Justice's Reaper Brawl at the Selene Gaol (8/17/2018)

Expiry: Never

  1. >Selene Gaol
  2.
  3. >October 30
  4.
  5. >It hasn't been that long since you've all been here, but with most of the shadows exterminated, it's mostly been used for dramatic fights.
  6. >Tonight, twenty two faceless men march once again all the way up to the prison, some sleepy and complaining but proceeding anyway while others shout out in hype and bloodlust
  7.
  8. "THE TIME HAS COME AGAIN!"
  9.
  10. "We've been getting closer every time!"
  11.
  12. "Have we? I think we managed to get like five down last time before they fucked us up."
  13.
  14. "Better than the time before. Death started fighting for them."
  15.
  16. "Nuthin' personnel Tower."
  17.
  18. >A few of the faceless arcanas smack Death upside the head as they breach the last staircase and show up in the white surface of the moon.
  19.
  20. "Do we even have a plan for this?" Magus speaks up
  21.
  22. "I'm glad you asked!"
  23.
  24. >Star and Justice turn dramatically, pointing straigth at Magus and then at the sky
  25.
  26. "This won't be just a regular fight! It's Nightmare Night, when we are at our strongest!"
  27.
  28. "We are?"
  29.
  30. "The day is ours! We can't lose!"
  31.
  32. "Yes we can, I need to get up early tomorrow, come on!"
  33.
  34. "FUCK YEAH, BALLS TO THE WALL ON BIRTHDAY BRAWL!"
  35.
  36. >Protests and cheers erupt in random doses as the crowd seems split, yet not one of your brothers steps back!
  37. >Even Magus, although slightly confused sticks around and stretches, preparing for the battle of fates!
  38.
  39. "Hierophant will be our analyzer as usual, but everyone else...Let's go! Twenty-Two Reaper fight!"
  40.
  41. >With a cheer of "YEAH!", stronger from some over others, all of the arcanas summon their personas, a myriad gathering of mythological figures, heroes, demons and beasts rearing up on the moon shouting a challenge to the heavens!
  42.
  43. >Imediately, a chill as if somebody walked over your collective tombs permeates the crowd....
  44. >It's so much stronger than the first time fighting the Reaper on the moon, it's as if the very space around your bodies froze in place.
  45. ><They're coming all at once. I hope you're right about us being at our strongest.>
  46.
  47. "Of course I am!" One anon shouts confidently!
  48.
  49. "...I don't feel much stronger."
  50.
  51. "I am the fucking strong anyway" Strength shrugs. "But feels like the usual."
  52.
  53. "Wait, what time is it?"
  54.
  55. ><11:45, why?>
  56.
  57. "Oh."
  58.
  59. >There is a pause as a couple anons stop to think, then whisper to each other.
  60.
  61. "Oh, we....We should've waited, shouldn't we?"
  62.
  63. "Can we hold off enough to get there?"
  64.
  65. ><Did you idiots actually have a plan you didn't tell the rest of us?!>
  66. >Upon the collective realization, before another word, blank, bone white faces start appearing from the very ground you're all standing on, followed by bussiness suits, ties and skeletal wings as a number of personifications of Death rise to the top of the Moon
  67. >Their skeletal black energy wings retract into their backs, however the unnerving pressure of their very existence falls upon you all like a blanket of pure lead, stealing warmth and pushing you down.
  68. ><Hng...>
  69.
  70. "It's alright," Justice groans. "We just need to hang on for a while until we can do it! They can't fight at full power just yet!"
  71.
  72. "I hope you know what you're doing!" Empress shouts from the back
  73.
  74. "A fight's a fight!" Lust cracks his knuckles with a grin. "I've been wanting to put some new moves to practice."
  75.
  76. "Hey Emps! I can paint a target on some of them to help you out, whaddyasay?" Death shoots Emperor double finger guns as his brother casually flips him off. "Rude."
  77.
  78. ><Here they come!>
  79.
  80. "Let's go!"
  81.
  82. >Selene Gaol
  83.
  84. >The surface of the moon is covered in new craters from the chaotic brawl between the humans and the Reapers
  85. >Although the number of wings has grown exponentially as somehow the arcanas survive for long enough to deal damage to Death in all its forms, the number of them struggling to stay on their feet is much bigger and the army of Reapers seem to barely be faltering!
  86.
  87. "God...Damn it..."
  88.
  89. ><They're all a little over halfway there. That's impressive, but we've just about run out of items and you're all pretty low on HP. I think this is another bust.>
  90. "No, not yet! Come on, it should be almost time!" One of them shouts, staggering back to his feet.
  91.
  92. ><Time...Speaking of that...The clock shall strike midnight in three...two...>
  93. >Although nothing changes on the moon, a few of the humans hold their breaths, as if waiting.
  94. >The army of Reapers merely raise their wings, preparing for a secondary assault.
  95.
  96. "Well, let's go out with a bang and party hard to forget tomorrow! Witness me!
  97.
  98. "Guess this is it for today....Fuck, we're gonna be sore tomorrow..."
  99.
  100. "We should've tried focusing them down one by one again!"
  101.
  102. "Maybe we'll get lucky and they'll all miss..."
  103.
  104. >Some of the humans seem to be bracing for defeat at the hands of the Ultimate Reality, but some clench their fists.
  105.
