  15. >Twilight's soft and cozy body was nestled up against you, her wings tucked in and her mane draped over the pillow you shared
  16. >her tail gave a small flick, caressing your leg and one of her ears giving an idle twitch at your stir
  17. >it was her perfect warmth and the smooth feeling of her fur that kept you warm at heart
  18. >upon you shifting in the sheets, the purple alicorn lifted her head slowly with a sleepy mumble
  19. >it was impossible not to smile at her adorable yawn before she turned to face you
  20. >"You sleep well~?"

  22. >you give a nod and hug her close, bringing your face closer to her own
  23. >the princess takes the opportunity and gives your nose a playful and loving bump with her own
  24. >she gently wiggles her nose and head, giving light brushes with her nose and muzzle to your own
  25. >after a bit, she carefully rests her head again, looking out the window
  26. >"Stay here for the day.. It's too cold to have you out there right now, anyway~"
  27. >that's all you need to cradle her into a spooning position and gently start to doze back off with the magical pony in your arms

  32. >You sit alone on the roof balcony of Twilight's castle, just stargazing deep in thought.
  33. >You've seen it a thousand times before, yet it's still as magical and mind blowingly beautiful as in the first time you saw it.
  34. >*ZAP* A familiar sound of teleportation fills the air as a certain alicorn Princess materializes behind you.

  38. >Still looking at the night sky, you hear how her clips and clops get closer.
  39. "Yeah... I saw something today which reminded me of home... And got me stuck in this endless loop of overthinking..."

  55. "Just don't tell Pinkie about the snoot booping.
  56. >"Hehe she would go on a boop rampage, booping every snoot in Ponyville trying to make everypony happy."

  70. >The cool night air turns and swirls around you, blowing into your back.

  73. >On entering you see a familiar figure. The tiny purple dragon, broom in hand finishing up his choors for the day.
  74. ”Hey Spike.”
  75. >You try to keep your voice down, keeping your presence between the two of you.
  76. >”Hey Anon! What's up!”
  77. “Shh!!!”
  78. >You hold your hands out prompting him to keep it the fuck down.
  79. >His eyes shoot open, almost dropping the broom to cover his mouth.
  80. >”Oh... Sorry, Anon...”
  81. >You lightly walk into the library, taking your coat off and placing it on the center table.
  82. ”Where's Twilight?”
  83. >”In her study I think. Why are we whispering?”
  84. “Don't worry about it.”
  85. >You pat the small dragon's head as you make your way to the back of the library.
  86. >As you approach the door to Twilight's study, you cup your ear against the door.
  87. >The faint sound of snoring can be heard from the other side. Twilight overdid it again.
  88. >You grasp the handle, taking extreme care to open the door without making a sound.
  89. >Deftly sliding into the room and closing the door behind you, you're met with another familiar figure.
  90. >Twilight Sparkle is once again passed the fuck out, face nuzzled in a heap of papers and books.
  91. >Faint candle light covers her face in a warm glow as you make your way toward her.
  92. >She shutters a bit in surprise before melting into your embrace once again.
  93. >”Anon. What are you doing here? It's late.”
  94. >You tighten your grip on her.
  95. “I wanted to see you.”
  96. >She smirks as you lighten your hug on her soft body.
  97. >She turns to you, gazing into your eyes. Her eyes wide with warmth and love, but also painted with a hint of curiosity.
  98. >”That's sweet, but I kind of have a lot of work to do. Can it wait until morning?

  100. >Once you're just behind her, you lean down placing both your hands on her narrow shoulders.
  101. >As you pull her into your embrace, you feel her body squirm and rustle, signalling her return to consciousness.
  102. >”Who is that.”
  103. “You know who.”
  104. >She shutters a bit in surprise before melting into your embrace once again.
  105. >”Anon. What are you doing here? It's late.”
  106. >You tighten your grip on her.
  107. “I wanted to see you.”
  108. >She smirks as you lighten your hug on her soft body.
  109. >She turns to you, gazing into your eyes. Her eyes wide with warmth and love, but also painted with a hint of curiosity.
  110. >”That's sweet, but I kind of have a lot of work to do. Can it wait until morning?
  111. >You bring a hand to the side of her face, cupping her cheek and bringing her in for a deep kiss.
  112. “No. 'fraid not.”
  113. >Your lips lock in a flow of exstacy,
  114. >Her previous reluctances washes away as she archs her back into the kiss, her tongue wrestling for dominance with yours.
  115. >You feel her front legs wrap around your kneck, pulling you in tightly.
  116. >You feel the warmth from her breathe was across your face, causing your heart to pusle wildly in your chest.
  117. >You send your hand back into your pocket, bumbling to grab the item you had been clenching all fucking day.
  118. >Twilight breaks the kiss, pulling away and staring at you with a playfully seductive gaze.
  119. >”Was there anything else you wanted?”

  121. >Finally you manage to grab the contents, deftly bring it into her view.
  122. “Just one more thing”
  123. >You open the small, black velvet box. The gold ring and modest diamond does what it can to shine in this humble light.
  124. >It wasn't an overly opulent ring. You were a working stiff afterall. But you worked hard to get her something appropriate.
  125. >Twilight breaks her gaze from you, her face washed in dumb confusion.
  126. >You can almost see the gears in her head struggle to turn and make sense of what is going on.
  127. >”... Ah.. Anon? What-”
  128. >You pull her in for another kiss. Her frozen face offers no resistance.
  129. “Twilight. I can't begin to tell you how much you mean to me.”
  130. >Her face never moves. Not a single muscle. But you notice tears welling in her eyes.

  132. >The tears build and build as her face begins to wince.
  133. >”Ahh.. Ahnohn?!”
  134. “Marry me, Twilight.”
  135. >Twilight's face explodes in tears and joy, throwing herself back into you, sobbing uncontrollably into your neck.
  136. >You squeeze her tight. You had your answer.
  137. >The kiss this time is something incredible. No way your tongue was winning this one.
  138. >Twilight wraps around you like a vice, making it clear that you were hers. Now and forever.
  139. >It takes some doing, but you manage to rest the ring on the desk before bringing the free hand back to her. Where it belonged.
  140. >The two of you continue the passion of your kiss for what seemed like an eternity.
  141. >Twilight eventually breaks off to catch a breathe and shoot you another sultry gaze. Eyes still showing sign of joyful tears and a playful smile.
