                                            >You sit there dejected on the school bleachers. The cloudy sky above reflects how you feel.

You look at Starlight, who's looking back at you with hopeful eyes. Her mane getting soaked even though there's a folded umbrella sitting next to her.

                                            >You grit your teeth, tears welling up in your eyes,

                                            "I don't deserve it.. I said all those mean things about you. The way I am now, I'm totally irredeemable. I just can't see how anyone would forgive me for all the things I've-" She presses her hoof softly against your lips, tears welling up in her eyes too.

                                            >"Actually, I know exactly how you feel." And then it hits you there like a ton of bricks. All this time, you'd rejected Starlight for her past actions, thinking she didn't deserve redemption. When deep down you were the same way.

                                            "Y-you really forgive me Starlight?" You feel her soft pony forelegs wrap around you and she smiles,

                                            >"Of course." Then you hear the unfolding of the umbrella as it floats above you. Starlight speaks softly to you,

                                            >"You don't have to sit out here all alone in the rain feeling haunted by your past mistakes. I've been there all too often. And I know if there's one thing I would've wanted in that scenario, it'd be to be held, just like this." You sniffle crying out as you hold her in your arms.

                                            >"It's ok.. Anyhow, class is out, and I've got a dry office in the school we can dry off in. Come on, lets go inside."

                                            >You follow her inside the school through the halls of the friendship school. It's quiet and empty with the grey stormclouds visible through the windows outside. Your footsteps echo a bit off the walls.

                                            >"I don't think I have any towels in my office.. We might have to check the gym. You're ok with that right?"

                                            >You still feel stunned by everything.. The unicorn you hated the most, is now the only one in either world that gives a remote fuck about you. You and her cross through the halls and into the locker room. Looks like the guys locker room. She unlocks the office inside and goes in to retrieve a white towel off the wall with magic. She dries you off first with her magic. You feel the soft warm towel gently caress your body making you dry. She then uses the same towel to dry herself off. Then wrapping it around her shoulders letting it hang there. She asks with concern,

                                            "Sort of. Starlight.. I really appreciate you looking after me like this."

                                            >And then you realize you'll have to head home to your apartment after this. Its weird, but you really want to spend more time with Starlight. Thinking about it now, home is the last place you want to be. Starlight seems to pick up on your feelings somehow without you having said anything.

                                            >"If you want, I can look after you some more at my place.. I've got this leftover Pizza in the fridge. And it's so big I'm worried I won't be able to finish it all by myself. Maybe you could help me out with that?" She winks smiling at you cutely. You smile back.

                                            "Y-yeah, of course! Thanks Starlight.."

                                            >"Haha, don't mention it. Just trying to be there for a friend! I don't think I'd be qualified to teach at a friendship school if I couldn't do at least this much right?"

                                            >You walk through the rain with Starlight, she walks with the umbrella next to you. The sound of the raindrops smack at the umbrella with wild intensity making you glad that you aren't getting pelted by it yourself.

                                            >What's her deal anyways? You fail with all these mares and for some reason Starlight is the one out of all of them that likes you. It's time to find out why. She suddenly asks looking up at you,

                                            >"Do you prefer cold or hot pizza? I'm impartial to cold myself. I like to wait to eat most of it till after it's nice and cool."

You call it a house but the interior you might liken to a studio apartment with one big bedroom, and the only separation being the counter in the kitchen, and the door for the bathroom. She flicks on a lamp lighting up the dark grey with homey yellow light.

                                            >Inside is Starlights bed which has purple bedding. Next to it a desk with big stacks of paperwork. Some pens and papers on it. On the walls are a mirror with pictures of her friends. And mostly painted wood interior. Everything in the house is pony sized but the roof is large enough that you're not hunched over at any point.

                                            >Starlight announces.

                                            >"There's not much here.. But feel free to make yourself at home!"

                                            >You decide to sit on the bed, an easy decision considering there's not too many other places to sit. Starlight sits next to you on the bed. She sits upright like you do.

                                            "Nice little place you got here Starlight."

                                            >Starlight clicks the music on a cassette player that was on her desk and you hear the room fill up with some upbeat music.

                                            >"Figured it'd be less awkward with some music." She sits now upright. Hooves resting in her lap. Rocking back and forth a bit to the beat. Her eyes peaking over to you every other moment or so. You feel rather nervous here.. Did she.. Bring you back here for naughty stuff? Jesus Christ this mare is super lewd if that's the case.. But that can't be it right? She then speaks,

                                            >What is she expecting you to do here.. Maybe you should just go out and ask? She laughs again, and then leans on you.

                                            >You stroke your hand along her hair swoops and feel the silky smooth texture. Starlight giggles delightedly.

                                            >"How is it?"

                                            "It's very soft, softer than silk maybe."

                                            "Yeah.. Your mane is so pretty Starlight."
