Expiry: Never

  1. > Be Starlight Glimmer, hater of cutie marks and leader of our town.
  2. > You wake up to find a unicorn filly sleeping on you, curled up in a ball. Her coat is a pale, almost white, blue, and her mane is a purple that's just as pale as her blue coat. Oddly enough her horn isn't the same color as her coat and is instead white.
  3. > Although it's far from the oddest thing about the enigmatic filly. There's the fact that to get in your room in the first, she'd have to travel who knows how long in the wilderness to find 'our town', get by completely undetected, sneak into your house, and then get past your locked bedroom door.
  4. > Then the filly starts stir, waking up. Her bright white eyes staring deeply into your soul and smiling an eeriely wide smile. Then suddenly, she hugs you. "Big sis!~"
  5. > "E-excuse me what?" You say, confused. "Who are you? And how'd you get here?"
  6. > The filly giggles in response. "Well I'm-.... Actually I've yet to come up with a name. You can just call me little sis for now. I've manifested into existence with an otherworldly consciousness for the sole purpose of being your little sister. I'll be by your side through thick and thin big sis!~ No matter what!~"
  7. > The answer was both creepy and cryptic. Leaving you with more questions than answers. What is this filly? Is it even actually a filly? She seems harmless so far.
  8. > As you continue pondering, you weigh your options. On one hoof, she's cryptic, creepy, and seems obsessed with you and being your little sister. On the other, as far you can tell she seems to be just a filly, has yet to do anything bad, and you're not entirely opposed to the idea of having a little sister.
  9. > You sigh. "Fine then, you can stay for now. But you better not cause trouble!" You proceed to stay sternly.
  10. > Your 'little sis' smiles slightly smugly. "Wouldn't dream of it.~"
  11. > Slowly you trot down the stairs, the strange filly following behind. Seemingly struggling with walking down the stairs. Now that you think about it, she also had trouble with walking in general.
  12. > You reach the door, ready to greet the town you run, but then pause. Remembering that you're going to have to explain the filly to the rest of the town. Especially since there aren't any other fillies.
  13. > As if reading your mind, she speaks up. "You can just say you found me wandering around near the village last night and took me in as your little sister. And if anyone asks about my name, you can just say I have amnesia."
  14. > Well that makes your job easier. Exiting the your home, you brace yourself for the upcoming announcement.
  15.
  16. A few hours later.
  17.
  18. > Be 'litte sis'. Former human. Currently creepy unicorn filly.
  19. > Your introduction to big sis' town went over smoothly. Only real problem is that some of the mares immediately began fawning over you. Apparently there aren't any foals in the village currently. Although some families are expecting.
  20. > Currently you're being babysat by a pegasus called Night Glider. Your big sister is currently busy setting up a proper place of education for you and all the soon to be foals.
  21. > She had apparently been planning to do so for a while, but your sudden appearance forced her to set it up as soon as possible. You have to be educated after all.
  22. > You're right now trying to figure out hoof grip and watching ponies go about their day. Pony watching is surprisingly relaxing. At least to you. Night Glider on the other hand, is concerned by your watching of ponies.
  23. > "D-don't you want to go play or something?" Night Glider says. Nervously approaching you.
  24. > "Nah, this is way more entertaining. And quite relaxing." You respond bluntly. Looking up at the blue pegasus.
  25. > She sighs in defeat in response.
  26.
  27. At night.
  28.
  29. > Be Starlight Glimmer once more. Exhausted from setting up an entire school system in a single day.
  30. > At least you have something to look forward to tonight. According to what little outside news reaches here, a comet should be visible tonight. The entire town has gathered for this event.
  31. > Your 'little sis' is currently right next to you, mumbling to herself. Trying to come up with a good name for herself.
  32. > Looking up, you see the comet passing by. Its center is a bright white. With a tail that's a pale blue glow. You also notice a small bit of a pale purple in the comet as well.
  33. > You then glance back down to your 'sister' and realize that she kinda reminds you of the comet. With the blue, purple, and white. Just like the comet. As well as in nearly identical shades.
  34. > "You and the comet look quite similar. Both little balls purple, blue, and white." You say teasingly. Slightly amused by the coincidence.
  35. > Her eyes widen and she gasps. "I got it! Comet Cutter! That'll be my name!" She says, jumping up and down excitedly.
  36. > Comet Cutter then promptly hugs you and nuzzles into your chest. Her tail wagging slightly.
  37. > Maybe this won't be so bad.
  38.
  39. A couple of years later.
  40.
  41. > Be Comet Cutter.
