  1. Part 2
  2.
  3. >You have beaten Rainbow Dash and all her friends.
  4. >And also effectively dismantled her crew and brought the Canterlot Speed Stars back to prominence.
  5. >What will you do now?
  6. >Well, on a Saturday night.
  7. >You sit in a parking lot at the Jazz Alley looking for either Celestia or Luna's cars.
  8. >Which you do not see neither of them.
  9. >You end the night with a cruise around the City to see if you can run into her.
  10. >But nothing appears.
  11. >Sunday at work you are approached by many coworkers that you didn't know or realize were a part of or fans of the street racing scene.
  12. >You guess it should be expected.
  13. >You have climbed the ranks, so to speak.
  14. >You've beaten the very best the active scene had to offer.
  15. >And the keyword in that sentence being “active”.
  16. >Because now the real work begins.
  17. >And by that, you mean Principal Celestia and her 'White Mirage'.
  18. >You vowed that once you were at the top that you would be gunning for her.
  19. >And it's been hard to try and track her down at school.
  20. >Monday.
  21. >Finals and graduation are coming up.
  22. >So a lot of students are on edge.
  23. >Speaking of being at the top.
  24. >Rainbow Dash makes good on her word.
  25. >In a meeting with you during lunch with the rest of the girls and even your teammates she disbands the Sonic RainBooms.
  26. >You do extend an olive branch and offer spots on the Canterlot Speed Stars to them.
  27. >Hell, they were all great racers, after all.
  28. >They all agree to join.
  29. >Except for Rainbow Dash.
  30. >She says she will keep her word in that she will quit racing.
  31. >You try to disregard that and still pressure her to join up.
  32. >She still refuses, for now, she says.
  33. >She wants some time to readjust and think, then she may consider it.
  34. >Fine by you.
  35. >Now that that's been taken care of, you have been trying to find Principal Celestia.
  36. >But she's been nowhere to be seen.
  37. >You feel like she's now avoiding you because she always had this uncanny ability to just appear out of nowhere.
  38. >Now, nothing.
  39. >An entire week of her not showing her face.
  40. >You're going to need to come up with another plan to confront her.
  41. >The first racing meet since your victory over Rainbow Dash.
  42. >She is there to officially disband her group and for you to absorb them into the Canterlot Speed Stars.
  43. >Afterwords she leaves for the night. Opting not to stay for the races.
  44. >You don't force her to stay, but it would have helped to have her since she had experience in leading things for a racing meet.
  45. >It's been a learning process on who should race who and whatnot.
  46. >But ultimately a smooth first night.
  47. >Saturday is just a lazy day and you didn't feel like doing anything until your night cruise.
  48. >You were heading to the kitchen to grab something to drink and head back to your room to funpost on online message boards when the doorbell rang.
  49. >You stare at the door for a moment.
  50. >Then you go about your business.
  51. >You're rummaging through the refrigerator looking for a drink of anything really, when the doorbell rings again.
  52. >Again, you pay no attention to it.
  53. >You finally grab a drink and begin to head back to your room when the doorbell rings a third time.
  54. >Finally you hear your father yell from his office.
  55. >”Someone get the damn door!”
  56. >You just stand there.
  57. >And sigh.
  58. “What's the point of having a huge mansion with no hired help!?”
  59. >You yell back to him as you make your way to the entrance hall and to the door.
  60. >You're still grumbling as you open the giant wooden double door to reveal Bow Hotfoot now standing before you.
  61. “Ayeeaerr.”
  62. >You make sounds at your apparent guest.
  63. >He was wearing a dirty brown aviators coat and some faded jeans..
  64. >”Anonymous.”
  65. >Bow nods and acknowledges you.
  66. >You then move to the side and hold the large door open and motion him to enter.
  67. >”Come on in.”
  68. >You tell him.
  69. >He then makes his way in.
  70. >”Thank you kindly.”
  71. >He tells you.
  72. >While you didn't expect to see him ever coming by to your house.
  73. >You really didn't except to see that he dragged Rainbow Dash with him.
  74. >She followed right behind him and welcomed herself inside.
  75. >She catches a glance at you before she walks right on by.
  76. >She was wearing a dark blue hoodie with the hood up so only the sides of her hair were sticking out.
  77. >A pair of dark pink sweatpants for the lower half.
  78. >You then close the door behind them and then quickly move back to where they are.
  79. “So, what brings you guys here.”
  80. >You quickly ask.
  81. >They are both looking around at the spacious entrance hall that leads to the equally large living room.
  82. >”I came to see your old man.”
  83. >Bow responds.
  84. >He then motions to Rainbow Dash.
  85. >”I brought her along because I felt she needed to set some things right with you.”
  86. >You then look at Dash.
  87. >She looks away from you.
  88. >Set some things right?
  89. >For all you care everything between you two are settled.
  90. “O..kay.”
  91. >You respond in a suspicions manor.
  92. “Dad! You have company!”
  93. >You yell out into the abyss of your house.
  94. >It takes a few minutes of awkward silence before your dad shows himself from the inner bowels of the mansion.
  95. >He seems pleased to see his former and now friend again.
  96. >”Hey, glad you could make it!”
  97. >He says happily.
  98. >He then notices Rainbow Dash in tow behind him.
  99. >”And hello to you too, dear.”
  100. >He smiles and waves to Dash.
  101. >She smiles lightly and meekly waves back to him.
  102. >He then brings his attention back to Bow.
  103. >”Come to my office, we have a lot to discuss.”
  104. >Bow then begins to head over to where your dad is and then both of them begin to descend into the mansion.
  105. >Dad then looks back at you.
  106. >”Oh, Anon, be a good host for Dash, perhaps you can give her a tour of the house, or the garage and the car collection.”
  107. >He then winks and disappears into the hallway.
  108. >You just throw your arms up in defiance and a little bit of frustration.
  109. >You were in the middle of an intense flame war online!
  110. >Now you have to put it on hold for a cute rainbow colored hair girl.
  111. >Which case she was still standing in the same spot as before.
  112. >You both just stand there for a while.
  113. >Only this time there was an awkward silence instead of intense.
  114. >You look down to your can of soda and then hold it up to Dash.
  115. “Soda?”
  116. >You lazily offer your can of soda to your guest.
  117. >She looks at the can then back at you.
  118. >”No thanks, you wouldn't happen to have anything a little more healthy though?”
  119. >You drop your hand back to your side and try to remember what was all in the fridge.
  120. “Uh, I think my mom has a bunch of Kombucha or whatever that stuff is.”
  121. >She thinks for a minute then she nods at your suggestion.
  122. >”Yeah, that's fine.”
  123. >You then head back to the kitchen and fridge to snag a bottle of Kombucha for the health conscious girl.
  124. >At least you think Kombucha is healthy.
  125. >All you know is you hate it and it tastes like fermented dirt, therefore it must be healthy.
  126. >Oh, and Rainbow Dash will drink it.
  127. >You snag a bottle, not like your mom will notice a single bottle missing anyways.
  128. >Then you head on back to see Rainbow Dash has made herself comfortable by having a seat on the big couch in the living room.
  129. >She is busy looking at something on her phone as you walk up to her.
  130. >She notices you when you are right next to her and you hand her the bottle.
  131. >She takes it.
  132. >”Thanks.”
  133. >She gives you a simple thanks and nothing else.
  134. >You shrug it off,
  135. “Yeah.”
  136. >You say back.
  137. >You then take a seat on another big couch that was across from the one Dash was sitting on.
  138. >Both of you just kinda sit there.
  139. >Not really acknowledging each others company.
  140. >You take this time to pop open your own can of soda and take a drink out of it.
  141. >And more silence.
  142. >Some host you are.
  143. “So...”
  144. >You decide to start something.
  145. “Did your dad really drag you here to apologize for something?”
  146. >You take another drink of your soda, anticipating an answer from Dash.
  147. >She looks up from her phone and at you.
  148. >”Huh? Oh, yeah.”
  149. >She says.
  150. >She then puts her phone back into her jacket pocket and then opens the bottle of Kombucha you got for her.
  151. >”Sorry.”
  152. >She finally says as she takes her first drink.
  153. >There is more silence before you answer back.
  154. “Sorry for what?”
  155. >You ask.
  156. >It may seem like you are rubbing this in, and she seemed to think so as she now has an annoyed look on her face.
  157. >”I'm sorry for acting like a jerk to you, okay?”
  158. >She raised her voice a little at that.
  159. >You then sit back in your seat and take a few large chugs of soda.
  160. >Letting the small carbonated bubbles burn your throat as it travels down.
  161. >You then grunt once you are finished.
  162. “Well, I accept your apology.”
  163. >You tell her unceremoniously.
  164. >You stay silent once again.
  165. >Dash seems to still have an annoyed look on her face.
  166. >So you continue.
  167. “I can't say for sure if I wouldn't have done the same thing if I were in your shoes.”
  168. >She doesn't say much at first .
  169. >But after another drink of her fermented dirt, she opens up a bit more.
  170. >”I think my dad just finally realized he was being a total ass these past few years, and now he's on this apology tour.”
  171. >She then looks down at her bottle.
  172. >”He wanted to reconcile with my mom first, but we haven't been able to find her.”
  173. >She is starting to get a little sad.
  174. >”I really miss her.”
  175. >Well shit she's getting depressing.
  176. >Think of a distraction.
  177. “Hey, would looking at a bunch of cool cars cheer you up?”
  178. >You ask.
  179. >Alluding to going to look at your dad's collection.
  180. >She takes her attention away from her drink and on to you.
  181. >A smile then creeps onto her face.
  182. >Not a malicious or sadistic smile.
  183. >But a genuine smile she had back when she tried to recruit you to her group.
  184. >”Yeah, I would like that.”
  185. >Her smile then rubbed off on you as you then matched hers with your own.
  186. >You then get up from your seat and motion for her to follow you.
  187. “Come on then.”
  188. >You both head out through the rear exit of the house and walk across the large backyard towards the giant warehouse like building.
  189. >You take out your keys and unlock the sliding doors and slide them open.
  190. >Revealing rows of expensive, rare, exotic and cheap cars.
  191. >By that you mean your modest silver Dodge Neon is one of the first cars that is presented in the garage.
  192. >You start to walk into the garage and don't say anything at first.
  193. >You just let Dash look and if she wants to comment on anything you can give her a little insight on her chosen cars.
  194. >As you go deeper into the garage you then look back at Dash.
  195. >She is actually looking at the Z.
  196. >You then move back to join her.
  197. “I think this one really needs no introduction.”
  198. >You comment.
  199. >She then sighs.
  200. >”Yeah.”
  201. >She replies as she finally moves on.
  202. >She quickly looks over to the Yukon XL and continues.
  203. >Now hovering over the Bentley Mulsanne.
  204. >You then tell her the story about how you drove this to pick up Rarity for Prom
  205. >Only to have to park it in a dirt road.
  206. >She giggles over that story.
  207. >”That sucks, this thing would have totally caught a lot of attention.”
  208. >You agree with her.
  209. >Then you escort her over to your dad's white Bugatti Chiron.
  210. >You then said how you originally wanted to roll to Prom in this.
  211. >She then looks to you with a smug look on her face.
  212. >”Geez man, were you trying to fuck Rarity or something?”
  213. >You now act all bashful
  214. “N-No! I just, wanted to show off is all.”
  215. >She then laughs.
