Expiry: Never

  1. Request: Comfy, Cute, and Dates
  2.
  3. >"You're such a homebody."
  4. >A familiar laugh echoes out from the kitchen.
  5. >Sprawled out on the sofa, you make a show of scratching yourself for nobody, force a yawn, and call right back.
  6. "All I said was that once you've been to a couple night clubs, you've been to them all."
  7. >Waving your hand in small, lazy circles and continue your halfhearted tirade.
  8. "I mean really, everyone's bumping and grinding, drinking and shoving God knows what up their-"
  9. >"Hey!"
  10. >Walking out with a bowl of popcorn, Sunset Shimmer cocks a fist on her hip.
  11. "What? I was going to say noses."
  12. >The redhead gives a muffled snort, quickly coughing afterwards in an attempt to cover up the unladylike sound.
  13. >Gathering her wits, she cocks a smile.
  14. >"Sure you were."
  15. >And strolls over to the couch.
  16. >Closing one of your eyes, you do your best to appear disinterested, but it's hard to deny that even in lounging clothes, Sunset looks great.
  17. >Full length, form fitting yoga pants sit snugly around a slim waist and an almost outlandish pair of hips.
  18. >Every movement she makes is emphasized by the stretchy and only just-yielding-enough fabric.
  19. >You're pretty sure you can even make out her panty line, in fact, is that the lacy number you bought her last Valentine's Day?
  20. >Oh Sunset, you devil you...
  21. >While the girl's bottom half is her best feature, she's no slouch up top either.
  22. >The sleeveless tank flows in a steady, smooth line until it cuts off just above her navel.
  23. >It dips teasingly under the hem of the fabric as Sunset rolls her hips, but always settles comfortably back into view.
  24. >About the only real hiccup in the flowing fabric is her chest which, while not enormous, is more than comfortable enough to rest in your hands.
  25. >And, yes, that is the one you picked out for her.
  26. >She wants-
  27. >"Hey."
  28. >The suddenly stern Sunset says.
  29. >You raise an eyebrow.
  30. >With a smirk, she bends at the waist and does her absolute best to put her cleavage near your face.
  31. >"Quit ogling me."
  32.
  33.
  34. "But you make it so difficult."
  35. >Making a show of waving your hand again, you end up reaching into her bowl and take out a handful of popcorn.
  36. >"Hey!"
  37. >Crunching away on the kernels, you grin at her.
  38. >With a small huff, she rolls her eyes and prods you with her foot.
  39. >"Whatever. Scooch."
  40. "Nah."
  41. >The two of you lock eyes, and you can see the gears whirring in her head.
  42. >The obvious response, and the one you hope she'll go with, is the girly threat of 'I'll sit on you'.
  43. >Quietly, you hope, you pray, that she'll throw that onto the table so that you can give your okay and watch her get embarrassed.
  44. >Or, better still, take you up on it.
  45. >There are worse ways to spend a night than with Sunset Shimmer on top of you.
  46. >Oh, that's good, now you really hope she gets flustered so you can break that one out.
  47. >But, instead, Sunset places the popcorn bowl in front of you.
  48. >This is a new trick.
  49. >Glancing between her and the offering, you see her smiling that smug smile that promises she has something in store.
  50. >You're not sure you like it.
  51. >But she doesn't react as you reach out to take more popcorn.
  52. >So you do it again.
  53. >And again.
  54. >Until, a few handfuls in, you realize that you have a powerful thirst.
  55. >Reaching out to the end table, you grab your drink.
  56. >You grab your dr-
  57. >You gr-
  58. >Seriously, what the hell?
  59. >Sparing a look towards your wayward drink, you see that it's disappeared.
  60. >A slight clinking sound in front of you draws your attention back to Sunset.
  61. >She's smirking, holding the bottle out in front of her.
  62. >"Oh, are we thirsty now?"
  63. "Yeah."
  64. >You flex your fingers and watch as the redhead's expression falls a little.
  65. >"You're not even going to ask politely? That's very rude."
  66. >Oh, so that's how she wants to play it?
  67. >Scowling, you reach again.
  68. "Drink, please."
  69. >Sunset holds the bottle out to you, but as you get close she pulls it back out of reach.
  70. >She's smirking again.
  71. >The official results are in: this is not a fun game.
  72.
  73.
  74. >"Poor boy."
  75. >She chides with a small laugh.
  76. >"Don't you want it?"
  77. >Of course you want it.
  78. >And you're going to get it!
