Earth Ponies First

                                            >Be earth mare with your coltfriend walking through the grassy valley outside of town

                                            >You both have been frolicking through the morning

                                            >There is the pond up ahead

                                            >You smack him in the face with your tail then rush ahead to beat him into the cool water

                                            >You arrive at the edge of he pond and turn around with a large smirk on your face

                                            >He is lagging behind, he has those foal chasing hips, but is just a few hundred hooves away

                                            >You laugh and stomp your hooves to encourage him to keep galloping

                                            > A shadow passes over your head followed by wind on your back

                                            >You look up in slow motion as a large pegasus mare swoops down upon your coltfriend, latching onto him, and then flying off.

                                            >You scream into the sky running after them as fast as your hooves can take you

                                            >But you are not fast enough

                                            >After a minute they disappear into the clouds

                                            >You break down and cry amid the fields of green

                                            >You really liked him and maybe you could have married him someday

                                            >Now hes gone...forever

                                            >Cherry was right. You need to see her , maybe she can help you rescue him.

                                            "Cherry, CHERRY!"

                                            >You are Lemon Cello

                                            >You yell out her name as you run down the streets of ponyville

                                            >Soon your thundering hooves take you close to her home

                                            >She is now in view looking annoyed sitting next to her hot air balloon.  Princess twilight is also there.

                                            "CHERRY!"

                                            >She looks over at you and gets to her hooves

                                            >TS "Hey I was here first. Ahem now Berry about that tour over the ...

                                            >You skid to a stop in front of her trying to catch your breath

                                            >Cherry Berry looks at your frantic expression

                                            >CB "You look awful what happened Lemon?"

                                            >TS “As I was saying,,,

                                            “He’s gone Cherry, Rusty Shackles is gone”

                                            >Cherry walks over and hugs you.  Tears flow onto her withers

                                            >CB “Talk to me Lemon what was it”

                                            “A Pegasus swooped him Cherry, just before I was going to ask him to go steady.  If only I could get up onto the clouds, maybe I could rescue him.”

                                            >Cherry grabs you by the shoulders and places you a hoof in front of her.  She looks you in the eyes.

                                            >CB “We can try Lemon.  The balloon is ready, hop into the basket and we will set out”

                                            >You wipe tears from your eyes and smile at her

                                            “You’re the best Cherry”

                                            >You scramble over the top of the straw basket attached to the balloon

                                            >Princess Twilight flashes her wings out in front of Berry

                                            >TS ”Cherry I won’t stand for this, she jumped the line”

                                            >Cherry zips around the princess and hops into the basket, expeditiously lighting the flame and pulling the anchored rope up

                                            >You peer over the basket as the balloon begins to leave the ground

                                            >Cherry yells out “Sorry Princess but this is friendship business”

                                            >From below  “BUT I'M THE PRINCESS OF FRIENDSHIP…THAT BAG ALMOST HIT ME CHERRY!”

                                            >Berry chuckles as she pulls in the last of the anchoring rope and you join her for a good minute

                                            >Cherry steers the hot air balloon towards the cloud bank you last saw your budding lover Rusty.


                                            >You are Time Turner, or Doctor Whooves to the mail mare.

                                            >Life has been a little more frantic here in ponyville for the last few months.

                                            >Usually all the excitement comes from some monster or villain that shows up for a while but then is taken care of by a plucky set of adventurers.

                                            >But this is different. The mood of the town has changed. You have grown up here since you were a wee colt so you should know when that happens.

                                            >Why just a few days ago your were Stallioning your shop of curiosities. It was a clear day with the sun shinning through the windows. You were busy at the front desk doing a crossword puzzle when you heard a frightened yelp outside. Curiosity had you so you proceeded to chance a look outside.

                                            >An Earth Pony stallion by the name of Stable Hammer was hiding behind the wall of the building in front of yours. His head was slowly taking a peak to the left side of the building that he was against. His hooves were visibly shaking and his mane was quite a mess. He was in trouble and you knew you should help.

                                            >As you approached the door to open it you heard Stable scream.

                                            >Throwing open the door revealed the residual mark of unicorn magic left against where he just was. You peered left and saw his rear hoof and tail disappear down an alleyway covered in a blue magical grasp.

                                            >By the alleyway a unicorn stallion was standing trying to look non-nonchalant. When he spotted you looking his way, he put his fore hoof up to his eye and made the i'm watching you hoof motion. After doing so he took off at a light trot going deeper into town.

