  5. >You always contemplated the silly things
  6. >It wasn't easy fitting in, nor was it fun to fail
  7. >Did people like you?
  8. >Did you like yourself?
  9. >All these things are small and mellow-dramatic
  10. >It only bothered you now because...You're now the new kid in town
  11. >Getting a new job in Canterlot, your father moved you and your mother
  12. >You dread this
  13. >Being the new face always sucked for you
  14. >Besides, you're gonna miss the few friends you had in your old town
  15. >Your new home isn't so bad
  16. >Bigger room, more yard space
  17. >You hope the school won't be bad
  18. >Your mom and dad do their best to reassure you that this will be for the best
  19. >Hopefully they're right
  20. >After a long day of moving in your things, it's dinner time
  21. >Sitting in your new kitchen, you dine on some spaghetti
  22. >Your father speaks up
  23.
  24. >"Settled in?" he asks you
  25.
  26. "I'm fine, just trying to sink in the fact we moved"
  27.
  28. >"It'll get better, just you wait son"
  29.
  30. "Thanks dad, I'll try to get used to it"
  31.
  32. >"Maybe you'll make some new friends dear" your mother chimes in
  33.
  34. "Heh..yeah, maybe I will" you try to sound cheerful
  35.
  36. >Later, you help your mother with the dishes
  37. >Soon after, you retreat to your room
  38. >At least some things weren't different
  39. >Your new room was the same as your old room
  40. >Every poster position
  41. >Every nick-knack position
  42. >It feels relaxing to sit at your desk
  43. >Opening your laptop, you open a bottle of King-Kar lemon tea
  44. >You peek outside your window
  45. >Nothing but a beautiful view of your new home
  46. >Canterlot
  47. >Maybe this won't be so bad
  48. >You could try to make actual friends here
  49. >If not for yourself, you could do this for your parents
  50. >You sip your drink and browse the internet
  51. >Tomorrow was your first day at a new high school so you don't want to stay up too late
  52. >You mostly browse FaceSpace for the time being to see who lived in this town
  53. >There was a new photo on your FaceSpace wall
  54. >It was of your new home, and taken by your mother
  55. >She tagged you and hash tagged the town
  56. >Looking deeper into it, there's a page for Canterlot
  57. >You forward the image to the Canterlot page
  58. >Sitting back, you drink some more tea
  59.
  60. >*Bling*
  61.
  62. "Hmm?"
  63.
  64. >*Bling*
  65.
  66. >Leaning forward you look at your laptop
  67. >You have two new notifications
  68. >You open it
  69. >Some people liked the image on the page
  70. >Someone commented
  71. >Well now
  72. >These must be some of the people living here
  73. >A girl commented on the image
  74. >Some Pinkie Ponk or something like that
  75.
  76. >"Wow! New people! Like, you should totally hire me to throw you a welcoming party!!!1!1"
  77. read the comment
  78.
  79. >Clicking to reply, you let her know that'd be a swell idea in a joking kind of way
  80. >Less than 30 seconds after replying, you get another
  81.
  82. >*Bling*
  83.
  84. >"OMGOMGOMG! I can totally do it! I'll stop by tomorrow after I leave my school!" Pinkie commented after your reply
  85.
  86. >Welp, this can't be helped
  87. >With that, you closed your laptop and plopped on your bed
  88. >You fall into a blissful sleep
  89. >Tonight felt like no other night
  90. >It was as if a new start was in order
  91. >Something rang in your head as you slept
  92. >Don't be that damned shy kid from before
  93. >Be the guy who your friends would walk up to in school and say good morning
  94. >Be the guy who helps someone in need and is returned the favor
  95. >Be the guy who is loved
  96. >Be the guy who is counted on
  97. >Be that guy who didn't know the feel of no friends
  98. >Be cared for
  99. >Sorry frog, but that spaghetti went in your stomach and not on the floor
  100. >Then...there was peace
  101. >Like nothing before mattered
  102. >All you could see was darkness
  103.
  104. >*Brzzt* *Brzzt*
  105.
  106. "Huh?"
  107.
  108. >You opened an eye
  109. >Your phone's alarm was ringing
  110. >Fumbling a bit, you manage to shut it off
  111. >In an upright position, you sit up on the side of your bed
  112. >You rub your eyes as your door opens
  113.
  114. >"Hey son, ready for a new day?" You father stepped in
  115.
  116. >Those words shocked into your mind
  117. >A new day
  118.
  119. "Y-yeah...Yeah! I'm ready dad!" you say excited
  120.
  121. >"I'm glad son, now hurry and get ready, your mother made breakfast, I gotta head to work, it's a new day for me too"
  122.
  123. "Thanks dad, see you later"
  124.
  125. >You freshen yourself up in your bathroom
  126. >With lots of time to spare, you get dressed
  127. >It wasn't a funeral, so you settled with a normal tee-shirt, hoodie, and jeans
  128. >You grab your bag and head downstairs
  129. >The smell of eggs and bacon filled the kitchen
  130. >Sweet, nothing like a good breakfast for a good morning
  131. >Like a wolf, you scarf down that bacon
  132.
  133. >"Whoa there, it's not gonna run away from you" Your mother chuckled
  134.
  135. "Sorry mom" you say
  136.
  137. >"It's fine, you just have a good day at school today, okay dear?" She says as she pinches your cheek
  138.
  139. "Of course mom, thanks!"
  140.
  141. >You finish breakfast and head outside
  142. >There are only two high schools in town
  143. >You'll start going to the one a few blocks away
  144. >Canterlot High
  145. >Oh geez
  146. >You just remembered that Ponk girl might stop by today
  147. >Hopefully your mother is okay at home while you're at school
  148. >After a couple blocks, you see the school in the distance
  149. >Your stomach is full of anxiety
  150. >You don't know the first thing about making friends, what the hell were you thinking?
  151. >Oh..That's right
  152. >Your parents has done nothing but deal with you for your whole life
  153. >You're a lonely, weirdo
  154. >The few friends you had back at your old town weren't really friends but other losers
  155. >Sad thing is that you drifted from them because they were getting comfortable with others
  156. >You don't want to go home the same loser
  157. >You don't want to disappoint your mom and dad
  158. >If you succeed in this, then you'll actually have friends
  159. >Well, let's just hope tha-
  160.
  161. >"Oof!"
  162.
  163. "Whoa!"
  164.
  165. >You accidentally collided with someone
  166.
  167. >"Oops! I'm so sorry, I should've been more careful"
  168.
  169. >You bumped into a purple girl
  170. >She dropped a stack of books along with her
  171.
  172. "Oh no, It was my fault, I wasn't paying attention" you say
  173.
  174. >Like the gentleman your mother raised you to be, you pick up her books and give out your hand
  175.
  176. >"Thank you.." she says while taking your hand
  177.
  178. >You help her up and return her books
  179. >The both of you dust yourselves off
  180.
  181. "Again, sorry..um?"
  182.
  183. >"Twilight, I am Twilight Sparkle" She replies
  184.
  185. >Here goes nothing
  186. >You extend your hand out again
  187.
  188. "Hi there, I'm new around here"
  189. >Twilight shakes your hand and smiles
  190. >A great weight has been lifted
  191. >That went way better than you expected
  192. >Maybe this purple girl could be your first friend
  193.
  194. >"So you're new around here huh? When you move in?" She asks
  195.
  196. "Just yesterday, I didn't really get a chance to meet anyone since I spent most of the day unpacking"
  197.
  198. >"Well, Canterlot's a great place, friends all around" she informs you
  199.
  200. >Friends all around
  201. >Friends
  202. >Score
  203.
  204. >"Hello? New guy?"
  205.
  206. "Huh"
  207.
  208. >You were spacing out thinking about what she said that you didn't notice she was walking away
  209.
  210. >"I said that if you're going to Canterlot High, you could walk with me and I could show you around"
  211.
  212. >ThankTheKraut.avi
  213.
  214. "Oh, yeah, thanks"
  215.
  216. >The two of you trek forward to the large castle that is Canterlot High
  217. >Students are all shuffling into the little entrance
  218. >Good chunks of them were just hanging out by the large statue out front
  219. >You could already spot some people at the side of the school smoking
  220. >Whatever gets them through the day
  221. >As you walk on, Twilight informs you of the school
  222. >She tells you of its many fine elements that "outweigh" other high schools around the state
  223. >You learn of the sports that they play here
  224. >It sounds amazing that just one girl is captain of like every sports team
  225. >Twilight mostly rambles on about the principle and how she's not like any other you'll meet
  226. >She also mentions the assistant principle is the head principle's sister
  227. >Well then
  228. >You try to sound as convincing that you're not an introvert
  229. >She asks about yourself and your life
  230. >As cool as you can, you tell her that you used to play soccer but suck at it
  231. >She giggled at your honesty
  232. >You let her know right there that you're a geek
  233. >You play video games, know how to work technology, etc.
  234. >After a bit of talking, you change the subject to not bore her
  235.
  236. >"You know, it's fine if you're into those things, you don't have to be ashamed" she tells you
  237.
  238. >That tugged a heart string
  239. >All your life, you've been ashamed of yourself
  240. >It hurts to think about it, but that's why you have the internet
  241. >There you could escape reality
  242. >Twilight sees you lower head
  243.
  244. >"Oh..I'm sorry if I offended you" she apologizes
  245.
  246. "No, no, it's fine, thank you for your kindness, I just feel like I could be more than some nerd"
  247.
  248. >Twilight looked down this time
  249. >She looked like she was gonna kick the gravel
  250.
  251. >"You know, I felt like you too once" she started "I was just some bookworm with no friends other than her big brother"
  252.
  253. >She was opening up to you
  254.
  255. >"I thought that I would never make friends, so long as I was just...some nerd"
  256.
  257. >She took the words right from your mouth
  258. >You were feeling bad, having mentioned it
  259. >Then reassurance came
  260.
  261. >"But now is different, I made friends, and they helped through things, I now understand I'm much more than just a nerd!" Twilight was beaming
  262.
  263. >You felt so much better
  264. >This purple-skinned girl just made your morning
  265.
  266. >"Sorry for talking too much" she apologized
  267.
  268. "It's fine Twilight, thank you for opening up"
  269.
  270. >Twilight was smiling at you now
  271. >This is for you mom
  272.
  273. "Twilight, will you be my friend?"
  274.
  275. >"I accept"
  276.
  277. >Your stomach anxiety grew even larger now that you made your first friend
  278. >Maybe this could be a fun day for you
  279. >The two of you have reached the school
  280. >This is it
  281. >You know that making friends will not be easy
  282. >It hurt just to make friends with Twilight
  283. >But her can-do attitude was making you feel more comfortable
  284. >You both passed through crowds of people at the entrance
  285. >Your stomach was beginning to churn again around all these new people
  286. >Luckily, Twilight was by your side
  287. >Not wanting to look like a lost puppy, you give some space between Twilight and yourself
  288. >A couple glances came your way, but nothing extravagant
  289. >Avoid eye-contact is the best idea right now
  290. >Twilight was keeping quiet among the chatter of students passing through
  291. >You didn't want to pester her if she just didn't feel like exchanging further conversation
  292. >Man, this place is regal as fuck compared to your last high school
  293. >Red curtains around large, thin, glass windows?
