-
>"I reckon that's gotta be one of the nicest things anypony has done for me, Anon."
-
"Come on AJ, you don't have to go that far."
-
>It can't be right when all you did was invite her to Ponyville's new human-themed bar right when there's a 4-men country band in town (all traveling with their mares, of course).
-
>But your match, Applejack, is having none of your excuses.
-
>Her smile grows wider when she sees you blush from her compliment. It satisfies her so when she gets a reaction out of you.
-
>"Ah'm just bein' honest is all," she crosses her forelegs smugly, demonstrating the new boots you got her right before this outing.
-
>Both practical AND stylish. She nearly started crying when you presented them to her. But then again she gets sappy at a drop of a hat when you do literally anything for her.
-
>It was strange seeing her like that but it's definitely not the strangest thing when it comes to her attention to you.
-
>"Now I've gotta repay you somehow for this."
-
>You knew this was gonna happen.
-
"No need, it's me who's got to-"
-
>"Nonsense, 'Non, do I look like I need an excuse to do good by my sweet 'uman?" she waits for a moment and adds. "Don't answer that."
-
"I appreciate it, I really do," you assure her. "I just...you've done so much for me already, I feel like I'm kinda lagging behind in the pleasantries department."
-
>"Oh, well, darn it," AJ looks away. "I'm just no good in expressin' those fancy mare feelings, so that's all that comes out from that!"
-
"T-that's not what I- What do you mean?"
-
>"I mean that you mean an awful lot to me, sugarcube," your match finally has the courage to look into your eyes. "And the way you make me happy, I'm not sure how... What I... Ugh, words."
-
>The mare shrugs and hopes you understand her anyway. You think you do, but it doesn't make things easier.
-
"You don't have to repay me for anything, it's okay. I'm in your debt as is."
-
>"But I want to!"
-
>Well, there's nothing you can do about that reason.
-
>Drinking more of your "human alcohol" you wonder how it all even came to this kind of conversation transpiring in a bar with the band playing "A Changeling, A Shotgun & You" in the background while you're sitting in your alabaster colored suit, shoes and hat with a black shirt that has a gold pocket watch on a chain in its pocket - all most likely absurdly expensive.
-
>All gifts from your mare. And that was just the mundane stuff.
-
>When you first learned your match is gonna be Applejack you wondered how that's gonna work out since you've got basically nothing in common with her. Turns out your usual associations with farm work had nothing to do with anything.
-
>The pony's head over heels for you and you don't really know why. But not only is she a complete cuddlebug who giggles like a filly when you get your hands on her toned body, she's also very prone to pampering you like you're a city kid visiting a distant country relative.
-
>Well, it's not THAT far from the truth, in a way. But it's just strange watching this mare being the kind of softie who'd let out a girly gasp seeing you in that new suit, or lock her eyes on you with a wistful smile when you do chores or play with Applebloom.
-
>It's not like you feel unhappy about it, you just weren't ready for her to be this...persistent.
-
>Whatever you needed, you got. And then some beyond that too.
-
>Especially everything that even remotely involved apples.
-
>Guess that's one thing you can't fault her for. Applejack doesn't half-ass anything, including her relationship.
-
>And to make matters worse, her friends not only enable her, but also encourage her. Like Rarity roping her into getting half a dozen different outfits for you (for cheap, thankfully).
-
>Or Rainbow Dash already planning to outmatch Applejack in displays of affection as soon as she gets her own match, which she demonstrably refused to until her rival got you.
-
>But worst of all is, probably, the fact that you understand how she feels because she makes you really happy too. Just being with her is so calming, so nice. The caring hooves of the earnest, reliable mare who just wants the best for you, what could be better?
-
>You hate to admit it but you know that if you were in her position, you'd probably do the same. It's just she's the native and you're the alien with nothing to your name but a matching certificate and a promise to love her.
-
>"I just can't help it," the mare's gaze into your eyes makes you focus on her again. "Each time I see you smile, it makes me want to getcha the whole Equestria on a silver platter, if you know what I'm saying."
-
"I... I guess I do?"
-
>"It's just that alcohol gettin' to yer head, honey," Applejack grins. "Don't you worry about it."
-
"I'm not that drunk, you know."
-
>But you sure are blushing a lot tonight. This must've been your mare's plan all along, you know how much she loves to fluster you. You being unprepared to experience that side of her always made it easy for her.
-
>"You sure? I was just thinking how it's getting late and we could...take a detour on our way home."