  216. >”Seriously dude, if you showed up in this she would have instantly dropped her panties.”
  217. >Her smug look then gets a little more lewd.
  218. >”If she wore any panties, that is...”
  219. >You now feel an intense blush wash over your face.
  220. >How the fuck does she know that?
  221. >Do you really want to know?
  222. >No, no you do not.
  223. >You chuckle nervously and move on.
  224. >You are now in front of your dad's new toy.
  225. >The Ford GT he drove to the races last week.
  226. >Which explains what that shipping crate was before as well.
  227. >While you were both looking at the car, the one next to it was what caught her attention.
  228. >”Whoa! Hold on here!”
  229. >She now brings her attention to the crown jewel of your dad's collection.
  230. >The 1965 Shelby Cobra.
  231. >An original one at that.
  232. >The small, slick, unmistakeable convertible shined brightly in the lights of the garage.
  233. >Blue colored with the dual racing stripes across the middle of the frame.
  234. >Rainbow Dash excitedly starts to circle around the classic beast taking in every inch.
  235. >”No way this is a legit Cobra!”
  236. >She claims.
  237. >You then chuckle.
  238. “I mean, I know my dad shelled out a sacrilegious amount of money for this and he and his mentor went through this thing rigorously.”
  239. >You pause for a moment and then continued.
  240. “It also helped that he did used to race for Ford Racing, so it's not entirely out of the question an original came up for sale amongst them.”
  241. >You then place your hand on the car.
  242. “I think it's safe to say this is one of only 19 competition models ever produced.”
  243. >Dash is still just gushing over this car.
  244. >”So awesome.”
  245. >You then start to laugh.
  246. “Man, if a Bugatti would make Rarity instantly drop her panties, then it's safe to say that this bad boy is your panty dropper.”
  247. >You joke to her.
  248. >She then looks up to you with a straight face.
  249. >”Yes, yes it would.”
  250. >Her response caught you off guard and now you feel a tingle of heat creep back into your cheeks.
  251. >You look away and forcibly cough.
  252. “O-oh, well uh...”
  253. >She giggles at your response.
  254. >”But seriously dude, we HAVE to go for a ride in it!”
  255. >Another comment by her that took you off guard.
  256. “Well...”
  257. >You start to say.
  258. >She is looking at you with pleading eyes.
  259. >You're not sure.
  260. >While this car wasn't as expensive as the Bugatti, it did cost somewhere in the million dollar range.
  261. >And unlike the Bugatti, it's much more rare so if something were to happen to it there is no way to restore it back to it's original form.
  262. >You are still unsure.
  263. >”Come on. Please?”
  264. >She pleads once again.
  265. >You sigh.
  266. “Let me go ask.”
  267. >Dash is genuinely excited about it now.
  268. >You run back into the house.
  269. >Before you head on into your dad's office you check the box of car keys to maybe see if he left the Cobra's key with the rest of them.
  270. >Again, considering it is your dad's crown jewel and it's rarity and cost you can't imagine it's with the-
  271. >The key was in fact here with the rest of the car keys.
  272. >You can tell because it's a single key with the 'Cobra' insignia as it's key chain.
  273. >Before you just up and leave with the key though, you yell out to your dad.
  274. “Hey dad!”
  275. >After a moment his yell echos from the depths of the house back to you
  276. >”What!?”
  277. >You shout back into the abyss
  278. “I'm taking Rainbow Dash for a ride in the 65' Cobra!”
  279. >There is a long pause.
  280. >After what felt like minutes you finally hear the echo of his yell.
  281. >”Don't crash it!”
  282. >That was all you needed to hear.
  283. >You grin and grasp the key in your hand and quickly head back out to the garage.
  284. >Dash was still waiting by the Cobra for you.
  285. >Once she spots you you then flash the key to her.
  286. >A huge toothy grin spreads along her face at the gesture.
  287. >She's so excited she lets out a squeak and tries to take the key from you but you quickly pull your hand back.
  288. “I'll drive it.”
  289. >You tell her.
  290. “This car is way too rare and valuable that in the off chance something does happen, I want to make sure I'm the one to blame.”
  291. >You continue.
  292. “Don't get me wrong, I think you have shown that you are a very capable driver, and if you're a good girl, maybe I'll let you drive it back.”
  293. >You tell her with a cheeky smile on your face.
  294. >She pouts at you.
  295. >”Fuck you, Anon.”
  296. >She actually says that in a more lighthearted tone than the other times she has insulted you so maybe that's a good indication she isn't mad at you.
  297. >You climb in the drivers seat and she does the same in the passenger's.
  298. >It's very cramped in the car as you are both very close to each other.
  299. >The car has no frills to it whatsoever.
  300. >All black interior.
  301. >No radio.
  302. >4 Speed manual transmission.
  303. >Speaking which the shift knob was angled in a really odd way.
  304. >Several switches that activated the fans and intercoolers manually as this was an older performance car.
  305. >The seatbelts are lap belts only and no shoulder straps whatsoever.
  306. >Gotta love them olden days lack of safety standards.
  307. >At least the seats were super comfy.
  308. >The steering wheel has a nice polished wood finish with the Cobra insignia in the middle.
  309. >You finally place the key in the ignition and flip all the switches and turn the key.
  310. >It takes a second or two more but the car finally purrs to life.
  311. >Rainbow Dash starts to make some giddy sounds at the cars engine.
  312. >She then pulls down her hood and lets her long rainbow colored hair flow out
  313. >You tap the gas pedal to give it a quick rev and the car roars loudly.
  314. >Oh yeah, the exhaust pipe is right next to you as it's a side exhaust.
  315. >You shake off the initial shock of the exhaust and set the car in first to slowly roll out of the garage.
  316. >Just before you exit out into the street, you notice a small pack on the front dashboard of the car.
  317. >You grab it so it wont fall out into the street and you notice there is a pair of silver aviator mirror sunglasses inside.
  318. >You grin and put them on and set the small case in the side netting on the drivers side door.
  319. >And you finally head out into the streets.
  320. https://youtu.be/4hDBMDWdvXw [Yuzo Koshiro - Cause You're Different - Wangan Midnight Max Tune 3 OST])
  321. >You are just simply going down the street and this car has tremendous pull.
  322. >Even a small tap to the gas and the car is jumping like it wants to pounce onto it's prey.
  323. >You stop at the first stop sign in your neighborhood.
  324. >Dash still has a permanent grin on her face as she looks to you.
  325. >”Come on, punch it!”
  326. >She yells over the loud byproduct of the Equestrian Muscle engine.
  327. >Since there weren't many other cars on the road at the moment, once you reach the main street you put a little more pressure on the gas.
  328. >The Cobra roars and zooms up ahead with ease.
  329. >The force pushes you back much like your new 2JZ powered Z but you can't help but smile yourself and let out an impressed chuckle.
  330. “Whoa!”
  331. >You say out loud.
  332. >You haven't even hit third gear yet and the car feels like a modern day supercar.
  333. >Hell, you're almost scared to give it more gas for fear that it may well take off like some rocket jet.
  334. >You stop at a stop light just before entering the highway and you have gotten more looks in this car than even the Bentley.
  335. >Many people are stopping and taking pictures of the car while they can.
  336. >Then you get the green light.
  337. >You take a deep breath and lay in on the gas.
  338. >The car screams as you shift up and enter the highway.
  339. >Now, you are not a fan of convertibles.
  340. >Never were.
  341. >Something about exposing yourself out to the elements, regardless of how nice it is outside just doesn’t jive with you.
  342. >But driving this Shelby Cobra is probably one of the most enjoyable experiences you've had in your short existence in life.
  343. >The sounds of the engine.
  344. >The feel of the wind rushing along your head.
  345. >The feeling of freedom from not being too strapped down with an over the shoulder strap.
  346. >The sensitive steering making maneuvering a breeze
  347. >And the overall feeling of floating off the ground at high speeds like you have taken off into the air with how smooth the suspension and wheels are.
  348. >You can't help but have a huge smile on your face while driving this.
  349. >And you can only hope your first sexual experience will be as great as this.
  350. >But damn this is now a high bar to climb.
  351. >You weave through traffic while remaining at high speed.
  352. >Finally you reach a stretch of road with no other pedestrian drivers and just lay into the gas.
  353. >Just to cruise and get your fix of all muscle and all horsepower and no bullshit.
  354. >You then look over to she how Rainbow Dash is taking this in.
  355. >She's sitting as high as her lap belt will let her go.
  356. >Which lets part of her head up over the car's relatively small windshield.
  357. >Her rainbow colored hair blows magnificently with the winds.
  358. >Her arms raised high in the air like she was riding a roller coaster.
  359. >She seems to be screaming in the air but the sounds of the engine and winds drown her out.
  360. >”THIS IS AWESOME!!”
  361. >You heard that and you're pretty sure she screamed that at the top of her lungs.
  362. >But it just barely sounded no louder than a whisper because again, powerful engine and roaring winds.
  363. >Your smile only widens as you go back to paying attention to the road ahead of you.
  364. >Not really going anywhere in particular.
  365. >After what feels like no time at all, and after attacking a few 'S' curves to get a better understanding of the cars handling you decide to exit into another suburb of Canterlot City.
  366. >You then stop at an olde town center like part of the city and you then park the car right in front of a high end Ice Cream shop.
  367. >Both of you just sit there for a moment.
  368. >You feel your body ease up and you begin to breath heavy like you just finished an intense physical activity.
  369. >Like you need a cigarette.
  370. >You look over to Dash and she looks the same way and a look of pleasure on her face.
  371. >You then look ahead at the ice cream parlor.
  372. “Care to get some ice cream?”
  373. >You ask her without even looking at her.
  374. >”Yeah.”
  375. >She sighs.
  376. >”Yeah, that sounds good.”
  377. >You then nod and you hop out the car.
  378. >It takes Dash a little longer for her to get to get out of the car so you just go ahead and get in line.
  379. >It was a long line so this damn well better be worth it.
  380. >Dash finally meets you in line and you both just stand there.
  381. >Waiting.
  382. Once you both have your flavors of ice cream you both sit out in the open and keep an eye on the Cobra.
  383. >While eating, there were many passerby's who would stop and ogle at the car themselves.
  384. >Lots of people take pictures of it in passing.
  385. >During your ice cream break Rainbow Dash then springs a question to you.
  386. >”So what are you going to do about the White Mirage?”
  387. >You stare at her for a moment before you give her an answer.
  388. “I'm not sure.”
  389. >You lie.
  390. >But you still don't want to spill the beans that it's Celestia who is the White Mirage just yet.
  391. “I'll just continue to ride on Saturday nights and just pray they'll show up.”
  392. >You shrug it off.
  393. “It worked twice before.”
  394. >You try to keep the facade up.
  395. >”What about using the database at your dad's store?”
  396. >A good suggestion.
  397. >One you already did way back when.
  398. “Already tried before I even joined the scene.”
  399. >You then shake your head.
  400. “There are just too many white Porsches to sift through,”
  401. >That seems to be the end of the conversation as you both finish your treats in silence.
  402. >Once you are ready to head back home, you stare at the Cobra for a moment.
  403. >Then you look over to Rainbow Dash.
  404. >You pull the key out of your pocket and you hand it over to her.
  405. “You can drive us back.”
  406. >Her eyes open wide and light up.
  407. >And her big smile returns to her face.
