Expiry: Never

  1. sm_reverts__showmoonshot
  2. //Le funny server-wide message. It's alright enabled I guess, it's not nearly as annoying as the Machina one.
  3.
  4. sm_reverts__enable_dropped_weapons
  5. //Other anons have already stated that it fucks decorated/destive weapons, so yeah, keep it turned off.
  6.
  7. sm_reverts__pre_toughbreak_switch
  8. //I mean unless we're all secretly masochistic and want a longer switch speed for everyone and everything, no reason to turn this on.
  9.
  10. sm_reverts__old_falldmg_sfx
  11. //Personally I think if you really want this bit of nostalgia you could just get or make a mod that does the same thing and have it specifically for you, rather than forcing it on the whole server.
  12.
  13. sm_reverts__item_airblast
  14. //As much fun as it would be to have the old momentum-cancelling, stun-locking Airblast back, it was changed for a reason. Disable.
  15.
  16. sm_reverts__item_airstrike
  17. //Removes a frankly confusing nerf to the weapon. Was the vanilla blast radius when you rocket jumped really such a huge impactful thing with the Airstrike? Enable.
  18.
  19. sm_reverts__item_miniramp
  20. //See, if we had class caps I would say enable this. But as it is, having 4+ Heavies able to do full damage immediately on revving is going to be kind of ass to play against. Disable.
  21.
  22. sm_reverts__item_swords
  23. //Sure, I guess? Consolation prize for Ghost getting his shields nerfed a smidge. Enable.
  24.
  25. sm_reverts__item_ambassador
  26. //Enable.
  27.
  28. sm_reverts__item_atomizer
  29. //Enable Variant 1.
  30.
  31. sm_reverts__item_axtinguisher
  32. //Enable.
  33.
  34. sm_reverts__item_backburner
  35. //On one hand, the Variant 2 Backburner basically becomes a neutered Phlog. On the other hand, tanky Pyros. Though the Variant 1 option with the 20% more damage also has some appeal for when one wants to just turn off their brain and do mindless W+M1. Enable?
  36.
  37. sm_reverts__item_basejump
  38. //Personally I would prefer this disabled. The reverted version allows absurd levels of air control and permanent air-time when set on fire. It'd make Trolldiers even more of a cancer to deal with.
  39.
  40. sm_reverts__item_babyface
  41. //Probably going to make the most cancerous scouts on the server even more cancer, but the only other option (Variant 1) is a really hard nerf with that -30% damage penalty, and losing all your boost on a jump. Enable.
  42.
  43. sm_reverts__item_beggars
  44. //Honestly been playing around with this on the server and I really can't tell a difference between it and the live version of the Beggar's. Rockets might be a *little* more accurate in where you're aiming them? Enable.
  45.
  46. sm_reverts__item_blackbox
  47. //Unmassacre my boy. Enable.
  48.
  49. sm_reverts__item_bonk
  50. //Enable.
  51.
  52. sm_reverts__item_booties
  53. //Funny fast Stickybomb Demos. Enable.
  54.
  55. sm_reverts__item_brassbeast
  56. //Brass Beast is already a kind of shit weapon, at least the 20% damage resistance when revved offers a consolation prize for being slower than erosion. Enable.
  57.
  58. sm_reverts__item_buffalosteak
  59. //Variant 1 seems like the best option - it's an adequately equal double-edged sword. Heavy gets to run fast and dish out melee mini-crits, but he'll also *take* mini-crit damage while under its effects. Enable.
  60.
  61. sm_reverts__item_targe
  62. //As already noted, we're in a pickle where this new plugin actually *accurately* reverts the weapon. Which means shield bashes only do damage when consuming 60% or more of the charge. *However* the upside is that immediately after a collision while charging with an enemy, Demoknights can immediately get a forced melee crit, regardless of range, and regardless of doing damage with the bash. It also means that in exchange for the huge resistances, we're going to be lacking the ability to remove debuffs with a charge. Personally, I despise demoknight - it's a gimmick sideclass with too many upsides and the ability to just forcefully eject out of any situation that might not be in their favor. Not to mention all the damage resistances the revert targe would have. I'm in favor of disabling it, only enabling it *IF* the revert Natascha is also enabled. It needs some kind of check to keep Ghost from running rampant, after all.
  63.
  64. sm_reverts__item_claidheamh
  65. //Don't really know why Valve made it so you have to have the damn thing out to get the longer charge in the first place. Enable.
  66.
  67. sm_reverts__item_carbine
  68. //This is down to personal preference, really. Do you want 3 seconds of full crits on a kill at the cost of a slower fire speed, or do you want the ability to build up charge and then use it when you need it for guaranteed mini-crits? I lean towards Disable for the control the modern version grants you.
  69.
  70. sm_reverts__item_cowmangler
  71. //Enable. The lack of being able to be critboosted more than pays for the extra rocket.
  72.
  73. sm_reverts__item_cozycamper
  74. //Enable.
  75.
