch. “Okay, last bowl. I promise. Just because I really need it this time.” With a skilled hoof, Claire slowly dressed up her cupcakes with plenty of frosting and sprinkles. She licked her lips as she peeled away the wrapper and pushed the soft pastry into her mouth. Claire shuddered as the perfect cupcake melted in her mouth, exploding her taste buds with an overload of sugar. The wrappers piled up as each cupcake slowly disappeared into Claire's mouth. Her tummy gurgled in reply, sloshing and bubbling as it struggled to digest so much sugar at once. Claire smacked her dry lips as the sixth cupcake vanished down her throat. “Miiiiilk!” Claire cried out. She hurried to the refrigerator and opened the door as fast as she could. The needy mare pushed the bottle right to her lips, chugging down most of the refreshing liquid inside as her tummy sloshed loudly. “Ahh...” Claire sighed before another belch bubbled up from her bouncing belly. “Oof.” Claire blushed as she gave her full tummy a pat. “Okay, the cupcakes taste great.” She smiled as she pushed the remaining six away from her. Claire couldn't help but stare at the bare cake sitting without any frosting upon it. “T..Time to test the cake.” Claire licked her lips as she slowly spread the delectable frosting all over the cake. Claire held the knife above the cake for a moment or two. “How much do I want? I shouldn't get too big of a slice...since I already had so much.” Claire blushed as she sliced into the cake and moved her hoof for the next cut. “Maybe...this much?” She bit her lip as she dipped the knife down for an eighth of a slice. Her stomach gurgled loudly, forcing Claire's face to go deep scarlet as she moved the knife over for a fourth of a slice. The knife clanked against the counter as Claire discarded it. She pulled the cake towards the edge of the counter and pushed her muzzle into the waiting treat. Big, greedy bites disappeared into Claire's tummy as it swelled and blorped, making it harder and harder for the full mare to lean against the counter. “Unnnggggg....” Claire moaned as she slowly swallowed the last bite. “ Delicious.” She shuddered as she sat down and placed her hooves on her gut. Her belly gurgled and whined in complaint as Claire tried to soothe her tummy with a small massage. “Worth it.” She smiled before a deep rumbling began to well up in her expanded stomach. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPP Claire sighed in delight as a bit of the pressure faded. She grabbed the bottle of milk and drained the rest of it into her tummy. “Successful practice baking session, if I say so myself. Everything was amazing.” The plump baker was too drunk from her sugar high to reflect on her situation. Her stomach was beyond full and bloated, forcing her chubby thighs apart as it sagged onto the floor. No matter how far Claire leaned backwards, her impossibly huge gut still squished against the cold kitchen tile. Her stomach was already hard at work digesting away the obscene amount of calories sloshing away inside her. Claire's vest was growing tight as each little pound strained the ill fitting vest. Her rear was plumping up, becoming even bigger and softer to mimic her mother's wide, bouncy rump. Even her face was softened by her intense feeding, rounding out and giving the bubbly mare a second chin. A few stray bands of sunlight were still pouring into the bakery as Claire slowly picked herself up and stood in the bakery. “I suppose I better get home and clean this up tomorrow.” The greedy mare turned to exit the kitchen and wiped a bit of stray frosting off her face. Claire promptly licked her hoof clean and moaned as the sugary frosting filled her mouth once more. “You know...I probably shouldn't leave those cupcakes sitting out. It will attract ants!” The greedy mare lied to herself as she waddled back to the counter and devoured the remaining six cupcakes as fast as she could. “Mmmmm....I need to put this frosting on everything!” Claire moaned as she finished the last one. “I wonder....does it go well with apple pie? What about cookies? Doughnuts? Macaroons? Cinnamon rolls? The possibilities are endless!” Claire turned the oven back on and grabbed a smorgasbord of ingredients. “No time like the present to start learning new tricks!” Her stomach gurgled in approval as the kitchen was filled with amazing, sweet smells of baked goods and frosting. Pastry Puff sighed as she looked at the clock. “Is it still so early? Without anything to do, the morning is dragging along.” She tapped a hoof to her chin in thought. “Perhaps I can visit my little Claire and see how she's doing.” The earth pony smiled as she walked down the sidewalk. “Ahh, some fresh air is certainly helping this little funk. Maybe Claire can make us some doughnuts while we work.” Pastry Puff gasped as she noticed a crowd of ponies sitting outside of the bakery. “Oh dear, maybe my little sugar drop DOES need the help!” Pastry Puff rushed over to see the bakery still closed. “Mrs. Puff! Thank goodness. We were getting worried when we didn't see you or Claire today.” “You haven't seen Claire? Where could she be?” Pastry Puff reached for the doorknob and gave it a turn. To her surprise, the door was unlocked. “Oh goodness...” Pastry Puff walked into the bakery and frowned. “I hope nothing bad happened.” A loud belch caught her attention. Pastry Puff trotted into the kitchen and gasped at what she saw. Claire was sitting in the middle of a gigantic pile of messy pans and mixing bowls. Her face and mane were matted with stale frosting. Claire was a complete mess. A blubbery, blobby mess. Her legs were thick and heavy from the massive binge of frosting that had lasted the entire weekend. Claire's belly had grown so large and soft that she was sitting atop her gut as it sloshed and gurgled loud as could be. Even Pastry Puff blushed as she spotted Claire's massive rear, each cheek bigger than an entire pony. “Oh....HiiiiIIIIIIUUUUggggghhhh....mom.” Claire half spoke, half belched her greeting as she scratched her massive tummy. “Is it time to open up? I'll make some frosting for everything. Don't you worry.” Pastry Puff sighed as Claire tried to reach over her humongous tummy. “Maybe next year my little darling will control herself a little better.” She smiled as she gave her own tummy a pat. “Then again, she gets it from her mother!”
