Expiry: Never

  1. Applejack whipped some sweat off her forehead as she got out of a muddy puddle having just dug a hole. Right now she was covered in mud but the hard work felt good.
  2. That was when Rarity came strolling by. Rarity cringed and pulled back a little as she saw Applejack. For somepony who went on an on about manners, she sure was rude sometimes.
  3. >“Applejack.” Rarity closed her eyes. “We need to have a talk about all this.”
  4. Rarity waved across Applejack’s farm.
  5. “My farm?” Applejack had no idea where this was going.
  6. >“You in general. I’ve come up with a solution to your… problem.”
  7. Rarity took out a book glowing with green magic. That book… it was the same book that drove her crazy not two weeks prior!
  8. “Rarity!” Applejack’s look became confrontational straight away. “What the hay are you doing with that book again?! Don’t you remember what happened last time?”
  9. >“But don’t you see? I can use this book to do so much good! That’s why I just had to track it down again. Don’t you see the opportunity here?”
  10. Rarity and Applejack’s eyes both glowed green for a moment. Suddenly, Applejack… saw Rarity’s point of view.
  11. “I reckon ya got a point.” Applejack nodded. “Long as ya use that book for good it ain’t so bad.”
  12. >“Heeeeheehee!” Rarity squealed a little as she giggle and tapped the ground with her forehooves. “I can’t believe it actually worked! Oh finally I can get everything I want and deserve!”
  13. “Well don’t go overboard with it,” Applejack warned. “You don’t want to make the same mistake as last time.”
  14. >“Hm?” Rarity smirked and turned back to Applejack. “No need to worry. I know I was careless last time. I won’t be making THAT mistake again. This time I’ll make sure nopony ruins my plans.”
  15. “Plans?” Applejack asked. “What exactly are you planning to do with that anyhow?”
  16. >“I’m going to set things right,” said Rarity. “Applejack, don’t you think it’s unfair? Twilight got to become a princess and not us? Despite the fact that we’ve accomplished just as much as she did? And Twilight doesn’t even want to be a princess! She’s squandered it completely.”
  17. “I guess I agree it’d be better for the pony who actually wanted to be a princess to be one.” Applejack shrugged. “But there ain’t no way to change the past. Frankly I don’t want to be a princess either.”
  18. >“Oh, really?” Rarity smiled wide and her eyes glowed green. “You don’t want to be a princess even a little bit?”
  19. “Well.” Applejack took her hat off, her eyes glowing green to match Rarity’s. “Now that you mention it maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to be a princess. You’d get the best of everything. Live right in the lap of luxury, not having to work so hard just to make ends meet.”
  20. >“Yes, yes!” Rarity’s eyes glowed brighter. “And don’t you think you deserve to live in luxury, Applejack? Don’t you deserve to be appreciated and admired? Shouldn’t other ponies look up to you? Love you simply for being better than them? Because are you not better than the common ponies.”
  21. “You know what…?” Applejack threw her hat on the ground in protest. “You’re darn right! I’m an element of harmony and saved the world plenty of times! Why am I still struggling with my finances? I do deserve respect from everypony. I am better than them.”
  22. >“Exactly!” Rarity’s smile was one of absolute elation at this point. “You should be a princess!”
  23. >“I should be a princess.” Applejack nodded. “But then why ain’t I?”
  24. >“Isn’t it obvious?” Rarity’s eye glow died down. Her smile became a bit more sly. “You aren’t treated as a princess because you don’t act like one.”
  25. >“I don’t…?” Applejack looked down at herself, covered in mud. It really was true…
  26. >“Exactly! You run around working like a commoner, acting like a tomboy instead of being regal like a noblemare.” Rarity lifted her head in pride. “Nopony will ever give you the respect you deserve if you look and act like that.”
  27. Applejack felt dirty now. Unlike Rarity, she didn’t behave like a lady at all. Rarity was right… she deserved to be treated like a lowly commoner the way she acted.
  28. >“Well, I sure do want to be a princess but I’m still just a commoner ain’t I?” Applejack looked down at the mud she was standing in with disappointment. “Nothing I can do about that.”
  29. >“Don’t you see?” Rarity held up her book. “With this I can make you a princess!”
  30. Rarity shot a bold of green magic at Applejack. Instantly, her hair became longer and braided itself tastefully. Her fur cleaned itself off and became velvety smooth and perfectly combed. Her rough hooves became soft and dainty.
  31. Finally, Rarity adorned Applejack with jewelry and an elaborate dress fit for a princess.
  32. Applejack didn’t just feel clean, she felt better than ever. She felt like she was a shinning beacon of light. She felt like she really should be worshiped and adored just for being a princess!
  33. >“I feel a whole heck of a lot better now!” Applejack smiled proudly. “All wrapped up and fancy just like a princess!”
  34. >“Yes, but we must correct your behavior as well if you’re to be a princess,” said Rarity. “You can’t have mud on your dress now can you?”
  35. >“No! I can’t!” Applejack cringed at the mud just like Rarity had before.
  36. >“That means no more farm work and no more associating with filthy peasants,” Rarity reminded her.
  37. >“Course not!” Applejack lifted her head proudly and strutted away from the mud gracefully like a proper noblemare. “If I’m gonna be a princess I can’t hardly do anything so lowly no more. I reckon being a princess and getting pampered all day just for being me sounds much better than doing farm work anyhow.”
  38. Rarity bit her lower lip in excitement and applauded Applejack for walking so properly. It really was working. Applejack was finally being appreciated. She should have tried to be a proper princess sooner.
  39. >“Yes. But also a princess should be… hm… well spoken.”
  40. >“Now what the hay is wrong with the way I-“ Applejack’s eyes glowed again and she knew exactly Rarity meant. “I suppose you’re right. I’m right ashamed of the way I speak.”
  41. Applejack didn’t even want to speak again for fear of hearing her horrible, sloppy way of speaking coming from her own mouth. It was like she was in a horror story.
  42. >“No need to worry!” Rarity and Applejack’s eyes both glowed brighter. “That’s the sort of thing I can fix with my book!”
  43. Applejack felt a tickle in her throat.
  44. >“Is it working?” Applejack asked and her eyes went wide with delight.
  45. Applejack’s accent was exactly the same as Rarity’s now. Applejack felt elated to hear such an elegant accent coming from her own mouth.
  46. >“Oh my, this certainly is refreshing!” Applejack smiled at the sound of her own voice. “I’d always been ever so jealous of how well spoken you were but never thought I could really be like you. The rain on the plain. Yes, this is magnificent!”
  47. >“I was getting awfully tired of hearing that lowly accent you used to have,” said Rarity.
  48. >“That I’ll never have to hear such a vulgar accent coming from myself really is a relief,” said Applejack.
  49. >“You see?” Rarity smiled with satisfaction. “I told you that you could be a princess and now you are. I declare you Princess Applejack.
