1. >“Atten-TION !”
2. >The Sergeant couldn’t help but grin fiercely as he watched the hundred trainees click their heels together and stand up straight with their hands to their sides.
3. >The Sergeant was a grizzled man, aged yet almost as strong as he was in his prime.
4. >In fact, if he hadn’t been almost crippled as a younger man during a battle for king and country, he might have been considered stronger.
5. >Like most men in his position, he was powerfully built, with a thick chest, broad shoulders, arms that strained the sleeves of his shirt, and a wild, yet manageable, red beard that made his already fearsome appearance downright terrifying.
6. >But what really distinguished the man were his knee-high, black and green leather boots, which showed him for what he was, an officer of the King’s Guard; a Drill Sergeant, to be precise.
7. >With a limp, he slowly made his way through trainee lines, a frown etched on his face as he looked at each of the men, trying to find a flaw in their appearance to bring out and beat them over the head with.
8. >Though it was hard yelling at a hundred shirtless men for the way they looked, he was trying his damnest to figure out a good way to do it.
9. >“Eleven!” he barked, the recruit in question stepping out of his line.
10. >“Are you trying to piss this old cripple off?!”
11. >Eleven, a very big man, even among the King’s Guard, looked down at his commander in slight, yet tired, confusion.
12. “Sir?”
13. The Drill Sergeant poked at his pants with an angry snort.
14. “I see ninety-nine clean pairs of pants on every one of these chuckle-fucks that you have the pleasure of calling brothers, but you,” he said, poking the young man’s chest hard with a finger.
15. >“YOU apparently think its casual-fucking-Tuesday!”
16. >Gods, please beat this man to death with something sharp and painful, I’m begging you, Eleven thought before looking away from the officer.
17. > He knew, along with everyone else, WHY he had a stain on his fatigues: they hadn’t given him new ones in days and they hadn’t stopped training for him to clean them.
18. > But since this was their last test before becoming soldiers of the King of the North, and someone needed to be yelled at one last time, he decided not to point it out.
19. > A parting gift of sorts, so the old man could bust his balls to his heart’s content one last time.
20. “Sir, I fucked up, Sir,” Eleven said automatically, getting poked again for his troubles.
21. >“Damn right you fucked up,” the Sergeant snarled, leaning up and butting heads with him. >“In fact, if I wasn’t in such a good fucking mood, I’d tie you to that tree over there and whip you until you screamed for your whore of a mother!”
22. >While this would usually piss off anyone else, Eleven, along with everyone that was recruited to become the King’s personal guard, was an orphan.
23. > And since his mother probably WAS a whore, the insult really didn’t sting.
24. >AND, since he knew that the Sergeant didn’t whip recruits--it damaged important back muscles—he just nodded.
25. “Sir, thank you, Sir, I won’t fuck up again, Sir!”
26. >If I could get away with it, I’d break that walking stick over your bald head, you prick…
27. >The Sergeant narrowed his eyes, but said nothing to him as he turned away, though Eleven couldn’t help but roll his eyes when the man turned back and spat at his feet.
28. >“Now then!” the old soldier shouted.
29. >“Let’s get back to the matter at hand, alright Ladies?”
30. >“SIR YES SIR!” everyone roared, their eyes front and forward.
31. >With a nod, the officer began:
32. > “Each one of you has been training for this for all of your worthless lives ever since you were brought off the streets as whelps!
33. > "You were taught how to fight, how to survive in the wilderness, how to think in battle, and how to fucking die like a man!”
34. >A few awkward steps later, the officer was back standing in front of the columns of men.
35. >“Tonight is your final test. Those that pass will become the greatest soldiers that the North has to offer; the rest will be getting skull-fucked by demons in the afterlife!”
36. >Some of the recruits stiffened at that; the Sergeant couldn’t help but notice with glee.
37. >Now, you may be wondering why you cocksuckers are weaponless and just wearing pants!”
38. >Eleven cocked his head at the flapping of wings, which was followed by the sound of something landing heavily behind all of them.
39. >“Well, I have just the mare to tell you what the fuck’s gonna happen.”
40. >The Sergeant raised a hand and pointed behind the column.
41. >“Ladies, I present to you, Sister Sun!”
42. >In spite of themselves, every one of the recruits grinned at the nickname as a certain white alicorn huffed in irritation, slowly making her way toward the officer.
43. >You see, due to a long lost king’s decision to take the piss out of Celestia, there was a long, long, long standing order for everyone in the north to call the goddess ‘Sister Sun’ and to treat her as a member of the family.
44. >While it was kind of funny for the first few hundred years for her to get doted on by elderly mothers, harassed by young men, and hugged by children, it had long since gotten old for the goddess
45. >Which was why the tradition was never going to go away.
46. >Sometimes, even gods needed to be brought down a peg or two every once and a while
47. >Gods, she’s huge, Eleven thought as the mare stood next to his commander, taller than the big man by at least a foot and a half, her mane flowing majestically through the air as she looked at each and every one of them.
48. >“Hello, recruits of the North,” the alicorn said, inclining her head.
49. >“For those who do not know, I am Princess Celestia, Princess of Equestria and Lady of the Sun.”
50. >“Just get to the point, Big Sis, we don’t have all day!” someone yelled in the crowd, snickers heard as Celestia rolled her eyes.
51. >“In a minute, Young Man,” she said before Eleven caught her eye.
52. >“Commander, could I please talk to that man there?”
53. >The Drill-Sergeant nodded before tapping his walking-stick against the rocky ground.
54. > “Eleven, get your ass up here on the double!”
55. >Biting back a groan, Eleven did as he was asked, almost knocking three of his brothers over to get to them.
56. > He stood at attention in front of the alicorn with a little sigh, the Princess looking down at him with her big purple eyes.
57. >While Eleven was not a man that would go for something as exotic as a pony, who, though not as weird as some of the creatures that he had seen, reminded him a little too much of horses, he had to admit that there was something…alluring about the Sun Goddess.
58. >Maybe it was her slender figure or her white coat that seemed to sparkle in the sunlight. >Maybe it was her weird hair—that he couldn’t help but notice was touching him—or maybe it was the way she carried herself with quiet, yet powerful, confidence .
59. >None of that really mattered now though, so he stayed on the task at hand…
60. >Though that didn’t stop him from sneaking a quick look at her flanks when she looked away from him.
61. “You needed something, Sis?” he said while some of his brothers grinned at the back of his head.
62. >Celestia nodded, her face coming uncomfortably close to his. “If you’d humor me; why are you doing this?”
63. Eleven cocked his head at her.
64. “Sis?”
65. >Celestia looked at him desperately.
66. >“Why become soldiers? Especially soldiers such as this?”
67. > Her eyes almost seemed to look through him, but Eleven forced himself not to break eye contact.
68. >“I know that your people would allow you to give up. You do not have to face death.”
69. >Eleven stood easy before her, cocking an eyebrow.
70. “Sister, I was thrown into the streets by my parents before I could walk.”
71. >The goddess winced, but continued to listen
72. “I had nothing, no home, no kin, not even food in my belly.”
73. >He waved a hand around at his brothers.
74. “But now? Now I have a family, I have a purpose in life.”
75. >He thumped a fist against his chest.
76. “I will serve my lord, kill for my king, DO something with my life ... or die trying.”
77. >He smiled at her before giving the alicorn a pat on the cheek.
78. “Many have quit, gone to become farmers and blacksmiths and bakers. But the life of a soldier is what I want.”
79. >“But you’ll face war,” Celestia pointed out, those big sad eyes staring into his fierce ones. >“You’ve been whipped and beaten and hurt; you don’t even have a name!”
80. >Eleven laughed.
81. “Sis, I’ve had lots of names! One, Three, Thirteen, Seven, Six, and now Eleven. A name doesn’t make you who you are.”
