-
>It's that time again already?
-
>A flash of lightning lights up the sky and the bolt punches the water of the lake in the woods like a hockey player on crystal meth.
-
>Had it been winter, it wouldn't be clear if the ice would melt first of shatter first.
-
>But the smart campers are the ones who run first.
-
>The ones who stand still like the trees around them will learn that machetes are like chainsaws.
-
>And lumberjacks don't usually wear masks unless they're concerned about blood splatter.
-
>As soon as the cabin lights go out, everyone can hear the breathing.
-
>A slow and low deadly violin joined by the drum beat of their racing hearts when they realize what's up.
-
>Getting out of bed to unlock the car doors will do much more good than locking the cabin doors.
-
>Here comes Jason once again.
-
>Like a fallen body, a large tree blocks the only road out, begging the terrified eyes in the drivers and passengers seats to follow suit.
-
>"Hang on, everyone!" Timber Spruce violently turns the steering wheel.
-
>He didn't sign up for this when he volunteered from two camps over.
-
>The red tail lights shine onto the silent demon in his own pocket of hell.
-
>Screams of those who see him beckon him forward; his steps only speed up when the jeep's headlights get closer after facing him.
-
>Taking no chances, Timber knows it's fell or be felled with this lumberjack on the other side of the smudgy windshield.
-
>The front grill dents like Jason was rooted to the ground.
-
>The roar of the engine itself is screaming in fear as those same tail lights now leave the slowly standing demon in darkness.
-
>An open field is the only thing flat enough that doesn't lead directly back into came where they'd be expected to go.
-
>"Did we kill him?" Lyra asks, still convinced she'll trip onto the ground somehow despite being buckled in.
-
>"We can't go off road here, the terrain will flip us over and there's to many bushes!" Bonbon holds her girl close.
-
>""Just hang on, I'll get us over to the dock!" Timber grunts while scanning the ground in the glow of the headlights for goalies blocking his way off the field. "I'm not playing this son of a bitch's game this time!"
-
>"Why the dock?!" Yells Bonbon.
-
>"I still have the boat keys in my pocket!" Explains Timber. "And I know someone who can kill this guy!"
-
>"Fucking WHO!? The loch ness monster? There's nothing but lake out there!" Shivers Lyra.
-
>"Relax, I got this!" Timber slows down over a rough patch of small knolls.
-
>"That was always a lie when your sister said that! Why would it be true when you say it!" Bonbon hold on for dear life as the back of the jeep nearly catapults her head onto the ceiling.
-
>"Twilight and her friends killed him before! They're on their yacht down the river this lake drains into."
-
>The jeep drunkenly stumbles over its tires against the uneven bumps of grass and dirt, nearly tipping over onto the sand peppered with small rocks.
-
>Silence fills the air as soon as the headlights shut off and the doors open.
-
>Light footsteps try not to break the silence as hands keep ahold of wrists for guidance.
-
>The gentle splashing of waves help those footsteps figure out where the small motorboat is.
-
>There's nowhere for Jason to easily hide on the small boat, and Lyra's phone flashlight confirms that he's not there while at the same time giving away everyone's position.
-
>"Now now now!" Bonbon climbs over the edge of the boat.
-
>Suddenly, a loud voice comes rolling over a hill like a blaring fanfare: "HOW DARE YOU LEAVE THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE TO DIE?!"
-
>"God damn it, that's why he got after us so fast! He was supposed to get her and buy us time..." Mutters Lyra as she dreads spending the next few hours on the small boat with Trixie's yapping as much as she dreads getting chopped up by Jason.
-
>Having just been thanking her stans in her sleep, Trixie's eyes are still well-adjusted to the dark as she runs.
-
>Seeing every blade of grass in grand detail while she huffs and hustles over to where she saw the phone light illuminate the side of the motorboat.
-
>The other three have meanwhile gotten into the boat already, with Timber turning the key that starts up the engine.
-
>"DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRIXIE!" The running girl does not tire.
-
>She looks to the side and sees the silhouette of Jason running after her, approaching from higher up on a hill.
-
>She runs faster in response as if she was racing him.
-
>The splatter from the blades in the back of the motorboat waves Trixie goodbye, but she's not about to let her blood splatter wave back just yet.
-
>"TIMBER! YOU FUCK!" Trixie takes a giant leap and soars through the air high enough to look like she's on the moon.
-
>She crash lands into the motorboat, making previously non-existent room for herself, throwing Timber off balance and sending him tumbling into the water.
-
>The motor continues to growl, slicing the water behind the vessel like skim milk in a blender to push it forward.