  50. >“I really am a princess, aren’t I?” Princess Applejack lifted her head in the air with pride. “As if I deserve any less.”
  51. Just then Derpy flew by, landing next to them carrying a package.
  52. “Wow! That sure is a fancy dress there, Applejack,” said Derpy.
  53. >“Excuse you?!” Applejack turned to Derpy and pouted.
  54. “Um.” Derpy blinked a few times. “I’m excused?”
  55. >“I just promoted Applejack to princess,” Rarity explained. “You can’t just speak to her like you’re on a first name basis. You are a mere commoner and should be acting like one!”
  56. Derpy’s eyes glowed green and a look of horror came over her face.
  57. >“Oh no!” Derpy bowed down to Applejack as fast as she could. “I’m so sorry, princess! I can’t believe I forgot myself like that!”
  58. >“There! Much better!” Applejack smiled smugly and lifted her head in pride. “As I lack any other servants for the time being, I’ll allow you to attend me until Rarity can fix things more properly.”
  59. Applejack lifted her hind leg, signaling Derpy to rush over and lift the back part of her dress, carrying it as the two noblemares walked to keep it from getting any dirt on it.
  60. >”Thank you so much for forgiving me, Princess Applejack!” Derpy bowed to her again.
  61. >“I’m so proud of how you turned out,” said Rarity. “I knew there was a proper lady trapped in there under all that dirt and tomboyishness.”
  62. >“Oh, I can never thank you enough for freeing me from that mental prison,” said Applejack. “Now I can live a life of luxury like I was always meant for. I’ll never need to work on this farm again. If you ever need anything from me, darling, please consider me your humble servant.”
  63. >“Yes, actually.” Rarity’s smile became increasingly excited. “I was hoping to run an idea past you… I was thinking of declaring myself the queen of the whole entire world! I want to polish the minds of everypony in all of Equestria just like I did to you. The other five of you will be made into princesses, but I will stand above all of you as the most perfect and adored queen of all time.”
  64. >“Yes! That sounds absolutely divine!” Applejack put a hoof on her cheek and pondered the possibilities. “Of course I support your takeover of Equestria. Somepony needs to keep those common peasants in their place if we nobelmares are to live the life of luxury we were meant to. I'll do whatever I can to help them embrace your personality and rule. The elements of harmony will be united once more under you. To Queen Rarity!
  65.
  66.
  67. >Hm? What's that Spikey, dear? You're worried about Rarity and Applejack?
  68. >I can't imagine whyever for! They came by to talk to me earlier and they both seemed fine. Why, Applejack seemed better than ever, even! I really must say, her new attitude was such an incredibly refreshing change of pace.
  69. >Why, Queen Rarity even promoted me to the position of princess! Can you believe it? I'm finally a noblemare just like her.
  70. >Of course, she insisted that I act the part. I've given up all that hyperactive bouncing and yelling I used to do. Frankly, it'd ruin my dress. From now on my servants will take care of putting together my parties and I'm certain they'll be much higher class.
  71. >Really, now. How many questions are you going to ask me. I don't have all day to spend on silly dragons like you.
  72. >I need to go make myself presentable to our new queen. Tata.
  73.
  74.
  75. “She’s right down there,” Cloud Kicker whispered to Spike.
  76. A number of pegasi were hiding behind town hall, keeping an eye on Rarity. Nearly half the town had fallen under Rarity’s spell just since this morning! It was getting hard to find ponies who were willing to take a stand against her.
  77. “She already got Flitter.” Cloud Kicker pointed to her sister, who was bowing low to Rarity. “We have to do something before we all end up like her!”
  78. Rarity herself sat atop a throne made of solid gold. It took six earth ponies to lift it up and carry it down the street with Rarity lounging about on top of it. Meanwhile, four pegasi flew behind, holding banners for the new queen.
  79. Once again the town had been altered, everything morphed into overly ornate versions of themselves. The town continued to morph as Rarity was carried forward, like an invisible aura surrounded her that Rarified anything that came within it.
  80. The major difference form last time? Nopony was panicking. At least, none of the ponies nearby. Now, ponies came out of their houses as Rarity passed to bow down to her and cheer for their new queen.
  81. Spike noticed all of the mares affected were wearing dresses and were perfectly manicured and styled. Though the vast majority of them only wore simple clothes, far more humble than what she’d put Applejack and Pinkie Pie in. Maybe she wanted them to ‘respect their stature’ as she’d said before.
  82. He had to go talk to her! It worked last time… he just needed to find out how things had gone wrong yet again.
  83. “Rarity! You gotta stop this!” Spike called out to her. “We already went over this before, right? The book is making you act this way. The changes you’re making aren’t what the town wants!”
  84. >Yes, yes! Well I gave that a bit more thought. The problem is that these changes are UNWANTED, isn’t it?
  85. “Well, yeah!”
  86. >Well I know for a fact that MY taste is absolutely perfect so that means the real problem is simply that everypony who doesn’t want my changes is wrong. As their new queen it’s up to me to correct their flawed opinions and tastes.
  87. Rarity plucked another pegasus, Cloud Kicker, from the line of resistors. Cloud Kicker fought hard, but Rarity’s magic was like a hydraulic press clamping down on her. The unicorn’s magic was simply too powerful for a pegasus to resist at this point.
  88. >Take this little filly, for example. She’s far too much of a tomboy for her own good. Look at that vulgar hairstyle. The complete lack of jewelry. The utter lack of fashion sense. Her fur is dreadfully split and her hoofs look like they haven’t been manicured in decades. I know for a fact that she hates wearing dresses.
  89. “I don’t get hooficures!” Cloud Kicker objected. “Not every mare wants to be some prim little lady, okay?”
  90. >You see? She clearly has such terrible opinions. Whyever would I take into account that such an uncultured ruffian doesn’t want my changes, hm? She doesn’t know what’s good for her. Let’s civilize her, shall we?
  91. Cloud Kicker’s eyes began to glow green. Her wings became surrounded by the same green glow. She struggled, but was soon on the ground before Rarity.
  92. >No, no! Being a tomboy is simply a fillyhood phase that you need to let go of if you ever want to grow up into an actual mare. When I’m don there won’t be any tomboys left at all!
  93. Cloudchaser continued to struggle on the ground. Her hair was refined to look more like Flitter’s. Her fur cleaned and brushed out to perfection. A nice, white dress appeared around her. Her rough hooves became dainty and polished.
  94. “No, that’s not true! It’s just who I am!” Cloudchaser tried to argue through the spell. “Liking different things from you isn’t something I have to grow out of!”
  95. >A mare is feminine, soft-spoken, graceful and ladylike. Mares eschew activities meant for stallions and care about beauty and reputation. If you aren’t any of those then it’s because you failed to grow into a mare. I’m giving you a chance to finally become one.