                                            >Shortly thereafter you reported the incident to the local town guard patrol. One of them was a unicorn who after telling them the story looked at me like I was the criminal. They both left after that.

                                            >The next morning you went to open your shop door and found a note tucked into the door frame. It stated that Stable Hammer had been found and was put into the protection of the guard for the time being, and no further action was necessary. You have not seen Stable since then but you have heard of a few other missing ponies through the gossip chain.

                                            >So last night you went to talk to Rose , whom is currently courting you, to talk about all of this. She became very worried. Once her sisters arrived back from a late night dinner Rose told them and they shared some weird occurrences as well. After the sharing of tales you all talked about what could be done.

                                            >The talk of moving to a different town was brought up, somewhere there were just earth ponies. Someplace safe. Lily stated there was a new settlement on the coast , and the Mares seemed to like the name of it. A name of Stalliongrad or Coltonia would have been great. Maretime Bay....not the greatest ring to it. You told them you would think about it.

                                            >Rose escorted you home after that. You really adored her and maybe later she might find a ball bra adorning the floor if she played her cards right.


                                            >But you were being escorted home. You had passed by carousel boutique, and from a basement window you swore you saw something not nice.

                                            >You rushed to the front door with Rose in tail, knocking on the door with a hoof repeatedly.

                                            >Seconds rushed by with not an answer or sounds to mark somepony was coming.

                                            >Rose looked at you like you were crazy as you reared up and bucked the door open.

                                            >Bursting inside with Rose you saw the main floor was lightly disheveled. Not something too strange but lights played underneath the door to the basement.

                                            >Rose urged caution but you were past that. Opening the door and rushing downstairs revealed a horrible sight.

                                            >Earth ponies of Stallions and a Mare were chained to the walls and gagged. You saw Stable looking worse for wear his face showing despair, Filthy Rich with torn clothing but a defiant look about him, and Cherilee curled up into a ball.

                                            >With Rose's help you unchained all of them and began to help them up the stairs.

                                            >As you reached the main floor two robed unicorns stood there on the other side of the room by the staircase going up.

                                            >The unicorns bellowed out that nopony would leave.

                                            >Cherilee and Rose were both seized by unicorn magic being pressed into the floor face first.

                                            >That didn't stop Filthy. He charged forward barreling into the larger unicorn and proceeded to batter her with his hooves. Stable regained some courage and followed your lead charging forward and bashing the smaller one into the staircase. Stable kicked at her horn while you looked over to Rose.

                                            >Rose had Cherilee in a hug trying to comfort her.

                                            >Filthy had been very vocal this entire time. While his thrashing of the larger Unicorn continued his words became more viscous until he stopped and spit on her motionless body.

                                            >You grabbed Stable and told Filthy you all needed to leave right now.

                                            >With Rose and Cherilee in tow you had left he building headed towards your home, Filthy had left just a minute afterwords. Smoke followed his wake outside.

                                            >Cherilee and Stable had left your home in the morning. All with talk about leaving town. You think that town by the bay has a better ring to it now.


                                            >Time Turner faces Rose with his back to his shop

                                            >TT"Rose I have been thinking about this for some time........and you are right we need to leave. It is far too dangerous for us here in what used to be a quaint quiet town. Give me a minute and I will pack up, can you bring your cart next to the door?

                                            >RL"Of course Timey and do hurry".

                                            >Turner trots inside his shop busying himself with finding the most valuable keep sakes to bring. Roseluck makes a quick gallop to her home hooks herself up to her cart, and walks it to Turners shop. She always had a little issue with parallel parking it though. While she goes back and forth with the cart trying to get it to align with the shop door, she hears this from inside.

                                            >??"Mr Turner thank Spitfire I found you, I heard you were going to leave without me?"

                                            >TT" Derpy I am leaving with Roseluck for good, you`re my friend but I cant stay here any longer"

                                            >>Sniffling

                                            >DH"But Time we were supposed to be together, just you and me"

                                            >>Sighing

                                            >TT" I'm sorry Derpy but I don't see you that way, why don't you go after that weight lifter instead. He is a pegasus after all"

                                            >Sound of hooves crashing against floorboards. You try to unhook yourself as fast as possible from the cart.

                                            >A retarded set of screams echoes from inside the shop. Crashing metal and wood reverberates as a backdrop.

                                            >TT "Derpy what are you doing let me go, stop. ROSE HELP ME!"

                                            >With the last clasp undone you race inside only to see a blonde tail disappear through a hole in the wall. Charging through the last sight you see of your Doctorfu is him fighting against the hooves of a grey and blonde pegasus heading towards a large cloud bank.

