Expiry: Never

  1. >Something cold touched your finger.
  2. >But you weren't really focused on that.
  3. >Your eyes were glued to a small rodent biting into a chunk of hamburger that it managed to drag out a nearby trash can.
  4. >"Rarity?"
  5. >A voice, which you ignored, spoke, imagining how this disgusting and dirty creature could get here, into this rather pristine mall.
  6. >They renovated recently and yet there was a rat problem.
  7. >"Rarity?"
  8. >The voice spoke again. This time louder, but it still was barely a whisper in a crowd.
  9. >You glared daggers at the rat, hoping it would just die so you won't have to worry about it.
  10. >"Rarity, your ice cream is melting."
  11. >This finally caught your attention and you looked to your left, facing Fluttershy.
  12. "I'm sorry darling, it appears I dozed off for a moment here, could you perhaps repeat what you said?" You said with a small smile.
  13. >"I said your ice cream is melting"
  14. >As she pointed to a cone in your hand you let out an audible "oh" and quickly licked the melted treat of your fingers, then quickly took a few licks of the mint and chocolate cone itself.
  15. >Satisfied with the temporary cleanliness of your fingers you gazed quickly at the place where the rat once was, finding emptiness in its stead.
  16. >Then you looked at Fluttershy again.
  17. "Thank you darling. But I'll probably have to wash my hands after it." You chuckled.
  18. >"What were you so focused on anyway?" She asked after a moment.
  19. >You knew Fluttershy well. She was one of if not the best friend you had and any mention, even a passing one, of you feeling some disgust towards an animal, no matter how dirty or disgusting, would truly annoy her.
  20. >You waved your arm dismissively.
  21. "Ah nothing Darling. Just some trash someone forgot to throw out. Or rather thrown to the ground on purpose." You said with disdain apparent in your voice.
  22. >"Oh. People can be so horrible sometimes." She shook her head.
  23. >You nodded.
  24. "That's very true." You said shortly before a weird chill has run down your spine.
  25. >A very strange and unpleasant feeling of being watched struck you.
  26. >You did your best to hide the shiver as you glanced around discreetly while taking a few more licks of your ice cream.
  27. >The air seemed to become heavier as the strange feeling crept back up your spine.
  28. >Though this time there was more to this bizarre feeling than just being watched.
  29. >You've never felt anything of the sort before, but your mind was screaming at you. Warning you about something.
  30. "I think it's time for us to go. I'll go grab Sweetie Belle and the crusaders real quick and we'll go somewhere else." You said and despite trying to sound calm and collected, it still sounded more like a harsh order than anything friendly.
  31. >You've heard Fluttershy murmur something before you quickly started walking towards the store the three were in.
  32. >You quickly finished your ice cream on the way there as well. Just to make sure to not make a mess.
  33.
  34. >Since you were usually glamorous and ostentatious, your little sister and her friends weren't ready for you suddenly appearing behind them.
  35. "Are you done girls?" You asked with a patient smile.
  36. >All of them jumped a bit seeing you behind them, with your arms resting on your hips.
  37. >They were picking up some rope and other scout supplies.
  38. >One would obviously expect them to be a part of Girl Scouts, but no. They are just naturally very into those strange games of theirs.
  39. >"Yeah. We just need to pay." Said Scootaloo grabbing a basket filled with supplies.
  40. >You nodded and pointed towards the cashier.
  41. >As the four of you started moving you heard a subtle squeaking before a large black bat flew towards your face.
  42. >In panic, mainly because of the strange worried feeling you had but also because bats had a tendency to get tangled in one's hair, you swatted it with your hand, throwing it away.
  43. >And thank God you did as the vermin bulged and suddenly exploded throwing shards of bone like shrapnel around.
  44. >You managed to grab the girls before pulling them behind the shelf, saving them from impact.
  45. >However a few pieces did hit you, causing you to yelp in pain and swear quickly.
  46. >"Sis!" Sweetie Belle tried to look at your back but you stopped her.
  47. "I'm fine. Don't worry. Now, let us move."
  48. >You ushered them up and ran out of the store making sure to check if no other rodents were nearby.
  49. >Fluttershy was still nearby, trying to find you in a crowd of people trying to escape.
  50. >As the four of you reached her, you grabbed her shoulders and told her to make sure the Kids were safe.
  51. >Now it was a matter of sneakily separating from the group. But with them quickly trying to leave with another group, you found your chance.
  52. >It was basically just a matter of hiding in one crowd to make sure they didn't notice.
  53. >You still made sure they left the building before turning on your heel and running back deeper into the building.
  54. >Quickly dodging the few remaining people as a silhouette appeared on your back.
  55. >At first it looked like a mannequin, dressed in an exquisite azure fabric shaped like a dress, which was held together with needles and pins.
  56. >The body however was more metal than plastic or wood and it had a "hair shaped" blue attachment to its head.
  57. >The jointed fingers were grasping many tiny needles and threads which were currently used to take out the bones out of the wounds as well as stitch them.
  58. >Bad Seamstress Blues, contrary to its name, wasn't a bad seamstress.
  59. >On the contrary, it was part of the reason why you were so good.