  294. >It all seemed as though this place was taken from a kid's show
  295. >Twilight led you to a door which read "Principle's Office"
  296.
  297. >"Okay new guy, This is Principle Celestia's office, she'll give you your schedule and a school guide which comes with a small map of the school" said Twilight
  298.
  299. "A small map? Sure looks like I'm gonna need it"
  300.
  301. >"Don't be nervous, everyone was new at some point" she said as she rubbed your arm warmly
  302.
  303. >You could see how sincere she is being
  304.
  305. "Thanks Twilight, for introducing me here and such"
  306.
  307. >"It's no problem, now hurry before-"
  308.
  309. >*Brrriiiinnnggg*
  310.
  311. >"Oh shoot!" Twilight said in frustration "That's the morning bell, sorry I can't help you further for now, I gotta head to class, see you around!" she said while light jogging to her class
  312.
  313. >The nervousness was returning
  314. >In front of you lie your new fate
  315. >Let's hope you make a good impression
  316. >You open the door slowly but surely
  317. >No idea of what the principle was like
  318. >Twilight's description made her seem as though she were some kind of goddess
  319. >With the door open, you notice a beautiful dame, sitting at her desk, writing things away
  320. >She glances up at you before lifting her head up to look
  321. >At first she had a moment of thought, then she smiled
  322.
  323. >"You must be the new student"
  324.
  325. "Um..Yeah.." you say still unsure of things
  326.
  327. >"You don't have to be afraid young one, I won't bite" she said with a slight giggle "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Principle Celestia"
  328.
  329. >She stood up from her desk
  330. >The first thing to catch your eye is her height
  331. >She is much, much taller than you
  332. >Principle Celestia's height intimidated you a bit
  333. >Your head was up to par with her chest
  334. >It felt weird
  335.
  336. >"Please have a seat" she said as she motioned you to the chair in front of her desk
  337.
  338. >You sit down, with the fear of throwing up
  339. >Principle Celestia made her way next to you, which because of her height and you sitting down, made you feel even more short
  340. >She placed a hand down on your shoulder
  341. >It felt...comfortable
  342.
  343. >"I'd like to personally welcome you to Canterlot High and hope that your time here in this school, is the best one yet"
  344.
  345. "Thank you Principle Celestia" you spoke as you peered up to her beside you
  346.
  347. >Principle Celestia moved to her desk and pulled out a few things from a drawer underneath
  348. >The contents she pulled out was a student planner, a small map of the school (Thanks Twilight) and a student guidelines sheet
  349.
  350. >"Now, please take good care of these things," she started "They're key to helping you get used to things around here, read over them, and apply them" she said with a chipper voice
  351.
  352. "Thank you, Principle"
  353.
  354. >"Also, here is your schedule, you'll be needing it" she handed it to you
  355.
  356. >You skimmed it a bit as she sat back down in her desk
  357. >Six classes, two breaks, one lunch period
  358. >Your first period class was a "Ms. Cheerilee"
  359. >Principle made it very clear that in order to graduate high school, you'd need to make all eight credits for the classes
  360. >There were also set criteria for the school system
  361. >Students would need one Gym credit, 3 Math credits, and 3 Language/Reading credits
  362. >Fair enough
  363.
  364. >"Now, if you ever have any concerns, questions....anything, please just let me know" she began "If anyone however is bullying you, or you find discomfort or know anything that could be a threat to anyone here, let the assistant principle know, her office is next door"
  365.
  366. "Thank you for all the info. Principle Celestia"
  367.
  368. >"It is no problem, now you'd better hurry to first period, you're already late"
  369.
  370. >With that, you get up to leave
  371. >As you begin to open he door, Principle Celestia speaks up
  372.
  373. >"Oh, and one more thing," she starts
  374.
  375. >You look over to her
  376.
  377. >"Good luck out there" she says reassuringly
  378.
  379. >You nod and walk out
  380. >Taking out your schedule, you trek on to your first period class
  381. >Here it is
  382. >So far, so good
  383. >Made a new friend, nothing is wrong with the principle, aside from her unusual height, nothing can get worse right?
  384. >Opening the door, you already feel it
  385. >Fuck
  386. >Fuck, you hate that feeling
  387. >That burning sensation of wandering eyes
  388. >You already know everyone in the class is staring you down
  389. >Why was it this way with schools?
  390. >You slowly step inside
  391. >There was your teacher, Ms. Cheerilee
  392.
  393. >"Oh, hello dear! Come on in, you must be the new student" Ms. Cheerilee presented to the class
  394.
  395. "Uh, yeah, that's me hehe.." you try to say with ease
  396.
  397. >You already can hear the murmuring of students
  398. >Fuuuuuuck
  399. >Just try to tune it out
  400. >Ms. Cheerilee spoke up
  401.
  402. >"Well, I am Ms. Cheerilee, is there anything about yourself you'd like to say to the class?"
  403.
  404. "Um..I'm new" you say trying to avoid being the center of attention
  405.
  406. >"Oh c'mon dear, just something a little more specific" she was prodding
  407.
  408. "Well...I can sort of play soccer, but I'm not that good"
  409.
  410. >What the hell was that?
  411. >Soccer? Really?
  412. >Well, it could've been worse
  413. >You could've spilled spaghetti on the floor
  414. >Ms. Cheerilee stepped up in front of you and faced the class
  415.
  416. >"Okay class, it appears we have a new student! Why don't you all have give a nice warm welcome to our new friend!" said Ms. Cheerilee
  417.
  418. >The class gave out a robotic "Hello, welcome"
  419. >They sounded more bored than the time your internet went out
  420. >At least no one threw you papers or made fun of your appearance
  421. >The feeling of faces looking at you has yet to leave
  422. >Ms. Cheerilee went over to her desk and gestured you to follow
  423. >She pulled out a form from her desk
  424. >It was a syllabus
  425.
  426. >"Okay, you need to fill this out and have your parents sign it, it also has the list of materials you'll be needing for this class" she informed you
  427. >Pretty basic stuff for starting a new class
  428.
  429. >"Well, if there's anything you need, please feel free to come check me, I'll always be here during class time, and breaks, except for lunch"
  430.
  431. "Thank you Ms. Cheerilee"
  432.
  433. >"Oh, and as of today, you'll be sitting on that empty desk at the back next to Apple Jack"
  434. >You look over to the seat she was referring to
  435. >There you see it
  436. >Next to the empty desk was quite the sight
  437. >A beautiful, bodacious might you add, girl sit there
  438. >She was fiddling with her pencil, looking like she was having a hard time
  439. >You take a moment to admire her
  440. >She has golden locks, that are nearly as bright as the sun outside
  441. >You spot a small amount of freckles on those plush, cheeks
  442. >This girl was dressed like a cowgirl
  443. >She was wearing a denim skirt, with a white blouse to match
  444. >Her leathery, brown boots were crossed with each other, indicating she was sort of bored
  445. >If all of this wasn't enough, she was wearing a ranch hat
  446. >That's new
  447. >First a purple skinned, bookworm
  448. >Now a southern girl, dressed from head to toe ready to do the hoedown
  449. >You're already sweating in your hoodie, and the room is air-conditioned right now
  450. >You walk over to your desk
  451. >You could feel a bit of stares, but it died down a little
  452. >Taking a seat, you meekly look over to the doll right next to you
  453. >Her desk was to your left
  454. >Not wanting to seem nosy, you only take a quick peep
  455. >Huh?
  456. >You look a little again
  457. >From where you're sitting, it seems as though she's doodling nothings on her paper
  458. >Stick figures
  459. >Apple Jack takes notice
  460. >She turns her head to you
  461. >Oh shit
  462. >You're in for it now
  463.
  464. >"Well, Howdy there partner!" She speaks lending out a hand
  465.
  466. >Wut
  467. >Oh lord her accent
  468. >It's like hearing a girl who has a lot of air passage through her mouth
  469. >It's fucking beautiful
  470. >You raise your hand to meet hers
  471. >She takes it gradually
  472. >Her grip on your hand is so tender
  473. >You can tell she does a lot of labor
  474. >If anything, the firmness of it makes you jealous
  475.
  476. >"I'm Apple Jack" she announces to you
  477.
  478. "Heh..like the cereal?" you say trying to break the ice
  479.
  480. >"Erm..Sure, so you're the new kid"
  481.
  482. "Mhmm, just moved in yesterday"
  483.
  484. >"Well I sure hope ya'll are havin' a mighty fine time here in Canterlot"
  485.
  486. "I hope so"
  487.
  488. >You get a better view of what she was writing
  489. >There were some questions written down
  490. >The answers didn't really make sense to you
  491. >Explain WWII
  492. >Her answer was "So there were some folk who messed up bad, and they got angry, so they put down that Firtle Land guy, and everyone got mad?"
  493. >The second question was How do you feel about The Great Depression
  494. >Her answer was "I get all depressed a lot of times, I try to pick myself back up though, sorry if this isn't the right answer you were looking for miss, I'm not too bright when it comes to these things"
  495. >Sadpuppy.exe
  496. >Your heart just sank
  497. >Now you just feel really bad
  498. >AppleJack sees this
  499. >Suddenly, you shoot your eyes back up to her
  500. >She knows
  501. >You know
  502. >She knows you know
  503.
  504. >"Uh..heh, guess you saw that huh?" AppleJack says
  505.
  506. "Y-yeah..sorry for looking" you apologize
  507.
  508. >"It's fine, ah know I'm not the best when it comes to these ol' books, but at least I know it's good enough to get a passing grade"
  509.
  510. >As messed up as it sounds, you're surprised she's passing
  511. >If her answers are like that on everything else, how the hell is she passing?
  512. >Ms. Cheerilee speaks up
  513.
  514. >"Okay class, turn in your worksheets, finished or not," she looks at you "And of course you'll be excused for the day"
  515.
  516. >Sweet
  517. >Everyone, including AppleJack get up to turn in their work
  518. >You take notice that AppleJack looks a little more concerned
  519. >When she turns her work in, she gives Ms. Cheerilee an "Ahm Sorry" look
  520. >Ms. Cheerilee just gives her a smile
  521. >AppleJack returns to her desk
  522. >Well sheeeit
  523.
  524. >"Ah've got a pretty good feeling 'bout this one" she says confidently
  525.
  526. "No doubt in my mind..hehe"
  527.
  528. >Soon, you're prompted with the rest of the class to copy down notes
  529. >As some time passes by, you look at your watch
  530. >Based on your schedule, there should only be a few minutes left for class
  531. >Miss Cheerilee starts writing down things on the chalk board
  532.
  533. >"Okay class," she speaks "As of today, you will partner up with one other person, and together, complete this class project"
  534.
  535. >Damn
  536. >No one's gonna want to partner up with you
  537. >You already see people exchange greetings and partnering up
  538. >It seems now would be a good time to lay down your head
  539. >Sorry mom, one friend seems like enough for today
  540. >Someone taps on your shoulder
  541. >Looking up reveals it to be AppleJack
  542.
  543. >"Hey, wanna be partners?" she asks you
  544.
  545. >Huh?
  546. >Why was she asking you?
  547.
  548. "Um..Wouldn't you prefer to be with some of your friends?" you ask
  549.
  550. >"Oh c'mon new guy, ah won't bite ya, you need a partner if you're gonna pass this"
  551.
