A green I wrote a year ago. Not sure if I'll be able to continue this. If by some miracle I finish it, I may just make a fimfic version.
-
-
>It was a warm sunny day when Flurry Heart was visiting her favorite aunt.
-
-
>Twilight wanted to give her some magic lessons as well as show her some aspects of ruling a nation.
-
>Apparently, Cadence and Shining thought it would be a good experience for the filly.
-
>To prepare the young princess for adulthood.
-
>Stuff Flurry found boring.
-
>So, being the bored little filly that she was, she snuck out from the castle before Twilight could fetch her for the lessons.
-
-
>Now she was taking a leisurely stroll through the castle gardens.
-
>The filly always liked walking around this place.
-
>It gave her a serene feeling which she always liked.
-
>Which was odd, given how easily bored she could get at times.
-
>As she went forward, she noticed one of the hedgerows that encircled a certain statue.
-
-
>That part of the garden made her uneasy most of the time.
-
>It's where the the Legion of Doom (as the media called them), were imprisoned.
-
>Supposedly, they were originally placed in a more open location, but once the media buzz around them settled down, Twilight had them moved to a private spot.
-
>Flurry could understand why. They certainly stood out.
-
-
>Still, she could not help but visit them whenever she was around here.
-
>She wasn't sure why. Looking at them made her feel uncomfortable.
-
>The filly sighed, and went towards hedge wall.
-
>"Instincts are weird." She thought.
-
>As she reached the statue, Flurry couldn't help but sigh as she looked up.
-
-
>"Must have been some villains." She said to herself.
-
>Twilight had, of course, told all about her past adventures with her friends, including ones involving these three.
-
>It still felt hard to believe how dangerous they are.
-
>Especially that pegasus filly.
-
>Flurry stared at the frozen pony.
-
>It always weirded her out how she seemed to be around the same age as her (technically), yet she was imprisoned alongside the two much larger villains.
-
>The filly refused to believe Twilight's word about Cozy not having any superpowers.
-
-
>She then noticed something on the stony filly's shoulder.
-
>Bird droppings.
-
>Flurry winced, unable to help but feel a bit sympathetic.
-
>The statue was cleaned regularly once a week, but that was on Fridays and today was only Monday.
-
>Flurry knew that she probably shouldn't be feeling bad for the supervillain, but couldn't help herself.
-
>There was still a pony in there, after all.
-
>After a bit of thinking, she focused her magic onto Cozy Glow's part of the statue, with the intent on rubbing the mess off.
-
>Gross, but its not like she was touching it if its just her magic.
-
-
>As the magic enveloped the other filly, something unexpected happened.
-
>Cozy's part of the statue started to glow.
-
>And crack.
-
>Flurry's eyes widened as she looked away.
-
>Until she heard a short scream.
-
-
>She looked back to see the filly part of the statue gone.
-
>Replaced by a real, clearly panicked filly.
-
>Flurry Heart had accidentally freed Cozy Glow.
-
-
>And she had no idea what to do.
-
-
>"Wh-what's going on?! Where am I?!" The newly freed Cozy Glow asked herself in-between panicked breathing and frantically looking around.
-
>Pretty much what one would expect from a suddenly petrified, then recently released filly, as was her situation.
-
-
>Meanwhile, Flurry was in her own bout of panic.
-
>She still didn't know what to do.
-
-
>She wasn't even sure how she released Cozy. Her magic just sort of did that after it enveloped the statue.
-
>If the princess were to think straight, this would have been a realization as to why Twilight wanted to teach her magic so bad.
-
>To help her control it.
-
>Unfortunately, that wasn't the case, so there were a myriad of thoughts in her young royal head.
-
>Chief among them was them was one particular worry:
-
>She was going to be in so much trouble.
-
-
>Fearing potential punishment from Twilight, or Celestia forbade, her parents, Flurry started planning out on what to do with the frantic pegasus.