  42. > Currently playing with the other foals. All of whom you're at least 4 years older than. Or at least this filly body is.
  43. > Surprisingly they're some of the few ponies that aren't creeped out by you. And they don't care you're Starlight's sister.
  44. > Actually, the other foals quite like her. Just shows how amazing big sis is!~
  45. > Most of the adults are creeped out by you. Especially after you were caught watching ponies at night through their windows. Gaining the nickname creepy Comet.
  46. > Big sis Starlight proceeded to scold you for that. No more pony watching for you for a long time.
  47. > A copper colored colt tosses a ball to you and you happily toss it back. It's fun, but you prefer throwing other things, knives and rocks. But you're only allowed to throws those at trees and even bigger rocks.
  48. > Also Starlight doesn't really like your use of knives for throwing. Or the fact you keep suggesting throwing rocks at ponies to punish them. She says it's concerning for a foal to think that way, or a pony in general
  49. > You don't want to disappoint your sister, so you're trying to be better. Unfortunately it's easier said than done. Something you learned after a stallion who showed up at the village and ended up insulting Starlight. You ended up throwing a rock at him, and scaring him away. You proceeded to be grounded for a whole month.
  50.
  51. > Be Starlight Glimmer.
  52. > Currently you're greeting a group of 6 mares, one of whom is an alicorn. This is perfect for your plans.
  53. > And best of all, your little sister is busy playing with the other foals. So you don't have to worry about her scaring them away, like she did with that one stallion.
  54. > As if on cue, Comet Cutter enters. "Big sis! I'm back! None of the other foals wanted to play rock wars, so I got bored. Can I hang with you please?"
  55. > The six mares turn to look at her. The pink pony, aptly named Pinkie, pipes up. "Ooo!~ Sounds fun!~ Sounds like the type of game my family would play back on the rock farm! How do you play it?"
  56. > "Oh hey, an eldritch horror." Your little sister responds bluntly, getting a bunch of confused looks in response. Although you swear she looks a bit intimidated by Pinkie. "Well you throw rocks at each other until only one pony is standing."
  57. > "Sounds... not very fun." The pink mare responds. "Actually that seems quite painful."
  58. > "No pain, no gain, you terrifying pink entity." Comet responds calmly.
  59. > "Ahem! How about I show you six around our town?" You ask. Trying to get their attention off your sister before she does something.
  60. > OurTown.MP3
  61.
  62. Around a day later, at night.
  63.
  64. > Be Fluttershy.
  65. > Currently you're outside, having just found out that Starlight Glimmer still has her original cutie mark. Suddenly you hear a chuckle.
  66. > Looking down, you see Starlight's sister. Looking up at you and smiling an amused and smug grin. "Was wondering how long until another pony figured out big sis' secret. You're an intriguing one, Miss melted butter."
  67. > Well that wasn't the reaction you were expecting. Also did she just call you melted butter?
  68. > "Besides big sis and the other foals, the ponies in this town are so boring and dull. Too moronic and blind to see the obvious. So boring and frustrating to converse with. But they are amusing to watch."
  69. > Okay, there is something seriously wrong with this filly.
  70. > "Wanna play a little before you go back to sleep? I'm not supposed to stay up late, but I'm especially restless tonight, and very bored."
  71. > Perhaps it would be best to indulge her, so she doesn't expose you to Starlight. So hesitantly you follow the freaky filly behind her house.
  72. > "What a lovely night. Shame there aren't any comets tonight. What do you think?" She turns to look at you, an eeriely wide smile on her face.
  73. > "Uh-uhm.... Sure..." You respond nervously.
  74. > She picks up a rock off the ground. "Too bad I can't just create my own comets. Despite my namesake, I don't have any control over comets. At least I don't think I do." She chuckles. "It's not like I could throw a rock into the sky, like this, and turn it into a comet." She says as she throws the rock.
  75. > As if on cue, her horn glows a bright white, her flanks emit a bright light, and a loud boom rings out. The rock colliding into a tree, blowing it to smithereens, and soaring into the sky, Comet's magic wrapping around it and turning it into a comet. Her flank now sporting a white, blue, and purple comet that's in the shape of a blade. "Huh, guess I can do that.... Huh, neat."
  76. > Before you know it, the entire town is awake and outside. Starlight Glimmer rushing up to you and her sister. "What is going on out here!?"
  77. > "I made a comet!" Comet Cutter responds happily. Hugging her big sister.
  78. > She gently pats her sister's head while staring awkwardly at you. "That's... great..." Awkwardly ushering both of you inside, away from onlookers.