82. >He looked back at his brothers, each of whom had warm grins on their faces as they watched the two go back and forth.
83. “Your family does that, along with your actions.”
84. >Celestia sighed, taking a step away from him to look at the crowd.
85. >“And you all have the same mindset as him, I take it?”
86. >She was given ninety-nine nods.
87. >Mother help me, I tried, she thought, before turning away from them.
88. >“Then I will tell you what you’re going to face tonight,” she said as she started to pace, her mane and tail moving erratically.
89. >“Tonight, you will be tested on your survival and stealth skills by means of evasion.”
90. >The recruits nodded, looking at each other with cocky smiles, Eleven’s little speech still in their thoughts.
91. >Why does that sound so easy? Eleven thought, not moving from his spot since he hadn’t been ordered to.
92. >Celestia grimaced.
93. >“Behind you are the Spire Mountains: over fifty miles of some of the most dangerous terrain on Equs. You all will have the night to navigate it and get to the safe zone that the Sergeant will explain in further detail.”
94. >While they all knew it was dangerous -- those mountains had fire-breathing giant wolves for gods’ sake -- it didn’t sound that bad.
95. >“But, there is a catch.”
96. “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!
97. >Every recruit froze and looked over their shoulders at the high-pitched, heart wrenching sound, which came from the dense forest.
98. >Now, that was ominous, Eleven thought before shivering.
99. >That wasn’t a wild animal, it was something that they all knew, and it sounded hungry.
100. >The Princess of the Sun acted like she hadn’t heard it.
101. >“I have heard that some of you have met some of my… wilder subjects, the Thestrals.”
102. >Somewhere in the column, someone spat.
103. >The Thestrals, or batponies, as some called them, were well known to every Northerner that lived next to the Spire, the batponies’ homeland.
104. >A race that kept mostly to themselves—though that didn’t keep the humans from hating their blood-sucking guts—the Thestrals were known warriors and poets, and were a race that solely worshiped the Lady of the Night, Princess Luna.
105. >They also had been waging an on-and-off shadow war with the People of the North since before Nightmare Moon’s banishment, because of an insult long forgotten but still fought over, but that was another story for a different time.
106. >“The twist on what seems an easy mission is that you have to navigate the Spire and keep out of their hooves,” Celestia said, and coughed into her hoof with a little blush.
107. >“And this happens to also be their mating season…”
108. Eleven’s eyes widened in horror.
109. > Those fucking bastards! They really MEAN this to be a fucking life-or-death situation, don’t they?!
110. >There was also a little known fact about the batponies:
111. > While ill-mannered at the best of times, the batponies were downright horrifying while in heat, the little suckers fucking and drinking the blood of anything that resembled a male without restraint.
112. >The Drill-Sergeant, with a mean little grin, finally piped up.
113. >“That’s right ladies! You’ll be outrunning bloodsuckers for the night! A little event that we like to call ‘Cursum Sanguinis’.”
114. >He ignored Celestia’s defeated look, starting to pace back and forth again.
115. >“We’re gonna give you lot a little cut on the chest so they can smell ya, then we’ll toss ya in groups into the forest to see if you can get out in one piece.”
116. >With a grunt he lifted his shirt, revealing a pair of bite-marks on his stomach.
117. > “You can’t kill’em, and you can’t let’em bite you on the neck; anywhere else is fine--like these bites here-- but not the neck. If either of those things happen just let ’em eatcha, because you’ll be an exile!”
118. >“Since those little bastards don’t like the sun, and only hunt at night, we’ll give you an hour’s head-start.”
119. > He tapped his stick against the ground. >“You’ll go in groups of five, in order, and leave ten minutes after each other, starting—“
120. “Sir!” Eleven yelled, cutting him off, the older man growling at him.
121. >“Did you need something, Eleven?”
122. Eleven’s gaze turned toward his best friend, a brother among brothers, and favorite son among the group, Eighty-Eight.
123. “I would like to switch places with trainee Eighty-Eight, Sir!”
124. The Sergeant looked at him, then at Eighty-Eight, before nodding, his gaze softening as he looked at the smaller, frailer young man.
125. > “Alright, you want a better chance to get eaten, fine by me!” He drew a long, ebony knife. “Get in line and get your cut, Ladies! Times a-wastin’!”
126. >Before Eleven took a step, Celestia was in front of him.
127. >“That was a very brave thing to do, young man. Most wouldn’t risk their safety to help another.”
128. >He shrugged.
129. “If I hadn’t done it, someone else would have.” >He tried to walk around the princess, but was stopped by a wing.
130. >“And why is that?” Celestia asked, intrigued.
131. “There’s always a scholar in the King’s Guard; one for every Century,” He explained.
132. “A brother that’s weaker than everyone else, but smarter. When a few of us found out that Eighty-Eight could read and write, all of us decided that he was going to be ours.”
133. >“And you’d risk your life because of that?”
134. >Yes, Ma’am, I would.”
135. >The Princess sighed, her shoulders slumping. .“Then I truly cannot persuade you to veer from this course of action?”
136. >Eleven crossed his arms.
137. “Sis, if you don’t like this test so much, then why are you letting those subjects of yours do this? Why are you letting us do this?”
138. >Celestia closed her eyes, her wings drooping to the ground.
139. >“The Thestrals have never held me in the high regard that they hold my sister,” she said bitterly.
140. >“And I have tried to stop themfrom doing this, tried to stop you humans from doing this, many, many times. But, because of tradition, I just have to bear it and pray that all of you make it out alive.”
141. >Eleven blinked, touched that the Princess cared, before nodding his head.
142. “Gods pray?”
143. >To his surprise, this brought a little smile out of the alicorn, who then leaned down and nuzzled his cheek.
144. > “I will this night,” she whispered in his ear before slowly making her way past him.
145. > “I will pray that you make it out alive and well, Eleven, along with the rest of your brothers.”
146. >Eleven grunted, making his way toward the line.
147. “I hope someone listens to you then, Sis,” he looked over at the forest, which looked a whole lot more dangerous now that he knew what was waiting for him.
148. >He didn’t turn back when he heard the princess take off, instead walking over to Eighty-Eight, who looked somewhere between angry and sad as he looked at him.
149. >“Idiot,” the smaller man snarled, smacking Eleven in the chest.
150. >“Idiot, idiot, idiot! Why in Tartarus did you do that?!”
151. >Eleven wrapped his brother in a hug, ignoring his protest.
152. “Remember to stay with your group, Brother,” he said.
153. “They’ll make sure that none of those bloodsuckers touch your scrawny ass.”
154. >Eighty-Eight grunted, trying to wiggle out of the bigger man’s grasp.
155. >“You didn’t need to do that,” he muttered.
156. > “I’ll be able to make my way through just fine…”
157. Eleven just grinned, breaking the bear hug and mussing his hair up with a hand.
158. “I know, but we can’t be too careful, can we? Me; I’m one of the biggest bastards of the Century, those bloodsuckers aren’t gonna be able to bring me down. You on the other hand…”
159. >Eighty-Eight squeaked when he was picked up by his underarms, Eleven laughing before putting him back down.
160. “They’d lift your ass up and wonder if they picked up a man or a rabbit!”
161. Eighty-Eight huffed.
162. >“You know, if anyone else would’ve let me teach them to read I wouldn’t be so important.”
163. >Eleven grinned back at him as the Drill-Sergeant cut his chest with his little knife, drawing blood.
164. “And try to learn those squiggles that you call letters? No thanks. Besides, I’m sure they’ll teach us all of that shit when we all pass this test. Wouldn’t want their elite soldiers asking some peasant to read their letters now, would they?”
165.
166. <><>~~~<><>
167.
