“Ugh, I should have greased that wheel ages ago...” Moondancer growled as she pulled her wagon through town. “Stupid...thing!” The scholar moaned as she gave another hard tug. Her own fault for neglecting her wagon and overloading it. Ponies walked by her as Moondancer continued to pull, sweating as her haul inched to her home. The front half was piled high with books of all shapes and sized. Small books, massive books, hard cover, paperback and even a few scrolls weighed down the squeaky cart. Food of all kinds were spilling out of the back. Boxes of sweets, piles of pies, tons of cupcakes and far too much pocky and cookies from the local import shop made the trip take twice as long. “Finally!” Moondancer sighed as she pushed her wagon next to her home. Her magic was quick to pile everything in her living room. “Just gotta remember to grease those rusty wheels next time!” Moondancer scribbled a note for later, then turned back to her impressive haul. “Books! Books as far as the eye can see! With Starswirl's works published for the masses, how could I NOT buy them all at once?” The nerdy unicorn hopped onto her couch with glee as she reached over for the first tome. “Wow, impressive.” she muttered as her magic reached out for one of her many boxes of pocky sticks. The crunchy, chocolate covered treats disappeared into her mouth as she chewed on them while she read. She couldn't help but smile as she relaxed the only way she knew how. Before she knew it, the first chapter was done and so was the pocky. “Hmmm...needs a little more to it.” Moondancer muttered. Her magic lashed out at a giant tub of frosting as she grabbed a particular scroll. “There we go. Now this makes sense.” She grinned while dipping a few of the thin cookies into the frosting. The unicorn moaned in delight as her cross reference work was on point while the pocky filled up her empty stomach. Soon, both the book and the pocky were gone. Discarded and forgotten about. Moondancer was already busying herself with another thick tome and a fresh batch of cupcakes. Her reading was far too important to properly eat, leaving the unicorn's face covered with frosting and sprinkles. “Bleh...too much glaze.” Moondancer whined as she brushed a bit of sugar off her recent book. The doughnuts were almost gone yet she still needed more to concentrate. She pulled herself away from reading long enough to spot the next box and slid them over. “As long as it stays out of my new books, I guess it's fine.” A deep gurgle filled the room as another pie disappeared. Moondancer's tummy was swollen and bloated from her constant snacking. She slid over to her side and let out a tense breath before glancing back at her book. “Dang it...where was I?” Her magic was concentrated on her stomach and the next bite. Globs of frosting straight from the tub pushed their way into Moondancer's mouth all while her eyes never lost sight of her work. Her pale gut let out another angry gurgle. A very harsh, stern growl of protest. Before Moondancer could think, a massive bubble of gas launched itself up her throat. BUUUURRRRPPP She sighed in relief. “Ahh, there we go.” A smile graced her lips as she fished another box of pocky from her stash. Moondancer didn't bother to ration them, cramming several in her mouth and drooling from the crunchy snack. A bottle of soda was pushed to her lips and completely drained in a gluttonous display all at once. Her tummy sloshed and gurgled as the bubbly mix scrambled to find empty space in her distended stomach. Another belch left her lips as the unicorn continued to read. Her noisy stomach could do nothing but struggle to digest as another pie was yanked from the stash. The empty tin clattered against the other discarded scraps around the couch. Other ponies would have cringed at the messy display but Moondancer was too distracted to notice the pile of trash climbing up to the ceiling. The pegasus yawned as a wandering match ignited all the candles in her home. “Is it that late already? Time for the secret weapon, I guess.” Without even looking, Moondancer's magic gripped a twenty four pack of energy drinks from the dwindling pile of food as she wandered towards a well used coffee machine. Moondancer dumped a gigantic spoonful of extra strength coffee into the machine and started it up. The smell of coffee brewing perked her up a tiny bit as she cracked open every can of energy drink at once. “Yessss....the ultimate power to study.” She grinned as she poured the entire pack of energy drinks straight into the pot of coffee. “Can't forget the creamer...” Moondancer giggled as she poured and poured the fattening cream into her drink. She licked her lips before chugging it all down at once, not at all caring that her tummy was bulging from under her shirt. Moondancer's eyes were wide open as she returned to her books. The caffeine overdose strengthened her resolve, sharpened her focus and sped up the gurgling in her tummy. Her hours of gorging and eating felt like a lifetime ago as her stomach demanded something to eat. The unicorn studied and ate. Ate and studied. The growing piles of trash were the only clues to her gluttony besides the thick, heavy gut wobbling with each belch. Moondancer gave her body no thought even as the millions of calories stuffed inside her body softened her face, rounded her tummy and ballooned her rear. “Oh no....no no no!” Moondancer cried out. She finally turned away from her books to discover the most horrible thing! “My snacks! Who took all my snacks!” The oblivious mare could have looked down at her belly and easily found the answer. Moondancer had always been a chubby mare but now she was full blown fat. A massive gut swung under her legs as she paced around the room. Her rear jiggled as she looked around every wrapper. Thick, meaty thighs rubbed together as she struggled to find her lost food. “Pizza time....and sushi delivery!” Moondancer smirked as she used her magic to send her orders to several places at once. Her stomach gurgled as it demanded food, the only distraction Moondancer had from her reading. A team of delivery colts all left scorned as the fatty yanked her food from their grasp. Each and every one complained of the lack of tip as Moondancer relished in her new delights. The cheesy pizza went well with studies of magical ley lines and the fatty tuna sushi was wonderful with time travel spells. The candles were nearly burned through as the sun came up. Moondancer gasped as she grabbed a scroll nearby and scribbled a quick note. “Gotta tell Twilight. This could be a new discovery!” With a quick puff of smoke, Moondancer sent out her message. “Moondancer? Hellooooo?” Spike knocked again. He looked over to Twilight to see concern painted over her face. “Think she is home?” “She said to come right away...I don't think she would leave.” Twilight turned the knob with her magic and stepped inside. Her eyes took a minute to adjust to the dim light of the living room. “Oh no! Moondancer!” Twilight rushed in to see Moondancer laying on the floor. “Moondancer? Are you okay?” The pale unicorn moaned as her eyes slowly opened. “Mmm....five more minutes.” She groaned. “Oh thank goodness...” Twilight sighed. Her eyes widened as she looked at Moondancer carefully, biting her lip as she realized what had happened. “Oh jeez...not again.” Twilight brushed Moondancer's stomach and winced as a sticky coating of frosting covered her hoof. The soft jiggle forced Moondancer's stomach to grumble and growl, prompting the sleepy mare to shoot up and belch right into Twilight's face. “I told you it was frosting on that scroll.” Spike sighed as he slipped into cleaner mode. He struggled to hop around the giant piles of trash while looking for the trash bags. “Let's get you into a shower and into bed. This little revelation can wait a few hours.” Twilight rolled her eyes as she helped Moondancer to her hooves. Another belch left Moondancer's mouth as she half waddled, half pulled along by Twilight.
