Hearthswarming Gift (NSFW)

Expiry: Never

  1. >Cold air bites through the pegasus' plush coat as she grits her teeth and squints her watering eyes against the winter onslaught.
  2. >A mixture of mild profanities follows her haphazard trail through the glittery sky.
  3. >Though nopony in their right mind would be flying close enough to hear her in these icing conditions.
  4. >"Way to go! Forgetting to bring the freaking present to the party!"
  5. >A hoof pats her full saddlebag just to make sure she wasn't losing her marbles.
  6. >She huffs and bursts forward with another flap of her potent wings.
  7. >Her tone was harsh enough to make a hydra cower...if her ire wasn't in fact directed towards herself.
  8. >She was running late to begin with and it didn't help when she remembered she'd forgotten the gift halfway there.
  9. >A burst of color pops forth from the sea of mottled white on the winter landscape, marking her target.
  10. >A sudden warmth rushes to her cheeks to push back the creeping cold.
  11. >Had it been any other day, and had she been going to meet any other pony for any other reason--one might think she was merely flushed from exertion.
  12. >Only today was Hearthswarming.
  13. >And she wasn't meeting a pony.
  14. >She takes a deep breath and bats her mane back in place before descending from her hovering perch in the open sky.
  15. >Alert, magenta eyes survey the joyous landscape as she glides overhead.
  16. >She returns a few waves with one of her own but she can't force a smile upon her focused features.
  17. >The whole frozen park and snowy tree line was covered with various pastel ponies enjoying winter sports.
  18. >If it weren't for her immaculate conviction, the mare might've stopped and joined in.
  19. >Today, however, the most exciting adventure would be mundane compared to the mission at hoof.
  20. >"Rainbow Dash!"
  21. >Her name catches her attention and she beelines for the purple mare staring up at her amidst a sea of giggling foals and snowponies.
  22. >"There you are! We were all wondering when you'd get here."
  23. >"Yeah sorry Twilight I was running late." The cyan pegasus looks around impatiently, hesitant to land on her hooves.
  24. >"There's cupcakes and hot coco by the--"
  25. >"--Have you seen Anon?"
  26. >Twilight pauses out of curiosity rather than annoyance, "Yeah, but not recently. He left shortly after the party kicked off."
  27. >Rainbow's withers slouch in disappointment, "Dangit! Did you see where he went?"
  28. >"Uh, no, sorry. What's bothering you?" Her concern for her friend was as genuine as it gets; it was unusual for the chipper cyan pegasus to be so serious on a day like today.
  29. >Dash finally drops to her hooves but accidentally crushes a small snowpony that'd blended into the rest of the white ground.
  30. >Guilt flashes across her features and she tucks her ears.
  31. >She cautiously stomps the rest of the snow flat to hide the crime, offering a timid smile to Twilight's disapproving expression.
  32. >"Heh, uh...weird place to put a snowpony." She looks around to ensure no witnesses.
  33. >"Weird place to land."
  34. >"Yeah uh, anyways, I told Anon to meet me here, but I had to grab something first."
  35. >Twilight quirks a brow, "You know we were planning on trading our presents after dinner at AppleJack's, right?"
  36. >She grows suddenly defensive, "Hey! It's supposed to be a secret!"
  37. >The purple mare tries to hide a smile, "If you wanted it to be a secret you shouldn't have fought Rarity when she drew his name out of the hat."
  38. >Dash can't hold her knowing gaze, "I didn't fight her, I just hang out with him more so it makes sense that I'd get him something!"
  39. >Twilight sighs.
  40. >Normally, the rainbow mare wasn't so eager to play the Hearthwarming game of giving.
  41. >She was generous, but picking out presents wasn't really her forte.
  42. >Then again, this was the first year Anon's name was tossed into the drawing.
  43. >There'd been a lot of firsts since they'd all gotten to know him.
  44. >"Well he's never been one for parties so he's probably long gone, I'm sure you'll see him at the farm tonight."
  45. >Dash's face lights up with a bright idea, "That's it! Thanks Twi I knew you were smart enough to figure this out!"
  46. >With a rush of wind and flurry of snow, the athlete takes off and rockets away, leaving Twilight dumbfounded.
  47. >"Not smart enough to know what I figured out...apparently."
  48. >She shrugs and turns her attention back to a group of teary-eyed fillies staring at their flattened snow pony.
  49. >The sum of her frustration escapes in a sky-rattling, "RAINBOW!"
  50.
  51. "DASH!"
  52. >The sound of her name carried on a distinct masculine voice causes her to dip her wing and circle.
  53. >She searches the spot of snowy forest beside the frozen lake for her friend.
  54. >He never was one for large crowds which is why she had the idea of looking for him by one of their favorite reading spots.
  55. >She searches but can't find him.
  56. >"Hide and seek huh?" She smirks before tucking her wings and diving into the forest.
  57. >She flares off her ludicrous speed ten feet from the ground, landing light on her hooves; a powerful downdraft shakes snow from nearby branches and sends a wave of freezing air through the trees.
  58. >The tingling in her feathers and ache in her wings gets her blood pumping and she takes a deep breath through her playful smile.
  59. >A billow of steam exits her nostrils as she adjusts to the silence of the forest.
  60. >In the distance she could hear ponies skating on the lake, branches groan under the weight of fresh snow, her own breath seems to echo.
  61. >A shiver runs up her spine.
  62. >As much as she hated to admit it, pegasi did indeed get cold.
  63. >She's so focused on fighting off a shiver that she doesn't hear the snowball whistling through the air.
  64. *thwack
  65. >Snow splatters across her rump.
  66. >"Hey!"
  67. >She turns just in time to dodge the next one and take cover.
  68. >"Oh it's on now buddy!" She smiles.
  69.
  70.
  71. >Your fingers start to go numb as you double fist snowballs.
  72. >It was impossible to walk silently through the snow.
  73. >Isolation in the quiet woods was starting to work against you as you crunched your way to your best friend's last known hiding spot.
  74. >You almost felt guilty that she'd actually come looking for you all the way out here.
  75. >Though it was probably a minute flight at most.
  76. >As much as you wanted to, socializing with dozens of ponies just wasn't part of your appetite today.
  77. >You preferred to choose your company.
  78. >Considering the caliber of snowball fight you've gotten into, you feel like you've chosen well.
  79. "Aaaand gotcha!"
  80. >You lunge around the tree only to find empty hoofprints.
  81. >A branch's worth of snow pours onto your head and you look up to find the cyan mare posing triumphantly in the tree.
  82. >"Heh, betcha didn't expect that-oopf!"
  83. >A snowball silences her.
  84. >She flies off and disappears rather quickly into the dense woods.
  85. >You thought her rainbow mane would make her easy to spot, but it seemed that tactics precluded any natural disadvantages.
  86. >Suddenly, cold snow hits you in the back of the neck and splatters down your shirt.
  87. "Aagh!"
  88. >You dance awkwardly to try and get the freezing cold out.
  89. >"Hahahaha!"
  90. >Twenty feet behind you the Rainbow mare laughs.
  91. "Why you!"
  92. >She dodges your retaliatory throw and returns another of her own.
  93. >You swat it out of the air and close the distance.
  94. >"You're getting slow, Anon!"
  95. "I don't know, I expected more from a Wonderbolt!"
  96. >Her eyes narrow as you circle around a small tree for cover.
  97. >"Then prepare to get your flank kicked!"
  98. >It was getting harder to form snowballs; your fingers were too cold.
  99. >Dash lunges forward to peg you with another snowball, and you get an idea
  100. >You allow her to land the hit and immediately sprint after her.
  101. >The sudden move catches her by surprise and she trips over her own hooves trying to get away.
  102. >She flounders in the ankle-deep snow, a look of pure skittish terror on her face as your frozen hands reach for her.
  103. >You can feel the silky strands of her colorful tail pass through your fingers just as she takes flight.
  104. >Time slows as air fills her wings and her lips twist into a triumphant grin.
  105. >That is, until she feels your grip on her hindhoof.
  106. >All of her momentum comes to a screeching halt and her body lands flat on the snow.
  107. >"Oof!"
  108. >She spins around, her hoof full of dangerous white powder.
  109. >You pin it to the ground above her head before she can take a swing, then take a moment to catch your breath.
  110. >One moment turns into several as you realize you're face-to-face with your opponent, her big shiny magenta eyes piercing straight into yours.
  111. "Hey."
  112. >Her heavy breaths carry visible humidity that warms your face.
  113. >"Hay is for horses."
  114. >You match her resulting smirk, secretly enjoying the exchange of warm air and body heat with your friend.
  115. >You can feel the residual adrenaline in her heartbeat. Her chest beats just under yours, her pulse is strong under the fur of her foreleg.
  116. >Miniscule, crystalline beads of moisture coat the thin fur of her muzzle and her cheeks are visibly flushed under her cyan coat.
  117. >Only now do you realize your position on top of the splayed pegasus might have something to do with that.
  118. >A chilly breeze drifts past and tickles the long, exposed fur of her legpit--sending a shiver through her.
  119. >You snap out of your daze and release her before rolling off of the puddle of pegasus.
  120. >She collects herself and sits up with you, rubbing her foreleg against her side to warm the nearly frosted sweat from her legpit.
  121. "Do you even have horses here?"
  122. >Her eyes take a second to muster the confidence to meet yours, "Whaddaya mean, dude?"
  123. "I mean, you all are ponies right?"
  124. >She nods, a smart-aleck grin slowly forms on her muzzle.
  125. "Are horses like some giant breed of pony that I've never seen?"
  126. >"Wait, you've never seen one?" Her ears perk back up making you realize they'd been folded since you'd pinned her.
  127. "N-no...haven't I?"
  128. >You're not sure what's real anymore.
  129. >"There's one right over there." You follow her hoof to the treeline.
  130. "I don't see any-waaagh!"
  131. >"Hahahaha!"
  132. >You try desperately to shimmy free of the hoofull of snow Dash just put down the back of your shirt.
  133. >"Aaaahahaha! You should see the look on your face!"
  134. >You jump up and down and shake your collar.
  135. "Ah it's stuck!"
  136. >"Hahahaha! I-pfft...I can't believe you thought horses were real!"
