  1. *original author is Anon*
  2. ---
  3.
  4. >Be anon.
  5. >Died of a meth amphetamine overdose, found yourself in Equestria afterwards.
  6. >Don't know how, don't care why.
  7. >Fall into deep depression in cartoon pony land without your fix.
  8. >Ponies take pity on the poor guy slumming it up in ponyville.
  9. >Which is to say, your slumming did not last long. That little freak twilight sparkle was fascinated by you.
  10. >She wanted to run all sorts of tests, figure you out.
  11. >When she learned you were sleeping on the park bench, she immediately called in all of her friends together to deal with the problem immediately.
  12. >Somehow, Applejack decided to speak up on your behalf.
  13. >She felt bad you lost your entire family and were here alone.
  14. >It was decided that you would spend time at her place, in return you'd work the farm for her.
  15. >Easypeasylemonjizz.wav
  16. >You hit it off with the apple clan almost immediately.
  17. >Granny Smith has a kind of adoptive approach to you, she would tell you in talks on the porch between work and break about how proud she was of you.
  18. >Not easy to pull yourself up by the saddle after losing everything, but hoot n holler you sure did didnt you, anon?
  19. >Yes ma'am, you would tell her.
  20. >The taste of sweet tea in your tongue as you drink from a cool glass next to her. The rocking chair creaking it's message of comfort through the air.
  21. >She would look at you at times.
  22. >With a kind of longing.
  23. >Then she'd tell you that you're a good colt, and she's sure your parents would be proud to have you.
  24. >You'd laugh, nod, and say you hope she's right.
  25. >Sometimes she calls you son, quietly.
  26. >Only sometimes.
  27. >Apple bloom would take a shine to you next. Something about being an alien from another world really intrigued her. Kids are just like that anywhere you go, you suppose.
  28. >Applejack was the most keen on you by far though.
  29. >Hours could be spent, the two of you talking and joking out in the fields.
  30. >She would tell you with a blush that you make a great team, the two of you.
  31. >Her flirting was clumsy, a mess of half jokes and small talk.
  32. >You didn't mind it though.
  33. >You didn't mind really anything.
  34. >You don't feel anything.
  35. >Honest truth be told, you most likely suffer from a wide variety of untreated and undiagnosed mental disorders. But you are not in any position to find them out, not anymore.
  36. >The drugs treated them before. Not well, but it treated them.
  37. >Now you fester.
  38. >Like an open, leprous wound, you fester under the surface of your pristine and calm waters.
  39. >You play with the apple clan, you make them happy and you let them love you.
  40. >It passes the time.
  41. >When you learn about pony alcohol during cider season, your entire world changes.
  42.
  43. >Your mind is filled with electric violent light when you figure out these drinks they run a majority of their income on are alcoholic.
  44. >You are smooth, careful to feign a disinterest in it.
  45. >"What?!" Asks Rainbow Dash.
  46. >"You've never had a cider? Jeeze,"
  47. >She sighs disappointedly.
  48. >"I knew you were a pansy but I didn't know you were THAT bad.."
  49. >"Hey now!"
  50. >Retorted apple jack
  51. >"Anon ain't any kinda wimpy colt,"
  52. >"From what we here in the apple family know he's just a busy feller."
  53. >"Even then, ain't not any kinda thing you should be shaming a hard working pony on."
  54. >The two argued for quite some time.
  55. >Until eventually they laughed.
  56. >And dash pushed for you to take your first sip of equestrian cider.
  57. >The flavor is magnificent, setting your heart thumping. The fizz tickling your insides, leaving behind a small mustache on your face from the foam.
  58. >Everyone's proud of you for drinking it so quickly.
  59. >
  60. >
  61. >It doesn't start off bad right away.
  62. >It is a slow decline.
  63. >The alcohol is a warm and comforting friend, though she does not heal you the way the meth did.
  64. >She makes the festering worse.
  65. >But you like that you can feel it.
  66. >You like that you can feel it alot.
  67. >Something in you begins to change with Applejack, weeks pass and after work one day she begins nuzzling you and telling you that she loves you.
  68. >She wants to be your special somepony.
  69. >You laughed so hard you went blue in the face, when you looked at her again she looked on the verge of tears.
  70. >Quickly you put a stop to this, assuring you loved her too-you just laughed because it took so long for her to say it. Really, honestly.
  71. >You spend the rest of the evening with her, sitting and holding eachother. She feels warm in your lap.
  72. >Something about her reaction set off another violent, electric light in your brain. Energy pinching at every nerve of your body.
  73. >You had found something new.
  74. >
  75. >
  76.
  77. >You knew Applejack was a proud mare.
  78. >She wouldn't let you hit her, atleast not right away.
  79. >And she wouldn't let you talk down to her.
  80. >A little bit of trash talk though?
  81. >That was easy.
  82. >You slipped it in slowly and surely. You would tease her, she would laugh and cuddle next to you.
  83. >As time went on, when the two of you were alone, your light hearted trash talk got meaner.
  84. >Passive aggressive.
  85. >Little things to make her feel she isn't any good.
  86. >That would dig into her.
  87. >It took time, before it really started effecting her, but all good things take time.
  88. >She never has a large reaction to it.
  89. >She just seems confused.
  90. >She can't place why it makes her feel bad, or if you're being mean.
  91. >It just hurts.
  92. >She tried to show you she could be good.
  93. >You dashed every hope of hers with gentle hate. She was never allowed to have a full success, in anything.
  94. >If she bucks the trees, she never does it right.
  95. >When she kisses you, it is wrong.
  96. >Everything she does, she fails at.
  97. >You hurt her pride.
  98. >And it does effect her actual skill in work as the stress sets in.
  99. >Stress catches up like an old friend, and soon she really can't do anything. She's too nervous she's doing it wrong, something she never had to worry about before you came. She either tries too hard or doesn't try enough now.
  100. >When the rest of the apples tell her they'll take over her chores with you, she looks dizzy.
  101. >She protests.
  102. >They point out every mistake hemorrhages money.
  103. >And then she looks sick, before managing a weak nod.
  104.
  105. >You comfort her, tell her that you love her, reinforce you're here for her.
  106. >You'll always be by her side.
  107. >You love her even if she's a burden.
  108. >She cries into your shoulder softly.
  109. >You pet her mane, listening to crickets chirp that night.
  110. >
  111. >
  112. >Applejack is miserable, she's been relegated to basically doing nothing all day.
  113. >She watches when the trees are bucked as if she lost something near to her heart.
  114. >But she finds solace in exercising now.
  115. >The action of working out makes her feel alive, connected.
  116. >You'll have to figure out how to deal with that.
  117. > Mac watches you sometimes.
  118. >You don't know if he knows what you're doing, but it unsettles you when you see the pony watching you through the treeline on the days you're helping pick apples for the family.
  119. >You may need to deal with that at some point.
  120. >The other apples still think the world of you though.
  121. >