  60. >But despite your delicate nature and disposition, you had it in you to turn a sewing needle and the fabric cutting scissors into tools of battle.
  61. >Few snips caused you to acknowledge that the sewing was done and the wounds were now stitched.
  62. >Hopefully it won't leave scars. There were at least five designs you wanted to wear that included a revealed back.
  63.
  64. >The deeper into the mall you’ve ventured, the more of a sorry sight it was.
  65. >Pieces of flesh and bones were spread around, glass windows, now lying smashed on the ground, its sharp pieces threatening to cut anyone who’d trip and fall onto them.
  66. >Unconscious people and corpses soon became the main thing littering the ground.
  67. >You pressed on however, walking towards the center of the mall, with a big fountain.
  68. >That’s when you’ve heard the sound of something hitting stone and a squeaking of vermin.
  69. >When you came out of a corner, you noticed a strange man, standing in the middle of the now broken fountain with a sledge hammer, hitting the statue in the middle, clearly trying to break it apart.
  70. >Thousands of rats, bats, mice and other small critters were surrounding him.
  71. >He was dressed in what looked like old patchwerk fur, reaching down into his ankles.
  72. >His hair was dirty and it hanged loosely, covering his face which was weathered and covered with a large beard.
  73. >He looked and smelled like a homeless person. But now even rats seemed to follow him.
  74. >He turned his head with a wild eyed expression to look at you.
  75. >”Who goes?!” he yelled, turning fully towards you as you’ve noticed a small, metal made rat appear on his shoulder.
  76. >The rats seemed to look more like a wind up toy, with flesh made out of springs, cogs and cables, than a real creature.
  77. >But you felt it again. This strange feeling, like when you were eating ice cream merely a few moments ago.
  78. >”You! You have it too!” he pointed to the Bad Seamstress Blues which hovered nearby.
  79. >Then seemed to lean his head to the side to listen to something.
  80. >”Yes… I will…” he said shortly and looked at you again.
  81. >”I have no time to deal with you. So I’ll kill and take care of you…” he licked his lips with a lustful stare “later.”
  82. >With that, he grabbed the hammer again and started swinging at the statue again.
  83. >”「Living Weapon」 will be enough to take care of you.”
  84. >The swarm was the first to make a move.
  85. >A large group of rats started quickly advancing towards you.
  86. >And you’ve hated it already. Those disgusting vermin. But you couldn’t let this freak stay here, or even keep living, if he already almost killed your sister. And already did kill other people.
  87. >You pointed your fingers towards the rats and Bad Seamstress Blues moved to attack.
  88. >A single needle throw was enough to strike one of the rats, which did no damage to it, but as its body started to bulge and expand a series of strings shot out of it, hitting the rats nearby, from which in turn another series of strings shot out hitting other rats.
  89. >Soon enough the group was bonded together and you pulled your hand back sharply, mimicking a motion of pulling a needle out of fabric and the mass congealed, tying rats closely together, making a horrible mimicry of a Rat King.
  90. >Then you quickly jumped behind the corner as the mass exploded, spraying gore and viscera all around the place.
  91.
  92. >You tried to use it to your advantage but a bat flew right at you just as you walked out of the corner.
  93. >You tried to swat it away, but the explosion still happened as you did your best to cover your body.
  94. >It still left you with many wounds, which luckily weren’t enough of a threat to kill you but the pain still made you feel woozy.
  95. >You were no warrior, but you’d be damned if you let this ruffian live.
  96. >For now however, you started running.
  97. >It was time for some more creative approach.
  98. >Again, you were no warrior, but you could become one.
  99. >You looked down at your rather simple outfit. At least as simple as your outfits tended to be.
  100. >It was also fairly damaged now.
  101. >Multiple holes and blood stained your dress and there was pretty much no saving it.
  102. >Especially since it wasn’t the last of it, as a group of squirrels and bats were chasing you.
  103. >You weren’t sure if you could tie them together at that range, but you still threw a needle at one of the bats, binding it with few more bats in the process.
  104. >As the rodent's body started bulging and falling it fell on a group of squirrels, which caused a small chain reaction, making the swarm much smaller.
  105. >A good sign as it meant you could actually get rid of them quicker.
  106. >Few more exploded but were left behind by the chasing horde as you threw your needles at more bats.
  107. >Like tiny kamikaze planes, all but one fell onto the squirrel horde, getting rid of it.
  108. >The last bat simply got tied to the ceiling with tiny strings. Unaware of what was happening.
  109. >By the time you took care of the rodens you reached your destination.
  110. >You weren’t a biker chick, but the leather clothes would grant you just the style you hoped for.
  111. >You entered the store and grabbed a few pieces of clothing off the racks.
  112. >Two pairs of leather pants, two jackets, some black t-shirts and high boots.
  113. >Then you hid behind the counter and put the clothes in front of you.
  114. “Fallin’ Apart at The Seams!” With that, the seams of the clothes started slowly breaking as you replaced them with the ones produced by Bad Seamstress Blues.
  115. >You didn’t have time for a full blown makeover, but you managed to ruffle up your hair just a bit while the clothes started being stitched together to make a completely new set.