  137. "Oh no I still believe you." You finally compose yourself.
  138. >Dash's laughter turns to snickering as she fixes you with her smile.
  139. "I think I'm going to take you over there and have you introduce us." You walk towards her.
  140. >She backs up, "Heheh! I'm good thanks."
  141. "Are you?"
  142. >Her playful chuckling continues as she backs up faster.
  143. "Maybe you could use some snow in your legpits, I noticed you were starting to sweat."
  144. >"No-heheh! That was just for you."
  145. >You walk a bit faster.
  146. "How thoughtful of you. You must let me return the favor."
  147. >"It's good. I already have the-heh!...the gift of friendship-hahaha!"
  148. "No, really. It's no problem at all." Her humor was growing contagious.
  149. >"C'mon, don't you feel that-heh!..."
  150. "Maybe your belly button then?"
  151. >"...hahah-that friendship is enough-heheh!"
  152. >She kicks up snow as she tries to maintain the distance between you.
  153. "Well what kind of friend would I be if I let you get away with it!" You lunge after Dash.
  154. >"Nooo-hahaha!" She lets out a surprisingly girly squeal before bolting through the forest.
  155. >Her playful attitude kept her grounded so the game could continue.
  156. >She was much faster, but that didn't keep her from tempting fate seeing how close to you she could get and still escape.
  157. >Laughter and taunts keep you entertained until you find yourself at the frozen lake.
  158. >Dash hops on ahead, pausing to see if you'd follow.
  159. >The cold air and winter clothing meant you were winded after the bout through the woods.
  160. >You concede your defeat with a wave before collapsing on a nearby bench to catch your breath.
  161. >You hear no complaints from her as she trots past and takes up a spot on the bench a few inches away.
  162. >She puts her saddlebags beside her and ruffles her feathers.
  163. >A few ponies skate lazily on the ice, paying the odd pair of you no mind.
  164. >Dash glances over, but otherwise relaxes and soaks up the scenery.
  165. >You never would've thought the mile-a-minute mare would be capable of such a thing as a quiet moment.
  166. >She normally wasn't; but when you got her alone, you realized there was a lot more to her than just a postermare for a flying team.
  167. >Of course, she was a tough nut to crack; you had to earn her confidence through months of steady companionship.
  168. >It wasn't difficult to be her friend, your personalities meshed surprisingly well.
  169. >And where they didn't you found that you had a lot of patience for one another.
  170. >You'd learned so much from her, not just of her world, but about yourself and your place in all this.
  171. >She didn't go a single day without reminding you she was a world-class athlete one way or another, but she never used her status as national hero and Wonderbolt to distance herself.
  172. >In fact, she used it to give you backstage air show passes and seats in bought-out restaurants.
  173. >She'd walk proudly next to you so ponies wouldn't make you uncomfortable with their curious stares.
  174. >She used her reputation to bring you closer, and her organic way of going about it made you feel more at home than all of Pinkie's welcome parties and Twilight's formalities ever could.
  175. >That's when you realized just how soft and gooey she was under that tough shell, and how desperately you wanted to protect that.
  176. >You weren't naive enough to think you owed everything to her.
  177. >You live comfortably now because of the generosity of the town as a whole, and specifically Dash's friends.
  178. >But there was only one who stole your heart.
  179. "Sorry about leaving the festival, I assumed something came up so I figured I'd just see you later at AJ's."
  180. >She turns to you, "Don't worry about it. I was like twenty minutes late, I don't blame you."
  181. >She snuffs your sense of guilt with ease.
  182. "Did work hold you up or were you napping?"
  183. >Your disarming smile tipped off your sarcasm.
  184. >"Heh, no it was just uh..."
  185. >She draws a line through the snow with her hoof.
  186. >"...I didn't forget about you or anything."
  187. >For some reason her scratchy voice makes you feel a little less cold.
  188. "I know you didn't." You throw an arm around her shoulder to give her a squeeze.
  189. >Partly to distract from your blush, but mostly because she's huggable as heck.
  190. "And even if you did you're still my best bud." You dare to add on.
  191. >"Heh, thanks."
  192. >Being as close as you were meant there weren't a lot of things that weren't apparent between you.
  193. >The palpable affection you felt from each other were one of those unspoken truths of your friendship.
  194. >You felt unbelievably privileged to be privy to her rare emotions because as far as you could tell, she didn't show them to anyone else.
  195. >While hugs, ear rubs, and even cheek kisses were regularly exchanged in private, this one did nothing to quell your blush.
  196. >"Even W-Wonderbolts need to breathe ya know." She grunts.
  197. "Oh, yeah." You release her.
  198. >Much to your joy she doesn't slide away.
  199. >Her wing ruffles against your jacket and her fur starts to stand on end.
  200. "Are you alright? You look cold?"
  201. >She doesn't make eye contact until you challenge her toughness.
  202. >"N-N-No! Pegasi don't get c-cold!"
  203. >She tries to hide it but the tips of her mane are trembling.
  204. >You start taking your jacket off.
  205. "That's a new one. I'll file that right next to Wonderbolts don't get tired, and Rainbow Dash doesn't need to sleep."
  206. >She tucks her ears when you recount some of the bold claims you've heard her make.
  207. >They usually preceded a catastrophe of some sort, so she lets you get away with it...mostly.
  208. >"Why are you taking off your jacket?"
  209. >You sigh in mock frustration.
  210. "Because, miss Dash..." You muster a regal tone.
  211. >She can't keep her composure and still look at you, but her ear to ear grin is quite apparent.
  212. "It's below freezing and it's getting dusk."
  213. >She snickers as she stares blankly at the ponies on ice.
  214. "Underneath this jacket I have another layer of winter clothing." You pull your last arm free.
  215. >You lean into her, staring at her face until she turns to meet your eye.
  216. "And you, my little pony, are butt. Ass. Naked."
  217. >You punctuate each word with a boop on her cold nose.
  218. >Actually, her cold and runny nose.
  219. >You wipe your finger on your pants and she tries to giggle and sniffle at the same time.
  220. >"You oughtta try it sometime it's great!"
  221. >You chuckle and shake your head while wrapping the petite mare in your pre-warmed jacket.
  222. >Much to your surprise she doesn't fight it.
  223. >The sleeves are too long for her forelegs, but she bites the collar and pulls it around her; a soft coo can be heard as she ruffles her wings.
  224. >She even cooperates and rocks to the side so you can tuck the extra length under her rump.
  225. >You tried not to let your mind wander, but you don't know how she could tolerate the updraft between the wooden slats.
  226. >Once she's wrapped up, you pull her back into your shoulder and reach over to cup her frozen ears.
  227. >She practically melts into you, and even though your hands aren't warm they're a step up from the biting air.
  228. >To say it was a satisfying feeling wouldn't even approach an understatement.
  229. >Knowing she trusted you enough to surrender her care and even her balance to you made your heart stutter.
  230. >"Hey, didn't your shirt get wet from the snow?"
  231. "Yeah."
  232. >"I-Isn't it cold?" Concern starts to well in her voice.
  233. "Mhmm."
  234. >She pulls back.
  235. >"And you were just gonna sit there and freeze!" She huffs and starts unwrapping herself from the jacket.
  236. >You wrap her back up.
  237. "I was just going to let you feel guilty about snowballing me."
  238. >She can't bring herself to match your smile.
  239. >"Anon stop it." She fights with your hands to undress herself, "Quit! I'm not gonna let you freeze!"
  240. "Hey hey hey, it's alright I was just kidding!" She pauses to see if your expression is genuine.
  241. >She was getting really worked up about this.
  242. "I'm fine. Really."
  243. >You tuck her up and massage her ears again.
  244. "Especially since I've got a hot pegasus to keep me company."
  245. >She blushes.
  246. >Oh.
  247. "I didn't mean it like that I was just..."
  248. >"So I'm not hot?"
  249. "Yes, I mean no!"
  250. >She quirks a brow and grins, enjoying just how flustered you were getting.
  251. >"So that Wonderbolt's pinup you got of me is totally for collecting purposes?" She toys, referencing the huge poster of her posing in front of the team that was framed in your living room.
  252. "It's not a pinup! It's a poster and I got it because I thought it was cool and the stallion offered so I didn't want to be a jerk by not buying it because you were there and--"
  253. >"--I don't blame ya it's a good picture."
  254. "...Y-yeah."
  255. *Ahem
  256. "It is."
  257. >She sits there with a big goofy smile as she makes you endure the awkward silence.
  258. >All it accomplishes is making you uneasy.
  259. "Of course I think you're really very a-attractive, like objectively. I mean there's a reason your posters sold out at the last show so it'd be un-scientific to think--"
  260. >"--Anon."
  261. "Yeah?"
  262. >"I uh...I was late because I went back to get your present."
  263. >Your heart catches in your throat.
  264. >Did you make things too awkward for her?
  265. >Was she about to leave?
  266. >"I-I...I was afraid of giving it to you at the party cuz...well, it's kinda s-sappy."
  267. >Whatever fear you had dissipated at the sound of her unusually timid voice.
  268. "So you drew my name out of the hat, huh?"
  269. >You swallow the lump in your throat as you jump from one adrenaline high to another.
  270. >If you didn't blow it, what was this all about?
  271. >"Heh, I sorta made sure I drew yours." She sheepishly meets your eye with a guilty smirk, "I mean, I knew Rarity would get you something lame like a scarf or something..." She trails off.
  272. >You weren't sure what to make of it.
  273. "I'm sure you have nothing to worry about. Your friends wouldn't make fun of you for a heartfelt gift."
  274. >She doesn't buy it, "Well I just, I know how much you like watching me fly and since you can't be with me up there I sorta...I-I just wanted to...here..."
  275. >She hastily reaches for her saddlebag.
  276. >Opening it up she pulls out a leathery roll that's nearly the same color as the bag itself.
  277. >As it unfurls you immediately recognize it as the flight jacket she wore since she became a Wonderbolt.
  278. >She hoofs it over and watches anxiously as her cheeks start to glow.
  279. >You hold the weathered and battle-scarred jacket with the reverence it deserves.