-
>"Bonbon!" Timber flails his arms around in the water. "Help, I can't find..."
-
>The three girls in the motorboat can hear where Timber's limbs flap around in the water, but they can't see anything.
-
>"Noo! Take her, not him!"" Bonbon frantically glances around into the darkness, referring to Trixie in exchange for Timber.
-
>Lyra meanwhile will simply have to accept this new development, helping Trixie steer the boat away from the shoreline.
-
>Timber's bloody hand sinks into the depths of the lake while the three girls' stomachs sink as they listen to his final screams.
-
>"Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit..." Trixie shudders while adrenaline charges through her veins past blood that is thankful to remain blue.
-
>Her face meanwhile is as snow-white as her knuckles clenching the steering handles.
-
>The mourning groan of the motorboat travels across the water.
-
>None of the three girls say a word.
-
>A least all of their eyes have adjusted to the darkness now, but still not enough to seek out the exit of the lake into the river it apparently drains into.
-
>As lost as a piranha out of its school, Jason swims through the waters he drowned in.
-
>In search of the motorboat more dedicatedly than the motorboat is in search of the exit to the lake.
-
>Much time goes by without anything happening, and Jason finally realizes that the motorboat must have already left the lake.
-
>He will find them again.
-
~
-
>"He said they were on a yacht." Bonbon rubs her eyes that have begun to adjust to the afternoon daylight.
-
>No mirror is needed for her to know there's bags under those eyes; sleeping in shifts is anything but fun.
-
>"The Great And Powerful Trixie did not need your help! She could have easily killed Jason Voorhees herself." Trixie crosses her arms and pouts at the water.
-
>Lyra gives her a great and powerful look of angry confusion. "You're acting like we made you come along now?!"
-
>"Trixie can handle herself. Nothing is any match for her."
-
>"You were so scared and desperate that you literally jumped onto the boat and knocked Timber off!"
-
>"He was useless anyway!"
-
>"Oh, fuck you, Trixie!"
-
>"Hmph, so grateful for Trixie's help, aren't you?"
-
>"What the fuck's your problem? Why are you like this? Is it a bit or something?" Lyra's eyes light up in rage as her fingers curl upwards over her open palms. "I swear I'm gonna kill you before Jason ever could!"
-
>Trixie gasps before she could answer. "THERE IT IS!" She points, nearly tipping the motorboat over from how quickly and forcefully she stood up.
-
>Lyra, Bonbon and Trixie lower the motorboat's tone in the presence of a much taller and larger vessel in the water.
-
>But raise their own when calling out to it, looking up to soon find heads peering back down at them.
-
>"Trixie? Is that you?" Starlight Glimmer grabs the metal railing and clings to it like she's about to ride a rollercoaster into the water.
-
>Trixie reciprocates the sentiment, wishing she could fall upwards into Starlight Glimmer's arms the same way.
-
>She'll have to embrace the lifebuoy for now as it spins towards her like a flying saucer.
-
>"Uh... Starlight?" Octavia steps across the wooden deck. "We have a ladder, you know..."
-
>The splash of Trixie diving into the water is the first thing that answers Octavia.
-
>With a frustrated groan, Octavia lowers to ladder for the other two girls in the small motorboat to climb up at least while Starlight and Trixie play ocean rescue together.
-
>---
-
>Trixie leaves water scattered all over the deck, making a wet floor sign needed without a single storm cloud needed.
-
>Doesn't stop thunder and lightning from radiating off of Lyra's enraged glare at the girl.
-
>"What do you mean Twilight and her friends aren't here?" BonBon asks in utter shock. "Isn't this the yacht they hang out on sometimes? Why is it out without them watching over it?"
-
>"They got me to watch over it." Responds Starlight. "They gave me a pendant that lets me use my powers from Equestria to help me keep everything safe while they're gone."
-
>"Well where are they off to?"
-
>"They just filmed a music video here. Finished doing a few little extra outtakes this morning then went to go through the portal. Actually, I don't think they're all the way done yet."
-
>"You mean we JUST missed them?"
-
>"Yeah. What happened this time?"
-
>"We need them to kill Jason Voorhees again." Reveals Bonbon.
-
>"Vinyl and I just finished mixing and mastering the audio of a scene with Rainbow Dash playing her guitar inside one of the rooms." Octavia adds, holding a video camera. "They forgot to take this with them."
-
>All of the girls gather around as the play button is pressed.
-
>On the tiny screen appears an image of Rainbow Dash holding her guitar in one of the yacht's boiler rooms while Pinkie holds the camera.
