1.
>arrive in Equestria
-
2.
>you are met with hostility at first but eventually are able to prove that you aren't a threat
-
3.
>you are allowed to live on the outskirts of town next to the Everfree Forest
-
4.
>your construction skills aren't very good, only able to build a tiny shack with a leaky roof
-
5.
>you are allowed to go into town to buy stuff but everypony avoids you like the plague
-
6.
>Zecora tasks you with gathering rare herbs in exchange for bits
-
7.
>she's cold and barely pays you anything but it's all you have
-
8.
>you eventually go and find your waifu
-
9.
>she's disgusted by you and asks you to never visit her again
-
10.
>as you try and cope with this devastation over the months you realize you don't want to do this anymore
-
11.
>one day when sent to find a particularly poisonous plant you come across a gray pony
-
12.
>she's sitting in an opening by herself with tears flowing as she baws
-
13.
>she notices you and is scared at first but you introduce yourself
-
14.
>obviously she's heard of the weird creature that lives outside of Ponyville
-
15.
>she makes an attempt to stop crying but still has the sniffles
-
16.
>you ask her what's wrong and she explains that the love of her life, Big Mac, just married another mare in town
-
17.
>you tell her you're sorry and go on to explain what happened with your waifu
-
18.
>you both sit there in silence for a while
-
19.
>an understanding between the two of you has brought some calmness to you both
-
20.
>you both decide to meet up again at the same spot tomorrow
-
21.
>you forgot to find the plant Zecora asked for, but you don't care anymore
-
22.
-
23.
>you wake up early and make sure to get Zecora's order complete, she was pretty pissed off from yesterday
-
24.
>today you need to find her a black iris, which is pretty rare. Long day ahead
-
25.
>but for once, you actually have something to look forward to
-
26.
>your new acquaintance, Marble Pie, is already at the spot waiting with a lunch basket
-
27.
>you manage to actually smile, the first time since you can remember coming here
-
28.
>you exchange a brief welcome with her and she offers you a veggie sandwich with some lemonade, which you happily accept
-
29.
>although a veggie sandwich isn't exactly your idea of fine cuisine the pickings have been slim since arriving in Equestria
-
30.
>the sandwich is actually delicious and you let her know
-
31.
>she feigns a smile and thanks you, but deep down she's in pain
-
32.
>you both sit there for a while occasionally breaking the silence to comment on a tree or the sky
-
33.
>it's getting dark and you both decide to head back
-
34.
>you are getting used to her company and would like to see her again, she agrees to meet up tomorrow
-
35.
>when you go back home, you lay on your hay sleeping mat and sigh
-
36.
>you think about Marble Pie and the last two days you spent with her
-
37.
>all of a sudden you blush and realize you are starting to catch feelings for her
-
38.
>which is conflicting because you still love your waifu even after all the terrible things she said
-
39.
>but part of you knows that you need to move on somehow
-
40.
>as your mind races around with all different types of possibilities you eventually fall asleep
-
41.
-
42.
>over the next several weeks you meet with Marble Pie everyday at the same spot at the same time
-
43.
>you both mostly sit there without saying much, but you can feel that being with her puts you at ease
-
44.
>one morning you luck out and find a bunch of red orchids, the ones Zecora had requested
-
45.
>now that you are done work early you still have time before you need to meet with Marble
-
46.
>an idea pops in that monkey brain of yours
-
47.
>you make your way to Ponyville, bits in hand
-
48.
>you head over to Rarity's shop (to her dismay) and inquire about buying a scarf
-
49.
>she laughs you out of there when you tell her your budget
-
50.
>alright, plan b. You make your way to the general store
-
51.
>as you browse the assortment of wares nothing really stands out
-
52.
>the owner eyeing you up the entire time, but still too wary to ask you what you're looking for
-
53.
>a small blue bow clip catches your eye and you bring it up to the register
-
54.
>it's not expensive but you will need to ration your food some more over the next several weeks
-
55.
>with the bow in hand and a small smile creeping on your face you head to the meeting spot
-
56.
>once again Marble is waiting for you
-
57.
>she attempts to smile when you greet her
-
58.
>you tell her about what plant you had to find earlier, she listens and nods
-
59.
>after a little while you both go back to what you do best, sitting there quietly
-
60.
>you still have the bow in your pocket
-
61.
>you meant to give it to her at the start but you didn't have the courage
-
62.
>yup, you pull the cowardly move and wait until the last minute
-
63.
>it's getting dark and Marble mentions that she should head home
-
64.
