How to be Dense.

 

>It was Saturday afternoon at Sugarcube Corner and most of the girls were at their regular booth on this fine sunny day.

>Suddenly Sunset burst through the doors and headed towards the rest of the girls exclaiming "I got it! I got it!"

>The others were also visibly excited as Sunset took her normal seat.

>Twilight eagerly asked "Do you know who it is yet?"

>Sunset said "No no. We agreed we'd all find out together remember? But they DID make me promise to read the disclaimer to you all again before we get to the big thing."

>Rainbow said with a smile "I hope it IS a big thing!"

>That got a round of lusty chuckles.

>Eventually Sunset cleared her throat and said "Ok, I gotta go over the basics first. I'm sure we'll find out the size in no time. Alright, as you ALL know, CHS has more girls than boys by around a 5-1 ratio in the freshman class. That means there are NOT a lot of boys in the dating pool. To prevent fighting over boys, and to keep them from learning they have an advantage, we entered ourselves as a group in the lottery for unclaimed boys."

>Sunset continued "So enclosed within is the ONLY boy any of us are allowed to date. But he is OURS and no one else can have him. Adjustments have been made to his schedule so all of his classes have one or more of us."

>She paused and said "Twilight I'm sorry but it looks like you aren't taking AP English this year."

>Twilight said "I understand. I knew there would be sacrifices, but I can challenge for the course credit at the end of the year right?"

>Sunset said "Owing to these circumstances, yes you can! Provided you meet all of the other criteria blah blah blah."

>Twilight simply smiled in response.

>With a big smile Sunset declared "Then without further ado.." And she opened the envelope and scattered several pictures..

>Applejack was the first to speak "Anonymous huh? Looks a bit average to start out with."

>Twilight said "Coming from the lottery of unclaimed boys, that's actually a pretty good result. After all, the prettiest boys would get claimed first."

>Applejack had to admit "That's a fair point."

>Rarity spoke up to say "Well his sense of style can ONLY be improved. Fortunately I think we can motivate him there."

>Fluttershy said "I think you're right Rarity. I'm sure he'll be reasonable once we understand him."

>Pinkie said "Ok so we have to ask him questions before we keep his mouth busy with other things."

>Rainbow said "That's the spirit Pinkie!" with a knowing leer.

>Pinkie clarified "I meant cupcakes." she said with a giggle.

>Sunset then broke in with a worried "Hmmm. This data sheet isn't much help. It's mostly teacher comments and nothing outside of class. He doesn't do a lot of homework, but he participates very knowledgeably in class. His test scores are also generally in the top 10%."

>Twilight said brightly "So he HAS a brain, but there's either a discipline or motivation problem. A diamond in the rough there."

>Rainbow said with some urgency "That's not ALL he has!" She pointed to a specific picture and said "Look at that ASS!"

>The girls agreed that he had a GREAT butt!

>Rarity noted "His legs look fairly toned as well. My guess is he rides a bicycle."

>Sunset added "Good catch."

>Twilight said "Ok ladies. It's true there are some good signs here. But it's also true we have no known dating history, no social media, and no phone number."

>Pinkie said "Oh that's no big deal! We can get all that out of a guy on the first day! 2 tops!"

>Fluttershy then meekly said "Um, excuse me, but how are we going to decide who,.. who goes first?"

>Sunset said "I understand the question and I've been giving it a good amount of thought. Since he's our age and a freshman, the odds are overwhelming that he's a virgin just like all of us. That being the case I think HE should have some say in his first time. After all, WE want to have a say in all of ours."

>Applejack asked "Well being considerate is all well and good. But what's the idea?"

>Sunset gave an evil smirk as she said "Oh it's pretty simple. The first one he sends a dick pic to gets him first. Agreed?"

>The girls all hungrily agreed.

>Then Pinkie "Then we pass him around like a bag of donut holes!"

>The girls all had a good laugh at that.

 

>And so the girls had made their plans for the unsuspecting Anonymous.

>Naturally Anonymous has some circumstances of his own and won't fit into EVERY plan the girls have. But that is to be expected.

>What isn't expected is that there are forces beyond the known that will choose to interfere.

>Unknowable forces that do unknowable things for unknowable reasons.

>So as our hero Anonymous walks, not rides, to his new school that fine Monday morning, he notices a paperback book on top of some bushes. Seemingly abandoned.

>As a bit of a compulsive reader, he stops for a moment to take a look.

>The book is titled "How a Young Man Can Avoid Embarrassment in High School."

>Well that certainly sounds useful! And what great timing!

>So he looks at what the back cover has to say.

>"This book is a COMPREHESIVE guide to avoiding many of the all to common pitfalls in High School!

>"How to pick the right friends!"

>"How to dress to blend in!"

>"HOW TO DEAL WITH GIRLS!!!"

>That last one got Anonymous to decide to keep the book. High school girls are an eternal mystery at his age after all. Any help is worth considering!

>So he read on as he got onto campus and the many boring parts of freshmen orientation.

>The book read as follows "Ok we all know the big thing every young man wants to know about is girls. So we'll start there with 2 important things.

>"1. NEVER EVER LET A GIRL READ THIS BOOK! This book is written for young men and girls won't understand it the same way guys do. They just won't. If they do read it they will just complain and nitpick and make an unneeded fuss. And who needs that? Certainly not you!

>"2. GIRLS DON'T ACTUALLY WANT SEX! Think about it. Hollywood actresses and porn queens are PAID to say they like sex! You can't trust people who prostitute themselves like that!

>"So what do they actually want then? ATTENTION! Pure and simple. Oh they'll tease young men by saying they want sex, but you have to give them a lot of ATTENTION first! And then they never follow through!"

>"A young man is FAR better off just using porn at home and taking care of himself than trying to talk to girls about sex. Quite frankly it's best to avoid talking about sex with girls altogether. If you do that, it cleanly avoids at least 80% of embarrassing situations!"

>"High school is not some sweet fantasy land."

>"It's a chance to learn and to get wise."

>"It's time to go forth young man."

>"To see the world, you have to open up your eyes!"

 

>Just then, he looked up from the book.

>Something in the hallway was calling his attention.

>He looked to his left and saw a maintenance closet.

>Only there was a line drawn in sharpie through the sign that said "Maintenance closet."

>Underneath the crossed out sign there was another sign on plain white binder paper, taped to the door on multiple edges.

>The paper sign began with "Rape cafe #1".

>And underneath THAT it said "BOYS WELCOME! Many positions available!"

>No question I asked myself about that sign didn't lead to several other and more disturbing questions!

>There were three assorted girls near this door. They had bored expressions until they saw me notice the closet.

>Almost as one, they smiled as they pointed their phones at me.

>Then their expressions went flat and one of them said "Move along freshman. This isn't for you."

>I decided this was not the time to be a rebellious teen and took their advice.

>I briefly wondered how she had known I was a freshman, and then quickly realized there were to many possible answers.

>I got to class, found my assigned seat, and resolved to keep my nose in my new book until class started.

 

>All of a sudden, the girl to my left loudly whispered "Psst! Hey what did you get for number 3?"

>I jerked my head up with my eyes suddenly open wide! I looked at the blackboard, then to my desk, and then to the girl's desk. There was NO sign of any kind of quiz.

>Many folks in the class started snickering.

I looked the tall girl in the eyes, gave a small chuckle, and said "Good one. Classic first day nightmare fuel."

>Recovering from laughing, she looked at me and said "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I just couldn't resist."

"No worries." I said. "I mean it's not like I,.. Waitaminute.." I looked her in the eye and asked "I AM wearing pants right?"

>The class was silent for a moment and then broke into quiet laughter.

>Moments later, the tall girl said "Very solid comeback green boy. Lighthearted, relatable, and on the random theme. No notes! Also yes you are, sadly, wearing pants."

>As I smiled back at her, internally my jaw dropped and I wondered why my wearing pants could be bad?

>Before my freezing up could be really noticed, the teacher, standing by her desk, rapped her ruler on the tray of the chalkboard several times and said "You two can work on your comedy stylings later. My name is Mrs. Kinnecht and this is freshman English. Now then, is everyone in the right class?" she asked as she looked around.

>It seemed that everyone here was supposed to be here, so she continued "Alright, now because most of you are new to each other, we're all going to introduce ourselves out loud. Everyone except the first person will compliment the person that went before them. Then give their name and height, and then finish with telling us one quick fact about yourself."

>The row to my left started from the front.

>The second person said "I'm sure you'll be great at that. Hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle. I'm 5' and I'm going to be a scientist."

>Next in line said "You're gonna be AWESOME! So I'm Pinkie Pie and I'm 5'4" before my hair. I like cooking and parties!"

>The girl to my left was next. "Her cupcakes are great! My name is Sunset Shimmer, I'm 5'11" and I love to draw."

>Behind her a scratchy voice said "Her art is awesome! 'Sup everyone? I'm Rainbow Dash at 5'6" and I'm your next soccer star!"

>Then it went to the first seat in my row and continued backwards from there.

>The second person declared "You'll be simply divine darling! I'm Rarity at 5'5" before heels, and fashion is my passion!"

>The girl in front of me softly said "You're beautiful Rarity. Oh I'm Fluttershy (mumble mumble mumble) animals."

>Well that was a disaster I thought to myself. Also I felt several glares in my direction warning me against embarrassing her further!

With a small bow and hands in a prayer gesture I said in a voice that was gentle, but loud enough to be clearly heard "To my fellow introvert I would like to offer greetings that I hope are found to be both warm and free from expectations. To the rest of you I am Anonymous. I'm 5'10" and am simply working to be a better version of myself."

>The next girl said "That was real nicely done Anonymous. Hi! I'm Applejack at 5'8" and I help out mah family on our apple farm."

>The rest of the class gave their introductions, but those seven girls were going to be far more influential than anyone else I knew.

>After the introductions, Mrs. Kinnecht revealed that our first class topic was subject and predicate.

>She gave us a one-page worksheet and a few pages of reading as homework.

>I raised my hand and Mrs. Kinnecht said "Yes Anonymous?"

"Yeah I've got an unusual question on subject and predicate that I haven't been able to figure out the answer to yet. And I'm sorry but it needs a fair amount of context."

"You see, I've had this come up in EVERY English class since the third grade."

I looked around the class and asked "Is that pretty much true for everyone else here?"

>I got a couple of answering nods.

"Thank you. I thought so." I said. "So this topic has been covered every year for the last six years. I didn't spend that kind of time on adverbs, or 'I before E except after C'."

"So what that says to me is that the folks who choose what we study think that subject and predicate are REALLY important.

"But I don't have the perspective to figure out WHY it's so important. Can you help me understand Mrs. Kinnecht?"

>Mrs. Kinnecht said "I'll certainly try Anonymous. The fact is subject and predicate are the basic building blocks of sentences in English and many other languages. Does that answer your question?"

"I'm not sure." I said. "I mean, there are a LOT of things basic to the English language that we don't spend this kind of time on. How to phrase this? It feels like it lacks the weight, or said another way, it doesn't seem to resonate with the time investment?"

>The teacher was trying to come up with another way to explain when Twilight raised her hand and said "Mrs. Kinnecht, I think I might be able to answer this for Anonymous. May I?"

>Mrs. Kinnecht said "Go ahead Twilight."

>Twilight smiled as she made eye contact and said "Anonymous, you used the word perspective earlier and I think that may be key in helping you understand. But first, to confirm you basically only speak English right?"

"Uh yeah. I mean I know words and phrases from other languages but not enough to hold a conversation."

>Twilight said "I thought so. Well Anonymous, you might be surprised to learn other languages have different ways to construct a sentence. Several use what's called topic and comment. So in English we would say 'My classmate is smart.', but with topic and comment it becomes 'My classmate she smart.' Does that help?"