-
>Turning her back to stone was a no-go. She'd be in a different position, making it obvious that she was freed at some point.
-
>Also she had no idea how to turn somepony to stone. Neither Twilight nor her parents taught her that particular spell.
-
>Engaging in conversation now would be bad. It may take too long and anypony could come and hear them.
-
>No, she needed a quick solution.
-
-
>So, right as the still very confused Cozy Glow noticed the other filly nearby, Flurry did the most logical thing she could think of:
-
>Without warning, she tackled the flying pegasus from the ground and just as quickly teleported them both away.
-
-
>... To her room.
-
>Or at least the one Twilight had reserved for her in Canterlot.
-
-
>Almost immediately upon arrival, Cozy pushed Flurry away and backed off.
-
>"Hey!" Flurry shouted in indigence.
-
-
>Cozy just pointed a hoof at the filly and shouted:
-
>"Who are you! What's going on?!"
-
>Flurry winced. "Not so loud, somepony'll hear us!"
-
>"Wh-what..." Cozy was about to say something before she paused.
-
>Everything was now coming back to her.
-
>The final battle, the almost victory, the rainbow laser, and then...
-
>Her breathing visibly quickened.
-
-
>She looked at Flurry once again, who could only look on as Cozy was slowly piecing everything together.
-
>Both fillies stared at each other. Flurry trying to decide where to go from here, and Cozy analyzing the alicorn.
-
-
>"Who are you?" Cozy carefully asked.
-
>"F-Princess Flurry Heart." Flurry tried to say with as regally as possible.
-
>She no Celestia, but she was still...
-
>Well, she may have been a princess, but she could not take up a mature princessly look.
-
-
>Cozy didn't seem to care about that though as she kept muttering Flurry's name to herself.
-
>Then her eyes widened.
-
>"The only Flurry Heart I heard of was a baby."
-
>The other filly pondered for a bit before saying "Not anymore."
-
-
>Cozy went back to staring at Flurry for a bit, which the princess did not know what to do about.
-
>Eventually, Cozy put two and two together.
-
-
>"Oh Golly." She whispered to herself.
-
-
>As Cozy started rubbing her head, clearly in deep thought, Flurry decided to speak up.
-
-
>"Um, hi?"
-
>Cozy looked up. "What's going on?" She asked bluntly.
-
>Flurry settled on just telling the truth. "I accidentally freed you."
-
>Cozy blinked. "Freed me?"
-
>Flurry nodded.
-
>"It really did happen then."
-
>"Yep."
-
>"How could they?" Cozy asked, anger creeping into her voice.
-
>"Well, you were a villain and-"
-
>"How dare they!" Cozy shouted in rage.
-
>"Not so loud!" Flurry scolded. "Everypony will hear."
-
-
>Cozy glared at the other filly, but did not scream any more. She was smarter then that.
-
>"What do you care?" She asked in a dejected tone.
-
>"Do you know how much trouble I'll be if they find out I broke a criminal out?!" Flurry asked.
-
>"So?
-
>"I'll be punished!" The filly whined.
-
>Cozy tilted her head. "And how is that my problem?"
-
>"Because if I get caught, you'll be too, and if your caught, you will be turned back to stone!"
-
>Cozy winced at that.
-
-
>"So stop being so... noticeable and work with me here." Flurry demanded.
-
>Cozy frowned. "Fine." She said. "But if we get caught, I will find a way to get you into as much trouble as possible." She walked up to Flurry and pointed a hoof on her chest. "And I'm very good at getting ponies into trouble."
-
>Flurry frowned back, but nodded.
-
>"And I want my freedom guaranteed by the time this is over."
-
>"But how-"
-
>"I dunno! I am not letting them do... That to me ever again!"
-
-
>With Cozy's demands clear and the possibility of getting into trouble with her parents, the young princess, in all her youthful wisdom, saw no choice but to work with the unintentionally released prisoner.
-
>Because just telling Twilight was obviously out of the picture.
