  6. >You grunt as you fall back onto the large couch in Twilight's study, closing your eyes in the process.

  9. >It was also a time for a certain human to clean up for lazy purple princess after a Hearthswarming Eve party.

  12. >You both had taken on the task of cleaning up the castle after Twilight's lazy ass.
  13. >Spike had been of little use, as he helped for a grand total of 10 minutes; then promptly fell asleep while carrying plates.

  15. "You tired?" You ask the pink mare.
  16. >"Yeah, I'm beat. Magic helps, but walking back and forth gets pretty tiring."
  17. >As if to emphasize her point, she lets out a cute little yawn, covering her mouth with her hoof.
  18. >She then turns her head to look at the roaring fire that you had set up while cleaning up the study.
  19. >You too turn to the fire, but eventually find your gaze drifting back towards the unicorn seated just an arms length away from you.
  20. >For a while you knew that you had a minor crush on Glimmy; but you became very aware that you liked her more then just a friend in the past few months.
  21. >You continued to stare at her form, lit up from the light from the fire; taking in more details.

  37. >You both chuckle, and just stare at each other for a few seconds.

  39. >Suddenly she went from sitting next to you to sitting on your lap.
  40. >It took a few seconds, but you realized she was hugging you.
  41. >As unexpected as it was, you weren't gonna complain at a time like this.
  42. >You return the hug, wrapping you arms around the mare's warm body.
  43. >Slowly, you run one hand up and down her back; taking in the softness of her coat.
  44. >The hug lasted for what felt like hours as you both took in each others warmth.
  45. >She finally broke the hug and looked at you, smiling.
  46. >Her face was so close to yours. All you had to do was move a few inches forward and you lips would meet.
  47. >Before you finished that thought, she moved off you and leaned up against your side.
  48. >Taking your arm, you bring it around the pony and bring her closer to you.
  49. >Starlight responded by also leaning into you more, the top of her head brushing up under your chin.
  50. >She stops moving and let out a long contempt sigh.
  51. >You both stayed that way for a while, with your arm around her still.
  52. >As time passed you wondered why Glim had suddenly started being this affectionate towards you.
  53. >It wasn't because you didn't like it, this was a very welcome change.
  54. >But Starlight had never shown any indication that she saw you as more then just a friend.
  55. >Sure, you both hung out a lot and were pretty much best friends, but those were things friends did.
  56. >Sighing, you close you eyes and let you head fall back onto the top of the couch.
  57. >Starlight wasn't exactly the best at dealing with her emotions however.
  58. >You had heard the story.
  59. >Best friend left her, she became an edgy teenager, started a communist cult, tried to destroy Equestria, etc.
  60. >You remember when she told you about it, she genuinely thought you were going to stop being her friend because of what she had done.
  61. >It had been a pretty big shock to you, but up until that point she had shown you nothing but kindness.
  62. >Starlight had even been the one to find you passed out in a field when you ended up in horseland.
  63. >Even if it was a jarring revelation, at that point your feelings towards her had already cemented themselves in your mind.
  64. >No way were you going to cut off your friendship with her because of some shit that happened before you even showed up.
  65. >After that your friendship had only grown stronger.
  66. >And now, months later, here you were.
  67. >Cuddling with the pony that nearly dominated your thoughts.
  68. >Slowly you open your eyes and stare at the ceiling.
  69. >Something was hanging off the banners that stretched across the room.
  70. >You studied it for a few seconds, then immediately getting with the realization of what it was.

  73. >A goddamn Mistletoe hung just a few feet over your head.
  74. >You knew that it hadn't been there when you got here, as you dedicated a large portion of your time taking all the ones that Twilight had set up a few days prior.
  75. "Oh." You said out loud.
  76. >Wait, shit.
  77. >Now Starlight was gonna look up and see it too.
  78. >Was that really a bad thing though?
  79. >"What's wrong Ano-"
  80. >She stopped talking and looked at you.
  81. >Because of how close you both were sitting, you were now touching noses with Starlight.
  82. >The softness of the hair on her muzzle tickled the tip of your nose.
  83. >Her big, beautiful eyes were trained on yours.
  84. >Time seemed to stand still as you both stared into each other.
  85. >Well, it was now or never.
  86. >In one fluid motion, you tilted your head to the side and brought your lips to hers.
  87. >She tensed up for a moment, her eyes opening wide.
  88. >Shit, maybe you had gone too far.
  89. >The thought melted away however as she sighed into you and relaxed, closing her eyes.
  90. >You too closed your eyes and continued the kiss.
  91. >It wasn't long before you felt Glimmy's tongue prodding your lips, asking for entry.
  92. >You were more then happy to oblige, as you opened your mouth and let her explore to her hearts content.
  93. >You began to run your hands up and down her body again, running one through her mane.
  94. >God it was so soft and smooth.
  95. >The other hand started to grope at her flesh, getting lower and lower.
  96. >For a moment you feared maybe you were going too far, but Glimmer's moans following your advances put that thought to rest.
  97. >You finally grabbed her rump, the soft flesh conforming to your fingers.
  98. >She let out a long moan into you as she kissed you more vigorously.
  99. >You weren't exactly sure how long your make out session had lasted, but it felt too short by the time she slowly pushed herself off from you, breaking the kiss.

  101. "That was.. amazing" you say between your heavy breathing.
  102. >Starlight says nothing, instead opting to give you another surprise hug.

  104. >After about a minute she pulls away and looks at you, taking one of her hooves and resting it in the palm of your hand.

  108. >She trailed off, looking away from you and making circles on you chest with her free hoof.
  109. >You give her hoof a reassuring squeeze, hoping she continues.
  110. >She sighs and shuts her eyes, staying like that for a few seconds.
  111. >Opening them again, she looks at you and utters those three words you only dreamed of her saying.

  113. >She surprises you with a deep and passionate kiss.
  114. >You let the kiss run it's course, separating after another minute.
  115. >Taking a hand, you slowly bring it up to her cheek.
  116. >Glim almost involuntarily nuzzles into it.

  120. >Chuckling, you caress her cheek with your hand.

  124. >Once again shutting your eyes, you lean back and relax.
  125. >Even though you loved Equestria, something had always felt missing.
  126. >You assumed that it was just homesickness and nothing more.
  127. >But now, after what had just happened, you knew what it was.
  128. >You were missing someone to love.
  129. >And finally, right here, you had just that.
