Remember when I said that I would never abandon a story? Well, turns out I'm a big fat liar(and a phony) I tried to write this green back around possibly 2016 during Halloween and I tried to write a scary/comedy green about Princess Twilight Sparkle getting possessed by a Mexican ghost who would shout obscenities in Spanish. I was really taking the piss out of it and it felt like it was going to be more funny than spooky so I decided to kill it before I could get too deep into it. I kept the word doc for it so this is what I have of it. I doubt I'll ever come back and finish this but never say never I suppose. >It's Halloween! >And you know what that means... >Absolutely nothing. >You're too old for stuff like that. >Ghosts. >Skeletons. >Spooky stuff. >All a bunch of horse shit. >If you do say so yourself. >Sure it was all fun and candy when you were a kid. >But you're not a kid anymore. >You're a man! >Well, not by much. >You're still just a shitty teenager. >Be Anon. >And it's Halloween night. >Not much is going on. >You've obviously stopped trick or treating long ago. >So now you're waiting for your friends. >While you do so, you decide to indulge in your new favorite Halloween activity. >Sit by the sidewalk near your house. >Hiding in a hallowed out bush and jumping and screaming at kids who walk by and don't take notice of you. >Good stuff. >The kids get a good scare. >A lot of them cry. >Parents yell at you. >Not your problem. >Sometimes the kids drop theirs bags and run away. >Free candy. >This year you managed to get two bags of candy from poor kids who didn't have the wherewithal to notice an out of place badly built fake plant. >Sitting on your front porch. >Looking through the bags. >You hear a voice call out to you. >”Hey Anon!” >A group of girls are walking along the sidewalk of your home. >Sunset Shimmer. >AppleJack. >Pinkie Pie >And... Twilight Sparkle? >They all seem to be dressed up for the occasion. >Sunset is dressed like a skeleton. >Wearing a skintight black leotard with a skeleton print on it and a cheap skull mask. >The leotard showing off her curves. >unf >AppleJack looks like a hobo. >No seriously, you're not sure what she is supposed to be. >Her clothes are all raggedy and dirty. >Her nose has red coloring around it. >Like she's snorted too much cocaine >You're gonna need to ask about that later. >Pinkie Pie is dressed in some purple striped spandex with some fur boots and gloves. >Also purple cat ears and drawn on whiskers on her cheeks. >Looks to be the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland. >Finally Twilight is wearing a blue wizard hat and blue cape. >A wizard, or witch. >Or whatever. >Either way they're all dressed for the night. >And here you are sitting around with some bags of candy you stole from some kids. “Hey?” >The others give their hellos. >”Hiya Nonny!” >”Howdy!” >”Hello.” >It was then you notice Sunset had something tucked under her arm. >They all walk up to your porch and stand at the foot of it. “Why are you all dressed up?” >Pinkie begins to jump up and down. >”Why aren't ya dressed up Anon? It's Halloween!” >AppleJack adds to the conversation. >It's obvious why you're not. “Well, I am dressed up!” >You get up from our seat. >And present yourself. “See?” >Everyone just states at you. >”What're ya supposed ta be?” >AJ asks >You ponder for a moment. “A teenager who doesn't care?” >Nobody seems amused. >”Well I guess if you don't care for Halloween, then perhaps you wouldn't care if we invited you to Pinkie's Halloween party later tonight!” >Sunset goads. “A party? Later tonight?” >Seems like thing are looking up. >”Yesserie! I'm throwing a costume party later tonight!” >Pinkie adds in her overly energetic way. “Are costumes? Mandatory?” >You had to ask. >”Of course silly! A costume party without costumes is just a party!” >Right. “Well, what if I were to grab a plain white sheet and cut eye holes and go as a ghost?” >A few giggles from the group. >”Good enough for me!” >Sunset stands ahead of the rest. >”First, we want to take Twilight over and have a little fun first.” >Fun? >She then shows you what was tucked under her arm. >A Ouija board? >You lift an eyebrow in suspicion. “Really guys? The hell is this all about?” >Twilight then stands next to Sunset. >”I've been doing a lot of reading on your world's magic and mysticism, and I came across this simple ritual piece. I think being able to contact the dead seems like a fascinating experience!” >You just continue to stare at them. >Pinkie then chimes in again. >”We're gonna go to a cemetery and try to summon a spooooky ghost for Twilight! We were wondering if you wanted to join us!” >She waves her hands at you “You do know that's all a bunch of superstitious crap, right?” >Sunset crosses her arms. >”Aww, come on Anon, it'll be fun. Unless, you know, you're scared of cemeteries.” >Cute. “There a reason why you chose me and not any of the others?“ >They all look at each other. >And kinda shrug. >”You don't look too busy right about now. The party doesn't start until much later tonight and we kind of need one more person for this.” >Sunset explains to you. >She then gets closer to you and says to you in a hushed manor in your ear. >”Besides, Twilight doesn't know it's a kids thing, she's from Equestria and magic is very much a real thing there. Just play along and let her have her fun” >Equestria? >Magic real? >What kind of shit is she going on about? >Is this supposed to be some different Twilight Sparkle or something? >Different from the sperg transfer from Crystal Prep? >Come to think of it. >The few words she has said were less... awkward than you remember from her. >Whatever for now. >Then an idea pops into your head. “You know what? Sure, why the hell not?” >Everyone's faces light up at your decision. >You smile at everyone. “Let me go grab my 'costume' first!” >You rush inside and grab a spare plain white sheet >You punch some eye holes in it >Boom, your ghost costume is complete. >You meet up with everyone back out front. “Alright ready to go!” >Before you step off your porch, you grab the bags of candy and toss it to Pinkie. “Charitable donation from some diabetic kids for the party.” >Pinkie looks pleased at the stash of sweets. >The other three >Not so much. >You toss the sheet over yourself and align the holes with your eyes and you all head off to the cemetery. >Along the way AppleJack asks. >”So why aren't ya into Halloween anymore?” >You shrug your shoulders. “Don't know, why are you still into it?” >”Ah got me a little sister who's still a youngin' she still loves it and ah take her out every year.” >You nod. “And the hobo get up is a usual thing?” >She glares at you >”Ah'm a scarecrow!” >You nod your head “Could've fooled me.” >You tell her with a sweet smile. >Hoping to not get clocked in the face. >Thankfully, nothing comes. >You look to her. >She just has puffed out cheeks. >You finally make it to the cemetery. >It's the older one near the outskirts. >Which means no street lights to aid in any kind of light >You're guessing it adds to the spookiness. >They seemed to have came prepared. >Sunset gives out flashlights to you and AJ. >As you traverse across the grounds. You see lots of broken gravestones. >Large patches of tall grass that cover some of the others as well. >This place looks to be severely under attended. >In fact >Now that you think about it. >This is the abandoned cemetery. >Lovely. >Looking at what gravestone still stands. >Some are dated as far back as 200 years ago. >Everyone huddles close together. >Because they are totally not scared. >Nope. >Not even knowing that your only source of light are two flashlights. >And if they were to go off, you'd be in complete darkness >Hey, this wasn't your idea. >And even if it was, you would have gone to a much nicer looking cemetery. >”Uhm, Ah think this might be a good spot.” >AJ speaks up out of nowhere and startles the other girls. >You feel them jump from her sudden words. >”Y-Yeah, this looks good” >Twilight speaks up. >Her words a bit shaken. >She may be scared of this dark. >”Okie Dokie!” >Pinkie doesn't seem to be bothered. >She begins to take some candles out of a backpack she brought along.
