145. >claws.
146. >Scrabbling for purchase
147. >Louder than before,
148. >and closer.

173. >Not much further now.
174. >Good thing to
175. >turning your wagon's wheels with magic is hard!
176. >Not too hard of course.
177. >You are Great and Powerful!

205. >You are Trixie
206. >And you cary on with practiced ease.
207. >Your vardo rolls on.
208. >Toward the wide mouth of the Diamond Dog's cave.
209. >"See the dextrous manipulation of reality itself!"
210. >They've definitely noticed you.
211. >"Be AWED with power you never knew existed!"
212. >Diamond pups yip and jump excitedly
213. >Some rush in to the cave
214. >"Power you never knew *could* exist!"
215. >More Diamond Dogs emerge
216. >ears perked,
217. >wagging tails,
218. >some with lolling tongues.
219. >The wagon trundles on.
220. >"For while Trixie has graced your home with her presence before,"
221. >that *was* some time ago."
222. >The wagon stops.
223. >"Gather round and see Trixie as you've never seen her before!"
224. >You stand on your ledge.
225. >Hat cocked just so.
226. >Cloak billowing behind you.
227. >"Blessed with talent beyond any other unicorn!"
228. >"Trained by Princess Celestia herself!"
229. >"Victor of a duel with *Princess* Twilight Sparkle!"
230. >Memories
231. >Not now
232. >"Ruler of Ponyville..."
233. >"Until I got bored and left!"
234. >"The one! The only! The Great and Powerful Trrrixie!"
235. >You leap from your vardo,
236. >subtly hitting a switch as you go.
237. >Your magic carries you higher than a mere leap would have,
238. >and slows your descent to a glide.
239. >From your wagon trumpets blare and cannons launch confetti.
240. >Smoke erupts and a stage juts forth.
241. >Perfect timing, you think,
242. >magically adjusting your fall.
243. >You touch down as the smoke clears.
244. >A wand in your hoof.
245. >A dramatic flourish and bow
246. >To a cacophony of excited howls
247. >and tails drumming the ground.

252. >You are Trixie
253. >And you have the audience in the frog of your hoof
254. >You flash your perfect smile
255. >And raise your wand
256. >Sweeping the crowd
257. >You can't help but laugh as their heads follow it's movement
258. >Every last one of them
259. >Silly things
260. >You play to it.
261. >"Hahaha!" Your voice gradually rising in pitch
262. >"Behold! An artifact from *beyond*!
263. >
Just a stick, yo!
264. >"Unknown to Griphons!"
265. >What should I call it?
266. >"Unknown to Taurs!"
267. >Think fast
268. >"Unknown to to the Dragons, and the mighty Diamond Dogs!"
269. >What was that thing called?
270. >"Unknown even to Ponies!"
271. >Lives under the sea, part pony part octopus, little bat-wings?
272. >"All but two, that is!"
273. >Ah, that's it!
274. >"Brought to this world by Starswirl the Bearded himself!"
275. >"Used to work wonders!"
276. >"Then banished beyond the sea by Princess Celestia herself
277. >because even SHE feared it's might!"
278. >"Tremble, for you are in the presence of the dreaded Wand of Colthulhu!"
279. >They all actually gasped.
280. >perfect
281. >"But *I*, the Great and Powerful Trixie could not be denied!"
282. >"I, through wit and sorcery unmatched,
283. >stole this artifact from the depths of Tartarus itself!"
284. >"I, and I alone know the secret to it's use!"
285. >"But the Great and Powerful Trixie is not cruel!
286. >"The Great and Selfless Trixie would share the marvels of this relic!"
287. >"Who would witness it's power?"

294. >You are Trixie
295. >The center of attention
296. >As it should be
297. >The Diamond Dogs stand transfixed by the stick
298. >Eyes glazed, ears down
299. >You levitate the wand
300. >Flourishing here and there
301. >Your pink aura sparking and glowing
302. >"Not even The Great and Powerful Trixie can use it in hoof."
303. >"It's magic is too dangerous!"
304. >"One of Starswirl's apprentices tried...
305. >and was seen dragged away by tentacled horrors!"
306. >"Things from beyond the veil of worlds!"
307. >You hold it steady
308. >A few meters over the crowd
309. >With your magic you call forth screams
310. >Shrill and wild
311. >They sound like they're coming from the wand
312. >with a wispy vapor
313. >it darkens and thickens
314. >A cloud
315. >More magic!
316. >From the lobes and pillows of smoke a face forms
317. >Twisted and rotten
318. >Then melts away.
319. >Another one
320. >larger and more monstrous than the last
321. >You look around
322. >They're all focused on the show above them.
323. >A few of the pups are hiding their eyes behind their paws
324. >More magic
325. >A new shape rises
326. >Swift and terrible
327. >Like a shark attacking from below
328. >it swallows the monsters face
329. >and leers at the crowd
330. >Gasps, and even a whimper or two.
331. >Not just from the pups
332. >Ha!
333. >Here we go...
334. >Dramatically you allow the pink aura of magic to sputter.
335. >You make the screams louder
336. >Add new voices
337. >Twist them
338. >Some stones fall down the mountainside
339. >Some of them turn to look
340. >Now a voice for the face
341. >"Pathetic creatures"
342. >"You can not hold me! I will devour you!"
343. >Not good enough for ponies, you think
344. >More than enough for these mutts.
345. >Some of the pups flee in the cave
346. >"Silence beast!" You shout.
347. >"You are at my command!
348. >I the Great and Powerful Trixie will not allow you to harm!"
349. >"Begone!"
350. >Your horn glows brighter, so does the wand.
351. >The face contorts in agony
352. >it keens as it's absorbed back in to the stick.
353. >It drops
354. >The Diamond Dogs flee from where it lands
355. >You smile, allowing yourself to seem just a *bit* flustered.
356. >They look back and forth from the wand to you
357. >And erupt in cheers
358.

