  1. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  2. If you read Adagio part 1 and don't want to re-read the entire first part you can search for the word "FORK". It will take you to the start of the split between timelines.
  3. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4.
  5. >you are awoken by the sudden tapping of glass next to you
  6. >you see your coworker standing outside signaling to his watch
  7. >you take a glimpse at yours and not read 1 you cce that your shift was over a few minutes ago
  8. "Shit, sorry man, didn't mean to snooze again"
  9. >you get up and open the door for him
  10. >"Sure you didnt. I still don't understand how the day shift leaves you so tired all the time."
  11. "Maybe I'm just a night person. The moon seems much more interesting than the boring old sun."
  12. >your coworker simply rolls his eyes
  13. >you grab your jacket and keys before leaving the small reception box
  14. >your coworker does the opposite as you begin walking towards your truck
  15. >"hey anon, might get rainy tonight."
  16. "Thanks for the heads up Jimmy."
  17. >you get inside your truck and proceed to pullout of the motel
  18.
  19. >a storm starts to pick up after driving for a few minutes
  20. "Why couldn't it rain until I got home"
  21. >it was difficult to see in front of you
  22. >you couldn't tell if you missed your next turn or not
  23. "Where the hell am I?"
  24. >you came to notice the lack of cars on the road
  25. >you decide to pull a u turn and drive at a slower pace keeping an eye on the street signs
  26. >not long after turning you notice someone running around a corner as if being chased
  27. >it was a small figure wearing a hoodie with the hood up and some jeans
  28. >almost seconds later you see two more appear from the corner wearing similar clothing with different colors
  29. >as you neared the corner you could begin to recognize them as having a feminine body shape
  30. >they seem to be catching their breath before you notice a larger figure appear behind them
  31. >this doesn't feel right
  32. >you immediately pull over next to the girls
  33. >you leave the engine running and exit the vehicle
  34. >you begin walking towards both parties
  35.
  36. >"I've finally got you you witches"
  37. >he hasn't noticed you approaching yet
  38. "Hey what's going on here?"
  39. >everyone turned to face you
  40. >"This crazed lunatic is trying to hurt us!"
  41. >one of the girls immediately spoke up upon seeing you
  42. >"yeah, for realzies!"
  43. >a second one spoke, with a much higher pitch
  44. "What's the big deal bub."
  45. >you unknowingly began to circle the figure, coming between him and the girls
  46. >"you don't know what you're getting into so I suggest you get out of the way and . . ."
  47. "I think I do know what I'm getting into. I'm getting into a group of defenseless girls and a creep attempting to harm them"
  48. >the man starts to circle you aswell
  49. >"defenseless? Hah! These are the real creeps"
  50. >you motion for the girls to stand behind you
  51. >"look, buddy, the faster I take care of these harlots, the faster the world can get back to normal."
  52. >both of you stopped turning
  53. >you notice your truck ended up behind him
  54. >crap, looks like you can't just make a run for it with the girls and leave
  55. >a confrontation is in order, or at least a distraction to get the girls in the truck
  56. "Look, I don't want any trouble, but you calling them names is really starting to get on my nerves so how about we . . ."
  57. >'my nerves'? Sure the name calling was starting to upset you but you didn't plan on saying that outloud
  58. >guess you must still be tired
  59. ". . . how about we go home and sleep"
  60. >'sleep'? You know for sure weren't going say that but you felt like saying it
  61. >felt
  62. >You suddenly felt like punching him now
  63. >you began to notice a silence
  64. >you expected to start hearing your heart beating but instead something different came
  65. >you could hear humming
  66.
  67. >you weren't sure if it was adrenaline rushing through you or something else but you could feel a great urge to create a fist and plant it on this guy's face
  68. >you took notice of your arms and how they began to move on their own
  69. >what your body was doing however was far different from what you were expecting to happen
  70. >you notice both your arms are being raised with both palms open away from you
  71. >you begin to feel a new urge rising from your spine
  72. >you also notice the humming has changed
  73. >as the urge climbed your spine to your brain you begin to realize what you are doing
  74. >or what your body is doing, with you being nothing but a spectator
  75. >you are moving in to push this man away from your truck
  76. >but once you make contact with this man's chest, you feel the urge has arrived
  77. >your eyes widen as you realize that pushing him away from the truck wasn't the plan
  78. >within a fraction of a second you manage to see from the corner of your eye a pair of headlights that weren't from your truck
  79.
  80. >it happened so quickly
  81. >one minute you were trying to calm things down, the next you could see the face of this stranger disappear into the rain
  82. >the humming reverted back to the first tone
  83. >you stood there motionless for a few seconds
  84. >the silence began to diffuse as the sound of rain, tire screeching, and singing began to fill your head
  85. >'singing'?
  86. >"That was close, that creep nearly hurt you."
  87. >hurt me?
  88. >he didn't even get to lift a fist at me
  89. >you felt a hand touch your shoulder
  90. >snapping out of your frozen state, you notice the singing stopped
  91. >you wish it hadn't
  92. >you turn to face the group of unknown girls
  93. >the one holding your shoulder had a pair of dark pink eyes and yellow skin
  94. >the other two approached you and you can see one possessing dark purple eyes and purple skin and the other had slightly lighter pink eyes and pale blue skin
  95. >"A little bit more and he would have had us. Good thing you showed up."
