Originally uploaded to Pastebin: January 1st, 2013 --- Update 30/04/2021 -- After a bit of thought, as well as seeing how other writers are doing things these days, I've decided that separate pastes for chapters is superfluous. All parts of the story have now been consolidated into a single paste. --- This was my first attempt at a multi-part story. Thinking back, I still have the same problem today that I did back then: I have no idea what I'm doing. !highlight!--- !highlight!Part 1 !highlight!--- >Day It Begins in Equestria >Wake up and stretch >Scratch the back of your head, yawning >Kick off the covers and get dressed >Walk into the bathroom and start brushing teeth >A note stuck to the corner of the mirror says "Barricade house today" >Grunt in acknowledgement >Finish up and head downstairs to get some food >A toolbox sits on the kitchen counter >Groan at the thought of the coming day >But it's got to be done, unless you want to risk damage >Chew on an apple and head out the backdoor to your shed >Unlock the shed door and open it >Fluttershy is stood in the cramped space >"G-good morning! Is illogical breaking and entering your fetish?" Fluttershy how did you even do this? >Look behind her and see a huge hole with a dirty shovel resting next to it Oh. >She beams at you >"I did it because I love you!" >Stare at her Fluttershy, you wouldn't know what love was if it hit you in the face >"W-well if you spray your seed all over my face I'll know what it is... And what it tastes like..." God damn you're a foul creature. >Her ears go flat >"I just want to love you, Anon!" And do you? >"Yes!" Then why are you breaking into my she- fuck, How long have you been digging this tunnel? Where does it lead? >"M-my cottage." That's at the other side of town, Fluttershy. >"It's taken me a few months... But it was worth it for you!" >Rub your temples Look. We have to prepare for the storm today. Have you fixed up your cottage? >"Oh yes. I left Angel bunny to do it" You left a rabbit in charge of home security >"He's very smart for a bunny." >Reach over her head and grab a few planks of wood led against the shed wall >She takes the opportunity to bury her face in your crotch and sniff loudly >She shudders Can you not do that? It's really creepy. >"S-sorry" No you're not. >"Oh... Sorry" Stop apologising >"Right. Yes. Sorry." >This horse. >Grab a few more planks and rest them over your shoulder >"Anon?" What. >"C-can I help you?" Sure, I guess. Just try not to break anything. >You go around the house with the planks, hammering them over windows and making sure there are no leaks in the roof >The whole time, Fluttershy pretends to work, when really she's just staring at your sweaty body >At one point you have no choice but to remove your shirt because of the heat, upon doing this you hear Fluttershy whimper and fall off the roof >Roll your eyes and carry on hitting the roof with a hammer. >You have no idea what you're doing up there, but it feels like you're making progress. >Climb down the ladders and look at the house with your hands on your hips >Everything looks great, as far as you can see >Turn to Fluttershy, who is drooling at your shirtless chest Well, Fluttershy. You did fuck all, can't hold a hammer, were completely useless to me and only stared me while I worked for about- >Check your watch 4 hours. Thanks for your help >"N-no problem, Anon. If you need anything else I can help you" >She throws down her hammer >"Oh no! Let me just pick that up" >She leans over the hammer, presenting herself to you You're deranged, Fluttershy. >"If being in love makes you deranged, then I don't want to be ranged" That's not even... Go home. >"Okay..." >After she leaves you jog into town to get some food >It's market day, despite the coming storm, and ponies are hurredly selling their wares and nervously looking at the sky >Pegasi have begun creating massive cloud formations, the sky turning black with volatile storm clouds >You watch as a Pegasi is too rough with one, and it spits out a static charge back at her >She shakes herself off and more gently moves it around >Look away and carry on jogging up to a stall >A bright blue Earth Pony with a green mane smiles at you >"Hey there, Anon! Here for some cucumbers?" You know it, Greenthumb. How much do you want for 3? >You always smile at the idea of her parents calling her GreenTHUMB. Since ponies lack them. But it's just another one of those strange occurences in this increasingly bizzare world. >"Oooh, well I'd normally say 5, but for you I can make it 4." >Her smile widens >You grin back and wink at her as you pass her 5 bits 4 for the food, 1 as a tip. >She blushes slightly >"T-thanks, Anon... You be careful with the storm yeah?" I will be, bye! >Continue hopping from stall to stall, filling your bag with foodstuffs and other delights >You have the bits to afford it all, since you're constantly working around town. >No concrete job placements, but ponies know what you can do with your hands so you've done everything from pruning bushes to sewing >The pay is good as well. You try to make a good impression and it's payed off, ponies respect you and greet you with a smile. >It's a good life, apart from Fluttershy. >But even she is somewhat tolerable. You just wish she'd stop with the fetish guessing >Last week she actually froze herself in a giant icecube >You found her on your doorstep, her face frozen in a half-blink, that made it look like she was in the middle of sneezing when she flash-froze herself >A note was hammered into the ice that read "Is hypothermia your fetish?" >Spent the whole afternoon chipping away bits of ice to get her out before she died. >With a bag full of vegetables and the storm clouds above starting to rumble, you decide to head back >Your house comes into view and you see a familiar being stood in front of your door, shuffling nervously Oh for... >Fluttershy looks around and sees you heading towards her >She flies on over and you can see worry in her eyes >"Anon! I umm... Have sort of a- uhh. Problem... Help..." >Don't answer, just motion for her to follow you inside >Sit down in the living room and beckon to a chair facing you >She takes a seat, but sits in an upright position >She seems incredibly nervous, maybe even scared. What's wrong? >"Umm. Well I got back to my house and Angel bunny hadn't made my house safe..." >The rabbit didn't perform manual labour on command? What a shock. Please don't say what I think you're going to say. >"And I was wondering..." Don't. >"Since my house isn't safe from the storm... Can I stay with you tonight?" God dammit. >Stand up and look down at her >She peers up hopefully, a small smile on her face >"Please?" Aren't you worried about your animals? >"They'll be fine. They'll shelter in the Everfree while the storm happens... Weather here doesn't affect that area" >This is beginning to sound like a poorly constructed rape attempt >If you went over to her house now, you risk getting caught in the storm >You wish you could call her bluff be she looks genuinely scared >Either she's a brilliant actress or she was actually dumb enough to ask a rabbit to make her house safe >It's just one night. You can survive it. Alright, Fluttershy. You can stop here while the storm is happening, but as soon as it's over you're out. >"Yes! Thank you, Anon! You're so generous..." >She lunges at you and squeezes your middle tightly, rubbing her face into your belly >Sigh and pry her off >Point a finger at her No funny business. I just want a normal evening, and hope that the barricades hold. Okay? >She salutes with a serious look on her face >"Got it" >The serious face dissolves and she gains a look of bliss >She begins bouncing around the room happily >"Oooh, we can do so many fun things! I heard about a slumber party that Twilight once had and it sounded wonderful!" >Roll your eyes and take your bag of food into the kitchen >Fluttershy bounces after you, still firing off "fun" activites for you both to do >"W-we can tell each other scary stories, and read by the fire, and snuggle, and practice k-kissing! Oh this is going to be so much fun!" >Try and ignore her as you stock the fridge >"Ooh~... And if the storm gets too scary... We c-can huddle together under the bed covers and keep each other safe!" >Oh hell no We are NOT sleeping in the same bed. We're sleeping in separate rooms >Her ears go flat >"P-please? I promise I won't do anything..." That's a lie and you know it. >She mumbles something under her breath >You're about to ask what the hell she just said but a flash outside lights up the room, followed by a distant rumbling >The storm has begun >Fluttershy launches herself into your chest, shaking. Oh come on, you're not scared of thunder, are you? >"Y-y-yes" >Let out a frustrated groan >Look at the clock on the wall >6 o Clock >You pull Fluttershy off you and walk into the living room again, picking up a book as you walk >You read it by lamplight as Fluttershy watches you >The minutes tick by and Fluttershy continues to gaze at you, occasionally sharing highly thought provoking words of wisdom >"I-if you came inside me, do you think we'd have foals?" >Look up at her and regard her with the most uninterested expression you can muster >"Is that a yes?" No. Biology doesn't work that way, Fluttershy. >"Oh. Okay..." >She looks down >You continue reading >"I bet if we got married, you'd be so happy with me" >Look at her again And why do you think that? >"Because I would do anything for you, mister. I just want to make you h-happy." Fluttershy. 