  408. >She takes the key from your hand while she squeals and giggles uncontrollably.
  409. >You both head to the car and you hop into the passengers side.
  410. >She gets in the drivers seat and puts the key in the ignition.
  411. >Before she turns the key, she grabs the aviator sunglasses and puts them on herself.
  412. >She then flips the switches and tuns the key and the Shelby Cobra hums to life.
  413. >The sound of the car coming to life brings a lot of attention from all of the various onlookers.
  414. >The loud engine even sets off a few other sensitive car alarms.
  415. >Some of them pull out their camera phones and take pictures and videos of the car.
  416. >Dash then exits the parking spot and cruises down the street.
  417. >Once she is back on the highway though, she lets loose and lays in on the gas pedal.
  418. >The Cobra once again begins to glide along the smooth pavement of the highway like it's floating in mid air.
  419. >Another feeling you don't ever want to get tired of.
  420. >The engine doesn't seem as loud as before.
  421. >But that's because the exhaust is over on the drivers side.
  422. >But that doesn't make it any less impactful.
  423. >You also feel both exhilarated and frightened.
  424. >Exhilarated because you're still having the time of your life with the wind blowing and the sounds of the engine roaring like the king of the jungle.
  425. >But you're frightened because it's not you who is in control of this beast.
  426. >You're confident Dash knows what she is doing but the fear is still there.
  427. >She does her own weaving through the slower, speed limit following traffic just as gracefully as you did.
  428. >You both then come up on a yellow Ferrari F8 Spider and Dash rides up to it's side.
  429. >The driver then rolls down his window and blows Dash a kiss.
  430. >He then zooms forward presumably leaving you in the dust.
  431. >For now.
  432. >Dash looks over to you.
  433. >You nervously laugh and Dash takes that as you agreeing with her.
  434. >She smiles back at you and she floors it to catch up to the Ferrari.
  435. >She is now neck and neck with the guy now.
  436. >Both of you are going about the same speed which is impressive for a car this old to still be able to match power with more modern supercars.
  437. >A series of 'S' curves are approaching fast and both Dash and the guy are still going at it.
  438. “Dash!”
  439. >You say loudly but not loud enough to go over the sounds of the winds and the engine.
  440. >Your heart rate begins to raise as quickly as she is driving.
  441. >You try to brace for the tight turns as there are no handles to hold onto.
  442. >The guy in the Ferrari then starts to slow down.
  443. >Dash however, attacks the curves and drifts through all of them.
  444. >She even exits the last one with momentum and speed and the Ferrari can no longer catch up.
  445. >Guess that guy was just a poser in a fast car.
  446. >You begin to calm down a little bit.
  447. >That went rather well.
  448. >You then look over to Dash and see her smile is as bright as the Sun itself.
  449. >She then looks over to you with that same smile.
  450. >You can't help but smile back at her.
  451. >There seems to be a moment here that you can't explain.
  452. >Both of you finally take your attention off of each other and back onto the road.
  453. >The rest of the drive goes smooth.
  454. >You point out exits and turns for Dash to make your way back to your home.
  455. >As she is pulling into your large driveway and up to your garage, you see both your and Dash's dad are in the garage looking at his collection.
  456. >They both turn you see you approaching them and they slightly move aside.
  457. >Dash just stops before the entrance to the garage and sets the E-brake and turns the motor off.
  458. >She then leans back into the seat and lets out a long satisfied moan.
  459. >You then hear your dad laugh as he is making his way towards you two.
  460. >”Had fun?”
  461. >He asks.
  462. “Very much so.”
  463. >You say as you get out of the car.
  464. “You know, I never liked convertibles until I gave this thing a ride.”
  465. >You tell him as you shut the door and pat the hood.
  466. “I mean, I still don't like them, but this baby is an exception.”
  467. >Your dad then pats you on the shoulder and then looks to Dash.
  468. >”What about you?”
  469. >She just lets out another deep breath as the takes off the sunglasses and puts them back into their case.
  470. >”That was the most awesome time I've ever had.”
  471. >She says while she now exits the car herself.
  472. >Bow then walks up to join Dash while also ogling the Cobra.
  473. >”Is this an original?”
  474. >He asks.
  475. >Your father then nods his head proudly.
  476. >”Sure is!”
  477. >He tells him triumphantly.
  478. >Bow just continues to inspect the classic car.
  479. >”How in the hell did you manage to find one?”
  480. >He asks your dad.
  481. >”I have good enough connections through Shelby Performance from when I worked with Ford Racing that I was given a heads up when one was put on the market.”
  482. >He then circles the car and meets with Bow and places an arm around his shoulders.
  483. >”The auction for it was way more tense than any race I have ever been in.”
  484. >He chuckles and then looks at Bow.
  485. >”Want to give it a spin yourself?”
  486. >Bow then rolls his eyes,
  487. >”Not today, we really need to get going.”
  488. >He then takes your dad's hand and pushes it off of him lightly.
  489. >”Good talking to you again, though.”
  490. >He then puts on a smile.
  491. >The first time you've seen one from him.
  492. >He then looks to Dash and motions his head to head on out.
  493. >Their car was parked over on the side of the garage.
  494. >It was a black Range Rover Velar.
  495. >A nice ride, to be sure.
  496. >As Bow makes his way to the vehicle Dash stands back for a minute.
  497. >She then looks to you and gives you one more smile and wave to you goodbye.
  498. >Then she quickly makes her way to the SUV and gets in the passenger seat and they drive off.
  499. >You still stand there, watching as the Range Rover moves out of sight.
  500. >Once it is no longer in your view you feel an elbow nudge you on the side.
  501. >”Damn kid, with the way you were both acting, I would have thought you two were fucking.”
  502. >You feel your cheeks heat up quickly at your dad's embarrassing comment.
  503. “Shut up dad! It's not like that!”
  504. >You quickly refute his claims.
  505. >He just looks at you with suspecting eyes and a sly smile.
  506. >”Sure thing, kiddo. I probably now have to wash the drivers seat from how wet she got from driving it.”
  507. >You get a little more flustered at your dad.
  508. “Cut it out!”
  509. >You yell at him.
  510. >Now you can't tell him that Rainbow Dash admitted that this car was a panty dropper for her.
  511. >He'll never let you hear the end of it.
  512. >He then starts to laugh.
  513. >”What will the other girls think of you being a playboy to them all?”
  514. >You then turn to leave.
  515. “Fuck off dad, I'm going inside!”
  516. >You take a few steps when you hear your father whistle out to you.
  517. >”Hey! Quit being a bitch, man up and fuck one of your fine lady friends and help me get the Cobra back in it's spot in the garage!”
  518. >He commands.
  519. >And you follow.
  520. >Your dad releases the E-Brake and you both then push the car into the garage.
  521. >Dad steers the car from the drivers side while you take care of pushing from the passengers side.
  522. >Once you both have it in it's spot you both then lock up the garage and head back into the house.
  523. >You then immediately head straight into you room for the rest of the afternoon and night.
  524. >That was enough excitement for one day.
  525.
  526. >Staying true to your word, you stay in this Saturday night.
  527. >The first time you do so in a long time.
  528. >Watch, tonight will be the night when Celestia and Luna are at the damn Jazz Alley and you screw yourself over for another few weeks.
  529. >Ah well, whatever.
  530. >Come Monday and it's time for Finals.
  531. >Everyone is on edge.
  532. >Perhaps a good time to start something.
  533. >You tried going about things in a more civil manor and it got you nowhere.
  534. >So now time for a little disorder.
  535. >Lunch time.
  536. >Your group now sits at a lunch table much closer to the girls.
  537. >Since you are all now one big group.
  538. >And not that it matters anymore since in about a weeks time everyone here save for poor Wallflower are graduating and moving on.
  539. >But you suppose it's still good for synergy or something like that.
  540. >Everyone had been having a good time chatting with each other.
  541. >Except for Twilight who looks like she's going to have a nervous breakdown over finals.
  542. >You are just sitting there, thinking.
  543. >Principal Celestia had been busy once again today.
  544. >And it's been driving you bonkers.
  545. >You feel the only way to get her attention is to start some shit and get sent to her office for it.
  546. >You wait for when it looks like the cafeteria is at it's most full.
  547. >When you feel the crowd is at it's apex, you stand up at your lunch table and yell out loud.
  548. “FOOD FIGHT!”
  549. >There is a long and uncomfortable silence that followed your scream into the hall.
  550. >Most of the student body, including your friends are just stating at you.
  551. >Some with worried looks.
  552. >Some with a hint of annoyance.
  553. “Uh.”
  554. >You fumble to yourself.
  555. >Without thinking, you then grab your bowl of pasta from lunch and just randomly toss it behind your back.
  556. >Not even seeing where it went.
  557. >You then hear a splat and the sound of shattering glass, signifying it made contact with something or someone.
  558. >You do not turn to see what it hit, you just stand nervously and hope to god this doesn't backfire too hard.
  559. >”I'm mad.”
  560. >Someone somewhere said.
  561. >After that there are a barrage of several different foods that are now flying in the air.
  562. >Other pasta bowls.
  563. >Slices of Pizza.
  564. >Soup.
  565. >Someone's backpack
  566. >Yelling and panic setting in amongst the masses.
  567. >Some other students even devolved into fist fights.
  568. >You take a quick look at your table and everyone is looking at you with a sort of confused anger.
  569. >”Anon! What the hay!?”
  570. >AppleJack yells at you while she ducks a carton of milk that flew past her.
  571. “It's the only way!”
  572. >You yell back as you make your way into the chaos.
  573. >But before you could join in on the fun, you feel a heavy hand grab the back of your shirt.
  574. >You feel a great force pull you from the madness and start to drag you out from the cafeteria.
  575. >You look behind you and you see that the school's security guard is now escorting you down the hall.
  576. >”Very funny Charlie Cloplin.”
  577. >The security guard is unimpressed with your antics.
  578. >You don't offer much resistance since you are sure he is escorting you to the Principals office.
  579. >”We'll see how funny you are when you're face to face with the Principal.”
  580. >Bingo.
  581. >All according to keikaku.
  582. >A few minutes later you are finally taken into Principal Celestia's office.
  583. >She was sitting at her desk on the phone with one hand and her other hand on her forehead.
  584. >She was messaging her forehead with her free hand to probably calm the headache she probably has.
  585. >Once she looks over to you entering her office she now looks visibly annoyed.
  586. >She lets out a huge sigh and looks to the school security guard.
  587. >”Here's your instigator.”
  588. >He says as he lets you go in front of the Principal.
  589. >”Thank you. Can you please head back to the cafeteria to help calm things down?”
  590. >The guard nods and leaves you alone with Celestia.
  591. >Perfect.
  592. >Before you say anything to her, she is the first to speak up.
  593. >”Care to explain why you decided to incite a riot during finals week?”
  594. >She asks sternly.
  595. >No benevolence in her tone of voice like she usually has.
  596. “Actually, it wasn't a riot but a food fight.”
  597. >You try to correct her.
  598. >She wasn't having any of it as now she is looking a little more angry.
  599. “Look.”
  600. >You begin.
  601. “This was the only way I could get your attention.”
  602. >She sits back in her chair, looking a little confused.
  603. “I told you weeks ago that once I finished with Dash and her crew that I wanted to challenge you, but you've been purposefully avoiding me.”
  604. >You tell her.