  96. “I…” Cloudchaser’s eyes became an even deeper green. “No… you’re right. Please! I want to be a real mare like you are!”
  97. >Well you can’t hardly be like me, but bow down and you can at least be respectable.
  98. “Yes, Queen Rarity.” Cloudchaser bowed to her.
  99. The changes stopped and Cloudchaser stood back up, stunned. Her eyes turned back to normal.
  100. “I really do look so much better like this.” Cloudchaser turned in place, looking herself over. “Oh my, I can’t believe I was behaving in such a dreadful manner. I can’t possible thank you enough for making me a respectable member of society at long last!”
  101. >And what do you think of all the changes I’m made to this town, hm?
  102. “It’s positively wonderful, your majesty!” Cloud Kicker looked around in awe. “To think that a place as backwater as Ponyville could be this illustrious and elegant in its appearance. That the whole world might become like this is a simply breathtaking idea! Finally a world where everypony behaves themselves!”
  103. Cloudchaser’s wings glowed a second time, this time the green magic flew from Cloudchaser to Rarity’s horn.
  104. >And of course I take a small, 10% of the magic from each pony I give this therapy to. It’s like a tax to their new queen. It’s necessary to ensure I grow strong enough to overtake anypony who would oppose my changes.
  105. “I’m happy to pay it, my queen.” Cloud Kicker gave Rarity such a graceful bow. “It’s a small price to pay to have everything set exactly as it should be.”
  106. “Oh no.” Spike backed away. “I have to find some way to stop this before it’s too late. Again!”
  107. Rarity rolled her eyes.
  108. >Oh please. Boys are even easier to deal with. All I have to do is make you think this is all ‘hot’ and you won’t lift a claw to oppose me.
  109. “Wait, what?”
  110. Rarity and Spike’s eyes both glowed green briefly. Spike looked over the scene once more and…
  111. “Uh! I gotta go somewhere private!” Spike ran off as fast as he could.
  112.
  113.
  114. “I’m telling you! Rarity took the book back up and now it’s even worse!” Dash complained to Twilight. “She’s brainwashing everypony!”
  115. “I think you’re right.” Twilight looked out the window. “She’s filling the town with gaudy designs all over again.
  116. “Actually, I think it kind of looks nice this time,” Dash admitted.
  117. “What?”
  118. Rarity threw open the door and strode in with her head high like she owned the place. Dash noticed that she was wearing her element of harmony around her neck. She also made a pair of matching boots, wearing them on her front let. They were both gold with a blue diamond gem planted inside them
  119. Rarity sat down on her throne and cast a spell. The other thrones in the room crumbled to dust, leaving Twilight and Dash to fall to the floor. Meanwhile, Rarity’s throne grew twice as all and ornate so that she was now looking down at them.
  120. “Rarity!” Twilight stood up. “We need to talk!”
  121. >Yes, we absolutely do need to talk. Now Twilight, dear! It’s come to my attention that you’ve been running around calling yourself a princess?
  122. Rarity watched Twilight closely with a pouty face.
  123. “Um…” Twilight wasn’t sure how to respond. “I’d hardly say I run around declaring the fact that I’m a princess. You know I don’t like acting like I’m above everypony else.”
  124. >Tut! That unbecoming humility is exactly how I know you’re not a real princess! A true noble should realize that she truly IS above the common rabble. The main job of a princess is to be admired by those beneath her. The commoners will only accept their lot in life if they truly thing the nobility deserve to be above them.
  125. “Okay, you’re clearly delusional like Rainbow said,” said Twilight.
  126. >I’m not the one pretending to be a princess. I’ve come to the realization that nopony is truly a noble unless they were given that status by myself and have my approval. That includes you. I’d like you to hand over your crown for now. I’ll correct your personality and teach you how to be an actual princess once you do.
  127. “I think I might need to restrain her for now,” said Twilight.
  128. Twilight tried summoning chains to wrap around Rarity. Rarity merely turned her cheek and with a ‘hmph’ destroyed them all.
  129. Next, Twilight tried firing magic missiles at Rarity, who effortlessly blocked them with a green shield.
  130. “How did she get this strong?!” Twilight gasped. “I-“
  131. Rarity returned fire and Twilight tried to shield herself.
  132. Dash merely stared as Rarity blew through Twilight’s shield. Then Twilight was on her back. Then Rarity stomped a hoof down on Twilight’s stomached, knocking the wind out of the alicorn while she raised her head in total triumph.
  133. >There! You see? I’m far superior to any alicorn. Now it’s time for me to get rid of this delusion you’ve fallen under.
  134. “No!” Twilight squirmed beneath Rarity.
  135. But it was too late. Her horn and eyes turned green just like Rarity’s.
  136. “I… You’re right, Rarity! I haven’t been acting like a princess at all, have I?” The green in Twilight’s eyes deepened.
  137. >Yes! Just open your mind and let me get rid of all those low-class thoughts of yours.
  138. Dash tried charging forward, but Rarity’s magic blasted her back.
  139. She was helpless as Twilight got a princess makeover.
  140. Finally, the green faded.
  141. “Ahhhh.” Twilight let out a sigh or relief. “That’s much better! I feel completely refreshed. How could I have really acted like all those commoners were equal to me? I was given the title of princess but completely squandered it by forgoing all the decadence that one in such a position deserves. I can never thank you enough for showing me the truth, Queen Rarity.”
  142. >There! Now that you’re my subject how about giving me the crown I deserve.
  143. “Yes, my queen.” Twilight bowed low and handed over her crown. the element of magic.
  144. Rarity had a giddy little smile as she put the crown snuggly into its new place. The element of harmony became enveloped by the green electricity.
  145. When the light cleared, the crown was still on Rarity’s head but the gem in that resembled Twilight’s cutie mark was now a blue diamond similar to Rarity’s.
  146. >There! The regalia of harmony is nearly complete! You may rise, Twilight! Now that you’ve been corrected I can promote you to princess. You’ll have your own, slightly smaller crown in due time.
  147. “Oh, crap!” Dash’s eyes went wide as she realized what happened. Those boots… they used to be the elements of laughter and honesty, didn’t they?! If Rarity got all of them…
  148. “Whatever is the matter, Rainbow Dash?” Twilight pouted. “Do you not like the new me? Well it’s not like the opinion of some filthy commoner matters much. Just look at you with that dreadful haircut!”
  149. >Yes, I swear! Rainbow Dash has such a nice body yet she seems positively determined to squander it. How dreadful!
  150. The two of them laughed haughtily at Dash like a couple of spoiled rich girls.
  151. “Come- come on, Twilight! You gotta snap out of it!” Dash begged. “Without you, I’m not sure if we can get out of this!”
  152. “And why would I want to get out of this?” Twilight lifted her chin up high to look down at Dash. “I’m finally a princess for real! I feel better than I ever have.”