363. >You are Trixie
364. >You just saved the day
365. >Or so they think
366. >You hop down from your stage
367. >Suddenly, a pin drop would be loud
368. >You stroll nonchalantly toward the wand
369. >quietly laying in a circle of dumbstruck Diamond Dogs
370. >They part like water as you approach
371. >"Not e-ven the Immaterium's Horrors can match the Great and Powerful TrrrixIE!"
372. >You emphasize the last sound
373. >savoring it
374. >"But really..."
375. >Your horn glows and the wand jumps to your cloak-pocket
376. >The Diamond Dogs jump too.
377. >"was there *ever* any doubt?"
378. >You smirk a moment
379. >then saunter back to stage
380. >Feeling their eyes on you
381. >Relishing it
382. >Sitting on stage now
383. >Hind hooves crossed
384. >dangling languidly off the edge
385. >Time for the goodies
386. >"Now then"
387. >"The Great and Powerful Trixie,
388. >quondam royal student,
389. >triumphant in uncounted duels
390. >and contests of magic,
391. >has juuusstt
392. >saved your bacon."
393. >You like that phrase
394. >Picked it up from the Gryphons
395. >A murmur passes through the crowd
396. >A trio of them sprint to the cave
397. >"Trixie will accept your adulation..."
398. >The briefest of pauses
399. >The faintest of smiles
400. >"Now"
401. >As one they rush to you
402. >Stopping just shy of your hooves
403. >Yipping cheering and whining
404. >Hopefully they don't piddle again
405. >You raise your gorgeous face to the sun.
406. >The sounds and more importantly
407. >The feelings wash over you.
408. >A warmth swells in your chest
409. >You smile more broadly
410. >And look toward the cave
411. >careful to let only the barest of glances fall on your worshipers
412. >They should be returning with your reward soon
413. >Last time it was a basket full of glittering jewels
414. >Ah there!
415. >Two of the cave-sprinters emerge
416. >Empty-handed
417. >Behind them
418. >Movement in the gloom
419. >That must be number three
420. >...
421. >What under Celestia's sun is that!?

428. >You are anon
429. >Still alive
430. >Maybe you'd be better off dead
431. >Chains around your wrists and ankles
432. >Pushing a heavy gem-laden cart
433. >There's barely any light
434. >Even less food
435. >And brutish foul-smelling... things are everywhere.
436. >Following you
437. >taunting you
438. >whipping you
439. >How long have you been here?
440. >It's hard to tell when you can't see the sky
441. >Something's happening
442. >The big blue hunchbacked one
443. >Your captor, is coming
444. >Where he is, the other two are never far behind.
445. >They sniff the air and bee-line for you
446. >Fuck
447. >The big one's got something in his paws
448. >One of them holds your chain
449. >The big one shoves that thing over your head
450. >It's wooden, and heavy
451. >Baskets hang from its sides
452. >They stuff gems in one basket
453. >Bottles in the other
454. >and drag you by your chain
455.
456. >You are Trixie
457. >And for once in your life you are speechless
458. >Something has emerged from the cave
459. >It looks like...
460. >well it looks like nothing you've ever seen
461. >Walks on two legs
462. >covered in dirty tattered cloth
463. >It has a mane
464. >of a sort
465. >But no coat you can see
466. >Bearing a yoke with two full baskets
467. >And prodded along by...
468. >Fido was his name?
469. >Well the biggest of the three
470. >Whatever his name was
471. >They're heading your way
472. >Rover and Spot push through the crowd
473. >and genuflect at your hooves
474. >Tails stiff
475. >just the ends wagging
476. >They're excited
477. >trying to be subtle about it
478. >"Oh Trixie..." He begins
479. >Fuck that!
480. >"AHEM!"
481. >A pause
482. >"Oh Great and Powerful Trixie!"
483. >"You may continue."
484. >"Thank you for saving us"
485. >"Look, look!" The other one adds
486. >"Our servant brings you treats!"
487. >"Gems, and Cider, and Gryphon ale too!"
488. >So it's their servant?
489. >Why anything would serve the Diamond Dogs
490. >Is beyond even the Great and Powerful Trixie's ken
491. >It's closer now
492. >back bent under it's burden
493. >Wait a moment
494. >What's that on it's... limbs?
495. >Chains?

504. >Now chilled to the bone
505. >Chains?
506. >Memories rise
507. >They always do
508. >But never so soon after a show
509. >An amulet
510. >Incredible power in your veins
511. >An even more incredible cruelty in your heart
512. >Watching through your own eyes
513. >Somehow not really comprehending
514. >as you do things
515. >Things you still can't believe you would have
516. >But you did

533. >The thing behind you pokes
534. >forcing you to go where it wants
535. >Your eyes are starting to adjust
536. >You're heading toward a large group of brutes
537. >clustered around a stage
538. >There seems to be a blue pony sitting on it
539. >A blue pony
540. >with a white mane
541. >And a robe and wizard hat
542. >Maybe you have been in the dark too long
543.
544. >You are Trixie
545. >And it doesn't look like an animal
546. >As soon as it arrives

549. >You aren't laughing
550. >Neither is it
551. >Such a weird face
552. >but you can read it as clearly as anypony's

