                                            "I'm open to dating Shining Armor. I mean, I can't promise anything, but it's not like I'm repulsed by boys, I've just never been interested. However, it comes with a condition on you, a quid pro quo for my efforts."

                                            > Twilight is pretty baffled by what you're saying, as if she can't figure out where you're coming from.

                                            "You see, Twilight, you're the girl I've been crushing on, and here you come to me with this thinly-veiled suggestion for me to be your surrogate in your incestuous fantasies. I could be insulted... or I could be smart. There's a win-win scenario here for both of us."

                                            "If that was all, I'd agree. But I'm offering something more for you. I'll embrace being your substitute. After every date with Shining Armor, I'll show you exactly what he did to me, by doing it to you."

                                            > "But how is that fair to Shining Armor? You'll be unfaithful to him."

                                            > Her interest is piqued, there's just a few hurdles to clear.

                                            "You said it yourself, we're very similar. He might get used to the idea of being with you by being with me. It's a long-term plan, but it might work. You'll have to do some seduction on your own as well, and I'll probably have to drop hints and suggestions to open him up to the idea."

                                            > "But why would you want to do that, Moon Dancer? If you have a crush on me, why would you want me and Shining to be together as well?"

                                            "First and foremost is incentive for you to keep up this arrangement, possibly for a long time. Secondly, because I want you to be happy and I think this will make you happier in the end. Thirdly, because I'd feel less guilt about two-timing this way. Fourthly... because apparently I find the idea of you having sex with your brother incredibly erotic."

                                            > You had a basic grasp of Shining Armor's looks from the pictures in the hallway. Handsome, muscular, tall.

                                            > Still, it's more the idea of the taboo that's arousing to you than the image that your mind conjures of him nude, pressing against Twilight who's wrapped her legs around his waist.

                                            "Because if you could, you already would have. You're scared of failing and messing everything up, as is natural. You're also at a disadvantage, as you have to overcome 16 years of Shining Armor only thinking of you as his sister. That will take time, and you have a deadline that's only months away. I'm undoubtedly your best bet. Do we have a deal?"

                                            "Then I'm demanding a small payment in advance. You're my secret girlfriend from now on, and I want a kiss to seal the deal."

                                            > "Agreed, but anything more will be on a commission basis. You'll get what you can get from Shining Armor."


                                            > Your first kiss with Twilight was exactly what you'd thought it would be.

                                            > You gaze at him seductively and take on a sultry tone.

                                            "We were talking about boys, of course."

                                            > It was true, even. A lot of what Twilight had been sharing with you had been the things she liked about Shining Armor.

                                            > Somehow, this seems to have short-circuited his brain.

                                            > "Twily's talking about boys? But... she's too young to think about boys!"

                                            > An opportunity! Time to go on the attack.


                                            "You know, Twilight and I are 16, a prime age to start dating... and more. You might not want to admit it, but your little Twilight is a big girl now."

                                            > He's spluttering, unable to deny the unwelcome truth you're telling him.

                                            > Time to hit him with a second blow while he's still reeling.

                                            "Twilight is a real catch, too. Beautiful, smart, passionate. She already has admirers, and now that she's starting to open up a bit, she'll probably get more."

                                            > Well, she had an admirer in you, at least.

                                            "It probably won't be long until you're not the only guy in her life, Shining Armor."

                                            > You were looking closely, and there was the slightest reaction there in his eyes.

                                            > Maybe this won't be so difficult as you thought.

                                            "Besides, I'm sure you had crushes when you were our age, isn't that right?"

                                            > He gets a goofy grin on his face for an instant, most likely from thinking about Dean Cadance.
