"Now where did she go?"
-
>As you're peering around the table, some movement from the candy bowl catches your eye.
-
>*muffled sounds of distress*
-
"Oh."
-
>You push aside the top lair and find Concerned Pony looking up at you.
-
"Having fun?"
-
>"Anon, I'm so glad you found me! I'm not sure how much longer I would've lasted."
-
>Though she says that, her face is still the usual look of concern.
-
"How'd this even happen?"
-
>"I was looking through the candy and accidentally fell in."
-
"You fell?"
-
>"Yes."
-
>Clint Eastwood.png
-
>"Okay fine, I wanted to see what it would be like to be smothered by love."
-
>Smiling, you rest your chin on your hand.
-
"You could've just asked you know."
-
>"That's different, I thought the candy was made with love."
-
"...more like chalk..."
-
>"What was that?"
-
"Nothing."
-
>"Can you get me out please? I'm not sure I can stand another minute in here."
-
"Yeah, one sec."
-
>Reaching in, you pluck her effortlessly from the bowl and set her next to it.
-
>"Much better, thanks."
-
"You're welcome, but next time ask before you go exploring the depths of the candy bowl."
-
>"Oh ha ha, so funny..."
-

>From how long she's been looking out that window, it has you curious.
-
"Something interesting going on out there?"
-
>She turns her attention to you, still wearing that concerned expression as usual.
-
>"Nothing too much, just watching a family of robins by the bird feeder."
-
"Oh cool, didn't expect them back so soon."
-
>"That's because spring came early this year."
-
"True."
-
>Getting up from the couch, you join her by the window.
-
>She points to the bird feeder in the yard, "See?"
-
“Yeah I do, guess when I go to the store later, I’ll pick up some seeds to refill it.”
-
>"Can I come?"
-
>Her voice betrays her expression, but you're certain she would like the car ride.
-
"Of course you can-"
-
>"Woohoo!"
-
"-but you're still going to have to ride in the car seat."
-
>"Aw come on, Anon."
-
"Them's the rules, you know that."
-
>"Please..."
-
"Did you forget what happened last time we tried that?"
-
>"It will be different this time, I promise!"
-
"I don't know..."
-
>Concerned Pony grabs onto your shirt, "Please please please!"
-
>Darn this little horse, she always manages to make you crack too easily.
-
>Sighing, you're probably going to regret this later.
-
"Fine..."
-
>"Yay!"
-
"But if you fall in-between the seats again you're going back to riding in the car seat."
-
>"Like I said before, I promise it won't happen again."
-
"Gonna hold you to that."
-
>She nods rapidly, drawing a smile across your face.
-
>With that settled, the both of you go back to bird watching.
-

-
>It’s cool spring afternoon, sun is shining, birds are singing.
-
>Overall, it’s a beautiful day.
-
>And you’re currently spending it inside, going through threads on a Mongolian horse whispering forum.
-
>Despite that, things are starting to feel a bit boring.
-
>Only one thing can remedy this growing problem.
-
>Digging through your folders, you find the perfect picture for such an occasion.
-
>With it and a few words, you reply to a random post.
-
>thefirerises.jpg
-
>Just as expected, it ignites a rage similar to a tendy deprived autist.
-
>Feeling satisfied from your efforts, you sit back and smile at the resulting fall out.
-
>Another day, another shit post made, such is the life of being Anonymous.
-
>”Anon, help me!”
-
>Your current funzies will have to wait though.
-
“Huh?”
-
>Quickly tearing your attention away, you look around the room in haste.
-
>As your eyes search about, you don’t seem to spot her anywhere.
-
“Uh, where are you?”
-
>”Up here, hurry!”
-
>Following the source, you’re finally able to see her little powder blue form.
-
>You nearly do a double take in the process, she’s in the last place you least expected.
-
>The top of the bookshelves.
-
“What the – how’d you even get up there?”
-
>She waves her hooves about frantically, “Just help me down, I’m scared!”
-
>This is one of those rare times that her expression fits the situation perfectly.
-
>There is no time to joke around however, she needs your help and fast.
-
>You get up from your chair and rush over to her.
-
>Just one problem though, the top of the shelf is just out of your reach.
-
>Curse your manlet status!
-
>”Anon what are you doing?!”