                                            >You scream in emotional agony then break down in tears

                                            >Rose you had just one job.......


                                            >Meanwhile high above Ponyville

                                            >Berry and Cello watch the clouds looking for Rusty. Cherry navigates the balloon through the cloud banks towards what looks like a well built home in the sky.

                                            >Pillars and walls of clouds decorate this extravagant cloud house. You are a amazed that his was possible.

                                            "Cherry this is amazing up here, I cant believe it. So are you going to set down on this cloud and we just walk on them?"

                                            >Cherry peers over the edge of the cart then shakes her head. "We will tumble through the clouds if we get out Lemon. Our best bet is to bump into the house and test if those clouds will hold our weight"

                                            >The balloon shears through the clouds , tearing its way across the well paved cloud way.

                                            >"Brace yourself Lemon I have never actually tried going near a cloud home before"

                                            >Cherry and Lemon both grab a hold of roping. The balloon sails slowly forward into the front entryway of the cloud home(mansion). Bumping into it with small pieces of cloud breaking off but definitely not penetrating.

                                            >Cherry leans over the edge of the cart poking the door with a hoof. Failing to go through she tests the entryway cloud flooring with a hoof still holding onto a rope.

                                            >You watch in fear that your friend may fall through. She is tensed up as a hoof makes contact with the cloud. She slowly relaxes and places another hoof down. Cherry wipes sweat from her brow, and then proceeds to busy herself with tying the anchor rope to a cloud light fixture.

                                            >The sound of braking glass is heard from above

                                            >A heavy weight lands on top of the balloon then rolls forward nearly hitting Cherry. Cherry makes an "eep" sound tumbling to the side.

                                            >To your surprise Rusty is laying down on the entryway rubbing his head.

                                            >From above you hear a gravely voice echo down " my eyes, where did you get sand you tartarus damned colt"

                                            >Rusty laughs while getting to his feet. Cherry is back up rolling a surprised Rusty into the cart. You instantly grab him into a hug nuzzling the back of his head. Cherry is back into the balloon frantically pulling rope inside and then kicking off against he door.

                                            >Rusty" Lemon I cant believe it you came to save me, oh mare your the best. Even better than that blonde I told you about."

                                            >You laugh and cry dragging him into a kiss.

                                            >The balloon descends through the clouds

                                            >Cherry" Hold on foals I think that crusty cunt will be trying to interdict us before we reach ground"


                                            >Rusy breaks the kiss. "She was trying to innerdick me up there, but I was prepared. When I saw her coming down to swoop me earlier I grabbed some sand on the ground and hid it..hehe right in the face when she went for the old stallion purse".

                                            >You laugh with Rusty.

                                            "That's my Stallion "

                                            >Cherry yells out "brace for impact"

                                            >The air balloon rocks back and forth as two ponies tumble into and then inside.

                                            >You make sure Rusty is ok and then look over. Cherry is still on her hooves but looking angry.

                                            >Cherry "Derpy get out of my Balloon you damn menace"

                                            >What is Time doing up here?

                                            >TT "Thank Celestia you were up her Cherry, I would kiss you but there is a mare waiting for me down on the ground"

                                            >Derpy rolls onto her stomach then spreads her wings out attempting to latch onto Turner.

                                            >Turner fights against her

                                            >TT "That is enough Derpy. Please just leave me alone, you have the skies let me have the ground.

                                            >Derpy stops grappling with Turner backing against the edge of the cart. With tears in her eyes that goes this way and that, she looks at Turner one more time then leaps out of the cart. Seconds later you can see her flying up and away.

                                            >Cherry huffs "I don't know what has gotten into all the pegasus but this is far too much.

                                            >TT "Its not just the Pegasus, unicorns have been abducting us as well"

                                            >Turner gets up and looks out across the skies "I am leaving ponyville as soon as we touch ground." He turns around looking at the rest of you. "You can come with the flower sisters and I, your company would be welcome."

                                            >Cherries attention is on the skies still as the balloon continues its descent.

                                            "Rusty I don't feel safe in Ponyville either, why don't we join him"

                                            >Rusty" As long as you stay by my side we can do it, that and maybe find a place that sells smokes"

                                            >Cherry" Time I will load up my things and meet you by the edge of town...after this I wouldn't be surprised if more Earth ponies join us before we pass downtown. Lemon could you lend a hoof once we land?"

                                            "You don't even need to ask , Rusty and I would be glad to help"
