>after cracking the safe combo to open the porch doors, green clakd her way out onto the concrete porch >the air was draftily crisp, only a few degrees warmer than it was inside >gusts of a soothing breeze scooting the temperature up and down with help from the 4 PM sun >the sun's light slowly transitioning from a sharp white into a glowing amber >pushing the shadows of the trees farther away with every minute >and sizzling the left side of greens black body, who stood silently amongst the gentle noises of the woods >an opened lawn chair was off to the right, weathered and sunbleached from many seasons >tempting her to partake in the laziness that ate up a whole day >green elected to stay put, sinking her torso between her crutches and letting her shoulders ride up and relax >not a single sound or movement interrupted the still life painting in front of her >it was so quiet, that green could hear the deep ringing in her ears, bringing with it a blank, meditative state of mind >as green adjusted her position, the slight scrape of her hoodie against the rubber crutch bridge was loud and clear >even the sound of her breathing was jumping out of the background >'im bored. lets go hoop.' popped into the front of greens head >a deep, humming wave of noise started behind green >growing louder and louder as the smallest of leaves started to flail around >as the cascade of noise engulfed the woods, a gentle breeze flowed around the black mare >blowing the drawstrings of her hoodie and the tips of her mane around >and with all that noise came only the smallest of sways in the spruce trees >so calm and serene a place does Morning Glory call home. >"Hellooooo Green FN~" >green smoothly turned her head to her left >"Hi~" green said cutely, "Its so peaceful out here" >morning mozied up alongside her marefriend, still on all 3s and 2s >"just me and Bighoof" morning answered coyly >green returned to absentmindedly staring up into the trees >her uncovered head tilted up and to the right >morning taking full note of the yellow sun rays hitting the side of her face, painting it in a majestic light >piercing green eyes pointed longingly into the trees, and an ever so slight wave in her mane from the passing breeze >so beautiful, but so rare a sight for a mare who always wears a hat or keeps her hood up >if only she knew... >green turned her face to look morning glory in the eyes, her neutral expression moving into a warm, endearing smile as she tilted her head >morning's pearly white fur was shining under the sun, casting a spotlight away from green's eyes while the near half of her body was left in a neutral orange >her huge, purple eyes ever so slightly darting around, studying every part of green's face >two spitting images of green staring back at her in both of morning's pupils >the two curls of her mane gently swayed back and forth in the breeze, its bright shade of purple still prominent under the golden sunlight >morning's shadow stretched underneath, merging with green's and following it into the trees >she did a long blink, and tilted her head to the right as her bottom eyelids started to creep upward >unable to resist creasing the sides of her mouth up into a deeply joyful smile >the smallest of squeaks wrung its way out of morning's throat as her face beamed with affection >green similarly felt her throat choke up with a creaky squeak >before finally breaking eye contact with a wholehearted, giggly laugh >morning following suit, laughing genuinely at the nonexistant punchline >green blushfully turned her head one way and eyes the other, a force of habit from being under a hood >a beaming grin taking over her face >"you ever hunt any timberwolves in there?" green asked playfully >"id let you show me how~" morning egged her on >"start a nice cozy little fire~" >"you would in the summer time~" >"id freeze to death if it werent for you~" >morning giggled >"youd be a greensicle~" >green laughed audibly, morning joining in until they breathed it off >"ahhh celestia" >the two mares lazily focused on a common point in the trees >a buzzing engine noise tickled both of their ears, downshifting as it came closer and made itself known >green's brain turned on, curiously turning her head and looking to the left >the engine's pitch rose and fell, sometimes holding steady as it wormed and echoed its way through the mountains, rapidly approaching the two mares' mountain home >and with a loud downshift, the noise jumped over the hilltop, sweeping across the homestead with the deep, powerful thumps of a single cylinder 4 stroke >green tracked the noise from left to right as it crept behind the next hilltop and into the mountains >"DRZ with a slip on. nice." >the leaves rustled in response >"you wanna see the outfit i was telling you about?" morning turned on her saucy voice >greens ears perked up >"sure" >"then come on in~" morning turned around and went back inside, petting the full length of greens body with her wing as she walked by >greens exit was a lot less smooth >having to do a 3 point turn with her crutches and an awkward hop to the side with her good rear leg >and about 2 minutes later, green had made her way back inside and slid the door closed with a free wing >the house felt as empty as it did all day >"morning?" green called out to anypony >"in here!" a voice carried out of her (well, theirs now) bedroom, "gimme two seconds" >green instinctively harumphed, waiting was the bane of her existance >until finally, the clopping of four high heels caught greens ears >green watched the doorway, expecting something fabulous >until mornings head poked out sneakily around the doorframe, a green rein setup tied around her head and muzzle >morning shot green a mischevious and saucy smile >green felt some heat between her back legs as morning did a posing face and started to swagger out of the room >swishing her butt and tail side to side to shake up the black and white french maid outift that adorned her body