  96. >The blue one spoke and you felt the need to respond to her
  97. "Happened to be at the right time, and the right place."
  98. >Why did you respond?
  99. >the scene just moments before was something you didn't expect to witness and definitely not be the cause of it
  100. >you should be checking to see if he's okay or call help
  101. >"hey, you wouldn't mind maybe taking us someplace, I don't know, out of the rain maybe?"
  102. >the purple one barked as she began walking towards your truck
  103. >who does she think she is ordering you in that manner
  104. >"What she means to say is if you could take us somewhere safe. Somewhere away from this."
  105. >The orange one spoke, and it was such a soothing voice
  106. "Sure. Where do you want me to take you gals?"
  107. >"Takes us to your place, please. We'll feel much safer there."
  108. >you expected them to ask you to take them to their own house but to yours?
  109. >you don't even know them
  110. "Yeah okay, let's get out of the rain."
  111. >you don't know why you said yes but something inside you wasn't letting you say no
  112.
  113. >You motion for the girls to follow you to the truck
  114. >Immediately two of them rush over and start fighting for the front seat
  115. >"Come on Aria, I want to sit next to him."
  116. >"No. Then you'll mess things up like last time."
  117. >"At least I won't mess up like you just did."
  118. >The third girl left your shoulder and ran up to the other two
  119. >Your body started to feel cold all of sudden
  120. >"Girls, enough!"
  121. >The two stopped their skirmish
  122. >She quickly eyed you before returning her attention to the two
  123. >They began to whisper among themselves
  124. >You couldn't bring yourself to pay attention to what they were saying
  125. >The warmth on your shoulder was slowly fading away
  126. >You began walking around the front of the truck when you start feel your heart racing
  127. >Your knees buckle and you fall to your hands
  128. >Looking down to the wet concrete, you regain awareness of what happened
  129. "I pushed him . . ."
  130. >You didnt notice that they stopped talking and saw what was happening to you
  131. "I pushed him into the truck . . ."
  132. >You could hear doors open and close
  133. "I ki. . ."
  134. >You couldn't finish your open thought as you felt the warmth return to you
  135. >Turning to your shoulder you see the same hand again
  136.
  137. >You turn to face the person holding your shoulder
  138. >You see that she wasn't wearing her hood on anymore
  139. >You could see the rain pouring down onto her head
  140. >"It's okay. You're safe with me."
  141. >Droplets from her beehive ran down her face to her cheeks
  142. >She held a smile towards you
  143. >The sight of it made you forget what you were upset about
  144. >She helped you up and walked you to the drivers seat
  145. >She opened the door and let you get inside
  146. >Closing the door, she then proceeds to run around to the side passenger seat
  147. >Your eyes were glued to her the entire time until she got in
  148. >Once inside, you turned your attention forward and noticed the stopped vehicle a couple of yards ahead of you
  149. >You gasped as the horrible cold started rising again
  150. >Before you could say anything, you feel the warmth of her hand once more
  151. >Returning your gaze to her, you see she unzipped her hoodie enough to see a necklace on her
  152. >"You wouldn't mind if we sing a song do you? Sonata is still really scared and singing always calms her down."
  153. >"I'm not scared . . Oof"
  154. >You notice the purple one elbow her
  155. >"You are blowing it."
  156. >"No, you blow it."
  157. >"Quit it you two."
  158. >You return to the orange beauty
  159. >"Please?"
  160. >She was giving that smile again
  161. >Saying no was never going to become an option
  162. "Sure, I'd like to hear you sing."
  163.
  164. >All three of them started singing but your attention was strictly focused to the warm glow of the girl before you
  165. >The sound coming from her voice was so angelic
  166. >Not long after they started singing did you start hearing that humming in your head again
  167. >You were once again a spectator, watching your body act on its own
  168. >Turning away from her, you grip the steering wheel
  169. >Your eyes once again see the vehicle ahead and you start trembling
  170. >You feel a hand rest on your leg
  171. >You feel safe
  172. >Their singing hasn't stopped yet
  173. >The awareness of knowing what you had done was becoming clearer
  174. >But you didn't feel afraid or disgusted anymore
  175. >You felt relief and was happy he was gone
  176. >You began driving forward, coming up next to the other car
  177. >As the front of it came into view, the song ended
  178. "He got what he deserved."
  179.
  180. >You were fully aware of what you just said
  181. >You didn't have a reason for why
  182. >The first thing to pop up was 'to protect the girls'
  183. >You did it for them
  184. >You could hear the driver of the other car shout to you but you kept driving
  185. >These girls need to get someplace safe
  186. > Somewhere away from this
  187. >Your place was their first choice
  188. >You felt compelled to oblige
  189. >You turned to face the glowing figure beside you
  190. >She looked into your eyes before giving a devilish grin
  191. >It wasn't the same as the smile she gave you you earlier
  192. >It didn't feel safe
  193. >She then turns to face the other girls
  194. >"That's how it's done."
  195. >She removed her hand from your lap but the warmth didn't leave you this time
  196. >You didn't know what she meant and felt like asking was a normal action to take
  197. >But the urge to ask that also brought a chill
  198. >'They wouldn't want you to ask them that'
  199. >You changed your mind to focus on the road
  200. >Getting them safe was more important
  201.