1113. >You are Trixie.
1114. >A couple of days further down the road.
1115. >And you aren't a happy pony.
1116. >It turns out Anon isn't as strong as you thought.
1117. >he's taller than you,
1118. >So he looks imposing.
1119. >But a few hours in to the first day back on the road,
1120. >and you could see it wasn't going to work.
1121. >He was hitched properly
1122. >and he really did try.
1123. >But he was slow,
1124. >even on flat ground.
1125. >Trips at Anon-speed would take too long.
1126. >And the first hill you came to...
1127. >He tried that too, but slipped.
1128. >You'd had to use magic to keep from careening backwards.
1129. >How were you supposed to relax, or study, or do anything,
1130. >when you might have to leap to the rescue at any moment?
1131. >That put an end to that.
1132. >Humans, it seems, just aren't as strong as equines.
1133. >So you, the Great and Powerful Trixie,
1134. >are pulling your own wagon.
1135. >While your putative servant strolls beside you.
1136. >Again.
1137. >You are not a happy pony.
1138. >Even if he does smell good.

1143. >You are Anon.
1144. >And you can see that Trixie is frustrated.
1145. >She's been snippier than usual.
1146. >And quieter when you've stopped.
1147. >You want to help her,
1148. >and you think you know a way.
1149. >"We're stopping here, Anon."
1150. >"All right, Great and Powerful one. Let me help you."
1151. >You walk over and begin unhitching her.
1152. >"The Great and Powerful Trixie doesn't need your help, Anon."
1153. >You pause.
1154. >She practically spat it,
1155. >and hadn't referred to herself in the third person for a while.
1156. >The buckles flared pink, and dropped to the road.
1157. >"Pull it off to the side, Anon."
1158. >"There's a stream beyond those trees."
1159. >Her snout gestured to the left.
1160. >"Get some water and start dinner."
1161. >She disappears in to her Wagon.
1162. >You did as you were told.
1163. >A knock on her door.
1164. >"Dinner is ready, Great and Powerful One."
1165. >She emerges,
1166. >walks to the fire,
1167. >and begins to eat.
1168. >You watch her take one glum bite after another.
1169. >"Great and Powerful One," you began
1170. >"I can tell you're upset."
1171. >"I want to do something for you."
1172. >"Like what?"
1173. >"You can't pull the vardo, you can't work magic, and you can't eat hay."
1174. >"I'm stuck feeding you oats."
1175. >Then in a small voice, barely audible:
1176. >"I want the oats."
1177. >She pouts in to the flames.

1183. >"Something humans do for each other,"
1184. >"when we... when we care."
1185. >She looks up at you
1186. >"You're always pulling the cart,"
1187. >You say, sitting at her hooves.
1188. >"And I think you must be sore."
1189. >She watches you reach out,
1190. >and cup her pastern;
1191. >gently lifting it and setting it in your lap.
1192. >She's stopped chewing,
1193. >now silently looking you in the eyes.
1194. >You rest your hand on her cannon
1195. >"I'm not being too familiar, am I?"
1196. >silence
1197. >Gently you begin to stroke along it's length.
1198. >Lightly at first,
1199. >then with gentle pressure.
1200. >Following the grain of her fur.
1201. >It's extremely soft,
1202. >and very fine.
1203. >She's chewing again,
1204. >Not so gloomily as before.
1205. >Under her leg and up to her hock;
1206. >pinching your way down to her fetlock.
1207. >You do it again.
1208. >And again.
1209. >She's staring at the fire,
1210. >very intently.
1211. >An uncertain look on her face.
1212. >Back to her pastern;
1213. >caressing her coronet:
1214. >Lightly running your fingertips between hoof and fur.
1215. >Then work from hock to coronet again.
1216. >You glance up; her eyes are closed.
1217. >A quiet sigh
1218. >You continue along her hoof wall,
1219. >to her heel.
1220. >Massaging her frog;
1221. >Pressing and rolling in little circles.
1222. >She winces and melts.
1223. >You must be doing well.
1224. >Up and down, from hock to hoof,
1225. >Over and over.
1226. >Feeling her tension drain,
1227. >and body loosen with each pass.
1228. >Kneading her hooves,
1229. >with strength, and with great care.
1230. >On and on.
1231. >First one, then the other.
1232. >firm muscle, soft blue fur,
1233. >and a unicorn who's lost in the moment.
1234. >...
1235. >She hasn't moved or made a sound in some time.
1236. >Her breath is deep and rhythmic.
1237. >You can't help but smile,
1238. >placing her hooves back on the ground.
1239. >You gently brush an errant strand of mane from her face,
1240. >And cover her with your blanket.
1241. >Softly: "Good night Trixie."
1242. >You clean up,
1243. >and lay down a short distance away.
1244. >The night is clear.
1245. >The fire is warm.
1246. >As it fades you drift off,