>before she can leave you tell her you have a gift for her
-
65.
>she's a little confused but stands there patiently
-
66.
>you pull out the blue bow clip and hand it to her
-
67.
>you ask her if you could be the one to help her get over Big Mac
-
68.
>she tears up and tells you that she doesn't like you like that
-
69.
>as you sit there devastated she thanks you for the gift and trots off hurriedly
-
70.
>you don't cry
-
71.
>well you have tears but you aren't crying
-
72.
>you walk back home with your head down
-
73.
>as you lay on your mat looking up at your ceiling you realize how dumb you are for asking her out
-
74.
>everypony is repulsed by you but she actually tolerates your company. But to think she would actually like you in a romantic way is crazy
-
75.
>as tears flow down your cheeks you can't help but laugh
-
76.
-
77.
>the next morning you feel embarrassed the entire day while searching for some joke plants
-
78.
>at least no one is here to see your shame
-
79.
>eventually you find what you need and head home
-
80.
>but something compels you to check the spot where you've been meeting Marble
-
81.
>after yesterday you aren't sure what to expect and don't think you have the balls to face her
-
82.
>with an audible gulp you pull up your pants and make your way
-
83.
>as you approach the opening you see Marble sitting at her usual spot
-
84.
>you immediately notice she's wearing the blue bow you gave her
-
85.
>no turning back now
-
86.
>you walk over to her and blush as you akwardly greet her
-
87.
>she actually has a genuine smile and thanks you again for the bow
-
88.
>she doesn't mention anything about yesterday and instead tells you about her day on the rock farm
-
89.
>mostly uneventful as usual
-
90.
>after the conversation frizzles off both of you sit there in comfortable silence
-
91.
>you still have feelings for her but ultimately you still love your waifu
-
92.
>who you can never have
-
93.
>as your brooding thoughts take over, Marble interrupts you to say goodbye
-
94.
>it's gotten dark out before you even knew it
-
95.
>you and Marble spend the next weeks doing the same thing
-
96.
>except one day she asks you a strange question
-
97.
>"What if we stopped existing"
-
98.
>you are taken aback by the question and sat there for a moment to think
-
99.
>you say you don't know but it doesn't sound all that bad
-
100.
>she nods and thinks over your response
-
101.
>"Anon, I know where there is a beautiful view overlooking a lake. It's high up and you can see everything, even Ponyville. Would you go there with me?"
-
102.
>you pause and wonder if you can ask Zecora for a day off. Actually you don't care what Zecora thinks. This is the most interesting thing in your life right now
-
103.
>you tell her you would like nothing more than to accompany her
-
104.
>she hugs you out of nowhere
-
105.
>"T-thank you"
-
106.
>wow, she feels so warm and soft. You can spend the rest of your life in this position and be okay
-
107.
>she eventually lets go and says her goodbye for the evening
-
108.
-
109.
>the next day comes and you hop out of bed and freshen up
-
110.
>no running water but you manage
-
111.
>you stop by Zecora's hut and tell her you are taking the day off
-
112.
>she wasn't happy but didn't seem all that bothered either
-
113.
>she gave you one of her daily warnings but you've gotten pretty used to them by now
-
114.
>"I see you have your eye on Marble Pie. But you should stay away instead, or the consequences you will come to dread"
-
115.
>dealing with Zecora was easier than expected, with a smile on your face you head to the meeting spot
-
116.
>Marble isn't here yet, you take a seat on your favorite rock
-
117.
>fairly flat and smooth, it's been almost like a comforting friend over the months
-
118.
>an hour or two goes by and you start to get nervous
-
119.
>your mind races over the possibilities: maybe she had second thoughts? Did something bad happen to her? No no, she's probably just helping at the rock farm or something
-
120.
>as you are panicking you see her in front of you all of a sudden
-
121.
>"Anon, are you okay?"
-
122.
"Y-yeah! I was just uh..day dreaming"
-
123.
>"Oh, okay. I'm surprised to see you here this early"
-
124.
>Oh. OH. You forgot to tell Marble you were taking the day off from work
-
125.
"I took the day off from work, since we are going somewhere new"
-
126.
>"Oh, well I'm glad you're early. We can start heading there now"
-
127.
>you notice that Marble is in a great mood today for some reason. Which is fairly extraordinary, but you decide not to pry. Why question a good thing?
-
128.
>as you walk alongside Marble your mind begins to start working overtime again
-
129.
>what if she's starting to like me? Maybe I still have a chance with her…
-
130.
