>"RARITY, HELP ME!"
-
2.
>Rarity jolts awake, nearly ripping her sleep mask off and sits completely still in her bed, not believing what she just heard.
-
3.
>A blood-curdling call for help coming from outside the boutique.
-
4.
>It sounded like Sweetie Belle.
-
5.
>Her heart immediately begins to race wildly.
-
6.
>She sits up in her bed in silence, waiting, heart slamming against her ribs.
-
7.
>Then, outside, from the window "SOMEPONY HELP ME PLEASE!"
-
8.
>"Oh my Celestia, Sweeite!" Rarity yells as she trips over herself scrambling out of her bed and galloping towards the window.
-
9.
>She throws the shutters open and scans the landscape below.
-
10.
>No sounds, no movement, dead silence.
-
11.
>Darkness.
-
12.
>Reacting as fast as she could, she sprinted towards her bedroom door and flung it open.
-
13.
>"RARITY HELP ME!" is heard now clear as ever through the open window.
-
14.
>Never in her life has she ever heard screams so thick with terror, the kind only heard moments before a life is taken.
-
15.
>"BIG SIS IS COMING" Rarity screams back at the top of her lungs, through choked sobs, tears streaming down her face.
-
16.
>Rarity plunges down the darkened stairwell.
-
17.
>Another incoherent scream reverberated dully through the boutique walls.
-
18.
>"Oh my Celestia please be okay" Rarity reassures herself, stumbling down the stairs.
-
19.
>On the showroom floor, Rarity rushes to the show window to search for any sign of her little sister.
-
20.
>Silence.
-
21.
>Darkness.
-
22.
>She was too late.
-
23.
>Rarity darts for the front door and begins shakily undoing the locks.
-
24.
>"R-Rarity?"
-
25.
>Reflexively she nearly jumps out of her skin and turns to face the voice with no time to process.
-
26.
>There stands her little sister Sweetie Belle, at the bottom of the stairs, shaking and sobbing.
-
27.
>"Rarity..." Sweetie barely eeks out.
-
28.
>Confusion.
-
29.
>They stare at each other for what feels like eons.
-
30.
>Everything is swallowed in darkness, silence rings throughout the boutique, between exasperated gasps for air and sobs.
-
31.
>Until they hear it again.
-
32.
