  7. Part 1
  8. ---
  9.
  10. >Day Roommates in Equestria
  11. >Wake up
  12. >Walk over to the bathroom
  13. >First thing you notice - The toothbrush
  14. >It's covered in slime, again
  15. >Growl
  16. >Clean it as best you can
  17. >Grimace
  18. >Begin brushing your teeth
  19. >Still tastes like whatever the fuck it tastes like
  20. >Such a strange taste, even through the toothpaste
  21. >Finish brushing and hop in the shower
  22. >The water is set to sub-arctic temperatures
  23. >Again
  24. >You scream like a girl and leap out of the shower, tripping up on your wet feet and slamming your head against the tiled floor
  25. AARGH FUCK!
  26. >You lie on the floor for a second, wet, naked, and nursing your no doubt fractured skull
  27. >Eventually you get back up and adjust the temperatures to what you prefer
  28. >Molten water
  29. >Let out a long drawn out breath as the water turns your skin bright red from the heat
  30. >Lovely
  31. >All clean and hygienic, you get out and dry yourself off, ending the routine with a relaxing shit.
  32. >Vulgar, yes. Necessary, definitely. Should have done it before shower? Absolutely.
  33. >Make a mental note to swap the routine around
  34. >For a while you sit upon your porcelain throne, pondering life and the universe
  35. >You almost forget that your life is a myriad of problems and awkward situations
  36. >And then you hear the all too familiar knock on the door, followed by the all too familiar scream that makes up this all too familiar morning routine
  37. >Sigh
  38. >Flush the toilet and pull on some clothes before stomping downstairs
  39. >Walk through the kitchen on the way to the front door
  40. >Look up
  41. >A pony is stuck to the ceiling, trembling
  42. Mornin'.
  43. >She squeals in response
  44. >Fucking Sandy.
  45. >You are Anonymous.
  46. >And your roommate is fucking weird.
  47. >Stroll over to the front door and open it
  48. >Look down
  49. >Fluttershy is stood on your doorstep, as usual
  50. >Call back into the house
  51. It's ok, Sandy. It's just Fluttershy... Again...
  52. >Sandy calls back from your kitchen ceiling
  53. >"Exactly!"
  54. >You hear a crash, indicating that she let go and broke the kitchen table for the 5th time this month.
  55. >Turn back and look at Fluttershy
  56. What.
  57. >"Oh I was j-just wondering if you wanted to try my own h-homemade lemonade!"
  58. >She pulls out glass of ungodly liquid
  59. >It's black, bubbling, letting off putrid yellow smog, and seems to be burning through the glass in several places
  60. >Fluttershy smiles
  61. >"D-drink up, Anon!"
  62. Wait right here
  63. >You head back into the house
  64. >Return with a broom
  65. >Smack the glass out of Fluttershy's hoof with it
  66. >The glass hits the floor and shatters
  67. >The black liquid seems to become more viscous, turning into a small black blob, complete with sticky looking arms that it uses to drag itself along the floor
  68. >It creates itself a mouth and shrieks at you and Fluttershy before rolling away down the hill
  69. >"Oh... G-glitterpuffs!"
  70. Language, Fluttershy.
  71. >She squeaks
  72. >"I'll get you next time, Anon!"
  73. >She flies away
  74. >Shout after her
  75. IT'S BEEN 5 FUCKING WEEKS, FLUTTERSHY!
  76. >Walk back inside to inspect the damage
  77. >Sandy is trying to apply CPR to a broken table leg
  78. >"SIR! CAN YOU HEAR ME WITH YOUR EARS?"
  79. Sandy.
  80. >She looks up
  81. >"Good Evening!"
  82. >Sigh
  83. Just... Let’s just eat breakfast, okay?
  84. >"That sounds incredible! Fantastic!"
  85. >She sits down on a chair and smiles at you
  86. >You roll your eyes and go over to the cupboard to get some cereal out
  87. >You still have no idea how your life came to this
  88. >It was bad enough ending up here in Equestria
  89. >But Sandy... Well.
  90. >Sandy was different from other ponies.
  91.
  92. >Day Sandy in Equestria
  93. >Be Anon
  94. >Homeowner
  95. Ms Mayor, I cannot thank you enough for this house, seriously. How can I repay you?
  96. >The Mayor smiles up at you
  97. >"Consider it a gift, Anon. You're the only one of your kind here, and I feel that it's my civil duty to look after you!"
  98. You're too kind, really.
  99. >"Also you have to pay me 15 bits a month on mortgage"
  100. Fuckin' A.
  101. >She grins at you and trots off
  102. >"Have a pleasant day, Mr Anonymous!"
  103. >You watch her go
  104. >Turn back to look at the front of your house
  105. >Sigh happily
  106. >It's a modest abode
  107. >2 stories
  108. >2 bedrooms
  109. >A fully functioning bathroom
  110. >Plenty of space
  111. >Strong walls
  112. >Fully soundproofed
  113. >And it's all yours.
  114. >You try to contain your excitement as you fumble with the keys to unlock the front door
  115. >Push it open
  116. >Ahh... It's got that new house smell
  117. >Look around your new home in silent wonder, stroking the walls and furniture
  118. >Hard to believe it's all yours
  119. >Up until now you had been living with Fluttershy
  120. >And her padlocked box of "Fun Surprises"
  121. >That was a load of bullshit.
  122. >Anal beads aren't a fun surprise at all
  123. >You sit down in your lounge, enjoying the comfy sofa you were provided with
  124. >This is the life...
  125. >A loud knocking interrupts the tranquil silence
  126. >Smile
  127. >Your first ever visitor!
  128. >Practically dance over to the door
  129. >Open it
  130. >A tan coloured pony with a maroon mane is looking at you like someone who just watched a church implode
  131. Uhh, hello, miss. Are you okay?
  132. >"INGREDIENTS."
  133. What?
  134. >"I meant hello?"
  135. >What the fuck.
  136. >"Yes!... Hello? Hello! Hello is what I meant."
  137. Are you... Did you break out of an asylum or something?
  138. >"Asylum?... Asylum."
  139. >She blinks
  140. >"YES! ASYLUM! I seek asylum with you."
  141. Wait, what?
  142. >She nods and trots past you into the house
  143. >You stammer and try to piece together what's going on
  144. Hey, you can't just come in here, this is my house! I have to invite you in!
  145. >The pony is running laps around the sofa
  146. >She's counting them as she goes
  147. >"5... 6... 7... 8... 9.... 10!"
  148. >She stops and beams at you
  149. >Gawp at her
  150. >"Now we are roommates! Yes."
  151. >You mouth the words "What the fuck"
  152. >She licks her lips and looks around nervously
  153. >"Are we... Friends now? Is that how these things work?"
  154. I don't...
  155. >No. Fuck this, time to be assertive.
  156. >Clear your throat
  157. Get out of my house, NOW.
  158. >The pony stares at you
  159. >"Of course!"
  160. >She laughs very deliberately and canters out the front door, even shutting it behind her
  161. >God damn that was weird
  162. >Walk to the front door and lock it, just to be safe
  163. >Go to the kitchen to make some food, if you even have any
  164. >Thoughts of the pony are circling your mind
  165. >What the hell was she even doing?
  166. >Open the fridge
  167. >"HELLO! THIS IS A NORMAL THING?"
  168. >Scream at the top of your lungs
  169. >The pony falls out of the fridge and shudders
  170. >"It was cold in that box. Hardly a fitting bed!"
  171. HOW THE FUCK DID YOU EVEN GET IN?
  172. >She turns around and points to the back door
  173. >It's wide open
  174. Oh.
  175. >Pick her up
  176. >"My name is Shifting Sands!"
  177. I don't give a shit.
  178. >Throw her out the back door and lock it
  179. >Lean against it and listen for a second
  180. >You can hear her talking to herself
  181. >"No no no! Not part of the plan. Need a safe place! This house sure is nice... That's normal? That's normal!"
  182. >You shake your head
  183. >She must be mentally damaged or something
  184. >That's... Kinda sad, really.
  185. >Look back at the fridge
  186. >Empty
  187. >Damn.
  188. >You walk back into the lounge and pick up your bag
  189. >Enough bits for some food
  190. >Tomorrow you can search for work
  191. >You unlock the front door and peer outside
  192. >No sign of the pony
  193. >Quickly shut the door behind you and lock it
  194. >Your house is on the edge of Ponyville, along with a string of other houses
  195. >It's a 5 minute walk to the market, which is pretty good.
  196. >You walk through the busy market square, your eyes darting from stall to stall
  197. >You notice Big Mac running his stand
  198. >Walk on over
  199. Morning, Mac!
  200. >He nods at you
  201. Could I please have as many apples as this will buy?
  202. >Place 10 bits on the counter
  203. >He looks at it
  204. >And gives you 9 apples
  205. >You don't argue with the maths
  206. >It just works
  207. Thanks, Mac.
  208. >He nods at you
  209. >Not much a talker, that one.
  210. >You walk from stand to stand, buying various items. All of them vegetables.
  211. >What you wouldn't give for some meat
  212. >You'll talk with Twilight later about it
  213. >A short while later, you head back home carrying two bags full of veg
  214. >When your house comes into view, you begin to get nervous
  215. >The pony wouldn't have stuck around, would she?
  216. >You struggle to unlock the door with your hands full
  217. >Manage to open it and stumble into the house
  218. >And to your complete horror
  219. >It's... Empty
  220. >Predictable, really.
  221. >You walk into the kitchen and set the food down on the counter
  222. >Turn back around
  223. >"I MADE YOU THIS BECAUSE I LOVE YOU ARE WE FRIENDS NOW?"
  224. >Once more, you scream
  225. >The Pony is hovering in front of your face, her wings like a hummingbird's and a pleased look on her face
  226. >She's carrying a crude drawing of you and her in front of the house
  227. >It's drawn in what appears to be grass stains
  228. >You'll give credit where it's due, this can't have been easy to do
  229. >You take the more gentle approach
  230. >She might be unstable
  231. Okay then! This is very nice!
  232. >Carefully take the drawing from her
  233. How about we get you to the hospital? The nice ponies there can look after you!
  234. >She cocks her head
  235. >"Hospital? Why would I need that? Don't be crazy, Anonymous."
  236. >She turns around and trots into the lounge, sitting down on the sofa
  237. ...What?
  238. >Follow her and sit in the chair across from her
  239. >She smiles at you when you sit down
  240. >"Greetings there!"
  241. >Stare at her
  242. >Time to try and communicate with this thing
  243. So uhh. What's your name again?
  244. >"My birth title is Shifting Sands! I even have a cutie mark, see?"
  245. >She shows you her ass
  246. >A cutie mark of a panda's face rests upon it
  247. >How does that even...
  248. >And hold on, when did she get wings?
  249. >Wasn't she an Earth Pony this morning?
  250. Okay then. Shifting Sands... Why are you trying to stay in my house?
  251. >"Well I do not have one. No sir, I don't. It's quite sad. Yes."
  252. Uh huh. Well I agree with you there. But why mine? Can't you get your own house?
  253. >"I could NOT get my own house. Nu uh. That isn't a logical choice to make at this time."
  254. >This pony.
  255. You have a very... Bizarre way of speaking.
  256. >"What are you making noises with your mouth about? I'm just speaking normally. I find this conversation offensive!"
  257. >She throws a pillow at you
  258. >Catch it in mid-air with one hand
  259. >"Excellent catch, Anonymous!"
  260. How do you know my name?
  261. >"I heard you talking to the elected official of the village!"
  262. You mean... The Mayor?
  263. >"No."
  264. No?
  265. >"I meant yes"
  266. Alright then.
  267. >She smiles at you
  268. >You honestly don't know how to feel
  269. >Time to get serious
  270. Shifting Sands-
  271. >"Call me Sandy. I like the shortening of my name to Sandy."
  272. Sandy, then. Why don't you have a home?
  273. >"I just got into town. Just moved here from another town. Don't have a home in this town at the moment."
  274. I see. Don't you have family to support you?
  275. >"I have a family! Yes!
  276. >She seems incredibly happy at this
  277. >"I love them very much."
  278. Are they not able to send you... Money?
  279. >"Ehh. Money. Who needs it?"
  280. You do. Because money is what you need to survive in this day and age, it seems.
  281. >She seems shocked
  282. >"I don't need money!... Do I? Where can I get some?"
  283. Ha, well. You'll have to work to earn some. But I don't think anyone will be willing to give you a job with you acting like uhh...
  284. >Motion to her entire body
  285. This.
  286. >"What if I help you work? I can work! I never get tired!"
  287. I seriously doubt that. And no, you can't help me work. I don't even have a job yet.
  288. >"This must change! We must get you a place of work!"
  289. I plan to do so tomorrow. But we need to sort out you first.
  290. >"My name is Sandy!"
  291. >Sigh and rest your elbows on your knees, cupping your face in your hands
  292. >Sandy laughs
  293. >"I was just fooling, Anon! A joke! Back home, jokes are appreciated."
  294. Yeah... I'm sure they are.
  295. >"So are we roommates now?"
