>AB and Sweetie bicker back and forth before concluding that they have to get a good switch, even if it means sentencing their friend's heinie to a night of torment
>They'd get swatted too if they brought back a weak switch

>Scoot gets spanked
>Lines up and down her rump
>Rainbow, ever the prankster, remarks:
"Heh, looks like some fireworks exploded on Scoot's rump!"
>Rainbow whispers something to Twi
>Everypony sees the chastened filly's behind glow for two seconds
>Scoot has never felt this before
>The pain is coming in waves across her fanny

>Even Scootaloo sees the dim glow

>First the middle glows
>then it dims and the glow spreads outwards

>Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom say in mock wonder
>Applejack thinks it's hilarious, but Sweetie gets a smack on the bum from her big sister, who is stifling a giggle
>Scootaloo keeps repeating the same thing and rubbing her bottom
"Oooh! Ahhhh!"
>Seems the brighter parts hurt the worst
>With those spots always changing, Scoot can't ignore the pain or get used to it
>Years later, Scootaloo bought Rainbow a "Filly Flamer" fireworks set as a joke
>It brought back painful, but now cherished memories