  153. >Indeed. You’re the one who needs to ‘snap out of it’, dear. Do you really want to go on with this delusion of being a filthy little tomboy forever? I can tell how jealous you are of how beautiful the rest of us are now.
  154. “J-jealous?” Dash knew it was the spell, but her heart skipped a beat.
  155. Dash bit her lip. She really did feel jealous. Rarity was so beautiful and perfect, completely elegant in every way. Dash felt dirty and ugly by comparison, was embarrassed that the others were even looking at her.
  156. Rarity saw this and smiled.
  157. >There you are! No need for you to keep suffering like this. Just come over here and I can make you into a pretty princess as well.
  158. “There’s really no reason for us to fight,” said Twilight. “Rarity can fix anypony! Even you.”
  159. Something deep inside Dash filled her with a longing to go over and join her friends. She took a nervous step forward.
  160. Rarity smiled and cast a spell. Her mane and tail grow much longer. The split ends healed and it took on a magnificent sheen. Rarity straightened and styled it into something more tasteful and befitting of a young lady.
  161. >See? Isn’t that what you’ve craved your whole life?
  162. Dash felt like it was! She looked into the mirror and felt like she was seeing her true self for the first time. She really could be elegant like Rarity!
  163. >Now come closer. It’s what you’ve always wanted, isn’t it?
  164. This was really… what Dash always wanted…
  165. “No!” Dash summoned all her willpower to snap out of it. “I gotta get out of here! I need to rescue Fluttershy!”
  166. Dash flew off as fast as she could. Twilight got ready to cast a spell to stop her.
  167. >No, no. Rainbow Dash is already too far gone to truly escape. She’ll come to me in due time.
  168.
  169.
  170. Rarity and her three princesses sat in the throne room of what had been Twilight’s castle until a few house ago. It had been remade to Rarity’s liking, with her throne looming over the whole room. But for now Rarity descended from her throne to dine with the lesser nobles.
  171. They sat at a round table eating the most elegant miniature cakes as they drank the most expansive and luxurious tea. Octavia and Vinyl Scratch played the violin and cello for them. Her princesses were all dressed in the absolute most beautiful dresses, most expensive jewelry and had their had their manes done perfectly.
  172. Rarity was so proud of her friends. Applejack and Pinkie Pie, who would have been suboptimal guests prior, now behaved with the height of courtly manners. They really had blossomed into perfect ladies. She watched with glee as Pinkie Pie placed one hoof on the back of her teacup and lifted it gingerly to her mouth, holding her other hoof just below the cup, and sipped daintily and politely from the cup before setting it back down with grace.
  173. Ponyville was completely under her control now. Every single pony who hadn’t fled the town now acknowledge Rarity as their queen. Outside the town had been ‘corrected’ to the utmost extent. Everypony out there lived in a fancy home, wore fancy clothes and thought fancy thoughts.
  174. >“I really must compliment you on this lovely get together.” Applejack bowed her head. “And of course for finally taking the opulence that we deserved all along. From now on we’ll be living in the absolute most decadence and luxury, won’t we?”
  175. >“Indeed.” Rarity smiled, proud. “Though it isn’t just us having the nicest things from now on. All of my subjects will live greatly enriched lives. They’ll all behave with perfect manners and respect their place in life. Not to mention they’ll all be well spoken and have proper taste for once. Nopony in this town will be saying ‘y’all’ again.”
  176. >“Oh, please don’t reminded me of that.” Applejack put a hoof over her heart.
  177. The others laughed.
  178. >“Perhaps most importantly, everypony finally acknowledges me for the absolute queen of perfection that I am!” Rarity giggled a little in her chair, giddy with excitement. “Everypony finally looks up to me with the utmost admiration! I am loved and adored by all in my kingdom. I can see it in all of their eyes.”
  179. >“It’s nice that the six of us finally get the respect we deserve.” Pinkie lifted her chin proudly. “I really do need to wonder what was wrong with everypony up till now. They should have been groveling to the six of us from the moment we first saved them all from Nightmare Moon.”
  180. Pinkie closed her eyes and sent the maid away with a flick of her wrist and a prissy ‘hmph’. Of course, she was obeyed without question. Far from offended, the help now respected their place. They watched the royals with something bordering on awe, as was proper for ponies of their stature.
  181. >“It is refreshing to finally live in a world where ponies respect their rank absolutely,” Twilight agreed. “I no longer need to pretend that the ponies in the streets are my equals. I rather enjoy that they finally understand how far above them I am and simply bow to me.”
  182. >“Quite.” Pinkie took another sip of her tea. “It’s good to know that the rabble will no longer be attending any of my parties. It will only be the highest class affair with the most notable ponies from now on. I really despise having to associate with those beneath me. I shudder to imagine how you do it, my queen.”
  183. >“Well I am the element of generosity,” Rarity joked.
  184. Everypony laughed.
  185. >“Sadly, there is still work to do.” Twilight waved for her servant to come over and pour her tea. “Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy made fools of themselves by escaping town. That’s why they aren’t here to enjoy the opulent splendor of Queen Rarity’s generosity.”
  186. >“One and a half,” Rarity corrected her. “It’s a matter of time before Rainbow Dash succumbs to the spell I cast on her and joins us.”
  187. >“I still don’t like the idea of one as magnificent as you stooping to their level!” Pinkie gave another ‘hmph’ as she puffed out a cheek and turned away. “It’s as if you’re reaching into a garbage can to pull them out! Them! Peasants!”
  188. >“Yes, yes. I know,” said Rarity. “But they can be polished gems in time. And it really wasn’t much different for all of you. There is a refined lady waiting in both of them just as there was in each of you. When I’m done, the six of us will be the most glorious mares who ever lived, I assure you.”
  189. >“Speaking of those who are beneath us,” Twilight continued. “What do you intend to do with the current pretenders? That is to say Luna and Celestia who continue to insult you with their claims. Surely they’re going to try and undo all of our hard work, won’t they?”
  190. >“Oh my.” Applejack shuddered. “The thought of such peasants dragging me back to the farm! Dreadful!”
  191. >“No need to worry yourselves, my subjects,” said Rarity. “Those two will be taken care of in turn.
  192. >“But will they be made into princesses as well?” Twilight asked.
  193. >“No, no. I think it best if the two of them are reduced to lowly commoners to make room for myself.” Rarity puffed her hair. “You have no idea how hard it was to grow up being so jealous of Celestia. Her having everything I wanted while I needed to look up to her longingly. She had endless wealth and presitgee, immorality, immense magical powers, a perfect body and wings. Don’t you all think I deserved that more than her?”
  194. The others were quick to agree, nodding sympathetically to Rarity’s plight.
  195. >“Absolutely,” said Applejack. “Why Celestia should be jealous of you!”
