Dash couldn't take it anymore. She'd been listening for five minutes as Diamond bullied and teased Scootaloo who had started to cry.

That did it.

That brat needed a spanking.

Diamond sneered down at Scoots. "Oh, is the foal gonna cr-YEOW!"

She jumped into the air as a lightning bolt stung her rump and turned around, gasping at Dash. "What are you trying to do? Kill me?"

Dash snorted. "That's not gonna kill ya, that was just a spanking and I got plenty of'em when I was your age. Now, leave Scoots alone unless ya wan a second one."

Dash had never seen an Earth Pony run that fast and Scootaloo lept in Dash's forelegs while Dash cooed over her. 

And from that day forward the naughty foals of Ponyville would receive a sharp jolt to their bottoms whenever they misbehaved in public.