1253. >You are anon
1254. >And you're being followed.
1255. >This is your first time in a pony town.
1256. >Ever since Trixie's show,
1257. >you've had a handful of ponies around.
1258. >They'd watch you from their windows.
1259. >They'd watch from the streets.
1260. >They'd even watch from the sky.
1261. >You thought at first the clouds were chasing you too.
1262. >Until you saw pegai peeking over the edges.
1263. >Her show was, of course fantastic.
1264. >She made what little you'd seen at the Diamond Dogs cave
1265. >seem like parlor tricks.
1266. >"It's for the ponies" she'd said in private.
1267. >"They can use magic too"
1268. >"so I have to pull out all the stops"
1269. >But even so, you were a distraction.
1270. >The ponies just couldn't focus on Trixie
1271. >with you there.
1272. >After the show, she seemed a little put-off.
1273. >Then, an idea must have struck,
1274. >because she immediately took a bag of bits,
1275. >and told you to follow.
1276. >So you found yourself being led through the streets
1277. >by a gorgeous blue unicorn
1278. >with a half-dozen others trotting along behind you.
1279. >Trixie'd been much more relaxed lately.
1280. >She smiled.
1281. >Genuine smiles,
1282. >no longer putting up a facade when you were in private.
1283. >In fact, she had stopped referring to herself in the third person.
1284. >Until you came to town.
1285. >The difference was amazing.
1286. >But you were in public now.
1287. >Surrounded by equines of all colors and descriptions.
1288. >She had an image to maintain.
1289. >So, her demeanor came as no surprise when she said:
1290. >"We're here, Anon."
1291. >"Open the door for the Great and Powerful Trixie!"
1292. >Then shouldered her way past
1293. >with an annoyed little squeak
1294. >and her snout in the air.
1295. >"Anon, you will turn the lock, and take a seat."
1296. >"The Great and Powerful Trixie will return momentarily."
1297. >And with that, she vanished down a hall.

1305. >You take stock of your surroundings:
1306. >You are sitting in one of a pair of huge plush couches.
1307. >Across from you, an ornate wooden counter.
1308. >The hall down which Trixie vanished behind it.
1309. >Short, but very wide windows in the walls just below the ceiling.
1310. >A large door to the outside on your right,
1311. >with many nosy ponies peering through the glass.
1312. >The walls: lined alternately with full-length mirrors
1313. >and equine dress-forms,
1314. >adorned in the most ornate clothing you'd ever seen!
1315. >A tailor's shop.
1316. >And a high-end one by the looks of it.
1317. >Why would she have brought you here?
1318. >"Anon!"
1319. >Speak of the Blueberry.
1320. >"Stand up!"
1321. >She trots in to the room, another pony in tow.
1322. >"Come here, Anon. The Great and Powerful Trixie has need of you."
1323. >You stop a step away from her.
1324. >"Do you think you can do it?"
1325. >She's speaking to the other pony.
1326. >This one's wearing fancy clothes,
1327. >with her mane in elaborate coifs and curls.
1328. >She's even wearing make-up.
1329. >"Maybe, great and Powerful one."
1330. >"I need to get a better look."
1331. >"Very well. Anon, strip."
1332. >You look back at the door.
1333. >Anxious faces still pressed against the glass.
1334. >They follow your gaze.
1335. >Trixie's horn glows and a shade drops.
1336. >"He's easily embarrassed, the silly thing."
1337. >Trixie replies to the other mares quizzical expression.
1338. >"Now don't make Trixie repeat herself!"
1339. >Well they are ponies...
1340. >You disrobe in front of them
1341. >and stand tall.
1342. >"Nicely done, anon." she says with a mischievous grin.
1343. >"That wasn't so bad, was it?"
1344. >"Better than the alternative, Great and Powerful One."
1345. >"For you."
1346. >Your eyes lock; her mirth is unmistakable.
1347. >Cheeky little blueberry.
1348. >The other pony doesn't seem to care.
1349. >Trotting around and around you
1350. >then back to check your garments.
1351. >Making notes on a piece of paper,
1352. >measuring you,
1353. >scribbling again.

1367. >Her memory must be incredible.
1368. >She had obviously been in a good mood,
1369. >and even treated you to a restaurant.
1370. >She'd said it was a favorite of Pegai
1371. >And that she'd chosen it for one reason:
1372. >It served fish!
1373. >And vegetables.
1374. >Who knew how delicious they could be after so long on oatmeal?
1375. >She also paid you.
1376. >Minus expenses, of course.
1377. >But that still left you with some bits in your pockets.
1378. >Near the end of the scheduled day
1379. >You had returned to the store and found an outfit waiting for you.
1380. >And what an outfit!
1381. >Based on what you'd worn,
1382. >but embellished beyond belief:
1383. >rhinestones, and showy fabric,
1384. >with enormous liberties taken with the cut.
1385. >It looked ridiculous, but fit suprisingly well,
1386. >So Trixie had you carry it out, wrapped in brown paper.
1387. >It seems Trixie had noticed how much attention you garnered.
1388. >And being the keen business-pony she was,
1389. >decided to capitalize on it.
1390. >You were to join her show.
1391. >Whether you liked it, or not.
1392. >All in all it had been a very nice day.

1427. >But it did make you feel stronger.
1428. >No longer at their mercy.
1429. >You didn't need anypony!