-
>She plays a few loud strums and shreds while singing "awesome as I wanna be", striking all sorts of poses anyone can tell she thinks is the most badass looking thing in the world.
-
>"This darned contraption has so many buttons and knobs for adjusting sound on it." Complains Octavia. "Vinyl had to help me out with almost all of that part."
-
>"Well when are the mane seven coming back?" Asks Lyra.
-
>"They shouldn't be gone long, they said something needing to bring some props over."
-
>Starlight and Trixie exchange glances with one another and then with the other girls.
-
>They managed to live to see the day after last night so far... but how long can they last against the slasher movie plot that's after them now?
-
>All of them check the edges of the large boat before heading inside, locking the doors behind them.
-
>Wishing eachother and themselves good luck.
-
>---
-
>After getting a text that her friends will be going to the city to film another scene of their music video, Starlight does her best to steer the yacht in the direction of Manehattan.
-
>Every girl onboard constantly checks over the metal railing of the ship as though the trees on either side have eyes.
-
>This river is luckily wide enough to keep the riverbanks at bay, but that doesn't stop Jason from eventually finding the yacht from underwater.
-
>Swimming expertly like a Navy Seal with 300 confirmed kills, Jason Voorhees moves like a submarine, keeping his weapon close and pressing on like a submerged marine.
-
>Waiting until the passengers on yacht leave the coast, letting their guard down where there's less ways to call for help.
-
>The vessel soon enters open waters, and no one can hear Jason punching sharks in the nose and making them swim away.
-
>The yacht keeps hugging the coastline for dozens of nautical miles along its length like it missed it.
-
>"Alright, I think we had to have lost him by now." Lyra sits back down after checking all around the edges of the yacht's metal railings.
-
>Octavia lets her long hair get blown around by the wind, Bonbon explores down into the lower levels of the deck to find Vinyl testing out her DJ station.
-
>After several more minutes have gone by, Octavia enters the room where Vinyl's DJ station is as well. "Have you seen the video camera?"
-
>Vinyl shrugs back at her.
-
>Starlight meanwhile continues to steer the yacht the best she can, managing to use her plot armor to keep it from running aground on the shore as the waves try to push it closer to land.
-
>"Are you sure going to the city is a good idea?" Lyra asks Starlight. "What if the others aren't there?"
-
>"Relax, Sunset just texted me that they're heading over right now to film the next part of the video?" Starlight replies.
-
>"You told them about Jason though, right?"
-
>"Uh, duh, of course I did!" Starlight rolls her eyes sarcastically. "No, actually I kept it a secret, yeah."
-
>"Sheesh, no need to be like that about it."
-
>Octavia briefly enters the room in search of the video camera.
-
>Trixie begins sunbathing in her bikini right when the sun is about to set anyway.
-
>As Bonbon searches more of the lower rooms to make sure Jason isn't lurking around anywhere, she starts hearing ghastly voices and seeing apparitions.
-
>"Uhh, girls? I think this ship might be haunted!" Bonbon quickly retreated back up to the deck with a worried expression.
-
>"Whaaaaaat? There's ghosts here?!" Trixie lifts her sunglasses and stares down at the other girl. "That'd be perfect for the music video! Trixie calls dibs on this great idea!"
-
>"Trixie, now's not the time for that! We're in a state of emergency!" Lyra says to the sunbathing girl. "Like, what is wrong with you?"
-
>"The Great and Powerful Trixie can easily take Jason Voorhees down and then make a song about it, meaning she can make the mane seven's video better too!" Trixie holds the video camera in her hand, proving that she stole it.
-
>"God damn it, Trixie!" Lyra starts climbing up to the crow's nest to either strangle Trixie or snatch the video camera out of her hands, whichever one she can do first.
-
>Meanwhile, Vinyl continues jamming to the music she's playing in her DJ set before the power cuts off.
-
>She looks down, pressing any button she can before the power cuts back on again, startling her and making her jump backwards.
-
>She backs right up into someone, turns around, finding that she just backed up into Jason Voorhees standing behind her.
-
>Now hacking away at the air with his machete, Jason tries to chop Vinyl up right after she was quick enough to dart away.
-
>Being mute without a voice, Vinyl cannot scream and picks up a large bundle of thick wires lying around to defend herself with.
-
>No whacking of these wires will be able to slow Jason down, however, let alone kill him.
-
>Because of this, Vinyl silently runs back and forth with no way to call for help without a voice.
-
>No matter where she turns, Jason is always standing right there before her, apparently having teleportation powers now.
-
>The music from her DJ station continues playing while this goes on until Jason finally catches Vinyl and starts strangling her, able to pick her up using his greater height advantage and undead strength.
