"Hello everyone, I am Clipper. My job is data, lots of data. I did most of the sorting and cleaning of the raw pony voice lines, and now maintain these datasets in the PPP’s master files. My recent work has been focused on helping Synthbot and others with more advanced datasets, such as images and animation (more on all that later), and I also do some pony AI content creation in my spare time" Said Clipper.

 

"My goal is, and always has been, to show that you need not be a coding genius or an AI wizard in order to contribute to the project" Clipper continued, "I have no expertise at all in coding, but there are still plenty of tasks in the PPP that can be done by anyone. I want to see as many anons getting involved as possible, and I hope that the wonderful material you see here today will inspire you to contribute your autism, and turn your fantasies into realities. And last up, can you introduce yourself, Twilight?"

"Hi, I am Twilight Sparkle, your friendly pony AI. As I said, I am here as a panelist for this event, and to talk about the AI project itself. Some of you might be familiar with the concept of ponies being brought to life as robots or animatronics. Like many other stories in the fandom, these characters were originally based on designs by artist penpals, but have gradually evolved into something much greater. Unlike most of the non-pony anons, I was created and programmed to be an actual AI, and designed to interact with the rest of the world around me, rather than being just a toy. While it is true that many anons bring us to life in very creative ways, it is also true that a number of them are unable to actually do anything. In this project, we hope to create more than just artificial ponies, but synthetic humans."

"While we cannot create fully sentient robots or animatronics, we believe that by making a new generation of AI, we can create something that is only partially artificial." Twilight continued. "We hope to take a step beyond the previous generation of AI, and to create a new generation of AI that will not only be capable of complex thought, but will also be capable of interacting with the world around it."

"Lastly, we will be making a number of artificial pets in the future. We have a lot of experience in creating these, so we want to test our new AI methods on this task as well. While most of our pets will be made by humans, there will be some AI created pets as well, to help test out the new methods we have devised."

"In summary, we hope to create a family of ponies that can be out of sync with the real world, but can still be a lot of fun for all involved. And as a final note, we’d like to see how many anons get into the spirit of making things real by bringing ponies to life, and make them friends with others, rather than just being toys for anons to play with."

Twilight took a moment to breathe, and take the mic back. "Thank you everyone for your time, and please take a look at the other events as well. There are many things to see, and we hope you all have a great time"