  196. >“Exactly.” Rarity sipped her tea. “That’s why I want to take it all for myself, leaving them as maids or common farmers or the like. Twilight, darling, you’re the one with the most magical knowledge. I was hoping you could find some way to transfer their alicornhood to myself? Then they can finally look up to me from a lowly position.”
  197. >“Oh, you’re in luck, my queen.” Twilight bowed her head. “Not only do I remember the spell with which they lent me their power, but there was also that instance where three unicorns attempted to steal Rainbow Dash’s wings for themselves. I have no doubt I can combine the two to serve you.”
  198. Rarity had to hold back a squeal of delight! Finally she was so close to her fillyhood dream! But there would be time for that later. She needed to remain regal in front of her new subject.
  199. >“Of course we’ll need to bring Fluttershy into the fold first,” Rarity admitted. “There’s one or two threats we’ll need to have the elements of harmony for if we’re to ensure our rule.”
  200.
  201.
  202. “So this is Rarity’s mindscape, huh?” Dash looked around carefully.
  203. >They were in what looked like a dragon’s hoard. The floor was made of gold coins, gems and other treasure. Rarity was at the very center, sleeping on top of a massive throne made entirely of platinum and studded with gems. That throne was almost the size of a house! You’d need a ladder to get up there if you didn’t have wings.
  204. >Around her throne, arranged in a circle, were five smaller, normal sized throne. Three of them were occupied by a sleeping Applejack, Pinkie and Twilight. Two more were empty… Dash realized one of them was waiting for her to take a seat on it… She wondered if sitting there would instantly make her a fancy noblemare like the others.
  205. >But each of the three of them had a large, metal collar around their necks with a chain leading up to Rarity’s throne. There were a massive number of chains leading to Rarity’s throne like that. So many that the walls and ceiling were made entirely of chains and they formed a small, protective nest around the throne.
  206. >Yep. This looked like Rarity’s mindscape right about now.
  207. “There really are a whole lot of them, huh?” Dash looked around at all the green chains.
  208. “Yes,” said Luna. “There must be nearly a hundred thousand ponies under her control by now. We can estimate her as having the power of a thousand ponies plus that of the book. And now it appears Twilight is busy putting ponies under Rarity’s control as well. If this goes on much longer, a direct fight with her will be nearly impossible.”
  209. >She noticed there was one more string, not a chain but a glowing green string, that wrapped around her neck and went up to Rarity’s throne. At the moment it looked like Rarity was holding onto her with a leash.
  210. >It was annoying, but that string was what led them here.
  211. “You can’t just cut this thing?” Dash pointed to her leash. “We’re here so we don’t need it now, right?”
  212. “I’m afraid that would awaken Rarity too soon.” Luna pointed up at the throne. “That is the nexus of the spell and the manifestation of her megalomania. If we can destroy that, everypony will be disconnected from her.”
  213. “And Rarity will turn back to normal?”
  214. “We can hope it will free her from the influence of the book. I imagine that structure was created by the book to control her through a lust for power. But even if it doesn’t, restraining Rarity will become much easier if we can cut her off from this source of immense power.”
  215. >Restraining Rarity? Dash shuttered at the idea. She knew Rarity was going too far, but she was literally attached to her right now. It was hard to have no empathy for her.
  216. “Stealth is of the utmost importance,” Luna warned. “Touch nothing. If Rarity wakes up here she will be a formidable opponent, but I think we can destroy the throne without it coming to that.”
  217. >They were right under the throne now. Dash looked at the sleeping Pinkie. Pinkie was sleeping happily with a smug look on her face.
  218. >It was a little tempting to wake her up and see what happened, but Dash resisted the urge knowing it’d doom the world or something.
  219. >Slowly, Luna’s spell made cracks form in the throne. Light began to emit from the cracks as they grew larger and larger. It took far too long, but eventually they got to the point where there were so many cracks Dash expected it to shatter at any moment.
  220. >Just a little longer…
  221. >But then Rarity began to stir, noticing her throne cracking. She opened her eyes wearily and looked about. Rainbow Dash was the first thing she noticed.
  222. “Rainbow Dash! What are you doing with HER?” Rarity scoffed at Luna. “Don’t you know I’ve declared Celestia and Luna criminals? You’re supposed to be the element of loyalty, so be loyal to your friends and come to my side this instant.”
  223. >Rainbow Dash could feel Rarity’s will permeating the very fabric of existence in this place. It felt like it was simply swallowing up everything else, every other desire. So without even thinking, Dash took a step towards Rarity.
  224. >But she caught herself and stepped back. It took all of her willpower just to resist that. Not being on Rarity’s side felt… scary, lonely, like she was doing something wrong.
  225. “I’m trying to be loyal to you by snapping you out of this!” Dash called out to her. “This isn’t like you at all, Rarity!”
  226. “Being powerful and in charge isn’t like me?” Rarity narrowed her eyes.
  227. >Dash shrank away. She felt Rarity’s displeasure for her and really, really regretted not running to her side earlier.
  228. >There was zero doubt in her mind that if Luna weren’t here she would have begged for forgiveness and submitted to Rarity’s will right then. But Luna was skilled in this sort of magic and shielded Rainbow Dash, holding her wing out protectively. For a moment, Dash felt normal again and stood up.
  229. “Luna.” Rarity glared down at her. “Rainbow Dash is MINE. Give her to me.”
  230. “Rainbow Dash is not yours.” Luna lowered her head and put the spell up to full blast. “Nor is anypony else! You’re already too late. This ends here!”
  231. >The throne underneath Rarity finally cracked all the way through. In a burst of light, pieces of it went flying in every direction.
  232. >When it was gone… the chains were still there! The center of them formed a ball almost as big as the throne had been. Rarity now stood atop that instead.
  233. >Rarity just kept frowning, puffing one cheek out.
  234. “What?” Luna stared up at her in amazement. “How did that not work?! You should be free form the book’s influence now.”
  235. “The book’s influence? Pfft!” Rarity held back her laughter for another second, then gave out a haughty laugh. “Oh, I see what your mistake was now! You though that the book was controlling me, weren’t you? Well you hit the wrong target, I’m afraid.”
  236. “You mean…” Luna backed up. “No!”
  237. “Yes!” Rarity jumped to her feet. “The book was rather impressed by my ambitions. It submitted to my will, deciding going along with my desires worked out just fine for it.”
  238. “You’re saying you were always a power-hungry psycho?!” Dash shouted up at her. “That doesn’t sound like the Rarity I know.”
  239. “I see you still haven’t learned manners yet.” Rarity glared down at her. “But yes. I always felt this way. From the day I was born I knew I was special. I knew I was destined to become the center of the world and have all of Equestria’s treasures laid before my feet. The only thing that changed when I found that book was that now I knew exactly HOW I would fulfill that destiny. I only went along that dead-end path for so long because I believed Celestia would make the rest of us alicorn princesses eventually. I honestly believed I’d get what I deserved. But that isn’t the case, is it?”