2 months ago I woke up tied to my bed, with you trying to get me hard. That's not love, nor does it make me happy. >She looks hurt >"B-but I offer you everything! F-food, companionship, sex... What do I have to do?" You need to let this go. I'm not interested in you, Fluttershy. You can't force someone to be attracted to you. Even if I spent the rest of my days with you I wouldn't become attracted to you. >Fluttershy jumps of her chair, lip trembling >"O-okay, Anon. If that's what you want." >She heads of towards the stairs slowly Where are you going? >"To bed" >Damn, you really hurt her this time. >It's her own fault though. She can't take no for an answer >Another hour of quiet reading passes >You look towards the clock >10 o Clock >Time flies. >You decide to call it a night, the storm still raging outside >You shudder at the noise of the howling wind and rain lashing against the windows >Peer outside into the gloomy darkness >Trees are nearly bent in half from the force of the wind, and a branch breaks off one, spinning wildly into the night, carried by the wind >Walking upstairs, you hear a faint sobbing over the sound of the wind >Stop outside the guest room >Listen for a while >Gently push open the door and peer inside >The room is dark, save for the occasional lightning bolt illuminating the room >A dark shape is led on the bed, facing away from the door >It sobs again and trembles >Lets get this over with >Step into the room and sit down on the bed >Fluttershy's head raises to look at you, her face streaked with tears >You offer a smile and rub her ear >She sniffs and positions herself so that you can rub more What am I going to do with you, Fluttershy? >"L-love me?" You know I can't do that. >Her lip trembles again >"It hurts, Anon. Every time you reject me. It hurts so much" >You pull her in close and shush her I know it does, Fluttershy. >Sit there stroking her, listening to the sounds of the storm for a while >Look down >Fluttershy smiles up at you All better? >"Yes..." >Lay her down and pull the covers over her >"C-can I have a good night kiss?" >Shake you head and let out a short laugh You never change, do you? >She smiles nonetheless and closes her eyes >"Good night, Anon. I'll get you some day." >At that she falls into slumber. Dreaming Fluttershy dreams. >You walk across the landing to your room and lay down on the bed, listening to the near-monsoon outside >Another flash creates shadows at every part of your room, followed by the boom you had grown accustomed to over the course of the night >Staring at the the ceiling from your back, you find that you can't sleep >Get up and go over to the window >Watch the storm blow outside through the gaps in the wood >Entire branches are being torn off trees >You watch in shock as one such branch collides with the side of your house, bouncing off the wood over a downstairs window >The impact sends a loud bang through the house, and you hear a scream from Fluttershy's room >You walk over to her room and see her sat up, trembling with wide eyes >She sees you enter and jumps into your arms again >You carry her into your room, and lie her down on your bed Try and get some sleep, Fluttershy. >She nods fearfully and you go over to the bathroom >You splash water on your face and look in the mirror >You become lost in thought for a while then turn around and see Fluttershy watching you Come on Fluttershy, go to slee- >The house shudders as a huge branch smashes straight through the window barricade, colliding with the side of Fluttershy and launching her into the opposing wall >You stare in horror at the place she was sat for a second >The wind and rain begin pouring into the room, and another flash of lightning reveals Fluttershy's crumpled body in the corner of your room, crushed under the branch >You run over to her, screaming her name >Ignoring the freezing wind chilling you to the bone, you try and move the branch off her >After much effort you shift it from on top of her and shake her body with a hand >She's not moving >Her eyes are distant and glazed over, an expression of shock on her face >Tears form in your eyes as it hits you >She's gone. >You start openly crying as the storm howls outside, cradling Fluttershy's lifeless body in your arms I'm sorry... I'm so so sorry... >Morning comes >You haven't said much to anyone since the events of last night >Practically everyone broke down and cried upon hearing the news, except Applejack. >She stayed strong and nodded with a trembling lip >As for you, you headed home and started to fix the damage, from installing a new window to cleaning the blood from your bedsheets and wall >You sit in your reading chair that night, staring into space and thinking about Fluttershy >Hours pass of nothing but silence >Eventually you decide it's time to go to bed and you slog upstairs, trying not to stare at the corner of your room as you climb into bed >You turn away from the wall and stare at the window you fixed >Tears form in your eyes and you feel yourself start to cry again >As you weep you hear someone speak >"Anon? Why are you crying?" >Your eyes widen >That voice >Oh god no. >You've gone mad with grief >You sit up and stare at the source of the voice >Fluttershy is hovering at the foot of your bed >You can see straight through her, and her entire body is floating without use of wings >"H-have I done something wrong?" >Stare at her slackjawed Are... Are you real? Am I not going insane? >She looks around confused >"Why, what's wrong?" >She looks down and inspects her body >"Oooh... Okay... That." >You still can't quite believe this Fluttershy. Y-you're dead. >She looks at you and smiles >"I guess." >She ponders for a second >"Are Hauntings your fetish?" AAAAAAAAAA- !highlight!--- !highlight!Part 2 !highlight!--- >Day Nightmares in Equestria >You scream as loud as you can for as long as you can >10 seconds >Screaming is hard >Throw off the covers and run like the wind while Fluttershy's Ghost follows you >"Anon? Darling? Please don't be scared!" >Run downstairs and lock yourself in the kitchen, pushing the table infront of the door to prevent entry >Flutterghost slides through the wall, a perplexed expression on her face >"Please, Anon..." STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME! >"But-" YOU'RE NOT REAL! >"Anon-" >You sit on the floor, cover your ears and start rocking to and fro, reciting old nursery rhymes as you go The wheels on the bus go round and round... >"A-anon, I don't know what's going on-" Round and round... >"But I'm scared." Round and round... >"I j-just want to know why this is happening" The wheels on the bus go round and round... >Fluttershy sighs and sits on her haunches infront of you All day... Long? >Look up and stare at her >Shakily move your hand towards her >She stretches out a hoof, smiling >Your appendages meet >And go straight through each other >Tears somehow form in Fluttershy's eyes >They drop to the floor and disappear once they hit the tiles >"I'm scared" You think you've got problems. I've gone mad! >Fluttershy glowers at you >"I AM real..." No you're not. Your a figment of my imagination. And here I am talking to you. Evidence that I've lost the plot. >Fluttershy smiles and turns around, waving her rear at you >You can see the tiles through her butt >It's weird >"W-well I've still got the plot, mister" Even if I WAS interested in your butt, I can't actually grab it, Fluttershy. >She tears up again >"S-so what? Am I supposed to live my life