-
>Oh, you know what that she's up to. Apple family's orchard was a very convenient shortcut, and a very conveniently silent and secluded shortcut at that.
-
>The way your mare is batting her eyelashes at you it's obvious what she has in mind.
-
"I'd love that," you nod, returning the smile she's giving you.
-
>You are both deep in your own thoughts while strolling through the mostly empty streets of the nightly Ponyville. But once you get to the apple tree domain, Applejack grabs your attention:
-
>"Gosh, what a wonderful night."
-
>You stop to look at the clear night sky above. There's so many stars you could swear Equestria is somewhere in the middle of the galaxy.
-
>"But not as wonderful as you've been tonight."
-
>You nearly let out a laugh but the feeling of your pony putting her head right against your leg makes you smile warmly instead.
-
>She's waiting for you to pet her, you know that. You give her just what she wants.
-
>The satisfied sigh of hers is followed by some affectionate nuzzling. She can't help it and now you're affected by her enthusiasm as well.
-
>Already looking around in search for a good shady tree to stay under, you squat right in front of your pony and she readily puts her forelegs onto your extended arm.
-
>In a well trained motion you pick Applejack up and push her against your chest. After a brief hug she finds herself carried like a princess with her muzzle right next to your face.
-
>Needless to say, they dock almost immediately, in the sweetest kiss she can give.
-
>Which is every kiss she gives you, as far as you're concerned.
-
>In the silence of the night around you every loud breath, every satisfied nicker Applejack lets out between deep, hungry kisses is perfectly clear.
-
>When the mare is content with the amount of affection she's given you for the moment, she stares you deep in the eyes. She looks way more drunk than you are right now and she hasn't even touched alcohol tonight.
-
>She licks her lips and comments:
-
>"Bitter."
-
>You both laugh at that but the pony soon averts her gaze.
-
>"Sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable with all this attention, 'Non."
-
"No, it's nothing like that," you're quick to correct her. "You're not doing anything weird and I really appreciate it. I just don't know how to react and... It makes me feel like I'm ungrateful since I can't do much in return."
-
>"Wha- That's just silly!" she assures you by nodding a few times. "Being here with me is already too much for me to-"
-
"It's okay, don't sweat it."
-
>Applejack smiles bashfully and finally looks back at you again.
-
"I'm sure I'll get used to it. Sooner or later."
-
>"You better! At least our kids won't have any problem with me being too sweet."
-
>Damn mare is so smug every time she reminds you how matter-of-factly she's taking your relationship.
-
>She's really not shy about it at all. Even in front of others. She always shines her family a big smile in the morning after every sleepless night she spends with you. That might fluster you even more than her awkward attempts at dirty talk and honest, unbridled moans she's sparing nobody in the house from, not even Applebloom.
-
>"You. Are. So. Precious."
-
>This time you lean in for the kiss and the mare giggles when you give both her cheeks loud smooches.
-
"Only you think that, AJ."
-
>"Darn right I am!" the pony takes her turn to lean in right to your ear. "Because you are all mine and only mine."
-
>With every kiss she descends down your neck and with her tongue caressing it now her intentions are unmistakable.
-
>At least here it's far away from anyone who might hear AJ's loud passionate voice. And if some curious pony does approach the orchard she'll just think it's some wild animal from the Everfree wailing at the moon or something.
-
>She never hides the way you make her feel. Sugarcube in the streets, salt lick in the sheets, as they say. Worst of all, it's her who says that.
-
>"Let's find a place to settle down for a bit."
-
>AJ's breathing is already full of excitement. She knows what she needs right now.
-
"I don't wanna get the suit dirty," you replying playfully.
-
>"I'll clean it myself later," the mare smiles against your skin and nudges you to move a few times with her forehead at your cheek.
-
"Another treat from you, huh?"
-
>"There's a lot more where that came from," her voice is already sultry and needy. "But if you'd rather hold me like that..."
-
>Your hand pinches the pliable flank it's supporting and that teases a cute giggle out of your match.
-
>"That's what I thought," she says when you start moving to the tree you've already noted for yourself earlier.
-
"You're such a sweet talker, AJ. That's why I love you so much."
-
>"Just that?"
-
"Oh, you want a list of reasons right now?"
-
>"Nope, just you is enough."
-
>She takes her place on top of you when you sit down under the chosen tree and immediately goes for a strong squeeze of a hug.
-
>"And 'Non... I love you too."