  240. >Rarity glared down at Luna, who stayed silent a moment. Dash couldn’t shake the feeling she was missing some vital piece of information here.
  241. “Rarity. Alicornhood is something that must be earned by-“
  242. “Don’t lecture me,” said Rarity. “You have no idea how hard it was to have to watch Celestia having what I deserved. I was humiliated every day knowing that she was more powerful than me. I felt like I was starving and forced to watch Celestia eating a feast. I had to drool over her alicornhood this whole time. And then she makes Twilight a princess but not me? I can’t possibly forgive the two of you for flaunting all these riches before me only to snub me like that.”
  243. “What is it that you want?” Luna asked.
  244. “Well it’s simple.” Rarity strutted on top of her throne and puffed out her chest. “I want the world to be remade in my image with me at the center. I want to be the new heart and soul of the world with everything and everyone else merely revolving around. I want the power to remake reality however I see fit on a whim. I want to own all the wealth and magic in the world with everypony understanding whatever they have is merely borrowed from me. I want every single pony to adore me and love me above all others. I want them to obey my every command, to exist for my convenience and pleasure. And I want to take every single thing from you and your sister, leaving you a pair of lowly, destitute commoners completely at my mercy.”
  245. >Dash and Luna stared at Rarity, stunned.
  246. “Now, if you’re willing to give me all of that perhaps we can negotiate on the rest.” Rarity turned her cheek. “If you help me transition to the new order perhaps I’ll allow you to stay in the castle as my maid instead of kicking you out onto the streets. I am the element of generosity after all.”
  247. >Dash could only stare up at her in disbelief.
  248. “Was she seriously always like this?” Dash asked.
  249. “We cannot say for sure. Perhaps the book has corrupted her to the core or perhaps she really was,” said Luna.
  250. “You can’t even tell?” Rarity scoffed. “Useless as ever. Rainbow Dash! These two idiots have always been useless and now Luna’s failed yet again. The six of us have had to o all of the work. We deserve to rule in their stead and when I’m queen we will all rule together with you as one of my princesses. Luna and Celestia can’t put on their shoes without our help, without my help.”
  251. “Eh.” Dash shrugged and turned to Luna. “She does kind of have a point there.”
  252. >Luna answered only with a glare.
  253. “Kidding.”
  254. “I’m afraid we have no choice but to attack Rarity directly. Retreat is no longer an option.” Luna lowered her head and braced for another attack.
  255. >Luna shot her beam at the pile of chains Rarity was on top of now.
  256. >Rarity didn’t let this slide. Her eyes and horns glowed green, the book clearly still around in some aspect. A green aura appeared around Luna that caused her to tremble and struggle.
  257. >The two mares were locked in deep concentration, Dash having no idea who was winning. She felt like she should do something… but Rarity’s influence was seeping into her now.
  258. >She was beginning to worry. What if Luna was going to kill Rarity? Her best friend! Dash… she felt like she needed to protect Rarity at all costs.
  259. >Then the chains began to crack just like the throne had.
  260. “You see?” Luna spoke through her teeth. “You are no royal. You are but a common unicorn and you will be put in your place. I will win!”
  261. “You think you’re winning?” Rarity gritted back at her. “You don’t even see what my real plan is.”
  262. >Was Rarity winning. Dash bit her lower lip. She sure hoped Rarity had a plan.
  263. “Rainbow Dash!” Rarity called out to her. “You want to be a princess, don’t you? You want to rule the world by my side with me as your queen. You want to be with your friends forever. You want to be loved and adored. Don’t you?”
  264. >Dash… did want all those things. Rarity’s will was starting to spill into her mind again.
  265. “Rainbow Dash! Resist!” Luna called out to her through gritted teeth. “We are winning! Just a few more minutes and the network will be broken! Then we can deal with Rarity.”
  266. >The desire to rush in and help Rarity was so extreme! Dash winced trying to resist it, but all she could think about was Rarity. Rarity needed her help.
  267. >Dash flew forward as fast as she could.
  268. >She needed to….
  269. >She needed to!
  270. >Dash pulled back her hoof as she got closer and…
  271. >She punched Luna hard in the face!
  272. >After that, Dash felt like she was watching a train wreck in slow motion, or some foal fall out of a window as she was helpless to watch.
  273. >Rarity’s face lit up, wild with delight and absolute victory. Luna’s web shattered against her will a second later and all of Rarity’s chains descended on her, tying up the princess.
  274. “Wahahaahaha!” Rarity laughed.
  275. >Luna yelled as the chains clamped down on her, breaking through her mental barrier. This was it… Rarity beat Luna. Rarity’s eyes glowed green and so did Luna’s. A metal collar just like the one Pinkie was wearing clamped down around Luna’s neck, silencing her and a chain appeared that lead to Rarity’s hoof.
  276. >It looked like Rarity was holding her on a leash now.
  277. “It seems her mind is a bit too much for me to override instantly.” Rarity rolled her eyes. “But no matter. I should have a few minutes before she snaps out of this trance. I can just make a few tiny, crucial changes for now.”
  278. >Luna tried to say something but if anything it looked like she was about to pass out.
  279. “Hm! But I guess we know which one of us deserves to be royalty now,” said Rarity. “Defeated by a common unicorn? Failing yet again? How pathetic.”
  280. >Luna passed out. She was laying there limply for now, unable to respond.
  281. “But I really must congratulate you, Rainbow Dash.” Rarity turned back to her. “You remained loyal to your friends! I couldn’t have done it without you.”
  282. “I… I….” Dash was speechless. Right now she didn’t know if she’d done the right thing.
  283. “As a reward I’ll give you another chance to come back into the fold.” Rarity held her hoof, the same one Luna’s leash was wrapped around, out to Dash. “Swear your loyalty to me, Queen Rarity, and help instill me as the new monarch. You know your place is at my side.”
  284. “I…” Dash struggled. She had no idea what to do!
  285. “You can’t really think that pathetic imposter deserves to stay in power.” Rarity gestured to the defeated Luna. “After I’ve trounced her and after they’ve snubbed the both of us. You know, I found something out. They were planning on giving up the crown anyway and having Twilight rule alone, without the rest of us. Isn’t that the most idiotic thing you’ve ever heard?”
  286. “I… maybe you’re right,” Dash admitted. Nothing Rarity said was… wrong exactly. Surely Rarity was at least as qualified to rule as Twilight if not more so. And why shouldn’t Dash be rewarded too? Why shouldn’t she be one of Rarity’s princesses?
  287. >She looked down at Luna, defeated, then Rarity, triumphant. It was clear who the winning side was.
  288. “Go ahead.” Rarity lifted her head and raised a hoof. “Kiss my hoof.”
  289. >Dash took a few trembling steps forward. She really did want to be loyal to Rarity, to be accepted back into the friend group. This was the right thing to do.
  290. >She bowed her head and kissed Rarity’s hoof.