  280. >It had been altered with extra material sewn in so it would fit your larger frame. The wing holes had been sewn into pockets and the arms lengthened.
  281. >But it was distinctly hers.
  282. "T-This is for...me?"
  283. >"Y-yeah, t-try it on." She bites her lip as she gauges your expression.
  284. >You cautiously slip into it as you examine it.
  285. >It was covered with various patches that she'd collected from all her airshows, including one of her own cutiemark.
  286. >The normally plush, mink interior was well worn but serviceable--complete with a few cyan hairs that hadn't gotten washed out.
  287. >What catches your eye the most, however, is the embroidery over the breast pocket.
  288. >It reads: 'Rainbow Dash's Wingman'
  289. >She hadn't just pulled something out of her closet, she'd chosen to offer you her most sentimental possession.
  290. >You could practically feel the weight of every victory and tragedy, every joy and tribulation she'd worn this through.
  291. >It was as authentic as it gets.
  292. >It even smelled like her.
  293. >"It's all yours, i-if you want it."
  294. >If you want it?
  295. >She'd just given part of herself to you.
  296. >The part she'd worked her whole life for.
  297. >There was no way the little jacket was anything short of your most prized possession.
  298. >You try to thank her but you can't breathe or speak.
  299. >A tear drips onto the waterproof leather and draws her attention to your face.
  300. >Just in time to get wrapped up in the tightest hug you could muster.
  301. >"Ooopf!"
  302. >Tears of joy soak into her mane.
  303. >You weren't normally a crier, but this was just too much.
  304. >"Heh, so I guess it's not too corny then?" Only a hint of trepidation remains in her voice.
  305. >Your answer is to squeeze her tighter and plant a lingering kiss at the root of her ear.
  306. >"Hmmhmm! That tickles!" She snickers.
  307. >You reposition to plant another smooch on her ear, then her brow.
  308. >"Heheheh!"
  309. >You never would've thought heaven was hearing the most precious mare in your life glean joy from your kisses.
  310. >You pull back to look into her eyes.
  311. >Every bit of fear had been driven from her relieved expression.
  312. >Flushed cheeks and a happy smile complement her twitching ear...she wasn't used to feeling affections there it seems.
  313. >Speech is impossible but you have so much to say.
  314. >The pegasus mare seems content watching your expression, but your welling chest makes you restless.
  315. >You share each other's hot air causing the light frost on the top of her muzzle to thaw.
  316. >This whole time your hands hadn't left her.
  317. >You're both blushing like mad, but your overly enthusiastic response had really bolstered her confidence.
  318. >"Heh, make sure ya get it all out now. Can't have you gettin sappy on me at the party tonight." A quiet smile splits her radish-like cheeks.
  319. >The moment she breaks the ice with a green light you lean in and plant a kiss on the hot fur of her cheek.
  320. >You feel her smile under your lips and the moment you loosen your grip she pushes back to your cheek a kiss of her own.
  321. "Haha!"
  322. >Furry lips nibble into you and leave a hint of moisture that rapidly cools in between her hot breaths.
  323. >She finishes with a playful nuzzle that prompts another kiss right above the last one.
  324. >Part of you felt incredibly embarrassed to be so affectionate when you hadn't even told her how you feel.
  325. >But another part, a bigger part, told you it would be redundant at this point.
  326. >"Geez dude, I-I know I'm awesome and all but it's just a jacket." She snickers as you work a half dozen smooches into her plush face.
  327. >In theory, it was nothing you hadn't done before, it was the level of enthusiasm and repetition that pushed the interaction into new territory.
  328. >Strangely enough, you're not as nervous as you thought you'd be.
  329. >It just felt so natural.
  330. >You smile wide when she forces her turn and pushes her now thoroughly wet lips onto your cheekbone.
  331. >It was like she was just as eager as you were for an excuse to show some affection.
  332. "It's not just a jacket. It's your jacket... and it's the second best gift I've ever received." Your hoarse voice surprises you.
  333. >She nuzzles away and you pull back to meet her eyes once more.
  334. >The reflected heat from your faces was like a chain reaction that pushed the limits of how red blue fur could get.
  335. "Second to you." You throw a cheesy wink in the hopes of making the mushiness more tolerable.
  336. >She snorts, then tucks her ears as she looks down to your chest.
  337. >Her hoof grazes over the embroidery and she audibly gulps.
  338. >"You know I put 'Wingman' on there b-because I, I-I thought it'd sorta go with the theme."
  339. >Your puzzled expression prompts her further.
  340. >She takes a deep breath and meets your gaze.
  341. >"Not cuz that's like all you are, or anything. Y-you know?"
  342. >You wish you could follow, but her explanation was going over your head.
  343. >She shuffles in anxious frustration.
  344. >"W-what I'm trying to say is, maybe it'd be cool i-if we um, if we tried to sorta..."
  345. >Your dumbfounded expression wasn't helping.
  346. >"Aww do you have to make me say it!"
  347. "Go...skydiving?" You offer.
  348. >A single snowflake melts on the tip of her nose, punctuating her bewildered expression.
  349. >"What! No I mean kiss on the mouth!"
  350. >You barely have time to register what she said before two fuzzy lips press against yours and clear your mind.
  351. >It was as if she took your breath away and filled you with oxygen all at the same time.
  352. >You have enough time to register her hungry lips kneading desperately into your own, before she catches herself and pulls away with a pop.
  353. >"S-Sorry I--mmmpf!"
  354. >You cut her off by showing your gratitude with another lip lock.
  355. >The world fades and every detail of your union becomes apparent.
  356. >From the direction of the fine fur on her lips, to the slick wetness that made your bare contact airtight.
  357. >Hot breath warmed your face as heavy exchanges fill your nostrils.
  358. >Each pent-up murmur from your partner seemed to communicate with you as if you had a direct line to her very soul.
  359. >You thought reading with her in the park was a rush, but this was on a whole new level.
  360. >Because there was nothing either of you could hide, every nervous stutter and exhilarating tremor flowed freely with your emotions along the heartfelt expression.
  361. >You were completely open--putting yourselves out there, exposing all your tepid thoughts and insecurities and trusting that the other would accept what they found.
  362. >Granted, it was a fairly safe bet at this point, but that didn't diminish the emotional significance of the soft, wet act in the slightest.
  363. >A smack and two hungry breaths fill the now snow-laden air.
  364. >Both mouths readjust without a second thought and your senses go from saturated to overloaded.
  365. >You accept her tongue's timid advance and intimacy gets redefined once more.
  366. >A hot flash races through your body, your heartbeat stutters, and you lean into you partner like your life depends on it.
  367. >It was so much more than damp contact.
  368. >You could feel her spit mix with yours, you could taste the milky flavor of her mouth and a hint of honey oats from lunch, the smell of her semi-fresh breath wasn't even a slight turn-off.
  369. >Her soft, wet tongue was barely tracing your lips but your heart is already struggling to keep up.
  370. >The lack of experience on both ends didn't even occur as a natural appetite for the taste of her mouth takes control.
  371. >She dances deeper; smooth taste buds glaze over your teeth, slow enough to feel every contour of your enamel and gums.
  372. >You feel the fur on her nape stand on end as she moans and instinctively leans into you.
  373. >The novel thrill of your favorite pony exuberantly exploring your mouth escapes as a desperate cry that she races to comfort.
  374. >Her slick muscle meets yours beckoning shyly for a welcome.
  375. >The moment you grant it you feel her whimper and shudder.
  376. >You don't blame her.
  377. >Feeling the texture of her tongue, tasting her mouth, freely exchanging your saliva with hers and noting how obvious it was that she was salivating for you...it made you feel weak.
  378. >Soft smacks echo through the forest as your taste buds swab against one another, migrating between maws, threatening to lick each other raw.
  379. >Everything you've ever wanted to tell her and the sheer weight of the feelings words couldn't describe pour forth in the form of taste, smell and texture.
  380. >You journey back and forth as tour guides, counting teeth, tracing the ticklish ridges on the roof of your mouths, and noting biological differences.
  381. >Everything you told her was expressed to you in kind as you take turns lapping languidly at the salivary glands under your tongues.
  382. >No stone was left unturned. No secret left unshared.
  383. >Every last bit of the messy embrace belonged to both of you.
  384. >Every smell, taste, and texture a precious gift from your bodies and you weren't ashamed of it.
  385. >Nor was there any judgement when one member or the other went back in for a sloppy second helping.
  386. >It was pure ecstasy.
  387. >You didn't try to keep track of how long you remained joined across the electrifying connection.
  388. >But you don't even slow until you made sure you both knew just how much this meant.
  389. >Even then, you hesitate to part out of some irrational fear you wouldn't return.
  390. >It takes another minute to realize how silly that was.
  391. *muah
  392. >The two of you finally part from the long overdue union.
  393. >Eyes open and before you sit the same magenta orbs that you'd stared into countless times before.
  394. >The ones that looked at you curiously when you first saw your strange form.
  395. >The ones that looked at you with sympathy when they saw you in pain.
  396. >The ones that looked at you with happiness when they saw you.
  397. >The ones that now looked at you with love.
  398. >Hot breath reheats your still-warm mouth as she leans in to lick away the strands of spit that still connected your soggy lips.
  399. >You weren't confident in her strategy, but thoughtful gesture made your limbs tingle.
  400. >Pegasus slobber morphs your smirk into the biggest toothy grin your face could handle.
  401. >"Hmmhmmhmm..." She chuckles and bites her lip.
  402. >She looks at you as if you're a portal into a whole new wonderful world.
  403. >You're still reeling from the deeply intimate encounter.
  404. >It's so surreal that you know what her tongue tastes like and that she has a filling on her top molar.
  405. >Her tail swishes happily, she licks the spit-soaked fur of her muzzle and you reflexively mirror her before you realize what you're doing.
  406. >"Heheheheh!"
  407. >You've never seen anyone this happy.
  408. "What are you snickering for?" Breaths pass from her lungs to yours and back again as you sit practically nose-to-nose.
  409. >"Cuz I love you." She delivers without pause.
  410. >You'd grip her tighter if you weren't dangerously possessive already.
  411. "Oh Dash, I love you too!"
  412. >You pull each other into a hug that turns into a nuzzle fest.