168. >Fifty miles in a night was doable for a normal person, hard but doable with enough grit and willpower.
169. > To an elite soldier of the North - or to a trainee at least - fifty miles wasn’t that bad at all, but this was fifty miles through the Spire.
170. >Thousands of evergreens, maples, oaks, and pines surrounded Eleven and four of his brothers as they jogged, weaving in and out of the wooden giants.
171. >They had to run uphill too, so it made such a tiring run even harder.
172. >And they hadn’t even seen a batpony yet, so each one of the men could see why this was their final test.
173. >“Eleven,” Eighty-seven, caked in sweat and blood and panting like a racehorse, rasped.
174. >“In the name of the gods, let’s slow down for a few minutes so we can take a fucking breather!”
175. >Eleven looked over his shoulder at his exhausted fellows, all who were looking at him with hopeful expressions, before nodding. “Alright,” he muttered, slowing to a walk.
176. “We’re almost halfway there anyway; just keep your eyes on the sky.”
177. >He looked up, seeing the full moon even through the dense treeline.
178. >It HAD to be a clear night, didn’t it?
179. “Hopefully there’ll be trees the whole way to the safety zone; it’ll make it harder for them to get at us.”
180. >Eighty-Nine grinned, his little cut still bleeding gently.
181. >“I thought they said that this was going to be hard,” he said cockily, while the group cautiously followed the North Star--they had been ordered to head north-- to their freedom.
182. >Eighty-Six growled.
183. >“Please, talk a little louder, lad, I don’t think that the bloodsuckers heard ya.”
184. >Ninety shook his head, crouching low to the ground like he expected to be attacked any second.
185. >“Did you guys wonder why they never told us about this?” he muttered, his head on the swivel.
186. >“It seems like this happens with all of the King’s Guard.”
187. >Eleven snorted, his ears perking up at what he thought were wings flapping.
188. > It’s probably just my imagination, he thought.
189. “It’s probably some sort of thing that we’ll have to take with us to our graves,” he said, looking down at his chest and noticing that his cut was also bleeding.
190. “Hey guys, are you all still bleeding?”
191. >His brothers looked down, before muttering variations of yes.
192. >After a minute, Eighty-Nine chuckled darkly. >“Looks like that lovely Drill-Sergeant of ours nicked us with a magicked blade so our wounds won’t close.”
193. >Everyone cursed under their breath.
194. “He gave us little cuts so we wouldn’t lose enough blood to kill us, just enough to keep the smell on us.”
195. >Eighty-Six growled again.
196. > “I swear to all of the gods if I make it out of here I’m going to skull-fuck that prick of a Drill-Sergeant.”
197. >“Well, this is supposed to be the test to prove if we’re worthy to be a part of the King’s Guard.”
198. >"Brother, I swear to the gods—“
199. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
200. >Eleven didn’t remember ever hitting the ground that fast in all of his twenty years, the scent of pine and earth filling his nose as wings flapped overhead.
201. >Pleasedon’tseeuspleasedon’tseeuspleasedon’tseeus! He prayed, his eyes shut tightly as he heard screeching again.
202. > Sure, they had prepared for this.
203. > Each of the men had covered their bodies with mud and they all had some sort of improvised weapon on them, but that didn’t stop each of the men from praying to the gods that the bloodsuckers didn’t see them.
204. >Not because of the possibility of hurting them, but if you hurt one, the fighting could bring more, and no one wanted that.
205. >Come on, we’re not here, we’re not here, we’re not here!
206. >The humans stayed there for who knows how long, ears perked at any sound that would force them to either fight or run.
207. >Finally, Ninety said,
208. >“Alright, guys, I think they’re gone.”
209. >The men hopped to their feet, their weapons, stone-knives and sticks and rocks, at the ready while they huddled close together.
210. >"They didn’t see us,” Eight-Five said, looking all around.
211. >“Not yet,” Eight-Nine corrected.
212. >“But they know we’re out here.”
213. >They all nodded, their confidence now replaced with worry and caution.
214. “Alright, breaks over,” Eleven said, knife in hand.
215. “If we hear another cry like that, and we’re in the forest, we hit the dirt again.”
216. >“And if we get out of the treeline?” one of his brothers asked.
217. >Eleven gulped.
218. “We run and fight like hell.”
219. >Despite himself, he couldn’t help but grin nervously.
220. “They said we couldn’t kill the bloodsuckers; that don’t mean we can’t make this night unpleasant for them too.”
221.
222. <><>~~<><>
223.
224.
225. >Like every soldier, the humans knew what to look out for when they were being stalked by nocturnal beasts.
226. > Pairs of glowing eyes, breathing, wings flapping, things like that.
227. >You keep an eye and ear out for those and you’d be fine.
228. >Not that that made the men feel any better as they walked through the woods, but at least they knew what to look out for.
229. >We haven’t seen anyone else for hours, Eleven thought as he hopped over a shrub.
230. >Not that that was odd; you didn’t want to carry all of your eggs in one basket, and you didn’t want groups of soldier being caught just because they were close to each other, but Eleven didn’t even see any sign of his brothers passing this way.
231. >“You know that there’s thousands of them in the woods right now,” Ninety whispered, shaking in fear.
232. >Eighty-Six gritted his teeth.
233. >“Ninety, shut your mouth.”
234. >“You can almost smell the heat on them,” Ninety continued, like he hadn’t heard.
235. > “They can smell us, hear us, and see us in the dark. I bet that they’re watching us right now. One little slip and they'll be all over us.”
236. >Eleven was ready to turn around and smack the man.
237. “Ninety, will you shut the f—“
238. Just like that, Ninety was sprinting through the forest, his eyes wide and wild, while his brothers watched in horror.
239. >“WELL, YOU’RE NOT GOING TO GET ME, YOU FUCKS’!” the man roared, while everyone froze.
240. “THERE’S NOT THAT MUCH LEFT TO RUN! >IF I JUST GO BY MYSELF, I’LL BE ABLE TO MAKE IT OUT ALIVE!”
241. >The group watched in horror as a rope came out of the sky as Ninety broke the treeline, Eighty-Nine trying to shout out to his brother before Eleven knocked him to the ground.
242. “No,” he hissed.
243. “He’s gone, there’s nothing we can do for him.”
244. >“B-but we can—“
245. “Shhhh!”
246. >The four watched, horrified, as their brother was lassoed to the ground by a group of what looked like shadows, pairs of shining eyes cutting through the darkness as they looked down at the horrified man.
247. “Get up, damnit,” Eleven demanded, hopping to his feet quietly.
248. “We have to go before they start looking for us.”
249. >“But we can—“
250. >With a growl, Eleven roughly picked his brother up with a grunt, his eyes blazing.
251. “If we fight them, that’ll bring more, and Ninety did this to himself when he decided to lose faith.”
252. > He gestured in the direction of a scream, no one brave enough to look at the poor, trapped man.
253. “We cannot abort the mission. It may be shitty, but we can’t help him, all we can do is get to the safe zone.”
254. >I’m sorry, brother, he thought sadly, forcing himself to stop and watch as Ninety was carried away screaming.
255. > Damn us for not seeing that you were about to snap…
256.
257. <><>~~<><>
258.
259. >Running scared wasn’t the hard part, in fact it made it easier.
260. .The hard part was running quietly while scared through the thicket without hurting yourself. >With each mile, the young men ran faster, dodging flying patrols of those bat-monsters, and coming closer and closer to breaking down with each near miss.
261. >We’re almost there, Eleven thought, exhausted and bloody, but elated.
262. >We only have a few miles left to go and we’re home free!
263. >That wasn’t the only good news.
264. >If Eighty-Seven was right, and he was the best tracker of the group, there were signs that some of their brothers had made their way through this part of the forests recently, broken sticks, footprints, and even a piece of tattered cloth, so there was a good chance that they’d be seeing someone soon.