  202. >You finally come to a stop in an alley
  203. >"What, no driveway?"
  204. >You wanted to speak up about the purple ones tone but that chill started coming again
  205. "No, I don't own a house. I live in an apartment."
  206. >You could see the disappointment in their eyes
  207. >There was no chill warning this time
  208. >You truly seem to have messed up
  209. >You let them down
  210. >The chill was burning your spine
  211. >You wanted the warmth again
  212. >You turned to the face next to you and could see uncertainty in her face
  213. "But don't worry! I have a perfect place you. I can take you there tomorrow morning."
  214. >She gives you a sly smile
  215. >The chill subsides
  216. >"Okay girls, we stay here the night and rest up. Tomorrow we can go hunting for food."
  217. >"Fine. Lead the way you dolt!"
  218. >The purple she devil smacks you on the head
  219. >It was strange
  220. >You knew what response you were going to give and immediately decided against it
  221. "Sorry. Please follow me to the front of the building."
  222. >No chill creeped up this time
  223.
  224. >You all exit the truck and are exposed to the heavy downpour
  225. >You rush around the corner with your jacket as a shield against the rain
  226. >You reach the front of the building and turn to see the others stop right behind you
  227. >"What a dump."
  228. >That purple chick is really getting on your nerves
  229. >You remained silent and opened the door
  230. >Once inside, you lead them upstairs to your apartment
  231. >Last floor of the building
  232. >Room 34
  233. >Next level was the rooftop
  234. >You unlock the door and let them all in
  235. "Welcome to my home."
  236. >The room wasn't anything fancy and your organized clutter kept it from looking like a mess
  237. >They all walk in and begin to scan the place
  238. >It only took them a minute before they came back to you
  239. >Their faces were beginning to look like another failure of yours was witnessed
  240. >"There's only one bed."
  241.
  242. >A million scenarios ran across your head from hearing the words 'one bed'
  243. >The warmest, or what you hope to be, correct response was singled out
  244. "I could sleep on the couch."
  245. >"You will do no such thing."
  246. >This answer surprised you
  247. >The orange haired diva slowly began to strut towards you
  248. >She slowly unzipped her hoodie, giving you a seductive grin as she did
  249. >Feeling slightly intimidated, you began to back up until you hit the closed door behind you
  250. >Her hoodie, now fully unzipped, revealed a heavily drenched shirt
  251. >It was attached to her like a second layer of skin
  252. >It clearly revealed the curves on her upper body
  253. >She was within kissing range, forcing you to look into her eyes
  254. >Her body was giving you signals to move forward and plant a kiss on her
  255. >But those eyes
  256. >They were demanding absolute your attention
  257. >You didn't move
  258. >She chuckled before placing both arms around your neck
  259. >Moving towards your ear, she began to whisper
  260. >"I will take the couch and those two will take the bed."
  261. >You had no urge to talk
  262. >Each word she whispered caused blood to flow downwards
  263. >"I can only guess your wondering where you will sleep."
  264. >That thought was nowhere to be found
  265. >"You will be sleeping where it is almost always moist and wet."
  266. >She really emphasized those two words into your ear
  267. >A shiver went up your spine
  268. >"How does the bathtub sound?"
  269.
  270. "The bathtub?"
  271. >Blood was slowly returning to the rest of your body
  272. >"Of course. Surely a man like you will love being inside a moist crevice such as that one."
  273. >She started laughing as she lowered her arms from your neck
  274. >Her embrace was greatly overshadowing the current situation
  275. >You wish you remained in her embrace
  276. >She turned to face the other girls, removing her jacket completely as did
  277. >"You two will sleep in the bed and I will take the couch."
  278. >"What, no fair! Why do I have to sleep with her?"
  279. >"If you want the bed you're gonna have to share it with Sonata."
  280. >"Give me the couch then."
  281. >"Sorry, but as the leader I can't have any distractions so you'll have to put up with her shenanigans."
  282.
  283. >You stood there like an idiot while the girls talked
  284. >You snapped out of this state when you hear a loud thump from damp clothing hitting the floor
  285. >"Well first thing's first, we got to get out of these wet clothes."
  286. >Slowly but surely, the peach beauty started to remove each article of clothing on her
  287. >With you still standing here
  288. >First item being removed was her shirt
  289. >As if on purpose, she slowly raised it revealing her bare waist and eventually her back
  290. >Your blood starts heading downtown again at the sight
  291. >Feeling full control of your body, you remove your jacket and hold it right in front of you to cover the growing stiff
  292. >"Hey, Adagio, is this creep gonna watch us change like a pervert?"
  293. >Your attention snaps to the she devil who seems to have only removed her sweater
  294. >"Adagio, what are we going to wear?"
  295. >You shift attention to the blue one who was lacking both a sweater and her pants
  296. >You were unsure what you should be doing right now so you started making your way to the bathroom
  297. >Almost as if triggering a spring trap, you are shoved to the wall
  298. >Pulling some 270 degree turn towards you, the orange being was holding you against the wall
  299. >Both her hands resting on either side of wall behind your head, she began to push her still dripping body onto you
  300. >Her waist started rubbing up against your not so concealed stiff
  301. >"I just realized. You have three girls, stripping, in your apartment, and we don't even know your name yet."
  302.