  291. “I… swear my loyalty to you, Queen Rarity.” Dash kept her head bowed. “I’ll… I’ll do whatever I can to help instill you as the new queen.”
  292. >The smile of elation on Rarity’s face felt like reward enough for Dash.
  293. >Dash felt something heavy around her neck. She opened her eyes to see her tiny string had turned into on of those chain leashes.
  294. “There! Now you’re mine!” Rarity gave a tug on the leash. “Just to make sure you don’t do anything silly later. I’ll bet you feel a lot better now that you’re on the winning side, yes?”
  295. “Actually…” Dash blinked. “Yeah! I do feel better.”
  296. >Dash felt as though she’d just snapped out of a mind control effect. She was thinking perfectly clearly for the first time since she got there. All that jittering nervousness in her mind was gone.
  297. >OF COURSE, she should have sided with Rarity. There was no longer any doubt she made the right choice. This was just another one of their adventures. They were going to instill Rarity as the new queen, saving the day yet again.
  298. >Dash needed to remain loyal to her friends. She needed to remain loyal to Rarity.
  299. “Sorry about before,” said Dash. “I should have stayed with your girls from the start. Should I uh… sit on the throne?”
  300. >Dash looked at one of the empty thrones.
  301. “I can’t turn you into a princess like the others just yet,” said Rarity. “I need your help from inside the castle. But remain loyal to me and you will be promoted, I swear.”
  302. “Hey! I have no problem serving you, your majesty.” Dash bowed her head again. “But can’t I be like… your knight or something instead of a princess? It’d be cool if you were in charge, but I dunno about the whole mind control thing.”
  303. “Rainbow Dash!” Rarity scoffed. “The fact that you would even consider such a thing is exactly why I need to fix you!”
  304. >Dash lowered her head, cowed immediately. That really had been a stupid suggestion.
  305. “Sorry, Queen Rarity.”
  306. “I’m not brainwashing anypony.” Rarity put a hoof on her cheek. “I’m merely bringing out the best in them. Pinkie Pie, Twilight and Applejack have all become their very best possible selves. Their flaws are gone and they’ve become royalty. The same awaits you.”
  307. >Dash actually felt… excited! She was going to be her best self? It sounded great!
  308. >Rarity turned her attention back to Luna, just now waking up.
  309. “But for now, I need to take over as much of Luna’s mind as possible before she recovers.”
  310.
  311. >Rarity could feel the emotions of the others in her mindscape now. They were both linked to her.
  312. >Dash was feeling like she’d just narrowly jumped out of the way of an oncoming train. She was deeply relieved to be on Rarity’s side again and felt safe and secure knowing she had Rarity’s approval. Yet she was still shaken a bit from the encounter.
  313. >Those were perfectly acceptable feelings to have. Rarity left her to them.
  314. >Luna, however…
  315. >She had quite the disdain for Rarity. That needed correcting if they were all to live in harmony.
  316. >The moment she regained consciousness, Luna tried to flail about, but her stylish chain kept her from getting too far.
  317. >Luna tried casting a spell. Her chain instead of her horn glowed blue and the magic flowed directly into Rarity. Rarity got her first taste of Luna’s magic, of the magic she’d desired to take for herself for years now.
  318. >Luna realized she was only draining herself and stopped.
  319. “Oh, don’t let me stop you.” Rarity winked. “You’re free to give me every last drop of your magic! I’ll be taking your wings and horn away from you shortly, as well as a whole lot of other things, so you might as well get used to giving.”
  320. “What?! You mean to steal our alicornhood from us?!” Luna was horrified at the idea. “This is the height of blasphemy!”
  321. “Hm.” Rarity tapped her chin, pretending to think hard. “What did you say before? Alicornhood is something you have to EARN? Hm. Well I don’t think you’ve earned it so I’ll have to take it away. You’re just not good enough to be an alicorn. I’m far more deserving of it than you.”
  322. “You dare to lecture me?” Luna asked.
  323. “Oh, isn’t that exactly the same thing the two of you were saying to me this whole time?” Rarity raised an eyebrow. “The only difference is that now I’m the one deciding who deserves wings. I’m your queen and you’re my subject. You really need to get used to obeying my decisions.”
  324. >Rarity gave Luna’s leash a tug, sending the alicorn to the ground. A trickle of blue magic started flowing through the leash to Rarity. At this rate it’d take days to drain her fully, but it was almost inevitable that Luna would end up weak as a kitten. It also meant any spells she cast would permanently give up some of her magic to Rarity.
  325. >Accepting this loss, Luna began to weave together a spell slowly. She was trying to escape, but it would take time and she’d still have the collar on in the real world. Luna was effectively defeated, but still not eliminated as a threat just yet.
  326. >Rarity would need to get her to start thinking of herself as a commoner and a servant if true, permanent victory was to be secured.
  327. >There were a few cracks in Luna’s mind that were open, cracks that Rarity could pour her own will into.
  328. “Rainbow Dash!” Luna called out to her, just now noticing Dash was even there. “You need to stop her! Rarity must be defeated at all costs!”
  329. “Holy Rarity!” Dash shook her head in disappointment. “Stop being such a sore loser! Rarity won and she gets to do whatever she wants with us now. I hate losing and I accepted it. Why can’t you?”
  330. “Do you not understand how dire our situation is?” Luna asked. “She’s going to brainwash both of us completely if you don’t help me out of this!”
  331. “Look, Rarity’s going to be the one calling the shots from now on. It’s really not that big a deal! Just let her take over. It feels good letting her be in charge.” Dash put her hoof on her collar, feeling nice and secure with it on.
  332. >It was good Dash saw her leash as a source of safety. From now on, she’d fight to the death to keep it on like her life depended on it.
  333. >It was cute that Dash was getting protective of Rarity now. Though Rainbow Dash’s emotions and attitudes were more suited for a dog than a future ruler of Equestria. Rarity looked forward to uplifiting her to her best self in due time.
  334.
  335. >Rarity continued to press her will up against the cracks in Luna’s defenses, feeling for any potential foothold. Luna struggled hard against her, Rarity only managing to widen the cracks ever so much.
  336. >But then she felt something that made her smile wide.
  337. “A feeling of inferiority!” Rarity announced.
  338. “N-no!” Fear swept through Luna as she realized how big of an advantage this gave Rarity.
  339. >It made sense that Luna still felt inferior to her sister. It wasn’t like adding the shame of becoming Nightmare Moon would have helped her self esteem. Yes… she had such deep seated feelings of inferiority towards her sister. Rarity could easily work with that.
  340. >She began pulling them out to the forefront, Luna’s regret and shame taking over.
  341. >Luna gritted her teeth, trying hard to resist being overcome.
  342. “There’s no need to be like that,” Rarity cooed. “Don’t you see, dear? You ARE pathetic. What’s causing you all this pain is the fact that you’re trying to deny that. You’re trying to pretend to be something you aren’t… a princess.”