265. If there’s enough of us, maybe we’ll be able just to force our way through with just—
266. >“Brothers, over here! Quickly!”
267. >The group skidded to a halt, weapons at the ready, before a hand popped up from a bush.
268. >“It’s Twenty, gods damn it! Get over here before they see you; they're right over there!”
269. >The little group looked at each other.
270. >“It might be a trap,” Eighty-Six muttered, gripping his stick tighter.
271. >“I don’t know if—“
272. “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!”
273. >Eleven didn’t realize that he had been moving until he was hopping through the air and into the bush, his stone knife at the ready just in case, the big man blinking at the grinning, yet haunted, face of Twenty.
274. >“Eleven?”
275. >The man patted him on the back.
276. >“We all were wondering if the bloodsuckers got your big ass!”
277. >Eleven poked his head out of the bush to survey the landscape, seeing glowing eyes everywhere as he looked toward what appeared to be fires.
278. >The tree-line opens up at the last mile or two, he thought in horror.
279. >We’ll have nothing to cover us…
280. >He couldn’t help but be thankful that Twenty had stopped them.
281. >The treeline ended so suddenly that they might have ran out in the open, and, from the eyes, Eleven could tell that that would have been very, very bad.
282. >“Eleven? Eleven? Brother, are you alright?”
283. >Eleven blinked before looking down at his brother.
284. “Not really,” he admitted.
285. “They got Ninety a few hours ago.”
286. >Twenty’s expression soured.
287. >“They got more than him, Brother. Far more.”
288. >Eleven forced himself to ask,
289. “How many?”
290. >Looking around, he saw more heads poking out of bushes and shrubs, eyes scanning the skies.
291. >“I talked to the others.”
292. > Twenty pointed all around the edge of the tree-line.
293. >“We think they got about fifteen of us.”
294. “Is Eighty-Eight alight?”
295. >To his relief, he nodded.
296. >“Yeah, but…”
297. >Eleven nodded, looking out in no-man’s land. “But how are we going to get through that safely?” he finished.
298. >Twenty shrugged helplessly.
299. > “We had a few guys looking to see if there was a way around, and there is, but the sun will be up in a few hours and that path will take way too damn long for all of us to go through.”
300. >“Did anyone try to sneak through?”
301. >Twenty chuckled darkly. “Tried. The bloodsuckers have more eyes on this field than we do at the King’s palace.”
302. >Eleven gripped his knife tightly.
303. “Time’s not on our side, we can’t kill those bitches, and they set up a deathtrap that we have to go through.”
304. > He sighed.
305. “We’re fucked…”
306. >Twenty give the big man a cheeky grin and another pat on the back.
307. >“If we run then they can’t get us all now, can they?” he asked, trying to sound upbeat.
308. >Eleven wasn’t the smartest guy among his brothers.
309. > Bigger?
310. >Sure.
311. > Better looking?
312. >Without a doubt.
313. >But a strategist he was not.
314. > He was a more ‘force it through until it works’ kind of guy, but even he didn’t think that that was a good idea this time.
315. >But what else can we do?...
316. “When are we making a break for it?” he asked, looking around to see where his little group had went.
317. >“We were just about to go when you guys got here,” Twenty muttered, rubbing an arm nervously.
318. >“We can wait a little longer if you guys want to take a breather for—“
319. >Eleven groaned.
320. “Let’s just fucking get this over with.”
321. >He grinned back.
322. > Twenty raised a hand and waved it before hooting, other hoots answering him as the man quietly got out of the bush, Eleven following.
323. >All around them, men were crawling out of their hiding places, all dirty and tired, but eager, most of them ready to beat these ponies into a bloody mess if they got close.
324. >“Get ready, boys,” Twenty said, looking up at the open night sky.
325. >“Don’t trip on any gopher holes, don’t get caught, and pray to the gods, cause we’re going in ten.”
326. >Eleven closed his eyes.
327. > Luna, Goddess of the Moonlight, please shield us in your shadows—
328. >“Ten…Nine…”
329. >Help my brothers and I. Keep them safe, Lady of the Stars—
330. >“Eight…Seven… Six…”
331. >Even if I have to fall this day, my life is yours; I give it willingly. Just please, keep them safe.
332. >Eleven looked over at Eighty-Six and winked before taking a deep breath to steady himself. “As I walk through the valley—“
333. >“Five… Four... Three…”
334. >“—I shall fear no bullshit, because I’m a big fucker, and I hit pretty hard—“
335. >“Two…”
336. >“We’re fucked,” someone said.
337. >Eleven chuckled and braced himself. “Probably.”
338. >One….RUN YOU FUCKERS!” Twenty roared, launching himself forward.
339. >“RUN!!!”
340. >With a roar, the trainees sprinted forward, pumping their arms as hard as they could, gritting their teeth as they looked at the fires of the safe zone, so close yet so far.
341. >The winds picked up and the moon seemed to shine brighter than the sun as the men raced forward, everything slowing down for Eleven as he looked around.
342. >He heard the creaking and groaning of the trees, the wind cutting through the tall grasses as he forced himself through it.
343. > He smelt a heavy sickness, probably coming from the batponies as they stirred, the ironlike sweetness of fresh blood, and the odd sweetness in the air itself like being caressed by cold hands.
344. >All and all, if he wasn’t running for his life, Eleven would’ve commented that it was a lovely night to go out for a walk.
345. “EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!”
346. >“Don’t look up!” someone yelled in front of him.
347. >“Just keep running!”
348. >Someone else laughed hysterically.
349. >“Come on, you bloodsucking cunts! Come and get us!”
350. >While being big sometimes had its benefits, and fear was making him run very fast, Eleven was soon outpaced by his faster, smaller brothers.
351. >This gave him the unique position of seeing the ‘rout’ unfold.
352. > All around him, his brothers were being yanked into the air, some by the shadows, while others were tackled to the ground, screaming in terror, before the Thestrals tried to tie them up.
353. >Some of the captives were able to fight out of their bonds or overpower their flying captors, using sticks and rocks and fists to force the demons back to the sky.
354. >Others, though, were bound and gagged and dragged away to gods know where, Eleven gritting his teeth as he forced himself to pick up the pace, throwing his knife away so he wouldn’t accidentally stab himself.
355. >Gotta keep up, he thought, his lungs burning.
356. > Gotta keep moving; fighting is death right now.
357. >"Look what we have here girls!” A voice said above him.
358. >“Looks like this big stallion dropped his knife! Come on, let’s go and give him a helping-hoof~”
359. > With a shriek, she launched herself toward him.
360. >Eleven growled, dodging and weaving as the batponies started to dive-bomb him.
361. >“Hold…still…” A mare growled as she wrapped her hooves around his stomach, trying to knock him over.
362. > “We… just… wanna… rut…. ya…”
363. >She yelped when the man violently threw her through the air, Eleven looking over his shoulder to see at least five other batponies trailing behind him.
364. “Fuck fuck fuck FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!” he cried, finding a burst of speed to put little more distance between him and the crazy vampires.
365. >The fire’s right there, he thought, dodging as another mare tried for him, the pony nicking him in the side with her hooves as she hit the ground rolling, Eleven hopping over her.
366. >All I need is—
367. >“Get away from me you fucking monsters!”
368. >Eleven risked a look over to see something that almost made his heart stop.
369. >There, twenty feet from him, was Eighty-Eight on the ground with at least three batponies surrounding him, the man trying to defend himself with a stick.
370. >An inhuman snarl of rage escaping his throat, Eleven veered toward him, grinning when he saw that almost half of his remaining brothers were also coming to help.
371. >No one was going to let Eighty-Eight go down.
