  4. >Day 4 in Equestria
  5. >The time: 07:30 AM
  6. >You feel a familiar vibration deep within you
  7. >Open your eyes
  8. >Lights and numbers flicker to life and dance before them
  9. >Stare at the ceiling while facts and figures fly around your head
  10. >Once it stops you sigh
  11. >Get up and walk over to the window
  12. >Look out across the land you now call home
  13. >March downstairs and past the kitchen you never use
  14. >All you really need is a bed
  15. >Open the door and walk out into the sun
  16. >Scan the area for any problems
  17. >Satisfied that everything is normal, you set out towards the Library in the middle of town.
  18. >You pass a sign on the way into town and stop to study it
  19. >"Free hugs, humans only -->"
  20. >Raise an eye brow and look towards where the sign is pointing
  21. >A pegasus with a fake beard on is gleaming at you at a hastily made stand
  22. >She waves and points to another sign above her head
  23. >"Humans with names beginning with 'A' get one extra free!"
  24. >She jumps her eyebrows up and down suggestively and grins at you
  25. >Walk over to her
  26. >Hear her giggle and say to herself "Oh I can't believe it worked!"
  27. >Stop infront of the stand and stare down at her
  28. >She clears her throat and speaks with a deep voice
  29. >"So uhh. You came for a hug, huh, chump?"
  30. Fluttershy what are you doing.
  31. >"Uhhh. Yous better be ready for the hug of a lifetime, chump"
  32. >She unfurls her wings and hovers over to you with her forelegs outstretched
  33. I never agreed to this, Fluttershy
  34. >She gets closer, her eyes lit up with anticipation
  35. You know what will happen, right?
  36. >She grasps your chest and buries her face in it
  37. >Her deep voice abandoned she moans into your chest
  38. >"Oooh Anon~. You're so hard and cold..."
  39. >She rubs her face in harder
  40. >The numbers and figures are trying to make sense of this situation
  41. >The human side of your brain has already figured it out, but the computer side is trying to figure it out.
  42. >Deciding to follow the "human" solution, you tear off Fluttershy and grip her fur in your hand
  43. >Draw your arm back
  44. >The numbers are going haywire with the new input
  45. >You narrow your eyes and lock onto a far away tree
  46. >Everything's good to go.
  47. >Launch.
  48. >You hurl her towards the tree and watch with a smile as she slams into it
  49. >Turn and walk away to the sounds of distant frustrated screaming
  50. >Walking into Ponyville you look at as much as possible
  51. >The computer is constantly hungry for information, and this world is a goldmine of alien culture and society
  52. >You sometimes find yourself just turning in a circle in the middle of town taking it all in until the computer is satisfied
  53. >Arrive at the library and knock three times
  54. >The dragon hatchling opens the door
  55. >You take a moment to retrieve the necessary info
  56. >Well, when you say a "moment" you mean about 40 nanoseconds
  57. Spike! Is Twilight in?
  58. >He rubs his eyes and yawns
  59. >"Yeah, she is. Here for the daily grind or something?"
  60. >Chuckle
  61. Yeah. I owe her that much. She set me up with my house, so I talk to her in return
  62. >"Seems like a scam. I wish I could get a house for existing. I mean, I'm a dragon! Sure, you're a human and all... But you're not much to look at. No offense"
  63. >Smile warmly at him
  64. Appearances can be decieving, Spike. There's more to me than meets to eye.
  65. >He goes to fetch Twilight and you step through the door after him
  66. >"Twilight! Anon's here!"
  67. >Hear a loud crash and frantic gibberish come from Twilight's room
  68. >The door gets thrown open and a frenzied looking Unicorn steps out
  69. >"Anon! I wasn't expecting you so soon. Have any trouble getting here?"
  70. Fluttershy tried to hug me.
  71. >"Aww, that's so sweet!"
  72. I threw her at a tree
  73. >"...Oh..."
  74. >She frowns at you
  75. >"Ya' know she's only trying to be friendly, right?"