  605. >Her reaction to this was less than pleasant,
  606. >She immediately stomps up from her seat and slams her hands on her desk.
  607. >”You did this to talk to me about some race!?”
  608. >She raised her voice.
  609. >A fury of such you have never seem from her before.
  610. >She seems to be emitting a more ferocious aura than the old Principal from Crystal Prep.
  611. >”Are you-!?”
  612. >She stopped herself from continuing her question.
  613. >She then stands straight up.
  614. >Takes a deep breath.
  615. >And sits back into her chair while shaking her head.
  616. >”I'm giving you detention for the rest of the school year.”
  617. >Well there's only two weeks left so that's nothing really.
  618. >”And I am THIS close to barring you from walking the stage at graduation!”
  619. >She holds up her thumb and index finger to indicate how close she was to doing so.
  620. >You can't even see the gap in between her fingers.
  621. >”You are going to turn around and walk out of this office without another word.”
  622. >She commands.
  623. >You're getting mad yourself and you try to speak up.
  624. >Before you could say another word she shoots you a glare that pierced right through your soul.
  625. >”This is my last warning, Mr. Anonymous. Another word out of you and you're barred.”
  626. >The stern voice of a leader.
  627. >It's not like you cared about walking some stage for graduation.
  628. >But your parents do.
  629. >You complied.
  630. >But after a quick second of glaring at her yourself.
  631. >Finally you walk out of her office.
  632. >The next day the others start to interrogate you as to why you caused the commotion yesterday.
  633. >And asked what principal Celestia did to you.
  634. >You told them you promise you would tell them later.
  635. >And that you have detention for the remainder of the school year.
  636. >The rest of the week goes by at a snails pace.
  637. >Mostly because finals are a slog.
  638. >One good thing, or bad depending on how you look at it, is now that you're officially with the girls, you are with them as part of a study group.
  639. >You've spent some time at Twilight's house with the rest of the girls and the Speed Stars for intense study sessions.
  640. >It mostly does help in calming your nerves for the tests.
  641. >Once Friday at school is done and you're out of detention you feel mostly like a free man.
  642. >Now that finals are done all classes next week are just going to be glorified hang out days.
  643. >That night at the races there wasn't anything too interesting going on.
  644. >Rainbow Dash did, in fact, return and officially joined up with you and the rest.
  645. >So now everything is right with the world.
  646. >Mostly.
  647. >Saturday night.
  648. >Since your last attempts to confront Celestia at school went nowhere, you are back to stalking her at the only place you know she frequents.
  649. >At this point you'll stake this place out every Saturday until you find her.
  650. >Even if it takes weeks.
  651. >Or months.
  652. >Or even years.
  653. >You'll get to her.
  654. >You make your way to the venue and scan the parking lot for the sure signs they were there.
  655. >Just your luck, you notice Luna's black Maserati in the lot.
  656. >You park your car and try to enter the establishment.
  657. >The same bouncer from last time is there and immediately recognizes you and pulls out his phone.
  658. >”Hold it right there!”
  659. >He raises his voice.
  660. >”You take one more step and I will call the police for trespassing!”
  661. >He threatens.
  662. >You throw up your arms to the side.
  663. “Oh come on, I just need to see one person in there for a single minute!”
  664. >You argue back.
  665. >The bouncer starts to swipe at his phone.
  666. >”Last warning!”
  667. >God damn it!
  668. >You slowly step back.
  669. >You flip the bouncer the bird in frustration and walk away.
  670. >This isn't over.
  671. >You simply sit in your car but you do not leave.
  672. >You just make sure the Z is in a spot the bouncer can't notice you.
  673. >And you just wait.
  674. (https://youtu.be/p5SjPfwvyVs [Eurobeat Brony feat. Odyssey - Luna 2018(Dream Mode) - Single])
  675. >You sit patiently in your car.
  676. >Keeping a close eye on the entrance.
  677. >Waiting for your targets to exit the building for the night.
  678. >After a little over two hours of waiting.
  679. >They finally show themselves.
  680. >The two sisters make their way through the parking lot and to Luna's car.
  681. >Luna hops in the drivers seat whilst Celestia gets in the passenger's.
  682. >The car comes to life with a loud roar from the car's exhaust.
  683. >There are some mods on it for sure.
  684. >You then start up your own car but still wait for them to make a move.
  685. >The Maserati then backs out of it's parking spot and slowly makes it's way to the exit of the lot.
  686. >Once it enters the street you then make your way out of the parking lot.
  687. >You quickly gain on the car but still try to remain at least one car behind them as you're sure they know what your car is.
  688. >Luna then turns into the on ramp to enter the highway.
  689. >You immediately follow suit.
  690.
  691. >Be Luna.
  692. >Vice Principal of Canterlot High School.
  693. >You are on your way home from another satisfactory night out at the Jazz club.
  694. >Being an administrator of a high school is among the most under appreciated professions.
  695. >The stress level can escalate quite high.
  696. >Especially during end of year finals.
  697. >These nights out with your sister are one of the few luxury’s you both share a common bond with that you can enjoy and unwind together.
  698. >Tonight's performances were satisfactory.
  699. >Nothing special and certainly nothing bad.
  700. >And while your sister and you have vastly different tastes in Jazz styles, there is usually something you both can agree on that was an enjoyable experience.
  701. >This time, however, your sister and you got into an argument about the performance of-
  702. >Someone is quickly approaching your rear.
  703. >You can't immediately tell who or what it is but they are moving with purpose.
  704. >You move into another lane to let the car pass, but they just get into the same lane as you.
  705. >The mysterious car is now on your tail and you can now make out some of it's features
  706. >Red sides and a black hood.
  707. >Round headlights that start to flash their high beams at you.
  708. >Signaling for a race.
  709. >You haven't been challenged in quite some time, who could possibly be foolish enough to do so?
  710. >You try to focus your sight on who was driving and you can barely make out someone with green skin.
  711. >Green skin.
  712. >Red car, round headlights.
  713. “Sister.”
  714. >You call out to your passenger in a bitter tone.
  715. >She doesn't say anything but you can tell she was listening to you so you continue.
  716. “It seems like there is still a problem we must address.”
  717. >Again, she doesn't respond.
  718. >This time though, you look to her and see that she is now looking in your rear view mirror.
  719. >She sees the young man in the car behind you.
  720. >Her face now puts on this mixture of annoyed and disgusted like look.
  721. >Like the kind of annoyed you get when there is a fly that is too close to you.
  722. >Not that Anonymous is a fly but he has been a bit too persistent these past few weeks.
  723. >She looks like she wants to figuratively swat the fly and she then takes her attention away from the child and closes her eyes.
  724. >”Smoke him.”
  725. >She tells you.
  726. >You then bring your attention back in front of you.
  727. >You feel a bit of anger.
  728. >Then your foot slams on the gas and you click the right paddle shifter on your steering wheel.
  729. >You then bolt ahead.
  730. >Leaving the child and his Z in the dust.
  731. >Yes you were a street racer in the past.
  732. >Much like your older sister, Celestia
  733. >Not as well known as her.
  734. >But you had your moments of glory in the past.
  735. >Only for them to be overshadowed by her.
  736. >Every time.
  737. >You were one year younger than Celestia.
  738. >Even when you were admitted into Canterlot High School, you still had to wait a few years before the Speed Stars to accept you.
  739. >Even with your sisters reputation and recommendation.
  740. >You didn't show promise like Celly did.
  741. >She was always the golden child.
  742. >Always praised by the leading members.
  743. >Usually got the better match-ups.
  744. >Many in the group at the time pegged her as the highly touted successor for when Dadanon retired from the group.
  745. >You wanted to be mad at Celestia.
  746. >You wanted to be bitter.
  747. >But you just couldn't.
  748. >And you were, for the longest time while in the group.
  749. >But at the end of the day, Celestia truly was better than you.
  750. >And you just had to accept it.
  751. >But you won't accept this.
  752. >This child behind you is nothing more than a spoiled brat who cries and whines when he doesn't get what he wants.
  753. >Dadanon was a great street racer.
  754. >The greatest to have ever done it in your eyes.
  755. >But Anonymous is not even one tenth of the racer he was.
  756. >You know so because you were in the car all those months ago when Celly effortlessly defeated this kid.
  757. >You then look behind you and you can now see him slowly creeping up back to you.
  758. >You then remember him spouting some nonsense in the past about rebuilding the Z and you begin to wonder what was done.
  759. “Looks like that old clunker still has some fight left in it.”
  760. >You tell your sister in reference to the Z that was mastered by that boy's father.
  761. >”It's has a 2JZ Billet block engine with a sequential twin turbo system.”
  762. >Celly responds to your comment.
  763. >You take a quick loot to your older sister in a bit of a surprise.
  764. “How do you know this?”
  765. >She doesn't move from her seat nor look up still.
  766. >”Discord has been keeping tabs for me. He rebuilt that machine.”
  767. >She then looks up and to you.
  768. >”Do not take him lightly.”
  769. >You get a little more angry at that last comment.
  770. >And you go back to your task.
  771. >He is NOT passing you.
  772. >You feel like Celly is not giving you enough credit.
  773. >So you will have to show her.
  774. >A series of sharp 'S' curves quickly approaches and you ready your Maserati in the outer lane.
  775. >You make a series of successful drifts through the curves and swing out from the last turn.
  776. >You keep an eye on the rear view mirror for the kid to show himself.
  777. >And he does.
  778. >From the looks of it he easily made those turns and is once again gaining on you.
  779. >You start to weave through traffic and try to stay out of his line of view.
  780. >He seems to hang out on the opposite end of the road.
  781. >You briefly lose sight of him but don't let up on the gas.
  782. >A connecting exit ramp to the next highway is coming up and you prepare to make the sharp almost u-turn like turn.
  783. >Another look back into your rear view mirror and you cannot locate Anonymous.
  784. >No matter.
  785. >Just keep your focus and make this hair pin like turn and you'll be done with it.
  786. >While you wouldn't consider this a proper race, so long as you can make it to your exit without him passing you, you will consider that a victory.
  787. >You're just about ready to make the drift onto the ramp when you hear an unfamiliar turbo spooling.
  788. >The sound took you by surprise and you then look to your left and see that the kid has somehow sneaked his way to your side.
  789. >You try not to panic and still quickly steer into the ramp.
  790. >As does Anonymous,
  791. >His drift is right in front of you and both of you are merely centimeters apart.
  792. >You take a quick glance at the child through the windshield.
  793. >You both then lock eyes for a split second.
  794. >There is something different about him.
  795. >His aura.
  796. >The look on his face.
  797. >His overall demeanor.
  798. >A quick flash of Dadanon projects itself over the kid and quickly fades.
  799. >He exits the turn and you once again hear that powerful turbo spool and he jumps ahead.
  800. >You also make the turn successfully and try to gain momentum.
  801. >But he's slowly creating a distance between you two.
  802. >You're basically putting all your weight on the gas pedal.
  803. >You have shifted all the way to the highest gear.
  804. >He is still leaving you in his dust.
  805. >You are not sure what to think.
  806. >You then look over to your passenger.
  807. “Sister.”
  808. >You begin to say.
  809. >Not sure what would come out after that.
  810. “Did, did you just see that?”
  811. >She was looking out in front of her but she doesn't react too much
  812. >She just narrows her eyes and then closes them and then looks down.
  813. >You take the hint and ease off the gas pedal.