372. > He was the soul of their Century, a person that was able to stay cheery despite all of the horrible things that had happened to him.
373. > He may have been the weakest one of them, but he was going to be in the King’s Guard dammit, even if the rest of them needed to fail to get him through.
374. >Eleven was on the first batpony before she knew what hit her.
375. >The big man picked her up by her neck and slammed her into the pony next to her, a loud, wet thump echoing as the two stayed down, before he looked at the final assailant.
376. >The pony looked at her fallen sisters in horror. >“You weren’t supposed to kill us, you crazy monkey!” she cried, taking to the air with a screech, leaving Eighty-Eight alone and whole.
377. >They’ll be fine, Eleven thought, taking a second to see if his fallen foes were in fact still breathing.
378. >But they won’t be fucking anyone anytime soon.
379. “Eighty-Eight,” he cried, picking his brother up while his other brothers finally made their way toward him.
380. “Are you alright? Did they bite you?”
381. >The smaller man shook his head before trying to take a step and crying out in pain.
382. >“Ankle…broken…” he rasped, everyone groaning while Eleven took the stick out of his hands.
383. “There’s only about a mile left,” he said, looking away from his brothers.
384. “Someone carry him, I’ll keep them busy for a little bit.”
385. >Eighty-Eight tried to reach out to him, before closing his eyes and biting his lip because of the pain.
386. >“Wait," he wheezed.
387. > "Don’t…”
388. Eleven looked back at his brother with a grin. “>Don’t worry.”
389. >He nudged his head at the fire.
390. “The safe zone is right over there. All I’ll do is beat a few of ‘em over the head and hustle over. It’ll be a piece of cake.”
391. >Everyone knew it was a lie, but Eleven just kept walking.
392. “COME ON THEN,” he spat, looking up at the hundreds of glowing eyes that seemed to be staring at just him.
393. “YOU WANT SOME BLOOD? COME AND GET IT!”
394. >“We got a live one here, girls!”
395. >“You keep talking pretty colt, we’re gonna be making you scream in a minute or two.”
396. >“I call first bite!”
397. >"I call first rut then!"
398. >Fuck me, fuck this test, and fuck you, Luna, for not hearing my prayers, Eleven thought while he watched dozens of lassos being made in the air above him.
399. >Well, if I’m gonna go down, I can at least fuck a few of them up.
400. >The man took a breath and rolled his shoulders, blocking out all unnecessary sounds, instead focusing on the enemies above him.
401. >You don’t stay still while you’re fighting a group, you Cock-less Pansies, Eleven heard in his head while he readied his stick; an old lesson from the Drill-Sergeant.
402. >You keep moving, push’em into each other, make the fight a shit-shoot while you take them out one-by-one…
403. >He slowly, patiently, started walking forward while he moved his ‘weapon’ parallel to his body, sighing when he heard a round of screeches.
404. “Here we go.”
405. >The batponies were blurs as he sidestepped them, using muscle-memory painfully learned in training, to drive the stick forward, a mare screeching in pain as he continued, not looking back.
406. >Slashing, that’s the way to go in a battle. >The stab might be the killer, but you have to pull your blade out of the sucker you stabbed, and while you’re doing that, the guy’s buddy is liable to stab ya in the back.
407. >Eleven dodged and weaved, savagely slashing at everything that moved, moving faster and faster with each determined step.
408. >It didn’t matter that he was about to die, or that he was tired, or that he was bleeding.
409. >He was doing what he had been put on this earth to do: to fight and kill and to be fought and killed.
410. > His was blood singing as he let out a quiet laugh, more alive than he had ever felt.
411. >But a slash? A slash only takes a moment, and an enemy will be bleeding to death before he knows it.
412. >So remember, Lads, if you’re alone, just slash and dodge and parry and pray to the gods. With a little bit of luck, you’ll make it out of that fight in one piece.
413. >Step
414. >Step
415. >Slash
416. >Dodge
417. >Dodge
418. >Side-step
419. >Hop
420. >Slash
421. >Cut
422. >Hit
423. >Smack
424. >Break
425. >Laugh, Rinse, and repeat.
426. >It came to him so easily that he could’ve done it in his sleep.
427. >“We got a fighter here, girls,” he heard above his head.
428. >“Hurry up and get those bucking lassos ready! I wanna get a rut in without getting a stick broken over my bucking head!"
429. >Eleven chuckled, whacking another mare to the ground before looking over his shoulder.
430. > It looks like I did a lot better than I thought, and the boys are gone, so maybe—
431. Twirl!
432. >He snarled when a rope wrapped around one of his arms and almost yanked him off his feet. >No, NO!
433. >Cries of triumph echoed above him.
434. >“Good going, now get another one on that other arm!”
435. “No you fucking don’t!” Eleven muttered, digging in his heels while yanking down on the rope as hard as he could.
436. “Get down here and let me beat you like the animals you are!”
437. >Since ponies, at least the ones with wings, weren’t that heavy, the unlucky mare that was holding the other end of the rope plummeted to the ground, her sisters flying down to grab the rope so he couldn’t get away with it.
438. “Well? You want a snack?” Eleven strode toward the ground of hissing bats, cracking his knuckles.
439. “Well, co—“
440. Twirl!
441. >Eleven, too battle-drunk to think of defending himself, yelped when he felt another rope skillfully wrap around his other arm, before screeching in pain when both of the ropes snapped taut, lifting him into the air for a second before dropping him to his knees with a painful thud.
442. >Stupid, stupid! he thought, shaking his head to get the stars out of his eyes.
443. > I fucked up…
444. >Another happy cry cut through the air above him as dozens of batponies landed around him in a big circle, many of them still leery of the big man, all of them looking at him with hungry expressions as they slowly inched closer.
445. >“There we go, big boy,” a mare cooed, slowly making her way toward him.
446. >“That wasn’t so hard was it? You know, you should be ashamed of yourself, beating up a bunch of helpless mares that just… want a little taste~”
447. >This was the first real look that he had of a real batpony, and, honestly, they weren’t all that scary.
448. >They looked like any other pony, small, furry, and adorable; basically the definition of not scary.
449. >The only real things that distinguished them from their vegetarian cousins were a pair of big, furry ears, their glowing eyes, batwings, a darker coat, and the fangs.
450. >He couldn’t forget those.
451. >Long and thin and sharp-looking, they jutted slightly out of the mares mouth as she smiled down at him.
452. >Eleven found that he couldn’t bring himself to look away as she licked those suckers-- a small part of him wondering how many human necks those fangs had sank into-- her bright eyes shining as she sat in front of him.
453. >“It won’t be that bad,” she purred, looking into his eyes.
454. >“Just look into my eyes for a few seconds, Sweetie~ It’ll be over soon.”
455. >Eleven shook his head, his limbs slowly starting to feel heavier for some reason.
456. >…What’s… Going… On?...
457. >The mare grinned, leaning in.
458. >“That’s it~ Just let me have a little nip, then we can have a grand ol’ time.”
459. >Eleven finally snapped out of his when he felt the batpony’s breath on his neck.
460. >Snarling, he leaned back with a grunt.
461. THUD!
462. >While he had always been told to never use a head-butt in a fight -- and he was sure he didn't do it right because his ears were ringing and it felt like he had split his skull wide open--the mare when down with a pained shriek, holding her broken nose as every one of the batponies flinched.
463. “You’ll have to do better than that,” he snapped while they hissed, their bat wings flaring in anger.
464. “You want me? You better come to kill.”
465. >This is it, he thought in mild amusement, oddly calm when faced with his death.
466. >I’m going to die tied up like a fucking idiot while being eaten by bat horses…
467. >For some reason, that got a little laugh out of him as he closed his eyes and waited for the end, for the flapping of wings and the white-hot pain of them biting him.