  552. >She has a point
  553.
  554. "Well..okay then, let's be partners"
  555.
  556. >"Now that's more like it!"
  557.
  558. >Just as son as those words left AppleJack's mouth, the bell rung
  559.
  560. >*BRRIIIINGGG*
  561.
  562. >"Okay class, tomorrow I'll give you the project information for you and your partners" said Miss Cheerilee
  563.
  564. >You pack up your things and get ready to leave
  565. >Ms. Cheerilee stops you as the other students leave class
  566. >She gives you a grin that looks forced
  567.
  568. "Uhh...is everything okay miss?"
  569.
  570. >"Everything is just fine," she cleared her throat "ahem, now I don't want to pressure you since it's your first day, but I couldn't help but notice that you're partnered up with AppleJack"
  571.
  572. "Uh-huh, so what's the problem?" you ask
  573.
  574. >"There's no problem, but AppleJack, is..well she isn't the smartest of students"
  575.
  576. "But so far she's been getting good grades"
  577.
  578. >You look down at her desk, to see the worksheets the class did before you entered
  579. >You notice AppleJack got a 78%
  580.
  581. "What about her work?"
  582.
  583. >"Well..AJ is one of the nicest students you will ever meet around here, even though she's not too far when it comes to academics, she certainly does not lack in friendship
  584.
  585. >This triggers you
  586. >An opportunity is opening
  587.
  588. "Okay..so what do you suppose I do?"
  589.
  590. >"I've looked over your file, and it seems that you're a pretty smart kid"
  591.
  592. "Heh..my reputation precedes me"
  593.
  594. >What fucking reputation? That you're a nerd?
  595.
  596. >"Anyways, Just please don't hurt her, or get annoyed with her, AJ is slow, but if you give her time, she'll start to understand, and if you play your cards right, she could be a good friend to you" she states
  597.
  598. >Good friend
  599. >AppleJack certainly wasn't mean to you
  600. >Why should you be annoyed with a nice person like her
  601.
  602. "I understand Ms. Cheerilee, you can count on me!" you assure her
  603.
  604. >"Thank you very kindly, just get used to her southern acts okay? Now you'd better hurry along, it's first break, take the chance to look around and talk to people"
  605.
  606. *Gulp* "Okay miss, thank you"
  607.
  608. >With that, you see yourself out of the room
  609. >Phew
  610. >You just gotta help AppleJack
  611. >She just needs a little nudge and she'll be writing essays like there's no tomorrow
  612. >It's first break, now where do you go?
  613. >A common urge reaches you
  614. >You need to take a leak
  615. >Perusing the area, you try to find the restroom
  616. >A moment of thought reminds you
  617. >You have a map
  618. >Ah! Found it
  619. >Making your way to the restroom, a few people bump into you
  620. >Some people whisper to each other while pointing at you
  621. >This isn't helping
  622. >You take your trip to the restroom to look around
  623. >There are vending machines scattered around this school
  624. >Lots and lots of new faces
  625. >It's gonna take some time to get used to the regalness of this school
  626. >If you didn't know any better, you'd say this were a private school
  627. >You notice some blue girl stuffing a little doggy bag full of what looks like..peanut butter crackers?
  628. >She was rambling on about something
  629. >Among the chatter, all you could hear her say was something like "I'm the late and sour-ful kid's cereal"
  630. >Weird
  631. >You finally find the restroom
  632. >Stepping inside reveals three other students
  633. >Ohfuckmylife.png
  634. >Someone is getting bullied
  635. >A rambunctious hooligan dressed in a leather jacket, with blue hair was holding some kid by the collar
  636. >A stock bully was also standing next to them
  637. >Well shit, it's just your first day
  638. >The two bullies notice you
  639.
  640. >"Hey, hurry and do your business and get out of here" the sonic looking faggot said
  641.
  642. "Uh.." you don't know how to respond
  643.
  644. >"What? is your brain thick or something? I said scram!"
  645.
  646. >He drops the kid and makes his way towards you
  647. >He cocks his arm
  648. >You brace yourself for a punch
  649.
  650. >"Wait a second...you're new aren't you?"
  651.
  652. "Y-yeah.."
  653.
  654. >"Well consider this a welcome gift you punk!"
  655.
  656. >At that moment, he strikes you
  657. >It hurt like a bitch
  658. >Ain't that a bitch?
  659. >You fall over, a little woozy
  660. >Fuck this guy
  661. >You try to pick yourself up
  662.
  663. >"Hey boss, didn't you hear Luna talking with her sister about the new kid being some smarty when you was in her office?" the stock bully asks the other
  664.
  665. >"Oh yeah..You and me are gonna have a fun year new kid"
  666.
  667. >*BRRRIIINNNGG*
  668. >Saved by the bell...you think
  669. >The two bullies look at each other and scramble out of the restroom
  670. >Before you know it, the bullied kid leaves as well
  671. >Shit..you were hoping he'd help
  672. >Still stinging on the side of your face, you lift your body up
  673. >You take a look in the mirror
  674. >Oh fuck
  675. >That guy got you good
  676. >Now you have a cut on your cheek
  677. >For fuck sakes
  678. >It's your fist day here
  679. >You can't fight for shit
  680. >Sigh, now people are gonna think you're just a push-over
  681. >But they would be right....
  682. >Tears start forming around your eyes
  683. >You knew from the start this wasn't gonna be good for you
  684. >Why bother making new friends
  685. >Twilight was so nice to you
  686. >AppleJack is now your partner for class
  687. >But they don't know you
  688. >Twilight sort of has the right idea of you, but she's still far off
  689. >What good is living on, trying to get good grades, and making friends if in the end, that's all you'd be known for
  690. >Who's going to remember you for saving the world from dark magic while in a harem with two magicians
  691. >Who's gonna remember you for kissing your best friend the night before going on a trip with her
  692. >Who's gonna remember you for being a notorious racer or car tech. employee
  693. >So many others has done better than you
  694. >All you have to show is a messed up face on your first day
  695. >Whylive.jpeg
  696. >Might as well just keep on going until the day ends
  697. >You wash the cut, it's still bleeding but not as much
  698. >You pick up your things and leave the restroom
  699. >Guess getting your face messed tends to change your mind about using the restroom huh?
  700. >Hang in there, you've got spirit kid
  701. >A famous writer once said "Will update later"
  702. >Pulling out your map, you make way to your next class
  703. >The hallways are empty now
  704. >Sigh, now you're late
  705. >With a pep in your step, you make it
  706. >You just want today to end
  707. >Stepping into class reveals a slender-like man writing on the chalk board
  708. >He looks over to you
  709. >So does the class
  710. >Looking over him, you see he is palish grey, with cold, yellow eyes
  711. >He smiles at you
  712.
  713. >"You're the new student Miss Cheerilee has told me about? Aren't you?" the teacher asks
  714.
  715. "Um..I guess so" you say looking to the side, to avoid showing your new mark
  716.
  717. >"Well then, I am Mr. Discord, and I am your science teacher now, please, take a seat over there where it is free, and we can continue on our lesson"
  718.
  719. "Okay sir"
  720.
  721. >As you walk, Mr. Discord asks you a question
  722.
  723. >"My dear boy, at your old school, did they teach you about relationships?"
  724.
  725. "Like...chemical and molecular relationships? Yeah.." you answer
  726.
  727. >"No no, I mean, the relationship of everything, people, art, everything'
  728.
  729. >You're not sure how to respond to that
  730.
  731. "I..I guess not.."
  732.
  733. >"Hoo-hoo haha, then we're going to have lots of fun this year" he replies grinning
  734.
  735. >You take your seat
  736. >You hear a little whimper then look to the person sitting at the same science table as you
  737. >It's a girl
  738. >She looks unsure of you then tries to greet you
  739.
  740. >"H-hello..I..I'm Flutter..shy.."
  741.
  742. "I'm sorry, did you say Shutterfly?" you ask, unsure
  743.
  744. >"Um..sure..if that's what you want.."
  745.
  746. "Erm...I'm not correct am I?"
  747.
  748. >The girl meekly nods
  749.
  750. "Could you correct me?"
  751.
  752. >"It's um..it's Flutter..shy" she says once again trailing off
  753.
  754. "Fluttershy?"
  755.
  756. >"Mhmm.."
  757.
  758. >Well that was awkward as fuck
  759. >Not the whole name thing
  760. >The conversation itself
  761. >It's like she's afraid of you
  762. >The only people ever afraid of you were children
  763. >Apparently you're scary looking to them
  764. >The girl hides behind her bangs as you contemplate
  765. >Then you catch yourself
  766.
  767. "Oh...Um, Hello there..Fluttershy, It's a pleasure to meet you" you say
  768.
  769. >Maybe you could make another friend
  770. >Fluttershy comes out of hiding a bit
  771. >She raises her hand slowly
  772. >Her yellow sweater was big and poofy
  773. >It covered half her palm
  774. >You take the hand gradually
  775. >I think I used that word twice now
  776. >You look the lining of her sweater
  777. >It's not just one yellow
  778. >It's completely covered in different shades of yellow
  779. >You can't tell with the naked eye, but looking closely, it kind of looks like there's fifty shades of it
  780. >Why are you looking at the lining?
  781. >Her hand is so smooth
  782. >It's so soft
  783. >If anything, it's the complete opposite of AppleJack's
  784. >Even the fabric of her sweater is soft
  785. >Your hand feels so comfortable
  786. >It doesn't feel right to let go of the hand
  787. >But you have to
  788. >Oh well
  789. >You release her hand
  790.
  791. >"You should really copy down those notes...Mr. Discord is a very nice man, but he doesn't like failing students" Fluttershy informs you
  792.
  793. >You do so
  794. >Pulling out a notebook, specified for this class, you jot away
  795. >After a while of copying, you look over to Fluttershy
  796. >Wut
  797. >She's already finished with her notes
  798. >Dam Sung
  799. >She notices your staring
  800. >She turns over to you
  801. >Fluttershy then gasps
  802.
  803. >"Oh my.." she says worriedly
  804.
  805. "Hmm? Is something wrong?"
  806.
  807. >Maybe it was your damn staring, you lifeless geek
  808. >Fluttershy retreats to her bag
  809. >She pulls out a handkerchief
  810. >Whytho.png
  811. >Fluttershy then brings it to your face
  812. >She wipes willingly on your cheek
  813. >Huh?
  814. >This feels..good, but what's happening
  815.
  816. >"I'm so sorry, but I just noticed you have a gash at the side of your face" she starts "It's been bleeding"
  817.
  818. >Oh fuck
  819. >How long has it been going down?
  820. >You thought you washed it enough o it wouldn't bleed
  821. >That asshole must've gotten you good
  822. >You begin contemplating your life
  823. >It's only your first day
  824. >You cannot stress this enough
  825. >What the hell?
  826. >This is the type of shit that you see in the movies
  827. >The whole dull male main character
  828. >No chance with the ladies
  829. >New kid in school
  830. >Fight in the first day
  831. >Meets special girl characters who befriend him even though he's antisocial as fuck!
  832. >It's so....Old Fashioned
  833. >Now, there's a shy girl wiping your bloodied cheek
  834. >All because you didn't leave the restroom when that blue hedgehog, haired freak told you to
  835. >Well God damn
  836. >You just want to make friends so your parents won't feel like they failed you
  837. >Fuck you right?