1582. >You are anon.
1583. >Squatting by the fire, preparing lunch.
1584. >Your arrogant, demanding,
1585. >wonderful boss is lying under a tree.
1586. >Clacking beads on an abacus and scratching in a notebook.
1587. >A shadow passes overhead.
1588. >A pagasus.
1589. >You had seen many around.
1590. >Especially in this part of Equestria.
1591. >There were more pagai here than any other kind of pony.
1592. >But this one was different.
1593. >He wore gold armor.
1594. >His mane and tail: blue.
1595. >Cropped and pushed through his helmet.
1596. >Redolent of a Roman soldier's comb on Earth.
1597. >He circled, and flew overhead again.
1598. >Much closer this time,
1599. >and landed a few paces away.
1600. >Trixie noticed him then.
1601. >She stood, watching impassively.
1602. >Upon seeing her, the pegasus spoke.
1603. >"Are you Trixie Lulamoon? Magus of the Road, and Guardian of Anon?"
1604. >"I am." She replies in an equally haughty voice.
1605. >"What brings a royal guard"
1606. >"to search out the Great and Powerful Trixie?"
1607. >He produces a scroll from his saddlebags,
1608. >and lays it at her hooves.
1609. >"Their Royal Highnesses, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna,"
1610. >"have heard of your magnificence!"
1611. >"They wish to see your performance, and meet your pet!"
1612. >"You are hereby summoned to appear in the royal court,"
1613. >"no later than the end of summer. You are invited to stay,
1614. >"as a guest of Their Royal Highnesses in the castle,"
1615. >"and enjoy their hospitality. How do you answer?"
1616. >She pauses a moment,
1617. >raises the scroll with her magic,
1618. >and reads.
1619. >If you didn't know her like you did,
1620. >You might believe her nonchalance.
1621. >But you do,
1622. >and her excitement is clear.
1623. >With a smirk, and toss of her mane, she says:
1624. >"You may tell Their Royal Highnesses,"
1625. >"That The Great and Powerful Trixie,"
1626. >"Magus of the Road, and Guardian of Anon,"
1627. >"accepts their invitation."
1628. >"She will make all due haste toward Canterlot."
1629. >The pagasus bows and takes to the sky.
1630. >Trixie watches him go, snout raised.
1631. >Then suddenly prances circles on tippy-hooves
1632. >swishing her tail and arching her back.
1633. >"Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!Yes!"

1638. >You are Anon
1639. >marching beside your vardo.
1640. >Well Trixie's vardo.
1641. >But you can't help but think of it as yours too.
1642. >Your relationship has blossomed.
1643. >You work together, travel together
1644. >eat together and share the same bed every night.
1645. >And she's a real cuddlebug.
1646. >Always finding excuses to touch you while you work.
1647. >She particularly enjoys leaning against you,
1648. >and uses your lap as a pillow for her naps.
1649. >Many pleasant hours had passed under trees,
1650. >watching your little pony dream her dreams.
1651. >Herd animals are prone to physical contact,
1652. >but this didn't feel casual.
1653. >And you loved every moment of it.
1654. >On this particular morning,
1655. >she had put on her costume, chattering incessantly,
1656. >Excited and nervous.
1657. >Saying today was the day you'd reach Canterlot.
1658. >You had seen the castle from far away,
1659. >sprouting from a cliff in defiance of all prudence.
1660. >But now you drew close,
1661. >so with a little nuzzle of your arm,
1662. >she put on her archetype.
1663. >Tail and nose high,
1664. >eyes: bright and imperious.
1665. >Pride oozing from beneath her wide brim.
1666. >"We are nearly there Anon."
1667. >"As we have come by Royal Invite,"
1668. >"doubtlessly they will be on the lookout for us."
1669. >"In fact, Trixie wouldn't be surprised if they already know we're here."
1670. >It turns out, she was right.
1671. >Moments later 6 guard ponies in sparkling armor approached.
1672. >The captain bowed.
1673. >"Lady Trixie"
1674. >"by order of Their Royal Highnesses, we bid you welcome."
1675. >"Please allow us to escort you to the Royal Palace."
1676. >"Yes Captain, The Great and Powerful Trixie accepts your welcome"
1677. >"and bids you lead on."
1678. >4 took position in front.
1679. >Another behind you, buckled himself to your wagon.
1680. >You had a retinue!
1681. >The captain bowed again
1682. >"At your convenience, Lady Trixie."
1683. >She looks at you.
1684. >Her smile is as smug as you'd ever seen.
1685. >But this time she isn't smiling at you,
1686. >she's smiling with you.
1687. >Enjoying the moment, and inviting you to do the same.
1688. >Your smile meets hers,
1689. >and with pomp barely concealing glee,
1690. >she marches forth.

1695. >You are Trixie
1696. >Strutting over the drawbridge and through the gate.
1697. >Guard ponies bow as you pass
1698. >Acknowledgement, admiration, and respect:
1699. >everything you've ever wanted
1700. >made all the sweeter because Anon is here to share it!
1701. >All ponies watch as you pass by.
1702. >Probably wondering who's so important as to get a Royal escort.
1703. >As if there was anyone more deserving!
1704. >Well, maybe one...
1705. >as deserving, anyway.
1706. >You look at anon.
1707. >He's watching you!
1708. >All the grandeur, all the wonder of Canterlot
1709. >and he's watching you!
1710. >Of course you deserve it,
1711. >but still...
1712. >His smile rivals the sun
1713. >But can't compare to the blaze in your heart.
1714. >Could this day get any better?
1715. >You close your eyes and savor the feeling.
1716. >Anon
1717. >You
1718. >Together
1719. >Shit!
1720. >The hoi polloi can't see you like this!
1721. >You force yourself to look away
1722. >and notice other ponies in the crowd.
1723. >Watching you and watching him.
1724. >And who is that?
1725. >Fleur Dis Lee!
1726. >Very clearly watching him, not you.
1727. >He's noticed too.
1728. >A smile and that weird "hand-wave" thing he does.
1729. >She turns as you pass
1730. >gives him a wink
with her eyes
1731. >and prances off.
1732. >Why do you feel like this?
1733. >He does that to all the ponies when you enter a new town.
1734. >Smiling and flailing those "arms" around like the silly thing he is.
1735. >Why do you feel like this?
1736. >Suddenly, your facade is no act;
1737. >genuine anger burns inside you.
1738. >You never told anyone,
1739. >but you're a monogamist.
1740. >It's your dirty little secret.
1741. >You don't like to share.
1742. >Are humans monogamous?
1743. >You don't know.
1744. >You should tell Anon.
1745. >He must know, it's not fair to keep it a secret if you love him.
1746. >And you do.
1747. >Beyond any shadow of a doubt.
1748. >He's not a pony, so maybe he won't be angry.
1749. >He might not...
1750. >reject...
1751. >No, no, not again!
1752. >It's been so long!
1753. >Sadness.
1754. >Anger!
1755. >You focus on it and let it focus you.
1756. >All the ponies "great" and small make way for you.
1757. >They had damn well better!
1758. >All the way to the castle.