  296. I don't know. Are we? I don't remember even mentioning it.
  297. >"Of course we are! I drew you a picture and can help you! I'm the best at being a roommate! Accept me now!"
  298. >She jumps onto your lap and pushes your back against the chair with her hooves
  299. >She's... Strong
  300. >She narrows her eyes and pushes her face into yours
  301. >"ACCEPT ME."
  302. O-okay?
  303. >She jumps off
  304. >"Excellent! I shall live here now! We will be the best friends! Allies! Comrades! Chums!"
  305. >Still stunned by her show of force, you squeak out a word that seems highly relevant all of a sudden
  306. Prisoners?
  307. >She turns to you
  308. >"Yes!"
  309. >Back to the present, and in the kitchen
  310. >Sandy is still sat on her chair
  311. >"Anonymous! Are you feeling fine?"
  312. >You've been staring at the wall for a while now, thinking about past events
  313. >"Anonymous!"
  314. Huh, what?
  315. >"You've been staring at that wall for a while now, thinking about past events, most likely"
  316. Oh, right, sorry.
  317. >Pour the milk on the breakfast
  318. >Give the bowl to Sandy
  319. >She's not that bad, really. She's actually completely harmless
  320. >For you
  321. >She has a hidden nasty streak
  322. >And is fiercely protective of you
  323. >You're not sure why
  324. >You once confronted her about it
  325. >She said that if anything happened to you, she would be alone in the house, and being alone scares her
  326. >You couldn't help but feel a twang of guilt at that
  327. >Not too many people are scared of being alone
  328. >But you tend to keep her close most of the time, so she's happy.
  329. >She also does... Peculiar things. Usually involving other ponies that are near you.
  330. >"Anon!"
  331. What.
  332. >"What are we doing today?"
  333. You know what we're doing, Sandy. I'M going to work, and you're going to follow me as usual. And then when work is finished I'll see you sat next to some poor pony's unconscious body.
  334. >"They must be eradicated! It is law!"
  335. Yeah, sure.
  336. >"Shall we head off?"
  337. No. I need breakfast first-
  338. >Sandy flies up to the cupboard, tears the door off its hinges and grabs the cereal
  339. >She then pins you down and force-feeds you oats for about 2 minutes
  340. >It's horrible
  341. >You cried the entire time
  342. >She laughed and said that it was for the greater good
  343. >After that experience, you and Sandy are walking towards work.
  344. >Or rather, you are walking to work, Sandy is following you.
  345. >"Anon!"
  346. What.
  347. >"Why are you so unhappy?"
  348. I just want a normal day today, Sandy. No bullshit.
  349. >"I shall try. But I must protect you from invasion parties."
  350. >She latches onto your head like a fuzzy hat, her forelegs clamped onto the sides of your face
  351. >"You never know when they'll attack."
  352. >You'll admit one thing
  353. >Over the weeks, her speaking has become better. She doesn't make as many strange mistakes or hiccups.
  354. >She's still a fucking weirdo, though.
  355. >"OVER THERE!"
  356. >She uses her forelegs to turn your head to the side
  357. >A nearby bush has sprouted yellow wings
  358. >She hisses in your ear
  359. >"Eeeeeeneeeemieeeeeeees!"
  360. Yes, Sandy. I see them. Stop being weird. And get the hell off my head, my neck is getting sore.
  361. >"Oh. My humblest sorries"
  362. >She slides off your head and takes to hovering alongside you
  363. >"I will protect you, Anon. You can trust me"
  364. I wouldn't trust you with cardboard box. Now PLEASE.
  365. >You turn to her
  366. Let me work. Just... Go and do something else for today. I need my space.
  367. >She lands on the floor and looks up at you sadly
  368. >"What am I supposed to accomplish on my own?"
  369. I don't know. You'll find something to do. You always do.
  370. >Anonymous enters the flower shop and shuts the door
  371. >You are Sandy
  372. >You are... Alone.
  373. >Look around at the town
  374. >Ponies are going about their business, taking no notice of you
  375. >You squirm slightly
  376. >Anon's words echo through your mind
  377. >You'd hate to let him down
  378. >You just need to stay strong for a few hours. That's all.
  379. >You pick up a faint rustling in a bush nearby
  380. >Cringing slightly at the noise, you look at it
  381. >The bush grows legs and waddles over to the window of the flower shop, oblivious to you
  382. >The little yellow stumps and slightly throbbing wings give you an idea who it is
  383. >Narrow your eyes
  384. >March over
  385. >The bush is now peering inside the window, wings frequently shuddering
  386. >Stand directly behind the bush
  387. RAINBOW DASH.
  388. >The bush screams and head-butts the glass
  389. >Oh no! If Anon knows you've been screwing around he'll hate you forever!
  390. >...Sometimes even you don't understand your own mind
  391. >Whatever the case, you tackle Rarity and pin her against the wall underneath the window
  392. >It slides open and Anon's head pokes out
  393. >"Hello? Anyone out there?"
  394. >You stay motionless
  395. >Twilight Sparkle has other plans, and is squirming
  396. >You hold him close in a vice and clasp a hoof over his mouth
  397. >Anon sighs and grumbles to himself
  398. >"Damn kids..."
  399. >The window shuts
  400. >Let go of Applejack
  401. >She falls to the floor, gasping for breath
  402. >She shakes herself like a dog, the leaves and twigs falling around her
  403. >Fluttershy g-
  404. >OOOOH, that makes MUCH more sense.
  405. >Fluttershy glares at you
  406. >"What the sugar coated tea leaves are you doing?"
  407. Language, Fluttershy.
  408. >Anon would be so proud of you if he heard you say that
  409. >You smile at the thought
  410. >She fumes
  411. >"Y-you don't tell me to watch my language, missy! I'm here for Anon!"
  412. Yeah? Well I guess I'm protecting him from you. If I don't, you'll kill him and take over our house!
  413. >Fluttershy seems shocked
  414. >"I-I-I don't want to k-kill Anon!"
  415. Oh. Then why are you spying on him
  416. >"He's... Umm..."
  417. >She starts pawing the ground
  418. >Her rear legs shudder
  419. >You don't understand
  420. Well, what? What is it?
  421. >"I w-want his..."
  422. >She mumbles under her breath
  423. >Luckily, you've got a great sense of hearing
  424. Monkey dick. Got it.
  425. >What the hell is monkey dick.
  426. What the hell is monkey dick?
  427. >Fluttershy lights up
  428. >"Y-you don't know? Ohh my goodness! Well, Anon had this amazing thing under his clothes! It makes such delicious cream..."
  429. Huh. Cream? From Anon? Sounds nasty.
  430. >"Oh no! It's very umm salty."
  431. >She giggles to herself
  432. >Salt
  433. >Yuck
  434. >You hate salt
  435. >Hell, you hate most food. You only eat it to seem normal
  436. And why exactly do you want this cream?
  437. >"If he makes some for me, it shows that he loves me!"
  438. Interesting...
  439. >Fluttershy begins a rant on how she's been trying to get Anon to love her, and she can only do that if she gets him to make cream for her. Because apparently that's how love works
  440. >You don't fully understand
  441. >All you know is that she quivers every time she says 'Anon'
  442. >Weird pony.
  443. >"...And then, we'll get married and have foals!"
  444. >Well that's just not right at all
  445. >That's an insult to the laws of science
  446. You and Anon can't have foals, you aren't even the same species.
  447. >"W-well love will find a way!"
  448. Love doesn't work like that.
  449. >Fluttershy is getting Flustered...shy.
  450. >"Oh, and I s-suppose you know everything about love, huh?"
  451. I know enough. But biology isn't love. Stop being crazy.
  452. >"Ooooh- HUGGYBEARS!"
  453. Language.
  454. >"I d-don't need to talk to you! All I need is my Anon!"
  455. >She makes a dash for a nearby cellar entrance, leading underneath the shop
  456. >Oh gods no
  457. >She throws open the entrance and disappears underground
  458. >You follow suit, closing the doors behind you.
  459. >Because that's the polite thing to do. Anon always said he liked how polite you were
  460. >You swell at the thought of him thanking and praising you
  461. >You liked being praised
  462. >You also hear Fluttershy stumbling around in the dark
  463. >Fortunately for you, your eyes adjust quickly, and you navigate around the various boxes and other instruments easily
  464. >You find Fluttershy with her leg caught in a box of Lilly Seeds
  465. >Smirk
  466. Oh dear. Looks like you're in quite a bind!
  467. >She looks around frantically
  468. >"W-where are you? Could you help me please?"
  469. >Cock your head
  470. >She can't see you?
  471. >Fluttershy nervously scans the room
  472. >She looks past you twice
  473. >It's not that dark, is it?
  474. >You hear a door open somewhere
  475. >"Oh god, it's pitch black in here!"
  476. >ANON
  477. >IF HE FINDS YOU HE'LL EXILE YOU
  478. >You one again tackle Fluttershy
  479. >She lets out half a scream before you ram half of your foreleg in her mouth
  480. >"Who's there? I just heard you. Come out."
  481. >You clutch Fluttershy, who is writhing and trying to break free
  482. >Can't let her
  483. >Anon won't be safe with her near him
  484. >"Come on, don't waste my time. I JUST heard you!"
  485. >Another voice joins him
  486. >"Anon? What's wrong?"
  487. >"Hey, Rose. I think there's someone in the cellar"
  488. >She chuckles
  489. >"It might be rats. Celestia knows we have a lot down here"
  490. >Anon grunts
  491. >"I'll be back, rats. And I'll squash all of you!"
  492. >Rose giggles
  493. >"Come on, Mr Rat-squasher. I'm not paying you to shout at nothing"
  494. >The door shuts
  495. >You let go of Fluttershy
  496. >She panics and starts running around in circles, trying to find you
  497. >"W-WHERE... WHERE ARE YOU?!"
  498. >You stare at her, amused
  499. >She stops dead still, panting, her ears twitching madly
  500. >Sneak up behind her
  501. Ingredients.
  502. >She lets out a howl and runs forward, straight into a nearby wall
  503. >You can hear the noise her face makes when it hits it from here
  504. >Wince
  505. >She'll feel that later on
  506. >The door opens
  507. >"Ok, Anon. I heard that as well. Got a light?"
  508. >"Yup."
  509. >You hide behind some boxes and watch as Anon and Rose walk through the cellar, searching for what made the noise
  510. >Your heart leaps at the sight of him
  511. >A smile creeps onto your face
  512. >Anon and Rose search through a few boxes until Rose finds Fluttershy
  513. >"Oh Celestia! Anon, I've found somep0ny!"
  514. >"Who?"
  515. >"...Fluttershy"
  516. >Anon groans and goes over to Rose
  517. >He nudges Fluttershy with his foot
  518. >She doesn't move
  519. >Grumbling, he grabs her tail and drags her up the steps to into the shop, Rose following behind him
  520. >No! He's taking her right where she wants to go!
  521. >You weave between boxes and sneak up the stairs as quietly as you can
  522. >Push open the door slightly
  523. >The shop is empty
  524. >You see Fluttershy's upper half disappear around a corner
  525. >She's wide awake and smiling straight at you
  526. >Glare
  527. >You ought to just run over there and confront her
  528. >But... Anon will be disappointed
  529. >You opt to continue your stealthy approach
  530. >Nudge open the door a little bit more and begin skulking through the shop
  531. >You hear hoofsteps
  532. >Duck behind a giant cactus
  533. >Rose trots back into the display room and takes her place behind the counter, pulling out a magazine and burying her face in it
  534. >You watch her for a while, your eyes darting from her to the place Anon dragged Fluttershy
  535. >Need to distract her somehow...
  536. >You notice an empty flowerpot next to you
  537. >Grin
  538.
  539. >You are Rose
  540. >Notice the cactus in the corner shuffle slightly
  541. >You look up and narrow your eyes at it
  542. Hello?
  543. >Nothing
  544. >You go back to reading the magazine
  545. >The cactus shuffles again
  546. Ok, seriously. Is that you, Anon? Fluttershy?
  547. >Go back to your magazine
  548. >A flowerpot crashes into the wall next to you
  549. What the f-
  550. >A Pony then collides with you
  551. >You try to scream but she rams her entire foreleg in your mouth
  552. >Tastes like dairy products.
  553. >You struggle but the pony wraps another leg around your throat
  554. >Your struggles get weaker as you are starved for air
  555. >Your vision goes darker and sound becomes more muffled, the sound of your rapid heartbeat pounding in your ears
  556. >And you're out.
  557. >You are Sandy
  558. >Master of Stealth
  559. >With Rose out of the way, you quickly hop over the counter and make your way to the back of the store
  560. >A flight of stairs leads to the second story of the building, no doubt where Anon took Fluttershy
  561. >You hear muffled screams coming from upstairs
  562. >Pick up the pace, using your wings to flap upstairs
  563. >You come to the door where the noises are coming from
  564. >Crash through the door
  565. >Anon is tied up on the bed, a pair of socks in his mouth Fluttershy grinning madly at him
  566. >They both look at you
  567. >Fluttershy squeals
  568. >Anon makes a happy sounding noise
  569. >With the stage set, you unleash your complimentary one liner, much to the entertainment of the audience and readers.