  79. > You promptly go to bed and pass out. Overwhelmed by all that has happened. Finding out Starlight's secret. That creepy chat with Comet Cutter. Comet Cutter almost immediately one uping it by creating an actual comet and getting her cutie mark. All of it happening at once is enough to make your head spin. So the inky blackness of unconscious is very welcome.
  80.
  81. Later, in the morning.
  82.
  83. > Be Starlight Glimmer. Currently exposed in front of everypony for being a liar. All the arguing with your town is cut off by a laugh.
  84. > You turn to your sister, who is the one laughing. "Took you all long enough to figure it out. Guess there are actual brains in your skulls and they aren't empty." She says with a smug grin. You never even realized she knew. "At least you figured it out before my unmarking. Definitely wasn't looking forward to it. Always looked quite painful, to be honest."
  85. > Now the crowd is glaring at her as well. You promptly grab her and run to your home.
  86. > Revenge time!
  87. > Cut to the mountains. You running away from the village with the cutie marks of the six mares who ruined everything. Your little sister riding on your back, clinging tightly to you. Some of the townsfolk hot on your trail.
  88. > You're almost at the caves. So close. But before you could reach it you're buried in snow. Dropping the jars that contain the cutie marks, the glass shattering. The cutie marks flying away. Your sister is out cold.
  89. > Before you know it, you're confronting the alicorn, Twilight Sparkle. Your unconscious sister on your back. Unfortunately you're out matched and out numbered. So in a bright flash of light, you run away with your adoptive sibling, into the cave.
  90. > Vengeance will be yours!
  91.
  92. Couple days later.
  93.
  94. > Be Comet Cutter.
  95. > You and your big sister are camping out in the wilderness. Starlight planning potential plots for revenge. Meanwhile you find ways to keep yourself entertained.
  96. > Currently you're testing out your magical abilities. It's not just rocks. You've successfully made comets with sticks, a toy ball, and throwing knives.
  97. > Another thing you've learned, it seems that the strength and power of your comets is connected to the amount of willpower you use. You wonder just what the limits of your will is, since you've already done the seemingly impossible through sheer will.
  98. > But before you could ponder more about what your full power and limits truly are, your big sister speaks up. "Please try to do not do that so often. You'll risk giving away where we're hiding."
  99. > "Sorry sis." You respond. Letting out a slightly annoyed sigh. Looks like you won't be experimenting for a while.
  100. > Hopefully Starlight enacts her revenge sooner than later. So you can get back to testing your power. And also because you're starting to get sick of camping. You never thought you'd ever miss the village, but you very much do right now.
  101.
  102. Sometime during season 5, episode 12, amending fences.
  103.
  104. > Be, a currently very angry, Comet Cutter.
  105. > Normal at worst, you've only ever been annoyed with your sister. But today she's genuinely pissing you off.
  106. > You and her have been stalking the stupid purple pony that brought down her reign in 'our town'. But that's not the source of your anger. You're actually amused by it. Especially since she'd always tell you to stop your hobby of pony watching.
  107. > No, what's pissing you off is that you haven't eaten all day because Starlight has been busy following around Twilight. And now you're in a restaurant. Surrounded by food. Watching the lavender latrine and some other unicorns eat.
  108. > Your stomach growling like a feral beast ends up being the straw that breaks the camel's back. "Big sis, I'm hungry!" You whine in annoyance and anger.
  109. > "Later Comet, we most gather more information on Twilight Sparkle!" She retorts, angering you even more.
  110. > "No! I'm hungry! I haven't eaten all day!" You say angrily, raising your voice. Causing Starlight to get nervous since you're starting to draw attention to the two of you.
  111. > "Fine! Fine! Just please quiet down..." She says, relenting. You happily ordering baked ziti and a root beer. Your sister grumbling as she pays for it.
  112.
  113. During the season 5 finale.
  114.
  115. > Be Twilight Sparkle. Princess of friendship and currently dealing with dealing with a time traveling communist cult leader & her younger sibling who can create comets.
  116. > Well technically Spike is dealing with her. Although he's not really dealing with as much as distracting. Trying his best to dodge the comets with a little help from you, whenever you can take you attention off Starlight for a couple of seconds.
  117. > Thank Celestia you're not alone. Taking on the two by yourself would be a nightmare.
  118. > Unfortunately you fail to stop then once more. This time, a comet strikes the young Rainbow Dash, knocking her out of the sky. You'd catch her, but you're already being sucked back to the present.