1764. >And Trixie is very, very angry.
1765. >Not at you, thank goodness,
1766. >but you can see right through her fauxequanimity.
1767. >Not that she pretended out there.
1768. >Her eyes had hardened and her stride lengthened unexpectedly.
1769. >You had been pressed to keep up,
1770. >until she noticed you lagging and slowed.
1771. >Once you reached the castle you had been shown to your chambers.
1772. >The guards said you would be summoned a little after sunset.
1773. >Until then, you had the run of the place.
1774. >The doors close and her demeanor changes.
1775. >Like flipping a switch.
1776. >"Trixie, what's wrong?"
1777. >She looks at you.
1778. >Calculatingly.
1779. >Trying to decide how much to say.
1780. >Then she smiles.
1781. >It doesn't reach her eyes.
1782. >"I'm thinking about meeting the princesses."
1783. >Like hell, but it's best not to pry when she's like this.
1784. >"There're only a few hours until sunset."
1785. >"We should bathe, and make ourselves presentable."
1786.
1787. >You are Trixie
1788. >lying on a massage table in the Royal Spa.
1789. >The masseuse was good, but not as good as Anon.
1790. >Fingers really were better than hooves at this.
1791. >It's just as well;
1792. >you can't focus on it anyway.
1793. >Images of Fleur's smirking wink dance in your mind.
1794. >What if she asked him to herd with her?
1795. >No, she wouldn't do that.
1796. >She might try to use him as a cooler, though.
1797. >He was famous, and exotic, and new.
1798. >Just the kind of thing Fleur would want as an accessory.
1799. >And you don't like to share.
1800. >Suddenly, behind your closed eyes:
1801. >Anon rutting Fleur.
1802. >Sucking her horn.
1803. >You grimmace,
1804. >the masseuse's touch lightens.
1805. >You love him.
1806. >You love him,
1807. >By Celestia you love him.
1808. >And now that you know, you have to say something.
1809. >You may be a monogamist,
1810. >but that didn't mean you were heartless.
1811. >Despite what some ponies would say.
1812. >You want him to love you too.
1813. >And how can he love you, if he doesn't know you?
1814. >He'll probably leave after he finds out what a freak you are.
1815. >But you need this show.
1816. >You'll tell him after.
1817. >Tears well up unbidden,
1818. >But they are small, and easily hidden.

1827. >"Celestia is the white pony, the other is Luna, her sister."
1828. >"They're bigger th..."
1829. >"Shhh." She chided.
1830. >"Remember what I told you? About our sun and moon?"
1831. >You nod
1832. >This you had to see.
1833. >She leans against you and whispers
1834. >"Watch."
1835. >The larger one's horn glowed brighter than any you'd seen.
1836. >And the sun dipped.
1837. >"That's impossible!"
1838. >"I told you so. Keep watching."
1839. >After the sun sank below the horizon, it was the other pony's turn.
1840. >Her horn flared and the moon rose.
1841. >"But..."
1842. >She smirked and nipped your arm
1843. >"Now what did the Great and Powerful Trixie tell you?"
1844. >"But..."
1845. >"Even if they did move it, we wouldn't see it had moved for... a few minutes!"
1846. >"That doesn't make any sense Anon."
1847. >"But..."
1848. >"Magic."
1849. >"But..."
1850. >"Magic."
1851. >What else could it be?
1852. >"Magic." you finally agree.
1853.
1854. >You are Anon,

1858. >She hasn't left your side since your bath.
1859. >After watching the day change to night
1860. >She pillowed her head on your lap and talked.
1861. >You could tell something was off, but she wouldn't say what.
1862. >Eventually the guards came, and she switched personalities again.
1863. >But she still wouldn't leave your side.
1864. >It was actually frightening.
1865. >Were the princesses tyrants?
1866. >They didn't *look* all that bad,
1867. >but looks could be deceiving.
1868. >And there was no shortage of rumors about Luna.