  838. >You also just want to pass through the school year
  839. >Why can't you be more like your brother?
  840. >Did you mention you have a brother?
  841. >He's so much cooler than you
  842. >Popular in highschool
  843. >Had friends
  844. >Went to college
  845. >Joined the military
  846. >Now he writes you stories about his escapades serving the country
  847. >It sounds fun
  848. >Sigh
  849. >You look up at Fluttershy
  850.
  851. "Thank you very much" You try to smile
  852.
  853. >"Oh, it was no problem...how did this happen?" she asks you
  854.
  855. "I won't lie to you Fluttershy, some guy in the restroom socked me in the face"
  856.
  857. >Might as well come clean
  858.
  859. >"O-oh my...Maybe you should tell Vice Principal Luna"
  860.
  861. "I don't know what I'll do, I'll see about it later, for now, I'd like to get through with today"
  862.
  863. >Fluttershy takes her hand away from your face
  864. >She stuffs the blood soaked handkerchief into a little ziploc bag
  865. >You return to your notes
  866. >Suddenly, Mr. Discord yells out
  867.
  868. >"CLASS!"
  869.
  870. >This gets everyone's attention
  871.
  872. >"IF WE ARE ALL MADE OF CELLS, THEN WE ARE NEVER ALONE RIGHT?" the weird teacher asks
  873.
  874. >The class mumbles a bit before everyone agreeing
  875.
  876. >"SO, I FIGURE WE DO A PROJECT ABOUT OURSELVES AND HOW WE RELATE TO SCIENCE THROUGH CELLS"
  877.
  878. >The class just goes along with it
  879. >He then speaks up once more
  880.
  881. >"Oh-ho ho, also, I'd prefer i if you young cell masses were to pair up with another cellular mass"
  882.
  883. >At that moment, you slowly turn your head towards Fluttershy
  884. >She looks up at you
  885. >Your eyes meet
  886. >Fluttershy then gives you a weak smile
  887. "Wanna be...my cellular partner?" you ask
  888.
  889. >Muh spaghetti
  890. >Fluttershy's face shows a tinge of red
  891.
  892. >"That would be..nice" she replies
  893.
  894. >Mr. Discord writes down the project info. on the chalk board
  895. >Two projects in 1 day huh?
  896. >Fluttershy and you copy down the info. into your notebooks
  897. >Something hits you
  898. >Fluttershy seems really nice
  899. >Maybe you should ask her to be friends?
  900. >Hang out later?
  901. >That seems too forward, nevermind that
  902. >Why couldn't you be born with your brother's confidence?
  903. >It's too early to leave, and too late to back out of befriending Fluttershy
  904. >At that moment, Fluttershy and you knew that you'd be partners for this assignment
  905. >This day so far has been a spiral, and it's only second period
  906. >Taking a quick glance at your wristwatch, you notice class is nearly over
  907. >You take this bit of free time to look over the room
  908. >It seems like a normal classroom
  909. >Chemistry equipment in one area
  910. >Computers on another
  911. >Yeah, nothing out of the ordinary here, save for a few bizarre things
  912. >Mr. Discord's desk has some weird nick-knacks on it
  913. >There are six...ponies?
  914. >Why would he have six pony figurines on it?
  915. >Even more odd, three of the ponies have manes that horrifyingly resemble Twilight's. AppleJack's, and Fluttershy's hairstyles
  916. >Maybe that jerk hit you a little too hard
  917. >Another look to your watch
  918. >Just fifteen more minutes
  919. >Fluttershy was writing things onto her notebook
  920. >After what happened with AppleJack, you think it'd be best not to peek at Fluttershy's
  921. >You hear giggling coming from the front of the class
  922. >It's Mr. Discord
  923. >He's giggling at something on his laptop
  924. >Lord he's a weird fellow
  925. >He could make this year not boring for you though
  926. >Yet another look at your watch
  927. >Four minutes now
  928. >You pack up your things into your bag
  929. >Hiking up your hoodie sleeves, you stretch out
  930. >Boy what a first two classes
  931. >None of the material is hard at all
  932. >The drama building up however, might become problematic
  933. >You decide to shrug this off
  934. >Any minute now the bell sho-
  935.
  936. >*BRRRRIIIIIINNNGGG*
  937.
  938. >Ah, there it is
  939.
  940. >Mr. Discord stood up
  941.
  942. >"Alright class, good lesson today, don't forget about this "chaotic" assignment, and have a good lunch" he spoke
  943.
  944. >Fluttershy picked up her things
  945.
  946. >"It was nice meeting you...you should a-add me on..FaceSpace..for the project!" she said abruptly before leaving the class
  947.
  948. >Girls be cray
  949. >You make way for the door
  950. >Mr. Discord stops you
  951.
  952. >"I hope you'll settle in young man" said Mr. Discord
  953.
  954. "Of course sir, thank you"
  955.
  956. >"Oh and one more thing, I notice you speaking with Fluttershy"
  957.
  958. "Oh, yes, she's very nice and kind"
  959.
  960. >Where was this going?
  961.
  962. >"Just know young man, if you ever cross her the wrong way, I'll smash your hands"
  963.
  964. >Gulp
  965. >What?
  966. >Is he like her dad or something?
  967.
  968. "Y-yes sir" you say before finally leaving
  969.
  970. >You hear an audible laugh coming from the room
  971. >God what the hell is up with this place?
  972. >Lunch
  973. >You take out your phone and open the FaceSpace app
  974. >Going through your little notifications, you add Fluttershy
  975. >Almost immediately, she accepted your request
  976. >That was incredibly fast
  977. >You're not complaining
  978. >It feels gratifying to have new friends
  979. >Your cheek still stings but Fluttershy helped with that
  980. >This cut won't kill you so you decide to avoid going to the Nurse's office
  981. >Floods of students fill the hall
  982. >As you walk by, three Freshmen looking girls rush into you by accident
  983. >None of you fall thankfully
  984. >You didn't want to deal with the eyes of people staring at your fall
  985. >You can't imagine these girls would either
  986. >They apologize as they get ready to leave
  987.
  988. >"S'cuse me mister!" The red headed girl with the bow said as she went on
  989.
  990. >"Pardon me sir!" The powdered looking one said gracefully while she followed suit
  991.
  992. >The last girl who looked like a tom girl just stood there for a moment
  993. >You were shrugging as she stared at you
  994.
  995. >"Scootaloo!" yelled the red headed girl
  996.
  997. >Tom girl snapped back into reality as she booped your hip and ran off
  998. >What?
  999. >Ignoring that, you make way for lunch
1000. >Food does sound good right
  1001. >What a rush of a day so far
1002. >You pull out your map
1003. >It sort of feels funny having it
1004. >It makes you feel like the newbie more than it should
1005. >Everyone else is accustomed to the school so you're the only one peering down at your map
1006. >Aside from the Freshmen, except no one pays attention to them
1007. >Following the map, you head over to the cafeteria
1008. >A poster on the nearby wall indicates it's Taco Tuesday
  1009. >Oh boy
1010. >You step through the double doors
1011. >Rows and rows of lunch tables
  1012. >Lots of students here
  1013. >Makes sense since it's a public High school
1014. >Yet, it's all so well kept, and clean
1015. >You shake away from the school interior thoughts
1016. >The lines for lunch were forming
1017. >Yourself included in the line
1018. >So much chatter filled the cafeteria
1019. >None of it towards you
1020. >As you waited in the line, your eyes scanned the room
1021. >Nice lunch room, no litter
1022. >Best of all, the sun illuminated the room, rather than needing the use of lights
1023. >You tried not to look anyone directly, in fear of looking weird
1024. >Not only that, you tried to steer clear of that blue haired fag
1025. >Rubbing your cut, it dried up by now
1026. >Your sights are set upon an empty table by the large windows
1027. >Maybe when you're sat down, you can listen to some of your tunes
1028. >Grabbing a lunch tray, you ready to get some food
1029. >As you come up the line, you take notice of the lunch
  1030. >Regular tacos
  1031. >Wait a minute
1032. >These tacos look pretty damn good
  1033. >Crispy looking shells
1034. >Juicy, nicely colored ground beef
  1035. >They even have a topping bar
1036. >There's no fucking way this school has a normal fund system
  1037. >Maybe drugs are involved?
1038. >hehe..save the theories for later
  1039. >You get your taco
1040. >A feeling of emptiness fills you as you sit down alone at the table
1041. >Right next to your table at the wall was a vending machine
  1042. >You could go for a soda
1043. >Pulling out your wallet, you scramble for a couple quarters
1044. >Some choices cross your eyes
  1045. >ParaSprite
  1046. >Dr. Redheart
  1047. >Gypsi Cola
  1048. >....Water
1049. >You settle for some Coke
1050. >Sitting yourself down again, you pull out your phone
  1051. >Time for some music
1052. >Before you could even unlock your phone, an audible sound of trays slamming on the table ring your ears by surprise
1053. >Looking up reveals those three girls from earlier
1054. >The powdery looking one spoke up
  1055.
1056. >"Um, sorry sir, do you mind if we sit here?"
  1057.
1058. >She has an awful lot of mannerism
1059. >Don't girls her age by this point in time stay glued to their phones and scoff at any moment of courtesy?
1060. >These girls don't dress like girls today though
  1061. >They dress...kind of appropriate actually
1062. >You're also grateful that she asked, rather than just rudely take the table
  1063.
1064. "Not at all, please, have a seat" you say
  1065.
  1066. >The girl gave a warm smile
1067. >She and her friends sat down from across you
1068. >The interest you had in listening to your music, was now gone
1069. >Putting your phone away, you begin eating
1070. >That nagging feeling of stares return
1071. >The source was directed back to the tom girl looking one
1072. >The girl who booped you earlier
1073. >Looking up from your tray half-way to not look suspicious, there you saw her
  1074. >She hasn't even touched her taco
1075. >You could clearly see that she was looking at you
  1076. >It was uncomfortable
1077. >Maybe she was looking at your cut?
1078. >You feel your cheek to make sure the bleeding didn't continue
  1079. >Still dry
1080. >What was it on your face that she kept staring at?
1081. >Trying to concentrate on your taco, you overhear their conversation
  1082.
1083. >"Scootaloo" started the red headed one "Yer starin' again"
  1084.
  1085. >You recognize that accent
1086. >It reminds you of AppleJack
1087. >You suppose the tom girl's name is Scootaloo since that's what she was called twice now
  1088.
  1089. >"Huh?...OH!" Scootaloo gasped "M-my bad!"
  1090.
1091. >Peering up, you notice Scootaloo's face was flustered
1092. >Her skin color made her blush look purple
1093. >It doesn't seem like she meant any harm
  1094.
1095. "It's fine, don't worry about it" you say reassuringly
  1096.
1097. >"You'll have to excuse Scootaloo, she can space out sometimes hehe" spoke the powdered one
  1098.
1099. "No offense taken from it, I hope there's nothing wrong with my face heh"
  1100.
  1101. >Nice ice breaker
  1102.
1103. >"N-no..your face is great-" Scootaloo nervously musters
  1104.
1105. >Everyone at the table looked up
  1106.
  1107. "Umm..."
  1108.