  76. The first day I was here she tried to drug me.
  77. >"It was a misunderstanding, I'm sure."
  78. >Not that you really cared. Your body doesn't allow the influence of any sort of drugs. So whatever substance she gave you was processed and used as fuel for the rest of your body.
  79. Well it's very annoying. I've told her to leave me alone but she doesn't get the message.
  80. >She cocks her head and looks at you
  81. >"Odd..."
  82. What?
  83. >"I've never noticed before, but you speak in a very... Monotone voice."
  84. >Huh. That's new.
  85. Are you sure?
  86. >"Yeah. Just then. You asked me a question, but your voice is so... Emotionless."
  87. >You're not liking these pauses at the end of her sentences
  88. Is it a problem?
  89. >"N-no, not at all. I'll look into it when I study your body"
  90. You're not studying my body, Twilight.
  91. >"Why not?! I need to know everything about your species, Anon! You're the only one of your kind on this planet!"
  92. >And what a specimen you are
  93. I can't allow you to just prod my body. You might hurt yourself
  94. >"Oh please, what's the worse that could happen?"
  95. Electrocution.
  96. >"I- WHAT?"
  97. You heard me.
  98. >You both stand there in silence for a while
  99. >Spike walks past
  100. >"He's getting weirder by the day, Twilight."
  101. >"SPIKE! That was so rude! Apologise to Anon. He's just... Different."
  102. >Spike sighs
  103. >"Sorry, Anon."
  104. You don't need to apologise, Spike. I am quite weird.
  105. >He laughs and walks into the kitchen in search of food
  106. >Twilight looks back at you
  107. >"Give yourself a little bit more credit, Anon. You're not weird by your species' standards... Are you?"
  108. >Grin at her
  109. You have no idea.
  110. >Once you finish up with talking to Twilight and stopping her attempts to study you, you head on home
  111. >Not sure what you're going to do.
  112. >A guy like you can't do much for "fun" anymore.
  113. >All you really do is sit in your living room and think about the days events
  114. >Analysing them and deconstructing them
  115. >Sigh
  116. >It gets quite bothersome at times. You feel yourself becoming less human as the days go by in this world
  117. >So much information to process
  118. >So little time to enjoy yourself
  119. >You get home and open the door, only to have a bucket slammed over your head
  120. >The computer thinks you're under assault
  121. >You know you're under Fluttershy
  122. Why are you in my house?
  123. >"B-becuase I'm sick of being turned away all the time!"
  124. I've been here for four days, Fluttershy. FOUR. DAYS.
  125. >"And I love you! Why can't you see that?"
  126. >The computer flashes a big red "ERROR" in the corner of your vision at the word love
  127. >Roll your eyes and dismiss it. The computer can be so cliche at times.
  128. >"Well no more, mister. I'm going to get you to love me!"
  129. >You're still under the bucket so you can't see what she's doing
  130. >Infact you've just been stood there not bothering to remove it
  131. >The computer has become facsinated by the craftsmanship of the bucket and is analysing everything from shape to molecule density
  132. >One it's done it gives you the all clear
  133. >Tear off the bucket and glare down at Fluttershy
  134. I've tried to be nice, Fluttershy. But you're trying my patience.
  135. >"I think y-you just need to realise how much I love you"
  136. I don't understand the concept of love.
  137. >"The concept?"
  138. The concept.
  139. >"The concept of love?"
  140. >Sigh
  141. >Fucking memories.
  142. Look. Just get the hell out of my house.
  143. >"No."
  144. >She stands her ground and looks defiantly at you
  145. Alright, suit yourself
  146. >That shocked her
  147. >"R-really?"
  148. Sure. Don't expect much though
  149. >Walk into the living room and sit down on the sofa
  150. >Fluttershy sits next to you, giggling to herself
  151. >You look at her and perform a quick scan
  152. >Her heartbeat is increasing rapidly
  153. >That would be adorable, if you knew what the word meant.