-
-
>"Now then." Cozy started. "I assume you have a plan?"
-
>Flurry shook her head.
-
>Cozy facehoofed.
-
-
>"Great, so were stuck here, close to being caught with no plans whatsoever." Cozy complained. "Why did you even release me?"
-
>"As I said, it was an accident."
-
>"How does one "accidentally"" Cozy said with air quotes. "Free somepony from being encased in stone?"
-
-
>Flurry shrugged. "I dunno. I just wanted to clean you a bit and-"
-
>"Clean me?" Cozy interrupted.
-
>"Well, there was bird po-"
-
>"Eeewww" Cozy stuck her tongue out in disgust. "They just let them fly on me?"
-
>Flurry rolled her eyes. "Twilight has ponies cleaning you once a week."
-
>"Once?!"
-
>"I mean, you were a statue and-"
-
>"I'm not a statue!" Cozy angrily argued.
-
>"Were." Flurry repeated. "And speaking of cleaning ponies, they come on Fridays and today is Monday, so we got around 5 days to figure this all out."
-
-
>Cozy calmed down at that as she thought over the situation. "And if somepony notices by then?"
-
>"Nah, pretty much nopony visits you three besides me, so I don't think that'll be a problem."
-
-
>Cozy looked somewhat solemn at that. "Nopony?"
-
>"Yea, apparently you were a super popular tourist destination for a few years after they beat you, but then creatures stopped visiting and Twilight moved you three to some private spot."
-
>"Oh." Cozy looked away.
-
>"Good thing too." Flurry continued, not noticing Cozy's change in mood. "It gives us time to figure something out."
-
>"Y-yea. I guess." Cozy said, before looking back to Flurry as if she realized something. "So why-"
-
-
>A knock on the door.
-
>"Flurry Heart! Come on out for your lessons!"
-
>It was Twilight.
-
>The two fillies looked at each other, neither saying anything.
-
>Flurry quickly pointed to her bed. "Under there." She whispered.
-
>Cozy nodded and jumped under it.
-
-
>"Flurry?" Twilight asked as she opened the door.
-
>"Oh, hi auntie Twilight!" Flurry greeted, trying her best to hide her nervousness.
-
>"Flurry, you knew your lessons were up. Why did you sneak away like that?"
-
>Flurry forced a smiled. "I, umm... Wanted to get some air?"
-
>Twilight shook her head and gave the filly a long lecture about attentiveness and the importance of her lessons.
-
>Boring stuff that Flurry forced herself to listen to.
-
>She could only imagine how agonizing this must be to Cozy.
-
-
>Eventually, Twilight finished with a sigh.
-
>"Come on then, Flurry." Twilight walked out of the room.
-
>The younger alicorn knew to follow, so she did.
-
>She took a glance back at her bed, seeing Cozy's head poking out from under it looking back at her.
-
>And soon closed the door behind her.
-
>She could only hope that the other filly wouldn't do anything stupid while she was gone.
-
-
>"Flurry Heart!"
-
>Flurry jumped. "Oh, um, sorry aunt Twilight." She said sheepishly.
-
>Twilight scowled. "What's gotten into you? You've been barely paying attention today."
-
>"Sorry." Flurry apologized again.
-
-
>"You know these lessons are important for you." Twilight scolded. "You need to learn to better control that alicorn magic of yours. It's for your for your own good."
-
>Oh, how right she was...
-
>"I know, I know!" Flurry insisted, this being the hundredth time Twilight told her that.
-
-
>"Is something wrong?" the older princess asked, now concerned.
-
>Flurry shook her head. "N-no, just tired." She faked a yawn. "Can we call it early today?"
-
>"Flurry, we can't just-"
-
>"Pleeeease!"
-
>"No, we need to get through lesson 15!"
-
>Flurry looked at the mare with wide, teary eyes.
-
>Unfortunately, puppy dog eyes did not work on her.