  79. >You stumble forward off the couch and move towards the redhead.
  80. >She gives a delighted laugh, sprinting away and back to the kitchen.
  81. >Naturally, you give chase.
  82. >And, of course, you end up positioned on opposite sides of the table, staring each other down in a battle of wills.
  83. >Sure, you could go to the icebox and pull out another drink.
  84. >That would be easy and put a stop to things real quick.
  85. >But she took your drink.
  86. >There's principle to be upheld.
  87. >She feints right and you take half a step before she tries to cut left, but you're already there.
  88. >The strange, almost bird like bobbing and weaving continues for a few seconds more before you clear your throat.
  89. "You know, you could just give me my drink."
  90. >"And you could have just moved your butt, but you chose to be difficult. So look where we are now."
  91. "Two wrongs don't make a right."
  92. >Sunset gives a small grunt of agreement before standing up straight.
  93. >Staring into your eyes for a long moment, the redhead places your bottle on the edge of the table.
  94. >Then, she turns and walks away from it.
  95. >You don't waste any time, hurrying around and grabbing your drink.
  96. >Even with all the running and being in her palm for the last three minutes, it's still wonderfully chilly.
  97. >And then, a thought occurs.
  98. >Why did she give up so easily?
  99. >Especially when there's principle at stake?
  100. >"Hey!"
  101. >A plaintive cry comes from the living room.
  102. >Walking out of the kitchen, you see Sunset spread out across the entire length of the couch.
  103. >Placing her head on the armrest, she flashes you a smile and lifts an empty bowl.
  104. >"You spilled the popcorn. Make some more."
  105. >Oh.
  106. >That tricky girl.
  107. >Grumbling to yourself, you whip up another bowl of popcorn and grab yourself a second drink after you finish the first.
  108. >Storming out to the couch, you see Sunset lazily popping a few pieces of-
  109.
  110.
  111. "Is that floor-popcorn?"
  112. >The redhead glances up at you.
  113. >"...Maybe?"
  114. "That's really gross."
  115. >Then, with perfect deadpan, the lazy girl fires back.
  116. >"It's also carpeted. You have something against eating carpet?"
  117. >Your immediate response dies in your mouth as you see her green eyes twinkle.
  118. >It's gross.
  119. >Really gross.
  120. >But she's got you on that one.
  121. >You let the topic drop and swat her hand as she reaches for more floor-corn.
  122. >Not bothering to tell her to move, you simply lift her feet and drop them in your lap after you take a seat.
  123. >For extra revenge, you place the bowl on top of her ankles, well out of her reach.
  124. >Sunset gives you a rather cold look, which you ignore.
  125. "So, what are we watching tonight?"
  126. >"It's called "The Bullet Man", or something like that; supposed to be really bizarre. Pop me."
  127. >As Sunset pushes play, she turns her head towards you and opens her mouth.
  128. >Is she serious right now?
  129. >After all that?
  130. >But, you pick up the bowl anyway.
  131. >Sunset's mouth widens expectantly, her eyes disappearing behind her smile.
  132. >She never sees it coming.
  133. >SWAT!
  134. >With a girlish yelp, the redhead kicks her legs in the air, her hands immediately flying to her suddenly sore backside.
  135. >Eyes wide in surprise and mouth slack, she looks over at you, too stunned to speak.
  136. "One pop."
  137. >You say in your flattest voice before flicking a kernel of popcorn into your mouth.
  138. "Just like you requested."
  139. >A slow smile spreads across Sunset's face.
  140. >"You... jerk."
  141. >Laughing, she shifts her body and squirms towards you.
  142. >A stiff punch in the arm in your punishment, but after a few rounds of playful back and forth prodding, Sunset's head collapses onto your shoulder.
  143. >As you slouch against the arm of the couch, the redhead spoons up against you.
  144. >It's hardly comfortable, and the slightest twitching could send her sprawling to the floor.
  145. >But in this moment, you don't really want to move.
  146.
  147.
  148. >The film rolls on, largely forgotten unless the protagonist starts screaming in pain or grief, the two of you instead focused on each others' company.
  149. >She's in charge of popcorn.
  150. >You make sure she's got her drink when she wants it.
  151. >And before long, the only sound in your ears, is the steady, warm heartbeat of the girl pressed firmly up against your chest.
  152. >Leaning up to her ear, you whisper quietly
  153. "You don't get this as Sandra's Slut Shack."
  154. >Casting a green eye your way, Sunset smirks and nods.
  155. >"Yeah, I know."