  814. >Your grip on the steering wheel then lightens and you feel yourself slouch in your seat.
  815. >You no longer see Anonymous in front of you.
  816. >A feeling of humiliation washes over you as your exit now comes into view.
  817. >You underestimated him.
  818. >No.
  819. >You took this seriously.
  820. >Perhaps he has improved by leaps and bounds since the last time.
  821. >You could take the easy way out and say it was his new engine.
  822. >But a powerful new engine can only take someone so far.
  823. >He showed more cunning and prowess than before.
  824. >This may get interesting.
  825.
  826. >Be Anon.
  827. >Heading home.
  828. >You just finished throwing your hail Mary by challenging and presumably defeating Luna with Celestia present.
  829. >It's pretty much your last hurrah.
  830. >And you hope it pays off.
  831. >You'll have to find out at school.
  832. >Now that finals are done there is nothing else to do at school except count the days down until it's all over.
  833. >It's funny.
  834. >Up until a few months ago you could not have cared less about the end of the school year.
  835. >But since then you have made so many new friends.
  836. >Now you are lamenting it and having feelings of lost time by not joining the racing scene earlier.
  837. >Sure, you'll still see them at the meets on Friday nights.
  838. >And you're sure you'll be doing more stuff with everyone now that everyone is all good with each other.
  839. >But it sucks that you missed all the shenanigans with them throughout your time in High School because you wanted to be the 'cool loner'.
  840. >Hell, given how many of the girls have taken a real liking to you, you're almost sure you could have banged most of them in the backseat of some cars in a timeless teenage staple.
  841. >But anyways, it is now graduation day.
  842. >There was a half day at school.
  843. >And then it was over.
  844. >Just like that.
  845. >As you prepare yourself for the graduation ceremony you are confronted by your father.
  846. >He beams at you with total pride in his face.
  847. >He quickly moves up to you and gives you a big hug.
  848. >”You did it, kid.”
  849. >He holds you tight in his arms for a moment.
  850. >Then slightly lightens his grip and pulls back but keeps you at arms length.
  851. >”Look at you, a man already.”
  852. >He tells you with a permanent smile on his face.
  853. >It's hard not match his happiness.
  854. >Then you see a single tear start to fall from his face.
  855. >He finally lets you go and then reaches into his coat pocket and pulls out a few pink slips.
  856. >He hesitates for a moment and then hands the papers to you.
  857. >”Congratulations son.”
  858. >You the the slips from his hand.
  859. >”The Z is officially and legally yours.”
  860. >Your eyes widen and look at the slip.
  861. >It's the car's registration and bill of ownership transfer.
  862. >'Dadanonymous relinquishes ownership of Year:1973 Make:Datsun Model: 240z to Anonymous.'
  863. >Then there is a blank line for you to sign your signature to confirm change of ownership.
  864. >You then look back to your dad.
  865. “You sure?”
  866. >You say in a shaky tone.
  867. >He just nods.
  868. >”Not only that.”
  869. >He adds.
  870. >”As a bonus graduation present. You don't owe anything for the repairs or the upgraded parts.”
  871. >You then feel a tingle of emotion.
  872. >You almost want to cry now so you just hug your father again.
  873. >Most fathers get their sons a nice pen or something.
  874. >Rich fathers give their sons a super nice car.
  875. >But this is the greatest gift your father could ever give you.
  876. >Later on that afternoon you are all at the ceremony.
  877. >Everybody is there in their gown and sitting in their assigned seat.
  878. >Waiting for their name to be called up to the stage.
  879. >Principal Celestia is giving a speech about the future and regrets and all that jazz.
  880. >After her, Twilight Sparkle goes up and gives a speech of her own.
  881. >What with her being the Valedictorian and all.
  882. >At long last Principal Celestia starts to call out names for students to go up the stage and receive their diplomas from her.
  883. >One by one they head up there, she hands them the rolled up piece of paper that actually isn't your diploma but something to symbolize it.
  884. >Some students she shakes their hands.
  885. >Others she gives a quick hug.
  886. >Once your name is called you start to make your way up to the stage.
  887. >You both lock eyes as you head closer to her.
  888. >She has her benevolent aura around her again.
  889. >You take the paper from her and then she reaches to give you an embrace.
  890. >You follow her lead and go for the embrace yourself.
  891. >Now in mid hug, she holds you just a bit longer.
  892. >”This Saturday night, 11PM we meet at the Expressway entrance.”
  893. >She says in such a low tone that it's almost a whisper.
  894. >You are caught off guard by her comment but you try your best to not react too much at her apparent challenge.
  895. >She then breaks the embrace and you both pull back from each other.
  896. >She still has her soothing aura around her and her smile that of a beautiful majestic queen.
  897. >”Come alone.”
  898. >She tells you as she then grabs another rolled up sheet of paper for the next student.
  899. >You then move on as to not hold up the rest of the ceremony.
  900. >After it's all said and done, you regroup with your friends and embrace with each other.
  901. >Many of the girls are crying at the moment.
  902. >The more girls you hug and see them cry, the more emotional you start to get.
  903. >After it all you head out to AppleJack's barn where they are throwing a large graduation party.
  904. >Music.
  905. >Drinks.
  906. >Snacks.
  907. >Friends.
  908. >You even invite 4-Speed and Wallflower to this party.
  909. >You dance with all of them and they all share the same lament as yourself in that they wished you were all friends and teammates sooner to have had more good times.
  910. >After a while when the party dies down and it's only you and your team, you finally make the big revelation to them.
  911. >Needless to say they were all as shocked as you were.
  912. >You then start to tell them the history with her and the Speed Stars.
  913. >Finally, you end it by telling them that she has officially challenged you to a race this coming Saturday.
  914. >And that you must go alone.
  915. >This got a lot of protests from everyone.
  916. >But you were adamant that this must be done.
  917. >”Like hell we're gonna just sit back and let possibly the greatest street race ever to happen and not witness it!”
  918. >Rainbow Dash says defiantly.
  919. >”Yeah man, it's not like she can punish us anymore!”
  920. >Flash agrees with Dash and offers an understandable point.
  921. >But you still sigh.
  922. ”Looks like I'm already regretting telling you guys this.”
  923. >Then you look to them all again.
  924. “Look, I'm sure she's just doing this to keep it all a secret. She is a school principal after all.”
  925. >Twilight then speaks up.
  926. >”Yes, but since she was a member of the Canterlot Speed Stars, this could be looked at as an in team issue, which means we can all be involved.”
  927. >Everyone agrees and lightly cheers for Twilight's thought on the matter.
  928. >You sigh and don't try to argue with them anymore.
  929. >You can already tell this may be an interesting Saturday night.
  930.
  931. >The stage is set.
  932. >Date and time agreed upon.
  933. >No more running.
  934. >No more hiding.
  935. >No more chasing
  936. >Everything you have worked for.
  937. >It now comes down to one race.
  938. >It's been a few months since your first encounter with Celestia and her Porsche.
  939. >Since then you've met some new people.
  940. >Won some races.
  941. >And made some friends.
  942. >You can't say the previous loss didn't do more good than harm.
  943. >And it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows getting to this point.
  944. >But it no longer matters now.
  945. >You got her attention and it's going down.
  946. >Before that though, you take your Z into the shop and you go through one final check up to make sure everything is running perfectly.
  947. >Your dad and you take the car and engine apart to inspect and see if it's still holding up.
  948. >There are no warps in the engine block and all the pistons and camshafts look to still be in pristine condition.
  949. >Turbos are still good.
  950. >Brakes are fine.
  951. >Tires still have plenty of tread on them.
  952. >The Z is as good to go as it's ever going to be.
  953. >Saturday night.
  954. >You make your way to your Z.
  955. >Your phone is blowing up with texts from everyone trying to figure out where the race was going to be.
  956. >You intentionally ignore them all.
  957. >As you have said before, this was supposed to be a private matter.
  958. >No matter how logical Twilight's reasoning was.
  959. >You just hope they aren't stalking you.
  960. >Rainbow Dash now knows where you live.
  961. >You mentally check all of that out of your head.
  962. >Tonight is not the night for any side thoughts and distractions.
  963. >You head over to the other side of the city to where you agreed to meet Celestia.
  964. >During the drive you don't punch it or speed or anything.
  965. >You keep a steady pace the whole way there.
  966. >Trying to focus.
  967. >From the few instances you have seen of her style, you can almost say she is a mini version of your father.
  968. >Which is quite scary to think about.
  969. >You've been in the car with your dad and his driving is otherworldly.
  970. >But you have picked up a few things from that experience.
  971. >And it's what you think are going to be your only keys to winning tonight.
  972. >At long last, you made it to the furthest outer parts of the City limits.
  973. >It's not quite the industrial area but just a bit past it.
  974. >True to her word, You see Celestia's white Porsche sitting on the corner of an intersection.
  975. >Any time of day this intersection would be bustling with trucks and cars getting in and off the highway ramps.
  976. >This time of night it feels like an abandoned ghost town.
  977. >You finally roll your way right next to her car and you now see that her drivers side window is rolled down.
  978. >You reach over and manually roll your passenger's side window all the way down.
  979. >She doesn't take notice of you but she starts speaking.
  980. >”The C1 loop combined with the Mistmane corridor was a popular course back in the day.”
  981. >She finally looks to you.
  982. >”Your father and Bow Hotfoot used to run it all the time to settle their little squabbles back in the day.”
  983. >You take the hint.
  984. >That is a big route that covers nearly every major expressway in the city.
  985. >Looks like you're gonna be in it for the long haul.
  986. >She takes her attention away from you and back in front of her.
  987. >”The finish-line will be the end of the Friendship Bridge right at the exit of the City.”
  988. >You don't nod or acknowledge her.
  989. >You do the same and look ahead of you and both of you move towards the traffic light that will signal the start.
  990. (https://youtu.be/_mtqPRzxg5Y [Dave Rogers - The Final Countdown extended edit - Super Eurobeat])
  991. >You both stop at the line of the crosswalk.
  992. >Both of you begin to rev your engines.
  993. >Waiting for the red light to turn green.
  994. >Her engine has a unique sound different than many of the others that you have heard before.
  995. >You are sure Discord had a hand in building and tuning her car.
  996. >The traffic light horizontal to you starts to turn yellow.
  997. >With that visual cue you press down on your clutch and shift to first.
  998. >Your light turns green.
  999. >You let go of the clutch and slam on the gas.
1000. >The Z does it's now trademark wheelie and launches up the ramp.
1001. >Alongside Celestia and the Porsche.
1002. >You are both seemingly going at the same speed as neither of you take the lead.
1003. >Once on the highway you both go to opposite sides of the four lane road and keep a distance.
1004. >Swooping past semi's and taxi's that were still littered on the road at this time at night.
1005. >It's a long straightaway to start the race and you quickly shift all the way to sixth gear.
1006. >You are in maximum overdrive blur mode and you can still see Celestia and her Porsche right by your side.
1007. >This is only the beginning but you can already tell this is going to be a long race.
1008. >The first set of 'S' curves are very quickly approaching and you simply let off the gas.
1009. >These turns aren't as tight as other 'S' curves later in the route and all you really need to do here is angle your car right and you can glide through without having to turn too much.
1010. >You get the angle right and zip right past the curves.
1011. >Your move proved efficient as now you have taken a small lead.