-
>"Flurry, stop that. Spike tried that all the time when he was your age. It didn't work on me then and it won't work now."
-
>The filly groaned and Twilight soon continued her lecture.
-
-
>Obviously, not much of it stuck in the young princess's head.
-
>Her mind was on other things.
-
>Namely, a certain evil pegasus in her room.
-
>Unfortunately, Twilight was far too insistent on teaching to let her go yet.
-
-
>...
-
-
>"And that's why you should always think happy thoughts when casting big spells." Twilight said, finally finishing the lesson.
-
>Happy thoughts. Easy for Twilight to say.
-
-
>"Got it! Can I go now?" Flurry asked impatiently.
-
>Twilight rolled her eyes. "Fine, but I thought you would want to-"
-
>"Kay thanks bye!" The filly ran off without listening.
-
>A surprised Twilight could only sigh as she looked on after her.
-
>"What has gotten into that filly?" She thought.
-
-
>As Flurry rushed to her room, she was greeted with a worrying sight.
-
>Cozy Glow was there, but that wasn't the issue.
-
>No, it was was the food she was happily munching on.
-
-
>Cozy smiled as she noticed Flurry, who had shut the door behind her.
-
>"Hiya!" She said joyfully as she grabbed a carrot and pointed it to Flurry.
-
>"Want some?
-
-
>Flurry's jaw dropped before asking: "Where did you get that?!"
-
-
>"From the kitchen, duh!" Cozy said while taking a bite of one of the baked goods she had stolen.
-
>"You went outside?!" The alicorn shouted. "What if somecreature saw you?!"
-
>Cozy rolled her eyes. "Relax, I'm good at sneaking." She reassured. "And really? Somecreature? Is that the norm now?"
-
>"Never mind that. What were you thinking?!"
-
>Cozy shrugged. "I was hungry." She took another bite.
-
>"I could have gotten you something."
-
-
>"Look, I haven't eaten since well before we left that old hideout." Cozy paused at Flurry's confused look. "The one me, Tirek and Chrysalis were in before we attacked Canterlot."
-
>"Oh."
-
>"Which was like, super long before... Well, you know." Cozy shuddered. "Either way, I haven't eaten in ages and cute growing fillies like me need proper meals!" She finished with a stomp of her hoof, followed by scarfing down the rest of the food.
-
-
>"But Cozy, it's risky!" Flurry practically pleaded. Somepony's could see you and tell aunt Twilight and she'll tell my parents and their gonna ground me forever!"
-
>Flurry was hoping that Cozy understood the dire predicament she was in, but for some reason, all she got was an oddly long stare from Cozy, who asked: "Really?".
-
>"Yes, really!"
-
>"Not my problem." Cozy simply said before taking another pastry to eat.
-
>Flurry wanted so badly to scream at the other filly. The only thing stopping her was the risk of somepony outside overhearing and checking up on her.
-
-
>She rubbed her forehead. "Can you please try not to get caught?" She asked tiredly.
-
>"I never intended to." Cozy answered. "Your flank is not the only one on the line."
-
>Flurry sighed and wondered how she got herself into this mess.
-
-
>All she wanted was to be nice and clean this stupid filly. She could not fathom how things went so downhill from there.
-
>Nor could she comprehend how her magic just freed Cozy like that.
-
>Normally in such cases, she's ask Twilight.
-
>But this time, that was not an option due to a certain pony.
-
-
>Flurry then looked at Cozy, then at the stolen.
-
>They did look pretty good after all this stress.
-
>She decided to grab one for herself with her magic, which the pegasus didn't seam to react to.
-
-
>So the two fillies ate in silence, trying to think of their own solutions to this mess.
-
-
>Flurry considered all her options.
-
-
>She could try turning Cozy back to stone.
-
>The castle's library may have a book for that, which she could use to learn it fast enough.
-
>But she had no way of knowing that, or if the spell was an easy one.
-
>Such magic wouldn't be freely available to study anyway.