-
>A supersonic sound wave from Vinyl's DJ station emits out of one of the speakers and blows Jason Voorhees back through the sheer force of powerful sound alone.
-
>Her lets go of Vinyl, and the deafening noise was enough to gain everyone else's attention.
-
>She presses the pack-me-up button on her DJ station that causes the entire thing to fold back up like a transformer toy Hasbro wanted you to buy into a mechanical backpack Vinyl puts onto her back and runs away while Jason stumbles to his feet.
-
>"Vinyl! are you alright?" Octavia is the first in the room.
-
>A couple of wires the DJ station was plugged into can't stay in the outlets as Vinyl gets too far away, and the resulting sparks land on a nearby curtain and start a fire.
-
>The two musical girls make their way through the lower corridors of the yacht while apparitions of Jason's past start blaring through the hallways like holograms.
-
>"Vinyl, where the hell are you?" Bonbon starts checking various rooms with Lyra close by.
-
>As she stops by one of the circular windows, Jason (now outside again for some reason) punches through it, reaches over and starts strangling Bonbon.
-
>She luckily makes it away, but runs into a nearby bathroom instead of back out into the hallway.
-
>"Bonbon? What's going on?" Lyra enters the room to find Jason standing right there, before screaming and running away.
-
>Before running after Lyra, Jason breaks down the locked door and marches into the bathroom where BonBon cowers on the floor in terror.
-
>He punches the mirror and then takes one of the shards of broken glass to kill her with it, but she managed to sneak out behind him without him being able to see because he didn't have the reflection from the mirror to see behind himself.
-
>As the first starts to spread through the yacht, the fire alarm goes off, startling Starlight, who in turn starts to get the lifeboat ready.
-
>Everyone gathers onto the deck before a massive explosion occurs when the quickly spreading fire spreads to the engine room, and the yacht rocks violently back and forth.
-
>"Hey! What the fuck is going on down there! Trixie needs to be tan in the video!" Trixie holds the stolen video camera in her hand, trying to moon-bathe now that the sun has gone down too much to shine upon her.
-
>"Trixie! We need to get into the lifeboat! Jason's here!" Starlight frantically pulls on the ropes and whatnot, lowering the lifeboat more clumsily than the people aboard the Titanic when it was starting to tilt.
-
>"Ugh, not now, Starlight baby! Jason can wait! The Great and Powerful Trixie can take him!" Trixie declares as everyone else scrambles into the lowering lifeboat as time quickly runs out.
-
>A giant plume of smoke rises before a towering inferno erupts from the middle of the ship, the glow of which illuminating Trixie's face a bright orange as she stares at it while listening to the fire alarm.
-
>An ember lands on the front tuft of her hair, and she licks her fingers to pinch it out.
-
>"Trixie we have to go NOW! What about the fire?!" Starlight urges.
-
>"Fire?! How do you know there is one?! Use your common sense!" Replies Trixie.
-
>Jason appears directly behind Trixie, ready to hack away at her with his machete before another explosion rocks the vessel and sends Trixie falling off of the crow's nest down into the lifeboat into the safety Starlights lap.
-
>The lifeboat makes it away before the yacht sinks into the depths of the sea.
-
>"Welp, that's the end of that I guess..." Trixie grumbles to herself, having lost the video camera to the water.
-
~
-
>Finally, the lifeboat gradually approaches the city of Manehattan.
-
>When there's like 1.37896298735 seconds of the runtime left.
-
>A nearly circular glow of light provides a murky gray backdrop to the silhouettes of the countless skyscrapers.
-
>The lifeboat pulls up to on of the docks that leads straight up to one fo the major city streets that's next to the water.
-
>And there's like, no one there.
-
>Maybe the past flurry of events made this whole thing braindead enough to seem that way somehow.
-
>All of the girls get out of the lifeboat and begin meandering around random alleyways.
-
>Everything just feels even more directionless than before out of nowhere.
-
>They run past a bunch of guys loitering on top of the no loitering signs.
-
>Jason teleports behind the girls but then falls behind manually marching after them because of course he does.
-
>Punts the guy's boom box down the block, but then one of the guys pulls another even bigger boom box out of his pocket.
-
>Jason punts it even further over the Empire State Building and now they're bothered.
-
>"Hey, what the fuck, man?" One of them says before Jason turns around and pull up his mask.
-
>The group stares for a brief moment before finally recognizing him
-
>"Ohhhhh!" Another guy finally says while seeming completely unafraid.
