                                            Intro


                                            Humans are capable of anything.


                                            There seems to be no limit to what mankind can do when they put their minds to it. They can be an enigma even to themselves. So, when the Ponies the enchanted land of Equestria discovered them, they truly didn’t know what to expect. All they really knew is that they had discovered lonely souls crying out for help.


                                            The first ones to appear were something of a shock, strange in appearance and behavior, but things soon settled. There was something about the Humans that was enticing to Ponies. They seemed to be more complete together, something made whole that nopony had even known was missing. Humans spread through the land and those who were unhappy became content, and those who were content became happy.


                                            Who would have believed a fantasy world of magical talking ponies could get any better.


                                            Humans are capable of anything.


                                            The real shock came when these new Pony-Human couples found they could produce hybrid offspring. And not just Ponies, it seemed these new Humans could, and would, interbreed with all the Creatures of the world of Eqqus.


                                            But not all was well in this new world.


                                            It was sadly not the best and brightest of mankind that took the trip to Equestria. Those who would abandon their old lives most readily are the ones without connection to their fellow man, especially those who’s personal faults drive others away. This simmering misanthropy was inescapable, though ignored by their new Pony partners, the equines enamored as they were of having an exotic “stallion” of their own.


                                            It is not known for sure who struck first. Few records of the time survive. It could have been the Yaks to the north, or the Dragons to the south, or even the Ponies, themselves, but the Humans among them, and their hybrid offspring, began wars against each other, and the Creatures around them were dragged along into destruction with them.


                                            Wars raged for years. In time, the proud civilizations of Eqqus were laid low.


                                            It seemed impossible that Equestria, led as it was by the powerful, immortal Princesses, could have ever fallen, but fall it did. All at the hands of the Humans.


                                            Humans are capable of anything.