  119. > This time everything seems quiet. Too quiet. There are no birds chirping or bugs buzzing. Massive craters dot the land. You can see Ponyville in ruins in the distance. Destroyed and blown to bits.
  120. > Looking up at the night sky, you can see the sun and moon up in the sky together, both stuck in place. Similar to the incident with the everfree forest and the tree of harmony. And all throughout the sky are countless comets.
  121. > Walking closer to the ruins of Ponyville, you notice skeletons. Most of which are filled with countless knives.
  122. > This is definitely bizarre, as you're unsure what villain could've caused this. This fits none of the villains you've faced before.
  123. > As if on cue, you hear hoofsteps behind you. A feminine voice speaking up. "Interesting. I thought annihilated every living creature in Equestria. Who are you?"
  124. > Turning around, you see a mare. She's very tall, rivaling, or even possible exceeding, Celestia's height. Her mane and tail are like the tail of a purple comet. Her mane and tail, again like the tail of a comet, are very long. Her eyes glow a bright blinding white. Her horn is also white and extremely long, longer than any you've seen before. Although it's not shaped like a horn. No, it's shaped like a blade. Her coat color and cutie mark however, are the exact same as Comet Cutter's, letting you realize who this is.
  125. > You're talking to Starlight's little sister. But how'd she get so big and powerful? Why did she do all of this? What is this pony really?
  126. > "I'm Twilight Sparkle and this is Spike.... Why'd you do this? And how?..." You say nervously.
  127. > She laugh loudly in response. "I'll keep this simple. There once was were a pair of sisters. A filly by the name of Comet Cutter, and her big sister Starlight Glimmer. That filly was me."
  128. > "But I wasn't always a filly... I was once a sad creature, from another world. Living my day to day life in that world. Empty and hollow. With no one to care about. I desired a way out. To relive my youth and get the family & friends I never had. And perhaps by fate, perhaps by chance, or even, perhaps through sheer will, it happened. I was so happy that I didn't even care that I was now a pony. I got my name because of a comet that appeared that night. My sister said the white, purple, and blue of comet reminded her of me. As time went on, me and big sis grew closer and closer."
  129. > "Our town was far from any other. Isolated and alone. In Our Town, Starlight ensured equality by getting rid of pony's cutie marks. She secretly kept hers and covered it with makeup. I could always tell though. But I never said anything. Although one day the royal guard attacked. I assume word somehow got out of Our Town, although to this day I don't know why. In the battle was the first time I made a comet. I could feel my will flow out my horn and flow into the object I threw. And in blinding flash of light it became a comet and I earned my cutie mark. Starlight let me keep mine, claiming it was only for war reasons. We were able to repel them with my comets and big sis' magic. But it was only the start of the war."
  130. > "Overtime I figured out how to control comets as well. Slamming them down into foes like meteorite. It just took more will. Over time my will to destroy our foes became stronger, and it did, so did my magic. Bigger and stronger I grew, faster than a filly should've. But there were no times for questions or answers to those questions. From me or any pony else. There was still a war happening."
  131. > "Then one fateful battle, the two alicorn rulers came to put an end to the war once and for all. They mercilessly slaughtered my sister in front of me. The only pony I ever truly cared about. No, not the only, the only living thing. Without her, I truly had nothing."
  132. > "And then they tried to convince me to become the student of them both. That my power was special and needed to be nutured. Treating me like I was just a misguided filly. And at that point I felt my blood boil. Big sis had power that was special. Not to mention she nutured both mine and her power. She was a shining star who was truly unique and priceless. And they tore her to shreds."
  133. > "I could feel my will changing and growing. From destroying those who threatened my home and family to all of Equestria. For if Starlight doesn't get to live, why should any one them? Before I knew it, it was raining down comets and I had become what you see before you. Standing over the sliced ribbons of what were the two rulers."
  134. > "Within only a day, I had annihilated all of Equestria. Nothing was left. Yet I still felt hollow..... I still missed her.... I was alone in a wasteland.... My only company being my own comets...."
  135. > The alternate version of Comet Cutter begins to break down crying. ".... I'm tired... So tired.... Yet I a part of me refuses to give up.... Even though continuing is nothing but agony.... Tell me, why are you here Twilight Sparkle? How could you exist in the first place?"
  136. > "I-I'm from a d-different timeline... I'm trying to fix things. In my timeline, y-your home isn't attacked by the royal guard." You say hesitantly.
  137. > Her face lights up with hope. "I know this is selfish to ask, especially after all I've done.... But could you please protect my big sis, and make sure she stays safe?..."
  138. > "I.... promise....." You respond. Using the table to return to the past with Spike.