unable to touch or... Be touched?" Yeah. Even though you're not real. >She starts crying again >Sigh Well, Imagination-shy, I'm going to see Twilight to check if she does councelling. God knows I need it. >Unblock the kitchen door and stroll out the front door, plucking a jacket from the coat hanger as you go >Lock the front door >Fluttershy's face appears through it >Nothing else >Just her face >Your door is now Fluttershy >"Grrr, I'm a door!" >She giggles Damn, you cheered up quickly. >"Are cheerful ponies your fetish?" Yeah. You haven't changed a damn bit. >Not even death itself can stop her obsession >This horse. >Walk through Ponyville with your insanity slowly getting worse >"L-look, Anon! I'm a shark!" >Turn to see Fluttershy chasing you, her rear end and tail acting as a fin as she glides through the earth, her other half underground. >Shake your head and keep walking >No one is around at this hour. The town is utterly silent >Twilight's gonna be pissed that you woke her up, unless she's pulling an all-nighter. >Reach the library and knock three times on the door >After a while a very tired looking Twilight answers it >"An... on? Wh-what are you doing?" I've gone insane. Please help. >"Insane? From what?" >Fluttershy's head explodes from out of your chest >"BLEEEH! I'M A MONSTER FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE! OOOooOOOooooO!" >She giggles like a maniac >Twilight faints >10 minutes later you're in Twilight's bedroom waiting for her to wake up >Spike woke up, saw Fluttershy, and got it through his head that he was dreaming >So he ran to the kitchen to eat literally everything he could find >You hoped that dragons can ingest bleach without dying. >Twilight groans and slowly comes around >"What... Happened?" >She looks up at you, sat on the edge of her bed and holding a hand to her forehead >"Anon? What's going on? I remember answering the door-" Twilight. Since you just fainted, I can confirm that something absolutely horrible has happenend. >"What?" A being of great evil, thought to be dead, has returned from the grave to wreak havoc on the land and make my life a living hell >"WHO?" >You point to Fluttershy >She's flying around the room singing loudly and ducking in and out of walls, laughing like a child with a new toy >Twilight stares at her >"Is that..." Fluttershy. >"B-but she's- Dead. I know. She was stood at the foot of my bed tonight, asking me why I was crying >Twilight gives you an odd look >A sly smile creeps onto her lips >"You were crying?" >Glare at her Stop that. Yes I was crying. My uhh, window was ruined and I spent a lot of bits getting a new one. >Twilight gives you a knowing smile And how come YOU weren't crying? She's YOUR friend after all. I thought you would be depressed or something. You were when you found out about her death. >"I was crying. But it's ok for me to cry" Why? >"I'm a girl." Fucking sexism. >Twilight grins at you and hops off her bed >She watches Fluttershy perform a barrel roll through her bedroom wall and into her bathroom through another piece of solid wood >"Fascinating..." So what do you make of it? >"Well, I'm a skeptic at heart, so this is confusing for me. But from what I've read from the non-fiction section of the library, ghosts can only move on into the next world until they've come to terms with their deaths or are satisfied that the circumstances of it." So she's here because she hasn't accepted the fact that she's dead? >"Well... Yeah." >You both silently watch Fluttershy do loops in the air and sing in a hauntingly beautiful voice >It echoes off the walls and makes the hairs on your neck stand on end It's kinda sad when you think of it that way >Twilight looks on sadly >"It is... She was so happy in life. I hope she comes to terms with it soon. She deserves a peaceful death." >Fluttershy notices that you're both staring at her and stops in the air >She's still not using her wings. She's just sort of floating there >Being all ghostly n shit >Clear your throat Uhh, Fluttershy? >"Yes, darling?" Don't call me that. And can you like, please come to terms with your death? I need sleep. >"O-oh... Well. No. Thank you." >You and Twilight turn to each other, a shocked expression across her face Waddya mean, "No"? >"I don't want to move on, thank you. I'm quite happy like this now" >Oh god no What are you saying? >"Well, like this I can fly through anything, live forever, do what I want" >She continues, getting more into her speech >"I don't need to eat or sleep. So I can spend more time doing what I want!" Which is? >She flies up to your face and tries to lick you with her ghost-tongue >Feels like air >"You." >Twilight bursts out laughing >You glare at her >Fluttershy smiles some more Stop laughing! You're meant to be helping me! >"Oooh this is funny!" >Twilight wipes a tear from her eye >"She's actually defied death so she can be with you. That's so adorable and funny!" I fail to see the funny side. Or the adorable one. >She composes herself >"I just think it's cute how she wants to spend all this time with you." >She looks at Fluttershy, a more serious look on her face. >"But seriously, Fluttershy. Die. Anon and I need sleep and if word gets out that ghosts are real then more might crop up!" Uhh, how, exactly? >"Think about it, Anon. You go through life thinking that death is the end. You die, and then you have no idea what's going on, all you want is for it to end so you can be at peace. Rather than go through the pain of seeing your loved ones cry over your death or having to wander the world as a spirit, wouldn't you rather just let it all go?" I suppose, yeah. >"But if ponies see Fluttershy, enjoying herself in death and talking to the ponies she loved and enjoying death, then ponies everywhere that die will learn to enjoy death! And then more and more spirits will crop up! And then no pony will get any sleep!" My god... That sounds terrible! A world without sleep... >"No warm pillows. No cuddly teddy bears. No snoozing after sex. Nothing. Just spirits watching you and annoying you all the time" So the fate of the world depends on Fluttershy staying dead? >"Well... Maybe I overexaggerated a little bit." You think? >As you both discuss the repercussions of Fluttershy staying alive in death, the mare herself is experimenting >Not sexually. She did all that in college. >Crazy fucking pony >She floats on over to a nearby book >Stares at it >Concentrates incredibly hard >And reaches for it Look, all I'm saying Twilight, is that maybe things won't get that bad. It's just Fluttershy. It's not the end of the world >"Yeah, ok. But still. If words gets out, ponies will do something crazy, I just know it." >"TWILIGHT! ANON! LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!" >You both spin around >Fluttershy is beaming at you >And holding a book in her hooves Oh sweet Jesus >"F-fluttershy. Put the book down." >"Oh my goodness this is incredible! I have to strain myself really really hard but I can do it!" >She's euphoric from this new talent of hers >As if flying through walls wasn't enough Knock it off, Fluttershy. That's a stupid talent to have. >Fluttershy's smile fades and the book falls through her hooves, hitting the floor. >Twilight winces >"Look, Fluttershy... Just accept it, ok? Your friends love you, and I'm sure Anon does too-" I don't. >"Anon doesn't love you. But I do! And Applejack, and Rainbow Dash and everyp0ny else! Please, Fluttershy. It was hard enough accepting that you're dead. Just move on." >Fluttershy stares at the floor >"Okay..." >Twilight smiles >"Good. It was nice to see you again Fluttershy. And I love you dearly. But you have to move on. For your own good." >Fluttershy's lip trembles and she starts to cry again >It's more of a wail, really. >She sobs and weeps and sinks through the floor of the library >"Goodbye, Twilight. G-goodbye, Anon..." >And she's gone. >Again. >Sigh Thanks for the help, Twilight. That was really depressing to watch. >She grabs both sides of your head and pulls you in close >"Don't you EVER think that this was your fault, Anon." >Her sudden outburst takes you aback Alright alright! I won't. >She lets go >"Good. Because it's not good to regret things like this. We all need to move on. It's part of life." >"Now I'm going to bed. Good night, Anon." >You walk out of her bedroom and walk downstairs >Pass Spike, who's passed out next to a giant pile of bleach bottles >He'll be fine. >Walk home in silence under the moonlight >You could have said something a bit more heartwarming