Milkshake with Ponk


                                            >"Hey Nonny?"

                                            "Hmm?"

                                            >You're seated at Sugarcube Corner with your jubilant marefriend known, among many other names, as Pinkie Pie

                                            >You make sure to drop by as often as you can to catch her on break, and you're currently taking turns sliding a huge milkshake back and forth across your table, sipping and chatting away

                                            >"If we were to, say, hypothetically make a herd, who would you want in it?

                                            "Pinkie, we've already talked about this..."

                                            >"That's why I said hypothetically!"

                                            >It's not that you were against the idea of herding, far from it

                                            >It's just that Pinkie...

                                            >She was the first real friend you made in this world

                                            >She always managed to cheer you up when you were down

                                            >She never laughs at you when you make a mistake, only with you

                                            >She broke down layers and layers of emotional barriers you'd put up

                                            >She reminded you that you could love and be loved

                                            >She's everything to you

                                            >You know that no one, her included, would look down on you for introducing another mare into the relationship, but the notion of giving your love to anyone but her makes you uncomfortable none the less

                                            >You break from your reverie when the shake touches your chin and see Pinkie's pouting face aimed right at you

                                            >"Pleeeeease, Nonny?"

                                            >She's giving you the eyes

                                            >Those ones

                                            >She KNOWS you can't resist them, but you know she reserves them only for when she really, REALLY wants something

                                            "Alright, alright, I'll... think about it. Hypothetically."

                                            >"Yay!"

                                            >You slide the shake back over, forgetting to even take your sip

                                            >"Let's say, any two of my friends that you would want."

                                            "Everyone's your friend, Pinkie."

                                            >"Exactly!"

                                            >All the same, this isn't the kind of thing you can just come up with an answer for so quickly


                                            >You mull it over while absentmindedly continuing your game of milkshake volley

                                            >Maybe her plan all along was distracting you so she could drink more of it

                                            "How about... Fluttershy and Rarity?"

                                            >She breaks into a giggling fit, "You really like colty mares, dontcha Nonny?"

                                            "...Maybe," you stutter out, feeling the mild heat of a blush start to creep onto your face, "so what if I do?"

                                            >"Hey, I don't blame ya, I can barely contain myself when I see my own cutie patootie in the mirror." she says with a wink.

                                            >This mare and her smug little perfect grin

                                            >"Buuuut, Flutters, Rarara, AJ and Dashie are all already herding together, so that's a no-go. At this point, I think the only reason they're trying to find a stallion is to try to convince themselves that they aren't just completely gay for each other."

                                            >Darn. Who else then, who else...

                                            >You know that Twilight has a thing with the Princesses too, so she's out

                                            >But, close to Twilight there's...

                                            "Hmm. What about Moondancer?"

                                            >"Ooh, I could totally see that, yeah. You two would nerd out about your animoos with eachother, and we could all cuddle together on the couch while we watch. Super comfy choice!"

                                            >The shake comes back to you, nearly empty

                                            "Alright. Now just one more."

                                            >Who else, who else...

                                            >You're cycling through every friend and acquaintance you can think of

                                            >"Come on Anon, one more, you can do it!"

                                            >She's really putting you on the spot here, the pressure is palpable

                                            >The fact that she's cheering you on while you're in thought isn't helping either

                                            >You swear you've never been so concentrated in your life.

                                            >After what feels like an eternity, it hits you

                                            "Coco Pommel!"

                                            >"Yes, you did it! Ooh, and she's like Fluttershy and Rarity combined. Super cute."

                                            >You... actually feel pretty satisfied after that.

                                            >And seeing Pinkie so happy with you, well,

                                            >Maybe you could give it a shot after all. Eventually.

                                            >But for now, you take a triumphant final sip of the shake, emptying the oversized glass

                                            >"I also heard she likes anal just as much as me, you know."

                                            >And there it goes, shooting right out your nose

                                            "PINKIE," you say, coughing and sputtering for air, "What, I- How? Why?!"