>as you make your way out of the clearing you start to ascend a trail leading up
-
131.
>an hour passes and you notice you aren't in the Everfree anymore
-
132.
>the dark and gloomy now in the rearview, a more sparse and rocky trail ahead
-
133.
>the sun beams down and Marble looks happy
-
134.
>you're happy
-
135.
>you begin to notice how high you are, you can already start to make out mountains in the distance
-
136.
>it's early afternoon and you both decide to stop for a break
-
137.
>there are some fallen tree branches near a pond and decide to sit there
-
138.
>"Anon, thanks for coming with me. You are the only one I can count on for this. You understand me."
-
139.
"Sure thing, I'm really enjoying it out here."
-
140.
>you blush a little bit as you try to keep your cool
-
141.
>"I know I've already asked a lot from you. I don't think I could do this alone. Did you think anymore about my question from before?"
-
142.
>crap, you aren't sure what she's talking about
-
143.
>as you sit there looking baffled she interrupts your thoughts
-
144.
>"About…not existing…"
-
145.
"Oh, not really. Why?"
-
146.
>frogs croak nearby as she looks down
-
147.
>her positive attitude from earlier vanished in a second
-
148.
>"I think about it a lot...that's why I wanted you here with me because I thought you understood"
-
149.
-
150.
>you aren't sure what to say, so you say nothing
-
151.
>normally the silence you share together is that of calmness, not uneasiness
-
152.
>eventually you find your words
-
153.
"I know you still mourn what could have been with Big Mac. I feel the same way, you know that. But I also know I can't dwell on her forever. I'm hurting but being with you has shown me maybe there is something nice in this world after all"
-
154.
>a small smile cracks on her face
-
155.
>"You are too sweet Anon….maybe if I met you earlier in time, things would be different"
-
156.
>Marble scoots next to you and rests her head against you
-
157.
>without being too awkward you wrap your arm around her
-
158.
>she feels amazing, if only this moment could last
-
159.
>"Anon…we need to continue on the trail. I want to show you the summit"
-
160.
>you nod but wait for her to get up first, there was no way you were taking your arm off her otherwise
-
161.
>with your emotions running wild you walk the path with her not uttering a word
-
162.
>Marble looks peaceful as she takes in the view as you make your way to the top
-
163.
>you walk close to the edge and take in the massive scene before you
-
164.
>snowy mountain ranges in the far distance, and as promised you can see Ponyville not too far off
-
165.
>you take a moment to wonder if anything interesting is going on, you always wanted to be apart of their town
-
166.
>but you weren't allowed to fit in
-
167.
>and the love of your life telling you that she hates you
-
168.
>yeah, fuck this place
-
169.
>Marble Pie notices you aren't looking very happy
-
170.
>she nuzzles into your stomach
-
171.
>"Anon, I know you are hurting. Like me. Look down below"
-
172.
>as you enjoy the sensation of her cute snout, you look down in front and see a glistening lake
-
173.
"It's beautiful"
-
174.
>she pulls away and nods at you
-
175.
>"That's where I am going…"
-
176.
>you look confused for a moment. Why would she want to go swimming now? Not to mention it would take hours to climb down
-
177.
>wait, does she mean…?
-
178.
"Marble! Please don't tell me what I'm thinking…"
-
179.
>she looks down and nods slowly
-
180.
>hot tears start flowing down your cheeks
-
181.
"N-no…"
-
182.
"No!"
-
183.
>she looks at you with a sad smile. A smile that has already accepted her fate
-
184.
>she walks up and hugs you
-
185.
>words barely coming out as your tears start to fall on her
-
186.
"Please…there has to be another way. We could run away together and start our own little farm…we could even raise foals together…we could..we could…"
-
187.
>she hugs you tighter. You feel something wet and notice she's crying
-
188.
>between sniffles she mutters to you
-
189.
>"I have to go Anon, I'm sorry. Please remember me as your love"
-
190.
>Marble looks up at you and kisses you on the lips
-
191.
>your eyes go wide for a moment and then you close them as you kiss her back
-
192.
>her tongue swirls around slowly but passionately
-
193.
>her breath warm and comforting
-
194.
>your mind melts in pleasure and the feeling of being loved
-
195.
>after what feels like an eternity, she breaks away
-
196.
>tears in her eyes as she smiles at you
-
197.
>she approaches the ledge
-
198.
"Wait Marble!"
-
199.
>she looks back at you, straining to meet your eyes
-
200.
"I'm going with you, my love"
-
201.
-