  1109. >Visibly, Scootaloo was panicking
  1110.
  1111. >"I um...I mean..uh.."
  1112.
1113. >"What Scootaloo MEANT to say was..that there isn't a thing wrong with your face" powdery one tried to cover up
  1114.
1115. >"Y-yeah! She was probably lost in thought is all" the red headed one followed
  1116.
  1117. >Scootaloo gave a sigh of relief
1118. >The other two tried to smile innocently
1119. >You decide to go along with it
  1120. >These are Freshmen, it's quite obvious
1121. >They don't seem like the cruel teenage shits that most girls are today
1122. >Maybe you can entertain this
1123. >If it goes how you think it will, you won't end up with a another mark on your cheek
  1124. >Here goes nothing
1125. >Putting on a semi-confident look on your face, you speak up
  1126.
1127. "Oh, well I was about to say, your face is great too-"
  1128.
1129. >The girls stop dead in their movements
1130. >Before they could react, you finish your sentence
  1131.
1132. "-Scootaloo..Is it?" with a half smirk on your face
  1133.
1134. >On the outside, you looked casual and smooth
1135. >On the inside, you were spilling spaghetti for days
1136. >Your face was burning up
1137. >Why did you even say that?
  1138. >Suddenly, Scootaloo faints
  1139. >You didn't mean for that
1140. >The red head starts fanning Scootaloo with her hands
1141. >Powdery one speaks up again
  1142.
1143. >"Heh, sorry sir, I think Scootaloo's just smitten by you"
  1144.
  1145. >Smitten?
  1146. >By you?
1147. >You look around behind you
  1148. >They can't mean you
1149. >Maybe they have you confused with someone else
  1150. >You pinch yourself
  1151. >Not a weird ass dream
  1152. >WAIT THE HELL UP
1153. >DID YOU JUST CAUSE A FRESHMEN TO FAINT
1154. >No one has attacked you yet
1155. >These girls don't look like they're gonna slap you
  1156. >Geez
1157. >This wouldn't be so weird for you if you weren't some introvert
  1158. >Powder speaks again
  1159.
1160. >"Uh anyways, I'm Sweetiebelle" she introduces herself
  1161.
1162. >She motions towards the redhead
  1163.
1164. "This Applebloom, and well I guess you already know this is Scootaloo"
  1165.
1166. >This isn't as bad as you thought it would be
  1167.
1168. "It's a pleasure to meet you!" you say extending your hand
  1169.
  1170. >Sweetiebelle takes your hand
  1171. >Hers is so soft
  1172. >So smooth
1173. >You love the way her hands feel
1174. >Shame you have to let go
  1175. >It'd be too weird
  1176. >Pulling away, you smile
1177. >Now that you've been aquainted, you continue on your taco
  1178. >Hang on a second
  1179.
1180. "Wait, so you're Applebloom?" you ask
  1181.
1182. >"That's right pardner!" Applebloom answers before taking a bite out of her taco
  1183.
1184. "So..are you by any chance related to Applejack?"
  1185.
  1186. >Applebloom lit up for a second
  1187.
1188. >"That's mah sister! Do you know 'er?"
  1189.
1190. "Haha, yeah, I just met her today in class, I'm new here actually"
  1191.
1192. >"You're new!? So that means none of us are familiar with this place!" Sweetiebelle pipes up
  1193.
1194. >"Hey, yeah! We could all work together as a team" spoke Applebloom
  1195.
  1196. >A team?
  1197. >What do they mean?
  1198. >Sweetiebelle continued
  1199.
1200. >"Applebloom, Scootaloo, and I have formed a group in elementary called The Crusaders"
  1201.
  1202. >The Crusaders?
  1203. >Now that's just adorable
  1204.
1205. >"So whaddya say Mister, wanna be apart of The Crusaders?" Applebloom offers
  1206.
1207. >You feel that this day has progressed so well so far
  1208.
  1209. "I'd be delighted to"
  1210.
1211. >Sweetiebelle and Applebloom smile at you
1212. >After a brief moment, Applebloom wakes up Scootaloo
  1213. >You properly introduce yourselves
1214. >Scootaloo apologizes for what happened, unaware that Sweetiebelle said she liked you
1215. >All of you begin eating as "The Crusaders" of Canterlot High
1216. >Scootaloo then brings up the only skirmish of the day so far
  1217.
1218. >"What happened to your cheek?" she asks
  1219.
1220. "Huh? Oh...Uh, it's nothing, I just, walked into the door at the restrooms" you try to cover
  1221.
  1222. >It fails
  1223.
1224. >"A thang I picked up from Applejackis her honesty, you shouldn't lie about this, we're all friends now!" Applebloom intervenes
  1225.
1226. >"Yeah! You're a Crusader now, we look out for each other!" Scootaloo speaks up
  1227.
1228. >"That's right, you can tell us anything, that's what The Crusaders do!" Sweetiebelle
  1229.
  1230. >Oh geez
  1231. >These girls don't mean harm
  1232. >They mean really well
1233. >You're still new to all this
1234. >It feels strange to have them all attentive to you
1235. >That's what friends do you suppose
1236. >They do care for one another
1237. >Besides your immediate family, you can't really say you've felt this before from anyone
1238. >Maybe telling the truth won't be so bad
  1239.
  1240. "Well...I.."
  1241.
1242. >The girls are staring at you like cameras to a scene
1243. >You have their full attention
  1244. >This feels...good
1245. >It makes you feel fuzzy inside
  1246.
1247. "I..I got punched by someone in the restrooms..."
  1248.
  1249. >The girls gasp
  1250.
1251. >"You got into a fight?!" Scootaloo asks
  1252.
1253. "Uh..no, There was a kid getting bullied, and I didn't want to leave the restroom, so I got hit in the face by some guy"
  1254.
  1255. >You've never been in a fight
1256. >Can't imagine that you'd last more than a punch anyways
  1257.
1258. >"Well, do you at least know who did it?" asks Sweetiebelle
  1259.
1260. "No..All I know is that he has blue hair" you answer
  1261.
  1262. >"Ya'll don't think..?" Applebloom says
  1263.
1264. >"No, it couldn't have, could it?" replied Sweetiebelle
  1265.
1266. "Um..what are you guys talking about?"
  1267.
1268. >"We were just pondering who could've done this"
  1269.
1270. "I don't know, all I do know is that now I got this gash on my cheek, but it could be worse"
  1271.
1272. >"When ya do find out, make sure to report it to Vice Principle Luna" Applebloom told you
  1273.
1274. >It was good to have some sort of support on your back
  1275.
1276. "Thanks guys, for your concerns" you say, grateful
  1277.
1278. >"It's no worry, it's what we Crusaders do!" Scootaloo replies
  1279.
1280. >With that, you smile before taking another bite of your taco
1281. >A sip of your soda insures you that your troubles are far away
  1282. >Things are well now
  1283. >You've made friends
1284. >Maybe this year will continue down this wonderful path
1285. >Just then you feel a tap on your shoulder
1286. >A glance behind your shoulder reveals a familiar face
1287. >A smiling, purple face was looking down on you
  1288. >Those eyes, behind spectacles
  1289.
1290. "Twilight!" you start "Hey there, how are you?"
  1291.
1292. >"I'm doing fine, how was your day so far?" she asks while readjusting her glasses
  1293.
1294. >You decide to leave out the beating you took
  1295.
1296. "My day has been going great actually, I met some people, and I met these girls over here" gesturing to The Crusaders
  1297.
  1298. >Twilight looks over
  1299.
1300. >"Oh, hey girls!" Twilight waves over
  1301.
1302. >The girls all reply in unison
  1303.
  1304. >"Hi Twilight!"
  1305.
1306. "You guys know each other?" you ask
  1307.
1308. >"Mhmm, I sort of tutor them, and I'm friends with their sisters" Twilight replies
  1309.
1310. >"Twilight's the best, she can teach anything!" Applebloom says
  1311.
1312. >Twilight blushes before putting away her glasses
  1313.
1314. "Oh, um, Twilight, please have a seat" you motion towards the empty space next to you
  1315.
1316. >"Why thank you" she says
  1317.
1318. >Twilight places her hand on your shoulder before taking the seat next to yours
1319. >She pulls a package out of her satchel
  1320. >It's Sandwich Prince package
1321. >Her lunch is Sandwich prince
  1322. >Smells delicious
1323. >Twilight immediately begins to scarf the food down
1324. >Jesus this girl has an appetite
  1325. >She begins eating vigorously
  1326. >It's pretty impressive
1327. >Twilight notices you gawking at her
1328. >She wipes her face with a napkin
  1329.
1330. >"Oh, I'm sorry, that wasn't very ladylike of me" she apologizes
  1331.
1332. "No no, it's totally cool, I just never seen people enjoy food like you do" you say reassuringly
  1333.
1334. >Twilight smiles and begins to eat again
  1335.
1336. >"So feller, how was your first day so far?" Applebloom pipes up
  1337.
1338. >All of the girl's attention return back to you
  1339.
1340. "Well uh..Like you three already know, I met Applejack in my first period"
  1341.
  1342. >Twilight perks up
  1343.
1344. >"You met Applejack already? That's great!" Twilight says
  1345.
1346. >It is liberating to know all these people
1347. >It's all happening so fast
  1348. >You're not complaining though
1349. >It'd be great to go home and tell your parents that you've met new friends
  1350.
1351. "Yeah, she was very honest and nice, I'm also her partner for a project"
  1352.
1353. >"Are ya'll talking 'bout me?" a familiar southern voice speaks
  1354.
1355. >Applejack comes by with her lunch tray
  1356.
  1357. >"Howdy everyone!" greets Applejack
  1358.
1359. >Everyone exchanges greetings with Applejack
  1360.
1361. >"I see ya'll met my new partner for our fangled project" says AppleJack
  1362.
1363. >"It's such a coincidence that we all met the same person isn't it?" asked Twilight
  1364.
1365. "Or maybe it's a good thing" you say taking a bite of your taco
  1366.
1367. >They all look at you
1368. >They all exchange a smile with you
  1369. >This is good..isn't it?
  1370.
1371. >"I certainly can't wait for you to meet the rest of the gang" Twilight tells you
  1372.
  1373. >Rest of the gang?
1374. >She wants you to meet more of her friends?
1375. >This idea sits in your head on a fence
1376. >The more friends the merrier right?
1377. >Still though, you don't know how to deal with these friends, is it too early to gain more?
1378. >When in doubt, square up
  1379.
  1380. "I can't wait" you reply
  1381.
1382. >"Three of them are actually busy right now, but two others should be coming over any moment now" says Twilight
  1383.
  1384. >Jesus Christ
1385. >Twilight, Applejack, Scootaloo, Sweetiebelle, Applebloom, AND five more!?
  1386. >It's a lottery for friendship
1387. >Still, it can also be a minefield
1388. >Despite how well things are going along with these new people, you don't really know a thing about them
1389. >Not to mention you met Fluttershy as well
1390. >You really don't want to look at a bad side of this, but you don't really know anything about these girls
1391. >Applejack is a southern girl who's struggling in her classes with a sister, but she could be a killer
1392. >Scootaloo was smitten by you sure, but she was probably thinking about skinning your face
  1393. >Wait a second!