  413. >All the while the plastered grin never leaves her face.
  414. >The snowfall had become heavy enough to remind you there was still a world outside each other's arms.
  415. >The skating ponies were gone.
  416. >Perhaps due to the rapidly encroaching nightfall.
  417. >You glance back and immediately press your lips together in a passionate peck.
  418. *smooch
  419. >Just to prove you could.
  420. >Knowing smiles indicate this was only the beginning of the fun new activity.
  421. "So uh...that was a better idea than skydiving."
  422. >"Hahahahaha!"
  423. >You weren't sure if it was Dash's jacket or your warmth in your heart, but it didn't feel cold anymore.
  424. >It could also be the onset of hypothermia.
  425. "We should probably get going, we still have to hit the party you know."
  426. >"Do we have to?"
  427. >You really want to say no.
  428. "I think Fluttershy's going to want her present."
  429. >"Oh, yeah I forgot about that."
  430. "Yeah, I...just forgot about a lot of things too." You blush and scratch your neck.
  431. >"Heheheh!" A warm muzzle finishes scratching it for you.
  432. >No matter what she'd claim in public, Dash was a cuddlebug.
  433. "Don't worry, I got you one too."
  434. >"Is it this jacket? Cuz it smell-uhh...it's really n-nice."
  435. >You quirk a brow at her and her waning blush refreshes.
  436. "Yep. I'll just return Daring Do and the Crystal Empire to the bookstore."
  437. >"No way! How'd you get a copy it's not out yet!"
  438. "Haha! Well, I know a griffon who knows a pony..."
  439. >"Aww sweet! Can we start it tonight? Please!"
  440. >You ruffle her mane as you get up from the park bench.
  441. "You bet."
  442. >She trots along with you, the unfilled arms of your jacket trailing in the snow.
  443. "As long as we get to um...you know..."
  444. >Despite the turn of events you realize confidence wasn't an endless well.
  445. >You look at her hoping she gets the point.
  446. "I mean, it'd be nice if we could keep...like..."
  447. >She smirks and licks her lips again, "What? Go scuba diving?"
  448.
  449.
  450.
  451. >The sun was beginning to set as you walked back into town.
  452. >Cold wind warned you that you'd stayed out entirely too long.
  453. >But no matter how much your teeth chattered and noses dripped, you couldn't wipe the cheesy grin off your face.
  454. >Your azure companion seemed to be thriving off the same high the kiss had given you.
  455. >Strangely enough, for as much of a leap as it was you didn't really feel different about her.
  456. >She was still your best friend.
  457. >The only difference is that you finally got to show each other what'd already been apparent in your feelings for some time.
  458. >Judging by Dash's lingering gaze and perky step, she's just as excited about it as you are.
  459. >You asked about each patch on the jacket and Dash recounted the stories behind them.
  460. >You were surprised how much legacy and tradition went into it.
  461. >Everything from the lining of the jacket to the way the patches were embroidered was done for a reason.
  462. >Dash would never admit it, but she could nerd out pretty hard, especially when it came to flying.
  463. >One rabbit hole leads to the other and by the time your snow-laden bodies arrive at AJ's front door, Dash is knee deep in an explanation of the aerodynamics of feathers.
  464. "How do you have that much control over your pinion feathers?"
  465. >"Oh dude, someone with my level of training can control all our primaries, check it out!"
  466. >She extends a wing in front of you and the cyan feathers ripple like a lazy wave on the shoreline.
  467. "Whoa."
  468. >She bites her tongue and gauges your reaction before spreading and closing each of her wingtip feathers one at a time.
  469. >The sight is mesmerizing and you can't help but stare.
  470. >Not only is it cool, but it makes her toned wings all the prettier.
  471. >You'd always found equines attractive in the sense that they were cute as heck; wings, however, were an acquired taste that'd been influenced by your time spent with a team of athletic pegasi.
  472. >Dash's wings were definitely among the prettiest.
  473. >Most importantly though, they were attached to the best pony.
  474. >You reach out to hold your palm over the wiggling feathers.
  475. "Heheh! It tickles!"
  476. >The door opens suddenly.
  477. >"Howdy An--wot in tarnation are ya doing!"
  478. >You pull your hand away and Dash snaps to attention so fast she leaves a loose feather suspended in midair.
  479. >AJ scrutinizes it as it floats down.
  480. >It wasn't lost on you that displaying her wings was considered flirtatious, touching them was...you weren't exactly sure where that lay on the spectrum of affection.
  481. >Judging by the mare's response, it was higher up than you thought.
  482. >Even if she was a little prudish.
  483. >Your hand moves slyly to your pocket but her ire is focused on the mare next to you.
  484. >"We're standing out here in the cold waiting for you to let us in."
  485. >"Well that wasn't all yer doing by the looks of it!"
  486. >Dash's eyes narrow, "And what do you think it was we were doing?"
  487. >This catches her friend off guard. The fact you two were close was no secret, but the sight of Rainbow doing something so obviously flirtatious was rarer than a bottle of orange juice in the apple family fridge.
  488. >"I-I if I had to guess I'd say you were um..." AJ looks at you and shuffles nervously.
  489. >Her honesty was her achilles heel.
  490. >Dash shakes the snow off of her, "What? About to makeout?"
  491. >"R-Rainbow! There's foals here ya know!" She looks around awkwardly.
  492. >"Pfft! I'm just kidding AJ!" Dash swats you with her tail before leading the way inside, but she pauses to whisper, "We already did that in the park."
  493. >Her eyes go wide and follow you as you follow the prismatic tail.
  494. >You can only offer an apologetic shrug before your attention gets drawn elsewhere.
  495. >"Rainbow Dash!" A small orange streak intercepts the mare and clings to her leg.
  496. >"What's up Scoots! You excited for the party!"
  497. >"Not really, just the presents."
  498. >"Heheh! Yeah me too." Dash ruffles her mane as you watch the endearing sight.
  499. >You start to feel lost amid a dozen individual conversations, until you feel a wing wrap around your waist.
  500. >You look down to see Dash smiling up at you, still petting her biggest fan.
  501. >She winks at you and walks you both into the room.
  502. >"Oh Rainbow Dash! Did you ask Mr. Anon to be your coltfriend yet?"
  503. >"Uh...heheh! Why don't you go find your friends squirt!" She gives you a nervous glance.
  504. >"We're right here Rainbow Dash!" Applebloom calls as she tumbles into view with Sweetie Bell.
  505. >Dash starts to back up, "Great! Why don't we play a game of hide and seek, you all go hide and--"
  506. >"Wait, did you kiss him yet?"
  507. >"Yeah have you two smooched?" Applebloom pointedly asks.
  508. >"Um..." Dash is at a loss with how to respond.
  509. >"Consarn it you fillies shouldn't be thinkin about that sorta thing!" Applejack saves the day and rushes them off before giving you two a warning glare.
  510. >Before they get towed away by the matronly mare, you see Scootaloo stick her head out and silently mouth something to Dash.
  511. >You see your friend wink in response before Scoots runs off giggling with her friends in tow.
  512. >You pat her mane but look away before she realizes you might've seen the exchange.
  513. >You never would've expected her to be so bold about your relationship, as young as it was.
  514. >She was still a bit nervous, after all she's never been known for her emotional vulnerability--which a relationship like this certainly entailed.
  515. >But she wasn't shy about it; she was proud of it, proud of you.
  516. >You weren't a secret lover to be stashed away and kept out of the public eye; she'd chosen you as part of her closest team, and she wasn't ashamed of her decision.
  517. >Despite your own nerves, it made you feel like you were ten feet tall.
  518. >You greeted everypony, even her smirking friends with confidence and ease.
  519. >Your pegasus practically beamed with machismo.
  520. >You could tell it in the way she walked with her chest a bit more puffed out.
  521. >The way she pushed her cool girl persona a little harder.
  522. >The way she'd lean against you when you engaged in conversations with others.
  523. >Throughout the party she made a point never to branch off on her own. If you were talking with somepony she'd join in, and if she struck up another conversation before yours ended, you did the same for her.
  524. >Her behavior was so obviously changed that you almost thought she was pranking you, but she wasn't.
  525. >She genuinely wanted to be where you were.
  526. >The thought was eye-watering and you can't help but reciprocate your own modest affections as the night wears on.
  527. >Your ear rubs, neck scratches, and shoulder pats don't attract as much attention as does Dash's obvious hunger for your touch.
  528. >And then there was the matter of you two wearing each other's jackets.
  529. >The label on your lapel was a catch-all for those thick enough to not notice the obvious hints.
  530. >The only problem was, Dash wasn't here to advertise.
  531. >In fact, she really didn't want to be here any longer than she had to be.
  532. >She makes her point throughout the night by tugging on your pant leg and asking if it's time to go read yet.
  533. >Only after enduring the longer than necessary present exchange does she finally get her way.
  534. >Once you give Fluttershy her gift you bid your farewells to the band of giggling mares as Dash tows you out the front door.
  535. >"C'mon I wanna get through the first few chapters tonight!"
  536. "It's already late, we'll be up all night if we do that!"
  537. >It doesn't discourage her, nor does it slow her pace as she leads through the snowy streets back to your home.
  538. >Only after your front door is closed behind you can you stop to take a breather.
  539. "You know, I didn't see you getting embarrassed about me wearing your jacket at the party." You ask as you leave her in the living room to retrieve her new book.
  540. >She pauses before responding, "I just didn't want to have to give the sappy explanation in front of everypony."
  541. >You return with the book in hand and find that she's starting up the fireplace.
  542. "So it has nothing to do with a big romantic master plan to confess your love for me?"
  543. >Her face turns red like you turned on a lightbulb.
  544. >She lights a match and starts the fire.
  545. >"T-That was..."
  546. >You quirk a brow and take a seat on the couch waiting for her to join you.
  547. >"Maybe, a little." She hops up.
  548. >You throw her in a hug which she readily accepts.
  549. "You mean a lot to me, Dash. I'm glad that happened."
  550. >You feel her squeeze you tighter.
  551. >"Yeah me too." She whispers.
  552. "So..." You pull away and look her in the eyes before looking at the book.
  553. >By the way she'd been acting all evening you half-expected her to devour the pages whole.