-
“Alright, stay calm and don’t move, I’ll go get something to help out.”
-
>”Please hurry!” She squeaks out from the top.
-
>Nodding, you dart off into the kitchen and grab a stepping stool before returning back.
-
“I’m back, be right there, just hold on.”
-
-
>She lets out another squeak as you say that.
-
>Thankfully, you get to the top (albeit a little shaky) and see her at last.
-
>Concerned Pony is huddled against the wall, shaking like a little chihuahua.
-
“I’m right here, just give me a sec to get to you.”
-
>Giving a reassuring smile, you hold your hand to her.
-
>Still shaking, her eyes remain glued to you and doesn’t move from the wall.
-
>After waiting for several seconds, you motion to her.
-
“What are you waiting for? Hop on, I got you.”
-
>At that, she somehow shrinks further back and mumbles something out.
-
“Sorry what?”
-
>Her voice is barely above a whisper as she replies, ”...I’m too scared to move…”
-
>Oh for the love of…
-
>Gotta be patient with her Anon, she is a little pony after all.
-
>Keeping your composure, you gingerly pick her up and bring her close to your chest.
-
>The second she makes contact, she clings to you like a child, shivering all the while.
-
>Slowly, you return to the safety of the floor with her.
-
“It’s alright, I’m here, you’re safe.”
-
>She mumbles something unintelligible into your shirt.
-
>Not much more can be done till she calms down.
-
>Until then, you go sit on the couch with her.
-
>You stroke her little braided mane, causing her to shudder briefly.
-
“Shh… it’s okay.”
-
>While you continue your gentle care to her, you see several notifications pop up on the screen.
-
>No doubt it’s more replies from the butthurt you caused.
-
>Well at least you’re far from bored anymore.
-
>You look back to Concerned Pony and see she is starting to finally relax a little.
-
>She slowly looks up at you, still wearing her ever permanent expression.
-
“Feeling better?”
-
>”Mhm, th-thank you for rescuing me.”
-
>Smiling, you nod.
-
“Anytime.”
-
>For a time, the two of you sit there in silence.
-
>However, the nagging question returns to the front of your mind, begging to be answered.
-
“So mind telling me how you got up there?”
-
>Without missing a beat she states, ”I climbed.”
-
“You climbed?”
-
-
>She nods slowly like it’s something completely normal for her.
-
>As you continue to look at her, you frown.
-
“Okay enough joking, how did you do it, seriously?”
-
>”I’m not joking, I told you how I did it.”
-
“That doesn’t make any sense, I can’t even see a way /you/ could even climb up that thing.”
-
>Pulling back from your shirt, she points to the top of the shelf.
-
>”I didn’t climb up the side, I climbed along the wire to reach it.”
-
>As you’re trying to follow what she’s saying, you now notice it.
-
>The wire you run along the wall for your speakers.
-
>”See what I’m talking about now?”
-
“Huh… well yeah, now I do.”
-
>Nodding contentedly, she goes back to laying on your chest.
-
>Though as you two return to the comfort of silence, more questions bubble to the surface.
-
>Ones that you can’t but help to ask.
-
“If you’re so afraid of heights, why’d you even go up there?”
-
>Sighing, she shifts a little before answering.
-
>”I wanted to overlook the entire room from the highest place I could reach.”
-
“Fair enough, though you could have asked me for help first.”
-
>”I would’ve, but I wanted to try it on my own since I ask for your help in so many other things.”
-
>Nodding, you go back to stroking her little mane, causing her to let out a sigh of contentment.
-
“I’m guessing you didn’t expect to get stuck?”
-
>”Mhm…”
-
>As she says that, a couple more notifications pop up, but you ignore them.
-
>Taking a slow deep breath in; out, you look back down to her.
-
>She looks so cute laying there.
-
>It draws a large smile across your face.
-
“Well at least you learned your lesson, didn’t you.”
-
>She doesn’t say anything, remaining silent instead.
-
>Odd.
-
>You adjust yourself somewhat to get a better look at her face.
-
>That’s when you notice her eyes are closed.
-
“Did you fall asleep?”
-
>”Zzz…”
-
>Chuckling, you shake your head slowly.
-
“Should’ve figured that would tire you out, oh well.”
-
>Today’s another wonderful day, one you share with Concerned Pony.