1012. >But with the experience you've gained from the races you know this is nothing and there is still plenty of race left to go.
1013. >You are back at your max speed and are starting to build a little bit of a lead.
1014. >The next set of 'S' curves are now ahead and these are the same set of curves that Celestia used to embarrass you the first time you faced each other.
1015. >This time is different as you now used the powerslide to effectively float through the curves and lose little momentum.
1016. >Celestia seems to have pulled it off a little better as she whips into your rear view mirror with force and she is coming up behind you.
1017. >In a rare occasion in which you are in the lead and can see your opponent approaching behind you, you go for the cheap tactic of moving into the lane she is trying to pass you in.
1018. >She tries to go into other lanes and you follow suit.
1019. >You also try to keep your eye on your surroundings as she can easily send you into an unsuspecting car.
  1020. >Like you've done before.
1021. >And sure enough she tries just that but you don't bite.
1022. >Instead, just to be safe, you go into the opposite lane just to make the sure the pedestrian car doesn't panic run into you.
1023. >The car seems to have nerves of steel as they don't react and now Celestia and you are once again neck and neck going into the first tight turn connecting ramp to the next section.
1024. >During the ramp you try the power drift like your father and you did it well enough.
1025. >Celestia, however, has mastered it and blows past you during the turn.
1026. >You both come out of the ramp and on the new highway and while she is now ahead of you she is not running away like before.
1027. >You then see a familiar Pink car now right next to Celestia.
  1028. >Is that Pinkie Pie's 3000GT?
  1029. >It fucking is.
  1030. >They found you.
1031. >Celestia easily blows right past her and you are quick to follow.
1032. >As you go past the car you look to see both Fluttershy and Pinkie were in the car.
1033. >Flutts then quickly pulls up her phone and points to it to you before you lose sight of them by pulling ahead.
1034. >You quickly glance at your phone and see a text from her.
1035. >'Sorry, but we had to see this.'
1036. >A text from Fluttershy says.
1037. >Goddamnit they could ruin everything!
1038. >Celestia doesn't seem to steer too off course so perhaps she doesn't mind some small distractions.
1039. >Granted it's more of a distraction for you than it would be to her.
1040. >The only good thing right now is that you are on another straightaway so this is a long stretch of road before any 'S' curves or sharp turns rear their ugly heads to you.
1041. >You're able to reach Celestia's tail end and try to assert pressure to make her make a mistake.
1042. >You then notice on your side a neon green Foxbody Mustang.
1043. >Wallflower Blush has now entered the fray.
1044. >Her window is also rolled down and you can see Trixie in the passenger seat as well.
1045. >You can't pay too much attention to them as a new series of four consecutive 'S' curves quickly show up.
1046. >The first two curves are easy ones you can simply angle your Z in and zoom through like before.
1047. >The next two curves you have to swing your Z and drift through them.
1048. >You exit the curves still on Celestia's tail and then you see another onlooker.
  1049. >Vinyl Scratch's Nissan 350z.
1050. >Both you and Celestia have to break apart and go different paths and you are paired with Vinyl.
1051. >Again you look over and see her as well as Rarity in the passenger's seat and Rarity sits up in Vinyl's convertible to cheer you on.
1052. >You shoot them a glare and quickly go back to focusing on Celestia who is creating a distance between you two now.
1053. >You zoom past Vinyl's Z and try to stay in as straight of a line as you can and not to change lanes much to gain back as much momentum as you can.
1054. >Vinyl and Rarity are completely out of sight and another tight off ramp turn is up ahead.
1055. >Celestia moves to the outer lanes while you decide to attack the inner lanes.
1056. >As Celestia lets go of the gas to turn in, you quickly take advantage and jolt past her and then pull your e-brake and drift in.
1057. >Sure, you will lose some speed and momentum over this.
1058. >However, since you have pulled ahead of Celestia at the last minute she will have no choice but to adjust her own speed and momentum to yours as well if she doesn't want to crash into you.
  1059. >Which she does.
1060. >She tried to powerslide into you but she quickly readjusts after seeing your drift and you being in the way,
1061. >You both exit the ramp and are now on the northbound Expressway.
1062. >Once out on the main road, you hear a familiar muscle car engine roar.
1063. >In your rear view mirror you see the dark red headlights of Sunset Shimmer's custom BOSS 429.
1064. >You and Celestia are head to head once again and now add Sunset's Mustang in the mix.
1065. >It's a pretty powerful car as well and from what you can see inside the car, it would appear Twilight Sparkle is the passenger with Shimmer.
1066. >Twilight is using her phone to what looks like recording what she can of the race.
1067. >You shake your head and you look over to Celestia.
1068. >She has an intense look on her face but you cannot tell of she is angry or just that focused.
1069. >This long stretch of highway you find yourself having to deal with not only Celestia but now Sunset.
1070. >All three of your cars are going at equal speed and neither are pulling too ahead.
1071. >From another on ramp you now notice 4-Speed's yellow Civic Type-R joining in on the action.
1072. >He quickly moves behind you and at least keeps his distance.
1073. >You can make out 4-Speed and Flash Sentry in his passenger seat.
1074. >They seem to give you a thumbs up in approval and you just shoot them the middle finger back.
1075. >Finally at long last, a series of sharp 'S' curves approach and both you and Celestia attack the curves with speed.
1076. >Sunset immediately slows down and takes them as fast as she can, but as she admitted before she was not that great of a driver so you pull away from her.
1077. >4-Speed, on the other hand, easily makes the turns and is still behind you.
1078. >But not for long as you begin to power through and he quickly falls behind.
1079. >Once again it's just you and Celestia.
1080. >But you're sure there are a few more surprises along the way.
1081. >You are still side by side with Celestia and neither of you have been able to take a solid advantage.
1082. >It's almost unnerving so you try not to dwell too much on it.
1083. >After another long straightaway and nobody pulls ahead.
1084. >There is another tight connecting ramp to another highway.
1085. >There is another game of chicken to see which one of you will let go of the gas first to let the other take the lead.
1086. >Unfortunately you are the one to blink first and ease off the gas.
1087. >Celestia then pulls ahead and like some sort of magic trick she powerslides around the ramp.
1088. >You do so too but she did it at a higher speed than you and you begin to wonder what exactly is the difference.
1089. >It could be just the difference in your vehicles but it can't all be that.
1090. >You're once again going to need to figure it out quick.
1091. >Now that you are on the next section of the road Celestia is once again ahead.
1092. >She doesn't seem to be gaining any ground though so you try to spook some of the pedestrian cars to try and get Celestia off her groove.
1093. >It doesn't seem to work and some 'S' curves are quickly approaching.
1094. >You both float through them and then yet another connecting ramp that will lead to the outskirts of the City is already in view.
1095. >You attempt to copy Celestia and run through the tight turn at top speed.
1096. >It seems to work out this time as you find yourself right on Celestia's tail.
1097. >You both exit the turn onto one of the last sections of the course.
1098. >Once on the road you notice behind you that another car is gaining on the both of you.
1099. >It's features get a little more clear the closer it gets and you see it's wide body and orange color.
1100. >AppleJack and her GTO are now right on your tail.
1101. >Curious though is that she is the only one in her car which leaves one person out.
1102. >You then look ahead and in front of both Celestia and yourself is Rainbow Dash and her R8.
1103. >Both AJ and Dash then weave into their own lanes and are now neck and neck with you and Celestia.
1104. >Both you and Celestia look to your sides and she the girls who all give you a nod.
1105. >Celestia then looks to you with an angry look on her face and you can't help but look away.
1106. >You can't let this get to you yet,
1107. >Another set of tight 'S' curves approaches and you all make adjustments to make the turns.
1108. >You float on the outside of the curves while Celestia hangs on your side a little on the inside and right next to her is Dash followed by AJ.
1109. >Exiting the curves and you and Celestia are once again head to head with Dash and AJ close behind.
1110. >This is a long stretch of road and you all make your top speeds and you start to pull ahead of everyone.
1111. >Celestia hangs just behind you on your tail.
1112. >Followed by both AJ and Dash who are together still in the back.
1113. >You're finally getting a lead and now one of the last few connecting ramps is coming up.
1114. >You decide to hang on the inside of the ramp and power through the turn.
1115. >Celestia closely follows behind along with Dash and then AJ.
1116. >You all exit the turn into the last few straightaways.
1117. >Everyone not wavering and you can't seem to shake off AJ and Dash.
1118. >You and Celestia are still close to each other.
1119. >Both Dash and AJ are starting to fall behind.
1120. >You then notice some flashing lights.
  1121. >Red and blue flashes.
  1122. >Well shit.
1123. >After all this time you've never drawn the ire of the police.
  1124. >Until tonight.
1125. >You can now see two police cruisers starting to catch up to you all.
1126. >Shit this is about to get messy.
1127. >Then you see AJ and Dash start to block their paths.
1128. >Seemingly being the sacrificial lambs for you and Celestia to finish the race.
1129. >The cops seem to take the bait and follow the girls as they now head off the exit of the highway.
  1130. >Now it's just you two.
1131. >But you feel like that won't last for long as you are sure they have called for backup.
1132. >Thankfully there is just one more ramp and the final straightaway left.
1133. >Which is now coming into view.
1134. >The final ramp is up ahead and you both do your drifts and slides.
1135. >At the very end of the turn though, there are two pedestrian cars in each lane of the off ramp and both of you notice them at the last minute thanks to your speed.
1136. >This then causes both of you to slam on your brakes and cause you both to almost spin out.
1137. >You let go of the gas and wheel and let it spin and you do a 180 but you quickly grab a hold of the wheel once you notice the car is pointing back in the right direction.
1138. >You have stopped right at the entrance of the final straightaway
1139. >In a panic you look around and see that Celestia has as well straightened her car.
1140. >You both exchanged a panicked look and both of you once again begin to floor it.
1141. >Once again in the final stretch it's all a matter of whose car can produce the most power.
1142. >Ever after shifting all the way up to sixth gear.
1143. >Even in maximum blur overdrive.
1144. >You still can't seem to shake off Celestia.
1145. >There are no more distractions.
  1146. >No more excuses.
1147. >The Friendship Bridge signifying the end of the City and end of the race is approaching.
1148. >You both are still neck and neck.
  1149. >It can't end like this.
  1150. >Not after everything you've been through.
1151. >But Celestia doesn't budge from her spot next to you as you both cross the line at the end of the Friendship Bridge.
  1152. >The race is over.
1153. >All signs point to a fucking tie.
1154. >You ease off the gas.
  1155. >As does Celestia.
1156. >You both just cruise for a few extra minutes as the scenery around you gets less urban and more rural.
1157. >You look over to Celestia and she nods her head to follow you to the next exit.
1158. >Nodding yourself, you slow down some more and get behind her and you both exit at the next off ramp.
1159. >Right off the highway you spot a truckers stop with a convenience store.
1160. >Which is where Celestia is leading you.
1161. >At this time of night the large parking lot is filled with rows of large eighteen wheelers parked for the night.
1162. >Both you and Celestia roll up to the building of the store and backwards park next to each other.
1163. >You simply just sit there for a minute in your car.
1164. >Thinking of everything that could have gone differently.
1165. >And the only thing you can really think of is just that last fuck up at the end.
1166. >If you could count that as a fuck up.
1167. >It's a race on public roads so stuff like that should be expected.
1168. >But of all times for it to have happened.