  156. >Now who's the homebody...?
  157.
  158.
  159.
  160. >"You can't be serious."
  161. >Staring at Sunset for a long moment, you bob your head twice.
  162. "I'm seriously serious."
  163. >The redhead's forehead wrinkles gently, as though she were trying to figure out if you're lying or not.
  164. >You aren't.
  165. >She doesn't seem to be getting that.
  166. >After a moment, she shakes her head and gives a small laugh.
  167. >"Okay, I get it, it's a joke."
  168. >It's not a joke.
  169. >But she keeps going anyway.
  170. >"I say I want to go have some fun, and you agree, and then you bring me out here for a laugh."
  171. "No, if you remember I also said to wear comfortable clothes, because this is where we’re going."
  172. >Sunset's face goes red as she twists from one side to the other.
  173. >"These are comfortable!"
  174. >Well, you can't deny they're cozy looking.
  175. >The hem of her evergreen skirt cuts off just above the knees, snug but not form fitting.
  176. >It does show off her butt though...
  177. >Likewise her top is a worn out looking purple affair with a beaten up sun decal.
  178. >She's probably had that thing since high school, and the fabric is so worn out at the stitching, it looks like it might tear at any moment.
  179. >But the fact that she can still fit into that top is really-
  180. >"Ahem."
  181. >You look up and see Sunset staring at you.
  182. "Yeah, you look great."
  183. >"But you could have told me we were coming out here; I could have worn pants!"
  184. >Turning over your shoulder, you let your eyes roam the empty playground.
  185. >The sun is beginning to set, so all the kids have already headed home for the night.
  186. >But the lights will still be on for an hour or two yet.
  187. "Yeah, I could have. But where's the fun in that?"
  188. >Huffing, the redhead looks away and crosses her arms under her chest.
  189. >With a short laugh, you roll your eyes and walk over to her.
  190. >Sliding an arm around her waist and motioning to the playground with the other, you smirk.
  191. "Oh come on, when was the last time you were on one of these things? It's got to be tw-"
  192. >You gulp as Sunset shots you a stern glare.
  193.
  194. >Sunset is usually very accommodating.
  195. >But in this instance, you should probably watch your words carefully; one wrong step and you could end up picking playground mulch out of your teeth.
  196. >And that's if you're lucky.
  197. "A-About a decade, right?"
  198. >A sly smile slips across Sunset's lips as she shakes her head.
  199. >"You goof."
  200. >Turning her attention to the structure, she frowns a little and shrugs.
  201. >"Actually, I've never been on one of these before."
  202. >Wait.
  203. >What?
  204. >You grab Sunset by the shoulders and give her a firm shake.
  205. >The redhead yelps, her eyes wide as she grunts
  206. >"What? What did I say?"
  207. "You've never even been on a playground before? What kind of authoritarian despotism did you grow up in where fun isn't allowed?"
  208. >"I, I didn't say that."
  209. >Sunset gives a brief laugh, moving closer and wrapping her arms around your waist.
  210. >"Just, back where I'm from, they don't usually build them this big. And, I was more of a book and practical sort of ma-uh, girl."
  211. >She's red in the face again.
  212. >Oh, she's embarrassed.
  213. >Well that's cute.
  214. >Bringing one of your hands around to her face, you touch the tip of your index finger against the tip of her nose and say the most affectionate term of endearment you can come up with.
  215. "Nerd."
  216. >Sunset's jaw drops and you slip out of her grip.
  217. >Grinning from ear to ear, you hop onto one of the platforms nearby and cup your hands over your mouth.
  218. "Didn't you hear me? I called you a NERD!"
  219. >Slowly, the girl smiles again and begins to move after you.
  220. >With a quick reach, you pull yourself up onto the hanging bars and begin to swing your way across the open space below.
  221. >There's a girlish grunt and a sudden shaking as Sunset grabs onto the monkey bars behind you.
  222. >A quick glance back confirms that she's ready enough for the chase.
  223. >The crossing is easy enough, but navigating through the much smaller twists and turns of the play structure proves to be difficult.
  224. >Who knew that kids half your size were so small?
  225. >Wait...
  226.
  227. >Setting that thought aside, you wrestle your shoulders out of their confines and scamper up to higher ground.
  228. >Despite her huge hips, the smaller Sunset isn't having nearly as much trouble as you did, and you can already hear the familiar clomping sounds of her boots approaching.
  229. >Desperate for escape, you hurry up to the top of the structure, only to find that, aside from going back the way you just came and running into Sunset, there's only one way down.