As my eyes widened in understanding I answered with a smile "Yes. Yes it does! Thank you senpai."

>Twilight had to suppress a giggle as she said "You're welcome kohai."

>From behind me Applejack asked "What's senpai?"

I turned around to face her and responded "Oh sure. Senpai is a Japanese word that means 'senior'. And I was using it to admit she knows more than I do. 'Kohai' is the corollary that means 'junior'. She's basically agreeing to look out for me if you want to take it that far. But it's all in fun."

>Applejack was having some trouble with it and so asked "Are you saying she's older than you?"

"Eh, not really?" I said "While senpai and kohai CAN refer to age, it doesn't have to. The Japanese are much more flexible in their use of it. Oh here's an example. Let's say just for the sake of argument that you are younger than me. If I came to work on your family's apple farm then YOU would be my senpai because you have so much more knowledge and experience than I do. Does that help?"

>Applejack smiled and said "I think it does. Thank you."

>I wasn't entirely convinced she got it, but she HAD learned I wasn't inclined to make fun of her or her friends. I would happily take that as a win!

>Mrs. Kinnecht then broke in with "All right class settle down please. Thank you to both Anonymous and Twilight as well. It's so refreshing to see such a passion for learning! Now with our homework decided, I'm hoping we can all have fun with something else for the rest of class. We're going to do a read-along with certain parts of The Lion King. Take these scripts please everyone."

>Scripts were passed back along the desk rows and then folks were assigned parts to read.

>Anonymous would be Simba. Both young and old.

>Sunset was assigned Nala based on her initial chemistry with Anonymous.

>Twilight got the know-it-all Zazu.

>Rarity received the part of Timon.

>Applejack got Puumba.

>In a surprise move, Pinkie declared she would lead the percussion section.

>Mrs. Kinnecht said "All right class, we're going to start on page 16 with Zazu, Simba, and Nala just before the song 'I Just Can't Wait to be King.'"

Anonymous then got up from his seat and turned to Sunset and said "Ok let's go up there." while motioning to the front of the class.

>Sunset was caught by surprise, but got up and followed him while asking "Um what are we doing exactly?"

"Oh I'm sorry. I should have asked first." I said. "You've seen the movie a dozen or so times right?"

>Sunset replied "Oh several dozen times."

"Right. So what we're gonna do is act it out because a line reading is no challenge for us at this point." Then I turned to Twilight "You with us senpai?"

>Twilight blinked and asked "Is it safe?"

I smiled and said to her "It is if we're smart." Then to the rest of the class I said "Ok please remember to respect your classmates. We will not bump, run over, or trample Zazu! On a similar note, Rarity?"

>Rarity was a little surprised that I suddenly called on her, but responded "Yes dear?"

"If your Timon wants to climb on Simba, I'm ok with that. But I will respect whatever choices you make ok?"

>Rarity answered with "Thank you darling." Privately she was pleased to be reminded of the perks of the role. Oh she was GOING to touch!

"Alright, any other questions?" I asked. "No? Ok Zazu start us off please.

>Zazu said "You two are going to be married!"

Simba said "I can't marry her. She's my friend."

>Nala added "Yeah. It'd be so weird."

>Zazu said in exasperation "Sorry to burst your bubble, but you two turtledoves have no choice. It's a tradition going back generations."

Simba said "Well when I'm king, that'll be the first thing to go." And Nala smiled in response.

>Zazu then confidently declared as he walked away and faced them "Not so long as I'm around."

Simba approached and said said "Well in that case, you're fired."

>Zazu asserted "Hmm, nice try. But only the King can do that!"

>Nala approached and said "Well, he's the future King."

Simba got even closer and said "Yeah!" and (air)poked Zazu who reeled back and continued "So you have to do what I say."

>Zazu is getting frustrated with the rebellious attitude as they walk away and says "Not yet I don't! And with an attitude like that I'm afraid you're shaping up to be a pretty pathetic King indeed!"

Simba turns "Hm, not the way I see it."

>The song begins and Pinkie gently gets louder with the drums.

Simba pounces close to Zazu and backs him into a corner singing "I'm gonna be a mighty King so enemies beware."

>Zazu recovers and pretends to pluck Simba's scalp "Well I've never seen a King or beast with quite so little hair."

Simba moves away and fakes having a mane by moving his hands to his neck and splaying out his fingers "I'm gonna be the main event like no King was before."

Getting closer to Zazu, Simba starts posing. "I'm brushing up on looking down. I'm working on my ROAR!"

>Zazu stumbles a bit and heads to the opposite side of the stage area "You're thus far a rather uninspiring thing."

Simba and Nala happily run together "Oh I just can't wait to be King!

>Zazu tromps to center stage "You've rather a long way to go young master if you think.."

Simba and Nala go to either side of Zazu. Nala makes a mocking face as Simba says "No one saying do this."

>Zazu says "Now when I said that.."

>It's Simba's turn to mock as Nala says "No one saying be there."

>Zazu is starting to suspect the mocking "Now what I meant was.."

Nala's turn to mock as Simba says "No one saying stop that."

>Zazu is getting flustered "Now what you don't realize.."

>Nala and Simba both sing "No one saying see here."

>Zazu exclaims "Now see here!"

Simba and Nala pretend to ride ostriches "Free to run around all day."

>Zazu takes flight after them "Well that's definitely out."

Simba declares "Free to do it all my way!"

>Zazu catches up to the pair " I think it's time that you and I arranged a heart to heart."

Zazu crashes into a rhino while Simba says "Kings don't need advice from little hornbills for a start."

>Zazu lands on a perch unaware that it's headed towards a waterfall "If this is where the monarchy is headed count me out! Out of service! Out of Africa! I wouldn't hang about!"

>Zazu recovers from going over the waterfall by flying "This child is getting wildly out of wing!"

>Anonymous was quietly giving Sunset instruction during Zazu's extended part.

Simba and Nala head down the desk rows "Oh I just can't wait to be king!

>Pinkie gets a chance to shine with the elephants thunderous footsteps as Simba and Nala frolic back up front in a carefree manner.

Simba orders "Everybody look left!" and they pass behind Zazu.

Simba orders "Everybody look right! and they pass behind Zazu.

"Everywhere you look I'm standing in the spotlight!"

>Anonymous uses both hands to encourage the entire class to take up the chorus.

>Zazu says "Not yet!"

>The class takes up the chorus as Sunset beckons Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Fluttershy to her for instructions "Let every creature go for broke and sing!"

>"Let's hear it on the herd and on the wing!"

>"It's gonna be King Simba's finest fling!"

>The students in the desk row closest to the windows get up as they sing, spin in place, and sit back down "Oh I just can't wait to be King!"

>The next desk row does the same thing "Oh I just can't wait to be King!"

>The next desk row repeats the maneuver "Oh I just can't wait to be King!"

>As the attention goes back to Simba and Nala, Anonymous is being held up by Applejack and Rainbow Dash. While Rarity and Fluttershy are holding up Sunset.

>Rainbow has her hand on Anon's butt and there's nothing he can do about it.

>The girls let Anonymous and Sunset down and the number is over.

"That was AMAZING everyone! Give yourselves a round of applause!"

Anonymous held up the hands of Sunset and Twilight and said "And how about these two! I caught them completely by surprise and they handled it brilliantly! Give em a hand!"

Anonymous then went over to the first row and said "And Pinkie! I've never had a drum section before, but that was AWESOME! Give her a hand too everyone!

>Mrs. Kinnecht asked "You've done this before Anonymous?"

Anonymous put his hand behind his head and sheepishly said "Yeah it's kind of a family thing. My grandparents used to do this thing called Rocky Horror and one of the things that involves is acting out a movie as it plays behind you. One of my cousins saw them doing it and wanted to try it too. And that turned into me and all my cousins learning to do it on movies we already knew. And I just kind of dragged everyone else here along into it without really thinking. Sorry."

>A voice from the classroom door said "No need to be sorry Anonymous. That was wonderful."

>Everyone turned toward the voice and found it came from Principal Celestia!

Anonymous responded with a somewhat bashful "Oh, um, thank you."

>Principal Celestia then asked "Are you able to do that with the rest of the movie?"

"Oh geez, this is going to sound like bragging." I said. "But yeah. The Lion King was a favorite with my grandparents, so I know blocking for most of the numbers. I can give direction for the numbers Simba isn't in like Be Prepared too. The big exception is Circle of Life. Not much to be done with that I'm afraid."

>Principal Celestia then took up a post next to Mrs. Kinnecht and said "Well then, please continue." with a gentle smile.

>We then continued into Hakuna Matata where Rarity's Timon was as touchy as the role allowed And Applejack surprised us with apple slices as prop grubs!

>(Yes we had skipped Be Prepared due to time constraints.)

>Then it was time for "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" with Simba, Nala, Timon, and Puumba.

>Mrs. Kinnecht had us start in an odd place with some dialogue before the song.

>Nala gently says to Timon and Puumba "Could you guys excuse us for a few minutes?"

>Timon responds with "Hey. Whatever she has to say, she can say in front of us. Right Simba?"

Simba says "Hm, maybe you'd better go."

>Timon gives a lightly exaggerated shocked reaction and says "It starts. You think you know a guy." as he and Puumba head off to in front of the teachers desk.

By way of explanation, Simba says "Timon and Puumba. You learn to love em."

>Nala walks slowly away looking disappointed and hanging her head.

Simba follows while asking "What? What is it?"

>Unknown to Anonymous, Sunset has been inspired by Rarity to use this scene to get as close to Anonymous as possible!

>Nala hesitates a moment and says "It's like you're back from the dead. You don't know what this will mean to everyone! What it means to me!"

>Simba tries to comfort her by saying "Hey, it's ok."

>Nala goes up to Simba and starts snuggling with him while saying "I really missed you."

Simba returns her snuggling while saying "I really missed you too."

>While most of the class is enjoying watching Sunset make progress, the scene cuts to Timon and Puumba.

>Timon let's out an exasperated sigh and declares "This stinks!"

>Puumba reflexively says "Sorry."

>Timon says "Not you! Them! Him, her, alone."

>Puumba is confused and asks "What's wrong with that?"

>Timon starts singing "I can see what's happening."

>Puumba asks "What?

>Timon continues "And they don't have a clue.

>Puumba asks "Who?"

>Timon proceeds on with "They'll fall in love and here's the bottom line. Our trio's down to two!"

>Puumba finally gets it and says "Oh."

>Timon gets descriptive "The sweet caress of twilight. There's magic everywhere! And with all this romantic atmosphere, disasters in the air!"

>Nala leads Simba to a waterfall flirtaciously while singing "Can you feel the love tonight? The peace the evening brings? The world for once, in perfect harmony, with all it's living things."

Simba sings internally "So many things to tell her. But how to make her see? The truth about my past? Impossible! She'd turn away from me!"

>Nala is also singing internally "He's holding back, he's hiding. But what I can't decide. Why won't he be the King I know he is! The King I see inside!"

>Simba and Nala sing a duet as they play and frolic on the plains "Can you feel the love tonight? The peace the evening brings? The world, for once, in perfect harmony with all it's living things."

>Where the film has them play fighting and tumbling down a hillside, Anonymous instead offers Sunset a ballroom dancing pose with a hand on her waist and the other outstretched. She takes him up on the offer and he spins them three times before stopping and gazing into her eyes.

>The duet continues "Can you feel the love tonight?" And Nala licks Simba's cheek, much to his surprise.

>"You needn't look to far." As Sunset gives a relaxed and inviting smile to the surprised Anonymous. Who is unsure how to react.

>But he finds his nerve and goes in for a romantic snuggle with Nala as the duet continues "Stealing through the night's uncertainties. Love is where they are."