468. “LEAVE HIM.”
469. >Eleven winced as a voice practically shook the earth, the man keeping his eyes closed as something hit the ground right in front of him.
470. >“I have heard your prayers, Eleven.”
471. >Eleven cracked open an eye to see a big pony standing in front of him in all of her glory. >The mare was almost as big as Celestia had been, but where the Sun Princess was as white as the snow, this mare was midnight blue, almost black.
472. > Where Celestia’s mane was an assortment of colors, this mare’s mane was an even bluer color than her coat, thousands of shining miniature stars twinkling in it as it waved through the air quietly, majestically.
473. >When she spread her massive wings and when Eleven spied her long, thin horn, he couldn’t help but start to shake in fear.
474. >He wasn’t just fucked, he was fucked and screwed.
475. >Man, fuck me, he thought before collecting himself and bowing his head in respect.
476. “Lady Luna, your presence does me honor.”
477. >I’m really, really, REALLY fucked.
478. >Luna, Diarch of Equestria, Goddess of the Night and Defender of Dreams, looked down at him with a hint of a smile on her lips.
479. >“There is no need for such formality, Eleven,” she said, her voice ringing out like a bell.
480. >“Not here at least.”
481. >Eleven flinched when she forced his face up with a hoof to look into her giant blue eyes. >“But, because you are already on your knees, I feel that I must commend you on your manners. Not many go to such lengths as to kneel before for their betters before they even arrive.”
482. >Fantastic, I got the FUNNY all-powerful Goddess, the man thought while the alicorn let out an amused huff, her tail swishing to the side and her feathers ruffling at her little joke.
483. >That really didn’t stop him from laughing though.
484. “Best joke I’ve heard all night, Princess,” he complimented.
485. >Luna inclined her head.
486. >“Thank you, but that is not why I am here.”
487. >Eleven grew somber.
488. “And why are you here, Goddess?”
489. >She nudged her head toward the safety zone’s fires.
490. >“Most of your brothers have made it over to those fires,” she said, stepping so close to him that he could smell the mint on her breath.
491. >“As I said before, I have heard your prayers.” >She smiled at him in a way that he didn’t like. >“And I have come to collect.”
492. >“Collect what?” Eleven asked, seeing that batponies were stepping away from them in disappointment.
493. >The Goddess grinned, showing the man that she, like her subjects, had fangs.
494. > Big ones.
495. > “I believe that you said that you would give your life if I made sure that your fellows made it over safely.”
496. >She sneaked down and licked the blood off of his chest, a happy little smile on her face as she hummed in delight.
497. >Though he tried to stop himself, Eleven shivered
498. >“While not every one of them made it, I believe that enough did to warrant my claim on your life.”
499. >Eleven nodded, looking back down.
500. >I’m a dead man anyway, he thought as the alicorn licked her lips.
501. >If I’m gonna be eaten, I may as well be a eaten by a goddess… And fuck. Fuck, fuck, fuck, FUCK, FUCK!
502. “My life is yours,” he said simply, biting back a little pang of fear and looking back up at her.
503. “I only ask that you kill me quickly.”
504. >To his surprise, that got a little giggle out of the Princess, which turned into a chuckle, which then turned into full-blown laughter.
505. >“Ah, excuse me,” she apologized, wiping tear from her eye before she started to circle him.
506. >“But I believe that you misunderstood me.” >Eleven shivered when he felt her hot breath on his ear.
507. >“Tell me, Eleven, do you by chance know why you are forced to participate in this test to prove your valor?”
508. “Because… it’s really, really fucking hard?” the bewildered man said, getting another little chuckle out of the alicorn.
509. >“Nono, I mean, do you know why you do not do something else?”
510. >When he shook his head, Luna decided to let him in on a fifteen-hundred year old secret.
511. “You see, my dear Human, long, long ago, when your kingdom was but a backwater little village, your king and I made a little pact.”
512. > Luna walked back in front of him, her starry tail swaying, and made her way over toward a batpony, caressing the mare’s cheek.
513. >“You see, the Thestrals have always been a predominantly female race, so many do not know the touch of a stallion for years, maybe their whole lives if they are very unlucky.
514. >This is especially difficult during their estrus, so I decided, for the sake of keeping my subjects happy and safe and to keep them from going to war with your people, to tempt your warriors.”
515. >The Princess unfurled her wings, showing, once again, her massive, and beautiful, wingspan.
516. >“Your people versus ours; we have nothing to lose, and you have everything to gain.
517. > Glory, fulfillment, a warrior’s status ... and both of our people grow stronger because of it.”
518. >Eleven grunted, testing the ropes, and smiled at the weakness in the batponies’ grasp.
519. “And that’s the real reason?” he asked, trying to sound interested in what she was saying.
520. >Luna shook her head before looking up at her moon.
521. >“That isn’t the only reason, as I’m sure you have guessed.”
522. >The batponies were so enraptured with their princesses’ little speech that they didn’t notice that Eleven had fought his way back to his feet.
523. >“I just said that we both grow strong, but I have not told you about how Thestrals become stronger from the exchange. You see, it’s the blood—“
524. >With a roar, Eleven pulled, straining to keep his shoulders from popping out of place as he gritted his teeth to keep himself from screaming in pain.
525. > For a second, he thought his little stunt wasn't going to work, but the bat ponies had been a little too lax in their vigilance.
526. >With a series of surprised cries, the ropes were yanked out of the mares’ grip and those that had managed to hold on were thrown through the air.
527. > Before anypony could do anything, the man was dashing toward the fires, hopping over a fallen batpony with a hopeful grin on his face.
528. >I’m almost there, he thought, ignoring his achy muscles and rope burns.
529. >All I need to—
530. >He grunted in surprise when an unseen force forced him back to his knees, the distinct sound of magic being used behind him while he struggled to get back up and get away.
531. >“I never liked it when somepony ignores others when they are talking,” a slightly irritated Luna said, levitating the man back toward her.
532. > “Your stubbornness is amusing, but please let me finish before you try to make any more escape attempts.”
533. >The Lunar Princess cleared her throat.
534. > “Now, as I was saying: human blood … ” >Eleven, looking back up at Luna, noticed that she was looking down at him hungrily.
535. >“Human blood, along with simply being far better than what they usually get, has the added benefit of strengthening my subjects in almost every aspect possible; strength, speed, and it is even said that it helps with infertility.”
536. >So I’m about to be eaten because my blood is some kind of supertonic? Man…FUCK the old king that set this shit up…
537. “So I AM going to be eaten?” Eleven sourly asked, trying to wiggle out of his magical bonds.
538. >Luna looked down at him mischievously.
539. >“Usually yes; after my subjects here have finished satisfying their urges, they’d take you back to their cavern homes and slowly drain you of your blood until you die.”
540. >When the Goddess’ tail tickled his chin, Eleven began to wonder if that wasn’t the lesser evil; being eaten might be better than whatever Luna had in mind for him.
541. >“But, I have been trying to acquire,” Luna hummed in thought, trying to find the right words to say. “somepony to satisfy my… urges.”
542. >The human’s eyes widened as the Princess grinned. “I’ve tried my subjects—Thestrals, Earth Ponies, Pegasi, and even Unicorns— but they haven’t been able to please me. So I’ve decided to try one of the warriors of the North.”
543. >Eleven gulped while Luna leaned in to nuzzle the nape of his neck, licking his jugular.
544. >“And, even if that does not work out, it has been a long time since I have tasted a human~”
545. >Eleven’s face scrunched up.
546. “So, it’s either I please you or you drain me dry?”
547. >“That is correct.”
548. >Eleven closed his eyes and dug deep before humming.
549. “Alright then, hurry up and eat me.”