  570. Ingredients.
  571. >Fluttershy's eye twitches
  572. >"W-WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE US ALONE?"
  573. >She charges forward and punches you in the face
  574. >You're too stunned to think about what just happened
  575. >You go down like a sack of spuds
  576. >Anon groans over his socks
  577. >Fluttershy pants
  578. >"I-I'm sorry. But I need to show Anon that I love him!"
  579. >She flutters back over to the bed and begins licking Anon's face
  580. >You sit up, rubbing the side of your face and wincing
  581. >Anon is making a pathetic sobbing sound
  582. >Fluttershy is moaning every time she licks
  583. >You stand up, legs shaking and head spinning
  584. >Fluttershy sees this and flies back over to you
  585. >She hovers out of your reach
  586. >You unfurl your wings to fly but she swoops down and punches you again
  587. >You hit the floor and groan
  588. >Why is she hitting so hard?
  589. >Fluttershy pulls back to dish out the final blow when hole burns through the ceiling and a black blob lands in her mane
  590. >The blob screams
  591. >Fluttershy screams
  592. >Anon screams
  593. >You scream
  594. >Fluttershy drops to the floor and starts rolling around
  595. >"GET IT OFF GET IT OOOFF!"
  596. >You watch in awe as a small sentient piece of black goo chews on her left ear, making happy little "nom" sounds every now and again
  597. >While she's fighting for her left ear and mane, you trot over to Anon
  598. >Undo his binds
  599. >He sits bolt upright and hugs you
  600. >"Thanks, Sandy."
  601. >Your heart is hammering in your chest
  602. >You cannot contain your blush
  603. I- I can't think properly right now at the moment. Yes. No?
  604. >Anon chuckles and smiles warmly at you
  605. >"I owe you one"
  606. >You stammer and try to find words to say
  607. >At that moment, Fluttershy manages to get the blob off her
  608. >She throws it in a random direction
  609. >It lands on your face
  610. >The blob, only concerned with eating, bites your face
  611. >Pain overtakes you and you let out a cry
  612. >Anon tries to scrape the blob off with a sock
  613. >Fluttershy is huddled on the floor
  614. >The blob stops biting
  615. >It stays motionless
  616. >After a short while it drops to the floor, rolls to the nearby window and burns a hole in the glass
  617. >It looks back at you and says
  618. >"Missy, you taste like crap."
  619. >Then it's gone.
  620. >You smile nervously and look back at Anon
  621. Heh. Blobs, right?
  622. >He's staring at you, a confused look on his face
  623. >"Sandy... What the hell?"
  624. >What.
  625. >Fluttershy sits up and glares at you, her face badly burnt and scabbed, and her ear chewed up.
  626. >Her glare turns to a look of shock
  627. >"Oh- OH! OH NO!"
  628. >She takes flight and smashes through the window
  629. >You watch her go and look back at Anon
  630. >He takes a step away from you
  631. What's wrong?
  632. >"Yeah... That's what I was thinking."
  633. >You look around for a mirror
  634. >See one near the wall
  635. >Trot on over
  636. >Look into it
  637. >You stare back
  638. >And the place where the blob was chewing is now jet black and shiny
  639. >A corner of your mouth was also touched, and you see a single fang poking out
  640. >Your eye was completely enveloped, and a bright blue narrow eye looks back
  641. >Oh.
  642. >...
  643. >Bugger.
  644. >You turn away from it and look back at Anon sadly
  645. >He gawps at you
  646. >"Sandy, I don't understand."
  647. >You sigh and release the enchantment
  648. >Your tan coat and maroon mane fade away and the familiar black chitinous plating replaces it
  649. >Your horn reforms itself and your wings buzz slightly
  650. >Anon takes another step back
  651. >"So what, you're like a bug, or something?"
  652. I'm... A changeling.
  653. >Realisation seems to hit him
  654. >"Oooooh. NOW everything makes sense."
  655. >You sit on the floor and begin your tale
  656.
  657. >Being a Changeling brings its fair share of perks.
  658. >A loving family. A nice place to live (dark and cavernous). And a wonderful leader to idolise.
  659. >You on the other hoof... You were the runt of the litter
  660. >Mistake after mistake. You screwed up constantly.
  661. >Others called you a "Grub". Which isn't a very nice thing to call a Changeling
  662. >The Queen, who's love for her subjects never ends, also thought you were a Grub.
  663. >It was just that bad.
  664. >So she did the only thing she could. Since she couldn't kill you (Changelings don't kill other Changelings)
  665. >She exiled you. Kicked you right out of the hive and sent you someplace else
  666. >That place happened to be Ponyville.
  667. >Now this is where the troubles really started.
  668. >Changelings need companionship. Without it, they'll die. The Queen can survive forever without it, she's the queen. But normal changelings need something to interact with, or they'll just go mad
  669. >When you first arrived in Ponyville, you were terrified. You haphazardly threw together a disguise and thought of a name. You didn't understand the concept of Cutie Marks though.
  670. >That's why you have a panda for one
  671. >You were confused. Ponies were something you had never seen. You knew the basics of being a changeling, but not how to interact with other races.
  672. >That is why, when you saw Anon, you saw his height, strength and thought that he was the "Queen"
  673. >You tried your hardest to see to his needs and to serve him
  674. >Anything to make him happy
  675. >Anything to make him proud of you and appreciate you
  676. >Even if that meant forcing him to eat when he didn't want to.
  677. >Hey, Queens have got to eat as well, you know.
  678. >Sometimes, you even managed to squeeze a bit of love out of him. It wasn't much. It was a heavily diluted form of love, not the real deal. Usually created after you made him happy.
  679. >It was enough to sustain you
  680. >And if he was happy, you were happy.
  681. >Because that's all you wanted.
  682. >To be appreciated.
  683. >Anon is sat on the edge of the bed, listening to your tale with great interest
  684. >You finish and look up at him sheepishly
  685. >"You thought I was a queen? Seriously?"
  686. >He laughs
  687. >The sweetest sound.
  688. So uhh. What happens now?
  689. >"Shifting Sands. Oh man, that's good."
  690. Anon?
  691. >"All those times you did weird shit! How could I have not noticed!"
  692. >He laughs again
  693. >"You grew wings the second time we met!"
  694. >Oh yeah. That was nerves. You didn't know what to do when he came home so you just gave yourself wings
  695. Anon?
  696. >"Yeah?"
  697. You don't... Hate me now, do you?
  698. >"Not really, no. Why would I?"
  699. I tricked you.
  700. >"You took a necessary risk to save your own life and saved me from Fluttershy. Again. No, Sandy, I don't hate you."
  701. >You smile, and your heartbeat increases again
  702. >He walks over and kneels down in front of you
  703. >"You're a good friend, Sandy. Even if you are a bit weird... You even called the Mayor the "Elected Official". I'd hate to see what would have happened if you had followed her around for 5 weeks..."
  704. >Blush
  705. >He places a hand on your head and strokes
  706. >"I don't hate you, Sandy. You're the coolest friend I've ever had"
  707. >You feel a surge of love emanate from Anon. The strongest yet.
  708. >You stare up at his smiling face and for once in your confusing and troublesome life...
  709.
  710. >You feel like you belong.
  711.
  712. ---
  713. Part 2 (Contains clop)
  714. ---
  715.
  716. >Day Night in Equestria
  717. >Be Shifting Sands
  718. >You're sat on the sofa next to Anon, reading.
  719. >Glance over at him
  720. >He catches your eye and smiles warmly
  721. >Your heart rate increases, and you blush slightly
  722. >Look back down at the book, the words no longer legible
  723. >Lick your lips and nervously look around the room, trying to find words to say
  724. A-anon-
  725. >He stands up
  726. >"Want something to eat?"
  727. Oh... Yeah, sure. I would like to eat food now.
  728. >He chuckles
  729. >"Still need to work on that speech style, Sandy."
  730. >You scowl and look down
  731. >Stupid speaking
  732. >He walks into the kitchen
  733. >You hear him start to root through the fridge
  734. >Go back to reading
  735. >...
  736. >These aren't even words
  737. >You think
  738. >Floobarada?
  739. >Perfnickle?
  740. >Council?
  741. >While you scrunch up your face in a no doubt adorable manner, you realise that no noise is coming from the kitchen
  742. >Strain your ears and listen closely
  743. >Nothing
  744. >Sit up on the sofa and look over the back of it, towards the kitchen
  745. >Scream in terror
  746. >Fluttershy is bashing Anon's decapitated head against the floor
  747. >Various knifes and kitchen utensils are sticking out of his naked and ravaged corpse
  748. >Fluttershy plants a kiss on the shocked looking head, giving it as much bloody tongue as possible, then moaning loudly
  749. >"IS THIS YOUR FETISH ANON?"
  750. >Wake up with a cry
  751. >Pant heavily
  752. >You're shaking
  753. >Rain lashes against the windows
  754. >It's pitch black outside
  755. >You slowly look down at your trembling hooves
  756. >Look around the room
  757. >Shadows seem to grow and your eyes go to pinpricks
  758. >You squeal and throw off your duvet covers
  759. >Bolt out of your bedroom
  760. >Run across the landing, the sound of distant thunder rumbling overhead
  761. >Come to Anon's room
  762. >Stop in front of it, staring
  763. >Tenderly push a hoof against it
  764. >It swings open
  765. >Anon's sleeping form greets you
  766. >His arm is dangling off the side of the bed, and his gently snoring face is drooling all over pillow in his slumber
  767. >Trip over yourself running towards him
  768. >Burrow under the covers and snuggle up against his chest, taking his arm and draping it over yourself
  769. >You turn over and bury your face against him, the images of Fluttershy and Anon's bloodied body filling your mind
  770. >You tremble again and whimper
  771. Just a dream... Just a dream...
  772. >You feel Anon's arm tighten around you
  773. >"Just a dream."
  774. >And once more, you feel safe.
  775. >Day Day in Equestria
  776. >Be Anon
  777. >You wake up and find Sandy snoozing next to you
  778. >Oh shit.
  779. >Did you...?
  780. >Look under the covers
  781. >Pants on
  782. >Smells normal
  783. >All clear
  784. >You slide out of bed, snapping your fingers twice as you do so
  785. >The noise startles Sandy awake
  786. >"What? Why? I did!"
  787. >Smile and shake your head
  788. >Walk into the bathroom
  789. >Blankly stare at the mirror while you brush your teeth
  790. >Sandy's face joins yours in the glass
  791. >She reaches for a toothbrush, picking it up with her hoof
  792. How are you doing that?
  793. >She replies over a mouthful of white foam
  794. >"By boab bow"
  795. >God damn ponies
  796. >Well, technically, she's a changeling.
  797. >As you discovered last week
  798. >It's now 7 days since that incident at work
  799. >Rose gave you a raise in hopes that you would stay there and work for her
  800. >Naturally, you accepted, in exchange for her installing locks on absolutely everything.
  801. >You said that as a bit of a joke
  802. >But nope.
  803. >She actually put padlocks on the flowerpots. To stop people from breaking into them
  804. >She's not the sharpest thorn in the bush.
  805. >Sandy, though. Sandy just got more protective of you
  806. >You're not allowed to go anywhere without her now
  807. >Not that you mind. She's good company
  808. >Though it's like she's trying to protect you from the outside world
  809. >Adorable, but excessive
  810. >But after last night, you're prepared to forgive her
  811. >Poor thing was terrified. Though what of, you're not sure.
  812. >You go to take off your pants to get in the shower
  813. >Stop
  814. >Turn around
  815. >Sandy is rigidly staring at you, unmoving
  816. Uhh. Sandy?
  817. >A blush slowly appears on her face, but she doesn't move.
  818. Sandy I need to wash.
  819. >She still doesn't move
  820. What, are you going to protect me from the shower now?
  821. >Not moving
  822. Oh for fucks sake.
  823. >You reach into the cupboard under the sink
  824. >Take out a can of bits
  825. >Start shaking it
  826. >The noise is horrible, even for you
  827. >Wave it around in front of her face and rattle it even harder
  828. GO ON! GET OUTTA HERE!
  829. >She snaps to attention and lets loose what you can only describe as a throat-gargle type noise
  830. >She runs into the door frame, shakes her head, then runs out the bathroom and downstairs
  831. >As you put the can away and step under the shower, you hear her running into things downstairs
  832. >Hear a familiar crack that echoes through the house
  833. GOD DAMMIT, SANDY IF YOU'VE BROKEN THAT TABLE AGAIN I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD
  834. >Another throat-gargle answers you
  835. >Sigh and shower in silence for the rest of the duration
  836. >Dried off, dressed and clean, you head downstairs
  837. >Sandy is frantically covering every square inch of the table in duct tape
  838. >Try not to smile.