  154. >Turn back to the wall and stare at it
  155. >Zone out and begin going over what happened today in silence
  156. >The numbers and figures return in full force
  157. >Fluttershy sits next to you, staring at the side of your face
  158. >Hours pass
  159. >The computer gives you the all clear and you look next to Fluttershy who hasn't moved at all
  160. How long have you been there?
  161. >"I don't know. But all that matters is that I'm with you!"
  162. >Give me a break.
  163. >The computer tells you that 8 hours and 32 minutes have passed since the data-scan began
  164. >Pick up Fluttershy by the fur on the back of her neck, like you would with a cat and drag her kicking and screaming to the door
  165. >"WHY CAN'T WE BE TOGETHER?!"
  166. >Slam the door and walk upstairs
  167. >Lie on your bed
  168. >Close your eyes and everything goes silent
  169.
  170. >The familiar vibration begins
  171. >Open your eyes
  172. >Day 5 in Equestria
  173. >7:30 AM
  174. >Get out of bed and walk outside
  175. >Hear shouting in the distance
  176. >Look towards the source of the noise
  177. >Narrow your eyes at it
  178. >Zooming in, you see two Stallions arguing
  179. >The computer tells you to dismiss it
  180. >You know better.
  181. >Sprint towards them both
  182. >"I don't give a SHIT what you think, Faint Glow, it was MY property!"
  183. >"Go fuck yourself, Strawberry Hue. It's just as much my land as it is yours"
  184. What's the problem here
  185. >They both appear shocked by your sudden arrival
  186. >Faint Glow growls
  187. >"Back off, Monkey. This is our own business"
  188. Sounds like a matter of property. Perhaps I can help?
  189. >"Yeah whatever. You'll just mess things up"
  190. I doubt it.
  191. >"Yeah well I don't. Filthy Monkey coming into our town and stinking up the place. We don't need you around here so just get out!"
  192. >His words don't bother you
  193. >But his increased heartrate and tensed muscles do
  194. >You don't want this to end in violence, or to provoke a fight, but you want to see this situation resolved
  195. Look. I don't want any trouble. I just wanted to help.
  196. >He's not stopping
  197. >"I mean, what's next? Are you going to take our mares as well? You've already stolen a house. How do I know you're not trying to take my land as well?"
  198. >Now the other Stallion, Strawberry Hue looks like he's getting riled up as well
  199. >"Yeah! Yeah! You stay away from our mares. And our foals! Dirty Monkey"
  200. >The situation is out of hand now. The computer is spamming you with escape routes and safety procedures.
  201. >Take a step back to try and give them some room
  202. >They both take a step forward
  203. >You're detecting increased body temperature, heartrates, tensed muscles, and their facial expressions match that of anger
  204. >Yeah, thanks, computer. I can see that they're angry.
  205. >"You know what I reckon? I reckon we should take this guy down! Make him learn his place, right Strawberry Hue?"
  206. >"I couldn't agree more, Faint Glow."
  207. Don't do this
  208. >Faint Glow laughs
  209. >"Oh this is happening. Prepare for a world of pain, you damn dirty ape"
  210. >The both lunge at you
  211. >Time slows down as the computer begins Combat Protocol #3 - Group Combat
  212. >Faint Glow (FG) is the closest to you, and therefore the largest threat, incapacitating him first is your highest priority
  213. >By the time you take him down, Strawberry Hue (SH) will have entered an appropriate position to attack you, and will attempt to harm you
  214. >Using FG's body as a shield, you can block SH's attack and cause more harm to FG.
  215. >This will make FG struggle, and try to fight back in your grasp, you must relinquish your hold on him and throw him in order to prevent any possible damage
  216. >Once FG is dealt with, SH will need to be taken down non-lethally, a light punch to the muzzles should stun him but not break anything important
  217. >When stunned, you can sweep his legs and render him immobile, then punch him in the forehead hard enough to cause extreme trauma to the brain and knock him unconcious
  218. >FG will have recovered by then and will probably be charging you again - Stop those efforts by sidestepping and kicking him in the ribs
  219. >Chances of breaking ribs are high, but they shouldn't pierce any vital organs when broken. However, immediate medical assistance will be required.