  303. >Not wanting to fall into the pull of her eyes like last time, you focus your attention just above her head looking at a wall on the opposite side of the room
  304. >She removed one arm from the wall to signal towards the other girls
  305. >"That one's Sonata and the the other one is Aria."
  306. >Returning her hand to the wall, she begins to press even closer with her waist
  307. >You couldn't even tell if she knew what you had down there or just didn't care
  308. >"And I'm Adagio."
  309. >She said this in such a sultry voice it triggered a response
  310. "I'm Anon!"
  311. >Not at all phased by your name shouting, she eased up on the pressure she was applying on you
  312. >Feeling her back away lured you into lowering your gaze from the wall
  313. >Your eyes returned to seeing hers, falling under their spell
  314. >"Well, Anon, we didn't bring any spare clothes so how about you find something for us to wear."
  315. >She turned to walk away and started undoing her bra
  316.
  317. >As one strap came down after the other, you started to panic
  318. >You weren't sure if she was going to let it fall and turn to face you, chest fully exposed
  319. >You reacted quickly and escaped to your bedroom
  320. "I'll find something for you wear!"
  321. >You couldn't control the volume of your voice
  322. >In the bedroom, you rushed over to the closet and grabbed any piece of clothing that you could get your hands on
  323. >Your selection ended up consisting of a tank top, a long sleeve shirt, two pairs of shorts and your pajamas
  324. >You were one set short so you reached back into the closet
  325. >Before you could pull anything out, someone walked into the room
  326. >"Did you find something already?"
  327. >You turn out startled, thinking it was Adagio that walked in in her birthday suit
  328. >You felt slight relief seeing it was just Aria
  329. >Slight
  330. >She glanced over to the bed where you laid out all the clothes
  331. >"That's it? Fine, I'm taking the pajamas."
  332. "Wait. Those are mi . . ."
  333. >"I said 'I'm taking the pajamas'. You can find something else to wear."
  334. >She collects all the clothes and walks out the room
  335. >You decide to simply let it go and settled with a another pair of shorts and a t shirt
  336.
  337. >You changed quickly to avoid anyone catching you half naked
  338. >Gathering all your wet clothes, you walk to leave the room, hoping everyone else was dressed
  339. >Heading to the doorway, you collide with Aria and find yourselves caught between it
  340. >Your hands, extended out before you in order to hold the clothes, were now caught between you and her chest
  341. >Only the back of your hands were able to make contact with her breasts
  342. >"You stupid idiot!"
  343. >She raised up an arm and planted a big fist to the side of your face knocking you loose from the doorway
  344. >You swear you noticed her cheeks turn red before only stars clouded your vision
  345. >"Watch where you're going you doofus!"
  346. >She then stomped into the room leaving you dazed on the the floor
  347. >You started coming to when a pair of legs appeared before you
  348. >"She really got you good, didn't she Anon."
  349. >Sonata was looking down at you, wearing a pair of your shorts and your long sleeve shirt
  350. >It was far too long for her seeing as how her hands weren't even visible
  351. "I might have deserved that."
  352. >That punch was definitely uncalled for though
  353. >It was an accident
  354. >You feel pain growing as feeling returned to your cheek
  355. >"You should brace yourself next time you decide to feel her up."
  356.
  357. >You get up and dust yourself off
  358. "I wasn't trying to feel her up. We just bumped into each other."
  359. >"You don't have to lie. I totally understand if you wanted to feel those knockers of hers."
  360. >You pressed on the bridge of your nose before returning her
  361. "Can you just tell her I'm sorry?"
  362. >"Gotcha. I'll tell her you're sorry for grabbing her melons."
  363. >What! No!
  364. >She already turned to enter the room
  365. >"Hey Aria . . ."
  366. >It was best if you got out of there fast so you picked up your clothes and dashed to the living room
  367.
  368. >As you walked into the living room, the sight before was something your head will never let you forget
  369. >This time you weren't a spectator watching as your body moves
  370. >This time you were a spectator watching someone else's body move
  371. >Standing before you, with back turned towards you, is Adagio
  372. >You stood there, watching, as she so carefully brought the shorts up her ankles
  373. >Up her calves
  374. >Until finally it made contact with her thighs
  375. >Slowly you watched as her deep red undergarments vanished under the shorts
  376. "I . . . Uhm . . . I . . ."
  377. >Hearing you choke, she turned and gave a puzzled look
  378. >"What's wrong?"
  379.
  380. It took you a minute to hide the memory before you could speak clearly
  381. "I just wanted to tell you that . . . I will be heading . . . down stairs . . . to the laundry room to wash these clothes."
  382. >"You don't have to worry about that right now."
  383. >She gingerly walks to your side and grabs hold of your arm
  384. >You didn't notice until now that the constant warmth you felt much earlier had been gone this entire time
  385. >But whenever the warmth would wither, a chill would take its place
  386. >This entire time you seem to have been at some equilibrium, allowing you to have greater control of your actions
  387. >None of your previous actions were met with a warning of the oncoming chill
  388. >Your responses weren't made out of place either
  389. >But once she grabbed you, the warmth returned
  390. >And to her will were you lost
  391. >"How about you take care of this tomorrow morning and take a rest right now?"
  392. >You were feeling sleepy again
  393. >You placed the clothes down and walked into the bathroom
  394.