  554. >But she just sat there and stared.
  555. >"Hey, I never got to finish my explanation, a-about wings?" You hear her gulp and she looks at you hopefully.
  556.
  557.
  558. >Despite the latest and greatest in entertainment sitting in your lap the most interesting thing in the room is, without a doubt, the mare shuffling awkwardly in front of you.
  559. >If it didn't make her so uncomfortable you could sit there all day and just watch her.
  560. >On second thought there may be some legal ramifications to that as well.
  561. >Though getting married would probably fix both of those problems.
  562. >You swallow your flustering thoughts and set the book aside.
  563. "Are you sure it was an explanation, or just an excuse to show off?"
  564. >She can't hide her smile.
  565. >"It wouldn't be the first time I've been accused of that. I guess I'm just too awesome!"
  566. >Her eyes flitter away from yours--her confidence fading with each passing moment of silence.
  567. >It was times like these that you got to peek behind the curtains and see just how fragile she could be.
  568. "I don't blame you. They're all probably just jealous."
  569. >She blushes and quirks a brow.
  570. >"I know right? It's not my fault I was born with a good set of wings." She snickers, trying to lighten the mood with a bit of humor.
  571. >Apparently no one ever told her it's only funny if it's not true.
  572. "Yeah, or a stunning mane."
  573. >She tucks her ears, batting her hair down.
  574. "Heh, o-or a w-world class flank!"
  575. >"Or gorgeous eyes."
  576. >Her prepared reply chokes in her throat and she turns beet red.
  577. >It takes an awkward silence to realize that your truthful words were a smidge beyond casual flirtation.
  578. >And it takes another to find your humor
  579. "Wait, I'm pretty sure you worked for those flanks so it doesn't count."
  580. >She actually turns to look at her butt.
  581. >"It's just..." She tucks her tail and rubs her foreleg, "...f-from working out they're not even that big."
  582. >You can't help but stare.
  583. >It seems she's turned from boasting to bashful. Luckily you have a remedy.
  584. "Well I think they're a great size!"
  585. >Two magenta eyes fix on you despite her flaring muzzle.
  586. >Your motivation was ahead of your resolve.
  587. "I-I mean, I don't think a bigger rump is necessarily better."
  588. >You can feel her eyes boring into you and suddenly realize you're staring at her cutie mark.
  589. "I think yours is a nice shape." You pull your eyes away.
  590. >"Yours is too."
  591. >The comment is shocking enough to make you look at her.
  592. >Only the sound of your breathing and the crackling fire can be heard in the quiet room.
  593. >She recovers faster than you do.
  594. >"Pfft! You don't have to be so embarrassed, it's not like we just made out or anything!"
  595. >That earns a chuckle from you.
  596. >"And we're definitely not hanging out alone in your apartment thinking about doing it again."
  597. "Hahaha!"
  598. >"Heheh! You tasted like soggy gram crackers you know."
  599. "Ahaha-what? The last time I had those was like ten years ago! That's gross!"
  600. >She shrugs, "It wasn't gross...but I guess it might've been better with milk."
  601. "Hahahaha!"
  602. >She snorts and starts laughing along with you.
  603. "Alright miss."
  604. >You reach out and pull her into your arms and she slouches comfortably against your chest.
  605. "I think all this flirting is just you trying to distract me from a saucy talk about aerodynamics."
  606. >"Mmnot f-flirting."
  607. >The warmth of her body carries the pleasant scent of ozone and pegasus.
  608. "Oh so all that talk about smooching was just for fun then?"
  609. >"M-Maybe."
  610. >"So you'd rather stay up all night and read and not smooch at all?"
  611. >She gulps.
  612. >"...No."
  613. >You rub her belly and her breathing gets deeper.
  614. "Yeah, I thought so."
  615. >She lays there for a moment and you enjoy the cuddle.
  616. >You'd done it before, but the recent revelation of your feelings made your heart race faster than you thought possible.
  617. >The fur of her belly is as soft as a rabbit and you find your fingers swimming through it over and over.
  618. "How did you make that jacket?"
  619. >"Huh?" She snaps out of a groggy trance.
  620. >It seemed belly rubs were an achilles heel.
  621. "The jacket fits so well, how did you tailor it without taking any measurements? Did you bribe Rarity?"
  622. >"Uhh, I did take measurements, sorta."
  623. >You can practically feel the heat radiate off her face without looking at her.
  624. >And she can hear your question without you having to ask.
  625. >A wing slowly unfurls and dexterously slides under your arm--lifting it up and spanning it lengthwise as you hold it out.
  626. >A wave of heat radiates from her fuzzy, comfy looking wingpit.
  627. >Geez, this mare was a little furnace.
  628. >"I sorta measured you...with my wings."
  629. >You gently hold the tip of her wing, stroking across the glossy feathers.
  630. >"Everytime we hugged or something I-I'd measure a different spot until I had enough for Rarity to work with."
  631. >That was just about the most precious thing you could imagine.
  632. "I had no idea you went to that much work."
  633. >"Heh, yeah I had to remember a bunch of nerdy ratios and stuff."
  634. >She snickers as you tickle her belly button.
  635. "My Dash? A nerd? No way!"
  636. >"Hey! It was for a good cause alright!"
  637. "I'm just teasing!"
  638. >She looks up at you and nips playfully at your jaw.
  639. >"Now I know a bunch of human facts, like your neck circumference is the distance from my chin to halfway down my foreleg."
  640. "That was really specific."
  641. >"And your chest measurement is my right primary overlapping the tenth feather on the second row of my left."
  642. "Wow. I don't even know my weight to the nearest ten pounds."
  643. >"Heheh! I could measure that too if you let me fly you around."
  644. "Are you sure your wings could hold me?"
  645. >You ask as you nuzzle back into her and slowly stroke the inside of her unfurled appendage.
  646. >Dash doesn't immediately answer; instead, her eyes watch your gentle touch.
  647. >"For someone so afraid of flying you really seem to like my wings."
  648. >You freeze, your fading blush resurges with a vengeance.
  649. >Her breath warms your cheek before she gives you a bold lick of affection.
  650. >"Y-you can touch 'em if you want." Her timid gulp echoes through your ear.
  651.
  652.
  653. >This is it.
  654. >The moment you'd dreamt of for longer than you'd like to admit.
  655. >Well, the whole evening had surpassed your expectations, but this was especially incredible.
  656. >And despite your attempt at a cool, collective facade you were starting to feel the weight of the spaghetti in your pockets.
  657. >You'd made out next to the lake, sure, but even there you didn't feel as close to her as you do now.
  658. >All alone in your home.
  659. >Snuggled on the couch in front of a fire, wanting to be nowhere else.
  660. >What made it even more odd was how little was different between you.
  661. >Having her lounge on your chest while you read a book wasn't all that uncommon, but instead of a book to entertain you, now you only have each other.
  662. >And she just licked your cheek.
  663. >That was a little different.
  664. "I-I can touch them if you want me to..." You stutter.
  665. >Dash crackes a smile but stifles her chuckle.
  666. >Dear Celestia she's so warm against your chest.
  667. >Or maybe something else is causing you to sweat.
  668. >Your hand is still hovering awkwardly over her wing when she decides to take action.
  669. >Apparently even flustered Dash had a limit to her patience.
  670. >She spins around and tries to find somewhere to put her forehooves, finally settling on tucking one to her chest while bracing the other tentatively on your sternum.
  671. >"A-Anon." You meet her look with a wide-eyed stare.
  672. >You should be doing something but you feel paralyzed under her gaze.
  673. >"I know I'm not the b-best at this sorta stuff, but I wanna umm..."
  674. >Her gaze wavers.
  675. >You take hold of her hoof as your breaths deepen.
  676. >She bites her lip and watches as your thumb gently rubs her sensitive appendage, letting her know it's safe to say whatever it is she wants to say.
  677. >"...I wanna make sure you know how much you mean to me."
  678. >She finishes with a spurt of courage.
  679. >You massage her hoof and soak up the texture of her surprisingly soft frog.
  680. >Words might not come easy right now, but a sensual touch kept her confidence from wavering in the momentary silence.
  681. "Rainbow."
  682. >She gulps.
  683. "If there's one thing you've shown me over the time I've known you, it's love."
  684. >She lets out a shaky breath you didn't know she was holding.
  685. >Your pumping adrenaline made the heartfelt confession continue.
  686. "You're the best friend I've ever had and I can't imagine life without you in it."
  687. >You stroke a lock of orange mane out of the way.
  688. "The way you look at me and the things we talk about, the way I feel relaxed and at home around you...We've loved each other for a long time, you don't have to eat my face to show me, though that might be fun to do anyways."
  689. >She snorts.
  690. >"Heh, yeah that was pretty fun."
  691. >Her hoof twitches as you trace the base of her frog; she hesitates as if to remind you just how sensitive they are, before pushing her hoof against your hand in a vagrant display of trust.
  692. >You reward that trust with careful curiosity--exploring her touchy frog in a simple yet intimate manner.
  693. >She needed to know that you want her, that's she's desirable both in her character and being, down to her very hooftips.
  694. >Irresistible, even.
  695. >You feel your ears on fire and a hot flush rushes to your face as you close the distance to peck her fuzzy lips.
  696. >Her ears perk in surprise, then tuck.
  697. "And if you haven't figured out that I love you too then we've got a lot more smooching to do."
  698. >At the very mention of that she licks her lips reflexively.
  699. >Her eyes fixate on yours as the weight of your words soak in.
  700. >You take a moment to appreciate the incredible rarity of seeing Dash so vulnerable.
  701. >But only a moment.
  702. >Little did you know, the combination of hoof touches, soft words, and lip kisses had unlocked some deep rooted part of the pegasus' instinct that neither you nor her knew about.
  703. >Before you know it, you have a wet tongue on your face and it's not your own.
  704. >Up your cheek and across your brow; slapping the bridge of your nose and wetting your squinting eye.
  705. "Heheh!"
  706. >You Feel pure joy at the barrage of pony kisses.
  707. >You do your best to reciprocate the affection with your hands as you twist this way and that in an attempt to dodge the seemingly playful appendage.
  708. >But she wasn't some happy dog.