to her. >It was the last time she'd see you, after all. >The shock of seeing her alive sort of made you more angry than anything else. >You were tired, angry, confused and scared. >And now you're making excuses as to why you acted like a massive dick to the pony who died infront of your eyes >You feel yourself getting worked up at the thought that had plagued your mind all day, Fluttershy's sudden and untimely death >By the time you reach your front door again you feel downright miserable >Unlock and push open the door >Hang up your jacket >Skulk upstairs and into your bedroom >You get under the covers, hoping to get some sleep this time >Things will get better >In time, you might even forget about Fluttershy >That annoying mare. So depraved and desperate beyond measure >Who's in the same bed as you >... >Wait a second. >Your eyes widen >Slowly turn over under the covers >Your eyes lock with the ghostly form lying uncomfortably close next to you >Stare at her for a full minute, neither of you saying anything >She leans forward and licks your face >This time you can feel her ice cold tongue slide over your lips, nose and forehead >She smiles >"Boo." >You just lie there looking at her with all the despair a man haunted by an undead rapist can muster Why. >"Because I love you." Why. >"Because you have a hot monkey dick." Why. >"Because you're human?" Why. >"Because somewhere back on your homeworld, the environment forced your species to evolve down a certain path, resulting in the human race looking like this?" Why. >"Because billions of years ago your planet was a volatile ball of volcanos and thunderstorms until eventually the seas formed, giving birth to the first single celled organisms from a primitive form of amino acids?" Why. >"Because life is just the result of a long chain-reaction of incredibly unlikely accidents and events so few and far between that just thinking about it makes you appreciate just how lucky you are to be alive in this endless, violent and uncaring universe?" Oh well that makes much more sense. Get out of my life now, please. >"No. I won't move on until I guess your fetish!" What if I get really old and ugly? >"I'll still love you!" The hell you will. >"You're probably right. Can I please have sex with you now?" I'm going to sleep now, Fluttershy. >"C-can't you stay awake a little bit longer?" No. Because incase you haven't forgotten, people need sleep to function. Because you're dead you clearly don't need sleep. NOW STOP FUCKING TALKING AND LET ME SLEEP. IT'S TWO IN THE FUCKING MORNING. >One of your neighbours screams out of their window >"WE KNOW, YOU JACKASS!" >Lie there fuming at Fluttershy, who smiles sweetly back at you >"I love you, Anon." Go to hell. Literally. >"Nope" >Turn over and slam your eyes shut, praying that she'll leave you alone >Thankfully, she's still capable of a small amount of mercy, and you fall asleep quickly >Maybe it was all one big horrible dream >Yeah. That must be it. >You'll wake and everything will be normal >Day Spooky Scary Skeletons in Equestria >Wake up >Fluttershy has mastered the art of touching things as a ghost and is sucking you off >"Ghost blowjob, woo woo!" WHY. >"Because the universe started over 40 billion years-" NO GOD DAMMIT. >You tense up >Watch in horror as your seed sprays all over the inside of her mouth >It slides through her body and settles where her stomach would be >Feel nausious >Run to the bathroom with past Fluttershy, who's giving you the biggest shit eating grin she can pull >Or in her case, seed eating grin >Brain. I'm not in the mood for your shit. >Fluttershy follows you around while you do the morning routine >Much to your dismay, she decided to fly inside the toilet while you were taking a dump >Look at her between your legs while you do the deed You're a disgusting creature, did I ever tell you that? >"Not l-like you can do anything about it, mister. I'm dead. I can do what I want." >Shudder >Finish up and go to make breakfast >Fluttershy is waiting for you at your table >"Good morning, darling!" >Fucking wallhacks. >Sit down and try to eat cereal >"So I was thinking, today we could check on my animals, and then have a picnic!" You can't eat shit. >"I did this morning" >You gag on your toast NOT LIKE THAT YOU INSIPID LITTLE HELLSPAWN. >She laughs >"I would just watch you eat! It'll be so cute!" Yeah. I'm sure going on a date with an undead abomination would be the most wonderful day out. >Fluttershy lowers her head >"I'm not an abomination..." >Give her a flat look >Shake your head Look, I'm going out. I have jobs to do. >She looks up, a smile on her face >"I could help you!" >You ponder the idea of a ghost being your personal carry-slave for the day >Sounds good >Twilight's voice echos through your head >"We can't let anyone see Fluttershy, Anon! Or ponies will get it though their heads that they can defy death as well!" >"Also you're really handsome and smart!" >Mind-Twilight then begins poledancing >Hell yeah, mother fucker. >Shake your head and compose yourself No. You're staying right here. >"B-but why?" Because if ponies see you then they'll try and copy you in death. And I can't be bothered dealing with hordes of spirits refusing to move on. You don't want to be responsible for upsetting the natural balance of nature, do you? >Fluttershy goes glum >"I suppose n-not..." Good girl >Pat her on the head >Your hand goes through it and touches the semen suspended inside her >Pull it out slowly >She looks up at you sheepishly >"Uhh. Ectoplasm?" >Wash your hand and walk out your front door >Turn to Fluttershy before you close it >Point at her Sit. >She sits on the floor, looking at you expectantly Stay. >She starts panting like a dog Good boy. >"I'm not a boy." Dogs can't talk. >Slam the door and lock it >Like it will do any good >She's just going to follow you around and bring about the end of the natural order >Fucking Fluttershy >Walk into Ponyville and start asking around for jobs >No such luck >Your stomach rumbles and you check your watch >It's been 3 hours since the single piece of toast you ate. >Gotta get food fast >Walk through the market and towards Sugarcube corner >Pass a very familiar face sat all alone at her stall, looking miserable >Smile and walk on over Hey there, Greenthumb. How's business? >She has her chin rested on the edge of the stall, her eyes look up at you and she manages a return smile >"H-hey, Anon... Crummy." >Damn. No customers today? >She sighs >"Nope. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Is it too expensive? I try to sell my stuff for what it's worth, but no pony seems to want it." >Look at the sign >'1 Veg for 1 bit" >Seems ok >Some grumpy fuck around here sells cherries for 2 bits You're fine, Greenthumb. Really. You're going to have good days and bad days in this kind of business. Here, let me help you. >Pull out around 7 bits and place them on the stand >Greenthumb's ears perk up and her eyes widen >"A-all this?!" Sure. Why not? See you around, Greenthumb. >Walk away with a smile on your face >"Bye Anon! Thankyou! Thankyou so much!" >She's a good pony, that Greenthumb. Must be hard being in the Vegetable business when you've got the likes of Applejack and Carrot Top to worry about. Those two play hardball. >Finally get a job painting a fence on the outskirts of Ponyville >Walk towards where you were told the house was >Pass a familiar path on the way there >Frown >Look around >No one around >Head down the path >Towards Fluttershy's Cottage >A short walk later you arrive at the picturesque little hovel >Stand there awkwardly for a while >What were you doing here? >Find yourself walking towards the house >Get to the front door >Absentmindedly knock >Why would you even do that, no one ho- >Angel answers the door, looking tired >Oh. >Yeah. >Them. >Look past Angel and into the house >Several animals are dragging themselves around the house, groaning from hunger >It's been 2 days, and no one thought to check on them >You feel slightly angry at that thought >You owe Fluttershy this much >For some reason >Well ok, you owe the animals. They didn't see this coming. None of you did. They don't deserve to be ignored >Walk into the kitchen, the smell of animals overpowering you slightly >Open cupboards and drawers >Get as much food as you can, and set it out in the middle of the main room >Stand next to a sack of seeds and oats that you found >The animals take no notice of you, instead opting to just lie there >Clear your throat, getting the attention of a