Bio of Deep Rest

 

A hard snouted, off the wall, and catty batpony nurse, Deep Rest takes no shit yet dishes it out to anypony who tries her and even those who don't. Having grown up through many grisly events in the batpony projects of Bigcity, she developed a spine of steel that helps her yank ponies from the jaws of death on a weekly basis. In whatever free time she can squeeze around her marathon shifts, she plays as hard as she works. She and her best friend Blue Dream were some of the original forgers of the now popular Emo movement, and is still a regular crowd-killer and unignorable presence at every party or concert she attends.

 

Loaded with roasts, gossip, and a wicked sense of humor, Deep Rest is hailed as one of the elder bats for all of the 20-somethings trying to get their footing (hoofing?) in the unforgiving City. Her inner circle is small, tight, and selective, but like anypony who falls in her care; she's deeply compassionate and fiercely protective of her friends. So committed she is to her cause, that she's turned down many offers to move up the ladder into a more cushy role for her age. Instead, she opts to stay in the trenches as an emergency trauma nurse to directly help the ponies who need it most. More often than not, she's the one pony that will always come through and make something right, however chaotic a process it may be. With every life she saves, the light behind her eyes gets brighter, but every one she can't weighs heavy on her snowpity, all 4 of them.

 

Hardened by two decades of partying, Deep Rest still loves to paint the town red and has the liver to hang with the "kids" in their twenties. Get to know her, and you'll quickly see the Equestria she grew up in. Frequenter of musty pool halls and grungy flop houses, she still crowds the radio to listen in to big games, and is a sucker for long, drama filled phone conversations over her landline. Oh yeah, she loves a good pixelated cat meme too. When there's no dispute to snuff out or fan the fire on, she can finally treat herself to a nice night of Gabby Gums while filing her nails and fangs.