  839. >Gotta stay stern
  840. >Walk towards the front door
  841. >Look back over your shoulder
  842. >She hasn't noticed you yet, and is rocking back and forth under the duct tape table
  843. >You can't help it sometimes
  844. >She's just funny to watch
  845. >Open the front door to get the paper
  846. >Read the front page while you hear Sandy scream, followed by another loud smash
  847. >Take no notice
  848. >But something in the corner of your eye does
  849. >Look at a nearby tree
  850. >A pink mane is poking out from behind it
  851. Fucking F-
  852. >Pinkie Pie bounces out from behind it
  853. >"Betcha didn't see this one coming, did you, Annie?"
  854. Not only did I tell you never to call me that, but I totally saw it coming
  855. >"No you didn't, Liar McLiarpants!"
  856. >Fuck.
  857. Right, so what do you want, Pinks?
  858. >"Oh! Oh! Have 3 guesses!"
  859. >Easy.
  860. Party.
  861. >"Nope!"
  862. Huh... Picnic?
  863. >"Nnnnope! One more guess, Anonnypoo!"
  864. Don't call me that.
  865. >"It's not that either!"
  866. Wh-
  867. >"IT'S A PARTY!"
  868. >She opens her mouth as wide as she can and you watch a torrent of confetti form in her gullet and rush out into your face
  869. >You stare slack jawed into the abyss
  870. >And it stares back
  871. >And also throws confetti at you
  872. >You don't even care if some gets into your mouth
  873. >You can see inside Pinkie Pie's body
  874. >What has been seen must never be documented
  875. >You turn around and walk back towards your door
  876. >"Wait! Anon! Are you coming to the party?"
  877. Hell no.
  878. >Slam the front door
  879. >You walk into the kitchen
  880. >Sandy is stood next to a table made of duct tape
  881. >Two fried eggs are just sitting there in the middle. Not even on plates.
  882. >She puts on a fake grin
  883. >"Mmmm! I sure do like a healthy breakfast of dead chicken baby!"
  884. You could not have put me off my food any more than you just did.
  885. >Her eyes narrow
  886. >"You... Won't accept sustenance?"
  887. >Oh shit
  888. Oh shit
  889. >"Oh nutrients"
  890. >You turn and run for the front door
  891. >Sandy flies after you and grapples your legs before you can make it, making you crash to the floor
  892. >She pins you down, flips you over and sits on your chest, then begins cramming fried egg down your throat
  893. >You manage to say something over the food in your mouth
  894. GOD DAMMIT WHY?
  895. >"YOU NEED TO BE STRONG FOR THE COMING EVENTS!"
  896. >She finishes forcing the second egg down your throat
  897. >She falls forwards, panting
  898. >"Gotta... Keep you strong, Anon..."
  899. >You don't pay attention to that
  900. >You pay attention to the fact that when she fell forwards, your mouth ended up millimetres away from her marehood
  901. >You daren't move, lest the gap bridging your lips and hers is removed
  902. >Sandy sighs
  903. >Her crotch moves down slightly
  904. Sandy... Please move.
  905. >She looks down and freezes
  906. >She sees your face between her legs, and your eyes glued to what's about to touch your lips
  907. >Her face burns red and she immediately takes flight
  908. >However, she doesn't stop, and hits the ceiling
  909. >Then falls back towards you
  910. >You roll out of the way before she hits you
  911. >She instead hits the floor
  912. >Sigh
  913. >You're too young to be putting up with this shit
  914. >Pick up the dazed Changeling
  915. >Carry her upstairs
  916. >"Did I do good?"
  917. You're a bit messed up, Sandy. Just stay in bed for a while, ok?
  918. >"N-no. I must protect."
  919. N-no. Must rest.
  920. >She scowls at your poor imitation of her speech problems
  921. >"That was mean, Anonymous."
  922. >She fixes you with those large blue spheres and glares as hard as she can
  923. >It only makes her look cuter. Like an angry looking kitten.
  924. >You get to her room and lay her on the bed, stroking her maroon mane gently
  925. Rest, Sandy. You took a nasty bump there.
  926. >"I'm fine."
  927. >You ignore her and walk out of the room, downstairs, and out the door to Ponyville. Leaving Sandy in the house.
  928.
  929. >You are Sandy
  930. >Lying on your bed and staring at the ceiling, you think about what you've thought about for the last week
  931. >Anon
  932. >Anon Anon Anon
  933. >You slowly say his name out loud, listening to how weird it sounds when you say it a lot
  934. Aaaaaannnnnoooooon.
  935. >You sigh and look around the room
  936. >Your head really doesn't hurt that much
  937. >Anon was just overreacting
  938. >Jump off the bed
  939. >Crumple to the floor when you can't find your sense of balance
  940. >Huh. That's new
  941. >You struggle to stand up, your vision distorting and going blurry every so often
  942. >This is just weird.
  943. >Your legs shake as you try to steady yourself
  944. >After a while, when you're happy you won't fall over, you take a few steps
  945. >All good. Concussion Shmonshmussion.
  946. >You smile and trot downstairs
  947. >Now to find Anon
  948. >He'll be scared and confused if he's left alone
  949. >Well, not really.
  950. >He won't. But you will be.
  951. >You take a deep breath and try the door
  952. >Locked
  953. >You stare at the door, willing it to open
  954. >It doesn't.
  955. >You begin to get nervous, the ticking of the wall clock putting you on edge
  956. >You push and pull at the door as hard as you can
  957. >Doesn't budge
  958. >You run into the kitchen and try the backdoor
  959. >Nope.
  960. >You pace around, growing increasingly more anxious by the second
  961. >And then it hits you
  962. >You're a changeling.
  963. >No walls can hold you
  964. >You strain yourself as hard as you can, imagining your new body and focusing all your magic into creating it
  965. >With a flash of green you transform
  966. >Blink
  967. >Inspect your hooves
  968. >Yup, different colour.
  969. >Run a hoof over your forehead
  970. >A nice big horn sits there
  971. >Lovely.
  972. >You smile and walk back to the front door
  973. >Screwing up your face and sticking your tongue out the corner of your mouth slightly, you manage to undo the lock with magic
  974. >The door creaks open and sunlight pours in through the door
  975. >You squeal in happiness
  976. >But now is not the time for victory dances
  977. >It is the time for Anon finding
  978. >And with that, you run into Ponyville to find Anon
  979. >You are Anon
  980. Thanks, AJ.
  981. >"Not a problem, Anon. You take care, ya hear?"
  982. Will do!
  983. >You place the apples in your backpack and set off deeper into Ponyville
  984. >Pinkie ought to have something good going today
  985. >Maybe you'll pick up something for Sandy as well
  986. >Then again, she doesn't really need to eat. She can appreciate the taste, but it doesn't fill her the same way love does.
  987. >Such a bizarre creature, that changeling.
  988. >You stroll along, looking at the sky
  989. >Because of that rather stupid idea, you trip over a pony
  990. >You yelp and fall forwards
  991. >When you look to see who you tripped over, you see that you are led on top of a very disgruntled looking Twilight Sparkle
  992. Oh shit, sorry, Twi.
  993. >She groans
  994. >"No no... I was reading while I was walking. Kinda silly, really."
  995. >She laughs it off
  996. >"So can you get off me?"
  997. Whoops.
  998. >You hastily get off her and get to your feet, helping her up as well
  999. >"I would stay and chat, but I gotta go. Celestia has told me some alarming news, and it supports Fluttershy's crazy ramblings about a giant insect monster that wears the skins of ponies!"
  1000. >Stare at her
1001. >She continues, oblivious to your silence
1002. >"Hah! I mean, if I didn't know any better, I'd say she had run into a Changeling!"
  1003. Oh... Yeah... W-what's a Changeling, again?
  1004. >Twilight seems shocked
  1005. >"You don't know what a Changeling is?"
  1006. No, I don't.
  1007. >Twilight beams
  1008. >Lecture inbound
1009. >"Changelings are a magical race of insectoid creatures, capable of imitating those around them down to the smallest detail. The only difference is the mannerisms. Other than their alien personality, they are an exact replica of the original pony!"
  1010. Sounds... Scary.
1011. >"Oh it is. Old books on Pony/Changeling relations have shown that they are capable of mass espionage, able to take the places of generals and other important ponies, then launching huge surprise attacks from behind enemy lines, breaking trusts and shattering morale"
1012. >She shakes her head solemnly
1013. >"They truly are a terrible race. Their only disadvantage is their diet. They don't eat or drink like ponies do. They need love to survive"
  1014. Love? You don't say...
1015. >"Oh yes. Quite sad, really. The lengths they have to go to... A changeling away from the hive will have to feed on the love of couples around them, or take the place of a pony with a lover, so that it may feed off the love involuntarily given to it!"
1016. And you think there might be one in Ponyville?
1017. >"Well, it's hard to say. There haven't been many major disturbances lately. And nop0ny else has seen any black insects crawling around. So either Fluttershy was seeing things, or the changeling in question is truly-"
1018. >She takes a deep breath and dramatically looks at you
1019. >"A Mastermind of Espionage and Deception"
  1020. >You are Sandy
1021. >You just tripped over a bin and scared the hell out of a cat
1022. >The cat hisses and scampers off
1023. >You stand up and look around
  1024. >You're down an alley
1025. >No one has seen you yet.
  1026. >Especially not Anon
1027. >You can see him, quite far away.
1028. >He's talking to a unicorn. She seems familiar.
1029. >That unicorn everyone always talks about
1030. >From your hiding place, you watch as she rambles on and on to an increasingly distressed looking Anonymous
  1031. >Oh Anonymous...
1032. >You shake your head and blush again
1033. >The unicorn says her farewells and trots off, levitating several books with her
1034. >You sure wish you were that good with magic
  1035. >Opening a lock was a nightmare enough
  1036. >Hehe. Night MARE
1037. >Anon would appreciate that joke.
1038. >Time to casually walk up to Anon and shock him with your sexy new unicorn look
  1039. >You take a step forward
1040. >And trip over the bin again
1041. >Anon seems to be coming over this way. You're not sure why
1042. >What did you do wrong? Did you alert him?
  1043. >PANIC!
  1044. >HIDE!
1045. >You cram your entire body inside the bin and turn it upside down, sitting under it and waiting
1046. >You hear a tapping on the bin
  1047. >Flinch
1048. >"Hello? Is there someone under here?"
  1049. >It's Anon.
  1050. >But wait! He won't recognise you!
  1051. >It's foalproof!
1052. >You grin as Anon pulls the bin off you and stares down at you
1053. >His curious look vanishes and is replaced with one of confusion
  1054. >"Twilight?"
1055. >Oh bollocks. You knew you'd seen that unicorn before.
  1056. >You are Anon
1057. >Twilight is now under a bin, despite having just walked the other way.
1058. Twilight, I uhh. Don't understand, what are you doing?
1059. >"I am doing nothing out of the ordinary at all, fellow Ponyviller!"
  1060. >Oh god
  1061. >OH GOD
1062. >You look around frantically, to make sure no one else can see you both
  1063. >Drag her behind a dumpster
1064. Sandy! What the fuck are you doing?!
1065. >"Who is Sandy? I am not this Sandy po-"
  1066. >You slap her
  1067. Knock it off
1068. >She whimpers and her lips tremble, tears forming in her eyes
  1069. Sandy. Listen to me.
1070. >She sniffs and looks at you
1071. >Those huge eyes once again seem to enrapture you
1072. >You find it hard to find words or look away
  1073. >Blink a few times
1074. Sandy. You're impersonating the Princess' personal student and the Element of Magic. You could not have picked a worse disguise. What were you thinking?! Do you WANT to be caught?
  1075. >"I-I just w-wanted to see you..."
  1076. >Oh.
1077. >She buries her face in your chest
1078. >You sigh and stroke her mane
1079. >In a way, it's quite funny. Twilight wasn't lying. It's like the mare herself is here sobbing and making your shirt all soggy
  1080. >Only she's not
1081. >You sit in silence and console Sandy
  1082. >Down a dirty alleyway
  1083. >Behind a dumpster
1084. >This town really needs to take better care of itself. You were surprised areas like this were here
1085. >Sandy sniffs one final time and looks up
  1086. >She smiles
1087. >"B-but things are positive now that you're here."
1088. >Smile back and stand up
1089. Sandy, turn back into your normal state, please.
  1090. >A black insectoid takes Twilight's place
1091. NO, JESUS NO, NOT IN PUBLIC!
  1092. >She looks confused
  1093. The OTHER normal form
  1094. >She stares at you
1095. >Then goes "ooooh" before shifting back into the Tan mare you'd grown so fond of
  1096. >She giggles
1097. >"So uhh. Should we get some food stuff to consume?"
1098. No. I've already got some. We're going home right now and laying down transformation ground rules
  1099. >"Sounds like roommate fun!"
  1100. Yeah, sure. Fun.
1101. >Back at the house, you place Sandy on the sofa
1102. >She beams at you and you frown back
1103. >Sit on your chair facing the sofa
1104. Now. Sandy. First things first, never impersonate the elements of harmony. Ok?
  1105. >"Super!"
1106. Did you understand what I just said?
  1107. >"Absolutely not!"
  1108. >Sigh
1109. Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy. You are not to impersonate any of... Sandy?