  1394. >Now just calm down
  1395. >It's the paranoia speaking
1396. >These are graceful, innocent girls who want to befriend you
1397. >Not only that, they want to introduce you to more friends
  1398. >Oh geez
  1399. >Seriously, fuck social emotions
  1400. >You're extremely grateful
  1401. >Just a little nervous is all
1402. >In fact, every friend you made so far is a girl
1403. >Weird that you haven't made a single dude friend
  1404. >Now you're at a table full of them
  1405. >You're still not complaining
  1406. >It is odd though
1407. >The only guys you met so far were very unpleasant
1408. >Seriously, fuck that blue haired guy
  1409. >Fucking generic Sonic
1410. >Why does every school have a stock bully?
  1411. >This couldn't be more old fashioned
  1412. >Could be worse though
1413. >You take a sip of your soda to calm your nerves
1414. >Just gotta avoid that guy for the rest of the year
1415. >Maybe after school, you can go sight seeing
  1416.
1417. >"Oh hey Fluttershy" Twilight greeted
  1418.
  1419. >Fluttershy?
1420. >You turn your head to see Fluttershy sit down with her tray
1421. >She looks surprised to see you
1422. >You weren't expecting to see her so soon either
1423. >Don't be awkward, say hey
  1424.
1425. "Hey Fluttershy, fancy seeing you here"
  1426.
  1427. >Smooth as a dragon dildo
  1428.
1429. >"You met Fluttershy already? Wow, you work quick" Twilight pats your shoulder
  1430.
  1431. >Fluttershy blushes
  1432. >Everyone else greets her
  1433.
1434. "Yeah, we met in science"
  1435.
1436. >"S-sorry about your cheek" Fluttershy meekly says
  1437.
1438. >No one noticed it until now
1439. >The rest of the girls look to your face
  1440. >There's the feeling again
  1441.
1442. >"What in tarnation happened there? That sure wasn't on your face when I saw you this mornin'" Applejack speaks up
  1443.
  1444. >Twilight nods in agreement
1445. >"Yeah, what happened to you?"
  1446.
1447. >You try to brush it off
  1448.
1449. "Nothing, it was just a little bump"
  1450.
1451. >Cole Phelps would slap you
1452. >Don't thank the academy because you suck at acting
  1453.
1454. >"He said he got punched by some guy" Scootaloo pipes up
  1455.
  1456. >You shoot Scootaloo a small glare
1457. >She retreats behind her taco
1458. >Twilight examines your cheek further
  1459.
1460. >"He must have hit you pretty hard"
  1461.
  1462. >Good work detective
  1463.
1464. "Yeah, but Fluttershy wiped away most of the blood when it was gushing"
  1465.
1466. >"Wow, Nice work Flutters!" Sweetiebelle said to Fluttershy
  1467.
1468. >Fluttershy's face went completely red
  1469.
1470. >"I-it was nothing..r-really..was just trying to be...helpful" She was hiding behind her bangs
  1471.
1472. >"Do you know who did this?" Applejack asks
  1473.
1474. >Before you could answer, Applebloom spoke up
  1475.
1476. >"He said it was a guy with blue hair sis'"
  1477.
1478. >"Blue hair?" Twilight started "It couldn't be who we think it is could it?"
  1479.
  1480. >The pronoun game
  1481.
1482. >"That's what we were thinking!" Sweetiebelle said
  1483.
1484. >"Was he wearing a leather jacket by any chance?" Twilight asks you
  1485.
  1486. "Y-yeah..he was" you answer
  1487.
1488. >"UGH, I knew it" She replied frustrated
  1489.
  1490. "Um..who is 'he'"
  1491.
  1492. >Applejack answered
  1493.
  1494. > "Flash Sentry"
  1495.
  1496. "Flash Sentry?" you ask
  1497.
1498. >"Y-yeah...he's my ex" Twilight answers
  1499.
  1500. >Ex boyfriend huh
1501. >How fucking cliche can this get?
1502. >Your first day, you meet a beautiful girl, and you get socked by her ex boyfriend
  1503. >What's next? A ski competition? A karate tournament?
  1504.
1505. >"Listen..I'm sorry he hurt you, he's a real jerk"
  1506.
1507. >A stinging sensation returns to your cheek
1508. >It's been half a day yet it feels like a thousand years already passed by
  1509.
1510. "It's fine, if the bell didn't ring when it did, he probably would've did more"
  1511.
1512. >You try to shrug it all off with a light chuckle
1513. >Another sip of your soda for reassurance
  1514.
1515. >"It isn't fine, I don't know what I saw in him," she starts "He bullies every guy I talk to, and he's just- ugh"
  1516.
  1517. >This isn't your department
1518. >The closest to a relationship you had are dating simulators
  1519. >They don't turn out like this
1520. >You have to change the mood somehow
  1521.
1522. "Hey! He doesn't know I talk to you yet, I'm just gonna avoid him anyways"
  1523.
1524. >"What were you doing in the restroom that would've made him punch you?"
  1525.
  1526. >No need to ponder
  1527.
1528. "Nothing at all," you take another sip "He was bullying some kid and I didn't want to leave so he punched me"
  1529.
1530. >Twilight was obviously getting angry because of this
  1531.
  1532. >"Are ya'll thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?" Applejack asks
  1533.
1534. >The girls nod in agreement
1535. >You play along to not feel like the odd one out
  1536.
1537. >"We need to get back at him!" Twilight announces
  1538.
  1539. >Oh fuck
  1540. >Oh fuck no
  1541. >No no no
  1542. >Shit
1543. >If there's anything you know about drama, it's that in real life, this shit doesn't end well for the under dogs
1544. >The girls seems so willing though
1545. >Can you really talk them out of this
  1546. >Should you?
  1547.
1548. >"Well, if there's anyone else we need fer this, it's definitely Sunset Shimmer" Applejack says
  1549.
1550. >"Who needs me?" A cougary voice trails from nearby
  1551.
1552. >"Speak of the devil" Twilight says
  1553.
1554. >"That was only one time!" the girl says
  1555.
1556. >Sitting at the table with the rest of you now was a girl in leather
1557. >She had fiery hair, that for some reason, reminded you of bacon, but looked nothing like it
1558. >This girl looked laid back
  1559. >Like a biker chick
  1560. >Suddenly, Applebloom spoke up
  1561.
1562. >"We need yer thinkin' skills to help us get back at Flash!"
  1563.
1564. >"Flash? What's he done now?" Sunset asked
  1565.
1566. >"The question is, what hasn't that rascal done, we made us here a new friend, and Flash already gone and hit him" answered Applejack
  1567.
1568. >Sunset's attention diverted to you
1569. >She looked as if she took a moment to think
  1570.
  1571. >"Okay, I'm in"
  1572.
1573. >The rest of the girls cheered as the idea was being accepted
  1574. >Sunset spoke to you
  1575.
1576. >"Hi there, I'm Sunset Shimmer, I hope you haven't heard things about me yet"
  1577.
1578. >You wonder what that means
  1579.
1580. "Hello, it's nice to meet you, it seems you all have quite the group here"
  1581.
1582. >"We like ta think of ourselves as a mighty fine collective!" Applebloom speaks up
  1583.
1584. >"Well, these "Crusaders" aren't actually in our group, but we keep 'em close" Applejack says
  1585.
1586. >"Speaking of our "group", where's Pinkie?" Sunset asks the table
  1587.
1588. >Pinkie? What a cute name you think to yourself
  1589.
1590. >"She might be in the auditorium, also Rarity is skipping lunch to help with decorating the Gym" Twilight answers
  1591.
1592. >Rarity? One more name to think of
1593. >It dawns on you that if all these girls are so immediately accepting, then these other girls are something to look forward to
1594. >Heh, it's funny, you sort of have a friend for a different stereotype
1595. >Twilight is the genius, bookworm
1596. >Applejack is the Southern belle who's not afraid to get dirty
1597. >Fluttershy is the soft hearted girl who cares for others over herself
1598. >You're not sure about this Sunset girl just yet though
1599. >If anything, by the way she looks, she seems like the type to hang out with this Flash Faggot
1600. >You shouldn't judge her just yet though
1601. >What does she mean though, about not hearing about her?
1602. >The urge to ask is burning
1603. >Asking would be rude though
  1604. >Damn, here goes nothing
  1605.
1606. "Um..Sunset, what did you mean earlier by not hearing about you?" you ask like an idiot
  1607.
1608. >Sunset looked at with you with a bit of confusion
1609. >Asking that question probably wasn't the best idea
1610. >She looked down a bit as if she were deciding
  1611.
1612. "I uh..didn't mean to offend you if I did.."
  1613.
  1614. >Sunset gave you a soft smile
  1615.
1616. >"It's fine, it's just that people don't tend to like me when they hear about things I've done" she says
  1617.
1618. >"You shouldn't let your past actions get you down when you've changed for the better" Twilight tells her reassuringly
  1619.
1620. >The other girls all agreed with her, putting their hands on her
1621. >The feeling of caring and love were in the air
1622. >It was really fuzzy in your stomach
1623. >No doubt you couldn't comprehend this feeling, but how often do you get to witness something so beautiful
  1624. >Sunset smiled at everyone
  1625.
1626. >"Thanks girls, really, I couldn't have asked for better friends, especially you Twilight" Sunset spoke with a raspy but appreciative tone
  1627.
  1628. >Twilight was blushing
1629. >You felt like the background character of a sitcom
1630. >While all the girl were being mushy, you were just there all weird
  1631.
1632. >Applejack notices this and clears the air
  1633.
1634. >"Hehe..sorry 'bout that sugarcube, we just had to have our moment" she apologized
  1635.
  1636. >Sugarcube?
  1637. >Was that a nickname?
1638. >Whatever way she meant it, you were now blushing
  1639.
1640. >"Anyways," Sunset starts "Let's just say before I met Twilight, I wasn't the nicest person around"
  1641.
1642. >You wouldn't know anything about that, but it seems she's past it
  1643.
1644. >"I did..things, manipulated people.." Sunset opened up "When Twilight first came here, I tried to ruin her reputation"
  1645.
  1646. >Twilight?
  1647. >Sweet, smart, innocent Twilight?
1648. >Damn, she must have been a real bacon bitch
  1649.
  1650. >"But now you're a friend, a true true friend" Twilight said
  1651.
  1652. >How...nice
1653. >This sight before you was so genuine and pure
1654. >It felt as if you had no business being here
1655. >Your first day and already these girls have done so much to let you in their circle
  1656. >Better yet, there's more to come
  1657. >Rarity, and Pinkie
1658. >Whoever these girls are, you cannot wait
  1659. >Suddenly, Fluttershy speaks up
1660. >Well she tries to at least
  1661.
1662. >"Hey...are you..okay?" she asks you without confidence
  1663.
1664. >This whole time you were quiet
1665. >You must have looked dumbfounded
  1666.
1667. "Oh! I'm fine hehe..just a little overwhelmed is all"
  1668.
1669. >Twilight put her hand on yours, which didn't have a taco in it
1670. >You can feel what these girls were saying
  1671. >The link
  1672. >It felt great
  1673. >Twilight made you feel...safe
  1674.
1675. >"Don't feel overwhelmed, we're here for you now" she said warmly
  1676.
1677. >Just then, the other girls looked to you with smiles
1678. >Even The Crusaders joined in
  1679.