-
-
>Plus, there was no way she could force Cozy into the exact same pose with the that facial expression.
-
>Sure, she could overpower her with alicorn might, but freezing her that specific way would be downright impossible.
-
-
>And for some reason, she really didn't like the idea of doing that in general.
-
-
>Tell Twilight and take whatever punishment she would get?
-
>That was obviously out of the question.
-
-
>Maybe just sneak out and teleport Cozy far away?
-
>Well, they'd still find out that she was missing, and with Flurry being pretty much the only one who regularly visits the statue...
-
>It wouldn't be hard to put two and two together, even if Cozy manages to go successfully into hiding.
-
>Which would be a challenge in itself. Early news headlines shortly after her stoning and subsequent school books since pretty much engraved Cozy's look into everycreature.
-
-
>As Flurry took a bite from the croissant Cozy had stolen for them, she wondered if the other filly had any bright ideas.
-
>Cozy Glow was known for her schemes, after all.
-
-
>Cozy, meanwhile, was doing what she was known for.
-
>Scheming.
-
>It was not going very well.
-
-
>Last thing she knew her body was being petrified and now she was stuck with this dumb alicorn filly who was supposed to be a baby.
-
>It was taking a lot of willpower to stay calm and not get into a panic attack.
-
>Sneaking around the castle certainly helped with that.
-
-
>Stupid Stupid Twilight. Stupid Discord. Stupid everyone.
-
-
>The worst part: She had no idea how to get out of this mess.
-
>And she was on a time limit.
-
>If she failed...
-
>Well, she didn't want to think about that for too long.
-
-
>Her only silver lining was the spoiled princess next to her.
-
>Silly filly was so scared of being forced to stay in some luxurious room for a while that she was actively working with her.
-
>No need for advanced manipulation tactics here.
-
>For now, she could try to think of ways to use her for escape.
-
-
>Problem was that there was no way of reliably taking her hostage and even if she convinced her to tell Twilight to let her go, she had doubts in Flurry's negotiation skill.
-
>Especially in this topic.
-
>Cozy pretty much fully embraced villainy after being locked in Tartarus.
-
>If they weren't giving her a second chance then, then they sure as heck wouldn't now.
-
-
>For now, she decided to get comfortable on the bed she was sitting on.
-
>If she had to flee, there might not be another chance to get near one for a long while.
-
>The distraught filly really didn't want to sleep on rocks again.
-
-
>"So, what do we do?" Flurry eventually asked.
-
>Cozy shrugged. "I dunno."
-
>"Seriously? Your like, the supervillain who's known for having big plans and you got nothing?"
-
>"Well I'm not omnipotent, okay?!" Cozy raised her forelegs. "Besides, your the princess who lives here, you should know the place better then me."
-
>"I don't live here, I'm just staying over."
-
>"Whatever, same thing." Cozy said dismissively.
-
-
>Flurry huffed. "Well, whatever, were obviously not gonna get anything done today, so I guess we gotta find you a place to sleep for the night." The alicorn thought for a bit. "And unfortunately, you'll have to stay here."
-
>"Dibs on bed!"
-
>"No, its my bed!" Flurry protested. "And I'm not sharing."
-
>"I thought you were just staying over."
-
>"Its my bed for when I'm doing that."
-
-
>Cozy frowned. "Well, I'm not sleeping on a floor again." She crossed her hooves.
-
>Flurry rolled her eyes. "Fine, I'll see if I can get you a sleeping bag or something. Happy?"
-
>"Yep!" Cozy smirked. Happy to get her way for once.
-
>Flurry got up. "It's almost time for aunt Twilight to raise the Moon." She said. "I'll go see what I can find." She went towards the door, but looked back at Cozy. "Don't sneak out this time!"
-
>Cozy responded with a smile. "Well, golly, princess, now why would I do something so dangerous?"
-
>Flurry rolled her eyes as she left.