  220. >Plan forumlated in 0.2 seconds
  221. >Commencing execution
  222. >The computer gives you the all clear and you burst into action
  223. >Faint Glow tries to tackle you
  224. >His body slams into yours, but being heavier and with harder bones, it's like he tackled a solid wall
  225. >He cries out in pain from the impact and you grip him with two hands
  226. >As expected, Strawberry Hue tries to buck you with his rear legs
  227. >You place Faint Glow in the path of the kick and he screams as you hear a rib crack from the kick
  228. >You toss him aside and focus on Strawberry Hue
  229. >A jab to the muzzle causes him to step back and swear
  230. >He stumbles around, disorientated
  231. >You crouch and sweep all four of his legs
  232. >Once down you pounce on top of him and deliver a solid punch to his head
  233. >He goes limp, but you still detect a heartbeat
  234. >You turn your attention to Faint Glow who is struggling to get up
  235. >He glares up at you, clutching his rib
  236. >"You son of a b-bitch..."
  237. >You punch him in the forehead before he can even blink and render him unconcious
  238. >The computer gives you some feedback
  239. >Hostiles Neutralised - Total time: 6.00 seconds.
  240. >You sling the two ponies over your shoulder and sprint to the hospital, leaving them under the care of a very confused doctor
  241. >Walking back into Ponyville you are stopped by a blue Pegasus
  242. >Ah. Rainbow Dash
  243. >"THAT. WAS. AWESOME!"
  244. >Grimace
  245. I did what I had to. I'm glad they aren't dead.
  246. >"Ha! Oh wow, Anon. That was so cool! You moved even faster than me! Are all humans as fast as that? When he tackled you it looks like it hurt him more than you!"
  247. Were you watching that whole time?
  248. >"I was sleepin' on a cloud above you guys when the shouting woke me up"
  249. And you didn't think to help?
  250. >"Oh you had everything under control, not like I would have made a difference"
  251. >She starts poorly reenacting your fighting style
  252. >"And then you were all HEEYAH! And punched him and it was AWESOME!"
  253. Uh huh. Well I'd better be going.
  254. >Walking towards Twilight's Library you stop for a second and look at your hands
  255. >You could have avoided that. You barely even punched that pony and you knocked him out
  256. >You dread to think what could have happened if you'd have punched him full force
  257. >Images of shallow graves and grieving ponies fill you mind, much to the confusion of the computer
  258. Should have just walked away...
  259. >"From what?"
  260. >Turn and see Pinkie Pie smiling at you
  261. >"What's up, Anon?"
  262. Have you ever started something in good will but only made things worse in the end?
  263. >"Sure I have! But it's all about what YOU think! As long as you know that you were in the right and only acted badly because you had to, it's ok!"
  264. >"It's better than acting badly for the sake of doing it! I'm sure that whatever you did was an accident!"
  265. I put two ponies in hospital without any effort at all
  266. >"Well ok then!"
  267. >She gasps
  268. >"I GOTTA GO SEND THEM GET WELL SOON CARDS! GOTTA GO BYE"
  269. >And she's gone
  270. >Knock on the door of the library
  271. >Twilight opens it
  272. >"Hey there, Anon! You're usually earlier. Come on in!"
  273. >Follow her in
  274. >"Today... Uhh, I was hoping we could go into my basement! Bit more privacy, you know? And Spike is away doing errands so it'll be just us!"
  275. >Frown at her
  276. >Might as well play along
  277. Sure.
  278. >"Great!"
  279. >She trots down into the barely lit basement
  280. >You follow her, your eyes adjusting the levels of light and making everything seem brighter
  281. >Might as well be daylight down here now
  282. >Satisfied with your vision, you follow her to the bottom of the steps
  283. >She smiles at you and nods her head to a table
  284. You're not studying me.
  285. >"You don't have a choice."