  395. >You turn on the lights and walk to the glass doors of the bathtub
  396. >You slide it open and hop inside, lowering yourself into it
  397. >You were about to close the door when Adagio stops you
  398. >"Leave it open so you can hear us."
  399. >You could see serious concern in her eyes
  400. "Yeah, okay."
  401. >You weren't sure what she seemed so worried about but obeyed nonetheless
  402. >She gave you a smile
  403. >It was the same smile she gave you when your were collapsed to your knees earlier
  404. >You felt safe again
  405. >She turned off the light as she left the bathroom
  406. >Your only light source was from a nightlight plugged into a nearby wall and the light from outside the hall
  407. >You couldn't help but notice Adagio turn in the direction of the bedroom
  408. >Soon after you started to hear singing, and with it came the humming in your head
  409. >Slowly you drifted off to sleep
  410.
  411. >You open your eyes to see nothing but black
  412. >Scanning around, you find yourself alone
  413. >You look down and notice you are wearing the same clothes you were wearing when you left work a while ago
  414. >The same clothes you were wearing when you pulled over to help a group of girls
  415. >The same ones you were wearing when you killed that guy
  416. >The black silence is broken when a green fog cracks through the nothingness followed by harmonious chanting
  417. >It sounded familiar
  418. >As the green fog got closer, so did the chanting get louder
  419. >Within the fog you could see three figures with a red glow coming from each of them
  420. >You felt yourself leave your body, leaving an empty shell below you
  421. >Your became a spectator once again but this time from a different perspective
  422. >You see your body turn away from the fog and staring at a different figure
  423. >It was the guy you unwillingly pushed to his death
  424. >The same scene began playing as before but you noticed something you didn't witness before
  425. >One of the figure's within the fog started to move up behind you
  426. >You couldn't see who or what it was but it approached your shell as it was about to deliver a punch
  427. >It touched your shoulder and your action reversed to a standing position
  428. >The figure then got close to your body's ear and whispered
  429. >You knew you were already tripping out here but as it whispered to your body you could hear it as if it were right next to you even though you are currently nothing floating above the scene
  430. >"Kill him for me."
  431.
  432. >"Boop!"
  433. >You are awakened by a blue finger touching your nose
  434. "Who? What? What's happening?"
  435. >"Calm down, it's just me and good morning by the way!"
  436. "Oh well good morning Sonata. Where are the other two?
  437. >She stood straight and crossed her arms after you asked her that
  438. >"That's it? Good morning Sonata? Why do you only care about them? Why don't I get your awkward stares and friendly groping?
  439. >Awkward stares and friendly groping!?
  440. "Woah, hey. I'm sorry, but those were accidents.
  441. >"Then why don't you 'accidentally' watch me pee. Then I'll be even with them."
  442. "What!?"
  443. >You quickly tried to climb out of the slippery tub, failing as you do so
  444. >Sonata merely laughed as she walked to the toilet
  445. >You resorted to crawling out
  446. >She was already pulling down her shorts as she was about to take a seat
  447. >There was no chance to get up and run
  448. >You continued to crawl all the way out the door
  449. >Once out you shut the door behind you
  450. >"Aww, you big weenie."
  451.
  452. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  453. [FORK]
  454. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  455.
  456. >You sat up against the door while Sonata was inside humming a silly tune
  457. >You stayed a bit thinking about the dream that you had
  458. >It felt like a memory you weren't supposed to see
  459. "So can you answer my question?"
  460. >"What was that?"
  461. "Where are the others?"
  462. >"You really don't like me. Adagio went downstairs and I think Aria is on the roof."
  463. >The roof?
  464. >You thought it somewhat strange for a girl like her to be up there sightseeing
  465. >You stood up from the door and headed out of the apartment
  466. >"Anon? Are you still there?"
  467.
  468. >You closed the door behind you and was faced with two paths
  469. >One lead upstairs to the roof and the other downstairs
  470. >You never did properly apologize to Aria from last night's misunderstanding so you felt like getting that taken care of
  471. >You headed upstairs to the roof
  472. >Opening the door let the bright sky shine on you face
  473. >The clouds were already clearing up from last night's downpour
  474. >You took a deep breath of the fresh air and walked out the doorway
  475. >You scanned the rooftop until spotting Aria leaning on a corner railing of the building
  476. >You felt that chill crawling behind you but tried to ignore it as you began walking over to her
  477.
  478. >You were accustomed to always changing your approach whenever that chill came but only when your action felt negative towards one of them
  479. >You were here to apologize and saw nothing bad about that
  480. >You continued forward with the chill lingering inside you
  481. >"What are you doing here?"
  482. >She must've heard you walking even though you weren't making much noise
  483. >Maybe she was psychic, but if she was she wouldn't ask what you're doing here
  484. "I came to apologize about what happened last night."
  485. >She didn't turn to face you
  486. >"I hope you enjoyed that because I very much doubt you'll have a chance to do that again."
  487. "Woah, hey. I didn't mean to do that on purpose. We just bumped in each other."
  488. >She gave a huff at your answer
  489. >You decided to lean on the railing next to her, the chill scratching your spine
  490. >You notice her glance your way before quickly lowering herself so her chest was hidden behind her arms
  491. >She must really feel uncomfortable near you
  492. >Given her attitude from last night you assumed she was all tough but it seems that might just be the exterior
  493. >The chill started to claw on your insides as you decided to say the last thing you remember from last night
  494. "You guys sounded beautiful last night."