  116. >The main plan was creating something that would by default make you seem like a tougher person than you actually were.
  117. >Being a skilled Fashionist aside, your strange power allowed you to actually make clothes that actually empowered you.
  118. >As long as one could pull off the look of course.
  119. >And you could pull off any look.
  120. >You put the tight leather pants on before throwing off your dress and putting on a new shirt and the black biker jacket you made.
  121. >It wasn’t a full transformation, more like making clothes that would fit your frame out of the parts that you managed to grab, but now you looked like a full blown biker girl.
  122. >All that was missing now was a better fitting makeup. But you’ll have to work without it.
  123.
  124. >You left your hiding spot and as you started trying to mimic the confident strut that Sunset had back in her bully days, you felt a sudden surge of strength in you.
  125. >Not a physical strength, but more of a dominant aura that surrounded you as you walked back to the fountain.
  126. >The Tramp was still focused on breaking the statue but that was no issue now.
  127. >You cracked your knuckles and smiled at him smugly.
  128. >Battling your own instincts to keep from swearing, you had to act like a tough biker chick to keep the appearance up.
  129. >You stopped and rested one of your hands on your hip as you extended the other one to point at the man.
  130. >With that, Bad Seamstress Blues manifested, it’s previously Azure dress now replaced by a ragged leather outfit, with chains and spikes all over its opened jacket as part of your aura transferred to it.
  131. “I don’t think you quite get what will happen now. You pissed me off, so now I must grind your face into the ground bitch.”
  132. >The word itself made you feel much more dirty. You hated swearing, it was so uncouth.
  133. >The Tramp looked up at you and pointed his finger at you.
  134. >”I told you… I’ll use you later.” he hissed as the swarm seemed to turn towards you.
  135. >You managed to thin it out before, so now it was mainly a matter of getting through it.
  136. >And this time you would be on the offensive.
  137. >You started running towards the man, as the few remaining bats tried to fly towards you.
  138. >However, like before, few needles struck them, this time however, instead of trying to tie them together, pulled the creatures towards you and using, now much greater, power of Bad Seamstress Blues you launched the tied bats with a mighty punch towards the Tramp.
  139. >He recoiled seeing the bulging critters fly towards him as the creatures exploded, piercing his body in many places causing few of the remaining rats and mice to drop dead.
  140. >A lot of them still remained, but with air now cleared, you used the strings to attach yourself towards the wall and pulled yourself to it.
  141. >Swinging off it above the swarm, which, for good measure you also tried to tie together, causing a few more explosions.
  142. >Many people probably assumed your dislike of sport caused your condition to be on the bad side, but years of diets and training to keep your body in its pristine shape also caused you to be quite flexible and nimble.
  143. >Training ballet for a few years helped as well, as you elegantly landed in front of the homeless guy.
  144. >His smell hit you, but before he could try and swing his hammer a punch from Bad Seamstress Blues struck him causing him to fall to the floor.
  145. “The moment you almost hurt Sweetie Belle… that’s when you pissed off the wrong big Sister.” you said pointing at him, looking at him like he was the most disgusting piece of trash in the world.
  146.
  147.
  148. >Few pieces of spring shot out of the Tramp’s body causing him to be hoisted up towards the ceiling as you began a barrage of punches. Each followed by “Fa!” said in a melodic tone, similar to your own voice, yet somewhat distorted, coming out of Bad Seamstress.
  149. >With one last punch you turned around as the body of a tramp shot out a few remaining strings grabbing still alive rodents and pulled them towards him.
  150. >You left the fountain nonchalantly.
  151. “Absolutely Fabulous… darling.” you said with a smile as the rodents exploded one last time, leaving the Tramp tied to the ceiling, barely conscious.
  152. >You paid it no mind however as you started walking towards the exit.
  153. —-------------------
  154. >You quickly found Fluttershy in the crowd.
  155. >Despite her meek deposition, she was quite tall and stuck out like a sore thumb in a crowd, when you actually knew who you were looking for.
  156. “Oh, I was so worried about you girls!” you approached behind them, and gave the CMC and Fluttershy a surprise hug.
  157. >”Rarity! Where have you been?!” teary eyed Sweetie Belle wallowed.
  158. “I’m so sorry darling… I got pulled into another crowd and tried to find you girls for like twenty minutes.” you lied, but there was no Applejack nearby to call you out on it.
  159. >”Well… at least you’re safe…” said Fluttershy, returning the hug.
  160. >”Let’s just go home…” said Scootaloo tiredly.
  161. >You’ve noticed police entering the building.
  162. >It was such a nice mall… but now it will probably be closed for a few weeks.
  163. —-----------------
  164. >A strange, plainly looked man walked into the scene of a beating that took place merely a minute ago.
  165. >He looked at the homeless person hanging near the ceiling and shook his head as a tiny creature jumped off the homeless persons neck and landed on his.
  166. >”You were good enough.” said the man as he walked into the fountain and grabbed a long wooden box that was now revealed.
  167. >He opened it slowly and unwrapped the cloth that was hiding the contents within.
  168. >”Ahh… but now, I’m one step closer to resolution.” said the man, before closing the box and walking swiftly away.