1110. >Her face changed when you said 'Fluttershy'
  1111. Sandy are you-
1112. >She rushes off the sofa and bear hugs you as hard as she can
  1113. >"No Fluttershy. None."
1114. O...kay then. Are you alright?
  1115. >Sandy is trembling. A lot.
1116. >Her eyes are looking from side to side, and when she looks at you, you see some kind of primal fear in them
  1117. Sandy... What's wrong?
1118. >"I-I've been having night dreams."
  1119. Nightmares?
  1120. >She nods
  1121. What about?
1122. >Sandy goes on to tell you about her dreams with Fluttershy in them. How she's scared to leave you again because of what Fluttershy would do to you
1123. >You try to laugh it off
1124. Woah, hey, that was a one-time thing! Sure, she nearly raped me, but you were there to help, weren't you?
1125. >"But what if I'm not there the next time? What if she gets you and hurts you?"
1126. She's not going to hurt me, Sandy. That's not her style. I think.
1127. >Would Fluttershy actually hurt you?
1128. >You think back to the time she tried to make you drink a sentient black blob
  1129. >Huh
  1130. >Sandy hiccups
  1131. >God that's cute
1132. >You sit there, like you did in the alleyway before
  1133. >Just stroking Sandy's mane
  1134. >She's so warm
1135. >Was she always so warm?
1136. >She loves cold showers but she's so warm
1137. >Were her eyes always so big?
1138. >You realise that you've been looking into each other's eyes for a while
1139. >Her eyes are literally like two giant blue spheres
1140. >On par with Pinkie's for unnatural size and blueness
  1141. >Is blueness a word?
  1142. Eh, who cares.
  1143. >"Who cares about what?"
1144. >Oh shit did you just say that out loud?
1145. >Damn. You're dropping some serious pasta right now
  1146. >Stupid Sandy
1147. >She's getting that smile again
1148. >It makes you feel happy to see it
1149. >Maybe it's because you like having her around. And you really do. She's like a little...
  1150. >Can you say Sister?
1151. >She's not really a sister. More of a... Roommate.
  1152. >A nice roommate.
  1153. >She quirky.
1154. >And funny to be around
1155. >Sandy is now beaming at you, her face inches from yours
  1156. >She's cute as well.
1157. >Why are you only just noticing this now? You've known her for 6 weeks.
  1158. >You blame hormones
  1159. >And Jahoofers Witnesses.
  1160. >Damn it's getting hot in here
1161. >You stand up, placing Sandy on the floor
1162. >She continues to smile up at you
  1163. >It's no longer a normal smile
1164. >Not so much that cute smile she flashes when she's nervous
1165. >It's a curious smile. A smile with an agenda.
1166. >You've seen the same one when Twilight tried to get you to strip naked and let her study you
  1167. Uhh. I'm g-gonna go and get a drink.
  1168. >"Okay."
1169. >She doesn't break eye contact and backs up to the sofa, sitting on it and sitting up straight, smiling at you the whole time.
1170. >You try not to seem too flustered as you walk past her and into the kitchen
1171. >Run some tap water and splash it on your face
1172. >The fuck is wrong with you?
  1173. >It's SANDY.
1174. >Look back over your shoulder
1175. >She's staring straight at you, her hooves dangling over the back of it
  1176. >Turn back around
1177. >Ok, relax. It's just Sandy. You just need to go over there and tell her that you're not that into her
1178. >Wait, who said anything about being into her? None of you said that, you've just been smiling at her
1179. >Is there a rule against smiling now?
1180. >You're feeling immensely hot under the collar now
1181. >How the hell are you supposed to handle this? You should have seen the early signs
1182. >Always wanting to be with you
1183. >Finding everything you say incredibly interesting
1184. >Constantly trying to please you and make you happy
1185. >And last night she went as far as to sleep in the same bed as you
  1186. >She's crazy about you.
  1187. >Is that a good thing?
1188. >Fluttershy is crazy about you
  1189. >But that's the bad crazy
1190. >This is the good crazy
  1191. >IS there a good crazy?
  1192.
  1193. >You are Sandy
  1194. >Anon's in the kitchen
1195. >You just can't stop staring at him
1196. >When he held you in the alleyway, you just felt something from him
  1197. >Something strong
1198. >You think it might have been love
1199. >It was amazing, and delicious, too.
1200. >Far more potent than the love you've been finding lying around
1201. >That baker couple really fake their love for each other. You can hardly get anything off them. But it was enough to live off
1202. >You had to rely on Anon being hungry as well, so you could slip off at Sugarcube Corner and find them
1203. >But Anon... He gave you something incredible
1204. >And the best part? It just happened again
  1205. >It's almost intoxicating
1206. >Your mind is cloudy at the taste of it
1207. >It's rich, and creamy, like... Cream. But it actually fills you. Fills the void inside you
1208. >This must be what actual love tastes like
1209. >You feel stronger already. Much more alert than ever
1210. >And as you stare at Anon, the cogs in your head turning, you can only think of one thing.
  1211. >More.
  1212. >You are Anon
  1213. >Take a deep breath
1214. >Ok. This will be easy
  1215. >Turn around
1216. >Sandy is stood smiling at you in the kitchen
1217. >You're backed up against the sink
1218. >That smile has changed again
1219. >Is this what Twilight told you about? Is she going to suck the love right out of you?
1220. >Come on, Anon. It's Sandy, she wouldn't do a thing like that!
  1221. >"More."
  1222. >OK MAYBE SHE WOULD
1223. Uhh, Sandy, look. I don't know what's come over us- I mean, you. B-but you need to calm down. You're sorta scaring me.
1224. >She closes her eyes and licks her lips
  1225. >"It's delicious, Anonymous. More!"
  1226. M-more what?
1227. >"More love. You're feeding it to me right now and I want more of it."
  1228. Love? From where?
  1229. >She grins
  1230. >"From you."
  1231. >Oh shit.
1232. >You went and fell in love with a shape shifting bug monster
  1233. >GREAT WORK
1234. >Your heart is hammering in your chest and you inch away from Sandy
1235. >For every step you take backwards, she takes one forwards, fixing you with that predatory glare
1236. >She slowly opens her mouth and licks her fangs
  1237. >Fangs?
1238. >WHEN THE HELL DID SHE GET FANGS
1239. >The tan fur and maroon mane evaporate, and the black chitin replaces it once more
  1240. >"Anon?"
  1241. Y-yes?
  1242. >"LOVE ME."
1243. >Like a bat out of hell you run for the stairs
1244. >Sandy follows, her wings buzzing and making her take flight
1245. >You sprint into your room and slam the door, putting your weight against it
  1246. >You hear Sandy outside
1247. >God dammit... Even when she's chasing you like this your heart can't help but skip a beat at the thought of her
1248. >Though that might be the fear
  1249. >"Oh... ANON! YES! MORE!"
  1250. >NOPE. IT'S LOVE
1251. >FUCKING SHIT, ANON. FALL OUT OF LOVE WITH HER ALREADY!
  1252. >You sniff the air
1253. >A new smell burns your nostrils
  1254. >Look at the door
1255. >Greenish acid is slowly eroding through the door, you can see Sandy's beautiful blue eyes looking through at you
1256. >Before long the hole is large enough for her head, and she jams her face in, giving you a full view of your roommate's lust driven visage
1257. >You take a step back and look at her through the door
  1258. >"HEEERE'S SANDY!"
  1259. THAT'S CLICHE AS FUCK.
1260. >She crashes through the door and tackles your chest
1261. >You fall backwards and land on your bed
1262. >You're not liking this turn of events
  1263. >At all
  1264. >Or are you?
  1265. >She sighs again
1266. >"You're filling me up here, Anon!"
  1267. >FOR FUCKS SAKE
  1268. >Time for diplomacy
1269. Sandy. Please. I know you're uhh, addicted to love. But don't you think you've had enough? I mean... Uhh, shouldn't you set aside some love for later, or something?
  1270. >She gives you a flat look
1271. >"That's not how Changelings work, Anonymous."
  1272. A-are you sure?
  1273. >"Yes. Quite sure"
1274. So what happened to your speech problems? Why aren't you speaking all... Weird anymore?
1275. >"Not sure. Your love has made my mind more focused. I feel stronger than ever! So much love all for me!"
1276. >She squeals with delight, her face becoming one of bliss
1277. >It makes your heart soar
1278. >She giggles and looks down at you
1279. >Once again, she's led on top of you
  1280. >On your bed
1281. >She smiles down, flutters her wings and wags her tail a few times
1282. >You wait for her to do whatever it is she was going to do
1283. >She just sort of sits there
  1284. Uhh. Sandy?
  1285. >"Y-yeah?"
1286. >Oh. There's the nervous speech you fell in love with.
1287. Aren't you gonna... I dunno. Do something?
  1288. >"What are you meaning?"
  1289. >Smile
1290. Well, you like, chased me through the house, drunk off love, and pinned me down on the bed.
  1291. >Look at the door
1292. And you sprayed acid on my door. Seriously. Don't do that again.
1293. >Her ears go flat against her head
  1294. >"S-sorry... I'm so sorry..."
  1295. >She sniffs
1296. >"I just, um. Don't really know what to do"
  1297. What do you mean?
1298. >"Well I have you where I want you. I think. Umm. Now what?"
1299. Well what do you want to do?
1300. >She sits up, her hind legs on either side of your torso, then rubs the back of her head, a shy look on her face
  1301. >"Y-you know... Stuff."
  1302. >Smile warmly at her
1303. >Her wings buzz again and she smiles back, a blush appearing on her face
1304. >Her face is black though. How you're seeing the blush, you're not sure
  1305. >Fucking changelings
  1306. >...Fucking changelings.
1307. >Are you really about to do this?
1308. >You're not seeing any problems thus far
1309. >You hate to admit it, but you've fallen for her. She's just so much different than any other pony in town.
1310. >And now she's so shy and cute she has no idea how to initiate sex.
  1311. >She's like Fluttershy
1312. >But better in every conceivable way
1313. >Ok, brain. If we're gonna make this work, stop comparing her to Fluttershy.
  1314. >Sorry.
1315. Well. I suppose we'd better get started then, shouldn't we?
  1316. >"Y-yeah. Absolutely. Of course"
1317. >Sit up, holding Sandy up with your arms, preventing her from falling backwards
1318. >You lean your face towards hers, and your lips meet
1319. >It's a strange experience to say the least
1320. >Her lips are hard, like the rest of her body. But they give way when your lips brush against them
1321. >You explore this new concept by gently working your mouth on hers
1322. >She's tensed up, and you chuckle through your kiss
  1323. >"S-stop laughing... It's not funny..."
1324. >You pull back slightly, breaking the kiss
1325. >Sandy looks down, the blush deeply set on her face
1326. >You grin and go back in, more forceful this time.
1327. >She starts relaxing more, and begins to move her own mouth in response
1328. >You make the next move, opting to slip your tongue in
1329. >She tenses up again, but allows you to poke around. Her own forked tongue dancing around your flat one, gently caressing it while you stroke her fangs
  1330. >They're so sharp
1331. >You prick your tongue on one and wince slightly, but the sudden sharp pain only gets you more into it
  1332. >Everyone's a masochist.
1333. >You decide that enough is enough, and pull out
1334. >Sandy follows your tongue out with her own, and leans forward slightly while you pull back
1335. >She's still got her eyes closed, and her tongue is sticking out from between her lips
  1336. >You laugh softly
1337. >She opens her eyes and smiles at you
1338. >A genuine smile. Not one driven by lust, but by love.
1339. >You gently turn over and lay her on her back, her head resting on the pillow
1340. >She watches as your hands methodically stroke every part of her body, taking in the smooth texture of the chitin and the strange curves in her natural armour
1341. >Your hand moves down, lightly touching her soft underbelly
  1342. >She giggles at that
  1343. >So she's ticklish, it seems.
  1344. >A ticklish bug
1345. >You grin mischievously at her and move your hands to her belly again
1346. >She tenses up, but you don't make contact
1347. >You laugh again and she scowls, looking away
  1348. >"Jerk"
1349. >You simply smile and lower your hand between her legs
1350. >She gasps as you touch an area you thought unimportant
1351. >You watch in shock as at your touch, a small slit opens up, revealing the soft insides of Sandy
  1352. >Raise an eyebrow
  1353. Hello there...
1354. >"Hello! My name is Sandy!"
  1355. >You look up
1356. >She's blushing furiously and trying to avoid your gaze, a hoof over her mouth
  1357. >"Sorry"
1358. >You turn you attention back to the small opening between her legs
1359. >So this is where it was hiding. Between two black plates
1360. >You run a finger over them, causing Sandy to shudder
1361. >They're incredibly bendy. Much like rubber, and they contort easily to the slightest touch
1362. >Your curiosity is driving Sandy crazy, every time you bend one of the two plates, she squeals and shakes
1363. >A pale green substance begins seeping out of the slit, you dip two fingers in it and raise them to show Sandy, and to give you a better view
1364. >She stares at it and gulps
1365. >It's warm. And quite viscous
1366. >But the smell is the most noticeable thing about it
1367. >It's a powerful scent, it works its way into your nose and triggers a more powerful urge to satisfy the creature before you
1368. >Sandy notices your face, lost it thought
1369. >"Oh. Umm. T-that'll be the pheromone... Sorry..."