  495.
  496. >The chill surrounded you as you noticed her face frown
  497. >You were confused as to why your compliment would make her feel insulted
  498. >"Yeah, whatever."
  499. >She left the railing and turned to leave
  500. "Wait. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings."
  501. >She stopped walking but didn't face you
  502. >"You didn't."
  503. >She resumed walking towards the door back into the building
  504. >The chill was growing stronger and you didn't feel like you could take it much longer
  505. >You started running through many actions that could help reduce the effect but none seemed to be enough
  506. >You finally came across one that signaled warmth but the idea of it was one that made you feel it would be the opposite of you were trying to do
  507. >The chill was burning you and you simply said 'fuck it'
  508. >You ran up to her and turned her to face you before locking your lips with hers
  509. >She tried to push you away but she didn't retreat her lips
  510. >She eventually gave in and returned the kiss
  511. >The warmth coming from her face was slowly pushing the chill away
  512. >You placed your arms behind her back and pulled her closer to your chest without breaking the kiss
  513. >The warmth from her body sped up the process of clearing the chill
  514. >Once the chill was completely gone, she began to push you away
  515. >She broke the kiss and shoved you away from her
  516. >"Please, no more."
  517. >You see her shedding a single tear before she wiped it away
  518. "Aria, I . . . "
  519. >She quickly runs to the door and slams it as she heads downstairs
  520. >You remained there, motionless confused and warm
  521.
  522. >You were alone on the rooftop puzzled with yourself
  523. >You were warm, which felt good, but seeing Aria leave like that didn't let you enjoy it
  524. >You hurried over to the door and grabbed the handle but didn't turn it
  525. >'What the hell is happening to me'
  526. >You let go of it and sat down against the door
  527. >You started thinking about the warm and chilling sensations you've been getting
  528. >They seemingly controlled what actions you should take
  529. >You didn't start feeling these sensations until after last night when you pushed that guy to his death
  530. >But during that you felt none, and your actions weren't your own
  531. >Your emotions during that were also not your own
  532. >Escalating from 'Sleep', 'Punch', to 'Kill'?
  533. >That didn't feel like you at all
  534. >Your mind started to remember parts of that dream you had
  535. >You remember the fog, the three figures, your strange out of body experience
  536. >The whisper
  537. >The realization that you were being controlled was sounding ridiculous but made too much sense
  538. "I wouldn't kill someone willingly, would I?"
  539.
  540. >You tried to shake the thought out of your head and got back up
  541. >You felt you should go and apologize to Aria, again, for forcing that kiss on her
  542. >You opened the door and made your way down
  543. >You reached your floor and continued to your room
  544. >You were in your doorway when a voice called from behind
  545. >"Good morning Anon."
  546. >You turned around and was faced with Adagio carrying a large basket of clothes
  547. >"You wouldn't mind carrying this in will you? I'd like to get a quick shower before we leave today."
  548. >You didn't get to answer and she handed you the basket anyway
  549. >She squeezed past you and started swaying her hips side to side as she walked in
  550. >She stopped a second and turned her head towards you
  551. >"Could you also bring me my clothes while I'm inside, I'll leave the door unlocked."
  552. >She did a 180 and walked back to you
  553. >She got in close and whispered to your ear
  554. >"You can take a quick dip with me if while you're in there."
  555. >Your eyes widened at the thought of a naked and soaked Adagio
  556. >She chuckled and returned to swaying her hips away from you and proceeded into the bathroom
  557. >Your body felt no chill nor warmth
  558. >Your next decision was completely up to you
  559.
  560. >You didn't like the fact your were being so easily enticed by her actions so you tried to restrain yourself
  561. >You walked into the living room and saw Sonata laying on the couch, flat on her stomach with her feet dancing in the air
  562. >It looked like she was reading something but you couldn't see what from this angle
  563. >You could, however, see the curves of her but showing through the shorts she was wearing
  564. >"I don't get it? What do these girls have that I don't that grabs men's attention? It's obviously not clothes because they're hardly wearing any."
  565. >'Girls?','Clothes?'
  566. >Oh no . . .
  567. >You dropped the basket down with a loud thud
  568. "Here are your clothes, Sonata."
  569. >"Ooh yes. Now I can change. At least then I'll have better clothes than these girls."
  570. >She jumped off the couch and rushed over to the basket
  571. >She left the magazine behind so you immediately grabbed it and ran to your bedroom
  572. >Once there you stopped to see Aria sitting on the edge of the bed
  573. >She looks over to you and then looks at the item in your hand
  574. >"Is that a . . . "
  575. "Oh, Aria, your clothing's clean now and it's over in the living room right now. Thought maybe you should know. Hehe."
  576. >You hid the magazine behind your back so she couldn't see it anymore
  577. >She just looked at you with a blank face before getting up to leave
  578. >"Thanks, I guess."
  579. >She leaves and you're left alone in the room
  580. >You should consider hiding this in a better place
  581.
