                                            >Excuses Luster from an entire day of classes, not just one period

                                            >Either she'd deliver them as-is or learn a lot about magical codebreaking

                                            >Luster would learn her lesson one way or the other


                                            >Each letter was personalized

                                            "Dear Head Maid / Guard Captain / Construction Supervisor / etc."

                                            >Something like that

                                            "My protégé, Luster Dawn, has not been attending her required apprenticeship shadowing with you.

                                            No doubt she cooked up some story to tell you, if she saw you at all.

                                            I humbly ask that you give Miss Luster one fifth of the spanking she deserves.

                                            Yes, one fifth... you are not the only creature whom Luster has been shirking.

                                            If time or other factors preclude you from delivering this punishment, just send me a note so I can make up for it.

                                            Do not send it with Luster-- that filly has depleted my trust for the moment.

                                            If you have time, you may continue Luster's shadowing for the rest of the hour.

                                            If not, the apprenticeship will continue on the normal schedule we had arranged.