1876. >You are anon.
1877. >The doors opened on a fairytale room.
1878. >Banners, stained glass, tall as the sky itself.
1879. >Polished marble floors, red carpet,
1880. >and a throne against the far wall.
1881. >Both princesses waiting for you.
1882. >Trixie took the lead.
1883. >You followed, stopping when she did, bowing when she did,
1884. >and let her do the talking.
1885. >It seems your little pony had some history with the princesses:
1886. >a former pupil at the royal school.
1887. >Celestia seemed happy things turned out well for her.
1888. >They also wanted to know everything about you.
1889. >Who you were, where you came from, how you had arrived.
1890. >They were surprisingly unconcerned you didn't know,
1891. >but were angry to learn how you'd met.
1892. >She promised to correct the Diamond Dogs.
1893. >Princess Celestia was vague about what she meant, but
1894. >she moves stars, united Equestria and held power for over a millennium.
1895. >The thought of her true might,
1896. >and what she could do if she chose made you shudder.
1897. >The sisters set a date for the show:
1898. >one week hence!
1899. >Then dismissed you.
1900. >A long time to wait,
1901. >not long to practice.
1902. >It didn't help that Trixie was distracted.
1903. >She hid it well; you doubt any of the ponies picked up on it.
1904. >But you knew her, and it hurt she wouldn't confide in you.
1905. >Especially when was so much needier than usual.
1906. >She never left you alone.
1907. >Once, when you were out, you passed a flower cart.
1908. >Trixie lingered a moment and asked:
1909. >"Isn't that blue one pretty?"
1910. >The florist's eyes widened, and gave you both a funny look.
1911. >It really was a pretty flower.
1912. >The same powder blue as Trixie's coat.
1913. >You were about to say so when she laughed
1914. >nervously
1915. >and trotted on.
1916. >Flower pony watched you go, looking a bit shocked.
1917. >But the week did pass.
1918. >Now here you are sitting backstage,
1919. >about to give the show of your life.
1920. >Trixie nuzzles behind your ear
1921. >"Whatever happens after this Anon, this is our show tonight."
1922. >Another nuzzle, and more leaning.
1923. >"Forever and always, yours and mine."

1934. >Mingling with the haut monde,
1935. >with attention and admiration from the Princesses themselves!
1936. >Of course you always knew it was your due,
1937. >but now the other ponies couldn't deny it!
1938. >Then she had come.
1939. >Stepping from the woodwork,
1940. >like a stupid, gangly, pink-haired termite!
1941. >Actually leaning against your stallion!
1942. >Nuzzling him!
1943. >In front of everyone!
1944. >You're the lead mare in your herd.
1945. >The only mare.
1946. >True, you and Anon weren't officially a herd.
1947. >You'd never given him a flower, after all.
1948. >But she doesn't know that.
1949. >How dare she not come to you for permission to court Anon!
1950. >Not that you would have given it.
1951. >Of course you didn't let it show.
1952. >You are the Great and Powerful Trixie!
1953. >You master your feelings, not the other way around.
1954. >But it hurt.
1955. >A lot.
1956. >So when the princesses retired,

1958. >guided him away with your touch,
1959. >and returned to your chambers straight away.
1960. >Making *damn* sure she saw it.
1961. >All but laughing at the look on her face when Anon told her "goodnight,"

2000. >But love, true love, demands honesty,
2001. >and just maybe,

2044. >"Please, please don't ever leave me."
2045. >You kiss away her tears, and hold her close.
2046. >"I never will."
2047.
2048. >And they lived a life of love.
2049.