  582. >You were done hiding the magazine
  583. >You know now that under the mattress isn't such a good place
  584. >How Sonata came across it was unclear to you but were glad one of the other two didn't see it
  585. >At least you hope Aria didn't see it since she was sleeping in this room aswell
  586. >That situation aside, you walked to your closet and picked out some clothes to change into
  587. >You picked out a plain red shirt and a pair of silver jeans
  588. >You sat on the end of your bed and put on a pair of shoes
  589. >You felt like taking a quick rest and dropped your back onto the bed before closing your eyes for a bit
  590. >A moment later a slight weight is dropped on you
  591. >You open your eyes to see a pile of folded clothes on your chest
  592. >You turn to your side and see Sonata standing there smiling
  593. >"Here are Adagio's clothes so you can give them to her."
  594. "Why can't you give them to her?"
  595. >"Well duh, because she asked you to do it. I'm gonna head downstairs and wait for you to leave."
  596. >She turned and left the room, leaving you with a pile of clothes sitting on your chest
  597. >You sigh before getting up and taking the clothes with you into the hallway
  598. >From there you could see Sonata heading for the door while Aria was laying down on the couch
  599. >You still needed to apologize
  600. >You planned on doing that just as soon as you drop off these clothes
  601. >You walked up to the bathroom door and knocked
  602. >You heard the water shut off but it was a few seconds before you got an answer
  603. >"Come in."
  604. >You really hoped Adagio was in there with a towel on
  605. >You didn't need Aria to think any less of you right now
  606. >You opened the door and was immediately pulled in
  607. >You were shoved into the door, forcing it close, dropping the clothes in the process
  608. >Adagio was holding your arms down and was staring intensely into your eyes
  609. >"Do you find me attractive?"
  610.
  611. "What?"
  612. >"Do you find me hot? Sexy? Bangable?"
  613. "What!? Why are you asking me this!?"
  614. >"Just answer the question. Am I irresistible?"
  615. >She kept getting closer to your face and squeezing your arms harder as she did
  616. >You were becoming slightly worried and terrified
  617. "Yes, you're hot. Can you please let go? You're hurting me."
  618. >You sounded like a sissy
  619. >She eased her grip and backed away from your face
  620. >She was carefully examining your eyes
  621. >"Why didn't you come and join me then?"
  622. "What?"
  623. >"Why didn't you come when I asked you to?"
  624. >You could've sworn she gave you the choice and didn't exactly tell you to join her
  625. "I just came to leave your clothes. Nothing more."
  626. >You expected her to continue pressing you with questions but she let go of you
  627. >"Fine. I'll be dressed to leave in a few minutes so get out of here."
  628. >You immediately exited the bathroom and shut the door
  629. >Something was off about her
  630. >All other times she didn't care if someone saw her changing
  631. >You thought this time she would change right in front of you without a worry
  632. >Maybe she really wanted you to hop in the shower with her, but it felt like it was something else
  633. >You turn to Aria who was already getting up to leave the apartment
  634. "Aria, wait."
  635. >She continued walking to the door
  636. >"What do you want now?"
  637. >You rushed up to keep up with her
  638. "Look, I'm sorry about what I did on the roof and . . ."
  639. >"Can you just not talk about that and forget about it?"
  640. >She grabbed her arm as if she were hurting
  641. "Ok, I'm sorry."
  642. >"Just leave that alone."
  643. >You took note of her saying 'that' instead of 'me'
  644. >You continued to follow her to the steps
  645. >"Aren't you gonna wait for Adagio?"
  646. >After that strange incident in the bathroom, you really didn't want to be left alone with her
  647. "I thought I'd go and start the truck, maybe bring it over to the front for you guys."
  648. >Aria stopped and looked at you with a shocked look
  649. >Almost as if she expected you to actually wait for Adagio
  650. >Something was going on
  651.
  652. "What's wrong?"
  653. >"Oh, um, I think I left something in your apartment."
  654. "Want me to help you look for it?"
  655. >"Nono, it's fine. You go and get the truck like you said. I'll be down with Adagio in a bit."
  656. >She rushed past you and headed back through the door
  657. >She looked sad just a second ago
  658. >Now she seemed worried about something else
  659. >The missing item was obviously a lie to get back to the apartment
  660. >Maybe she was planning to talk with Adagio about something she didn't want you to hear
  661. >You didn't want to mess things up further with Aria so you continued downstairs
  662. >Arriving to the ground floor, you see Sonata seemingly bobbing in place
  663. >"Oh Anon you're here. Are we ready to leave to this 'perfect place' yours?"
  664. "Not quite yet. Adagio is finishing up changing and Aria said she forgot something in the apartment."
  665. >"Adagio is such a slowpoke. I wonder what Aria forgot though."
  666. "Yeah, me too. You want to go wait with me in the truck until they come out?"
  667. >"Yeah, sure. Let's go."
  668. >She skipped out the door and you followed behind her to the truck
  669. >She stopped and waited patiently for you to unlock the doors
  670. >You opened your door and unlocked the rest from within
  671. >You thought it strange but Sonata decided to sit in the back seat again even though the front was free
  672. >You simply shrugged it off as either she likes the back or leaves the front for one of the others
  673. >You turned on the engine and drove around to the front of the building
  674. >You remained parked with the engine running waiting for the other girls
  675. >It wasn't long before you saw Adagio followed by Aria exiting the building
  676. >The next thing that happened seemed strange
  677. >Adagio got into the back seat with Sonata and Aria got in the front seat
  678. >"Alright then, get this thing moving will you."
  679. >'What happened in there?'