1370. >You raise your fingers to your mouth
1371. >Human curiosity demands a taste test on everything
1372. >You gently place your digits on your tongue, slowly licking the stuff off
  1373. >It's flavour isn't what you expected
1374. >Tangy, with a bitter aftertaste. But it's surprisingly moreish.
1375. >You savour this unique flavour for a while, Sandy watching you with her mouth agape
  1376. >"Do you like it?"
1377. >You take your fingers out and smile at her
  1378. Oh yes.
1379. >And with that, you lower your face to her slit and lick it from bottom to top
1380. >Sandy's back arches and she squeals, more of the addictive goo hitting your tongue
1381. >This only makes you go further, and you push your tongue inside her 'folds'
1382. >The texture of her inner walls is intriguing, like the same consistency of the outside, but it slackens the moment your tongue touches it
1383. >Like a rubbery muscle, dripping with that same tangy goo
1384. >You play with her walls, pushing in as much tongue as possible, and pulling her legs towards you to get even deeper
1385. >Sandy is pulling the pillow over her face and moaning into it, her cries muffled, but not unheard while you tongue her pussy
1386. >She starts panting heavily, and you feel her walls start to constrict around your tongue
1387. >You slide it out quickly, but as you leave, you give the outside one last lick
1388. >Sandy climaxes, screaming and spraying warm discharge all over your face
1389. >Some of it gets on your tongue and inside your open mouth
  1390. >You don't complain.
1391. >She goes limp and pants, her breathes slow and heavy
1392. >She turns her head and looks down at you
1393. >You look at her deep blue eyes and wipe your mouth
1394. >She groans again and a hoof strokes her belly, which you now notice has developed a small mound
  1395. >Grin
  1396. Getting full?
  1397. >"N-no... More"
1398. Ah ah ah! What's the magic word?
1399. >You're having way too much fun with this
  1400. >"More. Please."
1401. >She looks at you with pleading eyes
  1402. >"Please, Anon."
1403. >By this time, your dick is as hard as it's going to get
1404. >You slide off your pants and shirt, Sandy watching with still hungry eyes the entire time
1405. >"Your body is so... Exotic"
  1406. >Chuckle
  1407. Speak for yourself.
1408. >You crawl along the bed and over Sandy, looking down at her
1409. >She wraps her hooves around your neck and pulls you in for another kiss
1410. >This time both your tongues fight for control
1411. >She has the unfair advantage, and is tickling your tongue with her own
1412. >You feel her poke at your teeth and giggle over the kiss
  1413. >Pull back a bit
  1414. Having fun?
  1415. >"Y-yes."
1416. >You can feel her smile as she kisses you again
1417. >Your heart swells, and as it does, you feel Sandy's belly rise ever so slightly
  1418. Let's have a bit more then.
1419. >You get into a more comfortable position, and move Sandy to the edge of the bed
1420. >You step off it and line your dick up at her entrance, which is leaking copious amounts of goo
1421. >You gently press the tip of your cock at her slit, making her tremble with anticipation
1422. >Her panting become more rapid
1423. >You slide the tip up and down her opening a bit more
1424. >It opens and closes at your touch, the walls trying to grasp the offending object
1425. >You smile and look up at Sandy again
1426. >Your eyes meet, and for a moment you are once more lost in the... Blueness.
  1427. >Yeah. It's a word.
1428. >And at that, you push forwards and into her
1429. >Sandy gasps, as do you
1430. >The goo acts as both lubricant and cushioning
1431. >It encases your dick and cradles it while her walls frequently squeeze your length gently
1432. >Sandy bites her lower lip and a squeak escapes her mouth
1433. >You push further in, and her walls squeeze harder as you go deeper
1434. >Finally you hilt, staying still for a while, your mind reeling at the sensation your dick is feeling
1435. >You pull back about half way, then slide back in
  1436. >Sandy squeaks then giggles
  1437. >"It feels... Funny"
1438. Good funny or bad funny?
  1439. >"Good funny"
1440. >She bites her lip and her blush somehow goes redder
1441. >You pull out again and thrust, harder this time
1442. >Sandy's squeaks also get louder
1443. >You work up a rhythm, gently thrusting in and out, Sandy moaning and trying to grip the bed sheets
1444. >She shakes her head from side to side as you begin to go faster
1445. >You grip her flanks and pull her towards you again, using her as grip as you pound her
1446. >Lost in the ecstasy of the moment, all that matters is you and the glorious creature in front of you
1447. >She moans your name in response to your actions, each time getting louder
  1448. >"Anon! AAAAANOOON!"
1449. >You pant, feeling yourself getting closer over the heat and the tightness of Sandy's pussy
1450. >Her walls get even tighter and she tenses up, screaming your name and gripping your dick as she orgasms, the greenish goo spraying your front, the warmth of it enticing your bare skin where it touches
1451. >You can't hold on much longer either, the alien sensations making you grit your teeth and desperately try to hold on, anything to make this moment last longer
1452. >She arches again, and another flood of goo, warmth and sudden tightness catches you off guard
1453. >You cry out as you let loose your load inside her, pumping her full of your juices and making her moan even louder
1454. >You slowly pull out, your dick covered in warm slime, a mixture of both your juices
1455. >Sandy lies back on the bed, spread eagled and panting
1456. >You collapse on the bed next to her, breathing heavily
1457. >For a while you both just lie there.
1458. >Nothing else in the world matters right now
1459. >Because you have her and she has you.
1460. >You look over at her
1461. >She's smiling at you. Those beautiful blue eyes glistening in the sunlight streaming in through the windows
1462. >You offer a weak smile, the whole ordeal having drained you both
1463. >Neither of you say a word. And you lie back on that bed for nearly an hour
1464. >No longer exhausted, mind. You just didn't have a reason to move
  1465. >You didn't want to move
1466. >You just wanted to lie there and bask in the silence with Sandy
  1467. >And she with you
1468. >She snuggles up to you and you wrap an arm around her, not saying a word. Your actions having spoken for themselves
1469. >You kiss her on the forehead and she sighs happily, and for the first time in what seems like forever she speaks up
  1470. >"Anon?"
  1471. Yeah?
1472. >"I... Um. Really enjoy your company."
  1473. >Smile
1474. I love you too, Sandy.
  1475.
  1476. ---
  1477. Part 3
  1478. ---
  1479.
1480. >Day intense confusion in Equestria
  1481. >Wake up
  1482. >hit, hower, have.
1483. >Walk downstairs and realise something
  1484. >It's too quiet
  1485. >Uh oh
  1486. >Run into the kitchen
  1487. >Nothing's been burnt
  1488. >Shit. Bad sign.
1489. >Look into the living room
1490. >Not a single piece of broken furniture
  1491. >Everything is completely intact
1492. >Turn your gaze to the ceiling
1493. >No giant holes in it, or pieces of food stuck to it.
1494. >Scramble back upstairs and run to the guest room
  1495. >Bed is empty
1496. >Practically fall downstairs on your way to the front door
  1497. >Throw it open
1498. NO! DON'T YOU FUCKING DARE-
  1499. >She ignites the blowtorch
1500. >The force of the blast knocks you back in the house
  1501. >You hear a distant scream
1502. >Your ears ring and you groan as you pick yourself back up
1503. >The area in front of your house has been devastated
1504. >Bits of dirt fall from the sky and a huge crater now lies in the middle of the street
1505. >Stagger back outside and look around for her
  1506. >See a nearby bush
1507. >A pair of black rear legs slide inside it
1508. >The bush glows green for a second
1509. >Shaking your head, you walk over and pull the tan unicorn out by her legs
  1510. God dammit, Sandy.
  1511. >"Apologies."
1512. >You sit in your kitchen, now properly messy due to Sandy's slowly improving cooking skills
1513. >Duck your head to avoid a piece of carrot
1514. Carrots go in WITH the cucumber, Sandy.
  1515. >"Oh. That makes sense."
1516. >Roll your eyes and sip your coffee
1517. >So Sandy decided that your alarm clock wasn't doing enough to wake you up
1518. >She turned into a unicorn, trapped a massive amount of flammable gas inside a bubble of magic and tried to ignite it to see if the noise would wake you up
1519. >It woke up all of Ponyville, and sent a clump of dirt through the mayor's window while she was having a bath
  1520. >She wasn't too pleased about that
1521. >Sandy, on the other hand, marked the experiment as a complete success, cheerfully informing you that "Yes, Methane gas CAN explode"
1522. >You love that changeling, sure.
1523. >But she can be a little bit much at times.
1524. >You smile over your drink as you recall your night of passion a few weeks ago
1525. >You decided to try something new
1526. >Upon sticking it in her pooper, she yelped, turned into Big Mac, and kicked you in the chest
1527. >Fractured a rib, and you had to stay in bed for a while
1528. >Naturally, Sandy proved that she was more than capable of nursing you back to health, and applied duct tape to your chest where the damaged rib was
1529. >She also tried to feed you breakfast similar to how a mother bird would feed her chicks
  1530. >It was terrifying.
1531. >At least she's getting better at acting in public
1532. >Yesterday she only broke the waiter's leg.
1533. >'He was coming at you with a knife', was her excuse.
  1534. >"Anonymous! I have created something wonderful!"
1535. >She turns to face you, her eyes almost sparkling with joy
  1536. >She presents you with a sandwich
  1537. >"Don't thank me, I know I'm excellent."
1538. Sandy why is this sandwich covered in ketchup?
  1539. >"This isn't salad dressing?"
  1540. Uhh-
1541. >"W-well look! I even put the carrots on it!"
1542. >She's made you a carrot and cucumber sandwich with ketchup all over it.
1543. >You thought she was making salad.
  1544. >She smiles at you
  1545. >Gulp
  1546. I-i'm not hungry, Sandy.
  1547. >Her eyes narrow
  1548.
  1549. >You are Mr Waddle
1550. >Slowly make your way around the large pothole in the road
1551. >Don't remember that being there.
1552. >Ooh, your memory isn't what it used to be...
  1553. >Hear shouting
1554. >A nearby door bursts open
1555. >An overgrown monkey bolts out, followed by a unicorn levitating a red and soggy sandwich
1556. >"EAT YOUR FOOD, YOU SCALLEYWAG!"
  1557. >"I DUN WANNA!"
1558. >Chuckle and shake your head
  1559. Ahh, young love...
  1560.
  1561. >Be Anon
  1562. >Olympic runner
1563. >Vault over a sunbathing pony and charge through the market
1564. >Slide under a cart and pant heavily
1565. >Applejack pokes her head under it and raises an eyebrow
1566. >"Uhh, heya, Anon. Whaddya doin' under mah cart?"
  1567. Hiding.
  1568. >"From?"
  1569. Breakfast.
  1570. >"...Alright then."
1571. >She shakes her head and goes back to selling her wares to ponies
1572. >You hide under the cart, your legs sticking out next to where Applejack is stood
1573. >Sandy trots through the crowd, the sandwich levitating overhead and dripping ketchup on nearby ponies
  1574. >She surveys the area
1575. >Slowly, her head turns around and she locks eyes with you
1576. >Shit, you forgot she could track you by scent
1577. >A smile creeps onto her lips and she starts walking towards you
1578. >Scramble out from under the cart and pick up an apple from a bucket
  1579. >"Ah hope you'll pay for that."
1580. >You don't answer AJ, you instead throw the apple at Sandy in an attempt to scare her away
1581. >She doesn't move out of the way, like she normally would
1582. >Instead she just opens her mouth as wide as she can, the apple disappearing down her throat
1583. >She shuts her trap and grins at you
  1584. >Well fuck.
  1585. >That's new.
1586. >You take off again in a random direction, Sandy shouting out behind you
1587. >"GET BACK HERE AND EAT YOUR BREAKFAST, HUMAN!"
1588. >An aura surrounds your leg
1589. >Look down at it, then at Sandy.
1590. >She is straining herself as hard as she can to maintain the sandwich's flight, and pulling on your leg
1591. >You pull away roughly, Sandy's face scrunching up even harder
1592. >She then gasps and the aura around your leg fades
1593. >The sandwich also drops to the floor
1594. >She looks sorrowfully at it
  1595. >Nudges it with a hoof
  1596. >And sighs
1597. >She raises her head again, sadness in her eyes
  1598. >...
  1599. >God damn that face.
1600. >Walk over to her and kneel down
1601. >She whimpers and picks up the sandwich again with an aura
1602. >It's covered in dirt and a bit mangled from the magical strain put on it
1603. >You pull off a bit of clean (if not ketchuppy) bread and eat it
1604. >Give her an affectionate look
  1605. >She giggles
  1606. >Smiles sweetly
1607. >And shoves the entire sandwich in your mouth with magic
1608. >You scream over the food
1609. >She forces you to swallow
  1610. >Shudder
1611. Oh god that tasted so bad
  1612. >Sandy laughs
1613. >"Sustenance has been provided! Onwards to a new day!"