>The scene cuts back to Timon and Puumba with Timon singing "And if he falls in love tonight, it can be assumed."

>Puumba joins in to express regret "His carefree days with us are history."

>Together Timon and Puumba finish with "In short our pal is doomed!"

>The classroom breaks into applause with the Principal and teacher leading.

>Sunset is still holding Anonymous close and he is not sure just why that is...

"Anonymous says "Um, while this is very nice, I really should be making sure everyone who helped gets recognized. You were great by the way."

>Sunset seems reluctant to let him go, but relents after getting complimented. "Oh all right. Go do your job my King."

Finally free to move about, Anonymous first responds a bit formally with "It shall be done my Queen." Then turns to the class and says "Thank you everyone! Thank you for putting up with my craziness so brilliantly! Give yourselves a round of applause!"

"Now would all my actors join us up at the front to take a bow please?" I asked and everyone came up and we all bowed at once as time was short.

"And last but not least! Pinkie come up here! Wasn't she amazing folks? Take a well earned bow Pinkie."

"All right thank you again everyone and we now return the class to our tolerant teacher Mrs. Kinnecht." And then I took my seat smiling.

>Mrs. Kinnecht said "All right kids, you may talk among yourselves quietly for the remainder of class."

>Fluttershy quietly said "Wow Anonymous. Your grandparents taught you to do all of that?"

Anonymous returned her quiet energy while being thankful for a chance to calm down. "Yeah. Like I said, there was a special show where they did that and that's where they met and fell in love."

>Sunset added "Yeah that was incredible. We're going to want to add you to our contacts and socials so we can talk more about this." As she got out her phone.

>Six other phones also came out with their owners smiling expectantly.

Anonymous said a bit bashfully "Oh wow. That happened quicker than I had any right to expect. Um, the truth of the matter is, I don't have a cell phone."

>What is the sound of 7 eyebrows twitching?

"Not on social media either I'm afraid."

>Rarity beat everyone else to the punch "Not on social media? Whyever not darling?"

"Well it has to do with trying to be a better version of myself, like I said during the introductions. I've had issues with taking conflicts way, way to far so I need to stay away from conflicts as best possible while I learn how to manage better. And unfortunately social media has a LOT of conflict, so just never got on it. Safer that way."

>Twilight decided to pitch in and said "I'm curious kohai. How did your previous girlfriends deal with you not having a phone?"

>The other 6 girls were thinking "Nice one!"

"Well I've never had a girlfriend, so it's never been an issue. Just never had any luck in love I guess. BUT it gives me more time to work on myself, so there's that to consider."

>These statements almost took Twilight to her limit. This guy might not have movie star looks but 5 minutes with him showed a LOT of qualities that would impress girls. Even if the girl to boy ratio wasn't so lopsided, he should have had a few girlfriends by now. That left one conclusion.

>All 7 girls arrived at the same answer. He must be dense!

>Dude seemed to have absolutely NO IDEA that the seven girls next to him would jump his bones if they could get him alone! Rainbow might not even wait that long!

>It wasn't like there wasn't a certain charm in him not judging girls by their outward sexual qualities. He hadn't been nice to them with the intent of getting into their pants for instance. He just wanted to be nice.

>Many of the girls had no idea how to proceed at this point. But Pinkie asked "So what do you do for fun then?"

"Well mostly I read." Anonymous said. "I also play an ancient online game on a private server, but mostly read."

>Applejack followed up with "That's cool. What kind of books do you read?"

"Well I like science fiction. Military history can be pretty interesting, and I like learning about military technology like vehicles too."

>Rainbow added on "What about music and movies?"

"I'm pretty weak on music honestly. I mean I listen to rock and pop mostly, but outside of Weird Al, I have a hard time connecting an artist to a song they did. For movies I have a big love of old musicals. I'll try almost anything animated, and from there it's the guy standards of Sci Fi, action, and comedy."

>Pinkie spoke up to say "Oh, I like Weird Al too!"

Anonymous managed to squeak out a "Nice" before the bell rang and was off to his next class.

 

>After the classroom emptied out Principal Celestia asked Mrs. Kinnecht "What did you think of Anonymous?"

>Mrs. Kinnecht paused a moment to gather her thoughts and answered "He has talent without a doubt. And that often indicates power. He called himself an introvert during introductions to help calm Fluttershy. In fact I don't think he said one mean or harmful thing all class long. Fairly unusual for a boy his age. Overall I'd say it looks like those girls have some work to do to tame him, but they seem up to it."

>Principal Celestia then added her 2 cents. "Yes every indication is he's very powerful. That's why he was the number one seed who got assigned to 7 of our best freshman girls. Please keep an eye on him and report anything you think is worthwhile. Those kids are our best hope to reverse our fortunes and save the school."

 

>Fast forward to lunchtime and the girls have found a table and left a space for Anonymous between Sunset and Pinkie. They are keeping an active eye out for Anonymous as the talk among themselves.

>Rainbow said with intensity "No. Phone?!? What the hell?"

>As the other girls started to add their own grumblings Sunset held up her hand for them to be quiet. When the were she said "Alright, so things aren't going to be as simple and easy as we hoped. But we are smart, motivated, and HORNY! So let's assess what worked and what didn't and come up with a new plan. He's still a nice guy with a lot going for him! We can DO this!"

>Rainbow added "And then do HIM!" with a smile.

>Applejack wasn't against working for what she wanted and asked "Ok, so what do we know and what approaches should we try?"

>Fluttershy said quietly "H-he was really nice to me after I made mistakes during the introductions."

>Pinkie said "I think he was nice to all of us."

>Rarity said "He looked honestly surprised we might want his phone number."

>Sunset said "He also didn't start any conversations besides acting in front of the class.

>Twilight offered a conclusion with "Taking those last two comments into consideration, I'm not sure he even came to school with any expectation to make friends, let alone more than friends."

>Sunset said "That is making an uncomfortable amount of sense. What the hell happened that makes someone shut down like that?"

>Rainbow said "It must have been something to big for him to laugh or shrug off. Nothing any of us have experienced since we didn't shut down."

>Sunset said "Ok, so we need to GENTLY find out about his past while we try to get his pants off."

>Fluttershy signaled and said "Um, Sunset? Since he doesn't have a phone, he can't send a pic. How do we resolve that?"

>Sunset replied with "Well that IS a good question! Hmmm, how about we agree that before we can take his virginity he has to take a dick pic with the lucky girl's phone? Sound good?"

>The other girls all nodded in agreement.

>Then Rainbow asked "Hey shouldn't he have been here by now? Where's Anonymous?"

 

>As the girls got up to do a more active search in the cafeteria, Anonymous was up on the roof reading.

>He had already finished his meager lunch of 2 plain bologna sandwiches.

>There were a couple of other kids on the roof that had gotten there before him. Looked like they were smoking but if they didn't bother him, he wouldn't bother them. So he found a seat against an AC unit on a different part of the roof and settled in.

>Then he heard the singing.

>It sounded like some girls wordlessly vocalizing. And it was getting louder and decidedly heading to the roof.

>Three girls came out onto the roof vocalizing and went over to the other two kids.

>Anonymous kept tabs on what was happening while he tried to read at the same time.

>The three singers surrounded the two smokers and one of the singers just pointed towards the door.

>The two smokers gathered up their gear and walked to the door with their heads hung low.

>Then the singers sauntered over to where Anonymous was and the one who had pointed asked "Well well, what do we have here?" While the other two were still vocalizing.

"Hello. My name is Anonymous and I'm a freshman here."

>"Hello Anonymous. My name is Adagio and these two are Sonata and Aria. Together we are the CHS disciplinary committee."

"Huh." I said with my curiosity sparked "I've only heard that term in a few Japanese shows. May I ask what the disciplinary committee does at CHS?"

>Adagio responded with "Of course. We act as additional eyes and ears for the administration and staff. Also we have some discretionary permission to punish rule breakers and interlopers as needed."

"I'm surprised that's needed to be honest. I don't think I've broken any rules, but I'd like to ask to be sure."

>Adagio gave an easy chuckle and said "Well isn't that upstanding of you? As it happens students aren't allowed on the roof without express permission."

"Aw heck. In my defense, I didn't see a sign and the door was open."

>Adagio said "Also if you had lunch up here, you also cleaned up after yourself."

"Well yeah I cleaned up. In my experience littering and other rule breaking only leads to unwanted attention and long uncomfortable conversations. As an introvert I find obeying the rules to generally be worth the effort to avoid those."

>Adagio said "Well you raise a good point about the signs, but why aren't you in the cafeteria with your friends?"

"It's only the first day. I don't have any friends yet." Anonymous answered as if this was the most natural statement in the world. "Next week I'm figuring the guy nerds will start to signal each other and congregate. I'll have friends then."

>Adagio wrestled with the urge to shout several different things, but instead calmly asked "Why only guys? Couldn't some girls be friends too?"

"They could but, ah geez this is gonna sound sexist. The simple truth of the matter is it's easier for me to understand other guys. The more understanding I have, the less conflict I get into. And I REALLY want to avoid conflict. I mean, now that I think about it some of the girls I met today were pretty nice, but I think guy friends are the way to go if I have to have friends at all."

>Adagio was a bit stunned by that "IF you have to have friends at ALL? What has to happen for that even to be on the table?"

"Well while I appr." Suddenly Anonymous stopped talking in mid sentence. Then he tried to restart "Appr" It seemed he couldn't get the word out so like Porky Pig, he changed his approach. "It's fine to be curious, but a new school is a chance for a brand new start and I can't do that if I bring up my old baggage to everyone that might ask."

>Adagio smiled internally. He had finally had a stumble due to their truth song. Still it wasn't really any big deal if he didn't appreciate the curiosity. So instead she asked "Did it have anything to do with getting into fistfights?"

>He understood immediately she had seen that in his body language. He had seen the same thing in them too, so there was little point complaining or denying.

"That was some of it, yeah. But I'm trying to get away from that. I'd really prefer to be peaceful. It's among the things I'm working on."

>Adagio admitted "Well it's commendable that you want to reform yourself. I also think having friends would help heal the hurt you've obviously suffered. Maybe you might give those nice girls you mentioned more of a chance? At any rate, it's time to shoo you off the roof. You weren't trying to break any rules so this is just a warning not to come back up here without express permission ok?"

"I suppose I should take your advice on those girls. They did handle my craziness pretty well after all. And thank you for letting me off with a warning."

>A satisfied Adagio conversationally asked "What kind of craziness did you do?"

"I, uh, whimsically turned our line reading of The Lion King into a full on stage production in front of the class." Anonymous sheepishly admitted.

>Adagio was impressed "And the teacher allowed that?"

"Yeah. And then Principal Celestia came by and encouraged it too."

>Adagio needed to turn her attention to other things and merely said "Wow. Well you should go find those nice girls and give them another chance Anonymous! See you later!"

>As soon as Anonymous was out of sight, Adagio said "Please edit that conversation into a sound clip so we can send it to his girls. That boy is going to give us some trouble."

>Sonata asked "Why do you say he's going to give us trouble?"

>Adagio replied "Because he can't obey the rules no one has told him about. Plus if Celestia checked on him on the first day, he's a high ranked seed. Which means his girls might have a shot at replacing US after we graduate. And you know what happens to the school if we can't be replaced right?"

>Sonata dejectedly answered "Yeah." Obviously preferring not to think about it.

>Adagio carried on "Yeah. So we can't have him just quietly reading during lunch. But he's to important to treat recklessly. We need him in the cafeteria getting tamed by his girls. But we can't tell him all of that yet, so THAT's why he's going to give us trouble."

>Sonata just said "Fuck."