-
-
>"Stupid Cozy, making me find a bed for her." She thought to herself as she wondered the hallways.
-
>She looked out a window to see that the Sun was already setting.
-
>Time sure flew by fast today, even if Twilight liked to have her lessons late into the day due to her royal duties.
-
>The filly wondered how she'll even get a sleeping bag in the castle.
-
>She searched, but couldn't find one.
-
>There was, after all, very little need to store any of those in a luxurious fully furnished castle.
-
>The guards barracks might have some, but Flurry couldn't think of an excuse to go there nor could she sneak in without getting caught.
-
-
>Then, she had an idea.
-
>The castle was huge.
-
>Big enough to have many unused bedrooms.
-
>Practically an entire section of them.
-
>Some with beds.
-
>So she went to one of those empty rooms.
-
>Not quite a sleeping bag, but this would have to do.
-
>So she magically lifted a bed from one of the spare guest rooms, and teleported it and herself back to her room.
-
-
>"Wowzers!" Cozy said upon seeing her new bed. "Now was that so hard?"
-
>"Shut up!" Flurry said while putting the bed down on the other side of the room, as far away from hers as possible.
-
>"Golly won't this be fun?" Cozy said. "It'll be like a sleepover."
-
>"You seem to be in a better mood." Flurry snarked.
-
>"Of course I am!" Cozy happily announced. "How could I not be after my new friend brought me such a nice thing to sleep on?"
-
>The young princess, being too tired to correct Cozy on their current relationship, so she decided that she needed some fresh air.
-
>"I'm going outside." She declared.
-
>"And leaving me all alone?!" Cozy said with clearly mock hurt.
-
>"Yes." Flurry said without hesitation. "Stay put and don't make noise."
-
-
>Outside, Flurry decided to take a nice walk at the garden.
-
>A common thing she liked to do when visiting Canterlot.
-
>It made her feel comfortable and calm.
-
>Perfect for peacefully thinking about stuff.
-
>Something she desperately needed right now.
-
>Though that was rather hard to come by at this time as her current issue stemmed from this place.
-
>She simply couldn't think of a way out of her unfortunate situation, even now.
-
>Namely a certain "statue".
-
>Why couldn't she just let the groundskeepers do their jobs?
-
>How could she be so silly? Princesses weren't supposed to do the cleaning.
-
>Stupid conscious.
-
>Either way, she did not want to go back to her room now, and Twilight was doing important princess stuff, so she was free to do whatever she wanted for now.
-
>"At least the day was almost over." Flurry thought to herself. At least she wouldn't have to think about how to spend her time for now.
-
-
>As Twilight lowered the Sun, she took that as a queue to go back inside.
-
>She had to go back to Cozy at some point, or else that filly would break their cover.
-
>Stupid villain filly.
-
>As she walked through the castle halls, she met Twilight.
-
>"Oh, Flurry. I was getting worried about you." Twilight said.
-
>The filly looked away bashfully. She rarely stayed outside this late. "Sorry auntie Twilight."
-
>Twilight smiled. "It's okay." She said before taking on a more concerned look. "Are you alright, Flurry? You seemed pretty distracted in today's lesson and you left in a hurry."
-
>Flurry rubbed her forleg nervously. "Uh, its nothing auntie, just tired."
-
>Twilight tilted her head. "Did you stay up late?"
-
>"Y-yea!" Flurry quickly confirmed. "Didn't get much sleep."
-
>"Flurry Heart, you know bedtimes exist for a reason. A proper sleep schedule is very important for a growing filly such as yourself." Twilight lectured.
-
>"I know-I know." Flurry said.
-
>Twilight petted her head. "It's for your own good. Maybe try going to bed early today?" She suggested.
-
>"Yea, I'll probably do that. Goodnight, auntie!" Flurry said as she left.
-
-
>Flurry wasn't lying when she said she was tired, and she definitely wanted to sleep early.
-
>But with Cozy sharing her room?
-
>That would be difficult.
