>Everybody laughs...totally not athletic Dash's style
>But she's a good sport about it
>Even models them for the group
>Everyone has a good laugh, but after that they go in her underwear drawer to be forgotten

A few months later...
>Rainbow is running late for school
>Overslept
"MOOOOMMM! I don't have any clean undies!"
>Windy Whistles groans
"Dashie, I told you over and over again to put them in the laundry...not leave them all over your bedroom floor!"
>Rainbow frantically looks for something to wear under her skirt
>A half-clean pair...maybe a swimsuit
>The only thing she finds;
>The big pink bloomers from Pinkie
"You gotta be kidding me."
>But she has no choice

>Oversleeping has a cascade effect
>Dash misses the school bus
>Has to take her bicycle, arrives late
>Didn't get her homework done last night
>Planned on copying from Egghead Sparkle
>But having arrived late, no time for that
>Dash gets written up for being late and incomplete homework
>Alone, neither is that big a deal
>Together they add up to enough demerits to cause a problem

>Rainbow is called to the Principal's office at the end of the day
>She's not alone
>Lyra, Flash & Scootaloo all got busted for various things that day
>All mid-level offences
>No letter home, but 6 whacks with the paddle each
>Vice Principal Luna is on disciplinary duty today
>She doesn't mess around
>No private paddlings when she's on the job
"All of you turn around and place your hands on the desk.
"Those of you wearing trousers or shorts, lower them, those wearing skirts, raise them.
"You may all leave your undergarments in place."
>Flash, Scoot & Lyra all drop their pants
>None of them are happy about it, but at least they're doing it together

>Dash hesitates
>She's the only one wearing a skirt
"Miss Dash, your skirt, NOW, or the consequences will increase."
>With a gulp, Rainbow lifts her skirt
>Exposing the poofy pink bloomers
>Despite their own predicament, the others can't help but giggle
>Rainbow blushes the same color as her bloomers
"It was laundry day! I didn't have anything else."
>Even Vice Principal Luna can't help but snicker
"Alright, that's enough, let's get on with this..."

>But V.P. Luna is still laughing about the poofy bloomers
>She's not in a proper paddling state-of-mind so she doesn't whack very hard
>Everybody gets off fairly easy because of Rainbow's big silly underwear
>Word travels around Canterlot High fast

>Months later, students are still coming up to Dash, teasing her
"Hey Rainbow, I got busted smoking behind the gym today. Gotta go see Vice Principal Luna at the end of the day. Can I borrow your bloomers?"
>It gets a laugh every time
>When the CMC's paint a big banner for the soccer team's pep rally, Rainbow is wearing pink bloomers with her uniform
>A pair get run up the flagpole for Homecoming
>It's months before Dash lives it down
"Fuckin' Pinkie Pie."