  76. sm_reverts__item_critcola
  77. //Variant 4 seems to be the most "balanced" out of the reverts. No speed boost, but you get 6 seconds of mini-crits while also being vulnerable to mini-crits. Perfect tit-for-tat. Enable Variant 4.
  78.
  79. sm_reverts__item_dalokohsbar
  80. //I don't even know anyone in Live TF2 that uses this. Enable, it needs *something* to make it worth using over the Sandvich or Banana.
  81.
  82. sm_reverts__item_darwin
  83. //No. No. No. No. We are not going to give the class that can OHKO anything from ranges you can't even engage in the ability to tank quick headshots from the only thing that can actually counter him with reliability. Hard Disable.
  84.
  85. sm_reverts__item_ringer
  86. //As nice as it is to pick up ammo while cloaked with the DR, and have a juicy 90% damage resistance for the super-cloak...it's not really fun to play against. Variant 2 however, offers a middle-ground between the old broken DR and the modern limp noodle DR. Only a 50% damage resistance, can pick up ammo but *only* when uncloaked, less cloak from ammo boxes and you get the speed boost on feign. Enable Variant 2.
  87.
  88. sm_reverts__item_degreaser
  89. //Never should have been nerfed in the first place. Enable.
  90.
  91. sm_reverts__item_disciplinary
  92. //More team support is always good. Enable.
  93.
  94. sm_reverts__item_dragonfury
  95. //Enable.
  96.
  97. sm_reverts__item_enforcer
  98. //As funny as having the release Enforcer would be (Variant 1; more damage all the time, random crits, for a penalty easily negated by the DR), it'd be pretty ass to play against. What we have now is fine enough, so Enable.
  99.
  100. sm_reverts__item_equalizer
  101. //I mean, sure, I guess. If we're going to enable it, then lets go balls to the walls and use the Release version. Enable, Variant 2.
  102.
  103. sm_reverts__item_eviction
  104. //Health drains are ass. Heavy Fist-Of-The-North-Star-ing you is not. Enable, Variant 1.
  105.
  106. sm_reverts__item_fiststeel
  107. //No strong feelings here. Enable either the pre-Inferno revert, or the Variant 2 revert.
  108.
  109. sm_reverts__item_guillotine
  110. //Sure, enable.
  111.
  112. sm_reverts__item_glovesru
  113. //Enable.
  114.
  115. sm_reverts__item_gunboats
  116. //Don't terribly care.
  117.
  118. sm_reverts__item_zatoichi
  119. //Ech. I do not enjoy the thought of Demoknights being able to get forced crits, random crits, and full health out of a single weapon. Disable.
  120.
  121. sm_reverts__item_jag
  122. //Disable, otherwise it's a "why wouldn't you use this" weapon.
  123.
  124. sm_reverts__item_liberty
  125. //Personally don't really care.
  126.
  127. sm_reverts__item_lochload
  128. //120 damage against everything is kind of ass, as demonstrated lately by the sheer glut of Loch demos we have just obliterating everything in hallways by vomiting a volley of super-fast grenades down it. Two pipes already obliterates 8/9 classes, and three pipes will delete an un-buffed Heavy - do you really need the potential 40 and 60 damage overkill? Disable.
  129.
  130. sm_reverts__item_cannon
  131. //Enable, I guess? I don't really see anyone using the Loose Cannon on the server anyways.
  132.
  133. sm_reverts__item_madmilk
  134. //Potentially could make Scouts kind of ass to play against, but I do like me some team support weapons. Enable.
  135.
  136. sm_reverts__item_gardener
  137. //Considering Soldiers only need one swing to crit your ass into oblivion, I don't see the issue with reverting this since it's just a swing speed penalty. Enable.
  138.
  139. sm_reverts__item_natascha
  140. //Yes, I am going to be evil here. 300 ammo, full slowdown at any distance? Yes. Backburner Pyros, Demoknights, and Baby-Face Scouts are going to need something to tamp them down so they're not running completely unopposed. Variant 1, Enable.
  141.
  142. sm_reverts__item_panic
  143. //Old panic attack is just...ew. Shittier, hit-scan version of the Beggars. No please. Disable.
  144.
  145. sm_reverts__item_persuader
  146. //And here is where we give Demoknight some small wins. Faster recharge rate, and being able to pick up ammo to resort health, without having a penalty if you wish to hybrid-knight? Sure. Enable.
  147.
  148. sm_reverts__item_pomson
  149. //Enable Variant 1, just because I think it's funny to be able to fuck over Vaccinator Medics (it deals untyped damage, so isn't reduced by the resist shields).
  150.
  151. sm_reverts__item_powerjack
  152. //Enable.
  153.
  154. sm_reverts__item_pocket
  155. //Enable Variant 1.
  156.
  157. sm_reverts__item_quickfix
  158. //Do you want enemies healing faster than you can damage them, while capping a point? No? Good. Disable.
  159.
  160. sm_reverts__item_quickiebomb
  161. //Disable.
  162.