2069. Some people asked that I write a lewd scene for these two. It seemed like fun, but didn't fit anywhere in the story, so, here it is, after the end. Think of it as a "deleted scene", and not part of the tale. I hope you enjoy it, too.
2070.
2071. >You are anon.
2072. >Cuddling with your special somepony by the fire.
2073. >The sky, clear and cold above.
2074. >It's spring and you and Trixie are back on the road.
2075. >She's been acting funny lately.
2076. >Very touchy.
2077. >Very friendly with you,
2078. >very snippy with everypony else.
2079. >She wants massages every night,
2080. >so, when she kissed you, and asked for one,
2081. >you thought nothing of it.
2082. >She hopped up on the wagon-ledge,
2083. >"So you're at the just the right level" she'd said.
2084. >And set her left hind leg on your shoulder.
2085. >you tilt your head and kiss the inside of her hock.
2086. >Gently taking her leg in your hands and holding it up, off your shoulder,
2087. >then kissing your way down her cannon.
2088. >Stopping at her fetlock you look sideways;
2089. >She's watching you, a smug little smile playing on her lips.
2090. >"Keep going Anonymous. Trixie did not say to stop."
2091. >You lean back against a stone and set her hoof on your chest.
2092. >Your fingertips follow the curve of her leg,
2093. >up and down it's length,
2094. >as your tongue finds her coronet.
2095. >Kisses follow, and her eyes close.
2096. >You gently reach to her thigh,
2097. >kneading the firm muscle between fingers and thumb.
2098. >Then pinching gently from hock to fetlock,
2099. >and down to her hoof.
2100. >Pressing under it with your thumbs,
2101. >her frog flexing beneath your touch.
2102. >"Mmmmmm Anon."
2103. >She raises her other leg and rests it on your shoulder too.
2104. >You look up;
2105. >she's leaned back on the wagon's ledge,
2106. >forehooves extended and touching the overhang,
2107. >eyes closed.
2108.
2109. >"Anon, do your mares have any special times?"
2110. >"What do you mean, Tixie?"
2111. >She smiles and stares right in your eyes.
2112. >"Heat, Anon. Do human mares go in to heat?"
2113. >She leans down, mouth open just a bit, and sniffs you.
2114. >"Not really, Great and Sexy Trixie"
2115. >She smiles and bites her lip.
2116. >"We do."
2117. >She trails her forehoof along your arm
2118. >"In fact..."
2119. >little circles against your chest
2120. >"I am right now."
2121. >"You're my very special somepony, Anon,"
2122. >"and you're also my servant, little human."
2123. >"Do you know what that means?"
2124. >You think so
2125. >You *hope* so
2126. >You tilt your face to kiss her
2127. >She pulls back at the last moment with another smile
2128. >"Kisses are nice, Anon,"
2129. >"but I want to do something else."
2130. >She slides her hind legs from your shoulders and leans further in.
2131. >Sitting on the wagon, legs spread, her marehood just at eye level.
2132. >She nuzzles you, nips your ear and whispers:
2133. >"Touch my horn."
2134. >Trixie takes your hands in her hooves,
2135. >guides them to her face.
2136. >"The base first, sweety. Use those soft little fingers."
2137. >She gasps a little as you trace circles around it
2138. >A strange feeling on the side of your face,
2139. >like static electricity.
2140. >She leans against you more firmly as her breath deepens.
2141. >"Mmmmmmmm good boy."
2142. >She rubs your back
2143. >"Now...Oh!"
2144. >Her words catch in her throat.
2145. >You knew what she wanted, and began to stroke before she finished her sentence.
2146. >Her breathing grows faster and deeper,
2147. >and her horn glows brighter, its light reflecting off the wagon.
2148. >"Suck my horn, Anon."
2149. >"Do it now!"
2150.
2151. >Your mouth opens, and you carefully guide her past your lips,
2152. >and close them around her tip, sliding along her shaft.
2153. >She actually tastes like blueberries.
2154. >And whipped cream.
2155. >While you suckle, her muzzle finds it's way to your crotch.
2156. >She nuzzles and licks at your pants,
2157. >little moans emerging now and then.
2158. >"Anon, your dick belongs to me."
2159. >"Give it to me. Now."
2160. >Your hand slides down her shaft, around the back of her ear,
2161. >curves along her jaw, and finally comes to your belt.
2162. >She licks and nibbles at your fingers as they work the fasteners.
2163. >Suddenly the blueberry and whipped cream flavor grows stronger,
2164. >Your trousers glow pink, and slide down your legs.
2165. >Trixie takes you eagerly inside her mouth.
2166. >Her nimble equine tongue turning circles and loops,
2167. >even able to wrap itself completely around you.
2168. >Your own ministrations flag as waves of pleasure wash over you.
2169. >But only for a moment:
2170. >There's no way you're letting your little pony do all the work!
2171. >Back down on her, pressing your own tongue against her horn.
2172. >Copying her own motions as closely as you can.
2173. >Little whinneys and moans escaping around your cock.
2174. >She lays her ears back and forces herself down
2175. >Taking you as deeply as she can
2176.
2177. >All the way in, and holding you there.
2178. >Her tongue emerging and licking between your legs
2179. >then back in and around your shaft again,
2180. >actually rubbing you inside her mouth.
2181. >You take her out and purse your lips against her horn
2182. >running your head up and down its length,
2183. >It's blazing now.
2184. >bright pink with little jets and sparks flying off now again.
2185. >The feeling of static is warm and contagious,
2186. >filling you with erotic energy.
2187. >"Anon! I..!"
2188. >You quickly pop her back in your mouth,
2189. >taking in as much as you can.
2190. >"Anon!"
2191. >An odd heat fills your mouth as she convulses and grunts in your lap.
2192. >A taste, overwhelmingly like blueberries, and whiped cream.
2193. >With a little extra.
2194. >In fact, it tastes just like...
2195. >"Oh, Anon, I'm sorry. Right in your mouth, you didn't deserve that!"
2196. >It's cute when she switches, you think to yourself.
2197. >You purse your lips tightly and slide her out,
2198. >letting your tongue find every crease in her spiral groove on the way.
2199. >"It's fine Trixie. In fact it tastes just like Poprocks."
2200. >"Blueberry and whipped cream Poprocks."
2201. >"What are Poprocks?"
2202. >"They're a kind of candy we have back on Earth."
2203. >She looks at you strangely and lets out a languid laugh.
2204. >"Somehow, I'm not surprised."
2205. >"But we're not finished, little servant."
2206.
2207. >She bites your hair and gently pulls you up in to the wagon.
2208. >Trixie rolls over on the floor,
2209. >sweeping the bedding up with her forelegs and pillows her head on it.
2210. >She looks back: ass up, tail raised, hips swaying and bites her lip.
2211. >"Make me whinney like a little filly, Anon."
2212. >You pounce on her, sliding your hands up her back.
2213. >Balling her mane in your fist and jerking.
2214. >She whinneys.
2215. >Fuck me right now, Anon! Prove you're worthy of me!"
2216. >You guide yourself inside her with your other hand.
2217. >She's... wet would be an understatement.
2218. >Sopping, would almost be enough to describe it.
2219. >You slide in with no resistance.
2220. >She moans loudly and her marehood convulses around you.
2221. >It grips you like a vice, but is too slick to hold.
2222. >Your thrusts slip in and out; balls deep, then just the tip.
2223. >Her ponut swollen and sensitive,
2224. >pressing against your stomach and drawing a fresh pony groan with each thrust.
2225. >Her flanks begin to quiver
2226. >She burries her face in the blankets
2227. >Her ponytang clenches and holds,
2228. >and she suddenly goes stiff and silent.
2229. >Collapsing moments later.
2230. >Time to get yours.
2231. >She's lying now flat on the bed, and you continue to ride her.
2232. >Thrusting into her, not bothering to pace yourself.
2233. >Letting the sensations wash over you.
2234. >Finally erupting inside her and crashing down to her flower-scented mane.
2235.
2236. >After some moments you both rise to clean yourselves.
2237. >Staring up in the cold night air, savoring your lingering pleasure.
2238. >She leans against you.
2239. >"Estrus lasts about a week, Anon."
2240. >"Just so you know."
2241. >Then she steps back in the wagon and begins straightening the bedding.
2242. >The stars shine down on you.
2243. >This is going to be one hell of a week.