-
-
>"Well, you sure took your sweet time." Cozy complained as Flurry got back.
-
>"I don't need to be with you all the time." Flurry retorted.
-
>"Now is that any way to treat a guest?"
-
>"Your not a guest!" Flurry said while unfolding her wings. "Your not even supposed to be here!"
-
>Cozy shrugged. "Blame your aunt." She said. "If she had just let me go herself instead of keeping me as a trophy, you wouldn't be having this problem now."
-
>Flurry really didn't want to get into this argument now. "You know what? I'm tired and I wanna sleep. I'm going to bed, so stop bothering me for now and do the same."
-
>To her surprise, Cozy didn't protest.
-
>"Oh, fine." The filly then yawned. "Golly, I guess I'm pretty tired as well." She admitted. "I haven't slept since attacking Canterlot."
-
>"You were in stone."
-
>"Doesn't count!"
-
>"Whatever." Flurry said as she magically turned off the lights. "Goodnight." She tucked herself in.
-
>Despite her previous concerns, she did manage to fall asleep pretty quickly, though at first she was a bit paranoid about Cozy also being there.
-
>It was a good thing too. If she had fell asleep after the other filly, she'd have a much harder time sleeping due to Cozy's snoring.
-
>It was quite fortunate for both fillies that no guards were patrolling close enough to hear it.
-
-
>The next day.
-
-
>Flurry woke up with a yawn from a surprisingly peaceful sleep.
-
>She smiled. Maybe this was all just a bad dream.
-
>"Oh, golly, your finally awake!"
-
>Or not.
-
>She turned to see the young pegasus filly staring at her from the borrowed bed.
-
>All that joy from a restful slumber gone in an instant.
-
>"How long were you staring at me?" Flurry asked wearily.
-
>"A while." Cozy admitted. "Pretty boring, watching you sleep like that."
-
>Flurry surpassed a sigh before jumping out of bed. Her annoyance outweighed the creepiness of Cozy just staring at her while she was sleeping for who knows how long.
-
>She needed to get out.
-
>"I'm gonna go eat. Stay here." She said before making her way outside.
-
>"Be sure to get me something!" Cozy said as she was walking.
-
>Flurry turned back. "Why should I? I'm not a maid."
-
>"Growing fillies like me need to eat. You should know that, silly!" Cozy chided. "And if I don't eat soon, I may just need to sneak out again."
-
>Flurry huffed. "Fine. I'll be back soon." She muttered.
-
>"Oh, and I got a plan." Cozy declared. "I'll tell you once you get back."
-
>Flurry took one last glance at Coz, not saying anything and went outside, careful to quickly shut the door behind her in case somepony was nearby.
-
>"What ever could she be planning?" The youngest princess thought to herself.
-
>A part of her was hoping that it would get her out of this mess.
-
>But another was keen to remind her just who she was dealing with.
-
>A plan from the villain Cozy Glow may very well be the end of her.
-
>Either way, she would have to hear her out, because she still had no plans of her own.
-
-
>Getting a simple breakfest was easy. The castle chefs had already prepared a nice morning meal for her.
-
>And thankfully, Twilight wasn't there to get suspicious of her when she asked for a couple of sandwiches afterwards.
-
>She would have also scolded her for wanting to bring them up to her room.
-
>Twilight had a silly sense of etiquette at times.
-
>Flurry just hoped that this would appease Cozy.
-
>She hurried back to her room with the food, now very much curious as to what her "guest" was planning.
-
-
>Flurry watched as Cozy scarfed down the sandwiches.
-
>The young super villain had quite the apatite.
-
>She waited until Cozy finished. "So what's the plan?"
-
>To Flurry's irritation, Cozy did not answer immediately, instead she took one big gulp to swallow what was left in her mouth down followed by a burp.
-
>Gross.
-
-
>"So anyways." Cozy began. "Your an alicorn, which means you got stronger magic then the average pony, right?"
-
>"I guess."