  286. >You detect rising energy levels and your systems begin going crazy at the influence of an outside force
  287. >Your body is lifted off the floor and placed onto the table
  288. >Weight must be a factor, Twilight is straining herself doing this
  289. >Beads of sweat are dripping from her brow and a vein is popping out of her neck
  290. >You lie on the table and sigh
  291. Twilight. Come on. You can't keep me like this.
  292. >"D-don't worry, Anon. I just need to see what makes you tick..."
  293. >She jabs a needle into your arm
  294. >You feel the end break inside
  295. >Roll your eyes
  296. No Twilight, I mean it. You literally can't keep me contained. I'm leaving now.
  297. >"NO! I NEED TO STUDY YOU!"
  298. >She pushes herself to the limit to keep you down
  299. >You decide to let her think she's won and give yourself up
  300. >She smiles
  301. >"Now, the drug will take hold of you and when you wake up, I'll be done!"
  302. >The drug was identified the moment it was injected.
  303. >A potent kind of anesthetic/poison that dulls senses to the point of near death, if an antidote is administered within 2 hours, the patient will make a full recovery
  304. >Not that you care. The drug has no effect on one such as you. It was already processed and allocated to your internal reactor core.
  305. >Maybe it's time the Ponies knew your secret
  306. >Chances are it'll scare them and make them want to study you more, but it's not like they can take you down
  307. >It took a Magical Pridogy all her might to merely lift you
  308. >You shut your eyes and your body goes "limp" to give the impression that you're asleep
  309. >You hear Twilight mutter to herself
  310. >"I'm sorry, Anon. But I have to know..."
  311. >You feel your clothes get torn away and a cold scalpel is pressed against your skin
  312. >Here we go
  313. >You feel it push through and scrape against the metal caraprace beneath it
  314. >Twilight gasps
  315. >"Solid bone? But I thought they had ribs in this place"
  316. >She starts to peel away the skin to make a small hole
  317. >The computer is going ballistic and reporting heavy damage to the outer layers
  318. >You silence it and let Twilgiht work
  319. >"This... This is metal."
  320. >A couple of minutes of scraping and peeling pass
  321. >"Are those... Lights?! Is that Electricity powering them?"
  322. >She prods one and a small amount of static flows up the scalpel, causing her to yelp and drop it
  323. >"Of course... I'll get electrocuted. Very funny, Anon."
  324. >You hear the door to the basement get slammed open
  325. >"WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO MY ANON?!"
  326. >"F-fluttershy! Come and see this!"
  327. >"I SEE IT! YOU'RE EXPERIMENTING ON MY DARLING ANON AND... and..."
  328. >Silence
  329. >"Twilight? What have you done to him?"
  330. >"I haven't done anything! I just found this! Fluttershy, Anon isn't a biological being!"
  331. >"Y-you're lying. You've desecrated his beautiful body for your sick scientific fetish! He's MINE! YOU HAD NO RIGHT!"
  332. >"Fluttershy, calm down!"
  333. >"I won't let you hurt him anymore! He's my Anon. I love him! I'm taking him home!"
  334. >"Fluttershy, please"
  335. >"DON'T TOUCH ME!"
  336. >You hear a struggle and prepare to intervene
  337. >"Flutter...shy, PLEASE! P-put down the scalpel!"
  338. >"You'll just hurt him again! I can't allow it!"
  339. >You hear Fluttershy roar and Twilight scream
  340. >Go.
  341. >Your eyes snap open and you launch yourself off the table
  342. >Fluttershy has Twiligh pinned on the floor and is applying pressure to her horn, making her unable to use magic
  343. >With her other hoof she's trying to push a scalpel into her face
  344. >You point your right arm at her
  345. >Targetting calibrations and weapons systems come online
  346. >Your hand and forearm begin rearranging themselves, giving way to a long barrel adorned with various lights and vents
  347. >The end begins rotating rapidly and you feel it warm up to a near superheated level
  348. >The computer flashes a single message to you
  349. >ARMED.