  680. >You couldn't come up with an answer so you simply put the truck in drive and drove towards their new safe haven
  681.
  682. >The entire ride you felt like asking one of them what was going on and took note that chill and warmth weren't present
  683. >In the end you decided against it and kept it to yourself
  684. >The trip was silent until the motel finally came into view
  685. "Well girls, this is the place."
  686. >You could see Sonata pressing her face against the window while Adagio moved up in her seat to get a view from the front
  687. >Aria viewed it with a bored expression
  688. >"A motel? That's your safe place?"
  689. >Adagio's remark would have usually cause a chill inside you but you remained leveled
  690. "Yeah. Its much better in quality than my room at the apartment and I also happen to work here."
  691. >You pulled into the parking lot and stopped the car
  692. >"It looks fine."
  693. >Aria's comment created a warmth inside you
  694. "You girls wait here while I go and get the keys to your room."
  695. >You were lying
  696. >You didn't have the keys or the room for them yet
  697. >"You'll be close won't you?"
  698. >Adagio had worry in her voice
  699. "Yeah, I'm just gonna head to the little office right there and be right back."
  700. >"I mean while we stay here, will you be within reach of us?"
  701. >Her face was showing real worry
  702. >A warm answer was popping into your mind
  703. "I'll be nearby if you guys need me."
  704. >She gave you a smile and with it came greater warmth
  705. >You get out of the truck and head over to the small room near the end of the motel
  706. >Inside you see another coworker, Micheal, who works the early morning til the afternoon shift sitting behind the desk
  707. >You notice he's sleeping while holding a magazine to his stomach
  708. >This would prove getting rooms easy without anyone noticing
  709. >You quietly unlock the door on the side of the room and walk in
  710. >You look under the counter for the log holding all the names of people currently staying here
  711. >You skim through until you find a room with, if not three, then at least two beds
  712. >You get lucky and find a three bed room
  713. >Room 17
  714. >You grab a pen from the desk and fill in the blanks using a random alias
  715.
  716. >All the information was in order so you placed the pen and log back then grabbed the keys hanging on the back wall
  717. >You were in and out in with no problems
  718. >You hurried over to your truck and saw the girls waiting beside it
  719. >They must've gotten tired of waiting inside
  720. "Alright girls, I've got your keys now let me show you to your room."
  721. >You motion for them to follow and lead them up a set of stairs to the second floor
  722. >You stop in front of their room and unlock it for them
  723. >All three of them walk inside and began scanning the room
  724. >You followed inside, closing the door behind you
  725. >Sonata immediately jumped to the nearest bed and fell flat on it
  726. >Adagio went into the bathroom while Aria went continued into the kitchen
  727. >You followed behind Aria
  728. >"So, now we can cook for ourselves while we're here?"
  729. "Yeah and there's also a pool in the back for everyone that stays here."
  730. >"THERE'S A POOL!!!"
  731. >All three of them shouted all across the entire room
  732. >They must really like the sound of a pool
  733. "Yeah you can get to from the back of kitchen."
  734. >All three of rushed up to you with ecstatic faces, waiting for you to show them
  735. >It seemed like a possible reaction from Sonata and maybe Adagio, but from Aria it felt out of character
  736. >She and Adagio took a second to calm themselves while Sonata kept the same reaction
  737. "It's right through here."
  738. >You showed them a glass door that led behind the motel
  739. >You slide it open and they dash out
  740. >They start drooling at the sight of the pool down below
  741. >You don't know anyone who'd get this excited about a pool but thought it was kinda charming on them
  742. >It felt kind of good seeing Aria without a grumpy face
  743. >You look below as well and see some of the other tenants hanging near or in the pool
  744. >You're surprised they don't seem to mind this many people being around
  745. >Adagio comes over and grabs you by your arm
  746. >"We need to go and buy bathing suits. Now."
  747.
  748. >You swallowed hard at the mention of bathing suit as it started to plant images of each one of them half naked in your brain
  749. >Adagio didn't wait for any response as she dragged you back into the room and the other two followed close behind
  750. >Past the kitchen and past the beds, she dragged you back out the front door
  751. >She finally let go of you and gave you a chance to collect yourself
  752. >"Where's the nearest clothing store around here?"
  753. "Well the closest would be down at the mall . . ."
  754. >"Great, takes us there then."
  755. "Now?"
  756. >"Yes!"
  757. "But we haven't even ate anything yet."
  758. >"He's right. Can't we eat first?"
  759. >Good, you got Sonata on your side
  760. >"Gah, fine! There should be a food court at the mall, I'd assume, so we can eat there."
  761. >"Yay! I hope they have tacos there."
  762. >Adagio and Aria just rolled their eyes at her comments
  763. >They walked towards the stairs with you and Sonata in tow
  764. >You couldn't help but notice them whispering to each other
  765. >You couldn't make out what they were saying
  766. >"Anon, are you gonna buy a swim suit?"
  767. >You weren't able to concentrate on them as Sonata started to speak with you
  768. "I wasn't planning on it."
  769. >"Aww, come on. Why not? You can come swim with us."
  770. "I'm not really the swimming type. I could always put on a pair of shorts and hang at the edge."
  771. >"Man, how boring."
  772. >She put on an adorable pouty face
  773. >The four of you reach the vehicle and hop in
  774. >Starting it up, you pull out and drive onto the road
  775.