 

>A few minutes later Sunset got a picture text showing Anonymous sitting down and reading titled 'Lose something?' There was also a sound clip attached.

>Sunset summoned all of the searching girls back to their table and forwarded the text to all of them as she got a head start on listening to it.

>Sunset pondered what to do until everyone had finished listening and said "I think I have an outline of a plan, but I want to hear all of your thoughts first.

>Twilight said "It's as bad as we thought. He's been hurt and is having a hard time letting his guard down as a result."

>Pinkie said "I think we have to work our way into the friendzone first."

>Rarity said "Unlike most boys our age, he doesn't seem to be ruled by his hormones. In fact, I don't believe he's thinking about us in sexual terms at all yet."

>Applejack said "On the plus side, we can believe whatever he tells us. Boy seems addicted to telling the truth so far."

>Rainbow said "He's being cautious in who he calls a friend because that has meaning to him."

>Fluttershy said "He's being nice to everyone so they don't hurt him."

>Sunset nodded as she briefly mulled over what had been said. "I think you all raise some good points. We're going to have to go a lot slower than we originally thought. I think we should focus on earning his trust and friendship. He won't give them to us just because we have girl parts. We want him here with us at lunch, but we can't be pushy about it. We can go ahead with individual gambits to send the message that we're interested, but no big massive swings yet. Remember he'll react badly if he isn't given a chance to consent and that sets us ALL back. He has to be able to say 'no' and still be willing to talk to us."

>Rainbow said "Slow and gentle isn't really my best area."

>Applejack said "That's ok. just go for small victories and it will pile up. And be ready to laugh it off if he says no."

>Rarity asks "Sunset, what was your impression of him during the play when you got to touch him?"

>Sunset said "Now that you mention it, he was fairly stiff. Was that your impression as well?"

>Rarity responded "Decidedly stiff. I don't think he's used to being touched."

>Twilight said "We need to address THAT with a quickness. We can't have him LITERALLY afraid to touch us."

>Pinkie said "Then how about we start 'hug practice' in first period?"

>Fluttershy perked up a bit and said "Oooh!"

>Sunset said "Sounds like an idea Pinkie. How do you see it happening?"

>Pinkie explained "Oh it should be simple. We make a show of hugging each other when we get to class and then one of us looks at him and says 'Your turn!' and then we each get a turn hugging him."

>Then Sunset played devils advocate "And if he balks?"

>Pinkie gamely declared "Well HE was the one who said he wanted to improve himself, and he basically will NEED to be able to touch folks when he's an adult. And how many times does he think an opportunity like this will come around?"

>Sunset said "Solid sales pitch Pinkie. Anyone else have anything to add?"

>No one did.

>Then lunch ended and the next time all 7 girls had a class with Anonymous was in PE.

>The girls didn't have any big plans in PE today so they were mostly just friendly while ogling Anonymous's butt when they could.

>They hadn't wanted to start hugging practice in PE because they were worried about being sweaty.

>The next day happens and as I go to class, the 3 girls near the maintenance closet are eyeballing me and giving off weird vibes.

>But that's all they're doing so I ignore it.

>When I get to class, those nice girls are hugging each other as I excuse myself past them and sit at my desk.

>Suddenly Pinkie signals for my attention and as I look up, she has her arms outstretched and is saying "Your turn!" with a smile.

"My turn,.. for a hug?" I ask.

>Pinkie just says "Yup!" and her smile never wavers.

As I get up, I say "Well I suppose actual human contact is good for me."

>My response may have been a bit slow for her because she wrapped her arms around me before I could get my arms fully out. "Yes it is!" she brightly insisted.

>I ended up wrapping my arms around her waist.

>It had been a LONG time since I had hugged anyone and I was pretty stiff at it.

>But I felt less awkward about that because Pinkie was pressing her chest into mine!

>I hadn't really noticed their chests yesterday because what would be the point?

>But now I was forced to notice.

>Partly because Pinkie had a LARGE chest! Maybe D cups? Hard for me to say really.

Then the hug was over and as I released her I said "T-thank you. That was VERY nice." with obvious gratitude.

>I was about to sit back down when Sunset cleared her throat.

>So I turned to Sunset to discover SHE now had her arms outstretched towards me.

"Oh! Um, ok." I said as the taller girl let me approach.

>She leaned forward at the last moment to control the hug.

>Her being in control was perfectly fine with me.

>Again, I was noticing her chest! It wasn't where I WANTED my mind to go, but I couldn't seem to help myself!

>That didn't make ANY sense to me.

Soon the hug was over and I gave another sincerely grateful "Thank you." to Sunset.

>Sunset looked very pleased to hear that.

>Then a scratchy voice said "Me next." and I turned to see Rainbow Dash ready to hug me.

As I moved to her I mused aloud "I'm beginning to think I'm dreaming."

>Rainbow smiled at that as she embraced me and asked "Aw. Am I your dream girl?"

"Well this kind of incredible thing only happens in my dreams." I said "So it seems reasonable to wonder?"

>While that puzzled me a bit, I stopped thinking about it when I saw Twilight/Senpai standing on my desk chair with her arms outretched to me.

>My eyes were wide with amazement, but I knew that was a precarious perch so I positioned myself carefully so I could support her if she lost balance before going for the hug.

>Once I started to move in, she suddenly grabbed my HEAD and pulled it against her chest!

>Then she proceeded to twist her chest back and forth so her A cups were alternatively pressing against my forehead!

When she released me I told her "That was breathtaking! Thank you! Also may I help you down please?"

>Senpai had a beaming smile and pronounced "Yes you may kohai, Thank you."

>As soon as I set her down she moved out of the way so Fluttershy could step up.

>But Fluttershy was holding her hands behind her back as she looked at me with an easy smile.

>Her smile widened as she nodded.

>As I leaned in for the hug, once again the girl was quicker than I was and she pressed her bountiful bosoms into me. This nice quiet girl had double D's! She was almost as tall as me too at about 5'9"! But I couldn't tell if she was wearing heels just now.

>Why in the hell was I thinking about her shoes?!? MASSIVE tits were happening!

>As Fluttershy sat back down at her desk with a wide smile, all eyes went to Rarity.

I could only nod and say "Okay." as I followed her to the back of the class.

>Rainbow mimed swatting Anonymous's ass after he passed.

>When he got to the back, Rarity suddenly turned around and leaned into the hug with Anonymous. Catching him by surprise yet again!

>Did she have jewelry on her bra? There were two really hard points on the tip of her petite C cups! Anonymous had never heard of a bra like that, but it was the only explanation he could think of.

>Naturally he would NOT ask about her bra! That would be going way, WAY to far!

Eventually they broke the hug and Anonymous said "T-thank you. It's hard to express how amazing this has been!"

>Rarity's eyes flashed brightly as she proclaimed "Oh it's no bother darling. We hug each other all of the time so adding you in is no trouble."

"I guess I just didn't know how starved I was for touch." I admitted.

>Rarity had a compassionate smile and tone as she said "Well we'll get you into shape there soon enough. But first I have to ask what may be a,.. delicate question?"

"Right now I feel like you can ask me any question you want." I said with confidence.

>Rarity hesitated a bit before her eyes refocused and she said "Ah, yes, well,.. Can I ask what aftershave you're wearing dear?"

>At that I hung my head. She HAD to know the answer already. I felt like the smelly boy I probably was. Still, I should answer her honestly and get this over with.

"I,.. uh.. The only scent I'm wearing is from whatever deodorant I'm sharing with my dad. Sorry."

>Rarity was back to being compassionate in her look and tone as she said "Now don't fret darling. We knew what catching you by surprise could mean. The main question I need to ask is how will you prepare for hugs tomorrow?"

"Tomorrow?" I parroted, then tried to come up with an answer and failed. "I'm sorry to say I don't know the answer."

>Rarity said "That's okay darling. I'm very glad you can be honest with me in delicate areas like this. So I'll give you the answers okay?"

I nodded and said "Thank you."

>Rarity informed me "So after school tonight, you're going to buy your own deodorant and some aftershave or cologne. We can experiment with different types later but for tonight just get something that's name brand. Then tomorrow morning allow yourself enough time for a shower and shampoo before school and then apply those products before you get dressed alright?"

"I, I can do that!" I said with a small smile.

>Rarity beemed as she said "Excellent darling! Now just one more thing. If you have any other hygiene or grooming questions, I want you to know you can come to me and safely ask okay?"

With a quick nod I said "Yes. Thank you." and we returned to our seats.

>It seemed like Mrs. Kinnecht had waited for us to finish before starting class. That was weird. Normally you'd have expected her to tell us to stop and give the class priority wouldn't you?

>High school is odd in the most unexpected ways.

>The rest of first period passed pretty much uneventfully.

 

>At lunch in the cafeteria, the girls started gushing amongst themselves.

>Twilight said "Did you see how effortlessly and gently he lifted me? Oh I wanted to wrap my legs around him and rip his shirt off!"

>Rainbow said "I totally get that! I'm still in awe that I got to smack and grab his butt and he THANKED me!"

>Fluttershy said "I wanted to grab his butt and make him thrust his hips into me!

>Rarity said "When he looked into my eyes and said 'You can ask me any question you want', SO many things ran through my mind! I could barely remember what I was supposed to say next!"

>Pinkie then asked "Hey girls, I went first so I don't know, but did any of you figure out the size of his..?"

>Everyone shook their heads.

>Pinkie said "Darnit. I was hoping to learn how many donuts I could stack on it." With a lusty smile.

>Sunset said "We'll get him there soon I'm sure. You have to remember we surprised him. Also he clearly isn't used to thinking that girls want him. We'll get him there, but we need to break him down in small steps like we did today. Today was an absolute WIN! We got him started on the idea of touching us!"

>Twilight said "I'll make a play tomorrow then, It can be laughed off if it crashes and if it succeeds we could see an erection through his clothes!"

>Sunset said "Sounds good to me! Anyone have an objection?"

>Applejack said "Not an objection. I just wanted to try something on the next day."

>Sunset declared "Alright. Sounds good. And I'll take Friday. If for some reason he isn't hopping between our beds this weekend, then we can strategize to get him there!"

>Fluttershy then said "Umm, has anyone else noticed he isn't here yet?"

>The other 6 girls all looked around and said at the same time "Aw, not again!"

 

>At the same time, Adagio too was saying "Aw, not again!"

>This was because she had just spotted Anonymous sitting down against a classroom door reading again.

Anonymous looked up and innocently asked "What?" as if he was surprised she had felt the need to comment. "I'm not breaking any rules this time."

>Adagio stated "No you're not. But Anonymous, we talked about this. Weren't you going to give those nice girls you mentioned another chance?"

Anonymous's face brightened as he declared "I did! And it was GREAT! Every one of them hugged me today!"

>Adagio said "Well good for you! That's great to hear! But why aren't you with them right now?"

"Well, can I tell you something in confidence?" I asked.

>Adagio simply answered "That depends. We're required to react to rule breaking."

"Oh no rules broken." I said "It's just me being embarrassed is all."

>Adagio relented at hearing this "In that case, yeah we can keep your secrets." And she nodded at the other two who both nodded back. "What happened?"

"Well, after they had all hugged me, the prettiest one took me aside and started giving me advice on my hygiene and grooming."

>Adagio said "Go on." when Anonymous had paused.

"I mean, she was REAL nice about it, but I couldn't help but realize that I wasn't really properly prepared to be so physically CLOSE to girls."

>Adagio patiently asked "How do you mean?"

Anonymous finally came out with it. "I don't want them thinking I'm a 'smelly boy'. These girls are NICE and fun to be around. I don't want to disappoint them like that! Now the pretty girl gave me a plan for tonight and tomorrow. So tomorrow I'll be MUCH better prepared. But for today, I'm just a bit embarrassed is all."