  343. >Luna fell onto her belly like she was falling into a pit of despair. She felt totally dejected, pressed against the ground to try and be as small as possible.
  344. “Don’t you see, Luna?” Rarity stood tall. Now she was the one towering over Luna. “You need to embrace the fact that you’re inferior, pathetic and lowly. Only by accepting that I’m vastly, untouchably superior to you, by becoming subservient to me, can you find happiness.”
  345. >Luna kept her chin on the floor, looking up at Rarity. She really did feel so horribly inferior to Rarity right now.
  346. >Rarity bit her lower lip. This was simply too deliciously good! Finally, after years of putting up with Luna acting all high and might, she got to see Luna looking up at her from her proper place.
  347. >But then Luna ruined that happy moment by resisting some more.
  348. “Nah!” Luna tried getting you. “You- you are but a commoner, Rarity! We are royalty and ancient. We are not inferior to…”
  349. “Hush.” Rarity pushed forward with renewed force. The cracks widened and Luna went back to the ground, feeling totally naked and helpless in her uselessness. “Just relax and embrace it. This is your life now, groveling at my feet. You always belonged here.”
  350. >Rarity was trembling beneath Rarity. Her feeling of inferiority was so great that she was desperate for anything to cling on to, any cloud in this storm. Rarity just had to be that rock for her to cling to.
  351. “You feel how badly I desire your submission, don’t you?” Rarity put her muzzle up against Luna’s pressing hard into her mind. “I want you to be defeated in the most humiliating way. I want you to become pathetic and subservient to me. I want you to accept that you’re a commoner now.”
  352. >Luna struggled to keep those desires from becoming her own, but Rarity pushed them snuggly into Luna’s mind bit by bit. She offered Luna feelings of how comfortable it would be to have Rarity be the queen and Luna her maid. How secure she’d feel in just giving up on all of this and letting Rarity take over.
  353. >Luna desperately lapped up the ideas like a foal sucking on a milk bottle, desperate to escape her pit of despair.
  354. >Rarity paused when she felt a major breakthrough in Luna’s mind. She bit her lip to suppress a laugh when she felt… arousal coming from the princess.
  355. “Wahaha! You’re actually getting off on this, aren’t you?!” Rarity put a hoof over her mouth to hide har mad giggling. It wasn’t nearly enough. “You’re starting to get turned on by the thought of me dominating you, aren’t you? Wahahaha!”
  356. >Luna shamefully tucked her tail between her legs and tried to back up. She got two steps before falling on her rump. She tried to hide it, but Rarity could tell this was making her heart race.
  357. “What?! No!” Luna blushed heavily. “I- I have to get out of here!”
  358. “I haven’t taken over enough of your mind yet!” Rarity smirked and sauntered forward. “I can’t just outright fix you, but I do seem to have this one tiny foothold on you. So why don’t we nurture this new little fetish of yours?”
  359. >Rarity made a gesture to Dash who got it immediately and grabbed Luna from behind. She pulled the soon to be ex-princess back, leaving Luna on her back.
  360. “Can’t you imagine how good it would feel to simply… let me take everything from you? To give up those lovely wings to me?” Rarity boldly stepped forward, putting a hoof on Luna’s chest. “Imagine going from royalty to the pathetic servant of one of your former subjects!”
  361. >Luna bit her lip and squirmed under Rarity. The idea excited her so much!
  362. “N….no!” Luna didn’t make much of an effort to get Rarity off of her. “You… will never be… anything but a commoner. I cannot be….
  363. “And that just makes it better, doesn’t it?” Rarity’s eyes lit up. “Even some random unicorn is above you!”
  364. >Luna was really thinking with her lust more than her head right now. All she could imagine was how incredibly hot it would be to submit.
  365. “Come now!” Rarity turned her head and puffed her hair. “Tell me you wish to be my lowly, pathetic maid. It’ll feel good to get it off your chest.”
  366. “F-f-!” Luna, overcome with desire, tried to move her hoof between her legs, but Rarity motioned for Dash to come over and swat those hooves out of the way, leaving her helpless. “We- I wish to be your maid!”
  367. “Pff-! Wahahahaha!” Rarity let out an enormous laugh! Luna was effectively defeated now, crushed under her hoof where she belonged. “Really? And you claimed to be a princess? YOU?! Why you’re nothing but a perverted commoner overcome by how glorious an actual royal is.”
  368. >Luna was loving this now. Her hind legs were kicking, full of desperation. She tried hard to put her hooves between her legs and start pleasuring herself. But Rarity stopped her once again.
  369. “Look how desperate you are!” Rarity laughed.
  370. “Even I gotta admit this is kind of pathetic.” Dash shook her head. “Rarity comes to take your throne from you and all you do is jerk off to the idea? Pretty obvious who the real royalty here is.”
  371. “Please!” Luna begged. “I- I really will be your maid! Rarity, we wish to serve you! We are inferior! We will do anything you want! You can take all of my treasure and my throne! Please, just let me….”
  372. “Tut tut tut!” Rarity clicked her tongue. “Not without my permission. If you want me to give you permission you’ll have to help me take those pesky wings away from you first.”
  373. “No!” Luna shook her head, a pathetic display of resistance rearing its ugly head. “Such a thing is… unthinkable! We cannot- cannot allow-“
  374. “What?” Rarity pushed all of her weight onto Luna. “You don’t seriously think I should be the smaller of the two of us, do you? You can’t be humble enough if you’re an alicorn twice my size. You like that idea… don’t you?”
  375. >Rarity pushed harder into her mind, sharing her desire to be the alicorn in this relationship.
  376. “I…” Luna quivered. “I do! Rarity… Q-queen Rarity! I’ll help you take anything you want, even that! Just- just please!”
  377. >Rarity smiled. She could feel that painful desire, the same painful desire Rarity had towards the two sisters but in perfect reverse. She knew Luna would do absolutely anything to get relief.
  378. “Go to the caverns beneath Canterlot and I can cast the spell for us,” said Rarity. “I’ll need you to open a portal to let me into the castle first. Then we’ll be one step closer to setting everything right.”
  379. “I… very well. I will allow you into the castle. So I can go now?” Luna kept her head down low. She was still squirming about, antsy and hoping she’d be able to go relieve herself. “M-my queen!”
  380. “Hm?” Rarity turned back to the chains. Her throne reassembled around them and Rarity climbed back up. “Yes, yes. But no touching your leash. Rainbow Dash, I’m tasking you with keeping her in line. Make sure she goes straight to the caverns. I don’t want her having second thoughts.”
  381. “You can count on me, Rarity!” Dash saluted her, then lowered her head and started pushing Luna along. “Come on, you.”
  382. >Rarity smiled as the two left. Just a little longer… later today she’d be able to take the real prize that was Celestia.