1680. >"With all that being said, you don't have to worry about Flash anymore" Sunset told you
  1681.
1682. >You nearly forgot that Flash existed
  1683.
1684. "W-Wait a minute now" you try to speak
  1685.
1686. >"Relax sugarcube, he's had it coming to him for a while now" Applejack chimes in
  1687.
  1688. >What's next?
1689. >Seran wrapping his entire car?
1690. >Painting all over his house?
1691. >Putting a bag of horse dildos in his locker?
1692. >This is way too cliche
1693. >You're playing with fire by doing all this
1694. >Despite your mind telling you not to have any part in all of this, you did start this
  1695.
1696. "Okay...so how do we do it?" you ask
  1697.
1698. >Scootaloo pipes up from her taco eating
  1699.
1700. >"Oh! What if we get him drunk at a party, and have him accidentally knock up a freshmen?" she suggests
  1701.
1702. >The table loops at her
  1703. >Scootaloo retreats behind a taco again
1704. >Sweetiebelle pats her on the back for trying
  1705.
1706. >"What I was thinking," Sunset starts "Is we catch him in the act of something embarrassing and have everyone see it"
  1707.
1708. >"And what act should we catch him in?" Twilight asks
  1709.
1710. >"Oh, an act definitely not set up by seven girls and a new guy in town" Sunset replies with a devious grin
  1711.
1712. >The Crusaders look down at hearing this
1713. >You notice this, they did recruit you, so why not show some courtesy
  1714.
1715. "H-Hey guys, I think we should let The Crusaders help us with this"
  1716.
1717. >The three young girls widen with smiles and hope in their eyes
1718. >Twilight understands what you're trying to do
  1719.
1720. >"That sounds fine, you three can totally help us, but for now we need to wait to rendezvous with the rest of the group before really doing anything" Twilight tells them
  1721.
1722. >The Crusaders are visibly happy
  1723.
1724. >"So when should we meet up? The other girls are gonna be busy until after school" AppleJack announces
  1725.
1726. >"Then after school it is, but where?" Sunset asks
  1727.
1728. >"We're definitely not going to Fluttershy's place, not with all them critters and whatnot" AppleJack says
  1729.
1730. >Fluttershy looked down and pressed her lips out
1731. >An idea strikes your head
  1732.
1733. "Hey uh..My house is free after school, my dad will be at work, and it'll just be my mom"
  1734.
  1735. >The girls all agree
1736. >AppleJack lets The Crusaders know they can't come to your house until they do all their homework and chores first
1737. >All is set in motion now
  1738. >Lunch continues normally
1739. >You all eat your food, have small talk
1740. >Sunset asks about your old town
1741. >AppleJack talks about the project you're paired with her for
1742. >Fluttershy tries to do the same but gets all mixed up in her words
  1743. >Everything's...fine
1744. >You're trying to keep the thought of having ten girls at your house off your mind
1745. >Here's hoping that everything will go smoothly
1746. >After a bit of eating and exchanging dialogue, the bell for class rang
1747. >It was now time for third period
1748. >The girls said their goodbyes and went their separate ways
1749. >Once again, you were by yourself
1750. >It isn't that bad now since you have something to look forward to now
1751. >A few more classes and you'll be hanging out with your friends
1752. >Your mom could meet them, be happy for you
1753. >You could tell your brother about it, and maybe he won't think of you as a wimp for not wanting to join the military
1754. >Things were really looking up
1755. >As you walked toward your class, many students once again filled the hallways giving you little to no room to breathe
1756. >At this point it was clear to be on the lookout for Flash, so you could avoid him
1757. >Many different faces passed you by, none of which you recognized
1758. >It would've been nice to walk with one of the girls but it wasn't time to bite off more than you could chew, and the plate was spilling with food
1759. >As long as you don't run into the stock bully of every /mlp/ story ever, you don't mind walking alone
1760. >Following the map, you found your way
  1761. >This was art class
1762. >Stepping in the class lead you to see sculptures and paintings spread all around
1763. >Paint cans, brushes, canvases, rags, modeling clay, pots, etc. could be seen as far as the eye could see
1764. >Just about everything arts and craft could be found here
1765. >Other students entered and took their places at respective work stations
1766. >The teacher stepped in and took notice of you immediately
  1767.
1768. >"You must be the new student Principal Celestia informed me about" your teacher said to you
  1769.
  1770. >Your teacher was beautiful
1771. >She wasn't the girl next door, mother you'd like to fuck type like Ms. Cheerilee
  1772. >No...she was just...beautiful
1773. >At this point she noticed you gawking at her
  1774.
1775. >"Please allow me to introduce myself to you" she started "I'm your art teacher, Suri Polomare"
  1776.
  1777. >Suri...Polomare
1778. >You make sure to remember that name with that face of hers
  1779.
1780. >"Please call me, Ms. Polomare, and take a seat at any empty work station here"
  1781.
1782. >Ms. Polomare explained that every week there will be a theme, and you'll have the entire week to create a piece, whether it be a painting, sculpture, paper mache, origami, song, or clothing
1783. >Apparently Ms. Polomare is a well known fashion designer in Manehatten as evident of her plaques on her desk
  1784. >What she's doing here, you don't know why
1785. >She made it very clear you get extra points if you can make an original clothing design worthy of the public
1786. >There has been two other students who have been able to do so according to her
  1787. >This week's theme was "Friendship"
1788. >An idea sparked into your head
1789. >It's almost as if the theme is correlated to a greater force influencing the turn of events
1790. >With haste, you begin sketching out a rough draft of your piece
1791. >An artist you weren't, but you liked to believe that your drawings were above the stick figures that most can do
1792. >Hopefully this piece comes out the way it looks in your head
1793. >You felt like Light Yagami as you slid your pencil across the paper in violent motions
1794. >It was refreshing to be honest
1795. >Art class never seemed like a chore to you
1796. >Creativity could not be graded, or at least not to you it couldn't
1797. >Surely Ms. Polomare would understand that
1798. >That being said, you never considered Art to be a real class so much as it was a moment in school to dick about
1799. >Just then, your pencil lead broke
1800. >Your mom forgot to buy you a pack of mechanical pencils so you resorted to using an old wooden pencil for the day
1801. >You just about used it up to its breaking point
  1802. >Get it?
  1803. >Like a moron, you didn't bring a pencil sharpener
1804. >A quick scan of the room showed no visible pencil sharpener
1805. >You'd think with the advancements of the school there'd be a golden sharpener at every corner
  1806. >Oh well
1807. >Picking up the broken pencil, you get up to ask Ms. Polomare if she has a sharpener
1808. >You don't want to bother anyone else while they work on their pieces
1809. >Ms. Polomare was sitting at her desk sipping what smelled to be hot chocolate
1810. >It smelled fresh but made your soda/taco filled belly churn a bit
1811. >She looked up at you with a raised eyebrow
  1812.
1813. >"How can I help you?" she asked
  1814.
1815. "Sorry to bother you, but do you have a pencil sharpener, I didn't bring one"
  1816.
1817. >Ms. Polomare looked into her desk for a quick moment
1818. >She put her finger to her lip
1819. >It seemed an idea popped into her head
  1820.
1821. >"I should have one in the storage room back there, ask Coco to open it for you"
  1822.
1823. >Ms. Polomare motioned to a frail looking girl in the back of the class organizing art supplies
  1824.
1825. >"She's my student aide so she can help you with anything further"
  1826.
1827. >The way she said that leaves you to believe that she'd rather you go to others when you need assistance
1828. >You went over to Coco and tried to get her attention
  1829.
  1830. "Um, excuse me..Coco?"
  1831.
1832. >She was still deep into her work
1833. >Trying not to be too interruptive, you lightly tap her shoulder
  1834.
  1835. >"OH!" Coco gasped
  1836.
1837. >Jumping a little, she turned around too fast still holding some of the art supplies
1838. >One of those supplies happened to be opened paint
1839. >A splash of white paint had struck you
1840. >There was now a white streak going down your hoodie
  1841.
1842. >"Ohmygoodness *breathe* Iamsosososososososorry!" Coco was speaking so fast
  1843.
1844. >She began getting wash cloths and wiping your hoodie
1845. >This only made the streak spread
1846. >Your hoodie began to look completely dull white
  1847. >Coco was freaking out
  1848.
  1849. >"I'm soooo sorry, I can't do anything right"
  1850.
1851. >You try to speak up and assure her it's all right but she continues to wipe
  1852.
1853. >"Why am I like this? Ms. Polomare is right about me, I'm useless" she kept going
  1854.
1855. >Before you could calm her down, Ms. Polomare had already come over to see what was going on
1856. >It didn't take long for her to see what had happened
1857. >Ms. Polomare let out a deep sigh while gripping the bridge of her nose
1858. >The disappointment on her face was so great it made you feel like you did something wrong
  1859.
1860. >"Coco Pommel....I thought we've been through this" Ms. Polomare said still holding her nose
  1861.
1862. >"I know miss, I am so sorry, I was just surprised and-" Coco started but was cut off
  1863.
1864. >"I don't care if you're sorry! That is no excuse for you being so clumsy!" Ms. Polomare bolted at her
  1865.
1866. >Coco was retreating into her own body holding the opened can of paint to her chest
1867. >She looked like she was about to cry right there
1868. >Ms. Polomare went on about how useless Coco was
1869. >She kept at it, and to your surprise, none of the other students seemed phased by this
1870. >Tears were already forming at Coco's eyes
  1871.
1872. >"Are you actually going to cry now sweetheart? You have no reason to, your clothes didn't get smacked with paint, go wipe those tears and repay this young man for his troubles" Ms. Polomare said before going back to her desk
  1873.
1874. >Ms. Polomare rubbed her temples and took a sip of her Hot coco before going back to what she was doing
1875. >Holy shit did that just happen
1876. >You're trembling, and you didn't get yelled out
1877. >How the hell has no one else reacted?!
1878. >You turn to Coco, who was looking the other way, sniffling hard, trying to stop herself from crying in front of you
1879. >She placed the paint can down and pulled out a little coin purse from the purse around her body
  1880.
1881. >"*sniffle* H-how much..*sniffle* do I owe y-you..?" Coco asked with her words shaken and stirred
  1882.
1883. >She was already reaching into the coin purse, jumbling around the bills, looking for an appropriate amount
1884. >After a little shuffling, she just gave up and pulled out everything that was in it
1885. >From the amount you could see, it looked around $152
1886. >Your hoodie was only $15....but it was on clearance..so it was only $7
1887. >Without hesitation, you put the money back into her little purse
1888. >With both your hands, with care, you pushed her hands back, making her let go of her main purse
1889. >She looked at you in confusion with tears streaming down her face
1890. >All you could do in the moment was give her a small smile, letting her know there was no hatred
1891. >In that moment, Coco embraced you
1892. >She was a little shorter than you, so her head pressed onto your neck
1893. >You could feel the warm tears going down your neck
1894. >The paint, still wet, most likely was spreading onto her clothes now
1895. >Something like this was still foreign to you, but general compassion was something everyone should have
1896. >Trying your best, you put your arms around her, trying to comfort her
1897. >After a bit, she eased up and the two of you straightened yourselves up
1898. >You let her know that it wasn't her fault, she didn't have to worry about repaying you
1899. >Well, the paint's never gonna come off, but now it gives you a reason to buy a new one
1900. >Your hoodie now lay folded in your bag, as to not get any paint on the insides of your bag
1901. >Coco seemed better now, but her eyes were still a little red from the tears
  1902.