>Adagio admitted "Well it DOES sound like you took my advice and gave them a chance at least."

"I think it's more along the lines that they keep giving ME chances? I dunno. Never had anything like this happen to me before, so I'm not entirely sure how to react. Does ANY of that make sense?" I asked in confusion.

>Adagio softly chuckled and said "A lot more than you might think. Alright we have to move on. Stay safe if you're gonna be out here ok?" The three waving as they left.

I waved back and replied "Okay, you too." and got back to my reading.

>When they were around the corner and out of earshot, Sonata asked "Should we have left him there?"

>Adagio sighed and said "Didn't see a better choice. It's only the second day and we need him to trust us if there's an emergency. And you heard him, he's to embarrassed to be with his girls today. We'll tighten our patrol to keep an eye on that hallway today. Best we can do."

>Sonata nodded.

>On Tuesdays and Thursdays our PE class was in the weight room.

>The door to the weight room was located between the rear locker room doors. A narrow hallway led to a room that was a little small for the class size. There was a good variety of equipment, but many of the girls didn't want to use the larger equipment.

Anonymous admitted "I have NO idea what I'm doing in here."

>Applejack said easily "That's alright. Rainbow and I know a bit about this stuff. We'd be glad to show ya."

"I'm in your hands then." I declared and let them lead the way.

>A few things about the weight room session stood out to Anonymous.

>First, the tighter space of the weight room seemed to mean there was a lot of 'accidental' contact with the girls. Rainbow's hand on his butt quickly stopped being surprising as an example.

>When it was time for him to rest between sets or there was a wait for the next machine he would sit down and there would be a girl on his lap 'due to a lack of chairs'.

>These seven girls were keeping a CLOSE watch on him and it was difficult not to feel he was being managed for some unknown reason.

>His attention was always being directed to one of them!

>His teenage brain was to rebellious to accept this.

>So Anonymous came up with an idea.

>The girls didn't know all of his jokes yet. So he would tell a good one and they would all briefly close their eyes with laughter or look away.

>When they did that, he could look around briefly.

>When he did that, he discovered EVERY guy had a set of girls hanging around them.

>At least 3, but that was the low end.

>Anonymous had no idea what to do with this information, so he filed it away in case it was important later.

>Strangely enough Twilight seemed to be in her element here.

I protested "I'm not trying to 'get away' with anything. The handshake is only to display good sportsmanship. She won fair and square. Now as to the other thing, once everyone is here, I would like to suggest a better prize. But I need you all to agree first."

"I'm thinking 3 things. First she gets to touch my butt however she wants. Second, I'll assume any pose for her she wants that I can reasonably manage. >Then Fluttershy said "Anon I wanted to ask you something important to me. Is that okay?"

>"Well next Friday is my birthday and I wanted to invite you over." Fluttershy stated.

"Fluttershy, I would be honored to come to your birthday party. What time should I come?"

>With a smile Fluttershy said "Oh around 6 is fine. I'll write down instructions on how to get to my place for you. Oh I should ask about food. Is there anything you're allergic to or don't like?"

"I tend to avoid spicy things. I don't have any known allergies, but please keep onions away from me."

>Fluttershy asked "Now I'm curious. What happens with you and onions?"

I sighed and said "Normally I'd try to avoid admitting it, but onions give me very smelly gas."

>Fluttershy stifled a giggle and said "I understand. Thank you for telling me and thank you for agreeing to help me celebrate my birthday."

"Like I said, I'm really glad you invited me. It's been a long time since I've been to a birthday party."

>Later on after class in the locker room as the girls changed they had a conversation.

>Rainbow was saying "Fluttershy I don't get it! You could have had him do SO much more!"

>Fluttershy responded "And I will. I'm just playing a longer game."

>Sunset perked up at that and asked "What are you planning Fluttershy?"

>Fluttershy suddenly got a very sinister smile on her face and explained. "Oh I thought it was obvious. I just invited him over for a fairly innocent evening while giving him a fairly innocent hug. And my parents are innocently out of town next weekend and I have an innocent bottle of wine to share. And then I can find some innocent way to invite him into my bedroom for even more.. innocence!"

>Applejack chimed in "I admit I missed all of that. So by not taking advantage of him you created the illusion that your birthday invitation was a safe casual invitation."

>Pinkie said "NICE one Fluttershy! And we found out some of his food preferences too!"

>Sunset then declared "That reminds me. We also want to invite him to Sugarcube Corner on Saturday. Not for any big plots, but because Pinkie hasn't had much chance to create a connection with Anonymous. Originally the plan was she would get her chance at lunch, but he's been absent. Which has created a weird situation where our introvert has a better connection to him than our extrovert."

>Pinkie said "Thank you Sunset! I was getting a little concerned so I'm glad you noticed!"

>Sunset replied "It's all good Pinkie. It's my job as leader to make sure every one of you gets a chance to make a connection. We had it covered, but HE messed up our plan. Additionally, to give Fluttershy her best chance, if we invite him anywhere outside of school, we have to keep it casual and non-threatening for the time being."

>Then the school day was over.

>Then the next school day was beginning.

>Because the girls had expressed intense concern, Anonymous had held off on masturbating.

>Applejack continued as if she couldn't hear my inner monologue "Time for the championship match." and she took up an arm wrestling pose on my desk.

>Applejack smiled devilishly and said "Now that you mention it, I suppose we COULD make it more interesting."

"Yeah that was always going to happen." I said. "What did you have pre, er, in mind?"

>Applejack continued on unfazed "Oh I know. How about the winner gets to kiss the loser?"

"An interesting proposal. May I articulate a few thoughts?"

>Applejack replied "Be my guest."

"First, please let me say that I'm both amazed and stunned that a girl as pretty as you would want her lips anywhere near me. I'm just not sure I'm worthy." I said.

>Applejack smiled sweetly and said "You're still a charmer. But whether or not your worthy is up to me to decide. And I say you are."

"Beyond saying thank you, I'm unprepared to react to that so I'll continue. Secondly it doesn't really feel like there's much difference between winning and losing?

>Applejack countered "Then just wait until I win and I'll change your mind."

>Several giggles happened in the background.

"Well that brings me to my third and final thought." I declared. "As I've told you girls before, I've never had a girlfriend. I thought it was implied, but to say it clearly I've never been kissed before either. Now a first kiss is something I've heard you remember forever. Have you heard the same thing?"

>Applejack smiled as she said "Now that you mention it, I think I have heard that somewhere before."

"I've even heard it said, mostly by young ladies, that they have a certain vision of how their first kiss is going to play out." I admitted.

>Applejack smiled gently as she asked "Anonymous, do YOU have a vision of how your first kiss will play out?"

"I do." I said. "Basically I've always imagined that my first kiss will come shortly before the first time I make love to a girl. Although maybe that might be moving a BIT fast I admit."

>Applejack informed me "Well I get where you're coming from, but it's like this. We need you to get to a certain point before we can show you the rest of the puzzle. Once we can DO that, I promise everything will become clear."

"So it's like a leap of faith then. Okay moving on. How would this even get verified? I can only imagine if I won I'd just have to take your word for it. Meanwhile you ladies always seem to be organized and prepared so you probably have something more elaborate in mind for me?"

>Applejack took on a more businesslike tone when she said "Well, while I wouldn't really mind if you verified, it's just I think that process would scare you off. But if I win then the girls and I will do what we're going to call 'bet checks'. Can't reveal the exact processes yet but I CAN promise you it will be easy and gentle. However it's worth mentioning it could take up to 2-5 minutes each time. But it's likely it will take far less. Oh and at least one a day will take place at lunch."

"Wait. Sideline on this. You girls want to eat lunch with me?" I asked while not quite believing it. "Are you sure?"

>Applejack replied casually "Of course we're sure!"

"A-and I won't be imposing?" I asked a little disbelievingly.

>Applejack replied with confidence "Anonymous, we all want you to eat lunch with us."

"Well then," I said a bit nervously "I suppose all that's left on that topic is for me to say I'll be there and thank you."

>Applejack smiled again and said "Good boy. So to recap, the contest is an arm wrestling match between the two of us with the bet being the loser is not to masturbate for 5 days starting from the end of the match. Do you agree?"

>Pinkie then spoke up "What did you mean by role playing Nonny?"

ANOTHER nickname? Guess I was going to have to get used to that. "Well what was in my head at that moment was acting out a character in a tabletop game like D&D or O&O. But it's an easy enough thing to do in a variety of games."

>Pinkie followed up with "'A variety?' how many games do you play Nonny?"

She was sharp! "Um, you know I'm not sure? Afraid I've lost track but I know it's several dozen."

>Sunset reacted first to that. "Several.. dozen?"

"Yeah. It feels like I'm still under a hundred. Sorry but I guess I just stopped keeping track after awhile." I admitted.

>Most of the girls just replied with a modest "Oh."

>But Pinkie asked "What about that 'ancient online game' you mentioned?"

"Well it's older than us." I said as I warmed up to a familiar topic. "It was a subscription based game for several years and then the publisher suddenly abandoned it."

>Senpai of course then asked "If it was abandoned, how can you play it?" right on cue.

"One of the soon-to-be-unemployed devs leaked the code to someone. Some drama happened, and 6 years later the code was released to the public. Now it's running on several free private servers. Many of which have added their own improvements."

>Pinkie then declared "That might be something we can do with you on our days off!"

>Rarity sparked up at that comment and said "Oh that might work out very well. Lovely idea Pinkie."

>Then I gave them my in-game contact info and the rest of class went on without incident.

>Time passed and I was heading to my second floor locker to grab my lunch before heading to the cafeteria.

>Suddenly a LOUD sound was coming from the next hallway over!

>It HAD to be the Disciplinary Committee!

>Without warning a boy about my age came running around the corner at full speed!

>I froze while I examined the situation.

>I didn't recognize the boy.

>Don't think he went to school here.

>While still at full speed, he altered course directly towards me!

>I saw the knife in his right hand!

>He was preparing to do an overhead stab at me from his full run.

>I was still frozen.

>When he was two steps away, I took a step forward and did a palm strike to his head with my right hand while preparing to guard if needed with my left.

>He was completely surprised and taken off of his feet.

>I guided his head into the floor HARD.

>Guy had just tried to kill me. Manners were off the table.

>He was dazed, so I kicked the knife away.

>Couldn't leave him alone as he might attack someone else.

>So I picked up his ankle and dragged him face down to where the Disciplinary Committee was still making a huge racket.

>The Disciplinary Committee had 5 cowering guys cornered and were screaming wordlessly, but VERY loudly at them!

>Suddenly my vision shifted a bit and I could see Adagio and the others were projecting what my brain told me were waves of force from their mouths but the clothing the guys were wearing was partly dispersing those waves!

>They were at a standoff and no one had a clear advantage from what I could quickly see.

>Well fuck that! I was going to help the ladies that had looked out for me!

>I got up a little speed and threw the guy I'd been dragging at the other 5.

>Their clothing didn't blunt THAT and they went down.

>That was all Adagio and her crew needed to move in and secure them.

>Moments later Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna showed up.

>Adagio conferred with them and then came over to talk to me.

>I told her exactly what happened, minus my vision shifting.

>As soon as she heard about the knife, Principal Celestia insisted on inspecting me to confirm I hadn't been wounded.

>I had not.

>Adagio then said "Okay, we may call you during your next class to get your testimony. But for now, get your lunch and go be with your girls."

"Thank you and please take care of yourselves too." I said.

>So I went to the cafeteria and found where the girls were sitting.

>Noted some things of interest as I headed to them.

>When I got there, Pinkie patted the space between herself and Sunset to indicate I should sit there.

> I thanked her and Sunset said "Adagio texted me and said 'Your boy is a badass!' What happened?"

