A short green I did for /ntt/ ----- >Be Anon >You decided that today you'd rather stay inside and read than go on any adventures >Ponyville was also relatively peaceful for the past week or so, no town destroying incidents or friendship problems to speak of >You live with Twilight. Why? Well, you're her lover, silly silly Anon. >Well, you did live with her before that because she offered when you realized that you now had no home nor the bits to get one >Twilight's kindness is just another part of her that you love >Speaking of the purple pony, she wasn't in bed with you >As is expected of her, she stayed up late studying magic again >But you didn't mind, as someone who has stayed up a fair few times >The thought of her falling asleep at the desk worried you though, so you checked up on her. >Sure enough, there she was, bags under her eyes and snoring away >You contemplated whether or not to wake her up for a second before fate decided for you via the creaking door >The tired unicorn woke up with a start, shaking her head and peering blearily around the room >"Ugh... what time is it?" >You put your hand on her withers, causing her to jump again "Time for a tired pony to catch up on her sleep. Come on Twilight." >Twilight's face lit up in realization, before falling back into a remorseful expression >"Oh, Anon... I'm sorry, I promised to come to bed but I just had to read one more page-" "Twilight, Twilight. It's fine. Granted, a bit cold without you, but the sound of the fireplace and your magic do wonders for a sleepy human anyways. You can always make up for it later." >You ran your fingers through her messy, but still silky mane, eliciting a hum of pleasure from her as your digits weaved through the purple and pink strands >"Mmm, I feel like I'm going to fall asleep all over again." >You chuckled "Try to keep yourself awake until you reach a bed, silly pony." >"Mmmh, too tired. Carry me." >The audacity of this mare >She's lucky you love her >You pick her up with one hand on her lower back and lean her against your arm, sort of cradling her in your arms. >She tiredly nuzzles you, making those cute noises you'll never get tired of hearing >Slowly but surely, you carry her to the bed upstairs >From all those weight jokes they made of her back home, you figured she'd be a bit on the heavy side, but Twilight was surprisingly lighter than you were expecting, you only had to exert yourself just a little bit. >You attribute that to unicorn metabolism, she'd need a lot of energy to burn for magic, especially since using magic seems to exert her as well if she pushes it too far. >You lay Twilight down on the bed softly and tuck her in >She squirms a bit, seemingly missing the warmth of your arms >You would find it cute, but it also tugs at you a bit, since you want her to be as comfortable as possible >You look out the window to see the sun hasn't even risen yet >Probably 6 AM or earlier >You still had time to enjoy a restful sleep with your wife >You slid under the covers, scooting closer to her searching hooves >They latch directly onto you, clutching your back and dragging Twilight closer to you >You wrap your own arms around the sleepy mare "Nighty night, sweet Twilight." >"Mmm... night... 'Non." >Consciousness slowly slips away from you, as the rhythmic breaths of your beautiful purple unicorn wife lulls you to sleep.
