                                            >He sanded it so smooth that there would never be a single splinter

                                            >Finally he stained it with thick shellac so it would last forever

                                            >Then he hung it up to dry, hopefully for a long time


                                            >Not so long, it turned out

                                            >One day Little Miss Bossy crossed the line, backtalking her mother brazenly

                                            >Dad knew it was time to step things up

                                            >A bit worse than Mom's mane brush or his own hoof

                                            >It broke his heart but she was old enough now

                                            >In a few years Sweetie Belle was old enough to earn her own trip to the wood shed

                                            >One day, when Rarity was still a teenager living at home the sisters had a revelation

                                            >They noticed the wood of the dock

                                            >They made the connection

                                            >It was the same wood

                                            >All of a sudden sitting on it gave both of them an odd, uncomfortable, squirmy feeling...