"First, please understand I'm not looking for a reputation as a badass." I said. "That kind of thing only leads to stuff I don't want. But yeah, a boy that doesn't go to this school suddenly came running at me with a knife. So I took him down and I was not gentle. Then I dragged him over to where Adagio and her buddies were in a standoff and helped end it in our school's favor."

>Suddenly Fluttershy commanded me "Anon, get up. We need to inspect you."

I got up and stretched my arms out to either side and said "As you wish but Principal Celestia already did that."

>They still insisted on inspecting me personally.

>They were quite a bit more handsy than the Principal had been!

"Rainbow, I promise you I was not stabbed in the butt." I deadpanned.

>That got several giggles.

>When they stopped with the inspecting, Fluttershy was still visibly upset.

"Fluttershy, can I give you a hug?" She nodded and hugged me as I told her "Don't worry. I promise I won't die before I can come to your birthday party okay?"

>She looked at me and replied "You better not!"

"I still remember that you told me 6 o' clock next Friday. So I'm still coming. Wild horses couldn't keep me away." I said with a small smile.

>At that point she finally got more relaxed and we sat down.

>I finally had a chance to take out my lunch.

>Pinkie sounded concerned as she asked "Um, Nonny, is that all you brought for lunch?"

"Well, yeah. Two baloney sandwiches and a bottle of water." I said.

>Applejack spoke up "I'm on the same page Pinkie. Anon what did you have for breakfast?"

"A bowl of cereal." I said.

>Applejack continued "And what will you have for dinner tonight?"

"A TV dinner." I said.

>Pinkie put her hand over her mouth as she gasped.

>Applejack declared "Anon that isn't enough for a growing boy! Sunset we have to address this pronto!

>Sunset asked "What do you need from me?"

>Applejack said decisively "He's coming to my place tonight so Granny can feed him properly. We can't do anything that would make him not want to go. That weight room game we came up with should be put on hold for now."

>Sunset said "A shame, but you're right. His health IS more important."

>Applejack then turned to me and said "You heard me right Anon? You're coming to my place tonight so we can feed you a proper dinner. I'll have my sister give us a ride there and then back to your place after."

>Applejack then got out her phone to make a call.

>While she was doing that, Pinkie told me "Nonny I'm bringing your lunch tomorrow. No arguments! I was listening when you told Fluttershy what you like. Would some hamburgers be okay?

"Hamburgers sound awesome. Thank you."

>Applejack got off the phone and said "Ok Anon, my Granny is expecting you. Sunset, she wants you along too."

>Sunset and I both said "Thank you."

>Rainbow asked "Anonymous do you know why you were attacked?"

"Going on what I can observe, my best guess is wrong place, wrong time as to me in particular." I answered.

>Rainbow scrunched up her face and said "That was a weird way to answer."

"Well it's just, as I look around this cafeteria, I'm becoming convinced they would have attacked any boy they found."

>Sunset said "Talk to us my King. What are you seeing that makes you say that?"

"First, just to confirm, basically the entire student body is in here right now yeah?"

>Sunset replied "That's our understanding. Why?"

"Because I recognize half of the boys."

Twilight quietly exclaimed "Holy shit!"

>Rainbow said "okay, please help us understand what that means.?"

"Well Rainbow, like all of you I'm a freshman and the only boys I know are also freshmen. And it's a four year school. So how many of the boys I can see SHOULD I know?

>All of the remaining girls quietly said "Holy shit!"

>Twilight then said "Ok ladies, this needs some new rules. We don't talk about Anonymous to anyone we don't know. In real life or online. And we certainly never give his location unless it's an emergency. Any objections?"

>There were none.

"Thank you all!" I said emphatically.

Then I said "Rainbow, your question also implies the question of 'Why did the attack, or raid rather, happen?', which is perfectly reasonable. But I would like to suggest the better question is "Why will it happen again?'."

>Rainbow said "Okay, let's pretend I asked that then."

"Because whatever their objective was, they didn't achieve it. Their objective was important enough to them to send six boys to attack us." I said with certainty. " If it was that important to them today, it will probably still be that important to them tomorrow."

"This implies another question I don't think you ladies want to even ask, so I'll deal with it for you. And that question is 'Would our boys be safer somewhere else?' And the answer is that unless they can move a great distance away easily and very quickly, no."

"The fact of the matter is I feel a good deal safer here." I said. "One might say I wouldn't have been in danger at all if the Disciplinary Committee was able to just catch all 6 at the same time. But I say that because they kept 5 occupied, I only had to face one, which was well within my ability. Please trust that I would have ran if I saw 6 coming at me."

"Another valid question is 'With the gender ratio disparity, why boys?' I can think of 2 reasons for that. First is boys are more easily moved to violence. Second is, if your target is boys, then other boys stand a better chance."

"Still, something about those boys made them expendable. I'd like to know what went into that if only so I can stay on the proper side of that line."

"Anyone got anything else?"

>It was then I finally noticed the girls were all staring at me in stunned silence.

>Rainbow replied with "Woah."

>Pinkie declared "Wow Nonny! That was really impressive!"

>Suddenly Sunset hugged me from behind while saying "Shhh! Please not another word for a bit. I need to calm down."

>Then the hug got tighter and she started softly shaking for about 10 seconds.

>Then she clapped me on the shoulder twice and stood up.

I turned around to look at her and asked "You alright?"

>With a smile I hadn't seen before, she said "Yeah I just need to visit the ladies room."

>Fluttershy quickly said "I'll come with you." and they left together.

>Girls always seemed to visit the potty in at least pairs I mused.

Then a thought struck me and I asked "Did, did I just do something wrong?"

>Rarity quickly said with a smile "Not at ALL dear. In fact I suspect you did something very, very right."

"Well, that's better then, I suppose." I said with half-hearted conviction.

>Meanwhile, in the ladies room. Once Sunset came out of the stall, Fluttershy asked "Was that what I think it was?" with a beaming smile.

>Sunset proudly declared "Hell yes it was! That boy's mind is SEXY! Do you know that Twilight and I would probably have spent about 5 times the amount of time he just did with those deductions and probably only gotten half as far?"

>Fluttershy inquired "So that's good right?"

>Sunset proclaimed "Hells YES it's good! We need that boy fully on our team! With him we may not be stuck on defense but able to smartly launch some pre-emptive strikes of our own! Anon has a mind for strategy none of us do and with him we have a much better chance!"

>Fluttershy gave a soft and cheerful "Yay. So what's our next step?"

>Sunset furrowed her brow and shared "Well we've still got the same problems. We can't share more information with him until he has sex with at least one of us and we're allowed to officially tame him. But Applejack and Pinkie have a point in that he needs to eat better if he's going to have 7 girlfriends. I'll ask Granny for advice tonight."

>Then lunch was over and it was off to class.

>Well that's how it was supposed to go, but the Principal and Vice Principal wanted to ask me about the attack.

>They just wanted to hear it from my view and were concerned if I was alright or not.

>So I gave them the same basic story I had given the Disciplinary Committee of how it went down minus my vision shifting.

>Whole thing took about 10 minutes.

>I suspected they just wanted to see if I was stressed about attempted murder. Which seemed like it would be a reasonable concern for most folks.

But my attitude was "While I'm trying to get away from a pattern of violent behavior, what happened today was just self defense. My opponent was forgettably weak and not worth spending further time on. I just hope I can avoid any reputation for violence from this. That's my only real concern."

>Now I can understand there's one train of thought that says it's wrong of me to keep secrets from them.

>But trust is a two-way street and they weren't being very forthcoming either.

>To be fair, it's only my fourth day at school and I can see how I haven't earned a lot of trust just yet.

>But it was very worth noting that attempted murder had happened to me and there were no cops yet involved.

>I had nowhere near enough information to make sense of THAT, so all I could do was note it for now.

>The next thing of significance was PE.

>And today was weight room day.

>Once in the weight room, we congregated in a corner to start where my Queen informed me "My King we pushed you a little hard in here on Tuesday and we want you to know we're going to go easier on you today."

>Rainbow continued "Yeah we can't do any REAL strength training until we get you eating properly or it could go wrong and it would be easier to get hurt. So the exercise is on the light side today."

>Applejack said "Remember, you and Sunset are coming over to my place so my Granny can feed you a proper meal. And we're taking you home as soon as you're ready."

>Senpai continued with "We had a fun little game for the end of class today all worked up, but we'll move that to another day so you don't get squirrelly. Your health is more important and we all agree on that."

"Thank you." I said with relief. "I really do appreciate all of the consideration."

>Then Rarity piped up with a singsong "Oh Anonymous?"

"Yes Rarity?" I answered alertly.

>With a sweet smile, Rarity informed me "It's time for your first 'bet check' darling."

I held my hands up in mock surrender and asked "Okay, what do you want me to do?"

>Rarity was still smiling as she said "Oh I DO love how quickly you agree to do what you're told! But for now I just want you to sit in that chair." And she pointed to one in the center of a row of three.

I sat down as instructed and commented "Well that sounds easy enough."

>Rarity agreed by saying "Yes Darling. You were told the bet checks would be easy and gentle after all. Ladies?"

>At Rarity's signal Pinkie sat down on my right and Fluttershy on my left.

>Rarity wasn't done! "Now Anonymous, I want you to put your arms around Pinkie's and Fluttershy's shoulders. As if you were trying to keep them warm on a cold winter night."

>When I had done as she asked Rarity said "Ladies please put your heads on his shoulders as if you were falling asleep

>Pinkie said "This is cozy.

"I have to admit, so far this is downright soothing." I commented.

>With a soft chuckle Rarity continued with "Well not yet anyway."

>And then Rarity leaned back into me and sighed contentedly.

I wasn't in much of a mood to refuse, so I said "Go ahead."

>Pinkie quickly said "Yup!"

>Fluttershy responded with "Well if he can't wear G-strings or thongs all the time, then briefs are okay I guess."

>Pinkie said "Oh he would look GREAT in a thong!"

>Fluttershy just said "Mm-hmm."

>Rarity gently smiled and said "Indeed. Now Anonymous, I'm ever so curious to hear your question."

"Yes, well, it's probably silly, but are you wearing jeweled bras?"

>Rarity managed to remember to give a gentle response and said "Why no darling. Bras don't often have jewelry. May I ask why you asked that so I can perhaps give you a better answer?"

"Sure." I said. "It's just when we hug, I notice two hard points and jewelry was the only thing I could think of."

>Rarity blinked twice in surprise, then recovered and gently said "I see. Well Anonymous I'm going to take a quick break before answering that. You see we weren't trying to overexcite you on the first bet check. This was only really supposed to be to get you used to the idea. However it seems to be turning into a course on female sexual responses. And while we certainly want you to have that information, We had rather already assumed it would be basic common knowledge on your part. Now are you feeling a bit calmer?"

"Um, yeah I think I am." I said while trying to project some confidence.

>Rarity's eyes widened in realization and she informed "Anonymous I've just had an Idea. Twilight have you been listening?"

>Senpai responded "Yup."

>Rarity continued "Could you be a dear and find a website with the type of information Anonymous needs and write it down for him please?"

>Senpai said "You got it!" and went to it.

>Rarity said "Thank you." and then turned back to Anonymous and said "That should help a bit. But the answer to your question is you felt my nipples. Would you like to ask any follow up questions?"

"But they were HARD?" I intoned.

>Rarity resumed a gentle smile and clarified "Yes darling. You see, like a very certain part of YOUR body, my nipples can get engorged with blood when I'm excited. And that can make them MUCH harder. Does that make sense dear?"

"I suppose?"

>Rarity gently concluded with "That's good enough for now. When you're ready to accept it I'm sure that marvelous brain of yours will make all of the connections. But we don't have to push you to it today. And with that, your first bet check is over."