1169. >You then think back to when your father detuned the Z to have less horsepower.
1170. >If it were still a thousand HP would it have truly made the difference?
1171. >Even in your relaxed state your mind is still going a million miles a minute when-
  1172. >”Hey.”
1173. >You snap back to reality and look out your drivers window.
1174. >Celestia is leaning on the Z, looking in to you.
  1175. “Uh?”
1176. >Is all you could muster.
1177. >”Would you like something to drink?”
  1178. >She asks.
  1179. >You think for a second.
1180. >You are starting to get thirsty.
1181. “Just a bottle of water is fine.”
  1182. >You meekly tell her.
1183. >She nods and walks off into the store.
1184. >You finally unbuckle your seat belt and climb out of your car.
1185. >You take a deep breath, inhaling the smells of gasoline, asphalt and nature all in one.
1186. >Then you plop yourself on the corner of your Z while you wait for Celestia to come back.
  1187.
  1188. (https://youtu.be/JT9DWtjVEcc [Yoko Shimomura - Ryu's Ending - Street Fighter 2 OST])
1189. >Not long after you rest on your car she does return to you.
1190. >She hands you a one liter bottle of spring water and then she takes her seat on the corner of her Porsche directly across from you.
1191. >She has a twenty four ounce can of beer in her hand.
1192. >She pops the tab and starts to chug it like a pro.
1193. >You sit there watching in awe.
1194. >She finished chugging what looks like half the can and she lets out a long sigh of relief.
  1195. >”Ah, I haven't had a race like that in a very long time.”
1196. >She says while leaning back on her free hand that was resting on the hood of her Porsche.
1197. >You take a quick glance at her body that was suspiciously accented through her tight clothing.
1198. >She was simply wearing a tight buttoned up white shirt with the upper half undone.
1199. >Showing off her cleavage and you can barely make out her yellow laced bra.
1200. >Her purple slacks hug her thighs but hang loose down at her ankles.
1201. >You feel you should say something before she notices you checking her out.
  1202. “Yeah, well Iugher.”
  1203. >Smooth move ex lax.
1204. >You look away from her and quickly unscrew the cap to your water bottle and chug yourself.
1205. >Celestia lightly laughs at your awkwardness.
  1206. >”Something the matter?”
1207. >She asks in this motherly tone.
1208. >You shake your head and then you look down at your water bottle.
1209. >You can then hear Celestia chuckle some more.
1210. >”Are you still hung up on our race?”
1211. >Now you look up to Celestia.
1212. >She has a smug smile on her face as she is now leaning forward and resting her forearms on her knees.
1213. >Her cleavage and bra in full glorious view from your view point.
1214. >You feel a small bit of heat flush your cheeks and you sit up an try to collect yourself.
1215. “All the hard work these past few months and it all ends in a draw.”
1216. >You say out loud as you look away and take another drink out of your bottle.
  1217. >Celestia sighs.
1218. >”Would you feel better if we just said you won?”
  1219. >She suggests.
1220. >”After all, it was too close to call.”
1221. >You quickly shoot your gaze back at her with a glare.
  1222. “Fuck no.”
1223. >You say all too fast.
  1224. >Celestia then sits up.
1225. >”Well then quit your bitching.”
1226. >She tells you plainly as she takes another chug of her beer.
1227. >That caught you off guard.
  1228. >Principal Celestia.
1229. >The kind, benevolent and motherly head of Canterlot High School.
1230. >Rude manners and swearing and her overall appearance right now.
1231. >Like she's some sort of human and not some royal demigod.
1232. >”Seriously, you're going to lose in life and it's much more better to lose and to learn from those loses.”
1233. >She starts to lecture you on life and racing.
  1234. “My dad never lost.”
1235. >You pout to her like some child.
1236. >She then scoffs at you.
1237. >”He may have never lost a race, but I'd wager he lost something a lot more precious by not.”
  1238. >Your eyes go wide
1239. >You then immediately remember your conversation with him about Pear Butter and Bow Hotfoot.
1240. >'In the long run you'll make more enemies than you will friends.'
1241. >Those words ring in your head once again from you conversations with your father.
1242. >”Even back then, the writing was on the wall about how both Bow and Pear felt about him. Even more tragic that Pear was smitten with him. But he couldn't see it.”
1243. >She pauses for a moment and then continues.
1244. >”Well, most of the girls at the time were smitten by him. Me included.”
1245. >She shakes her head and takes another chug from her can.
1246. >”You aren't your father, and perhaps that is for the best.”
1247. >You're not sure about that, seems like most of the girls are smitten by you.
1248. >Although you are aware of it, so maybe there was some truth to it.
1249. >And the way she said that to you made it not feel as bad as you wanted to make it out to be.
1250. >”Learn from your failures, and you will become better than him.”
  1251. >Nice words of encouragement.
  1252. “I don't know.”
  1253. >You sigh.
1254. “I felt like I raced a perfect race against you and I couldn't come out on top.”
  1255. >Celestia then laughs again.
1256. >”Please, from what I saw out there tonight there are still flaws in your technique.”
1257. >You shoot your head back in shock.
  1258. “What!?”
  1259. >You say out loud.
  1260. “You're shitting me.”
1261. >She looks at you with another smug grin.
1262. >”No, Your steering needs a little more work, as well as your gear shifting.”
1263. >You sit the dumbfounded at her observations.
1264. >Especially since she was seeing this from her car during a race.
  1265. >Damn what a woman.
1266. >Celestia takes another large chug from her can of beer and finishes it off.
1267. >She then stands up from her seat on her Porsche to go and dispose of the beer can.
1268. >Then she makes her way back to in front of you.
1269. >”I suppose that is all she wrote for tonight. Think about what I said and I'm sure we'll cross paths again.”
1270. >She is about to turn to head back into her car when you speak up.
1271. “How will I find you without having to stalk you again?”
  1272. >She ponders for a moment.
1273. >Then she shrugs and pulls out her mobile phone.
1274. >”Give me your number then.”
1275. >You give her your number and she texts you.
1276. >Your phone vibrates again and you take it out to see an unfamiliar number with a message.
  1277. >'Celestia'
1278. >You now have her number.
1279. >Fuck it, you decide to try and have a little fun.
1280. “So, what if I wanted to reach out to just..., hang out?”
  1281. >She eyes you suspiciously.
  1282. >”Define 'hang out'.”
  1283. >She retorts back.
  1284. >You are holding back a chuckle.
  1285. “You know...”
1286. >You were only playing around but again you feel your cheeks flush red.
1287. >Celestia notices this and gasps and then laughs.
1288. >”Oh my god, are you seriously hitting on your Principal?”
1289. >She asks with an unimpressed look on her face.
  1290. “Hey, FORMER Principal.”
1291. >You point out to her.
1292. >She then rolls her eyes and rubs her forehead.
1293. >Then she moves up to you and plants a single kiss on your forehead.
1294. >”Beat me in a race and we'll go from there.”
1295. >She tells you as she finally makes her way back to her Porsche.
1296. >She gets in and turns the car on.
1297. >Just before she drives off she stares at you one more time through her open passenger side window.
1298. “I'll hold you to that!”
1299. >You tell her as she shakes her head again.
  1300. >”Good night Mr. Anonymous.”
1301. >She then slowly makes her way out of the parking lot and then drives off into the street.
1302. >You keep your eye on her until the car can no longer be seen.
1303. >After a few minutes of just sitting there and contemplating everything that happened, you finally finish your bottle of water and dispose of it.
1304. >You then make your way out of the truck stop parking lot and hop back on the highway back into Canterlot City.
  1305.
  1306. https://youtu.be/2yCjORA0ghY [lapix - Stop Motion - Eurobeat Re:BIBLE])
1307. >One night in the City.
1308. >You are cruising along the highway without a destination in mind as you normally do.
1309. >You have your windows rolled down to take in the blasts of cold air rushing by your ear from the high speeds.
1310. >The sounds of your 2JZ engine and the spooling of your turbo system are like music to your ears.
1311. >As you cruise along you pass by a fellow Speed Star.
  1312. >Vinyl Scratch and her white 350z.
1313. >She sees you and smiles and nods to you.
1314. >You nod back at her and zoom past her.
1315. >Further along the highway you run into one of your newer members.
1316. >Fluttershy and her faded pale yellow 2003 Volkswagen Beetle Turbo S.
1317. >You drive by her and she gives you a cute smile.
1318. >You smile back and move on.
1319. >Heading further along the highway you pass by another fellow team member.
1320. >Now it was Trixie and her light blue MR2.
1321. >She gestures to you by waving her hands like a magic trick.
1322. >You give her a thumbs up and move past her.
1323. >Further along you catch up with another Speed Star.
  1324. >Pinkie Pie and her hot pink 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4.
1325. >She sees you and violently waves to you.
1326. >You give her the peace sign and move on from her.
1327. >Like clock work you are approaching another member.
1328. >Now it was Rarity with her pearl white 2003 Lexus IS300.
1329. >She blows you a kiss as you drive up to her.
1330. >Then from behind her in the passenger's seat is Sweetie Belle who energetically waves to you.
1331. >You act like you catch Rarity's kiss and slap your cheek with your hand and then you wave to Sweetie Belle with a big smile on your face.
1332. >Rarity laughs at your gesture and you move on up ahead.
1333. >Next in the line of Speed Stars on the road is Wallflower Blush and her Neon green Mustang Foxbody.
1334. >She meekly smiles and waves to you.
1335. >You give her a warm smile and nod in her direction and move on past her.
1336. >Next up is Twilight Sparkle in her chrome midnight purple 2008 BMW M5 E60.
1337. >She sees you and smiles and gives you a thumbs up.
1338. >You return the gesture and head on forward.
1339. >further along the highway there is Sunset Shimmer driving in her black 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429.
1340. >You meet with her and she smiles and winks at you.
1341. >You smile back and nod then you ride along past her.
1342. >After Sunset you now catch up with Flash Sentry with his 2003 midnight blue Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS.
1343. >He nods at you as you go past him but not before you return the gesture as well.
1344. >Right after Flash comes AppleJack and her brilliant orange 1970 Pontiac GTO 455 HO.
1345. >She tips her hat to you and winks to you.
1346. >You wave to her and nod back as you now go on ahead of her.
1347. >Further along you now finally run into 4-Speed with his 1997 spoon yellow Civic Type R.
1348. >You both give each other a simple nod and you roll along with him for a bit.
1349. >All the while, the rest of the Canterlot Speed Stars form a line in all four lanes.
1350. >The rulers of the streets.
1351. >Despite the results of the race with Celestia you finally celebrate the accomplishments you have made.
1352. >After a bit of riding with the rest of the crew you then move forward on.
1353. >You then finally catch up with Rainbow Dash and her baby blue 2010 Audi R8 V10.
1354. >You both just exchange smiles to each other and ride together for a while.
1355. >Then, you both come up on two exotic Supercars.
1356. >Dash gets into the left most lane in between you and one of the cars.
1357. >Once you both reach the care you see that it's Bow Hotfoot and his Laferrari.
1358. >And your dad with his Ford GT.
1359. >All four of you are now riding along side each other.
1360. >Then up ahead is an overpass.
1361. >All four of you look to each other and then smirk as if you all agreed to something.
1362. >A the overpass gets closer everyone puts on a serious face.
1363. >Once you all cross the overpass you all hit the gas pedals and the collective roars of generational racing and power fill the night sky.