1903. >"*Sniffle* Why are you being so kind?" she asks you
  1904.
1905. "I know how it feels to be told you're useless, not knowing if it'll ever get better" you tell her confidently
  1906.
1907. >Even you don't know where this is coming from
1908. >You felt as though Twilight took control of you and was speaking for you
1909. >Whatever the case, it was making Coco feel better
1910. >She gave you a weak smile, which was adorable despite the dried tears on her cheeks
  1911.
1912. >"I'm Coco Pommel....It's nice to meet you....really, it is" she mustered out
  1913.
1914. >Clearly this girl has been through some things
1915. >She seems even more emotionally damaged than Fluttershy
1916. >The thought that she has been taken advantaged of before creeps into your mind, and makes you want to beat the fuck out of anyone who has
  1917. >You're no whiteknight though
1918. >Still, the least you could do is make sure no harm comes her way in your watch
  1919.
1920. >"W-what was it you needed from me..before I uh..you know.." she asked
  1921.
1922. "Oh! I was going to ask you if we could look in the storage room for a pencil sharpener"
  1923.
  1924. >Coco perked up a little
1925. >She looked as though she was excited to be of use
1926. >Your heart can't take all this in
1927. >It's only your first day
  1928.
1929. >"I can help with that, l-let's go" Coco spoke with less distraught
  1930.
1931. >You and Coco made your way to the door in the back
1932. >She pulled a ring of keys out from her purse, switching between them
1933. >As messed up as it is to say, you can't imagine Coco being picked as a student aide
  1934. >Ms. Polomare's student aide nonetheless
1935. >After unlocking the door, Coco opened it, leading you in
1936. >Switching on the lights revealed a little room scattered to the brim with art supplies
1937. >On one side of the wall even had an assortment of boxes with labels "Suri's #1 outfits--Do Not Touch!"
1938. >This doesn't surprise you in the least
1939. >Coco began sifting through a cubby full of items for the sharpener
1940. >She seemed a lot calmer in here doing something, yet the gloom in her was still present
1941. >If Ms. Polomare does this to her often, then you can't begin to imagine what the hell Coco's going through
  1942.
1943. >"It was my fault..Ms. Polomare is right when she says those things" Coco spoke as she searched
  1944.
  1945. >Coco is a stranger to you
1946. >That doesn't make this hurt you any less
1947. >Why would a teacher be this cruel?
1948. >The thought of Twilight and the other girls run through your mind
1949. >They've been running through your mind since you met them
1950. >This time was different though
1951. >Like Twilight was holding the wheel, she took control
1952. >You opened your mouth to speak
1953. >You weren't even thinking, you just let out whatever what would come out
  1954.
1955. "Coco, I don't think you're useless....Not one bit" you put your hand on her shoulder from behind
  1956.
1957. >Coco's body was softly trembling
1958. >It wasn't a scared tremble, or a bad tremble, but a tremble as if she was letting go
1959. >Coco was breaking down the barriers
  1960. >Twilight's words didn't stop there
  1961. >Or rather...your words but Twilight inspired
  1962.
1963. "You know...I was where you were too...being told i'm useless, that I can't do anything right" you started "I was always around people who thought I was just some weirdo"
  1964.
1965. >Your grip on her shoulder became tender, not rough but firm
1966. >It was a way to let her know you felt what she felt
  1967. >You understood
1968. >Something you always felt, that no one could ever understand, but she felt it, she understood, and vice versa
1969. >Suddenly a flash of Fluttershy wiping your cheek went through your mind
  1970. >Pay it forward
1971. >That's what your parents would tell you
  1972.
1973. "Don't ever feel sorry for being who you are, Coco, there is only one of you, and the world would be lucky to even have your attention for just a second"
  1974.
  1975. >You began trembling
  1976. >Your hand was shaking
1977. >Coco put her hand over yours
1978. >She was still trembling, but the both of you understood what it was
1979. >The silence of the storage room was soothing
1980. >It was exactly what Coco needed
1981. >There was more you could say, but it didn't need to be said
1982. >The two of you just stood there, trembling together in sync
  1983. >This was good...wasn't it?
1984. >Coco then turned to face you
1985. >She was facing down but you could sense she wasn't as sad anymore
1986. >You were greatly taller than her, but she was greatly tall in her strength to endure all of Ms. Polomare's words
1987. >Coco slowly faced upwards towards you
1988. >She gave you a soft smile before lifting up a pencil sharpener towards you
1989. >A giggle escaped your mouth
1990. >Coco looked at you in confusion
  1991. >Suddenly she couldn't help herself
  1992. >She began giggling too
1993. >Soon the both of you were giggling like a bunch of kids high on helium
  1994. >It was a moment she needed
1995. >The moment you needed for a long time as well
1996. >You wished the other girls could be here for this moment, but some moments are more beautiful witnessed by those who needed to be there
1997. >After you finished your giggle fest, you took the pencil sharpener from Coco
1998. >Still with a soft smile plastered on her face, Coco embraced you in a hug
1999. >The hug was returned by you
  2000.
2001. >"Thank you" she whispered softly
  2002.
2003. >You let her go and softly rubbed her shoulders
2004. >The both of you left the room
2005. >Coco switched off the lights and locked the door behind her
2006. >With that, you returned to your piece while she went back to sorting
2007. >A great weight was lifted off the shoulders of both you and Coco
2008. >Once again, you were sketching away at the paper
2009. >The theme was friendship, so a clear idea was already set in place
2010. >The sketch was coming out great which meant the final piece when you get started, should be just perfect
  2011. >Mr. Discord's little figurines inspired you a little
2012. >The biggest inspiration however were your new-found friends
2013. >In the end, your art piece was going to be a painting, but for now you sketched
2014. >Your paper, once blank, now filled
2015. >It describes your current situation
2016. >Your life, once empty, now being filled
2017. >Like your paper too, only you could do it
2018. >It's up to you to fill that paper
  2019. >Time was going on
2020. >Every now and again you'd glance over to Coco to see how she was getting on
2021. >She would catch you eye at the same time you looked over
2022. >The both of you would exchange a smile and continue with your tasks
2023. >At this point your sketch was finished, you could add details when you start on the canvas
2024. >To you, it encapsulated how you felt up to this point
  2025. >Moving to a new home
  2026. >Meeting Twilight
  2027. >Meeting AJ
  2028. >Running into Flash
  2029. >Meeting Fluttershy
  2030. >Meeting the Crusaders
  2031. >Meeting Coco
  2032. >Friendship is a hell of a thing
2033. >While thinking about how you were gonna paint the sketch, Ms. Polomare called out to the class
  2034.
2035. >"Okay everyone, class is about to end, put your pieces in your designated area, and we'll continue tomorrow" Said Ms. Polomare
  2036.
2037. >She looked over to you
  2038.
2039. >"You can go ahead and give Coco whatever you worked on, and she'll find a place for it" she informed you
  2040.
2041. >Coco got ready to assist you once again
2042. >She was surprised it was only a sheet of paper with a sketch on it
2043. >All the more easier for her to keep it in a safe place
2044. >Coco put the sketch into a file bin, setting a tag on the bin to let others know it's yours
2045. >You thanked her and went to retrieve your bag
2046. >Just as you slung your backpack on, the bell rang
2047. >According to your schedule, you now have another class period, then second break
2048. >Everyone was on their way out
2049. >Following behind, Coco caught up to you
2050. >She stopped you before you left the classroom
  2051.
2052. >"I'm glad I met you today" Coco said before givng you one last hug then heading into the hall with a smile
  2053.
2054. >With that, you entered the hall with an easy head
2055. >A familiar urge from earlier crept back
2056. >You never did pee, so now would be acceptable
2057. >Making your way to the nearest restroom, you made sure to look out for Flash
2058. >Don't need a round two from that faggot
2059. >Even though it wasn't break or lunch, most students were just hanging in the halls
2060. >No one was obnoxiously smoking though, so that was cool, at least not in the actual school
  2061. >Hopefully the bathroom wasn't full
2062. >The side of your eyes couldn't help but to notice a circle formed around a section of a hallway
2063. >Someone was breakdancing while some chick in shades was playing music on her speaker
  2064. >Everyone seemed into it
2065. >No time for that though
2066. >Finally getting to the restroom, you take a step inside
  2067. >No one
  2068. >Phew
2069. >No one in the stalls either
2070. >Just as you're about to unzip, someone steps in
  2071. >It isn't Flash
  2072. >It's some...brolic guy
2073. >The way he's dressed reminds you of AJ and Applebloom
2074. >Maybe there's more southern people here than you thought
  2075. >Thankfully this guy didn't start anything
2076. >The both of you stood side by side at the urinals
2077. >The only thing seperating you, was a wooden divider
2078. >Thank goodness, you don't want to imagine the monster this guy is gonna pull out
2079. >Quickly, you do your business
2080. >Washing your face, you clean up any remnants of blood that dripped out of your cheek from earlier
2081. >The restroom was unnaturally cold
  2082. >Jesus.mov
2083. >Shame that your hoodie got ruined but you're not gonna blame Coco
2084. >After drying your hands, you leave the restroom
  2085. >This period was Gym
2086. >No extra clothes were brought today
2087. >To be fair, you weren't even sure what classes you were going to get
2088. >Nothing can be done about it now
2089. >Guess today will just be a free day for you
2090. >Unless the gym teacher decides to make you run in your jeans
  2091. >Whatever
2092. >You headed for the gym
2093. >As you did, you noticed The Crusaders running in the hall, looking for their classes no doubt
2094. >Seeing them brings you to a smile
2095. >Hopefully no one saw you just now
2096. >Following the map again, you found the gym
2097. >A paper taped to the front doors of it kept you from going inside
2098. >"Gym closed for the preparations of the Fall dance--All gym class students report to the soccer field"
  2099. >Sigh
2100. >Guess you'll be sitting in the sun in your jeans
2101. >Just as you were about to leave, a voice chimed in
  2102.
2103. >"Excuse me dahling" an elegent, regal voice spoke to you
  2104.
2105. >Turning to face the source revealed a beautiful girl
2106. >Pale white, almost powdery skin, complimented by glossy purple hair in an outfit that seemed more expensive than anything you could ever afford
2107. >Her hairstyle was so clean and came down to a large curl
2108. >She was holding a box of items with her
  2109. >The girl spoke again
  2110.
2111. >"Do be a dear and open the gym door for me, won't you?" her voice, angelic
  2112.
2113. >As if entranced like a zombie, you opened the door for her, letting her in
2114. >The girl made her way in
  2115.
2116. >"Why thank you dahling" she said as she went in
  2117.
2118. "N-no problem" you mustered out still in awe at her beauty
  2119.
2120. >She giggled as she left your sight
2121. >While you let go of the door, you could hear another voice from inside
  2122.
  2123. >"RARITY, arethosethe PARTY STREAMERS!?!?!?!?"
  2124.
2125. >That voice sounded like whoever that was, drank so many cans of redbull Ironwill
  2126. >Oh well