  709. >She was a happy mare.
  710. >And your best friend.
  711. >So the objective wasn't necessarily to avoid the wet attention.
  712. >Now that you think about it, it's actually quite the opposite.
  713. >Her tongue extends once more to swab your chin but you duck to meet her wet muzzle.
  714. >The shock of tasting your lips pauses her long enough to let you take control.
  715. >Rather than dominate, you coax her bold behavior to continue as you massage your lips into hers.
  716. >She lets out a quiet whimper as she sinks into your chest and swabs her tongue against yours as if to say 'thank you.'
  717. >Hands swim through the fur of her neck and back.
  718. >The tip of her slick muscle tastes the roof of your mouth and it makes her fur stand on end.
  719. >A deliberate stroke against the grain of her cyan hair sends a shiver down her spine.
  720. >You can taste a spike in her milky salivation and her probing grows bolder as you shift attention to her mane.
  721. >You feel like you're going to melt trapped between the mixture of her sweltering body heat, hot breath and spit, and the equally warm couch cushions.
  722. >You couldn't sink any deeper, and there was no way of getting past the pegasus' wall of sloppy enthusiasm.
  723. >All in all it wasn't a bad place to be.
  724. >Even if you were about out of breath.
  725. >The mare seems to sense when you're about to pass out and breaks the kiss.
  726. >She generously donates her air to you as her muzzle huffs an inch away from yours.
  727. >You taste her mouth, you smell her breath, you see the thoughts behind her eyes and the sensation of her beating heart seems to fall in sync with your own.
  728. >In this moment the whole world is this wonderful mare.
  729. >And you wouldn't have it any other way.
  730. >Then, you both become aware of something else at the same time.
  731. >That being: the bulge in your pants Dash was sitting on.
  732. >It certainly didn't help that you could feel the heat of her posterior and the literal weight of her confidence not budging despite her knowing smirk.
  733. "S-Sorry, your world class flanks are sorta...you know..."
  734. >You offer as an excuse.
  735. >She just snorts, her face still beet red, "Do you really think I'd tell ya I love ya if I didn't want to prove it?"
  736. >You're too absorbed in the fact that she hadn't jumped off you like a scared cat to notice the nuances of her reply.
  737. "Maybe uhh..."
  738. >A bead of sweat rolls down your forehead as she leans in to rub her nose on yours.
  739. >Her humid breath joins the tiny droplets of perspiration that she promptly wipes away with her furry nose.
  740. >"Pfft! Geez dude calm down it's just me! You know I'd never poke fun at you for something like that."
  741. >Her reminder was surprisingly reassuring.
  742. >She may be a Wonderbolt, world class athlete and stunning model of a mare--both inside and out.
  743. >But she was first and foremost your best friend.
  744. >The one you've known and trusted.
  745. >The one who's been fiercely loyal beyond expectation.
  746. >The only thing holding you back is yourself.
  747. "I know that I'm just a bit e-embara--"
  748. >"--Anon!"
  749. >She interrupts before you can finish the word.
  750. >"You're the awesomest stallion I know. You don't have to be embarrassed about yourself."
  751. >Her words seem to have a calming effect despite doing nothing to skew the direction of conversation.
  752. >She pauses to contemplate her words before taking a deep breath and looking you in the eye.
  753. >"It doesn't matter to me if you're different."
  754. >Dash bites her lip and shifts atop you.
  755. >You follow her gaze down as she lifts a hindleg and makes a point to look at the intrusive bump.
  756. >Only, you end up getting a look at a lot more than that.
  757. >Unbeknownst to her, the heated exchange had made her quite productive and you're greeted with the sight of a few quivering strings of clear arousal connecting your leg to somewhere behind her teats.
  758. >If that wasn't enough to get you going, the scent of her damp musk wafting up on the wave of heat certainly was.
  759. >She quickly lowers it and tenses up as if she's about to make a run for the door
  760. >"S-Sorry I didn't mean to--"
  761. "--Rainbow."
  762. >You seize her shoulders and turn her chin to meet her eyes.
  763. >The poor mare was petrified.
  764. >Every ounce of brash confidence she had was replaced with uncertainty as she blazes a trail she'd never been down before.
  765. "You're a beautiful mare. You don't need to be ashamed of yourself either."
  766. >A hand pulls her nose to yours.
  767. "We may be different, but I think that's exciting." You whisper. "I think you're exciting."
  768. >You punctuate your stunning words with a peck on the nose.
  769. >She starts to relax.
  770. >"R-Really?"
  771. >Fingers stroke down her back causing her feathers to ruffle.
  772. "Definitely."
  773. >It takes a moment but soon enough a cheery smile grows on her face.
  774. >She deftly licks your lips.
  775. >"Heheh! Maybe you should take those things off then!" She tugs at your shirt.
  776. >You quirk a brow at her.
  777. >"You know, so they don't get in the way of uh..."
  778. "In the way of what, Dash?"
  779. >Your smile had grown to match hers.
  780. >"O-of s-snuggling."
  781. "I never would've thought the fastest flier in Equestria would be such a cuddlebug?"
  782. >"Hey!" She bats your shoulder, "I'm not a cuddlebug I just..." She trails off and pulls up your shirt curiously.
  783. >She'd seen you without it before, but she wasn't as touchy-feely then as she was now.
  784. >You pull it back down.
  785. "You just what? Wanna snuggle for warmth since you're covered with feathers and fur in front of a fire?"
  786. >She dodges your gaze but can't hide her playful grin.
  787. >Hooves pull up your shirt again, "No I'm not cold."
  788. >You pull it back down making her snort; she immediately resorts to plan B and dives forward to nuzzle into your shirt's neck hole.
  789. >Her fur and ears tickle but you allow it.
  790. >Nay, you encourage it with more back scratching.
  791. >You spit out a lock of mane.
  792. "So you're not a cuddlebug and you're not cold, what could possibly motivate you to want to make me more snuggleable?"
  793. >She surfaces after having successfully stretched out the fabric.
  794. >Her magenta eyes narrow, but her smirk betrays her true intentions.
  795. >"I won't tell you until you tell me why you have nipples!"
  796. >...
  797. "Huh?"
  798. >"Mares have 'em to feed their foals, are all humans girls or something?"
  799. "No. What? What are you talking about?"
  800. >She pulls up your shirt once more and this time you let her.
  801. >A cyan hoof points accusingly at the offending nipple.
  802. >"They're right there! Did you not know you had them or something?"
  803. "No, I mean yes of course I knew I just don't understand-aagh!"
  804. >Fuzzy, wet, and ticklish lips suckle at your chest and she makes eye contact with you after a few seconds.
  805. >She pulls off with a smack leaving the nipple to chill under a sheen of her saliva.
  806. >"Shoot! I owe Twilight ten bits!"
  807. >You're beyond lost.
  808. >"I thought you made milk or something with those, she bet that you didn't and I matched her."
  809. "You could've just asked you know? Hey Anon, do you make milk or are those nipples just vestigial remnants of some outdated evolutionary mechanism that has no function or purpose?"
  810. >"Heheheh! Yeah I guess, but I uh, I've been wanting to try that."
  811. >You'd become so accustomed to the sight of your red faces you barely notice her blush refresh.
  812. "I'm also definitely not a girl, for the record."
  813. >She snorts and looks down.
  814. >"Good cuz I'm not really into that."
  815. >You take off your shirt and that grabs her attention.
  816. "You're just into the usual I take it? Like aliens with nipples?"
  817. >"Hahahahaha! Noo silly you're not a alien."
  818. >You pull her farther up your chest to nuzzle her muzzle while your hands wander under her wings.
  819. >"Pfft! Hahaha-stahp that tickles!"
  820. "I think I qualify as one. I'm certainly no cuddly little pegasus with sweaty wingpits."
  821. >"Anon st-aha! St-stop! Hahahaha!"
  822. >She tries to clamp her wings over your hands to freeze them but it only traps them in her sensitive pits.
  823. >She's too paralyzed with laughter to fight back successfully.
  824. >She does manage to writhe her way in between your lounged form and the couch cushions.
  825. >You don't relent until the mare is breathless and that toothy smile is plastered permanently to her face.
  826. >"That's not fair!"
  827. "What's not fair?"
  828. >"You can't be good at tickling and-ahaha!...a-and have nipples!"
  829. "What does that have to do with anything you silly mare?"
  830. >You're about to dive back into her exposed belly but something else catches your eye.
  831. >Two modest teats jiggle between her thighs as she tenses for an attack that never comes.
  832. >She seems to feel your gaze and looks down to the objects of your attention.
  833. >"What? Never seen them on a girl before?"
  834. >She caught you red handed, or at least you feel that way at first.
  835. >Teats weren't all that private of a thing and you're ashamed to admit this isn't the first time you've stared at them.
  836. >Dash didn't seem to mind so you didn't make a big deal of it either.
  837. "Dash, you know that's not how this works!"
  838. >She chuckles but pointedly lifts a hindleg to better expose them.
  839. >"I'll bet you ten bits they make milk." She snickers.
  840. >What has gotten into this mare?
  841. "First off, I don't bet. Second, I'm pretty sure you have to be pregnant for that to happen."
  842. >She furrows her brow at the apparently new information.
  843. >"Well, then I'll bet you ten bits they don't!"
  844. >You can't help but steal glances back to the beautiful sight of matted fur between her hindlegs.
  845. >Heartstuttering would be more accurate.
  846. "That's pretty much me just paying to suck on your teats at that point..."
  847. >"Yeah? What's wrong with that? I gotta make my money back from Twilight somehow."
  848. >You just stare at her.
  849. >"Hahahaha! You actually thought I was gonna charge you! You shoulda seen the look on your face!"
  850. "Yeah, I was about to pay up, too."
  851. >You rub the back of your neck awkwardly.
  852. >Her laughter roars back and you can't help but join in.
  853. >After a moment she nuzzles your arm.
  854. >"Well?"
  855. "Well what?"
  856. >"You've been staring at them for a while, you gonna give it a shot?"
  857. >Her smile is earnest despite the teasing tone in her voice.
  858. >"I already told ya dude, you don't have to feel embarrassed." Her voice gets a little softer.