550. >Luna raised an eyebrow. “Pardon?”
551. >The man offered her his neck.
552. “Go ahead and eat me. It’s better than becoming a fuck-toy.”
553. >For a brief, delicious second, the Princess looked lost, looking back at her subjects before shaking her head in disbelief.
554. >“You humans are odd ones.”
555. >Eleven’s eyes snapped opened when he was lifted into the air while Luna smiled.
556. > “My subjects,” she began, Eleven wincing in pain as his cuts and bruises were knitted back together with a simple spell.
557. >“You may return to your homes if your herds have caught a human.”
558. > With a screech, a number of the mares took off into the night air.
559. >“Those that do not; you may watch,” She waved a wing toward Eleven.
560. >“If a few of you would please help prepare this young man for me, I would be grateful.”
561. >With another spell, Eleven’s pants and bindings were gone, leaving him exposed as three mares trotted forward excitedly.
562. >“May we have a taste of him, Mistress?” one asked.
563. >Luna shook her head while a mare poked her head under her tail.
564. >“No, he is mine,” she hummed happily as the batpony gave her marehood a sloppy lick.
565. >“But I will make sure that you’ll have your pick of a stallion if your work pleases me.”
566. >The two mares that weren’t pleasing the Princess grinned at the human, who bared his teeth at them.
567. >“Fuck off,” he growled, trying not to look into their eyes as they giggled.
568. >“Aw, I always love the tough guys,” one of them said, walking over and nuzzling his thigh. >“They’re always the loudest screamers~”
569. >The other mare joined her sister, the two trying to coax the man into arousal while he, with sheer bloody-mindedness, tried to make their efforts all for naught.
570. “I’ll tell ya who was screaming,” Eleven said, tensing when they started to rub their cheeks against his shaft.
571. “One of your sisters after I broke her j-jaw.”
572. >The mares just smiled, one lovingly nuzzling him while the other forced him to look into her eyes with a wing.
573. >"You should be honored, boy,” she teetered, smiling as his vision slowly clouded.
574. >“Most stallions would bite their tails off to be with Our Lady for a night.”
575. >The man’s cock twitched and Eleven forced his little soldier to stand down, shaking his head and growling with a harsh look.
576. “F-Fuck off.”
577. >They gave his shaft a barrage of kisses, smiling as his back arched while he let out a little squeaky groan.
578. > He closed his eyes as his cock twitched again.
579. Don’tgethardyoupussy!
580. >One of the mares sighed.
581. >“My gaze isn’t working right, Echo. He’s one of those humans.”
582. >The other mare giggled, popping his head into her mouth with a little slurp.
583. >“Just keep nuzzling his balls, Shadow,” she said from the corner of her mouth while Eleven bit his lip so hard that it almost drew blood.
584. >“He’ll be ready for the Princess in a seco--”
585. >Eleven thrust his hips forward, knocking Echo over while she squeaked in surprise.
586. >Panting, he glowered down at the two.
587. “When… I get out…of this… I’m gonna… tear your… wings off… and…feed them…to ya…”
588. >Echo hissed in irritation while Shadow giggled evilly, nicking his cock with one of her fangs, not hard enough to break the skin but enough to get her point across.
589. >“You best watch what you do when you’re around us, boy,” she said, pleased when his whole body tensed in fear.
590. >“Our fangs are sharp. One little accident and… Snip. Ya get it?”
591. > Wisely, Eleven gave her a jerky nod.
592. >Seeing that he wasn’t going to try any more nonsense, the mare took him into her mouth, humming as he shook.
593. >Keepitdownkeepitdownkeepitdown!
594. >The mare’s mouth was warm and wet, and she knew what she was doing.
595. >Slowly, her tongue wrapped around his shaft, teasing his head as she carefully sucked, savoring his taste as she traced every bump, every line, every hair on his penis, waiting for him to harden into her mouth while she slurped and licked.
596. >Eleven squirmed, trying to think of anything to keep himself calm.
597. >Grandmas in their underclothes, dirty diapers, m-maggots!
598. > Echo spun around and lifted her tail, pressing her dripping flower against his leg with a little groan.
599. > “Oh Goddess,” she cried, grinding up and down while she bit her lip.
600. >“I’m so hot right now~!”
601. >Eleven gritted his teeth as the mare moaned lustfully, using her tail to steady his leg so she could continue to use it, the two sisters almost bringing him to half-mast with their actions while they shared a kiss.
602. >D-Decaying bodies, old P-Priestesses, s-soggy bread…
603. >Seeing that he still somehow hadn’t fully hardened, Shadow let him go with a wet plop; the batponies stepped away from him in confusion while Eleven looked at the ground with a little exhausted grin.
604. >Sure, he was covered in batpony juices and spit and he was naked as the day he was born, but he was being the biggest bastard he could be by just keeping his cock as soft as a possible.
605. >It wasn't much, but at least he had that.
606. > The mares looked at each other before whistling quietly.
607. >“Wow, they’re usually raring to go after just a nuzzle.”
608. >“Yeah.”
609. > The other one looked up at him.
610. >“You really have some self-control.”
611. >Luna, who was quickly growing bored of the spectacle in front of her, pushed the mare in-between her legs away while taking a step forward.
612. >“I will show you two how it is done,” she boasted, forcing Eleven up against her chest while wrapping her wings tightly around his body.
613. >The man tried to struggle out of his feathery prison.
614. "Fucking, fucking, cunting balls! Let me go and kill me, damnit!"
615. >The Princess looked down at him.
616. >“You will not be saying that in a moment, Eleven,” she whispered, starting to nuzzle his neck again, her fangs delicacy nicking his tender skin.
617. >Gotta get out, gotta, get away!
618. >Luna smiled, forcing his neck to the side.
619. >“You will not be getting away on this night. You are mine, Human.”
620. >No, NO!
621. >Eleven whimpered as the Princess slowly, lovingly, bit down, his body tensing as a white-hot flash of pain caused his vision to swim.
622. >That was soon replaced with a numbing, heated sensation that quickly traveled all through his body as he went limp in the Princesses’ grasp.
623. >Luna moaned quietly, taking in a few mouthfuls of his sweet lifeblood before letting go of him, content to lap up the blood that seeped from his bite while using another spell. >There we go, my Human, she thought with a smile.
624. >I just have to wait for the spell to set in and…
625. >Her hooves wrapped around the man, pushing him against her chest more firmly as he wheezed and shook.
626. >Eleven groaned weakly.
627. >What’s…
628. >He gasped when he started to hear dozens of loud thumping noises.
629. >Why am I?...
630. >Luna giggled, and Eleven had to bury his face into her chest to keep the sound from hurting his ears.
631. >It sounded so loud to him now for some reason.
632. >“I have heightened your senses, Eleven,” Luna whispered between licks.
633. >“I am curious as to how this specific spell will work on a human.”
634. ? With a spell, Luna closed up her little bite-mark while Eleven started to gently run his fingers through her feathers, the alicorn giggling when she felt his hardness.
635. >“My, my, I see that it may have worked a little too well~”
636. >Eleven closed his eyes, hearing grunts and moans and gasps of pleasure.
637. >He knew the sound of his brothers when he heard them, and he could guess at what those wet slapping sounds were.
638. > It’s coming from the caves… he thought.
639. >I can hear it all the way from here...
640. >A small part of him tried to fight whatever she had done to him, tried to tell himself that he needed to man up and start throwing elbows.
641. >Those thoughts were quickly silenced when the princess leaned down and captured his lips with her own, Luna humming while Eleven reveled in how soft her lips felt.
642. >I-I c-can’t—
643. >"See? Is this not better than your silly fighting?” she purred, nuzzling his cheek with a slightly bloody muzzle.
644. >“Come, let us go to a more… secluded area.”