  350. >You chuckle at the pun
  351. >You point above Fluttershy's head and fire
  352. >The arm-cannon fires a neon blue beam and obliterates a small portion of the wall, leaving a small fire and glowing embers in the crater the impact left
  353. >Both ponies freeze and look stare at you
  354. >What they see is a fully awake and undrugged human with a large portion of skin missing from his chest, revealing a vast array of complicated circuits and lights
  355. >His arm is also replaced with a piece of technology unheard of by pony-kind, the end of it glows orange with steam hissing from various holes around it
  356. >You lower your arm
  357. Now. I think I owe you both and explaination.
  358. >Twilight shrugs a stunned Fluttershy off her
  359. >"Anon, what ARE you?"
  360. I am a human.
  361. >"Are all humans like this?"
  362. >She motions towards your chest
  363. >You look down and see the hole
  364. >You tell your brain to intiate repairs and nanomachines from deep inside your body come to the surface and start repairing the skin, leaving it smooth over the previous hole
  365. No. They aren't.
  366. >"Then... What is all this?"
  367. I am a Cyborg. One of many created by my species for the purpose of war.
  368. >"War?"
  369. When I told you about Earth, I was telling you about it before the war.
  370. Our species has always been amazing at developing more and more amazing technology for the purposes of killing each other, and I am the next step.
  371. I am about 65% machine, with the rest being the real me.
  372. >"What can you do?"
  373. I can perform complex equations in nanonseconds, I am faster, stronger and more intelligent than other humans, I don't need to eat, I can run for a week without stopping and I can fly.
  374. >"You can fly"
  375. Yes.
  376. >Twilight sits down and breathes out heavily
  377. >"Wow... I never imagined it."
  378. >Fluttershy speaks up
  379. >"S-so you're not even... Natural?"
  380. >She tears up
  381. >"You c-can't l-love?"
  382. Not really, no.
  383. >Fluttershy bursts into tears and flies out the room
  384. >Twilight watches her go
  385. >"She's so weird."
  386. Yup.
  387. >"Sorry about holding you down against your will"
  388. You never really had me under your control. Everything you did, I let you do.
  389. >She huffs at that
  390. >"So you could have helped sooner when Fluttershy was trying to cut me?"
  391. Yeah.
  392. >"You're an ass."
  393. >Let out a short laugh
  394. >You and Twilight head up to the library and sit down
  395. >"Sooo what now?"
  396. What do you mean?
  397. >"Well. Errr. You're not exactly normal. Even by our standards. Are you safe enough to keep around?"
  398. Well this morning I put two ponies in hospital
  399. >"Ah"
  400. Yeah.
  401. >Awkward silence
  402. >"Do you... Wanna... I dunno. Read?"
  403. I'd like that.
  404. >You begin reading whatever you can get your hands on, feeding your brain information and annoying Twilight with how fast you can read
  405. >Once nightfall comes you decide to head back home
  406. >"Today was uhh. Interesting, Anon"
  407. You needed to know sooner or later. Hell, the whole town did.
  408. >"I suppose so. Though I don't know how they'll react to the alien living on the hill also being a highly advanced super soldier created only for war."
  409. They'll get over it
  410. >"Probably. They got over the Dragon attack pretty fast."
  411. >You smile at each other
  412. >"Well, goodbye, Anon."
  413. Bye.
  414. >She shuts the door and you turn to head home
  415. >Guess this means you have to start over now. Just when ponies were starting to get used to you, as well.
  416. >At least no more fights will happen. Who wants to fight a Cyborg?
  417. >And hey, Cyborgs are also very unattractive, so maybe Fluttershy will stop chasing you now.
  418. >You get home and lie in bed, staring at the ceiling before powering down for the night
  419. >Thankful in the knowledge that you aren't, and never will be:
  420. >Fucking Fluttershy.