  163. sm_reverts__item_razorback
  164. //Ehh. I lean Enable because the regenerating shield makes it a bit *too much* of a "haha fuk u" to Spies, who are supposed to be Sniper's counter. If a Spy breaks your shield, you should have to decide whether you want to briefly retreat to get a new one, or suffer the paranoia of him coming back to stab your now uncovered ass. Enable.
  165.
  166. sm_reverts__item_rescueranger
  167. //While I'm a little loathe to give Engineers even more tools to keep them entrenched, I really don't like the metal cost on the RR for healing your buildings. Plus further down we're going to be disabling the Wrangler revert anyways so it's tempered by that healing penalty - so, Enable.
  168.
  169. sm_reverts__item_reserveshooter
  170. //We're not using the reverted Airblast mechanics so that's a small saving grace. And being able to mini-crit any airborne target makes it have a nice niche in dealing with Scouts and bombing Soldiers/Demomen. Enable.
  171.
  172. sm_reverts__item_bison
  173. //UNMASSACRE MY BOY. Enable.
  174.
  175. sm_reverts__item_rocketjmp
  176. //Hehehe funny repeatable taunt kills. Enable.
  177.
  178. sm_reverts__item_sandman
  179. //Enable. It'll at least be a nice counter to the Natascha Heavies.
  180.
  181. sm_reverts__item_scottish
  182. //Enable, I guess? Hardly anyone uses this thing on the server in the first place. Maybe it'll get some use.
  183.
  184. sm_reverts__item_circuit
  185. //Disable. The old Short Circuits made it pretty piss easy to completely shut down a Soldier or Demoman if you had the timing down right, or fast enough reflexes.
  186.
  187. sm_reverts__item_shortstop
  188. //Enable, I guess. I don't like it sharing pistol ammo but there's no way around that other than going with the modern version.
  189.
  190. sm_reverts__item_sodapop
  191. //Look, if you want mini-crits on demand, use the Crit-A-Cola. Soda Popper was best when it had the infinite jumps, imo. So Enable, Variant 1.
  192.
  193. sm_reverts__item_solemn
  194. //A hastily tacked on negative just so it wasn't a flat upgrade to stock. Enable.
  195.
  196. sm_reverts__item_splendid
  197. //Splended + Persuader should be *the* "give me charge and give it to me NOW" loadout. Trading damage resistance for speed and frequency. Modern version has faster recharge, so pair that with the reverted Persuader. Disable.
  198.
  199. sm_reverts__item_spycicle
  200. //I like being able to restore the knife with ammo, but I hate it losing the silent killer perk (which was anything but, you could hear the ice sound as easily as the backstab scream). But I'd rather have the utility the modern Spycicle gives, so Disable.
  201.
  202. sm_reverts__item_stkjumper
  203. //Enable.
  204.
  205. sm_reverts__item_sleeper
  206. //Piss headshots. Enough said. Enable.
  207.
  208. sm_reverts__item_turner
  209. //Another consolation prize for Demoknights. Respectable damage resistances but full control while charging *and* can fully-crit instead of just mini-crit after a bash. Enable.
  210.
  211. sm_reverts__item_tomislav
  212. //75% faster spin-up would be funny as fuck. However it's also broken as fuck. The 40% faster spin-up version might not be quite so cancerous, but we'll see. Enable, tentatively.
  213.
  214. sm_reverts__item_tribalshiv
  215. //Enable.
  216.
  217. sm_reverts__item_caber
  218. //Enable.
  219.
  220. sm_reverts__item_vitasaw
  221. //Enable.
  222.
  223. sm_reverts__item_warrior
  224. //Enable.
  225.
  226. sm_reverts__item_wrangler
  227. //We don't need the Sigafoo Save on the server. Disable.
  228.
  229. sm_reverts__item_eternal
  230. //I'm going to part with the conventional wisdom here - I like being able to have a disguise right off the bat with the YER. It makes it a little easier and not quite so clunky to use. So, Disable.
  231.
  232. sm_reverts__item_crocostyle
  233. //No no no no no no no. Disable.
  234.
  235. sm_reverts__item_expert
  236. //I'm torn. On one hand, it'd further shit on Pyros. On the other hand, it's not really useful to Demoknights since they'd have to use the Caber- oh right, we have the recharge plugin for that. Yeah no, Disable.
  237.
  238. sm_reverts__item_gasjockey
  239. //Paltry move speed bonus in exchange for bullet vulnerability. Sure, I guess. Enable.
  240.
  241. sm_reverts__item_hibernate
  242. //I don't really see the point in the bonus, it's way too heavy an investment for it, but people seem to want it so sure, Enable.
  243.
  244. sm_reverts__item_saharan
  245. //Could be very spicy, and I've already gotten some use out of it on the server (it makes stalking and decloaking right behind someone EXTREMELY effective). However I don't like losing the 40% longer cloak from the L'etranger, so Enable, Variant 1.
  246.
  247. sm_reverts__item_spdelivery
  248. //150HP Scouts with the ability to regain 75% of the damage they do to you as health. Mmmh, nah. Disable.