  230. >Well, two, actually; you could launch yourself over the wall and hope that you don't hit the ground too hard.
  231. >But the non-cheating way down is the slide!
  232. >As you approach the plastic tube, you can almost feel the static electricity setting your hair on end.
  233. >Tromp, tromp tromp!
  234. >"Ah ha!"
  235. >Sunset grins as she comes around the corner.
  236. >She makes a show of cracking her knuckles.
  237. >"Now you're going to see what this 'nerd' is capable of, 'dork'."
  238. "...Dork?"
  239. >You stifle a laugh and place your hand on the launching bar.
  240. "Much as I'd like to stick around and see that, I'm afraid you're too late. You see, your mistake was challenging me, the slide champion. Ta-ta, dear."
  241. >Hopping up off the ground, you swing yourself into the tube.
  242. >The world goes dark, save for the mouth of the slide, and you see Sunset peek in before it vanishes entirely.
  243. >Round and round you feel yourself spin, suddenly considering that this might not have been the best idea.
  244. >This thought is further cemented when, just as the light at the end of the tunnel comes into view, you squeak to a stop.
  245. >Kids must secrete a mucus or something out of the seat of their pants that makes them into sliding machines, because once you grow up, it dries up.
  246. >And so do your slide skills.
  247. >You scamper your way down the last bit of the tube, eager to put both feet back on the ground.
  248. >But as you're passing the lip, you hear a shout and a woosh.
  249. >And then feel a pair of heavy boots collide with your backside.
  250.
  251. >Sunset is not an especially hefty girl.
  252. >But moving at the speed she was and with all her weight behind it, the crash sends you flying out of the tube and back-first onto the mulch.
  253. >The world spins for several seconds, but the accompanying silence is quickly broken by a peal of laughter.
  254. >Sunset's squeal echoes up the plastic tube and, as you look back, she kicks her legs into the air in a delighted fit of the giggles.
  255. >Flopping back onto the lip of the slide, she chuckles for a while longer, deep, throaty and breathless.
  256. >Speaking of breathless, between the slide and her erratic movements, you have a nice upskirt look at her panties.
  257. >Dark blue boyshorts; pretty cute.
  258. >Cute enough to stay quiet and just enjoy the view.
  259. >After several moments of catching her breath, Sunset pops up from the slide and struts over to you.
  260. >Towering several feet high now, she squats down and places her generous backside on your middle.
  261. >"So, after all that bravado, I've finally caught you."
  262. >Picking up a piece of mulch, she smiles slyly, dragging it gently along your neck and prodding at your cheeks with it.
  263. >"Now the question is, what am I going to do with you?"
  264. >A very good question, one that sends your heart pounding.
  265. "Well, you know, this is a public place, so-"
  266. >"Shh."
  267. >Sunset presses the mulch to your lips.
  268. >"Prisoner doesn't get to talk unless I say so."
  269. >Forcing you to your feet, the redhead pulls you along through the playground, until you reach the swing set.
  270. >Your heart leaps for a moment at the prospect of getting some serious air, but Sunset instead takes a right and pushes you into an oversized heavy machinery tire.
  271. >It wobbles under your weight, and you very nearly fall through the center, but after situating yourself you find that it's actually quite comfortable.
  272.
  273. >Held horizontally in place by a long length of vertical chain, the tire swing it wobbles about in small, lazy circles.
  274. >Circles which increase slightly as Sunset hops on, positioning herself close to you.
  275. >Together, the two of you stare up into the gathering gloom of night, watching as the stars pop into being.
  276. >After several long moments, you glance over at Sunset.
  277. "For a girl who's never been on a playground before, you sure could have fooled me."
  278. >"I already told you, it's different."
  279. >She gives a gentle laugh and slides a hand under your shirt.
  280. >"You're still twitching."
  281. "Yeah, being a kid is harder than I thought."
  282. >With a noncommittal grunt, Sunset falls quiet.
  283. >What thoughts are running through her head, you wonder?
  284. >Despite knowing Sunset Shimmer for years, she's not very talkative about anything that happened to her before high school.
  285. >And she's always policing what her friends say about that too, at least whenever you're around.
  286. >She's a really weird girl.
  287. >But as her lips press against your neck, you can't help but hold her a little closer, reveling in the sensation.
  288. >Weird, yeah, but she's your weird girl.
  289. >So the two of you remain in the tire swing, until the lights themselves go out.
  290. >And under the stars, hand in hand, you start the walk back home.