  1364.
  1365. -END
  1366.
  1367. BONUS SCENE:
  1368.
1369. >Half way through Summer and things mostly have slowed down.
1370. >You still attend and conduct the races on Friday nights.
1371. >A lot more people come out during the Summer break as you have noticed.
1372. >Lots of people want to join the Canterlot Speed Stars as you are now the top of the scene.
1373. >You actively are not looking for new members.
1374. >You feel there are enough members as is.
1375. >But other than that, now you work more at the shop during Summer break just before heading off to College.
1376. >You're not going too far.
1377. >Canterlot University which is just one town over.
1378. >You'll be heading there for Business Management and Engineering.
  1379. >Seems like a solid plan.
1380. >To your shock, it turns out all 7 of the girls will also be attending the same College as well.
1381. >With all their varying interests it's a minor miracle one college offers everything they need.
1382. >But back at work, you are given a new role as you take the position as parts driver.
1383. >You basically fill a truck up and you drive all over and deliver parts to other Auto shops or garages.
1384. >It's pretty cool because you can explore the surrounding areas past Canterlot.
1385. >The girls, on the other hand, are also a rock band that tours during Summer.
  1386. >Guess they're popular enough for it.
  1387. >They even have a touring bus.
  1388. >A converted e350 shuttle bus from 1997.
1389. >You only know it's specifics because the girls have used their collective charms on you to get a discount at your dad's garage for a tune up.
  1390. >You tried to resist.
1391. >But seven hot girls giving you bedroom eyes gave you this delusional fantasy of an orgy with all of them that will never happen.
1392. >At least you weren't the only one who wasn't immune.
1393. >Discord was more than happy to take care of the bus, free of charge.
  1394. >Fucking old coomer.
1395. >Regardless, the work was done and the girls are happy.
1396. >The girls would invite you to all their shows.
1397. >You went to a few of them.
1398. >They were nothing life changing.
1399. >But you guess some of their stuff was catchy.
1400. >Most of the times you just undressed them with your eyes because why the hell not?
  1401.
1402. >As the Summer was drawing near an end and your first fall semester would begin in a few weeks, you start to prepare for the upcoming classes.
  1403. >Your phone then rings.
1404. >You look at the caller ID and see it's Rainbow Dash.
1405. >You then answer the call.
  1406. “What's up?”
1407. >Not really needing to say 'hello' to her.
  1408. >”Hey!”
1409. >She says in what seems like a rushed tone.
  1410. >”We need a huge favor!”
1411. >You sigh and sit up from your desk.
1412. “What do you want now?”
1413. >Trying your hardest not to sound annoyed.
1414. >”We really need you to drive us to our gig tonight in Appleloosa.”
1415. >You quickly sit up in your seat.
  1416. “What!?”
1417. >You raise your voice to almost a yell.
1418. “You know how far away that is!? Why would I agree to be your chauffeur?”
1419. >Rainbow Dash then lets out a childish whine.
1420. >”Come on! We need you right now.”
  1421. >She pleads.
1422. “Why me? Why not any of you?”
  1423. >You argue back.
1424. >”AJ's brother usually is the one driving us in our little tour bus, but he's really sick right now and and Granny Smith is too busy with something else.”
  1425. >She explains the situation.
1426. “Okay, but what about you? You're a pretty capable driver, as is AJ, and Rarity, and Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy.”
  1427. >You counter back again.
  1428. >She sighs in frustration.
1429. >”Look, none of us have really drove the bus before, and since you've had experience with larger trucks and stuff from your work, we thought you would be the quickest to adapt to driving it and get us there on time. Besides you're-”
  1430. >She pauses for a second.
1431. >You have an idea on where she was going.
  1432. “I'm what?”
  1433. >You ask in a teasing manner.
1434. >She grumbles some more and then sighs.
1435. >”You're the best driver we know.”
1436. >You can't help but dawn a big smile from ear to ear.
  1437. “Say that again?”
  1438. >You ask her.
1439. >She starts to growl but then stops.
1440. >”You're the best driver we know.”
1441. >She tells you again in a more annoyed and low tone.
1442. “Mmm, yeah, I like that.”
1443. >You say as if you are being pleasured.
  1444. >”Cut it out perv!”
  1445. >You start to chuckle.
1446. “Fine, I'll be your driver just this time.”
1447. >You sigh and finally agree to her dire need.
1448. “So, when do you need to be in Appleloosa by?”
  1449. >You ask.
  1450. >There is a long pause.
  1451. >”Uh, 5:30”
1452. >You look at the clock and it is currently 3:22
  1453. “WHAT!?”
1454. >You yell out loud while jumping out of your seat.
1455. “It takes two and a half hours to get the Appleloosa!”
1456. >You yell back at Dash.
  1457. >”I KNOW!!”
1458. >She yells right back in your ear.
1459. >”THAT'S WHY WE CALLED YOU IN A DIRE NEED!!”
1460. >You then hang up on her and run out of your room and to the garage.
1461. >For this time you grab the keys to the Z as you need to make a mad dash to...
1462. >Fuck, you don't even know where to meet them at.
1463. >There's not much time so you'll have to text them while driving.
1464. >By the time you get into the Z and head out of the garage there is already a text from Dash telling you they were all at AJ's barn.
1465. >Good, now there will be no distractions in getting there.
1466. >You make a mad dash to AppleJack's place in record time but you are already running way behind.
1467. >As you pull in to the long dirt road to the back of the house you see the bus in all it's gay pride glory.
  1468. >Baby blue.
  1469. >Rainbow Stripes.
  1470. >Hearts.
1471. >Various symbols that you're not sure mean anything but are plastered all over the bus.
1472. >You park your car and speed walk to the girls.
1473. >They are all very happy and relieved to see you.
1474. >”Thank you so much, Anon!”
  1475. >Pinkie chimes out.
1476. >”We owe you big time!”
  1477. >Sunset Shimmer also adds.
  1478. >You don't stand around at all.
  1479. “Less talk, more walk.”
1480. >You instruct them to all get on the bus so you can go now,
1481. >Everyone files in quickly and then you get in and hop in the drivers seat.
1482. >You close the folding door and turn the key to start the engine.
1483. >The engine's sound is a lot more aggressive than you think a Bus' engine should sound.
1484. >What the fuck did you do to this thing, Discord?
  1485. >Whatever, that's not important now.
1486. “Hold on to your sweet fine asses if you have 'em!”
1487. (https://youtu.be/dv13gl0a-FA [Dave Rogers - Deja Vu - Super Eurobeat])
1488. >You call out to the girls and shift into first gear.
  1489. >And you're off.
1490. >You slowly exit out of the drive way and make your way down the streets until you reached the highway.
1491. >That is when you let loose.
1492. >You punch the gas the the bus begins to hauls ass.
1493. >You and the girls are pushed back into your seats.
1494. >Holy shit this thing has an insane kick.
  1495. >Fuck this could help.
1496. >You begin to recklessly weave in between the traffic.
1497. >It's not quite rush hour but if you don't exit the City soon you're fucked.
1498. >While you've never driven a bus before, you have had experience with flatbed trucks with similar power and handling on a few occasions for work so that helps.
1499. >There are too many other cars on the road so any sort of powerslide or drift is not feasible on the off ramps.
  1500. >Especially in a bus...
1501. >It takes you a little time but you are now out of the city
1502. >The highways are a little more windy and less occupied so you begin to take the small curves at high speeds and some of the girls are complaining.
  1503. >”It's not a race Anon!”
1504. >Twilight has to yell over the sound of the definitely-Discord-modified engine roaring.
  1505. “Oh yes it is!'
1506. >You yell back to them.
  1507. “A race against TIME!”
1508. >You then exit off the highway in the middle of nowhere to the confusion of the girls.
1509. >”Where are you taking us!?”
  1510. >Dash yells.
  1511. >”This isn't the way to Appleloosa!”
1512. >She adds to her question.
  1513. “It's a shortcut I found while working as a driver!”
1514. >It's an old route that cuts through the mountain and forest.
1515. >It was used back in the day for trade routes but has kinda been obsolete since the highway was built.
1516. >But, to a good driver you can cut through all the bullshit and make it to Appleloosa in no time.
1517. >The road has uphill climbs and downhill drops and some hairpin turns along the way.
1518. >It's not the Mt Everfree mountain road, thank god.
  1519. >But it's a good road to run.
  1520. >But in a bus?
1521. >Well, we'll just have to find out.
1522. >The windy road tosses the girls in the back from one side of the bus to the other.
1523. >Are there no seatbelts back there on this thing?
  1524. >”WEEEE!!”
1525. >Pinkie of course is enjoying this.
1526. >The rest not so much.
1527. >For you this has been a blast.
1528. >Up ahead is the first hairpin turn.
1529. >You take a deep breath and brace yourself.
  1530. >”Anon, that's a hairpin turn!”
  1531. >AppleJack yells at you.
  1532. “Yes!”
  1533. >You answer back enthusiastically.
1534. >”Don't do this ya empty apple tree!”
1535. >You're not even sure what that means.
1536. >Doesn't matter since you do it anyway.
1537. >You press hard on the brakes.
1538. >Pull the steering wheel all the way to the right.
  1539. >Pull the E-brake.
1540. >The back end of the bus then swings ahead and you need to quickly turn the wheel back left to straighten the bus so it doesn't spin out or flip over.
1541. >A quick glance in the rear view mirror and you see some of the girls get tossed from one side of the bus to the other.
1542. >There are many high pitched screams behind you.
  1543. >You did it.
  1544. >You successfully drifted a bus.
1545. >It took the entire two lane road.
  1546. >But you did it.
1547. >Now you just hope there are no other oncoming cars so you can do it again.
  1548. >You're getting a rush from this.
  1549. >”Damnit Anon slow down!!”
1550. >Twilight Sparkle screams at the top of her lungs.
1551. >Another hairpin turn up ahead.
1552. >You only smile as you make another successful drift.
1553. >This time the girls are tossed the other direction and now some of their equipment are now flying all over the back.
1554. >More screams from the girls as this time you notice poor Fluttershy and Rarity get tossed from the right side of the bus to the left.
1555. >”Anon seriously you didn't need to go to this extreme!”
1556. >Sunset Shimmer yells at you while holding on to her seat for dear life.
1557. “You wanna be late or do you wanna be on time!?”
1558. >You yell back at the girls.
1559. >Only taking another glimpse in the back.
1560. >Some of the girls are laying on the floor and some of their luggage is all over as well.
  1561. >”I WANNA LIVVVVVE!!!”
1562. >Rarity screams at the top of her lungs and whines in her last word.
1563. >You just start cackling like a madman as you blaze through this quaint mountain and forest road.
1564. >It was almost two hours of this.
1565. >Two glorious and ear shattering hours of drifts and screams.
1566. >You make it to Appleloosa.
  1567. >The current time is 5:12
  1568. >Goddamn you are good.
1569. >You reach the outdoor amphitheater with some time to spare.
1570. >You then park the bus and open the sliding door.
1571. >The girls file out in a groggy zombie like state and Applejack even begins to puke in a bush as soon as she steps off the bus.
1572. >Fluttershy falls to all four and begins to hug the ground.
  1573. >”Oh how I missed you!”
1574. >You however, have this afterglow like you just had the best sex of your life.
1575. >Perhaps they'll think twice before having you drive them somewhere.