few, including Angel, who stands there watching you carefully Uhh. Lunch time? >A veritable horde of animals seems to explode from every direction >Ferrets, owls, otters, dogs, cats, any animal you name appears out of thin air and descends on the food >Damn they must be hungry. >The fish and vegetables you laid out are torn to shreds and consumed in a matter of moments, the animals chattering hungrily >After about a minute of frenzied eating they all look up at you with grateful looks on their faces >Feels something tug your pant leg >Look down >Angel is staring up at you, smiling. >You pick him up and you both watch in silence as the animals disperse Angel. You can understand me, right? >He stands on your right shoulder, and you turn your head to look at him >He nods Well... I have some bad news about Fluttershy. >He looks at you. His face completely neutral, and eyes unblinking. Waiting for you to talk She uhh. Had an accident. A pretty bad one... And- >Angel's eyes begin tearing up, his little body shaking I'm sorry. >He grabs your head and hugs as hard as he can, burying his face in like his life depended on it >You pull him off gently and rest him against your chest >You stand in the middle of the remnants of the feeding frezy, holding the crying rabbit >Stare at the wall in melancholy silence, waiting for Angel to finish crying his heart out >Eventually he stops and jumps down >He puffs out his chest and looks up at you sternly >Look down at him You're gonna look after these animals, right? You know where the food is and you won't let them down? They're under your protection now. You've got to be their Guardian Angel. >He salutes and scampers off outside >Watch him go Because I can't be here all the time... >Walk out after Angel and close the cottage door, taking one final look at the house >You see Angel talking in animalese to some otters >He directs them to go somewhere and they oblige, then he runs off to another group of animals >Smile >He'll be just fine. >Just then you hear a faint squeak >Look around the area, confused >Notice a dark blob under a nearby bush >Raise an eyebrow >Pull at the bush, it just comes away easily >It's a large hole. >And a ghost is in it Fluttershy. What the hell are you doing? >"O-oh. Well you said I can't be seen. So umm. I'm just using this tunnel I made to get back to my cottage!" >Blink >That's actually quite smart. Who knew that the tunnel would be worth something? >"Is this ok?" Look, Flutters. >She swells with pride at the nickname As long as you don't get seen, you can do what you want. Other than annoy me. Or haunt anyone you don't like. >"Oh that's not going to happen, I love everything! Especially you..." >She somehow blushes >Then frowns Something wrong? >"W-well when I was sneaking into the tunnel, I saw one of my animal friends! I went over to comfort him and he just screamed and ran away" >She tears up >"What d-did I d-do wrong?" >It clicks >Sigh Fluttershy... You're dead. Animals must act differently around spirits. >"O-oh. But that can't be right! I see Angel right over there and he looks fine... Though a bit hungry..." FLUTTERSHY. >She looks at you, you can see the desperation in her eyes Just follow me >She does so, and you walk down the path away from her house a bit These animals think you're dead now. If you go over to them, you'll scare the life out of them. And if that encounter with an animal this morning taught you anything, it's that animals don't react well to ghosts >She looks solemnly at you Besides, Angel is looking after them now. And he's doing a fine job. >"Angel?" >She looks back towards the cottage >You follow her gaze >Angel is dragging a sack towards a tree of waiting birds >He signals them and they fly down to him, where they start eat grains he throws on the floor >Fluttershy giggles >"He always was such a good boy" >She sighs >"I-I guess I can forget about them now... But where am I supposed to go?" >You knew this was coming Look. Until you, ya know, "accept death". You can stay at my place. Just try not to wreck it. Okay? >She brightens up >"O-ok! I'll just... Go there... now..." >She slowly floats back to the hole she crawled out of, taking one final long look at her animal friends before disappearing down it >Poor thing. Her animals were her life. >Now all she has is... >You. >Take a deep breath and set off towards to your job >The stallion who gave it to you promised some nice pay, since he's never got the time to do it >You get to the right place and start work, after being instructed by the guys wife >Couldn't quite understand why she didn't do the work herself. >But hey, money's money. >You paint in silence over the course of the morning and into early afternoon >Once you've finished you get your payment - 20 bits. Not bad at all. >Walking home you look down the path to Fluttershy's cottage >Smile and carry on walking >He'll be fine. !highlight!--- !highlight!Part 3 !highlight!--- >Day Ghostbusters in Equestria >Wake up the next day feeling pretty relaxed >You have enough bits in your pocket and savings >About 150 all together, so you're in a good spot >Decide to take a day off to enjoy yourself >Sat in your kitchen eating the increasingly disturbing cereal "Cheery Chews" brand >You swear the person that designed these cereals was depraved >The first one you ate was called "Friendly Fudge" >Then they brought out a new one called "Jobless Juicey" >Then it was "Wife-beating Blast" >Finally they came out with "I'm going to prison Surprise" >Like the names of the cereal, the stuff itself tasted even more depressing each time they brought out a new one. >You're currently eating "Rehabilitation Rhubarb" >It's just rhubarb. >You're eating rhubarb for breakfast out of a cardboard box. >Goddamn horses. >You read the description of the toys you got with it >"This is Crazy Caramel! Don't let him stay alone with Wife Windy, or Husband Hershel will go on a road trip with the cops again!" >Shake your head and finish your rhubarb >Suddenly notice the dead silence in your kitchen >Your clock doesn't tick, and there are no birds outside chirping. So you stand taking in an unnerving peacefulness for a few seconds >Realise that Fluttershy hasn't shown her face all morning >Maybe she moved on? >She would have woken you >Or at least tried one last rape attempt with her freaky ghost powers before she left >Grab your trusty jacket off the coat rack >Notice a small hole where the stitches hold the arm to the shoulder >Let out a groan >Guess it's a trip to Rarity's today >You needed to visit her anyway, you suppose. >Head out the door and walk towards the boutique >Take the familiar route through town, the Market. >Today is incredibly quiet, only a few stalls are set up >The few ponies that are set up are either looking very bored or asleep >See one such pony sat at her stall playing with a cucumber >No, you flithy animal. >God damn. >She's rolling it around on the stall counter >Walk on over >She sees you coming and her day looks like it was just made >Hastily she puts the cucumber back in a box Hope you weren't planning on selling that, Greenthumb. >She blushes fiercly >"N-not at all, Anon. So uhh. What brings you around here?" Nothing really. Just saw that not too many stalls were set up. Any luck today? >"A few customers. About 5 from my daily quota. H-how about you? Is your stall ok?" >Grin at her >She realises what she just said >"Oh. Umm. Yeah. Sorry." >She's like Fluttershy. >Without the rape Well it's good to hear that you're getting somewhere. Applejack and Carrot Top aren't around today so you have a good chance of selling lots of stuff! >She beams at that >"Yup! I sure hope so." >Then she starts shuffling her hooves around >"I like it when you visit me, Anon. It gives me motivation..." >Smile warmly That's alright, Greenthumb. I'm happy to help a friend. >At the word friend she displays a shadow of a wince Something wrong? >"Well umm. I was kinda hoping." >She clears her throat and stands up tall, looking you in the eye with determination you rarely see her show >"I want to go out with you to dinner." >You stare at her for a moment >As you expected, her composure quickly crumbles and she slumps again, looking at you sheepishly >"Uhh. Is that okay?" I'd love to, Greenthumb. >Grin to show her you mean it >And you do. >You haven't actually been interested in anyone around here, in the two years you've been in this world. >Fluttershy was off the list for obvious reasons, the rest of the Mane 6 were volatile, even Applejack with