The Day Off


                                            >The sun shined through the curtains onto Thunderlane's face as he laid in the embrace of a light blue pegasus named Soarin, slowly causing him to wake up.

                                            >"Mmmfngh..."

                                            >The grey stallion groaned as he tried to block the sunlight with a hoof as he was pulled from his dreams.

                                            >The light blue pegasus behind him, still fast asleep pulled the gray pegasus stallion closer with his hooves wrapped around his barrel, nuzzling into the back of his neck.

                                            >Thunderlane chuckled quickly and blushed, looking back at Soarin with a warm gaze.

                                            "Mmm, morning hun~"

                                            >The grey pegasus whispered to his lover in a soft tone of voice, causing him to stir a bit and slowly open his eyes.

                                            "Shhhhh, I'm comfy~"

                                            >Soarin replied in a worn out voice as he pressed himself closer to Thunderlane, closing his eyes again.

                                            >Thunderlane chuckled a bit and rolled over onto his side so he could face Soarin, the two stared at each other for a brief moment before Thunderlane leaned forward and gently kissed Soarin on the lips.

                                            "I'm gonna go make us some breakfast, alright hun?"

                                            >The grey stallion whispered to Soarin with a smile, Soarin simply nodded and closed his eyes again.

                                            "Love you...~"

                                            >Soarin said quietly before drifting back to sleep, without missing a beat Thunderlane scooted out of bed and placed his hooves down on the carpeted floor of the bedroom and slowly trotted out into the kitchen, trying to be as quiet as possible in order to not wake his lover.

                                            "Waffles, haybacon and eggs... Sounds good."

                                            >Thunderlane quietly mused to himself as he got out the ingredients and untensils needed and immediately got to work preparing the batter for the waffles while a few pieces of haybacon sizzled in a pan on the oven.

                                            >About 30 minutes passed until everything was done, Thunderlane made a plate with a few pieces of haybacon, eggs and a waffle on it and carried it into the bedroom on a tray

                                            "Hey hun, since we both have today off I figured I'd make us breakfast"

                                            >Thunderlane said with a smile as he propped up the tray on the bed, Soarin gave him a tired smile and rubbed his eyes with a hoof.

                                            "God, it's no wonder I fell so hard for you."

                                            >Soarin said with a chuckle before beginning to scarf down the meal before him hungrily.

                                            >Thunderlane sat down on the bed next to Soarin and smiled a bit as he watched his lover eat the breakfast he'd made specifically for him.

                                            "Anything planned for today?"

                                            >Thunderlane inquired as he turned his head to face Soarin, he finished eating after a few minutes.

                                            "Not really, just was planning on spending the day with you~"

                                            >Soarin said with a smirk as he wrapped a wing around Thunderlane and pulled him in close, causing Thunderlane to blush deeply.

                                            "Sounds like a plan to me~"

                                            >Thunderlane replied as he pulled the light blue stallion into a passionate kiss.