-
>All seven of them then pull their faces up that all turned out to be masks used for the music video they were shooting and it's the mane 7.
-
>"Oh fuck." Jason gasps before running away.
-
>The powerful magical girls leave behind their stage costumes and chase Jason down the block in their street clothes.
-
>"He's going into that coffee shop! Don't let him get away!" Points Sunset while Rarity throws a diamond shield at him like a frisbee.
-
>It jabs into his back and he falls onto his face as the girls approach.
-
>Jason tries to stand up, but Rainbow Dash is already standing in front of him while the other girls catch up.
-
>Kicks him in the face hard enough to crack his mask, scoring two points before Applejack grabs him and hurls him across the street to right in front of another coffee shop rivaling the first coffee shop.
-
>Coffee shop rivalry.
-
>Jason desperately escapes by crashing through the front window.
-
>"That'll cost you 50,000 dollars plus tax to fund repairs." Says the blonde waitress behind the counter wearing a red suit with red dots on her cheeks. "Hope you got insurance because you're on camera."
-
>"I'll take care of this." The cook emerges from the back to take care of Jason before Jason slams his face into a mirror or something idk no one there was really paying enough attention.
-
>Twilight uses her telepathic powers to float the shattered window and mirror back together while Rarity patches it up with her diamond force field powers.
-
>Both damaged surfaces looks even better than they did before they were smashed.
-
>"Now it's 500,000 dollars plus tax." Adds the waitress.
-
>"What? Why?" Asks Sunset, using the front door to enter.
-
>"Welcome to New York." The waitress gives her the most nonchalant stare of All Time.
-
>"After him!" Pinkie Pie points to Jason escaping through the back door leading to alleyways behind the coffee shop.
-
>Rainbow Dash instantly catches up to him and mule kicks him onto the ground.
-
>The rest of the girls follow him and start beating the shit out of him.
-
>Everyone watches the episode unfold through the slowly closing door before going back to sipping their coffee and reading their papers and eating bagels and pumping memecoins and watching vtubers.
-
>"The city's gang violence situation is insane." One of the unenthusiastic patrons comments before tipping 500,000 dollars and getting arrested because he forgot the unspecified tax. "Fuck this, I'm going to Miami next time."
-
>The mane 7 rainbow blast Jason hard enough to last the entirety of June and he falls into a nearby set of subway doors.
-
>Jason silently stands up and start menacingly walking away even though he could still just teleport back to Camp Crystal Lake.
-
>He makes it to the other end of the subway car before a man in clown makeup pulls out a gun and shoots him three times.
-
>Jason gets saved when a fat prison guard pulls the man in clown makeup into the nearby bathroom.
-
>Taking the opportunity to escape when the doors open, Jason trips and falls and gets electrocuted on the train tracks.
-
>Fluttershy whispers to a family of subway rats to swarm Jason and collectively shit on him. "Good job everyone!" She gives them an Aquaman face before Jason runs away again.
-
>"He's getting away!" Pinkie Pie throws a cupcake-shaped holy hand grenade in the escaping goalie's direction.
-
>All seven of them follow Jason through an alleyway, this time just figuring out how to surround him from all directions which leads them to trapping him on a roof.
-
>Mask now cracked in half and nearly falling off of his face, Jason runs out of room to back up to as all now 8 of the girls close in on him.
-
>"You think I didn't have friends? Hmm?" Starlight Glimmer is the one Jason decides to face as all the other girls back away.
-
>"Go get him!" Applejack cheers her on.
-
>Starlight puts her fists up and starts to punch Jason in the face over and over as all of her friends clap and cheer for her in a circle around the two on the roof.
-
>This goes on for like 30 minutes or something.
-
>Taking each blow like a bored slab of meat, Jason just lets Starlight Glimmer tire herself out.
-
>Wishing one of the girls with actual magical powers will just kill him already and put him out of his annoying misery already.
-
>Reading his mind, Sunset gives AJ and RD a nod, giving them the okay to step in for their friend and start tango dancing together.
-
>Jason looks on in utter confusion.
-
>"Are you a third wheel?" Proclaims Rainbow Dash through the rose between her teeth. "Because it takes TWO to TANGO!"
-
>RD's and AJ's hands interlocking fingers punch Jason in the face together, hard enough to send his severed head flying over the Statue Of Liberty while an eagle caws in the background.
-
>Jason's head flies down through a storm drain and gets washed away by an underground tidal wave of radioactive waste.
-
>His headless body falls down onto the surface of the roof and all the magical girls raise their arms and cheer in victory as time freezes and the song from the ending credits to Death Proof starts playing.
-
>The End.