her workaholism. >Rarity was far more depraved than you imagined, and preferred the company of other mares, much to your shock >Twilight had OCD and took every little comment like a steak to the heart >Rainbow Dash had an ego the size of Canterlot, and no matter how hard you looked you couldn't see any cracks in it. Either she's masking her real self incredibly well or she's genuinely that self-centered. >Pinkie Pie was Hyper Active and surprisingly scary when she wanted to be >She once locked you in her basement and forcefed you delicious candy for an hour because you didn't feel like eating much >Lovely mare, but utterly terrifying. >Applejack, as you mentioned, was always working. You were amazed that she ever found time to spend with her friends. And her brother was incredibly protective of her around stallions. >On top of all that, none of the Mane 6, bar Fluttershy, had ever shown an interest in you. >Maybe Rainbow Dash when she got drunk, but her reasons for trying to get you in bed was so she could claim that she once "Fucked an entire species" >Technically she was right, but you weren't in the mood after she went on about how mastering your dick would be one SMALL step for ponykind >Fucking Rainbow Dash. >You wanted someone normal >Someone down to earth >Simple >Nice >Funny in their own little way >No freaky magic powers or wings >Just someone normal to spend and enjoy time with >Greenthumb might be that mare >She looks up at you with a innocent smile >"Oh wow, uhh... Great! Sooo Where should we meet?" Right here? It's easier. >"Sounds good! Tomorrow? If you're not busy, that is." I can make room. >With that you say your goodbyes and you leave her looking more awake and motivated than ever >You hope things go ok. It would be nice to be with someone who doesn't want to rape you. >You pass a shop window and look at the wares >That cake looks awfully good >You peer closer >Suddenly the icing takes on a new shape >Fluttershy's face >And she looks pissed >You take a step back and shake your head >Looking again, the icing is normal. >Must have all been in your head >You HAVE been thinking about her a lot today. Maybe you're just tired. >Putting her out of your mind, you walk towards Rarity's shop. >One uneventful walk later you march through the door, the little bell above the shop door telling her of your arrival >Her head pokes out from behind a dress rack >"Oh, Anon, dear! How are you?" >She gets busy fussing over you, checking your clothes and hair style >"You simply must get a trim, it's getting too long. Most unbefitting for a man such as yourself." >She goes on about how you always suited shorter hair while you wait for her to stop Rarity- >"And your pants! They're a mess! Have you been... Painting with them on?!" Rar- >"Ugh, your jacket is also filthy, do you wear that everywhere you go?" Rarity. >"I ah- yes, darling?" This is about my jacket. Could you please mend this bit for me? >You point out the broken stitches and the hole >"Ahh, say no more, Anon. say no more." >She takes the jacket from you and trots into the backroom, telling you to wait right there. >Stand around, inspecting the room for a few minutes >Feel a slight breeze from behind >Turn to see if it was a window >All the windows are shut. As is the door. >You feel a sense of dread >Hear a faint noise behind you, like a breathe on your neck >Spin around >Nothing there >Hear Rarity singing to herself in the next room >"I'll not be a moment, Anonymous! This seam is giving me a bit of trouble but not to worry!" >Another draft blows past you >Stay perfectly still >"I'm not very happy, Anon." >That wasn't Rarity. >That was Fluttershy. >Turn to face her >She's not there >Whisper so that Rarity doesn't hear you Fluttershy? Where are you? >No reply >The breeze has also stopped >You're well and truly alone in the room >Shortly after, Rarity skips back into the room looking pleased with herself >"Those humans know how to stitch! I've never had to match such precise hoofwork before! But I did it!" Thank you so much, Rarity. Really. This jacket means a lot to me. >"Oh well I know all about that. But you never told me much about the fashion scene there... Pity. I'd love to know how you manage to do such a flawless job with these jackets." >The jacket in question was something cheap you picked up back home >Machine stitched, naturally. Far more precise than what Rarity uses. >You leave the boutique, happy that your jacket lives to fight another day >But Fluttershy is now on your mind more than ever >Not happy? About what? >Were you really not seeing things in that shop window? >You decide to head home, seeing as you haven't got much to do but relax today. >Actually, a few books might be in order >Take a detour to the Library to pick some up >Knock on the door, which is opened by Spike >"Heya, Anon! Here for Twilight?" Nah. Just books. Mind if I look around? >"Sure, whatever. Come on in." >You step through and start searching through the non-fiction section >'Ghosts, Goblins and Ghoulish creatures' >'1001 ways to spot a Ghost' >'Ghost stories for foals' >'How to tell if you have pissed off the supernatural' >Well thanks, universe. I appreciate it. >Hear a thud behind you >Turn to see Twilight faceplanted at the bottom of the stairs >She speaks, her voice muffled by the floor >"I heard your voice. Came to see how you are" That's nice, dear. >Turn back around and keep browsing >Twilight picks herself up and walks up behind you >"Sooo. Fiction. Wouldn't you rather read something nicer? Like the social/cultural impact of modern magics in the last century?" >Roll your eyes Just a quick story, Twilight. Something to uhh, take my mind off a few things. >"How about this?" >'"You're a dead pony" - And other spooky tales' Really, Twilight? Really? >She blushes >"Well you are sorta searching through the horror section of the Library" >Realise that you are >Now you feel silly >Twilight helps you sift through some more books until you settle on a few, a romantic tale about two stallions called 'Horseback Peak', an adventure/comedy called 'World of Discs' and a tragedy called 'in the place of a parent'. >Satisfied with your choices, you head on back. >Your walk is quiet. You wave to a few ponies and enjoy the heat of the sun on the back of your neck >Everything is peaceful. Way too peaceful >It scares you >Maybe you're just being paranoid >So Fluttershy isn't gone, big deal. You can cope with her >Right? >She's undead, you can't touch her, she can touch you, she can follow you anywhere you go, and she was a rapist in life. >You'll be fine >You feel yourself sweating as you near your door >You've got nothing to be scared of >You fumble to put your keys in the lock >Nothing to worry about >Turn the key >Nothing to fear >Push open the door >Nothing to lose any sleep over >Your house is silent >Stand looking into the gloomy dark >All your curtains are shut, you must have not opened them this morning >Yeah, that must be it. >You quiver slightly as you walk through the door >The walls seem to be closing in >Are they closing in? >No they're still >WHAT WAS THAT >Oh it was the clock >You grip the books in your hands as hard as you can >Your fingers are going numb from the strain >Glance at yourself in the mirror >Stop shaking and stare >Your face is pale and sweat is making your forehead glisten >Breathe deeply Ok Anon. It's okay. Calm down >Manage a smile >The nervous human in the mirror replicates it It's just your house >"It's mine too" >Scream like a little girl >Drop the books >Run upstairs as fast as you can and barricade yourself in the bathroom >Fluttershy appears in the bathtub and pulls back the curtain, wearing a showercap and holding a louffa >You scream again and fumble with the door >Managing to throw it open and slightly damage the hinges you quite literally throw yourself downstairs >You hit several steps on the way down and bounce slightly in a comedic fashion >Several choice words escape your lips as you tumble >Hitting the bottom you groan >Turn your head to the left >Fluttershy is led on her side next to you, her head rested on a hoof >She's glaring at you >Slowly pick yourself up and drag yourself to the still open door, which seems to be a beacon of light in the darkness you find yourself in >Now's not the time for poetic metaphors, brain >Sorry >You rest a hand on the doorframe and gasp for breath >A pair of supernaturally strong limbs grab your left leg and pull >You struggle and grip the edge of the doorframe, kicking out against the