645. >With a pop, which was louder than thunder to him, the two were gone, appearing next to a little lake a second later.
646. >“There we are,” Luna levitated Eleven near the water before leaning down to take a drink.
647. > “I suggest that you drink, Eleven, I am not quite done playing with you.”
648. >Eleven gulped while she wiggled her rump, trying to entice him.
649. >Y-Yes, he thought, rolling over to his side to take in a mouthful of water. Need w-water, n-need to get s-strength back…
650. >His head was swimming from how much blood he had already lost.
651. > Whatever Luna had done to him when she fixed him up apparently hadn’t done enough.
652. > In fact, if he was in the right mind, he would have been worried about his health.
653. >With a relieved sigh, he rolled into his back and looked up at the night sky.
654. >He couldn’t help but smile at the twinkling stars, which seemed so much closer now. “They’re beautiful…”
655. >He looked down when he felt a wing touch his stomach, a smiling Luna positioning herself over his still throbbing member.
656. >“Thank you.”
657. >Eleven groaned when she started rubbing her wet lips against his shaft.
658. >“I made them myself.”
659. >The alicorn bit her lip as she teased herself with her new toy, her mane swirling around him as he slowly tried to pull her down on top of him.
660. >“Oh, is somepony excited?”
661. >Eleven whimpered as she pulled away, Luna’s eyes glowing red as she looked down at him.
662. >“Not yet my pet; first you need to pledge your allegiance to the night.”
663. >He tried to thrust into her heat, but she kept him still with a hoof.
664. >“You are mine now. Your only purpose in life is to please me and do as I wish.”
665. >She pressed her nose against his.
666. >“Do you understand?”
667. >She sat on his belly, somehow light despite her size, teasing him with her rump.
668. >Eleven closed his eyes and bucked against her coat, his cock spurting a bead of pre-cum on her cutiemark as he groaned.
669. >C-Can’t…
670. >“Well, I am waiting,” Luna said, pressing her hooves against his chest.
671. >“The sun will be rising soon, and I wish to return home before then, Human.”
672. >She bared her fangs.
673. >“Give me your answer!”
674. >Eleven slowly opened his eyes, now completely broken.
675. >“Y-Yes.”
676. >Luna cocked her head.
677. >“What was that?”
678. >He looked away from her.
679. >“I pledge… myself to the moon…”
680. >Luna smiled, nuzzling his neck before raising herself over his cock again.
681. >“Very well then. I hope that you are ready to please your Goddess.”
682. >With a throaty moan, the Lunar Princess sat down, Eleven’s hands flying to her hips as he bit back a scream, the pleasure already almost enough to make him pass out.
683. > Aha, aha~
684. >Luna closed her eyes when she heard a meaty, wet smack.
685. >“Your—unf—manhood is odd, my Pet, but it is pleasing.”
686. > She slowly started to rise up.
687. >“Do not—Aha--do not finish before your Princess or I will drain you dry.”
688. > That’s… not…gonna… be the easiest… >Eleven thought, wondering how the alicorn, who was thousands of years old, could hug his cock so tightly.
689. >Taking a deep breath, he took in the creature that was his new master.
690. >He took in her smell, that of dark chocolate mixed in with wildflowers, her cool touch -- the exception being her almost scaldingly hot cunny-- her blue eyes that sparkled in lust as she increased her pace, her wings that took up his whole world.
691. >Truly, she was a goddess that deserved his worship.
692. >Pleasure racked his body with each millimeter she moved, his cock throbbing hard and his balls tightening as she easily brought him closer and closer to orgasm.
693. >Gonnacumgonnacumgonnacum!
694. >With a disappointed sigh, Luna rose fully off his shaft, Eleven’s cock smacking against his stomach with an angry twitch, before she moved up his body and sat herself down on his face.
695. >“I see that my spell has worked too well,” she lamented, shivering when he gave her marehood a tentative lick.
696. >“I command that you lick me until you have calmed down enough for proper coitus.”
697. >Yes… my… goddess…
698. >Even though he had never participated in cunninglingus before, he make up for lack of technique by eagerness.
699. >He delicately licked the slightly salty fluids off his mistress’ lips, the scent of her arousal making him slightly dizzy as she pushed down a little harder.
700. >Biting her lip, Luna said, “Hum~ Good, just like that, my Human.”
701. > Her ears perked up as she heard the beating of his heart before she licked her lips.
702. >Let us hope that I did not drain him too much, she mused, her tail wrapping around his head, driving him even deeper into her.
703. > I may be disappointed if he expires…
704. >She looked over her shoulder to see the man’s throbbing member before twitching at what her pet was doing.
705. >His licking, his gentle bites, his kisses...
706. >Yes~ I may keep him after all.
707. >“You know, P-Pet,” the alicorn muttered, rubbing his head with a hoof, “I s-suppose that I will have to rename you.”
708. > She bit her lip when she heard a particularly loud slurp come from between her legs.
709. >“W-What should it—unf—be?”
710. >She started to slowly grind herself against his face, her muscles flexing and tensing and twitching as she slowly climbed to her peak.
711. > “M-Maybe after one of my—Aha~--stars.” She smiled at the thought.
712. >“Yes, that w-would be d-delightful and ...”
713. > Her eyes widened, and her whole body tensed as her orgasm snuck up on her, the Princess throwing back her head and howling as she came over Eleven’s face.
714. >Panting, she slid away from him, sitting on his belly.
715. >“W-Well… d-done,” she muttered, leaning down and kissing his cheek, tasting his sweat and her juices.
716. >“Now, Pet, I believe that you have earned your release.”
717. >Sluggishly, she picked herself up and guided Eleven’s member into her, the two gasping when she hilted.
718. >You need to fight this! A small part of Eleven screamed, trying to bring him back to himself.
719. > She’ll use you as a snack and a fuck-toy until you’re a fucking husk!
720. >He grabbed his Goddess’ hips while she bounced up and down on him, caressing her neck as she leaned down and licked his cheek again, those big blue eyes of hers staring into his as the two rasped and moaned.
721. >Fight dammit! Don’t you want to be a soldier?!
722. >Her wings felt so soft to him, her smile seemed so bright.
723. >What about Eighty-Eight? What about the others? Don’t you want to win glory?! Don’t you want to be a soldier?
724. >They shared another kiss, Luna giggling as he wheezed, biting his lip as his stomach fluttered.
725. >Push her off, hit her! Stop thinking with your fucking…
726. >Eleven gritted his teeth, his back arching, snarling savagely as his cock twitched hard.
727. >“You may finish, my Pet,” Luna whispered in his ear.
728. >“You did well to last this long, but the sun is about to rise.”
729. >He nodded, thrusting up as she slammed down.
730. “P-Princess, I’m—“
731. >She nuzzled his neck, drawing blood with a fang.
732. >“Inside, Boy~”
733. >With a final thrust, Eleven came, Luna biting her lip as load after load of his cum filled her as his head hit the ground with a little thud.
734. >Yes, the alicorn thought, licking the little bead of blood that was pooling on his shoulder.
735. >It appears that I have picked well with this one.
736. >She looked up, using a wing to shield her eyes as her sister’s sun rose proudly into the sky while her moon lowered.
737. >“Orion,” she muttered, looking down at him.
738. >“That is a good name for my little pet.”
739. >With a spell, she put him on her back, using her wings to keep him in place, as her subjects screeched one final time - victory cries for a good night’s catch.
740. >“Come, Orion, let us be off, back to Canterlot. My sister will be expecting me in court in a few hours and we need to get you situated in your new home.”
741. >Eleven-- or the newly-named Orion-- covered in blood and sweat, smiled tiredly at his Mistress.
742. >Snuggling against her back, he murmured,
743. “I live to serve, my Lady…”