  106. "No...We won't lose now! There's one more thing we can do! We have a trump card!"
  107.
  108. "We got this idea last year....When Mom fought with the Dream Team again. We have more power than this! We have much more power that we can use to win!"
  109.
  110. "We may have come here to fight by ourselves, but there are many others with us too! Our bonds will stay with us as long as we live! And now that it's nightmare night again, I know 'they' are looking back on this world too! Come on, brothers! Let's open our hearts!"
  111.
  112. >As they make their speech, cintilating blue cards materialize in front of each of them, as if they were getting ready to summon their personas once more...
  113. >But for each of them, a second, third and fourth card slowly shimmer into reality! Then five, six, more and more until each one is surrounded by the glow of 22 blue cards!
  114. >Seeing this display the strength of the rest of the legion of fools is renewed and they stand up, cheering as more and more cards gleam into view!
  115.
  116. Dreams and dreamers have once again reunited! Your heart are as one once more!
  117.
  118. Show them the true terror of the Wild Card!
  119.
  120. ><This....I wasn't expecting this, but it's working! Of course the bonds we all made as Anonymous would still work just like they did for our mother!>
  121.
  122. >The arcanas cheer and crack their knuckles as their feel the familiar power wash over them!
  123. >Some point to the Reapers and laugh, mocking their enemy
  124.
  125. "Bet you never saw this coming, slenderfags!"
  126.
  127. "Dicemaid, don't let us down now!"
  128.
  129. "FUCKING INVINCIBLE!"
  130.
  131. "God damn it, Mary!"
  132.
  133. ><You haven't been refreshed! I managed to give you back a little HP and SP, but that's all! And we're still out of items!>
  134.
  135. "We only need one hit!" Judgement raised his fist. "Brothers! Let's do 'that'! The time has come once again!"
  136.
  137. "Dude, this is so fucking anime..."
  138.
  139. "Shut up and roll with it! It's time...To combine!"
  140.
  141. "PERSONA!"
  142.
  143. >With a voice as one, the twenty two humans flip through their cards and break right through their Judgement cards!
  144.
  145. >One by one, descending from the black sky, the pale flowy figures of Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto bear down on the battlefield, each holding one long, silver bow in one hand while on the other rests a polished silver mirror wore like a buckler
  146. >In the middle of them soars a single mechanical valkyrie, training its mechanical sights on the army of Reapers under the gaze of the army of Moon Gods
  147. "We only have one shot, don't we?"
  148. "Then let's make it count! Judgement!"
  149. "Leave it to me!"
  150. >Razgriz shots up into the sky, spreading her mechanical wings and absorbing the light of the stars until it's so far away and so brilliant it looks like a planet in the universe.
  151. >Meanwhile the remaining 20 personas all raise their silver longbows to the heavens, their hair flowing into the bows and becoming shining celestial arrows that they all let loose towards the valkyrie
  152. >Instead of the usual spreading and becoming a second moon, the arrows shoot off like rockets and explode in the distance, forming a new moons....each one so far away and so brilliant they look like stars....
  153. >Which then start to grow bigger and bigger!
  154. "It won't be here in time!"
  155. "Leave it to me! Rarzgriz!"
  156. >At his command the least brilliant star in the crashing constellation glows in gold and red, and the distant moons all realign, a chain of power jumping from one to the other and drawing a brand new shape of pure energy in the sky!
  157. >A gigantic construct of raw godly energy towers accross the sky, its glow extending as far as the eye can see, brighter than any star
  158. >And from its back, titanic wings sproud, and gleaming beams of light rain down on the Reapers, tearing into them....And leaving glowing red targets on each of their bodies!
  159.
  160. "Let's end this!"
  161. "Crush them all!"
  162. "JUST!"
  163.
  164. Team Up Attack: CELESTIAL CATACLYSM!
  165.
  166. With a might flap of its wings, the construct of energy fires down volley after volley of spherical energy charges into the enemy!
  167. >Each one spins and crashes down on the reapers, tearing them apart with sheer power and impact, punching right through the very foundation of the tower and imediately being followed by another one!
  168. >Like a barrage of missiles produced to take down the gods themselves, the constellation keeps firing volley after volley of heavy artillery, growing smaller and smaller with each flap of its wings but covering the field with unmatched power, blinding and blowing away everything even near the points of impact!
  169. >Finally, only one final glowing perfectly round sphere addorns the sky, with the pitch black figure of a mare's head stamped on its surface
  170. >The mare flies right out of the moon and drags it towards the ground one last time, flying right through the ground and letting its charge crush into the field, anihilating all that stands on its way!
  171.
  172. >The force of the attack blew the legion of fools all accross the field, some struggling to get up, some stuck in craters
  173. >Smoke and debris flood the field, obstructing the view
  174. >As it slowly clears....
  175. >You can all see the battered, beaten form of a legion of Reapers on the ground as many of them slowly dissolve into black energy, falling apart as if made of dust and shadow
  176. >A few ones somehow still have the strength to stand....However even their strength seems to run out with the movement as they also are torn apart, crumbling into the brand new crater that the Fantasia has acquired.
  177.
  178. "Is....Is it...?"
  179. "Did we..."
  180.
  181. >Soon enough the legion of fools holds their breath as they wait, expecting, wishing....
  182.
  183. ><......No remaining shadows. They were all obliterated by the last attack. We...We won!>