>Rarity got up with a big smile on her face, but the other two didn't seem to want to move. As I was trying to figure out how to handle this, my Queen approached me.

>Sunset said "My King, I heard you were worried you may have done something wrong at lunch and I wanted to assure you that you did not."

"Thank you my Queen, I'm very glad you told me that. I know it's silly but sometimes I just get worried." I told her.

>Sunset replied with a gentle smile "My King it would only have been silly if you hadn't let someone know. But because you did, that worry could be addressed. As teenagers, ALL of us are prone to doubts and worries. It's perfectly natural."

>Then Sunset got a wicked smile and declared "Well if those two aren't letting you up, then we should decide who gets time in your lap next. Let's see, given who's gotten your attention today it comes down to Rainbow and Twilight. But Rainbow hasn't had ANY time in your lap while Twilight has. That sound fair you two?"

>Twilight replied "Yeah that's fine. I'm still trying to find a good website for him anyway."

>Rainbow said "Aw yeah! 'bout time he touched MY butt anyway. Thanks Twilight." with a smile.

>Rainbow had a wide smile as she sat in my lap and asked "Hey you never told us just how you took that guy down anyway?"

"Oh I didn't? I guess I just didn't think it was that interesting." I said "But you wanna hear about it?"

>Rainbow smiled and said "Yup!"

"Well this happened on the 2nd floor as I was on my way to get my lunch from my locker. Suddenly I hear loud noise that can only be coming from the Disciplinary Committee. Then from the direction of the sound, this guy comes scrambling out of another hallway and I froze."

"I didn't recognize him and he started charging at me. I saw he had a knife. So I waited until he was two steps from me and I took a step forward and straight armed him with my right palm while guarding with my left. His neck acted as a fulcrum and took his forward-moving feet off of the ground. Then I guided his head into the floor. I was not gentle."

"Seeing he was dazed, I kicked the knife away and briefly considered what to do with him. The Disciplinary Committee were the closest authority figures so I grabbed him by the ankle and dragged him face down back to them. Then I saw our guys were in basically a standoff with the other 5 raiders. So I built up some speed and threw my attacker at his buddies."

"They buckled and Adagio and her ladies secured them. And that was the end of it."

>Rainbow was smiling and saying "That was awesome. But why don't you sound more excited about it?"

"Well, it was self defense, so I'm not ashamed of anything I did to protect myself and others. But my attacker was a lot weaker than me so I don't feel beating him was an accomplishment. About the only positive thing I can really take away from this is because he found me first, he didn't have a chance to hurt anyone else."

"And the other five couldn't really move while defending themselves from the Disciplinary Committee, so they were sitting ducks. So again, not a great sense of accomplishment there."

Then I suddenly had a realization. "Oh snap. Fluttershy I'm sorry. I should have asked if you were okay with me telling that story. Are you?"

>Fluttershy responded with a bright "Oh yes, perfectly fine. Although I do like that you aren't trying to brag. But defending yourself, us, and the school are all good things."

"They are." I said. "I just would really prefer not to have a reputation for violent things. This is a new school and a new chance to be a better me. Being peaceful is much better. It would suck if that was ruined because some clown not worth a name attacked me."

"Switching to a more pleasant topic, this is really nice sitting here with you girls." I said in a very relaxed tone. "I'd basically forgotten how nice human contact could actually be before you girls started hugging me."

>Rainbow lazily said "Oh yeah. Hugging does sound good. Just a sec, I'm gonna switch."

And she got up off of Anon's lap, turned to face him and straddled his lap and put her arms around his waist and found space on his shoulder to rest her chin.

>The girls silently marveled as Anonymous seemed to accept the new positioning. Rainbow had just set a new standard of full frontal contact!

>The rest of PE passed mostly uneventfully because the girls didn't want to scare Anonymous away from eating properly.

>After PE the girls and Anonymous gathered outside the locker rooms, which were near the parking lot.

>A voice to the left said "Oh my god. He looks so much like Billy!"

>Anonymous turned and saw 3 girls dressed as cheerleaders staring at him as if they'd seen a ghost.

Since he was the only guy in the area, he smiled politely at them, gave a small wave, and said "Hello. My name is Anonymous."

>Applejack took over, saying "Anonymous, meet the junior class cheerleaders and backup Disciplinary Committee members Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo. Apple Bloom is my sister, Sweetie Belle is Rarity's sister, and Scootaloo has been friends with Rainbow Dash so long they're pretty much sisters too.

>The cheerleaders said "Hello Anonymous." in unison.

>Apple Bloom added "So this is the 'King of the freshmen' that gifted his upperclassmen with six new toys eh?"

I responded with "Setting aside the rest of that statement for the sake of the fourth amendment, what do you mean 'King of the freshmen'?"

>Apple Bloom said "Adagio said she had to give you credit for your assists today, and that you didn't want to be called a badass, so that's what they came up with."

>Sweetie Belle said "You did the work, so you get the credit."

>Scootaloo added "That's how it goes around here."

"I see. Well setting aside my shattered desire for obscurity for a moment, may I ask who is Billy?"

>Suddenly Applejack jumped into the conversation and declared "Billy was their good friend, but he isn't around anymore."

Connecting the dots with all of the guys I DIDN'T see in the cafeteria today, I said "Oh. I'm sorry I asked."

>Apple Bloom then declared "No it's alright. WE brought him up so it's natural you would ask. He DID look a LOT like you though. Maybe his skin was a shade brighter than yours. Anyway, shall we be off? Yon chariot awaits!"

>We said goodbye to the rest of the girls and Sunset, Applejack, and I were led to a very old looking extended van.

>Apple Bloom said "This is a Dodge Ram Van form the 70's that's been passed down through CHS cheerleaders for decades."

>Sweetie Belle declared "It's been kept alive though a mixture of junkyard parts and spite!"

>Scootaloo then informed us "It's called the Pussy Wagon!" with a big smile.

"That's a pretty colorful name." I said

>Apple Bloom conceded "It sure is." with a smile. "And it comes with some colorful rules and traditions too."

>Sweetie Belle said "Unfortunately it's a bit drafty at speed. There's one big blanket per bench seat."

>Scootalloo said "Anonymous, boys are expected to sit in between girls and put their arms around them to keep them warm."

"Well I can do that." I said. "Assuming it's all right with them of course."

>Applejack says "He's a charmer like that. He cares about what we want." with a gentle smile.

>Sunset agreed "He totally does."

>Applejack said as she got in first "It's perfectly fine Anonymous. We knew their rules already before we called."

As Anonymous got in and sat next to Applejack he said "Nothing sounds amiss about their rules so far."

>Apple Bloom said from the drivers seat "Aww. Such a nice and trusting boy."

>Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo said in unison from the back bench seat "Just like Billy."

>As my Queen slid in next to me she said "And before you ladies go any farther, you should know we promised him that he's safe tonight."

>In unison the cheerleaders exclaimed "What!?"

>A creaking sound came from the steering wheel and then Apple Bloom took a deep calming breath and asked "Sis. Why would you do that?" through gritted teeth.

>Applejack responded with a deliberate calm saying "Sis, all he brought for lunch was two baloney sandwiches."

>Apple Bloom blinked twice at that and said "I get it. Alright, we'll allow it."

>From the backseat Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo exclaimed in unison "Huh?!"

>Apple Bloom turned to her comrades and said "Look. We're farmgirls and we care what folks eat. That boy needs MORE. Plain and simple. Now I understand why his assists against those raiders were so tight and efficient. It wasn't JUST years of experience, but also he didn't have a lot of energy to spare! Thinking of the situation he's in, Sis and Sunset absolutely are making the right call for his health!"

>Then Apple Bloom turned to Anonymous and said "You're very lucky, all of you. He cares about you girls and they care about you Anonymous. Now Sis has probably told you and Granny certainly will, but don't hold back at dinner tonight. EAT! Tap into that bottomless pit all growing boys seem to have! If you clear your plate, you ask for MORE. Assuming someone doesn't fill it again for you while you're blinking."

Anonymous was a little taken aback by the unexpected forcefulness of the statement and simply said "I-I'll do my best?"

>Applejack suddenly realized something and asked "Hey Sis, can you help remind me to give him some Beano before dinner?"

>Apple Bloom said "Sure thing Sis."

"Pardon me, but what's Beano?" I asked.

>Applejack replied "Well Granny cooks with onions and Beano is a product that will help with your onion issue. Just a couple of chewable tablets with barely any taste is all."

"Oh." I said. "Well thank you. I didn't know there WAS anything that could help."

>Applejack cheerfully said "No worries. You're not the first guest we've had with onion issues."

>My Queen and Applejack settled in and leaned against me for the ride while resting their heads on my shoulders.

>Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle were dropped off first.

>Then the farm came into view.

>Anonymous gave an amazed "Woah!"

>Applejack gave a soft chuckle and declared "Welcome Anonymous, to Sweet Apple Acres! Ever seen the like of it before?"

Anonymous was gazing around in wide eyed wonder as they came up the driveway "I have not." He admitted "This place looks AMAZING!"

>Applejack said while smiling "That is the best reaction I believe I've ever seen. But I have to tone it down a peg Anonymous. This is a working farm and a lot of the equipment we use can be dangerous even if you know what you're doing. So please don't wander off and for the love of everything don't touch it if you don't understand it! For now it's best if you have me or a family member with you at all times around here."

"Spend time around a pretty girl or risk death or dismemberment?" I asked. "Hmm, that could be a tough choice, but your house, your rules." I said with a smile.

>Applejack replied with "Charmer."

"Just trying to figure out which is more dangerous is all." I said.

>Sunset fired back with "My King, after helping take down six boys intent on murder and mayhem today, I don't think you get to claim you're afraid of danger."

I quibbled back with "Technically I was just assessing." before I realized my mistake.

>My Queen and Applejack both got predatory smiles as they asked in unison "So which is more dangerous?"

I heroically changed the topic by exclaiming "Oh look at that weather! Isn't it a lovely day today?"

>Every girl in the van laughed at that.

>There was a boy who looked younger than me waiting at the end of the driveway who said as we pulled in "Hello Apples! I see we have a guest. Am I allowed to meet them?"

>Apple Bloom leaned out the driver side window and said "Sure can! Applejack's new friend just got put on information security today. You might be able to help him with that. So come on round and meet him."

>As we filed out of the van, the smiling blond boy rounded the front, stopped and said "Woah! He looks like Billy!"

"Yeah I've gotten that a lot in the last hour." I said "Hello. My name is Anonymous and I'm glad to meet you." And offered my hand for a handshake.

>The boy looked at Applejack briefly, who nodded, and eagerly shook my hand and said "Hi Anonymous. My name is Big Macintosh. You can call me Big Mac for short."

>Applejack informed me "Big Mac is our brother. He's been homeschooled for his protection to keep him safe. The gender disparity can make for some desperate women and we got ahead on that some time ago. They can't come after him if they don't know he exists."

>Big Mac declared "But I'll be going to CHS in a couple of years myself. Can't avoid that, it seems."

"So only talk about Big Mac while I'm here at Sweet Apple Acres. Got it." I said.

>Apple jack smiled and said "I knew that big brain of yours would figure it out."

"Oh now who's the charmer?" I joked.

>Apple Bloom then informed "Big Mac, he's staying for dinner, so let's move on inside and have him meet Granny."

>Big Mac eagerly asked "So Anonymous how do you like CHS so far?"

"Man, it is SO different from anything I expected! I barely get to talk to any other guys there."

>Sunset sweetly said "My King, is that an issue?"