  1614. God dammit.
  1615.
1616. >Sit at the till in Rose's shop.
  1617. >Yawn
  1618. >Slow day
  1619. >...
1620. >Rose is in the back with a new delivery from faraway lands
1621. >You're so bored, and these pony magazines are about as interesting as the plants surrounding you
1622. >Rest your head on the counter and think about life
  1623. >The door opens
1624. >Smile to yourself and raise your head again
  1625. >To your surprise, it's Twilight Sparkle
1626. >She's giving you a very odd look
1627. Uhh, hello, Twilight! What can I do for you?
1628. >She hesitates, then trots up to the counter
1629. >"I... Wanted to talk, Anon."
1630. >Shift yourself to get a better look at her
1631. >You tower above the little mare, even when sat down
  1632. Go on?
1633. >"You remember uhh, Fluttershy, right? She had a bit of a scare about a month ago."
1634. >You think back to yourself
1635. >You remember her trying to rape you in this very shop, but nothing of note-
  1636. >Oh.
  1637. Yeah?
1638. >"Well I've been doing some asking around, and I just wanted to ask you some questions."
  1639. I'm all ears
  1640. >"About Shifting Sands."
  1641. >You shuffle uncomfortably
1642. >You know all too well about the relations between Changelings and Ponies.
1643. >Sandy has done her best to stay as normal as she can.
1644. >No one seems to have caught on yet about her apparent ability to change race at will
1645. >Twilight is eyeing you closely
1646. >Snap out of your thoughts and lock eyes with her, a more serious look on your face
  1647. Ask away.
1648. >"Where did she say she came from?"
  1649. Out of town.
  1650. >"Where, though?"
  1651. Out of town.
  1652. >"Who were her parents?"
  1653. Doesn't remember them.
  1654. >"What race is she?"
  1655. Unicorn.
  1656. >"How old is she?"
  1657. Twenty three.
1658. >"What does she do at night?"
  1659. Sleep on my lap.
  1660. >"Why so defensive?"
  1661. I'm not being defensive.
1662. >You both glare at each other, Twilight preparing for another bout of rapid-fire questions
1663. >She rears up on her hind legs and places her front hooves on the counter
1664. >You stand up, abusing your height in hopes of intimidating her
1665. >"You wouldn't normally be so antsy, Anonymous. What are you hiding?"
1666. I'm not hiding anything, Twilight. I just don't like being questioned.
  1667. >She narrows her eyes
1668. >"Where is Shifting Sands now?"
  1669. I don't want to tell you.
  1670. >"Why not?"
1671. How do I know you won't hurt her?
  1672. >"Why would I do that?"
  1673. >Shit.
1674. >You struggle to find an answer
1675. >Twilight's burning gaze is boring a hole into you
1676. >"I don't know what you're hiding, Anonymous. But there's something going on between you and Shifting Sands. What kind of pony has a panda cutie mark anyway?"
1677. The kind of pony that wouldn't appreciate you prying into her life. Leave, Twilight.
1678. >You both stay perfectly still for a minute, the clock on the wall slowly ticking away
  1679. >Eventually Twilight backs down
1680. >"Okay, fine. I'll go. But I WILL find out what her deal is, Anon."
1681. >As Twilight leaves the shop, you watch her go with despair
1682. >Wherever Sandy is now, you hope she's safe and doesn't talk to Twilight
1683. >Something drips onto your head
  1684. >Look up
1685. >Sandy is stood on the ceiling, drooling onto you
1686. >"Hello again! Twilight wanted to speak to me but I disguised myself as myself walking along the ceiling!"
1687. >She takes that as her cue to drop from where she was stood
1688. >You jump and prepare to catch her
1689. >She lands in your arms with a pomf
1690. >"What are you about to do with me?"
1691. Drop you on the floor, tell you to leave me alone whilst I'm working, and also tell you to stay the hell away from Twilight Sparkle.
  1692. >"Alright then!"
  1693. >You drop her
1694. >Tell her to leave you alone whilst you're working
1695. >And then tell her to stay the hell away from Twilight Sparkle
1696. >She gives you a mock salute and trots out the store
  1697. >Backwards.
1698. >Keeping eye contact with you at all times.
1699. >She kicks open the door with a back foot and onto the street, still looking straight at you until the door closes.
  1700. >Shake your head
1701. >You dread to think what shit she'll get up to
  1702.
  1703. >You are Shifting Sands
  1704. >Twilight-Sparkle-Avoider
1705. >Anon gave you an order, and you'll be damned if you're going to let him down
  1706. >Turn around
1707. >Twilight Sparkle is grinning, unblinking at you
1708. Hello! I was told not to speak to you!
  1709. >Her grin widens
1710. >Something in the back of your mind tells you that something is horribly wrong
1711. >When it finally clicks, you slap Twilight as hard as you can and take flight
1712. >She takes a second to recover, nursing her cheek, then gives chase
1713. >Flap your wings as hard as you can and head back towards Anon’s house
  1714. >Look down
1715. >Twilight is following you on the ground, looking up at you flying and still grinning
1716. >You panic and fly through Anon's open bedroom window
1717. >Your wing catches on the window frame and you lose balance, bouncing off the bed next to the window and onto the floor
  1718. >Groan
1719. >A loud pop and a burst of violet light causes you to flinch
1720. >Stand up and turn around
1721. >Twilight is stood in the corner of the room, smiling at you.
  1722. >"Anon said you were a unicorn."
  1723. N-no. I've always been a pegasus. Yes. A pegasus.
1724. >"I see... And where do you come from?"
1725. >She starts to stalk towards you, opting you to back into a wall
1726. I uhh... I come from my old home?
1727. >"And where might that be?"
  1728. ...Canterlot?
  1729. >Twilight giggles
1730. >"I doubt that. I'd say by your accent that you come from..."
1731. >She quickly pulls a map out of her saddlebags and unfurls it on the floor, stabbing a levitated quill at the barren area in the southern quadrant
  1732. >"THE DESOLATION."
  1733. >You freeze up.
1734. >Your mind starts running through a variety of plans.
  1735. >Eat her?
1736. >No, Anon would be mad
  1737. >Fight her?
1738. >She's way better than you with magic
  1739. >Fainting goat?
  1740. >...
  1741. >Fainting goat.
1742. >On cue, you seize up and drop to the floor like a sack of potatoes
1743. >Twilight blinks a few times then trots over, cautiously
1744. >She prods your face with a hoof
1745. >You remain completely still and unblinking
  1746. >Twilight looks around
1747. >"Uhh, are you okay? I didn't mean to scare you. Honest. I just want some answers"
1748. >Your eyes glaze over as you begin to enter a sort of rigor mortis.
  1749. >Twilight nudges you again
  1750. >"Hello?"
1751. >You stop breathing in an attempt to seem less alive
  1752. >"Are you... Dead?"
  1753. Yes! She bought it!
  1754. >"No I didn't."
1755. >YOU SAID THAT OUT LOUD, YOU IDIOT.
1756. >Stand up and regard Twilight with a cautious look
  1757. >She smiles and extends a hoof
1758. >"I think I've seen everything I need to. My name is Twilight Sparkle. What's yours?"
  1759. >Quick! Give her a fake name!
  1760. Sands Shifting.
  1761. >Sandy, you genius.
1762. >"Shifting Sands... Odd name, for a Changeling."
  1763. >You wince
1764. >Twilight catches this and smiles
1765. >"It's ok, 'Shifting Sands'. I'm here to help."
1766. >You eye her with curiosity
  1767. Proceed?
1768. >"Well, if you were in Canterlot, you would probably have been thrown in prison. But out here there's none of those "Federals" lurking around!"
1769. >Twilight Sparkle says that there are no federal agents lurking around
  1770. >Seems perfectly legitimate.
1771. >You nod slowly and she continues
1772. >"Sooo... If you were to come with me, I have lots of questions to ask you! And we can see about sending you back to the hive you came from!"
1773. >That sounds lovely! You love the hive!
  1774. >Hang on a second
1775. I cannot go back to there. They removed me.
  1776. >"Removed you?"
1777. Yes. Exiled. Kicked out. Told to leave. Given my pink slip.
1778. >Twilight stares at you for a second
  1779. >Then she laughs.
  1780. >Hard.
1781. >Watch her laugh herself to tears while you awkwardly shuffle on the spot
1782. >"Ooh, that was good! Everyp0ny knows that Changelings can't be removed from the hive! They'd die! I've read so many books from various explorers on the lifestyles of Changelings, I know what you're like"
  1783. But I-
1784. >"No no no, I'll have none of it. We'll send you back!"
  1785. But I don't want-
  1786. >"Come on! It'll be fun!"
1787. >Twilight effortlessly sweeps you off your hooves in a magical aura and strains herself
1788. >You both disappear in a flash. But to where, you're not sure.
  1789.
  1790. >Be Anon
1791. >"Now, are you sure this plant is safe?"
1792. >You look at the cactus that the customer is inspecting
  1793. >It's an Appleoosan Daggertip
1794. >It's spines are each about 5 inches long and secrete a poison so vile it induces paralysis within 2 minutes of penetration
1795. >Come to think of it, you have no idea why it's even here to begin with
1796. >How did Rose even get this thing?
  1797. >Meh, who cares
  1798. Perfectly safe, sir!
  1799. >"Wonderful! I'll take it!"
1800. >You pack up the plant and mutter a quick prayer that the stallion doesn't have children
1801. >As he leaves you think back to Sandy and where she might have gotten to
1802. >It's been 30 minutes since she left and she hasn't sneaked back inside to pester you some more
1803. >Hear a door to one of the store rooms open
1804. >Rose pokes her head around a corner
1805. >"Hey there, Anon. I'll be a bit, uhh, busy for the rest of the day because of this exotic plant, so I'm closing up the shop early."
  1806. Oh. Cool.
1807. >Rose gives you a very fake smile
  1808. You alright?
  1809. >"Suuuuure! I'm doing great!"
1810. >A large green tendril grabs her mane and yanks backwards, but she jerks her head forwards again, clearly straining herself
1811. >"S-say, Anon. Could you pass me those shears?"
1812. >Reach behind you and grab them
  1813. >Look back towards Rose
1814. >Several more tendrils are now latched onto her limbs, and she's struggling to hold onto the bit of wall that is the corner of the room
  1815. >Hand them to her
1816. >She takes them in her mouth
  1817. >"Fanks Anon!"
1818. >She allows herself to be pulled back into the room by the plant
  1819. >Listen for a while
1820. >"MAKE FERTILISER OF ME, WILL YOU?"
1821. >A loud piercing shriek reverberates through the shop
1822. >"AND JUST WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE STICKING THAT TENDRIii- AAAAaaaaahhhnn~"
1823. >Shake your head and leave Rose to "fight" the plant
1824. >You have to find Sandy anyway
1825. >Exit the shop and walk home
1826. >You keep an eye out for any suspicious looking ponies/changelings, but nothing out of the ordinary strikes you
1827. >By the time you reach home, you feel on edge
1828. >You grab an apple from the kitchen and munch on it, walking around the house and checking all of Sandy's hiding spots
  1829. >Under the chairs
  1830. >In the cupboards
  1831. >On the ceiling
  1832. >On your back
  1833. >Nothing
1834. >You murmur to yourself and jog upstairs to check her room
1835. >On the way to it, notice that your bedroom door is ajar
1836. >Walk through it and look around
1837. >Your window is wide open
1838. >Make your way over to it and think to yourself
1839. >Your bed is messed up
1840. >Something has been sat on it lately
1841. >See something poking out of the folds of the duvet
  1842. >Pull it out
  1843. >A tan feather
  1844. >Your eyes narrow
1845. >Whilst you think to yourself, your eyes wander out the window
1846. >They absentmindedly fall on the tree house library that is Twilight's home
1847. >You pause and squint at it for a while
1848. >You can only really see the top of it from here, but still...
  1849. >Maybe?
1850. >You look back at the feather in your hands
1851. >Run your fingers over it and try to piece together everything
1852. >You don't want to imagine that Twilight got to her, despite your warnings, but it looks that way.
1853. >Even if it WAS Twilight, there's no harm in checking, right?
1854. >You make up your mind and head out the front door on a brisk walk towards the library
1855. >As you step out onto the street, a figure steps into view
  1856. >Someone you haven't seen in a while
1857. >She smiles up at you with her teal eyes wide with wonder, yet partly hidden behind her pink mane
1858. >Let out an exasperated sigh
  1859. Fluttershy.
1860. >"H-hello! Umm, Anon. How are you doing?"
1861. I'm looking for my friend. Please go away.
1862. >"W-why would you want to go searching for Sandy? I'm all you n-need..."
  1863. >You glare at her
1864. >She realises what she just said
  1865. >"Oh... Ponyfeathers..."
1866. >Grab her and drag her back inside your house
  1867. >She coos at you
1868. >"A-are you going to love me?"
1869. >Shut the door, so that the public can't see what you're going to do next
  1870. >Slam her against a wall
  1871. Start talking.
1872. >"W-what is there to talk about? You look tired! D-do you want a hug? I can make you some coco then maybe suck you off-"
  1873. START. TALKING.
  1874. >"T-twilight umm..."