  859. >You could tell there was more to the subtle comments than flirtation, mostly because Dash really wasn't trying to be sultry or sexy.
  860. >She was regardless, but it likely never occurred to her to put on a front for you.
  861. >This was her, genuine, exposed, and trusting perfectly that you're just as interested in her as she is in you.
  862. >A friend that's offering you the gift of herself.
  863. >And that's something you couldn't turn down even if you wanted to.
  864. >Without another word you grab her hindleg and hold it out of the way as you move down.
  865. >The scent of her soft, subdued body odor starts to replace the ozone the lower you get.
  866. >The fur between her teats was an inch long and matted down from being trapped between the two fatty mounds.
  867. >Just a few inches to the side lay the source of a heady musk that gistened at the edges of her muff--yet the land beyond remained out of sight.
  868. >You press your lips to the teat and it gives more than you anticipated, forcing your face deeper into her radiant body heat to capture her small, fleshy prick.
  869. >You apply some suction and immediately taste a hint of salt.
  870. >Her belly begins to quiver as she tries to contain her giggling.
  871. >You peek up to see her biting her own hoof to keep from laughing.
  872. "What's so funny! I like teats okay! Sue me!"
  873. >"No-hahaha! It's not that I just tickles!"
  874. >You look back at the two inviting mounds, then back to her.
  875. >You duck back in with a purpose.
  876. >"No no no wait I didn't mean-bahahahahaha!"
  877. >You motorboat her perky teats and fight her reaction as laughter flexes her stomach and sends her hindlegs into a desperate kicking frenzy.
  878. >The charade goes on a bit longer than it otherwise would've had the object of attention been something other than her crotch tits.
  879. >But eventually, you relent, leaving a heaving, giggling pegasus primed for revenge.
  880. "You're done for now miss Dash. Between those and your hooves I think I've got a monopoly on ticklefights!"
  881. >She doesn't immediately respond; her eyes affix you with a look that you can't break.
  882. >It was more than a smile and happy eyes, it was the way she was splayed against the couch, her wings relaxed and her mane a mess--without the slightest hint of uncertainty.
  883. >She wanted to be here in this moment, she wanted you.
  884. >"It's not a fair fight if you're still wearing clothes."
  885. >You needed no further encouragement to slip out of the cotton hindrance.
  886.
  887.
  888.
  889. >Dash watches, but doesn't stare. She was well aware of how nerve-wracking it was for you and she did all she could to ease the transition.
  890. >Which admittedly wasn’t as much as you’d hoped.
  891. >Her interest in you was as blatant and obvious as yours was for her, so you can’t fault her for it.
  892. >You try your best not to put on a show, but your erect appendage made that all but impossible.
  893. >The added vulnerability of being completely bare in her presence made you distinctly aware of every subtle move she made.
  894. >Everything from her furtive glances, to her shuffling hooves, and the quiet gulp of nervous energy that seemed to fill the room.
  895. >Just as you take a seat with your arms awkwardly positioned to shield your shame, Dash makes a move.
  896. >The mare rolls onto her belly and gently places her hoof on your leg, her eyes never leaving your face.
  897. >"Hey."
  898. >You gulp nervously and look at her.
  899. >She greets your uncertainty with a smile.
  900. >Then she starts snickering.
  901. "What? Are you wondering why guys have balls too?"
  902. >You attempt to force your way through the awkwardness.
  903. >It only makes you feel more embarrassed.
  904. >"Hahaha no silly! I just-pfft!"
  905. >She peeks over the edge of the couch at your discarded clothes.
  906. >"I can't believe you fit in those things!"
  907. >Now it's her turn to blush as she takes in an eyeful of your manhood.
  908. >Whether it was meant to be a compliment or not, it certainly comes across as one.
  909. >As lost as you were in the moment, you had enough wit to tell you weren't the only one losing their cool.
  910. >The pegasus swallows as the frequency of her revealing glances increases.
  911. >You see her nostrils flare as she leans smidge closer to steal a sneaky sample of your musk.
  912. >Silly pony, thinking she wouldn’t be noticed.
  913. >Her tail shudders and she shifts her rump on the couch.
  914. >You could practically hear her muffled winking from somewhere under her tail.
  915. >To think she found something as innate as your scent appealing was...it made your chest feel funny.
  916. >She looks at you.
  917. >”I-I think you look good, Anon.”
  918. >Her encouraging words alone were enough to make you feel like you could fly, but even more than that her body language backed it up.
  919. >"So, you were asking about my wings, right?"
  920. >Somewhere in the distance a log pops in the fire and your heart stops dead in your chest.
  921. >You nod in agreement.
  922. >You were having a hard enough time breathing to try and talk.
  923. >A clear bead of moisture forms at your tip as the warm mare sits up to push you back against the cushions.
  924. >The new position leaves you a little more exposed than you'd like, but a forehoof on your leg keeps you from any efforts at covering up.
  925. >She lays her torso next to you, your arm around her shoulders, her hooves tucked neatly to her fluffy tuft.
  926. >Her muzzle nuzzles your jaw and she nibbles your earlobe.
  927. >"Anon?"
  928. >Her tone forces you to meet her eyes.
  929. >"I-If you'd rather just cuddle I don't mind--mmpf!"
  930. >You decisively quell that uncertainty with a kiss right on her dainty lips.
  931. >When you part you're greeted with the biggest grin you've seen since you saw her sign her first autograph as a new Wonderbolt.
  932. "You're right about your wings you know."
  933. >You peck her nose and come back with a whisper.
  934. "I've always sort of had a thing for them. I-I think yours are very beautiful."
  935. >You stroke the feathery appendage as it begins to unfurl.
  936. >You don't register what's happening until you feel her primaries wrap around your shaft in a stunning display of dexterity.
  937. >She doesn’t once look away from you as her wingtip folds around your manhood.
  938. >Her long primaries envelop your shaft with ease and tickle your testes.
  939. >The mixture of pleasure and ticklishness forces you to squirm and emit the most unmanly giggle you’ve ever heard anyone make.
  940. >Even compared to Pinkie.
  941. >”Heheh!” Warm breath buffets your face as she soaks up your reaction.
  942. >She looks at you with an expression of pure joy.
  943. >All the affection she’d felt for you over the term of your friendship, feelings and desires she never found a place for before were welling up in her eyes and in her actions as she shifts to cup the backside of your member.
  944. >She spares a quick glance down as her other wing comes into play--carefully guiding her pinfeather along your underside and eliciting a gasp from you.
  945. “Agh!”
  946. >Her impossibly soft feather retracts for another pass, trailing a clear string of precum along its dampened underside.
  947. >You meet her magenta eyes and any lingering doubts about your situation suddenly disappear.
  948. >All the worry you felt about being inadequate, about the permanence of your relationship and the troubles you’d undoubtedly face all melt away under the radiant affection you see in her sparkling eyes.
  949. >That’s when it dawns on you that you weren’t with some strange yet intimidatingly beautiful mare.
  950. >And you weren’t trading hollow promises of loyalty.
  951. >You were sharing a couch and being touched by the best friend you’ve ever known. Your commitment to each other was unspoken, yet absolute.
  952. >This wasn’t a step either of you took lightly, and each move was as deliberate as the breaths you shared.
  953. >Her beauty was as obvious to you as it was to any red-blooded stallion, but it wasn’t why you were attracted to her, nor her to you.
  954. >You loved each other for who you were.
  955. >And more than that, you had a very healthy appetite for the cuddly azure creature in your arms...and it was growing with every passing moment.
  956. >You were certain that you wanted this, that you wanted her. Not just here and now, but everywhere and always, for better or for worse.
  957. >You’d move mountains for Rainbow Dash and the fire in her eyes told you she’d already decided she’d do the same for you.
  958. >What follows is a brief and humbling moment; her eyes locked into yours, your breath filling each other’s lungs, and her feathers adamantly bringing you pleasure.
  959. >The feeling of being exposed and vulnerable to each other, yet perfectly comfortable in her presence was immensely powerful and the raw emotion threatens to bring tears to your eyes.
  960. >Dash, being the incredible mare she is, responds not with a snicker or a playful jibe, but with a soft, reassuring nuzzle and compassionate murmur.
  961. >The contact raptures you into her presence and you push back to rub your cheek against hers.
  962. >She continues to press against you, seeking more skin to rub her face against while taking gratuitous and shameless sniffs at your masculine scent.
  963. >Your hand holds her tight to you and the other moves down to tease the long fur past her teats.
  964. >A tongue flicks your earlobe, then swabs the side of your jaw in a repeated signal that seemingly scolds you for even hesitating and thinking you needed to ask permission.
  965. >You reach down the extra inch and notice her leg is already spread and a radiant humidity is emanating from what lies between.
  966. >The hot, moist air blends seamlessly into impossibly soft, damp flesh and the first indication you have that you’re making contact with her is her tongue starting to lick your face with reckless exuberance.
  967. >You’re enveloped by the smells and tastes of Dash spit, trapped between a wriggling and ticklish mare and the wing that created a cloud of love around your erection.
  968. >Something warm and slimy seeps between your fingers and the hot marshmallows that were the pegasus’ labia excrete a thin sheen of moisture that compounds the light sweat that already coated the clammy skin; soft murmurs and grunts escape her throat as she violently nuzzle-licks you in response to the gentle massage of her nethers.
  969. >If this wasn’t heaven then you’d rather not go there.
  970. >Her furry leg cinches around yours and she pulls away leaving a string of spit connecting your chin to her lip.
  971. “How could you miss my lips were right there--mmf!”
  972. >She stifles your jab with a targeted tongue which transitions to hungry lips after a few pointed swipes.
  973. >You’d heard the rumors about pegasi being creatures of instinct.
  974. >The trope had formed the brunt of more than a few jokes, but you never thought there was much to it.
  975. >Until now.
  976. >What would be a tame kiss to a unicorn was a sloppy and unhinged expression of affection to Dash.
  977. >It was becoming obvious that there were no varying degrees of commitment to her.
  978. >She didn’t kiss to lead you on, she didn’t stroke you with her feathers to tease you...no, she gave herself wholly to the erotic embrace.