-
>"Good." Cozy smiled. "I know just the type of magic that could help us out, and you should be able to cast it."
-
>Flurry tilted her head. "What sort of magic?"
-
>"Transformation spells. Basically, you change the colors of my coat and mane, slightly alter the look of my cutie mark and give me a different voice." Cozy casually explained.
-
>Flurry stuttered at for a bit before voicing her outrage. "Th-that's impossible! I haven't even heard of such magic, and that would clearly be multiple spells! It's impossible!"
-
>Cozy chuckled. "Of course it is, silly."
-
>"And how would you know?"
-
>"Well, you know about how I became an alicorn for a bit, right?"
-
>Flurry nodded.
-
>"How do you think I used my horn back then?"
-
>Flurry shrugged. "I dunno, you practiced?"
-
>"Nope!" Cozy shook her head. "When we used that bell to give me all that power back then, it sort of gave me knowledge on how to use a bunch of spells, which is how I knew how to shoot lasers and make shields, among other things."
-
>Flurry now wondered what kind of magic allowed for such a thing. Of course, she knew about Grogar's bell, as it was a part of the history lessons involving the infamous villain trio, but she thought it was just a magic transferring artifact, as Twilight had told her. "Do you still remember all of that?" She asked.
-
>"Well... Kind of." Cozy admitted.
-
>"Kind of?"
-
>"It's all sort of fuzzy, so I can't give you the exact instructions, but I do know they work and exist." She said. "Except for cutie mark magic."
-
>"Then how do you know THAT exists?" Flurry gestured to Cozy's flank. "Changing colors won't do anything if ponies still see your cutie mark."
-
>"Oh, that's no biggie, I know it exists, so you should be able to cast it." Cozy waved her hoof.
-
>"How?"
-
>"Well, do you know Starlight Glimmer?" Cozy asked.
-
>The young alicorn knew Starlight. She met the mare multiple times and even got a few magic lessons from her. "Yea, what about her?"
-
>"Well, back when I was still studying in Twilight's stupid school, I did plenty of recon on my then would-be enemies, and it just so happened that Starlight kept her diary in her office." Cozy giggled. "Such a silly pony."
-
>Flurry frowned disapprovingly, but did not interrupt.
-
-
>"So for some reason, she liked to write about her past in it, and boy did she get into some interesting stuff before meeting Twilight."
-
>"Interesting stuff?"
-
>"Yea, turns out that she enslaved some village and took their cutie marks. Apparently, she could switch em' as well." Cozy rubbed her chin. "If that's possible, altering the image for a bit should be no problem."
-
-
>Flurry blinked, unsure if she should believe Cozy. Starlight was a kind and smart mare. There was no way she could do such a thing!
-
>Then again, why would Cozy lie about this? Her own freedom was on the line and she did need her, so there was no reason to make up such a thing about cutie marks. It would logically be a fatal error to make her practice for a spell that doesn't exist.
-
>Though, there was one problem with this plan.
-
-
>"OK." Flurry started. "Lets assume these spells exist."
-
>"They do."
-
>"Shut up. If they exist, then how should I know how to cast them? It's not like I was ever taught anything remotely similar to that and auntie Twilight would get suspicious if I asked her."
-
>"That's easy. Were in Canterlot, right?"
-
>"Yes, we are." Flurry said. "Where are you going with this?"
-
>"Is the restricted section still here?"
-
>"Naturally." The filly then realized what Cozy was getting at. "We can't go in there! The magic scrolls are off limits even for me and I'm not even sure if it has that kind of magic!"
-
>Cozy rolled her eyes. "Of course it has it, silly! It contains some of the strongest and most illegal spells in Equestria. Appearance alteration would obviously be there if I could find the instruction manual for Grogar's Bell."
-
>"B-but how are we supposed to get inside?" Flurry protested. "It's locked in and again, I'm not allowed there."
-
>Cozy grinned. "Why we break in, of course."
