                                            “And now all the pieces are in place.”

                                            >“You know we don’t approve of your methods.”

                                            “That was one I picked up from a friend, so blame her. All things considered, it seems to be working well enough.”

                                            >“You could have done this another way.”

                                            “You told me what you wanted to happen, and I agreed it should happen. You didn’t tell me how to do it, so I did it the way I wanted to do it.”

                                            >“Did you want her to come that close to death?”

                                            “I admit that was an error on my part, but she’s not dead. I’d care if she was, but she isn’t, so I don’t.”

                                            >“How long do you believe it will be until she recovers from that ‘error?’"

                                            “She’s a strong girl. It should only be a few months.”

                                            >“No more mistakes. This is already more risk than we’re comfortable with.”

                                            “That should be easy enough. It’s pretty much hooves, claws, paws, and/or hands off from this point on, right? All we need to do is watch and wait."