  979. >Her mouth sought your raw taste and her body yearned to touch you for the sole purpose of manifesting her sudden and overwhelming desire to be close with the one she loves.
  980. >She’d decided long ago that this is what she wanted and there was no turning back. She would go as far as you were comfortable with and eagerly await more.
  981. >The writhing mass of sweaty, warm, and pleasant smelling mare had one goal and that was to share as much intimacy as her imagination would allow.
  982. >And you sure as hell were not going to stand between Dash and what she wanted.
  983. >Nor were your desires at disagreement with hers in any way.
  984. >A slick tongue tickles your gums and you feel the firm spine of her pinfeather draw a line up to your tip.
  985. >Your index and ring finger spread her malleable lips enough for your middle finger to wipe up the dribble seeping from her cherry red cleft.
  986. >Your throbbing member gets scissored between the frills of two feathers as she draws her wing back down to graze the light tips down your thigh.
  987. >The sensation makes your leg kick, and she takes advantage of the momentary exposure to move her wingtip under your sack.
  988. >You groan into her mouth and her kissing slows, growing more forceful and deliberate as your finger enters her tract near the bottom of the slimy mound.
  989. >A new sound, the one of her sopping innards being gently stirred fills the room along with the soft whisper of feathery brushes and the occasional sucking smooch.
  990. >Trembling feathers play with your loose balls with the enthusiasm of first contact, and in turn you waste no opportunity feeling up every inch of her lightly-furred genitals.
  991. >The mare curls into you, her tail flicking wildly at the random firing of yet untouched nerves at the very surface of her delicate canal.
  992. >The milky taste of Dash mouth grows with her increased salivation.
  993. >Heat rushes to your face once more as you decide to boldly seek it out at its source and venture into her mouth.
  994. >The mare hands off the lead with a gleeful squeal and your tongue works its way under hers towards her soft and moan-inducing salivary glands.
  995. >Hot breath humidifies your face as her nostrils grow hungry for air.
  996. >Before you know it, the petite pegasus is pinned beneath you in the crevice of the cushions, gyrating her hips and winking with a ferocity that makes you question why you’re using your fingers.
  997. >But her wings never give you time to dwell on what you might be missing out on.
  998. >What was once an indistinguishable undulating softness had turned into distinct vanes and spines of her four largest primaries. Each one had a unique shape and movement that combined to form an articulate hand that stroked and rubbed you with deliberate intent.
  999. >”Eeeep!”
1000. >She suddenly snaps away from the kiss with an excited yelp--courtesy of your slick finger working her clitoral hood back and rubbing the firm, nerve-rich nub directly.
1001. >A string of drool snaps back to her lower lip as she bites her tongue and meets your eyes in an amorous gaze.
1002. >The fur around her muzzle is slick with spit and locks of red, orange, and yellow splay about in a collage of unrivaled natural beauty.
1003. >Her chest throbs with heavy breaths as her other wing moves in to double the contribution to your feathery embrace.
1004. >Neither of you could speak, but you didn’t need to.
1005. >Everything you needed to say was already being said.
1006. >Her legs tremble and her breath quakes with pent energy.
1007. >You cup her head and she leans into your palm as you rub her ear.
1008. >That’s when you notice the odd look she’s giving you.
1009. >Her big, dilated eyes never leave yours even when she starts to squirm and grind her legs.
1010. >The closer you both get to release, the more you realize you trust each other more with your bodies than you do yourselves.
1011. >That mindset manifests in the form of even more deliberate touch as you feel eachother growing closer to release.
1012. >She grunts and groans but you keep a firm yet gentle focus on the little happy button you discovered.
  1013. >”Ngah!”
1014. >Her breath hitches and you suddenly realize what that funny look on her face is.
1015. >It looks like that time on the train when she drank too much water and needed to—
  1016. >”--Oooah!”
  1017. *splurrt!*
1018. >Her hips buck to rub her nub on your shocked and frozen finger as a torrid stream of hot pegasus goo shoots past your hand and soaks your leg and a sizable portion of your couch.
1019. >She doesn’t leave you much time to contemplate that, however; orgasmic trembling helps her shivering feathers send you over the edge.
1020. >The beautiful face staring up at you doesn’t even wince as the first spurt of semen hits the tip of her muzzle…the rest falls short in thick ropes that lace her tuft and pool in her belly button.
1021. >Your toes curl as her feathers continue to gently tease the last few drops from your tip, rubbing them back onto you, eager to do anything to continue touching you in the afterglow.
1022. >The incredible release was so mind-bending you nearly miss the heart-melting scene of Dash crossing her eyes and curiously licking at the white goo spanning her lips.
1023. >She manages to gather it on her tongue before she notices you watching her.
1024. >Looking like a foal with her hoof in the cookie jar, she still lets curiosity get the better of her as her lips slowly seal and she gives the donation a short swirl before audibly swallowing.
1025. >You must look as stunned as you feel.
  1026. >She tucks her ears.
  1027. >”It’s uh...not like frosting.”
1028. >A moment of silence ensues and she stops feathering your limp member, thinking she’s somehow in trouble.
  1029. “Pfft...hehehe!”
  1030. >”Heh-ahahahaha!”
1031. “Hahahaha! Is that another ten bits you owe Twilight?”
1032. >”Hehehe! No it’s just a-pffft...something I heard Pinkie Pie say once heheheh!”
1033. “Well if it did I might have diabetes or something.”
  1034. >”Hahahaha!”
1035. >Despite her recent activity you determine that there’s nothing more deserving of a kiss than the wonderful creature under you.
1036. >The more you think about it, she deserves a kiss even more because of it.
1037. >You lean in and mesh your lips against her damp ones.
1038. >She holds her breath, as if it took her by surprise.
1039. >When you withdraw all the humor in her expression was replaced with affection.
  1040. >And a light blush.
  1041. >”I love you, Anon.”
  1042. >Make that a heavy blush.
1043. “I love you too you amazing mare.”
1044. >She smiles timidly and leans up to nuzzle your cheek...before propping herself up to clean her fur.
1045. >You watch with bated breath as her pink tongue combs through her tuft in practiced swoops, replacing the off-white rivulets with a sheen of spit.
1046. >You sink back against the couch as the pegasus places off your chest to clean out her belly button with audible, wet licks.
1047. >Despite what you’ve just done, something about watching her finish the task feels incredibly dirty.
1048. >Your gaze drifts off to the fire as the wet sounds continue.
1049. >”Heheh! What’s the matter, never seen a mare preen before?”
1050. >You snap back to see her clean the last string of your slime from her chin, smiling all the while.
1051. >Dear Celestia that tongue is amazing.
  1052. “N-no it’s not that, it’s uh...”
1053. >She lays back against you with her head on your shoulder and brings her wingtip up to her muzzle to sniff at the very visible white stain on her feathers.
  1054. “...it’s just that…”
1055. >She draws the feather between her lips and it emerges spotless.
1056. >The mare smacks her lips before leaning back and looking at you.
1057. >Oh geez you can smell yourself on her.
1058. >”What? I don’t mind if you watch me preen ya know.”
1059. >Is this some sort of cruel joke?
1060. >She leans in to repeat the act with the next feather.
  1061. “I know it’s n-not that...it’s that you’re, umm...you know...tasting all the icing.”
1062. >You gulp nervously as she pauses in the middle of the act to look at you with the strangest perplexed look you’ve ever seen.
  1063. >”Well yeah...why wouldn’t I?”
1064. >She sees the doubt in your eyes before you know how to put it into words.
1065. >”Hey, hey. Look at me.”
1066. >You do as she says.
1067. >”I meant what I said you know...I love you, and everything about you.”
1068. >She nuzzles your chin up to better meet her eyes.
1069. >”Why wouldn’t I want what you’ve given me out of that love?”
1070. >It never occurred to you that she saw it that way, that she valued every last bit of you.
1071. >”Besides” She snickers, “I kinda like the way you taste.”
1072. >You squeeze her in a tight hug and the moment you release her she looks back to you to make sure you’re ok.
1073. “I’m the luckiest guy in the world you know.”
  1074. >”Pfft...yeah you are!”
1075. >You tickle her sides and make her squirm.
  1076. “Yes I am.”
1077. >”Heh I’m pretty lucky too. You’re probably the coolest stallion in Equestria.”
1078. “Well that’s good to know.”
1079. >She winks at you and motions to the book.
1080. >”I don’t know about you but all this dessert is making me like, the opposite of tired.”
  1081. “Awake?”
  1082. >”Heh, yeah that.”
1083. >You reach out and grab the new Daring Do book.
1084. >”Thanks for the present by the way…” She tucks her ears and blushes, “...But I like this one better.”
1085. >She gently rubs the arm that you have wrapped around her midsection.
  1086. “Yeah I am a pretty good present aren’t I?”
1087. >”Hey! I’m the only one who can make those jokes!”
1088. “Heheh! You’re the best thing that ever happened to me Rainbow...even before you made me explode all over your face.”
1089. >”Hahaha that was kinda awesome, I didn’t know there’d be that much!”
1090. “Yeah well speak for yourself, I’m not the one who soaked my couch.”
1091. >”That was your fault you know.” She smirks.
1092. “Alright alright little fireplug, let's settle down now.”
  1093. >”Lemme guess, it’s getting late and you’re tired and wanna…”
1094. >What has gotten into this mare?
1095. “Chapter one: The Mysterious Stranger.”
1096. >The sacred text of Daring Do effectively silences her.
1097. >The pegasus snuggles up against you, her limbs tangled with yours in an impossibly comfy embrace.
1098. >With a smile, you continue reading, only the sound of the howling wind outside and the crackling of the fire to interrupt your narrative.
  1099. *smack...lick*
1100. >You peek over to see the third of her stained feathers between her lips.
1101. >She freezes and grins at you.
1102. >”Better get used to it, cuz this is how we’re gonna do story time from now on!” She giggles.
1103. >You never thought the most important moment of your life would occur on an old couch on a blizzarding evening, but there was no doubt this was the beginning of a timeless bond.
  1104. >You weren’t sure what you’ve gotten yourself into.
1105. >But whatever it is, you were sure of one thing.
1106. >You would be there for her and she would be there for you.
1107. >And nothing would ever change that.