I recognized the strong danger signal she was giving me and said "Now my Queen, please don't misunderstand me. But it's a fact that before I actually went to CHS my assumption was I would have more guy friends than girl ones. Because that had been my previous experience at school. I'm not complaining about how things actually ended up being, but I'm also happy to have a chance to meet a guy you won't object to. You have to admit that CHS has thrown me a LOT of curveballs."

>Sunset relented "And like Twilight said, you've had to adapt on the fly. But is talking to a guy that important?"

"My Queen, it's a healthy form of social interaction that I'm used to and suddenly can't get at CHS. Plus I feel that if you polled the guys in our class about 70% would say they'd like to have a brother figure in either age direction. It doesn't mean I don't want or enjoy talking to you girls, but if Big Mac and I can get along it will be good for both of us."

>An older female voice suddenly interjected "He's right sweetie. Let them have this."

I snapped to respectful attention and said "You must be Applejack's Granny. Hello. My name is Anonymous and I thank you for inviting me into your beautiful home."

>She gave a soft chuckle and said "Hello Anonymous. Just call me Granny. Everyone does. And don't you have some manners on you?"

"Thank you Granny." I said "I find that good manners are VERY useful and helpful in my everyday dealings these days. Is there anything I can do to help prepare for dinner or help out while I'm here?"

>Granny gave another soft chuckle and said "Now that's very kind of you to offer Anonymous but I want to talk to the girls in the kitchen. Big Mac can you show Anonymous your room?"

>Big Mac happily said "Yes Granny. C'mon Anonymous!" and dragged him along.

>In the kitchen, dinner preparations were already underway and Granny gave assignments to all of the girls.

>Granny didn't waste any time and asked "Sunset he seems like a very nice boy. What's the trouble?"

>Sunset answered "I wish I knew. He IS absolutely nice. He gets along with everyone. Refuses to say a hurtful word, is willing to do a LOT of what we say. He has a great butt already and we can train up his body. And oh my god is his brain sexy! He can keep up with me and Twilight!"

>Granny then asked "And what have the other girls said about it?"

>Sunset recounted "Twilight and Adagio both think he's been hurt badly and is afraid to let his guard down as a result also that he came prepared to go through school with no friends and was willing to accept that. Rarity thinks he isn't really thinking about us in sexual terms. Rainbow said he hasn't called us friends yet because that holds real meaning to him. And Fluttershy says he's nice to everyone so they don't try to hurt him."

>Apple Bloom spoke up "Granny, he's also an experienced fighter. Someone tried to straight up murder him today. He took them down, dragged them over to where Adagio and her girls were fighting 5 other raiders and helped take THEM down too! And he's pretty reluctant to make a big deal about it. Says he really doesn't want a violence related reputation."

>Applejack added "So Adagio gave him a nickname instead. He's now called the 'King of the freshmen' and he doesn't seem to like that a bunch either."

>Sunset continued "Then when he finally gets to the cafeteria to have lunch with us for the first time today, he starts rattling off rapid fire deductions about the attack, why we were attacked, what their targets were, and why we'll be attacked again! I want him as a full member of the team! His tactical and strategic abilities will absolutely be an asset!"

>Apple Bloom asked "Really? That's not the normal arrangement. Although it seems fair to say after today that he might be able to handle it."

>Sunset replied "You're right. It's not normal, but very little about him has been normal from the get go."

>Granny says "All right. I'm starting to get the picture. I'm going to ask 3 questions from a movie I enjoyed back in the day. First, what is his name?"

>All three girls reply "Anonymous."

>Granny asks "What is his quest?"

>Sunset responded with "He says he wants to become a better version of himself. To be less violent and more peaceful."

>Granny smiles and says "Well that explains some things. Last question! WHAT,... is his favorite color?"

>All three girls were silent until Sunset finally said "We don't know."

>Granny says "Well the good news is we have some needed insight from that. The short version of the problem is you girls have been thinking with your pussies a bit to much."

>All 3 girls said "Huh?"

>Granny continues "Normally when you ask a guy to take his pants off, he doesn't question it. But lucky you, you got a guy who's trying to reinvent himself. The only thing he's doing is asking questions! And he wants to become something better! You said he's held off on calling you friends because it has meaning to him. Does sex have meaning to him?"

>Applejack responded this time "From what I got out of him today, yeah it really does. Heck, his first kiss has meaning for him too."

>Granny then declares "Alright. What you have here is your classic 'good man' archetype then. He doesn't want to just jump in the sack with the first lady to offer, he wants a courtship first! That being the case, bringing him here to meet family and a parental figure was a strong move beyond just feeding him. Speaking of, do we know why his food situation is so poor?"

>Sunset and Applejack just shook their heads and said "No Granny."

>Granny said "All right, I'll ask him that then. What you girls should be doing is just talking to him without the goal of getting him into bed in the next 5 minutes. Get to know him and let him get to know you. Once he's more comfortable, trust that the sex will happen naturally."

 

>Soon enough dinner was ready and the boys were called to the table.

>Anonymous had never even seen pictures of that much food!

>Granny had already loaded up plates for Big Mac and Anonymous.

>The food on his plate was stacked higher than he had ever seen!

>Granny told both the boys that when they had finished their plates, there was plenty more.

>It was just like Apple Bloom had told him. He was expected to eat without holding back!

>And the food was WONDERFUL!

>Anonymous intoned his appreciation in ways much further than what good manners would require.

>He hadn't had food this good in YEARS!

>As Anonymous was almost finished clearing his second plate Granny asked "Anonymous, as a responsible adult I have to ask, what's happening with your food at home?"

Anonymous had been expecting this question and answered "Well it's sort of my own fault really. When my Mom left my Dad, Dad put me in charge of grocery shopping for us. I was twelve and I had just never learned much about food. To much time spent learning about fighting and games instead I guess. Heck, for the first three months all I bought were hot dogs. It's going to be awhile yet before I willingly touch another hot dog though."

"Over time I got a little better. I can follow instructions on a box or a recipe, but compared to what I see here I guess I just went with a minimalist approach."

>Big Mac said "You can fight? Cool!"

Anonymous stunned the room when he said "No Big Mac, it's not cool. Yeah I can fight NOW, but I didn't have some kindly Mr. Miyagi showing me how to do it. I learned by getting beaten, humiliated, and knocked into the dirt. And I know that we as Americans glamorize violence, but it's really NOT glamorous. And being able to hurt people doesn't lend itself to a good career path either. Most of what it leads to isn't on the correct side of legal. And dying of old age isn't often accomplished."

"Now you compare that to what you have HERE. You're learning a trade that HELPS people. One you can be proud of. One that's easy to see value in. Meanwhile I'm unlearning bad habits. Relearning how to interact with the world. Oh and I need to find a respectable career path before I finish High School."

>As Granny loaded up a third plate for Anonymous she said "Thank you Anonymous. I'm not sure Big Mac would have really listened to us if we told him fighting wasn't cool. You're going to be a good influence on him and I'm glad the girls brought you."

"Thank you Granny, but all I did was speak the truth of my experience. I know the girls are perplexed by my refusal to celebrate what happened today, but I'd just really rather move on as best possible."

>Unfortunately Big Mac picked up on the wrong part of that response and asked "What happened today?"

I sighed and slowly said "Well you remember how I said CHS throws a lot of curveballs?"

>Big Mac said "Eeyup."

"One of the curveballs that happened today was a guy I'd never seen before tried to murder me." I said.

>Big Mac was silent at that.

So I continued "He had a knife, but basically no fighting experience. So I pretended to be frozen and let him come to me. Then I surprised him and took him out in one hit."

>Big Mac looked reverently at me and said "Woah! I gotta remember that!"

"No Big Mac." I said casually "What YOU need to remember is if you ever find yourself in that position, YOU need to run."

>Big Mac looked confused and said "What?"

"I'll say it as many times as it takes. Run. Run to safety. Run to help. Run like you're a companion on Dr. Who. Scream while running if you have to. You can only be embarrassed if you're not dead. Do I make myself clear?"

>Big Mac simply said "Eeyup."

>Sunset then asked "My King, since we're on the topic and you won't be fond of it coming up again. I wanted to ask, how did you know that guy had no fighting experience?"

"Oh it was in his body language my Queen." I said "But that's going to need more context. When you get into a lot of fights, you become concerned how much experience a potential opponent may have. Fortunately, once you learn what to look for, most folks are open books. Next you're going to ask 'Well how much do I have my King? So I'm just going to go around the room."

"My Queen you've been in 2-3 fights. Applejack has 1 under her belt. Big Mac has zero. Apple Bloom reads at 12-15 and I can't read Granny."

>Apple Bloom asked "You say Big Mac is at zero, but you can't read Granny? Why not?"

"There are two possible reasons." I responded. "I'm struggling with the best way to say this but the first guess is that time may have altered her body language. The second reason exposes an important limitation. This ability is based on your own body language at those levels of experience. So if someone has significantly more experience, you can't read them because you don't know how to interpret what you see. Just another reason to give her the respect and reverence that she deserves for many other reasons as well."

>Applejack looked at Granny and said "Did I mention he's a charmer?" with a smile.

>Apple Bloom said "Here's a question for ya Anonymous. Why did you choose to help the Disciplinary Committee?"

"Hmm, well I may be a somewhat rebellious teenager, but in the moment I saw them in that stalemate, several things became clear to me. They were doing the job they said they were there to do. They had, in fact, been honest with me about the cafeteria being safer than hanging out in the halls. Also they had been pretty nice to me while doing their job. They never lorded their authority over me or tried to coerce me with it. They just gently suggested where I should be with the girls."

"So if they had been nice to me and were defending everyone else here who had been nice to me, then I figured I should do my part to help them keep doing that. I wasn't out looking for trouble of course. But since I found it anyway, I saw what the right thing to do was and did it like anyone should."

>Apple Bloom pursued her inquiry "So just out of a sense of duty? No thought of reputation or reward?"

"I think it's been established I wasn't looking for reputation from this." I said. "And a safe school seems like a pretty good reward to me. Keeping Adagio and her crew up and swinging keeps the school safer and their behavior had earned some beneficial consideration. Also I'll take Adagio asking why I'm out in the halls THIS time over someone running at me with a knife any time."

>Apple Bloom was apparently satisfied with that answer and I got back to eating.

>Eventually I managed somehow to clear my third plate and said "Okay, this has been very wonderful, but I'm pretty sure I'm full now. Thank you again Granny for all of the incredible food."

>Granny simply smiled and said "Oh you're full? Oh that's a shame. It's time for desert and Applejack made apple pie."

"A-apple pie?" I asked with my mouth watering anew.

>Applejack looked disappointed as she said "Yeah it's an old family recipe that's won a lot of awards. I was sure hoping you would be able to try my pie."

"Your pie sounds wonderful." I said "Maybe I could fit a small slice?"

>That got a round of chuckles from the entire table.

>I got the impression I was on the receiving end of an old joke.

>But who cared? The pie looked incredible!

>It was NOT a small slice!

>And Applejack put a scoop of ice cream on top! "I hope vanilla is okay?" she asked.

"Vanilla is my absolute favorite! So yes it's okay." I answered.

I somehow managed to eat it all while telling Applejack that "Your pie IS wonderful!"

>That got another round of chuckles.

>Wasn't worried about the laughing. I had pie and telling her how good her pie was was the right thing to do.

Then the meal was done and I asked "Granny may I please help clean up?" as was only proper.

>Then Apple Bloom and my Queen each swung a door open and neither was looking best pleased.

When I saw my Queen looking upset, I wiped the grin off of my face and said plainly "My Queen it appears I've upset you, but I'm not sure how. If you tell me I can apologize properly."

>Sunset took a deep breath and said very deliberately "My King, you didn't know so I can't give you a penalty THIS time. But I would appreciate it very much if you did NOT joke about one of us taking your virginity."