monster pulling you back >Unable to hold on any longer, you lose your grip and get dragged backwards along the floor back into your house, screaming the whole time >You flail your hands in panic as your salvation slips away from you >As you scream a ghostly force slams the door shut before your eyes and locks it >Fluttershy's been busy >In total darkness you lie on the floor >Every shadow seems enhanced by your fear >You twitch madly and sit up, scrambling over to a wall and wrapping your arms around your legs F-fluttershy? Are you there? >A hollow sounding voice answers you, coming from the very walls themselves >"Of course I'm here, Anon. I'll always be here." >You shudder Was that you today? In the cake and Rarity's shop? Why are you doing this? >"Because I love you, Anon. I always have." That's no reason to follow me everywhere. But why are you so angry? Because I left the house? >"Oh no, not at all. You can do WHAT you want." >You don't like the emphasis on 'What' >"I just don't like you doing WHO you want." >Uh oh. She can't mean- >"I watched you flirt with that simple little stand owner today, Anon. I saw you laughing and chatting like she's your lover. Do you love her Anon?" What? No! I just like her as a friend- >"LIAR!" >At that moment Fluttershy explodes out of the wall, her face contorted with the sort of rage you'd see in the Devil himself >She shrieks like a banshee and flies straight through you into the wall you're sat against >"I SAW YOU! DON'T LIE TO ME! I SEE EVERYTHING YOU DO!" B-but what about other ponies seeing you? Don't yo- >The house shakes, pictures on a nearby shelf shuffling around from the quake >You slam your mouth shut and stay quiet >"There's more to being a spirit than meets the eye, honey." I-I'm n-not your... honey... >Whoops >Fluttershy rises out of the floorboards infront of you, her face a frightening combination of calm serenity and unbridled rage >She smiles sweetly at you and strokes your face, her eyes narrowed and mouth slightly open >She breathes out as her hoof touches your cheek >You recoil slightly from how ice cold it was >Fluttershy pauses, then continues to stroke you >"Hush now, my little Anon. I'll keep you safe from that horrible mare. Don't you worry. I'm not just confined to this house." >With that she floats through the wall into the outside world, humming an innocent tune NO! >You stagger to your feet and run at the front door, trying desperately to pull the lock back >It won't budge >You slam your shoulder into the door over and over again, the solid wood harming you more than you're harming it >Gripping your hair you scream in frustration >Your mind wanders to what that psychopath might do to Greenthumb >She won't even see it coming >You roar again and run into the living room >You look around for anything >See the window >It's a large window designed to let the sun in and give you something to look through as you read >Single glazed glass >Pick up a book and hurl it at the glass >The book bounces right off, not leaving a scratch >Shocked, you inspect the glass >You press a hand to it >A faint blue aura meets your hand, rendering it unable to actually touch the glass >You push your palm against it as hard as you can >The aura gives in slightly, and you're able to touch the glass itself, but as soon as you relax, the aura bounces back against your hand >You need something bigger >Look around >You eyes settle on your beloved reading chair >You strain yourself and pick up the armchair >Struggling to hold it, let alone walk, you stumble towards the window and with all your strength, hurl it straight at the glass >The chair slams against the glass and flies straight through, you quickly follow it out and watch from outside as the blue barrier quickly reforms over your exit >Look at the chair >The fabric is ruined >Mutter a quick sorry to your faithful companion throughout your literary crusade in this world and set off running towards Ponyville >You are Greenthumb >Today was absolutely brilliant >Not only did you manage to sell 5 bits over your quota, you got a date with Anon! >You giggle slightly as you walk into your kitchen and set your bits on the counter >Smile proudly at it >Look around your house for a while in content silence >It's a small house >Single story, one bedroom, kitchen and a bathroom. >But it's yours >And that's all that matters >But soon, maybe it will be more than yours... >You blush slightly and smile even harder at the thought >You trot into your bedroom and pick up a magazine >Some fashion mag full of clothes you'll never afford >But it's nice to look at the pictures >Stare wistfully at a beautiful dress in the top right of the page >You'll need something to wear for your date with Anon >Walk over to your closet and pull out your special 'going out' piece you saved for special occasions >A simple little thing, it goes with your blue coat quite well >You gasp as you pull it out >Tears begin to form >The whole thing is utterly shredded >Pieces of fabric drop from the wreck and you fight to hold back your tears >Slump to the floor, clutching the remains of the dress >You sob quietly for a while >Stare at it once more >You can't even imagine how this could have happened >Unless somep0ny has been in your house... >You eyes widen >Run to your safebox under your bed, where your savings are >Punch in the combination and open the lid >A single bit lies inside >Gawp at it >You had saved over 55 bits over the last 3 months >The tears begin to flow once more and you miserably close the box >Why you? >As the tears continue to fall, you walk into your kitchen where your sack of bits is >It's not on the counter >It's on the kitchen table >And a mare is sat at the table looking straight at you >But not just any mare >The Element of Kindness herself, Fluttershy. !highlight!--- !highlight!Part 4 !highlight!--- >Fluttershy is glaring at you >And you don't know how to react >Last you heard, she was dead. Killing in the storm, in Anon's house no less >You try to take a step back but she's fixing you with a look so violent you find yourself paralyzed with fear >She floats off the chair she was "sat" on and hovers through the table towards you, not even using her wings >You stammer to find words, but can't think of anything to say >The whole situation is just so surreal >You never even spoke to Fluttershy in life. And only knew about her because of her connection to the Elements of Harmony >She stops moving inches from your face, her ghostly presence filling you with dread >She narrows her eyes even harder >You still can't move, a thousand questions running through your mind, but one standing out over the others W-why are you here? >Fluttershy smiles >"You took something very precious from me." >That can't be right. You've never even met her before now. Have I? I d-don't understand! >You start crying again >This is too much, the dress, the money, the ghost of a dead celebrity accusing you of theft >You just want a quiet life, is that too much to ask for? >Fluttershy growls >"Yes. You did. Anon doesn't want you. He never has! He only loves me and is only acting like this towards you because my death has made him confused" >There is suddenly a loud bang, scaring the life out of you and the death out of Fluttershy >A stern voice is heard and a figure steps out from behind a corner >"Ah. There you are." >You are Anon >You had only visited Greenthumb's house once, when you had to fix her leaking roof. >That's how you became so well aquainted with one another >You can read Fluttershy like a book, so you know where she would go. Straight to the source of the "problem" and try and remove it. >She had done the same in the past. >Once she found out where you were getting your locks from for all your windows and doors, she actually took up Law, became a Lawyer, found out that the company supplying your locks were dodging taxes, sued them, ran them out of business, and used the funds she had aquirred from it to fund her fetish-guessing attempts and forcing you to find another place to buy locks >All in the space of 2 months. >Admirable determination >But now she's gone too far, and is probably going to hurt Greenthumb >You'd like her not to, so that's why you are now about to shoulder charge Greenthumb's front door. >You brace yourself for the impact and put everything into your weight as you slam right into it >The door gives way and you break the locks restraining it inside >It flies open inwards and you come to a halt inside Greenthumb's house >Hearing two shocked cries from the kitchen you turn around a corner Ah. There you are. >Fluttershy flies up to you >"Anon! D-dear! Look! I found that horrible pony trying to take you from me! We can take care of her together!" >You look at her sadly. No more rage. Just sadness >She cocks her head in confusion at you >"Umm. What's wrong?" >Shake your head What happened to you, Fluttershy? You used to be so sweet, the Element of KINDNESS, for fucks sake. >"W-what do you mean? I'm s-showing you how much I love you! I'm removing any problems in our relationship!" >She desperately starts stroking your face >Your expression doesn't change, you keep staring through her with nothing but pity >Fluttershy's attitude takes on a more violent edge >"LOOK AT ME, ANONYMOUS." >You comply I remember when I first got here. Do you? >This takes her by surprise >"Of course I remember!" I remember being cold and scared, and alone in this terrifying world. >"Oh you were so miserable! I simply had to take you in!" >She smiles at the memories, her face becoming more gentle by the second >You continue Do you remember those nights we spent in your cottage? I was too afraid to go outside and you understood, gave me as much time as I needed? >"W-well it would have been mean to force you..." Remember when, after about two weeks, I had finally worked up the courage to go out into the community, with you at my side, encouraging me? >Fluttershy sits down on the floor, looking up at you, clearly entranced by memories of her past life >You look her straight in the face and carry on I remember. I also remember when I moved into my own house. And from then on, every morning, without fail, come rain or shine, you would be there. >Fluttershy sniffs and you see more of those strange "ghost tears" form I would always expect you at my door, every morning. You would always try to "guess my fetish" >You wave your hands around to emphasise it >Fluttershy giggles >"I-it was so I could get you to love me..." And did I ever? After all those times, after a year and a half of fetish guessing and oggling at my body, did I ever once express my love for you? >She looks sad again >"No... You didn't..." Do you want to know why? >She peers up at you through her ethereal mane Because I didn't need to. You were like family to me. >Fluttershy's lip quivers slightly You were like a creepy sister. And I knew that even though you did everything in your power to molest and 'seduce' me, I could, for some reason, count on you. >Fluttershy is now openly crying, tears streaking down her face and hitting the floor, despite them fading the moment they make contact with the wooden surface Do you have any idea what it did to me, your death? >Fluttershy is silent And then you come back from the dead. I think I've gone completely mad. Driven insane by the grief of your passing. The death of someone who only wants my dick, and yet I came to see as my first friend in this world. >She is shaking her head and weeping >"I-I just w-wanted to s-see you again..." >Crouch down and try to touch her face >Your hand goes straight through Fluttershy, let me touch you. >She solidifies her face and you gently touch it >She leans into your hand, rubbing her freezing cold cheek against the warmth of your hand Fluttershy. You were my friend. And then you defy death itself to see me. That speaks volumes, but then you start acting crazier than usual. You trap me in my own house and act obsessive. It scared me, Fluttershy. >She gazes at you mournfully You seemed so happy, Fluttershy. Then you start becoming so distant. Like the very thing that made you Fluttershy was sucked out of you. >"M...my animals..." Yes? >"They meant the world to me... And t-then you tell me t-that they won't like me anymore if I show myself, and you were right... They were so scared of me..." >She sniffs, tears still dropping from her eyes >"A-and then, I went to see Applejack, and she thought I was a vengeful spirit. She chased me off her farm, screaming at me." >You carry on stroking her face, your hand going numb from the cold >"So then I realise, you're the only thing I have left... I'm so scared, Anon." >You pull her into a hug, her body chilling you to the core, but you don't care. >You just want her nightmare to be over It's ok, Fluttershy >"N-no Animals, no friends, no home, no life. A-all I have is you. A-and you tried to move on, tried to see G-greenthumb and it made me so angry..." >You glance at Greenthumb, who is watching you both with a sad look on her face >She nods at you, as if to encourage you to keep going >You look back down at the spectral pony in your arms, and you keep stroking her mane >Your fingers seem to pass straight through it, yet you can feel it exciting the tips of your fingers I think it's time for you to move on, Fluttershy. You're not happy here. >She looks up at you >And smiles slightly >"I love you, Anon. I really do." >You smile weakly back at her >"But I just..." >You squeeze her >"Want this..." >She sniffs >"To end..." >And just like that, she disappears, seemigly fading into nothing >Your arms collapse inwards slightly, the resistance keeping them back disipating >You sit there on the floor in shock for a second, then sigh >She's gone. For good. >Greenthumb trots over to you >She places a hoof on your shoulder >Look at her and pull her into a hug >You both hold each other in silence for what seems like forever, the world seemingly stood still, waiting for you to have your moment >Greenthumb speaks up >"She's happier now, isn't she?" She's at peace. >2 weeks later >You told the Mane 6, now the Mane 5, what happened. >Applejack's tough-girl approach shattered when she learned that Fluttershy was actually trying to talk to her when she went to Applejack's farm, and not a spirit from beyond the grave come to haunt her >Twilight was shocked that Fluttershy hadn't gone for good, like she'd thought, and asked questions about her. >You answered what you could, and you all went out for dinner in honour of the sweetest pony in Ponyville >You sat and ate in silence throughout the meal. The other 5 had never believed you about Fluttershy's various antics. They just thought it was cute >You let out a short laugh at the memory of Fluttershy performing a choreographed swordfight for you on your front doorstep while you laughed and drank applejuice on sunny morning. >Twilight looks at you and raises an eyebrow >"Something wrong, Anon?" >Look at her, sipping your drink while the others laugh and joke about what they and Fluttershy used to do together Nothing. Just memories. >She smiles and gets back to talking to Rarity >Things were going pretty good for you nowadays >You and Greenthumb hit it off amazingly well. You both laugh at each other's terrible jokes and think that Celestia's rear is too wide. A match made in heaven >She moved into your house because it was big enough for the two of you. >You still remember the look of awe on her face as she stepped through the door, looked at the stairs leading to the second floor and said: "All THIS is YOURS?!" >On most days you both head out to your respective jobs. Greenthumb used your entire backgarden as a vegetable patch, and you even got Applejack to share some of her trade secrets to help her >Your reputation just keeps on growing, and you soon found yourself with a schedule, something you'd never had before then. >As for Angel bunny, well. You keep him supplied with food, he keeps the animals off Greenthumb's garden. Turns out Rabbits are born negotiators. Who knew? >You are just finishing up trimming a hedge for a family on the outskirts of Ponyville >They give their thanks and some bits for your troubles, and with a wave you set off back home >On your way back you make the same detour you have for the last 2 weeks. >You walk up a short hill and find yourself surrounded by large slabs of stone with names engraved in them >You keep walking until you reach a small one under a tree, a few yellow roses rest at it's base >'Fluttershy - Element of Kindness - Saviour of Equestria - Friend' >You smile >Ponies could be cheesy at times. But that cheesiness had grown on you >You stand in silent contemplation and respect for a while >Eventually you look towards the sun, that's heading towards the horizon, basking all in it's influence in a deep orange >You lean down and pat the gravestone with a hand >Smile >Walk past it and down the hill towards your home, and Greenthumb >You look back towards the tree and shake your head Fucking Fluttershy. The End.
