"Took us long enough." >You grunt as you fall back onto the large couch in Twilight's study, closing your eyes in the process. >Hearthswarming. >A time for families and friends to celebrate. >It was also a time for a certain human to clean up for lazy purple princess after a Hearthswarming Eve party. >A sigh from your right makes you snap back to reality. >The source being none other then Starlight Glimmer. >You both had taken on the task of cleaning up the castle after Twilight's lazy ass. >Spike had been of little use, as he helped for a grand total of 10 minutes; then promptly fell asleep while carrying plates. >More cleanup for you. "You tired?" You ask the pink mare. >"Yeah, I'm beat. Magic helps, but walking back and forth gets pretty tiring." >As if to emphasize her point, she lets out a cute little yawn, covering her mouth with her hoof. >She then turns her head to look at the roaring fire that you had set up while cleaning up the study. >You too turn to the fire, but eventually find your gaze drifting back towards the unicorn seated just an arms length away from you. >For a while you knew that you had a minor crush on Glimmy; but you became very aware that you liked her more then just a friend in the past few months. >You continued to stare at her form, lit up from the light from the fire; taking in more details. >Her impressively thick mane, her fuzzy ears that twitched whenever you moved slightly on the couch. >Her soft, bright pink coat that you wished you could just caress for hours. >Lower your eyes traveled, and they ended up at her well rounded ass. >You were definitely no stranger to pony asses. >After the initial shock of being in a magical world of talking horses wore off, you found yourself focusing more and more on them. >Particularly Glimmers. >It didn't help that she had the largest one of the group. >Starlight derailed your train of thought as she began turning to face you. >You focus back on the fire, making it seem like you were spaced out. >Rather her not find out that you were staring at her ass; especially since you both had always gotten along. >"So, you've been In Equestria for almost a year. How do you like it?" >Focusing on her now, you think about it for a few seconds. "Honestly, I really like it here. There are still some moments were I miss people, friends and family mainly." >She nods in understanding, as you continue. "The change of pace is really nice though. No one is as judgmental as people are back on Earth; and everyone's attitudes are much different." >"I'm glad you like it here. Everypony seems to get along with you. I'm also not the only pony Twilight has to clean up after her holiday parties. >You both chuckle, and just stare at each other for a few seconds. >She really was such a beautiful pony. >Suddenly she went from sitting next to you to sitting on your lap. >It took a few seconds, but you realized she was hugging you. >As unexpected as it was, you weren't gonna complain at a time like this. >You return the hug, wrapping you arms around the mare's warm body. >Slowly, you run one hand up and down her back; taking in the softness of her coat. >The hug lasted for what felt like hours as you both took in each others warmth. >She finally broke the hug and looked at you, smiling. >Her face was so close to yours. All you had to do was move a few inches forward and you lips would meet. >Before you finished that thought, she moved off you and leaned up against your side. >Taking your arm, you bring it around the pony and bring her closer to you. >Starlight responded by also leaning into you more, the top of her head brushing up under your chin. >She stops moving and let out a long contempt sigh. >You both stayed that way for a while, with your arm around her still. >As time passed you wondered why Glim had suddenly started being this affectionate towards you. >It wasn't because you didn't like it, this was a very welcome change. >But Starlight had never shown any indication that she saw you as more then just a friend. >Sure, you both hung out a lot and were pretty much best friends, but those were things friends did. >Sighing, you close you eyes and let you head fall back onto the top of the couch. >Starlight wasn't exactly the best at dealing with her emotions however. >You had heard the story. >Best friend left her, she became an edgy teenager, started a communist cult, tried to destroy Equestria, etc. >You remember when she told you about it, she genuinely thought you were going to stop being her friend because of what she had done. >It had been a pretty big shock to you, but up until that point she had shown you nothing but kindness. >Starlight had even been the one to find you passed out in a field when you ended up in horseland. >Even if it was a jarring revelation, at that point your feelings towards her had already cemented themselves in your mind. >No way were you going to cut off your friendship with her because of some shit that happened before you even showed up. >After that your friendship had only grown stronger. >And now, months later, here you were. >Cuddling with the pony that nearly dominated your thoughts. >Slowly you open your eyes and stare at the ceiling. >Something was hanging off the banners that stretched across the room. >You studied it for a few seconds, then immediately getting with the realization of what it was. >You felt the blood rush to your face and your heart rate increase. >A mistletoe. >A goddamn Mistletoe hung just a few feet over your head. >You knew that it hadn't been there when you got here, as you dedicated a large portion of your time taking all the ones that Twilight had set up a few days prior. "Oh." You said out loud. >Wait, shit. >Now Starlight was gonna look up and see it too. >Was that really a bad thing though? >"What's wrong Ano-" >She stopped talking and looked at you. >Because of how close you both were sitting, you were now touching noses with Starlight. >The softness of the hair on her muzzle tickled the tip of your nose. >Her big, beautiful eyes were trained on yours. >Time seemed to stand still as you both stared into each other. >Well, it was now or never. >In one fluid motion, you tilted your head to the side and brought your lips to hers. >She tensed up for a moment, her eyes opening wide. >Shit, maybe you had gone too far. >The thought melted away however as she sighed into you and relaxed, closing her eyes. >You too closed your eyes and continued the kiss. >It wasn't long before you felt Glimmy's tongue prodding your lips, asking for entry. >You were more then happy to oblige, as you opened your mouth and let her explore to her hearts content. >You began to run your hands up and down her body again, running one through her mane. >God it was so soft and smooth. >The other hand started to grope at her flesh, getting lower and lower. >For a moment you feared maybe you were going too far, but Glimmer's moans following your advances put that thought to rest. >You finally grabbed her rump, the soft flesh conforming to your fingers. >She let out a long moan into you as she kissed you more vigorously. >You weren't exactly sure how long your make out session had lasted, but it felt too short by the time she slowly pushed herself off from you, breaking the kiss. >Panting, you tried to catch your breath as you looked at her again. "That was.. amazing" you say between your heavy breathing. >Starlight says nothing, instead opting to give you another surprise hug. >Gladly returning it, you just enjoy the moment for what it is. >After about a minute she pulls away and looks at you, taking one of her hooves and resting it in the palm of your hand. >"... Anon?" "Yeah Starlight?" >"I'm not good at projecting my emotions, and maybe it's too early for me to say this..." >She trailed off, looking away from you and making circles on you chest with her free hoof. >You give her hoof a reassuring squeeze, hoping she continues. >She sighs and shuts her eyes, staying like that for a few seconds. >Opening them again, she looks at you and utters those three words you only dreamed of her saying. >"I love you." >She surprises you with a deep and passionate kiss. >You let the kiss run it's course, separating after another minute. >Taking a hand, you slowly bring it up to her cheek. >Glim almost involuntarily nuzzles into it. >HNNNNNG levels off the charts. >You look into her eyes. >She's nervous, waiting on your response. >Chuckling, you caress her cheek with your hand. "I love you too Starlight." >Upon hearing those words, she smiles and hugs you; crying tears of joy into your chest. >You pet her as she lets out all her pent up emotions. >Once again shutting your eyes, you lean back and relax. >Even though you loved Equestria, something had always felt missing. >You assumed that it was just homesickness and nothing more. >But now, after what had just happened, you knew what it was. >You were missing someone to love. >And finally, right here, you had just that. >Smiling, you sigh. >Right now, at this moment, everything was right in the world.