1875. >She mumbles something under her breath and looks away from you
  1876. >Growl and squeeze her
1877. >She shifts uncomfortably under the pressure
  1878. >"P-please stop, Anon!"
1879. What is Twilight doing, Fluttershy.
1880. >"Well, uuh, it was sort of maybe my idea, but, um, I thought that maybe if I told Twilight where to find Shifting Sands she could send her home or maybe do science on her, I don't really remember but Twilight said that she had never had the chance to experiment on a Changeling before, but now that Shifting Sands is out of the way can we have sex?"
  1881. >Gawp at her
  1882. You... Twilight...
1883. >Let Fluttershy drop to the floor and rub your eyes
1884. You let TWILIGHT get hold of Sandy?!
1885. >"Umm. yes? I did it for you though!"
1886. >Open the front door, letting it slam into the inside wall
1887. >Punt Fluttershy into the crater Sandy created
1888. >Take off towards the library as fast as you can
  1889.
  1890. >You are Shifting Sands
1891. >This sure is a bizarre situation to be in.
1892. >Twilight has secured you to a table and is now prancing around the basement area under her house
1893. >She returns to your side with a clipboard
1894. >"This is going to be so much fun! I get to do what no pony else has ever done and Fluttershy gets Anon! Every pony wins!"
  1895. >You laugh nervously
1896. Ha ha ha what a story, Twilight! What was that about you doing things to me?
1897. >Maybe getting her to ramble on will solve your problems!
1898. >"Oh! Well, prior to today, Changelings have always been too elusive to capture, and no pony has been able to get their hooves on one long enough to document their physiology! Most accounts are eyewitness reports and artist depictions. But now that you're here, I can document a full study of Changeling anatomy and help every pony to learn!"
1899. >She gets a mad look in her eye and leans in uncomfortably close to your face, breathing through her mouth
  1900. >"You know!"
1901. >She's now so close that you can smell the sandwich she ate for lunch
  1902. >"FOR SCIENCE!"
1903. >She stands there and pants heavily in your face for a while, her eyes darting around your body and taking in your fake pegasus body
1904. >You try and edge away from her, only to be foiled by the restraints
1905. >"First of all, we need to get rid of that pesky disguise! Now don't worry, I've done this before in Canterlot!"
1906. >She zaps you with a quick burst of purple
1907. >You yelp in pain as your magical disguise is overpowered and practically torn off you
1908. >Blink and look down at your normal black and hole-covered body
  1909. Uh oh.
1910. >Twilight giggles, her voice teetering on the edge on mania
  1911. >"This is so exciting! I can't believe it!"
1912. >She goes into a fit of giggles and runs off to grab some more supplies
1913. >You try and use magic to get rid of the restraints, but a sharp pain in your horn reveals that they are enchanted to stop magic
  1914. >Hear another giggle
1915. >Twilight steps back into view
1916. >"I'm not letting you get away that easily! You're an important part of my research, and Celestia will be so proud of me when I show her my report!"
1917. >She reveals an assortment of scalpels and other instruments
  1918. >Gulp
1919. >Twilight levitates a particularly nasty looking tool from her arrangement and licks her lips quickly
1920. >"Now, I don't have any drugs to knock you out with, but to be honest, I'm kinda interested to see how you react to... THIS!"
1921. >She launches her tool at your chest
1922. >You wince and feel a rush of pain sear through your-
  1923. >Wait
  1924. >No you don't.
  1925. >Glance at the scalpel
  1926. >Twilight is dumbfounded
1927. >She slowly raises it from you
1928. >The end is bent at a 90 degree angle.
  1929. >"Uhhh"
1930. >You peer at your chest
1931. >Your natural armour has a small scratch on it, but nothing too major
  1932. >"Don't worry! I can fix this!"
1933. >She levitates all her tools and slams them into your chest
1934. >The wind gets knocked out of you, but the same effect happens
1935. >Your armour now has a large dent in it. But all of Twilight's tools are useless
1936. >"UUGH! Why isn't this working?! I don't have much time... Come on, just, like, get rid of your armour!"
1937. >Twilight starts pleading with you
1938. >"Pleeeeease? Just pull back the chest piece or something!"
1939. Why don't you do it?
  1940. >Sandy, you're a fucking moron
1941. >Twilight's eye widen and she gives you a look similar to that of a child that realises that the circle shaped block goes into the circle shaped hole
  1942. >"...Oh."
1943. >You let out a cry as Twilight starts to tug at your armour with her magic
1944. >"Oh wow! This is much easier!"
1945. I AM IN GREAT PAIN RIGHT NOW!
  1946. >"Fascinating!"
  1947.
  1948. >You are Anon
1949. >The library is in sight
1950. >But unfortunately, Fluttershy somehow managed to get out of the hole you punted her in
1951. >Like she has wings or something
1952. >Look behind you and see Fluttershy flying after you, with tears in her eyes
1953. >"Please, Anon! Just give me a chance! I'll love you better than that monster ever could!"
1954. >Ignore her and carry on running, the yellow demon desperately trying to catch up with you
  1955. >"Anon, PLEASE!"
  1956. FUCK OFF, FLUTTERSHY!
1957. >You shoulder barge the front door to the library open, Fluttershy in hot pursuit
1958. >Literally, hot pursuit. She's leaking everywhere. It's like if a snail took flight.
1959. >You hear a sharp cry come from the door leading to Twilight Sparkle's Wonder Emporium and basement
  1960. >Go to open it
1961. >The door rattles, the locks on the other side barring you from your prize
1962. TWILIGHT. OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT NOW!
  1963. >A moment passes
  1964. >Hear a familiar voice answer you
1965. >"Twilight told me to be quiet so that you'll think that we aren't down here!"
1966. >God dammit, Sandy. You can't even be held captive properly
  1967.
  1968. >Speaking of Sandy
  1969. >You are her
  1970. >And she is you
1971. >And you also have a large knife stuck in your chest since Twilight tore off your chest plate with magic
  1972. >It kinda hurts
1973. >But you aren't too worried. Changeling regeneration is good at solving issues like this.
1974. >"This is amazing! Your body keeps healing everything through everything I do to it!"
1975. >She removes the knife and you both watch as the wound closes itself, leaving a faint scar behind
1976. >You look at the purple prodder, now giggling gleefully with her nasty knife
1977. >Anon would be proud of your alliteration skills
  1978. >Speaking of which-
1979. >"TWILIGHT I WILL RIP THIS DOOR OFF ITS HINGES IF YOU DON'T OPEN IT RIGHT NOW!"
  1980. >Twilight calls back
1981. >"Don't worry, Anon! I'll return her soon, I just need to test out a few more things!"
1982. >She stabs your chest again
1983. >It heals back up when the knife is removed
1984. >You feel sort of dizzy
1985. >Must have something to do with all your powers relying on love and Twilight is unknowingly draining you of your reserves for her own scientific curiosity and soon she'll probably kill you because you won't be able to regenerate anymore once you run out.
  1986. >...
1987. >You really should have mentioned this before she started getting stab-happy
1988. Uhh, I think you should know that-
  1989. >Stabbed
1990. Ow-... I really can't keep this up all d-
  1991. >Stabbed
1992. OW. Twilight, I am being totally serious at this moment in ti-
  1993. >Stabbed
  1994. Ugh...
1995. >Twilight eventually gets bored of stabbing you and moves on to greater things
1996. >"Now, some ponies -might- consider this inponeane, but I think that it will further our understanding of your species even more!
  1997. >She holds up a tool
  1998. What's that?
1999. >"It's a hammer, hacksaw, spanner, screwdriver, pneumatic drill, giant foam hand and a toothbrush all welded together!"
  2000. What does it do?
  2001. >"Who knows? Let's find out!"
2002. >She raises it over her head with magic, preparing to slam it down on you
  2003. TWILIGHT!
2004. >You slam a fist against the door, glaring at it while you listen to Twilight's giggling from inside
2005. >Fluttershy gently taps your shoulder
2006. >"Umm, Anon? If you're too tired now from hitting that door... C-can you maybe love me for a little while?"
2007. >Turn to face her so fast you fear you might have broken your spine
2008. Fluttershy. I will destroy everything you ever loved if you say one more god damn thing.
2009. >"B-but I love you! Are you really going to destroy yourself?"
  2010. >Stare at her
2011. >Not because of what she just said, but because you just had an amazing idea
2012. Hey, Fluttershy. How hard is your skull?
  2013.
2014. >"I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS, ANON!"
  2015. TOUGH SHIT.
2016. >"W-WHY DID YOU THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA?"
2017. >Grin manically at the pony under your arm and back at the door at the other side of the room
2018. I SAW THIS IN A MOVIE ONCE.
2019. >Charge towards the door, holding Fluttershy like a battering ram
2020. >She screams in terror as you collide with the door
2021. >The locks are shattered and the door flies open, the momentum carrying you forwards and down the stairs before you
2022. >Fluttershy bounces down the steps with you and lands in a heap at the bottom
  2023. >Stand up groggily
2024. >Sandy's tail starts wagging when she sees you
2025. >"Greetings, Anonymous! Nice of you to drop on by!"
2026. >She grins toothily at you
  2027. >"T-that was a joke-"
  2028. Stop talking, Sandy.
  2029. >"Okay..."
2030. >Turn to Twilight, who is laughing nervously
2031. >"Heeey! Anonymous! I hope you don't mind but uhh, Good ol' Sandy here was just helping me gather data! Right, Sandy?"
2032. >Sandy smiles and says in a rather chipper tone
2033. >"She kidnapped me and stuck knives in me! It wasn't as fun as I had originally anticipated. Oh, and also this thing!"
  2034. >You look at Sandy's chest
2035. >A creation of unparalleled uselessness is wedged in her chest
2036. Sandy why is your chest plate missing?
  2037. >"Twilight took it!"
2038. Twilight why are you pulling body parts off Sandy?
  2039. >"Uhhhh-"
2040. And lastly, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING TO MY CHANGELING?
2041. >"Oh! Oh! Is that me?"
  2042. SHUT UP, SANDY!
  2043. >"Apologies!"
2044. >Twilight backs further away from you
2045. >You start to close the distance between you both
2046. >"Anon? I swear to Celestia this was a mistake! Why don't we just-"
2047. >Grab her mane and pull her face closer to yours
  2048. Tell me everything.
  2049. >"Uhhh, I'd rather- FLUTTERSHYDOITNOW!"
2050. >Without you realising, Fluttershy had plucked the... 'thing' out of Sandy's chest
2051. >She throws it at you, apologising before and after doing so
2052. >Nimbly dodge it, letting go of Twilight in the process
2053. >Twilight aims her horn at the roof of the basement and fires a purple beam at it
2054. >The ceiling explodes, showing you in dirt and wood
2055. >Fluttershy grabs Twilight and starts to ascend, slowly.
  2056. >Really slowly
2057. >Twilight shakes a hoof at you while she gets carried out of the basement via her Fluttercopter
2058. >"I'll get you, Anon! And your little Changeling too!"
2059. >She cackles in a way similar to a saturday morning cartoon villain and disappears out the hole in the roof
2060. >Sigh and turn to Sandy
2061. >She makes cute chirping noise
2062. >Then sprays acid all over her bindings
2063. >Watch as the green goop melts through the restraints
2064. But... Couldn't you have done that before?
2065. >"Don't be foolish, Anon! Then she would have figured out I was a Changeling!"
2066. >She raises a hoof to the side of her mouth and her eyes dart side to side before she whispers at you
2067. >"I think I got away with it!"
2068. >You stare at your 'partner', who is missing a large piece of carapace from her chest and covered in green blood, as well as being in full insectoid mode
2069. >She stares back, determined to win the sudden staring contest you're both having
2070. >Eventually she gets bored and takes flight, her hole-covered wings carrying her over to you
2071. >She hugs you tightly, then looks up at you, her soft blue eyes still as innocent to her surroundings as the first day you saw them
2072. >"Shall we go home? I bet you're kinda hungry!"
2073. You were just... Dissected. Alive. Don't you want to rest?
2074. >"Not at all! I'll be fine as long as you still like me!"
2075. Of course I like you, Sandy. Why wouldn't I?
2076. >She hovers away, and faces you, still smiling
2077. >"That's all that matters, Anonymous."
2078. >You are surprised as you see a whisps of green magic materialising a thick black piece of armour over the hole in her chest
2079. >For a few minutes you observe her chest mend itself
2080. >She taps it with a hoof once it's completely closed
2081. >"Lots of love makes for a happy and healthy Changeling! Now come on! I think I can smell food upstairs! Or it might be the dragon. Can you eat dragon? Let's go eat the dragon..."
2082. >She buzzes away from you, talking to herself before switching it up to an off-tune little song she just made up
2083. >Follow her in silence up the stairs
2084. >"Little dragon! Little dragon! Are you home? I sure do hope that vore is your fetish!"
2085. >Shake your head and smile to yourself
  2086. >Fucking Shifting Sands.
  2087.
